#I am 5'1'' I am autistic and I am frequently mistaken for a girl. I get CONSTANTLY infantilized and it makes me so fucking mad.#I am a perfectly competent adult man I'm not fucking stupid and I can take care of myself#I know how to ask for help when I need it stop fucking taking tasks away from me because you think I don't understand what I'm doing#If I am intensely focused on something that looks complicated that probably means I understand how to do that task better than YOU do#I am not confused you dumb fuck I am concentrating#Don't snatch the fucking object I am tinkering with out of my hand like you think I'm going to hurt myself with it or break it#This bitchy post brought to you by: I can't try to fix things in front of my mother because she'll grab them away and then break them worse#It keeps happening#I have had to fish things back out of the garbage after she's said ''Oh no let me do it'' and then destroyed them + got frustrated + gave up#I shouldn't have to hide in my room to repair my own electronics#.It speaks#!@$%^&%$#I don't like to fiddle with things that have a lot of tiny parts in MY room because I have black shag carpeting in here#It is HORRIBLE to drop a teeny tiny piece of something on this floor and then have to dig it out of that carpet
