arcane s2 thoughts
prayinggg we get a no soundtrack version because while i do like a few of the tracks (yes even Enemy!!!), there are more duds than hits and they take me out each time
also obviously i'm a Jinx Is Alive truther because of the ending scene of cait staring at the air ducts to the hextech tower fiddling with a fragment of her bomb...come on. jinx has said in the start of the season that she wanted to leave piltover/zaun and with isha gone and her sister happy, she can finally do that
i am very invested in jinx and vi's relationship so when jinx without any hesitation chose to let herself go from vi's grasp and destroy warwick (both something that vi could not do) which in one fell swoop legitimizes her agency, protects vi from a monster, saves vander from eternal hell - i'm like yea...[sniffs] that's a redemption arc baby
jinx and vi. piltover and zaun. they'll always be sisters...yea....
i admire the open ending with the airship. but she did say she'll ride one of those things one day. yay.
maybe an unpopular opinion but i liked cait this season. finally some bite and controversy and trauma to her choices. she was way tooooo comfortable in s1. while she's still a cop, at least she's interesting now!
also ok....yelled and hollered when lesbian sex is finally happening. rejoice guys - i thought we will never get it
the writing pace of this show is bonkers and i understand they need to keep it tight because of animation budget but what the helllllll was that viktor machine herald speedrun. it felt like it needed a good one more season to incubate and i was overwhelmed with that + jayce's heel turn + mel's superpower reveal like hold on hold the fuck onnnnnn what does this meannnnnn
gay sex in hextech void deus ex machina goes crazy tho
like oh yeah i am cosmically tied to only one man in this world and he alone can guide me to the error of my ways in any universe
ok!
mel being the most specialest princess in the entire world seems right imo. i can easily be riled up to sycophantic fervor to serve in her army just say the word ma'am 🫡
let's not forget the tragic irony that Mel was exiled by her mother and has tried to carve her own path through diplomacy and peace in defiance but ends up finding herself sitting in her mother's steel ship in her colors with her army with so much power in her veins and now leaves the city she loved that her mother ruined too. mel merdada one of the characters of all time......
and i am a number one sap so!!!!!!! the flashback scenes this season got me hurting real bad. when i thought i was devastated by Remember Me...here comes s2e7 to punch me in the gut
the fact happiness and normalcy was possible for powder...the fact that powder will never use hexcore because of what happened to vi and it made all the difference. vi's death unknowingly protecting her sister (and the world!) from beyond the grave...i am sobbing my eyes out
also as a season one timebomb shipper, thank youuuu arcane writers i didnt expect this at ALLLLLLLLLL???? it was written like everyone knows they were an item except themselves??? i have done nothing to deserve this but thank you
UPDATE: i hv been informed that they are already dating in the alternative universe from background details. even more delicious
i am just happy to be here and prepared to be devastated
vanderco Real. like don't even waste your breath to say they aren't when they look like they are glowing in domestic bliss. what's some light stabbing and drowning between married couples amirite fellas
claggor and mylo!!!! i didn't expect to get emotional seeing them since idrc but seeing them grown up like ohhhh these are vi and jinx's brothers...and they'll never know this life...okay.....
the alternative timeline pretty much put a bandaid to the pain and suffering for the past 2 seasons and as contrast for more suffering. i love it. the writers are so diabolical
heimerdinger sacrificing himself for ekko is ok for me lol idc abt him goodbye cheesepuff
i still need to process the Ambessa vs MelCait fight. im quite sure there's some great parallels there
but Ambessa as a character is sooooo fascinating. while i hv qualms making a prominently Black character be an imperalist warlord (othering her with her accent too), Ambessa i fear is so so very cool and i was slightly rooting for her ngl like i can't hate a cunning ambitious woman it's against my nature!!!!!
i am gonna think abt mel holding up ambessa like repin's painting of ivan the terrible for a longggg time
side note: i love that sevika finally got what silco wanted all along - a seat at the (council)table. like that's my wifeeeeeee. lib ending i know i know since the best ending is a free state of zaun but like narrative wise it would notttt make sense at the point of time. but also since they never confirmed anything, i wanna say they'll have a go at dismantling the power structure that is oppressing zaun with sevika keeping an eye on it. not a perfect solution but i'll take it rather than leave it
so will i watch another show on LoL?
mmmm.......anyways guys watch Penelope of Sparta!

Jinx's New Normal.
They still held each other.
Now that they knew where they stood, Lux felt like she could actually really let herself enjoy the situation...
Laying here, next to Jinx, under the blankets, was a bliss she hadn't dreamed of. She looked up at the roof and the scorch mark she'd left there and felt a little pang of embarrassment. She REALLY hadn't held back last night... Gives the room some character, she thought. Homely.
She probably shouldn't have stayed there so long, she should have been on her way back to the Garrison by now... She wanted to stay here forever now...
She woke up Jinx with a kiss... A long, slow, deep altogether immoral kiss that probably lasted way too long and would have had her locked up for indecency. Not even even public indecency. Just on principle!
Neither of them seemed to mind.
Her Witch wiped a tear mark from her face and stared at her with those big, violet eyes... Gods, she could get lost in those so easily...
"Do I have that to look forward to every morning...?" Jinx breathed out, rubbing her arms around her. "Because I think I'm going to be very happy every morning... Demacia might be missing a soldier, though... You don't mind, right?"
"I wish I could stay longer, love." Lux breathed out, making the lights in her eyes dance. "Unfortunately, I have a feeling Garen would find a way to track me here if I'm too late after the last few days... And besides, we both know he's dead without me. So I'm afraid I gotta go..."
She felt Jinx give her a squeeze and press herself closer... That cat analogy came back to her mind for a second. "When has an Illuminator just left a Witch alone before...?"
"Oh, we both know you're not really a Witch... But there is a first time for everything, if last night taught me anything." She squeezed her back. "And I think last night taught me a lot~"
Jinx couldn't wipe that grin off her face if she tried. "You know, it taught me a bit myself... But if I'm not a Witch, then what am I...? Other than a disgusting criminal psycho, of course~"
"You really must stop referring to yourself as a psycho. You're so much more than that..." Lux quickly kissed her. "Not least of all my Jinx.."
Another smooch.
"My Firework..."
Another kiss...
"My Bluebird~"
Jinx actually let some air out at that name.
"That one." She said, as soon as she had control of her mouth again. "I like that one. Call me that one..."
"But of course, love." She really didn't want to go... "But when I'm back tonight. I really do have to go."
It took her a while to untangle herself from Jinx, but she managed it, with great personal effort.
Jinx couldn't help but stare as she put on her armor. She felt only a little bad for leering at her the way she did, but Lux sure didn't seem to mind it... Hard not to stare once you know what's under the armor...
Gods, she was down bad!
By the time Lux left the hut, Jinx had still not moved out of her bed. She had to, at some point, of course... But she was just... Stunned.
Who would have thought, when she was living in a bar in the bowels of Zaun, that she would have ended up like this? She wondered what little Powder would say if she could see her now... Would she be happy that she was sharing her bed with a magical princess? That she had been a warrior and fought for her home before dramatically faking her death and becoming a witch in the woods? It really did sound like something out of a fairytale...
When she finally got out of bed she couldn't help herself. She did a cartwheel.
Then she got dressed and started fixing the house.
The first thing she found was Ekko's hoodie on the couch. She took it in her hands and neatly folded it with all the care in the world. She gave it a small kiss, and then opened her drawer and left it there... "Someday." She told herself. "But not for now. Not for a while..."
The rest of the house was a bit harder to put together with all the broken glass, but she'd managed worse.
*****
The very first thing Lux did upon seeing her big brother was hug him like she wanted to crush him.
"I take it last night went well...?" He said with a smile. He really didn't want any details, but he felt it was polite to ask.
"Thank. You." She said. And she beamed a huge smile he hadn't seen in years.
"You might want to pull the reigns a bit... You're glowing, sister."
She unwrapped her arms from his armor. "Yeah, about that... I might be needing some new gloves. The last ones kinda... exploded..."
"And I definitely didn't need to know that." He said and just patted her head and led the way to the garrison.
It was a little hard to concentrate on work with her mind flying around this morning's memories at light-speed, but she'd manage...
Somehow.
*****
Now that the glass was off her floor and she'd had time to put the couch, the workbench and the nightstand back in their place, she had to come up with something to do... Lux had a job. And if Jinx wanted to give back, she'd have to find something to do. Maybe work at Ellie's!
Nah. She could cook, but making cupcakes all day would give her an aneurysm...
Maybe open a chop-shop? But nobody moved on machinery here...
This was gonna be harder than she thought...
She decided to keep herself occupied while she thought of something... Restocking her supplies of Chompers always relaxed her, but when those were full and she didn't need anymore, she was stumped... She played with the little flashlight Garen had gotten her.
She wondered how long it would take for the Lord Commander to figure out she'd been moaning about his sister in her sleep... Best not to be there when it happens!
And then she had an idea. She could maybe help arm the Illuminators... Though Lux wouldn't appreciate her Bluebird's weapons being used to hunt mages. Welp, that plan is out...
She needed to tinker with something... But she had no need for a weapon and it was still a few hours until Lux showed up... It felt like waiting for her to come over and experiment had taken a back seat. When was the last time they'd run test on her powers? She wanted to be there when she figured something new out...
Hey, wait a minute...
She'd had some time to herself since leaving Zaun, and in that time, she'd learned a lot about her own powers... How strong she was, how fast she could get, how much of a beating she could take... But like Lux, what if that wasn't all there was? What if she could do more? Limited to the physical, of course, but the theory held water. According to Revek, her own dad got a healing factor from his experiments... And he was too much of a freak to stop experimenting once he found something new... So before that, back when he did it to her, what else had he pumped into her system...? Shimmer was known for getting people high... Was that something she could do? Point at somebody and go "You're high as a kite!" and immediately trip them out? The thought amused her a lot, and the gears started turning in her head...
Too much work for right now, though. But not a bad train of thought to board!
She looked down at the flashlight in her hand and decided to have some fun while she waited to bounce ideas off of Lux's pretty head...
*****
Lux was excited.
Almost as much as she was worried that breaking into the Arcane Registry was somehow getting easier the more it happened.
When she rode Star through the woods that night, she was a little tired from the day and couldn't wait to lay on that ramshackle bed. Garen had even asked why she wasn't sleeping at home anymore and she'd bolted out of the house before he could ask anything else...
She was also really excited to see Jinx's face when she showed her the gift she had for her!
She knocked on the door and tried to push, and to her surprise, it didn't budge. 'Holy shit, she did it. She finally got a lock!'
"Jinx...?" She called out. "I'm back!"
She heard something hit the floor, then scampering to put something back where it was supposed to be and finally a tiny 'click!' on the other side of the door before it swung open.
"Hey, Flashlight." Said Jinx, leaning on the doorframe. She was smudged with soot and had her welding goggles resting on her forehead. "How was your day?"
"Officially? Pretty boring... Unofficially, though~" She sidled beside her and let herself in. "I see you finally caved and made a lock!"
"Yeah, well, I got bored. And besides, it's not just my privacy at stake anymore..." She closed the door and showed Lux how she'd made a functioning door lock out of a flashlight. "Felt fitting, you know?"
"That's incredibly sweet." She would never understand how she managed these things. "And I very much appreciate the symbolism."
"Least I could do. Besides..." Jinx wondered if saying this was right... Ah, fuck it. "This hut is your home too."
Something in Lux lit up, and it had nothing to do with her powers. She held her rucksack like she was hugging a teddy bear and lazily sauntered to the workbench. She couldn't believe nothing was broken! Either that, or Jinx had spent a good chunk of the day putting everything back together... Last night had been a bit of a blur after a certain point.
Jinx sat on her little stool as Lux leaned on the table. "I got you something too~" She teased.
"You didn't!" Jinx had to repress her blink again.
"Well, of course I did! I'm a Lady of my Word!" Lux slowly started unzipping the rucksack. "Although, such knowledge shouldn't come without a price~"
"Oh?" Jinx caught on quick. It was the eyes... That and the fact that every light in the house just dimmed a little at once. "But I'm a simple Witch of the Woods, without so much as a nickel to my name! Can't you take pity on me, oh Illuminator?"
"Perhaps... But I would require a little something for my trouble still..." She leaned over her and caressed the goggles on her head. She'd gotten pretty confident since her powers started evolving! "Magic, after all, is not to be... Mishandled~"
"And how does one handle such... magic, exactly?" This was only slightly getting out of hand. She'd just fixed the house! "Not as softly as one would expect, I hope?"
The lights went out, or rather all the light went out. Even the ambient light from the moon outside seemed to vanish. They were now in pitch blackness, and only Lux's eyes shone in the dark, close to her, like a comforting little campfire she couldn't wait to get burnt by.
She leaned in close, right next to her ear and Jinx could feel her breath pass her cheek. "Nowhere near~"
Yeah, okay, that was it. Her hands practically moved on her own as they flung themselves around Lux's neck.
Their lips met again, and the lights burned bright once more. Jinx loved this game of emotions they played now that they were... Well, now that they were!
When her face finally got unstuck, Lux presented the books. "Alright, love, here you go! One extremely forbidden and possibly cursed registry of runes and their potential uses, as promised!"
"You get me the sweetest presents, did you know that?" She took the dusty, old tome with all the care in the world and laid it next to Fishbone's head on the workbench.
"You haven't seen sweet yet, gorgeous." Lux winked at her and Jinx could swear some golden sparkles flew out of her eye. She was probably red as hell, but she didn't care!
"Is that a promise, My Light?" She felt like it was okay to say that after 'Bluebird' nearly took her out. Lux seemed to enjoy it, the way she played with her hands...
"Oh, naturally.. If you let me help out! I want to be a part of this." She sat on her lap as she said this and Jinx had to actively stop herself from jumping her bones right there and there. "This is important to you and I want to have a hand in helping blow up my Bluebird's enemies."
"That is the single hottest thing you have ever said." She readjusted her welding goggles and suppressed a cartwheel.
"Night's still young~" Lux said, as she made her shirt under her breastplate invisible for a second, and suddenly, the tinkering was the least of their concerns... Well, at least the one on the table.
And the night did indeed have more to offer. Jinx had turned their entanglements into a little game. Welding goggles went on, and she'd do something to make Lux light up like a Progress Day parade. Then, when Lux finally got her glow under control, she'd try something else, and they'd repeat until they were both exhausted and giggling like crazy...
In the mornings, for a brief period before Lux left, they'd tinker together, and wonder what Jinx could do to make some scratch on her own. And when Lux was at her brother's place, Jinx would cartwheel around the house and fine-tune the gadgets the two witches made... Soon, the hut was alight with new inventions from top to bottom, one of which being a little walking table that carried muffins around the house whenever the girls called.
And the nights went as one would expect...
Jinx thought that if this was her new normal, she would be very happy here in her hut... Their hut. And on occasion, she pulled out Ekko's hoodie and made sure nothing was eating it, only to put it back in the drawer once she saw it was still well maintained...
For the next few months, that little life in the woods was everything she could have wanted... And while nothing lasts forever, the memories they made would keep Jinx going in her darkest moments to come.
Not least of which was the day someone else came to her hut...

Mel knew what they were doing was wrong. There was no way around that, but she couldn’t help herself. Everything was so much easier with Vi. Sure, she was from undercity, her sister had been terrorizing piltover, and she was dating Caitlyn, but she didn't care. Well, not enough to stop sleeping with her.
"Fuck Princess, even better than I remember," Vi panted as she rolled over in bed.
"Oh, better than what you remember from two days ago?" Mel answered a smirk forming on her lips.
Vi sat up slightly to look at her, "Can you blame me for being eager to get you back in bed?"
Vi reached over and pulled Mel towards her. Mel tucked her head under Vi's chin and cuddled into her. Mel knew how much Vi enjoyed feeling like the big spoon since Mel was taller than her.
"I would never blame you, love, but we have to remember to be discreet," Mel reminded her.
"I know. But it's hard. I mean, I have to act like I've never spoken to you. Honestly, I don't think anyone even knows we know each other, so we don't have much to worry about," Vi said.
Mel pulled back out of Vi's hold to look her in the eyes.
"Violet, I know you think that, but it's different in piltover. Because of who I am, people are always watching. I can’t let this get back to Jayce. Or Caitlyn," Mel said.
"How long are we going to keep doing this? You want me. I want you. Why are we sneaking around?" Vi whined.
She had been in piltover for a few months now. After her sister blew up the council, things with her and Cait were difficult. She cared about Caitlyn immensely, but Jinx was still her sister. It was hard for Vi to reconcile that two of the most important women in her life wanted each other dead.
Everything felt off. She was staying with Caitlyn and her father, but he clearly didn't want her there. But Vi couldn’t go home. She didn't really have a home to go back to. The tension with Vi and Caitlyn's dad became too much and boom! She ran into Mel when she wondered out of Caitlyn's mansion, trying to sort things out in her head.
Vi was sure Mel was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen, and she had just accidentally shoved her into a fountain. It wasn’t the best first impression, but it got them here.
Mel sighed and bowed her head slightly.
"I know this isn't...ideal. But given the state of things, due to your sister I might add, I don't want to have any more issues with the council," Mel responded after a moment.
"That excuse is getting old Mel. I'd understand if this was new and the attack was fresh, but it's been months. I love you, but I can't wait forever," Vi said, getting out of bed.
"Vi wait, you don't have to go yet. Just stay, please." Mel pleaded.
In truth, she knew Vi was getting antsy. At first, all she and Vi did was talk. They vented about their day. Discussed what would happen with Zaun and Piltover. They talked to each other about whatever they couldn't say to their partners. Or things they did say that caused arguments.
Eventually, the talking became more physical comfort. At first, it was simple things. Their hands brushing when they sat next to each other. Hugs that lasted a little too long. They were friends, it wasn’t odd for friends to touch. But Mel knew exactly when things changed for them.
When Vi held Mel's face in her hands to qwell any tears that were threatening to spring forth. Mel knew. She knew that these last few months were bearable because she had Vi. When the days were too much and the council called for blood, sneaking off to talk with Vi in private kept her sane.
"I know you want more than this Vi. You know I do too. But we have to be smart about this. I need all the people I can get on my side if I'm going to propose peace between zaun and piltover. If Jayce finds out what we're doing, he'll never back me up." Mel tried.
Vi didn't turn around, but she stopped putting on her clothes. The shirt she grabbed balled up in her left hand.
"Are you sure it's that or do you not-"
"Vi, I want this," Mel cut her off.
Slowly leaving her bed, Mel walked up behind Vi. Mel was still naked as she wrapped her arms around Vi. She involuntarily shivered at that skin on skin contact. Mel loved how she and Vi just fit.
Mel leaned down to whisper in her ear, "Come back to bed, darling."
Vi hummed and let Mel pull her back to bed. Vi wasn't sure what to believe. If you let Jayce tell it, Mel could be a manipulator, but Vi didn't see that side of her. Mel always seemed genuine to her. Even if she had her own agenda, her ability to be persuasive wasn't something she could fault her for.
"Fine. But only because you wore me out and I'm too tired to go back to Cait's."
Mel just smiled as she and Vi curled up in bed together. She would need to figure out when to break up with Jayce, but for now, she just wanted to fall asleep in Vi's strong arms.

❥๑𝐒𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐋 — demon! jinx x f!reader where she finally catches her prey. there's an old saying that you cannot outrun your demons...but at least you could invite it to dance.
ᴛʜɪꜱ ɪꜱ ᴡʀɪᴛᴛᴇɴ ꜰᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴜʀʀᴇɴᴛ ᴇᴠᴇɴᴛ ᴄᴏᴠᴇɴ ᴏꜰ ᴠɪʟʟᴀɪɴꜱ. ᴘʀᴏᴍᴘᴛꜱ: demon au + shadows.
— contains: f!reader, death threat, fear, n sfw, fingering, degrading, bottom reader.
— a/n: dedicated to and requested by @ladylusts-world. had lots of fun with this! hope this brightens your day, darling! 💗
— word count: 2,3K
“come out, come out, wherever you are..”
your erratic breath and the overwhelming noise of your frantic heart ringing in your ears, almost like the blood flow was a tempest, was everything that your mind could apparently wrap itself around. with trembling hands, you clutched the walls, dragging your fingers through them as you clutched the wall in order to turn on the lights of your crappy piltie apartment. you shrieked at the ticklish feeling of a tiny spider that slipped through your fingertips. well, this was the only thing you could afford. even a spider-infested egg apartment in piltover is better than the hood you lived in zaun.
however, now you have no time to howl and whine about your low-class life as you should be directing your attention to the creature that stalked you through the dark, cold alleys on that empty night. working for demon hunters must’ve been the most stupid shit you submitted yourself to for some humiliating amount of money. bills don’t pay themselves and you didn’t want to go back to zaun. you couldn’t, actually. you weren’t exactly a person to whom they were very fond. cheating on card games and going so far as stealing sevika’s wallet weren’t forgivable for them. you did this to survive. an orphan who used to be homeless didn’t have many options to change her life. that didn’t matter to them. most of them also had a fucked up past. you were just another pathetic criminal, robbing and selling your morals in order not to be devoured by the bigger fish.
sighing and drowning in fear, you finally flicked on the lights in the living room. however, once you did so, your soul almost left your body and your heart leaped straight to your throat. you felt like screaming and running, but you were frozen in place, your brain going into fight or flight mode.
“are you lost, princess? you know, it’s not very polite to just run out of playtime just like that…last i checked, we were still playing tag…and i am it.” there jinx sat in all her demonic glory. her legs sloppily spread and her arms slumped on the arms of your chair. her eyes were glistening red as she eyed you up and down like the prey you were. “well, here i am.”
you gulped and stared at the blue-haired creature with wide, fearful eyes. her blue and pink nails tapped incessantly on the wooden table, making you flinch and form goosebumps all the time.
“your effort is admirable. really. but it’s useless! the dumb girl thought she could chase me?” jinx laughed out loud at your pathetic state. “track me down for the big bad hunters to catch me…oh, boo hoo, guess who’s getting the chase now? you still have no money, sweets. no money and soon to be six feet under.”
the wind fanned the blue strands of her hair softly and it made her almost look angelical. that’s the irony, you thought to yourself. your feet almost gained life by themselves and you bolted away, trying to get to the front door. you panted heavily and screamed at the top of your lungs. you almost thought jinx would let you out and you could have another chance. you glanced over your shoulder for any sign of her. nothing. however, you had no time to celebrate since you collided right against lean muscles and tripped over, falling on your back on the cold floor. now standing before you, jinx smirked and glared down at you.
“aren’t you tired of running, toots?” she mocked with a pout.
“no! please, let me go…i-i…i made a mistake. i just needed the money, t-they used me. please. please, don’t kill me. i can’t just stop trying to make it out alive!” you pleaded desperately and the demon girl’s grin only became wider, her eyes almost alive on her face.
“i am tired of chasing. game over, little one.”
you pushed yourself to your feet once again and stared at jinx with hopeless eyes. she was a demon, after all. you were nothing but a human mutt who couldn’t do anything to save your own skin. why struggle so much, why walk through fire to save your life, when death would always find you? shit, you thought to yourself.
“can you at least kill me fast?” it was your only request. the words sounded funny to jinx as she just began laughing, her hand grabbing your arm and pulling you closer. you flinched and shut your eyelids tightly, awaiting her strike.
“who said i will kill you…now?” your heart felt like it would fail you anytime. your legs wobble and a cold shiver goes up your spine. hope was cruel. “i am willing to bargain, sweetheart! if you play by my rules, i might just let you live! thrilling isn’t it!?” jinx almost squealed in a cheery voice.
you stared at her and gulped, hands tightly fisted on your sides. the sight of you so fearful and scared awakened a fire in jinx. she loved the hunt. she loved when her lambs were begging for their lives because she had that control over them.
“and what do i have to do?” jinx smirked and you yelped as she dragged you back to the living room. for a slim and short girl, she was rather strong. you assumed it must be her powers. escaping her was literally impossible. so you just needed to embrace your future and believe she was telling the truth. it was your last hope.
and you were grasping it earnestly. you’d survive by yourself all your life. nobody was there to save you but yourself. how come this would be any different now?
jinx sat down on your armchair and lifted her arms, taking them to the back of her head as she relaxed on the furniture. her eyes shone brightly like rubies as she devoured your figure with them.
“turn on your record player…i wanna hear some rock n’roll, sweetness.” with trembling hands, you immediately attended to her request and reached over to turn it on, then chose a ‘she wants revenge’ disco. soon, the soft guitar swallowed the room as ‘out of control’ began playing.
“w-what now, jinx?” you asked with a scared tone.
“now…take off your clothes.”
“what?”
“i said take off your clothes. don’t make me repeat myself, toots, you are boring me to death and that’s very dangerous.” she sighed and you immediately complied. your hands shakily undid the buttons of your shirt and you ripped it off, your skirt following. as you were about to slide off your stockings, a hand grabbed your wrist, stopping your actions. you looked up to see jinx standing in front of you again. “keep these. these…these are staying, sweetheart. you ain’t taking them off, they look so juicy on you.”
“how are you so fast, i-i didn’t even see you stand up!”
“you are so entertaining, little one!” jinx laughed. “i am not human. nothing about me is human. not anymore.”
her small hands grabbed your hips and pulled you closer. your bodies were now flush together as she began swaying her hips with yours. it confused you and jinx seemed to catch on to that.
“i want to dance with you, sweetheart. if you please me, i might just let you go.”
shakily, you laced your fingers with hers and relaxed a tiny bit as she wrapped her arm around your waist, leading the dance as you both turned your living room into a ball room. the guitar and rock sound didn’t match the energy of your slow dancing, but it was fairly intriguing. it was sensual, erotic, even. the danger did seem more appealing to you now. this is a rather better way to die instead of being killed off with a bullet to your skull from someone you robbed in the past. your life wasn’t so glorious, but your death could be.
your grip on jinx became tighter and you put your head on her shoulder, sucking in a breath to inhale her scent. you wanted to feel her entirely. she smelled like the perfect mix of sweets and gunpowder. your breath fanning against jinx’s neck did things to her and you could hear her growl in your ear.
“i could find a better use to you than being dead, (y/n)...”
“i am yours. do as you please, jinx.”
that’s all the answer she needed to just throw you against a wall. your back slammed against it and you grunted, though before your brain had time to register the pain, jinx pressed her full body against you. her hand grabbed the back of your neck and tugged your hair, pulling you into a heated kiss.
her devilish sharp tongue slid into your mouth with ease and took dominance of yours. the grip on your hair led your face however she wanted. your breathy whimpers and how your touch on her faltered made her skin catch on fire.
"a-a h! jinx! jinx!” you moaned directly into her mouth when she slid her thigh between yours, her free hand gripping your hips and making it roll so your damped underwear humped her skin.
“that’s it, darling. that's my name. who makes you feel so fucking good, huh? i barely touched you and you are so desperate for me,” she moaned and reached over to unclasp your bra. “fuck, just look at these…so perky and delicious...fucking beautiful titties. they are all mine now. tell me who makes you feel like this…” she groaned and leaned down to capture your nipple in her mouth, sucking and licking it as her free hand groped your other breast.
“jinx! jinx!” you whined and gripped the walls, your fingernails scratching the yellow tint, desperate to hold onto something. eventually, you held onto her instead. reaching earnestly for the demon, your fingers grabbed her back, nails scratching the exposed parts. this made her go feral and pull back.
“you are such a good girl, you’re so much more fun like this, huh? i like it when they are needy. the sluttier, the better.” she breathed out.
you released a surprised gasp when jinx just tore your panties in half, leaving you completely displayed to her, with nothing but your stockings on. she looped one arm beneath your thigh and put it over her hip, hand sliding between your bodies to rub your slit. you let out a surprised whimper and jinx smirked.
“so fucking wet you are, pumpkin…hmm…” she took off her fingers for enough time to shove them into your mouth, forcing you to taste yourself on her hand. “how good of a whore you are, darling. such a messy little pet i get to break, all mine, all for myself. no one else 's."
after she pulled it back, jinx returned her hand to its previous location. wet digits rubbed firm, fast circles on your clit. a hoarse scream left your throat and you bent forward, almost falling onto her, but she was strong enough to keep you up against the wall. your nails drew blood from her back and you were so overwhelmed that you bit her shoulder, jinx grunted under her breath and pushed two of her fingers into your starving, dripping hole.
her free hand gripped your chin tightly and forcefully pulled your face up so you were staring into her eyes. your legs were buckling beneath you and all you could do was moan. her fingers felt so good inside of you. each time she pounded into you felt like all thoughts in your brain were becoming jelly.
“don’t dare look away, princess. eyes up here, right on mine,” she chuckled and leaned in to spit directly into your mouth like it was nothing. you hissed and immediately swallowed it, feeling it go down your throat like the finest wine. “good girl. such a good little fucktoy i found all for myself. you feel so tight around my fingers. if only you could see how fucking pretty your little pussy looks swallowing my fingers, darling…mmhm, i might just become addicted.”
with her thumb and accompanying the rhythm of her finger-fucking, jinx began doing clicking motions on your clit, your eyes glossy and glued onto hers, mouth open as a series of drawn-out cries and dragged moans left your throat. you shook and rolled your hips, desperately chasing your so-needed release.
“fuck, you look so beautiful. cum. cum for your new owner, pumpkin. cum like the slut i turned you into…”
her command was all it took for you to release. you came like you never did in your life. you fucked her fingers through your aftershocks, still releasing needy whimpers as your whole body seemed to become overwhelmed with pleasure. you nearly collapsed in her arms, but jinx held you up.
her smirk was stamped on her face as she took in the marvelous sight of your ruined self. she did this to you. and she needed to see it again. not now, she didn’t want to break you that much. you were the best she’d ever had. you would be screaming her name again tonight, but right now you needed some aftercare.
jinx brushed the hair strands from your face and leaned in to kiss you deeply on the mouth, free hand still gripping your chin.
“i was going to kill you, but i found a much more promising use for you instead, toots.” she breathed out with her forehead against yours. “and i will not let them hurt you either, darling. nobody gets to kill you but myself. but i am not going to. not yet, at least, sweetheart. i wanna see how much further i can break you.”

Jinx's Christmas story.
Lux briefly wondered whether she really was in the right place. The address seemed right and she followed the directions meticulously.
Still the shop in front of her seemed to be out of business. She tried her luck anyway and shouldered the heavy door open.
‘Hello? Is anybody in? I have been referred to your services to acquire special items’ she called in the empty, dusty room.
Pink glowing orbs appeared in the darkest corner. Too late she realized that they were eyes.
‘Referred, huh? Whoever referred you must have either a bad humor or a need to see you dead to send you my way’ The voice belonged to a scrawny young woman who stepped into the light now. Her long blue braids swirled the dust her steps raised.
Lux took a step back ‘E-excuse me?’ Her hand tightened around her staff, so far still hidden under her cloak. She caught herself. The woman could be no older than herself and should be no match to her in corporal strength. She had a small gun strapped to her, but seemed otherwise unarmed. She straightened, now towering over the bluenette, set her politest smile in place and started again ‘I am looking for a magical artifact to direct magic and focus it. I was told you could obtain anything and if not you could build it.’ Her voice was firm but friendly.
‘You really have no idea who I am, do you?’ the other snarled ‘Whatever I don't care about your magical whatever, get the f out of my shop! I’m not some little servant to posh blondie princesses.’ She turned to retreat back to wherever she came from.
‘But I can pay a good amount for your services!’ Lux tried again ‘My travels have been long to find it and I really am desperate by now. The piece is needed direly! Please, if you could find it in you to help…’
‘I will find it in me to shoot you if you don't get out of my hair right now!’ The other all but growled at her.
Lux knew better than to stay and left hurriedly.
Jinx puffed a breath out of her nose, now that the blonde foreigner finally left. Who did she think she was? Coming to her turf, commissioning her like some handyman.
The inventor pulled her backpack from behind the counter and left too, too irritated to keep building fickle igniting mechanisms.
She strode with purpose, hoping to make her way home quick and undisturbed.
Today was not her day. A small girl, maybe 10 or younger and even more scrawny than her approached her, begging for food and spare. She hissed at the child and continued her way home.
Times of day held no real meaning in the ever gloomy chemglow of Zaun so she just decided to go to sleep. She undressed and dropped in her bed.
Jinx awoke to the feeling of being watched. When she opened her eyes, Powder hopped on the bed next to her.
‘Can’t you leave me alone to sleep! I’m so tired of the company in my head!’
At first Powder just looked at her, then she spoke. ‘There will be three more ghosts. But only for tonight. They'll show you how much you shut everyone out and what will happen if you keep going like that. Be prepared’ With the last remark she hopped from the mattress and dissolved into thin air. Jinx groaned and pulled the covers over her head. Whatever.
Sleep reclaimed her quickly
The antsy feeling woke her once more. Again she shot up and with Zapper out. On the foot of her bed stood a woman. She looked oddly familiar, even if Jinx couldn't put her finger on it.
‘Who are you?!’ The gun woman demanded, weapon still raised.
‘I am the ghost of Christmas past’ the woman answered in a warm tone. ‘I am here to remind you’ she stepped closer, moving her hand to touch Jinx.
The bullet fired flew right through her. Jinx laughed grimly ‘Ok, I don't know who you are, but you're in my head, clearly. Make yourself at home, meet the others, but I'll go back to sleep now.’
Just as she wanted to turn, the ghost’s hand met her shoulder.
A feeling quietly similar to hex acceleration hit her and suddenly she stood in a small, dingy room. She took the scene in. A family of four around a Christmas tree. The father, skinny and dark haired, the mother with her purple braid over her shoulder. And two kids. One with short bright red hair holding a baby with the same shade of blue she had herself.
They came to life like a record that was just set to start.
‘Don't you want to open your presents, Violet?’ The mother asked.
The redhead shook her head ‘All I wished for I already got! I really really really wanted a sister and finally I have her!’ She held the baby closer to herself ‘You are the bestest present ever, you hear me pow?’
The scene stopped again. Before Jinx could speak, she got pulled away again. Now she was in the basement of the last drop, again it seemed to be Christmas. She remembered. They never had much, but Vander made sure they had a feast and at least one present each. She watched, her heart beating painfully
‘I go first, because I'm the coolest!’ Mylo stated. ‘Next Vi, cause she's our leader, then Clag. Powder can get the leftovers.’
‘No fair!’ Powder cried. Vi picked her up and gave Mylo a light punch on the arm.
‘We’ll wait for Vander and then he will tell who goes first, damn idiot!’
Powder clung to her older sister like a baby monkey.’
She continued to watch them make jokes and enjoy the festive setting. It hurt how much she missed this.
Again she was pulled, this time to a more recent Christmas. It had been last year, up in Silco’s estate on a cliff outside of Piltover. They rarely went there, but Christmas always brought them there. The tree was enormous and the presents underneath were plenty. Slico, his closest, the chembarons and herself were situated around a long table eating like topsiders.
Silco leaned to her ‘You can open up all the presents on the left. When the barons are gone, you can have the rest. Those are not for them to see.’
She smiled up to him ‘left now, right later, got it’
‘Good girl, I'm sure you'll have all your wishes fulfilled’ he said.
‘Even the childish ones?’ Jinx wondered.
‘What kind of caregiver would I be if I'd not entertain even those on a day like this?’ He smiled back at her.
Jinx watched her younger self tear through numerous boxes, still blue eyes lit up with glee.
With a blink she was back to her bed, alone. She dropped back and groaned. If Powder was right, she had one ghost down, two more to go. She thought of ways to evade them, considered staying up, but sleep pulled her back under.
At her next waking, she was prepared. She looked at the new ghost plainly ‘And you are?’
‘The ghost of Christmas present’ he said. He wanted to continue, but Jinx interrupted.
‘Whatever, let's just go!’ She had no patience for this.
The pull brought them outside the Kiramman estate. They looked in through the big windows. Based on the people's looks, it could be just now.
Vi was there, holding hands with Caitlyn. Caitlin's father and her mother, who had survived Jinx’s attack on the council by sheer miracle. She sat in her wheelchair laughing, not at all perturbed by Vi’s presence. After all Jinx had done, they still had opened their arms to a trencher, her sister of all, and welcomed her in their family. Vi and Cait excused themselves and stepped on the patio.
‘Please don't get me wrong, Cupcake, it's just… Even after all, I wish I could spend the holidays with her, you know? I already missed so much time and now…’ Vi swallowed and looked up at her taller partner.
‘I can't say I know how you feel… But I think I understand. Christmas is a family holiday and she is your family.’ Cait said. ‘If we just manage to bring her in and get her help, maybe you get to have another chance to see her on holidays‘
‘Think your parents would let me?’
‘They wouldn't be thrilled, but they both know that she needs help and could get better…’
The pull brought her elsewhere. She stood outside a small house that looked on the verge of collapsing. This was one of the worst parts of Zaun, near the Glasc factories. The smog was hard to beat, even for Zaunites.
Inside there was a family of seven. She recognised one of them. It was the girl that had bothered her a few hours ago.
‘Why is it not Christmas now?’ Jinx wondered.
‘Oh, but it is!’ The ghost answered. They are simply too poor to celebrate. Too tired as well, probably. Some of them are working right now, she has 13 siblings. They work in the factories as soon as they walk. They don't know holidays or birthdays. They only know work and sleep.
Pulled again, she stood on the wall above the firelight base. She looked down at the festively decorated tree in the middle, full of colorful baubles and garlands. Down below people were buzzing around. There was food shared with everyone, presents given to friends and family.
She spotted Ekko standing alone at the mural of the lost. He lifted his cup in salute to the painted on faces and drank up.
His voice somehow carried up to them ‘Man, I miss you… All of you…”
The latest pull brought her to the entresol. There they looked into an apartment. It belonged to the blonde woman from earlier.
She had no Christmas tree, there was only a potted plant with one lonely bauble on it. It wasn't even hanging, it was just wedged in between the leaves. The woman sat slumped at a table scattered with books and papers. She looked tired and weary.
‘Why is she all alone?’ Jinx asked the ghost. He seemed to know everything.
‘Her family is in her home country. She can't return because she is a mage and they hunt them down there. Now she needs a device to help her channel her magic because she never learned how to. She wants to do good but is lost in her search. Her hopes were really high, given that she going a place where arcane magic is harnessed and used on the daily’
Jinx chewed on her lip, regretting her harsh behavior.
She was back in her bed. Two down, one to go. This time she didn't fight sleep.
The third ghost didn't speak to her at all.
The pull brought her to the ruins of a house. She looked around, trying to map out the former layout and make sense of the surroundings.
It hit her like a brick. This once was the Kiramman estate.
Jinx heard weeping from behind crumbling remains of a wall and followed the noise.
There on the floor a woman knelt. She looked like Caitlyn, but some years older. She wept and wailed as she held older Vi’s lifeless body.
Tears sprung into Jinx’s eyes. She nearly missed another body, just as lifeless.
It was her own.
The scene made grueling sense now. It looked like she had blewn the house up with Vi and herself in.
‘That can't be right!’ She yelled at the ghost. ‘I’d never hurt Vi! You're a liar, you're trying to trick me! You…’
A booming voice, coming from everywhere at once, silenced her.
‘THIS IS WHAT SHALL BECOME OF YOU IF YOU DON'T STEER FROM THIS PATH THIS INSTANT!’
Jinx woke in a cold sweat. She couldn't remember how she got back, but it had shaken her to her core.Getting up and ready happened in record time.
She grabbed two experimental contraptions and exited her house excitedly.
As hoped, the little girl from yesterday was begging again, in the same place. Jinx approached her and gave one of her contraptions to her.
‘Wait here. When the red light flashes, press the button. You get me?’
The girl nodded confused. When Jinx left she looked after her, too tired to make sense of her. She hopped on the pedestal of the Vander-monument and waited for the light, hoping she wouldn't fall asleep.
The loose cannon was off to Piltover. There she found one of the posh castle-like houses, looking for the biggest dinner table. When deemed found, she broke in and set up her machine. She pushed the button and waited for the little girl to open the portal. When hex blue sparked, she lifted the table On each side to put a small wheeled board under each leg. The moment the portal was ready, she pushed and let the whole feast roll through, right into Zaun. This would feed a lot of people including the girl. Jinx just hoped she had deep pockets to take some home.
Barely waiting for the portal to close the bluenette made a sprint for the entresol, banging on the door of a certain blonde.
When Lux answered, Jinx told her to come to the shop later to measure her magic so she could build a focal device. And if Lux wasn't already perplexed by then, Jinx's request for pen and paper might have done it.
She used the utensils to write a letter to Vi, inviting her to talk. Not to her place, yet, but a shared secret spot of old days.
She sneaked into Vi and Cait's shared room and left the letter visible on a vanity.
When she made it back to Zaun, people were celebrating around Vander's monument, feasting, singing, laughing. There were children who had a full belly for the first time in their lives.
The inventor retrieved her device from the little girl who was happily shoving mashed potatoes in her face.
Jinx helped herself to a handful of grapes and left, silently slinking home.
She did not believe in gods or divine guidance, but she hoped that she'd find something or someone to help her stay on a path away from the future looming over her.
