CC do you think Barbatos is deathly obsessed with anything? Not the obvious stuff like tea or baking, but something silly that only the closest to him know about.

I have this thought because I've been listening to the Hamilton soundtrack all day long and I.LOVE.HAMILTON. I have all the merch, I have the vinyls, I watch it like every other day, etc... and I was like "Barbatos would totally have Hamilton memorized because I'd play it all day long." And then I was like "woah wait, what is Barbatos' Hamilton?"

So yeah I don't have any thoughts so I'm asking for yours bdosndkwnrk2

I have so many ideas about this all of a sudden lol.

At first I thought it'd be cute if he was really obsessed with a cozy mystery series. Like one that takes place in a bakery (there are a lot of those... I love them myself lol). I think he'd appreciate the inclusion of food references, but the main story is this dramatic murder mystery where some uniquely unqualified individual gets sucked in and has to solve it to save their brother's best friend's dog groomer from going to prison!

But then I was like, okay but he would really like dramatic and over-the-top kinda stories and characters because that's so different from how he is, right? So maybe he'd get obsessed with a romance series... and then I was like NO WAIT soap opera... or telenovela!! Like he was in the human world once and ended up watching one 'cause it was on and got so incredibly hooked.

AND THEN that led me into K-dramas 'cause I could just see him watching some of those cute romance K-dramas and getting all teary over them... and THEN I was like hang on. Barb would love K-pop I don't care what anybody says.

THOUGH that does remind me that we have the fact that Barbatos likes heavy metal in canon! So maybe he has a specific Devildom heavy metal band that he's obsessed with. Buys all their merch, goes to all their shows, keeps it all behind a special door in his room that no one knows about because his shrine to heavy metal is a SECRET to all!

MC knows they've fully gained his trust when he shows them his secret heavy metal shrine lkadsfkjlfjkf.

Anyway, people can have more than one obsession, I know I certainly do. So maybe it's a combination of these things! Or perhaps you'll think of other things that you think he'd like!

But personally, I just think it'd be really cute if he got super obsessed with something totally random from the human world. Like now I keep imagining Barb as a BTS stan lolol.

I don't know much about the game (I started playing very, very recently), but I was wondering if I could request any headcannons you have about how the brothers would react to an aroace MC. Like, an MC that genuinely doesn't give a crap about the whole romance thing and just wants to go home to their cats/best friends/whatever. My own favorite is that they're immune to seduction due to the whole ace thing.

(For anyone who doesn't know, aro/aromantic means that the person feels little to no romantic attraction, and ace/asexual means that the person feels little to no sexual attraction.)

Levi's face drains from any colour it had left in it. He panics and looks away from you.

Satan would choose a poetic way of expressing his feelings. Similar to Lucifer he'd pamper you, give you compliments and shower you with affection.

You hear a knock on the door and Satan walks in.

Satan: "Hello, MC. So you want to read together?"

MC: "Sure"

You and Satan walk to the library and you sit on the sofa while Satan looks through the books on the shelf, looking for the right one. After a while he grabs a book and sits particularly close to you.

Satan; "A romance. What do you think?"

MC: "Uhm.. okay.. if that's what you want to read..."

Some time into reading Satan slowly puts his arm around you. Upon feeling his touch you immediately pull away.

MC: "Can we not... You know... Cuddle while we read?"

Satan looks at you with a questioning expression.

Satan: "If that's what you want, MC."

Satan had invited you to a cat cafe and now you were sitting together drinking coffee while playing with the cats.

MC: "You know.. I also have a few cats in the human world... I haven't seen them since I got here..."

After a short while of silence Satan clears his throat.

MC: "I'm... I'm not looking for a relationship. I mean.. I was kidnapped here into a world I have absolutely no acquaintance with. As much as I like the comfort of the Devildom I prefer the comfort of my own home and regular people. Not demons."

Satan: "Homesick?"

MC: "Yes. Something like that."

Satan nods and offers you a faint smile

Satan: "I understand."

Asmodeus

Asmodeus would be all over you, constantly showering you with compliments, touching up his appearance in your presence, and just basking in his own charm. He’d make everything about you and him, as if it were destiny.

Asmodeus: "MC, darling, I was thinking—next time something exciting happens, let me be the one to handle it! I mean, with my beauty, how could anything go wrong?"

MC: "Exciting? Almost getting cursed wasn’t exactly what I had in mind as fun."

I'm pretty reluctant to reveal that part of me to others bc the ppl around who don't really take that stuff seriously or just see it as a nuisance. Aw man, me too. I still remember the first time I really sat down with my mom and discussed my anxiety with her and explaining how getting on medication was helpful. I knew that if I told her when I was younger, she wouldn't have taken it seriously or just hoped it would go away on its own somehow -- it was really up to me to pursue treatment as an adult.

Invisible illnesses can be difficult for others to imagine and understand. It was a little... "easier" for my mom to understand when she saw firsthand before & after of my panic attacks vs management via medication; it sucks that that's what she needed to really be empathetic, but that's how people are sometimes.

Anyway.

Warden: I don't think he'd know what to do...! Deer in the headlights. If MC can muster up the strength to ask him to fetch something, he'll provide it in a heartbeat. Or heck, best case scenario, give him a list of what he can do next time lollll. He wouldn't understand at all, but he'd be caring and want to help.

Griffin: Has a better understanding of anxiety and is interested in discussing preventative measures; how can she ensure MC is able to minimize situations that panic attacks? He'll find all the ways. Healthcare, therapy, all of it will be researched and organized for MC if MC permits it. Griffin will happily make all the phonecalls, too.

Mia: lol she kinda panics in tandem. Er, sympathy panic? Like how someone might experience the same symptoms when their partner is pregnant. 😂😂😂 She'd be Very Worried and checking on MC for the rest of the day, even well afterwards. Particularly loving and coddly once the panic attack has passed.

Dart: He will offer a hug and a calm conversation about how MC is feeling. (It's very nice.)

Jade: As someone with anxiety also, she knows all the anxiety hacks. Want to bite into a lemon? Do breathing exercises together (like in the game)?? Or do a 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique?? She'll find something that works for you.

Okay so, satan/asmo/mc sandwich

u kno what. ur not wrong. Satan and Asmo actually seem to be one of the closer pairs of brothers? Like, if you toss out Beel and Belphie, Satan and Asmo might be the pair that gets along the best. They never seem to argue, always kinda just chiming in (often agreeing with each other) in whatever discussion. It has a lot in common with Satan/MC/Solomon because Satan is again, very genuinely adventurous and open to new things, while Asmo is the resident degenerate who's just always up for everything. Possibly means lots of spitroasting or perhaps, hear me out - one of them goes to town on you in the backdoor while the other licks and sucks you to completion,,, Asmo also probably has a massive collection of toys, too, actually. Like, he lays a ton of them out on his bed for you and him to play with later on that night, and Satan walks in to chat with you about one thing or another and Has Some Question about some of their functionality. The two 100% compare notes about how to turn you on and what seems to get you off the best. Satan might keep an actual notebook. Asmo probably felt left out and started his own. Let's hope you never open that pink 'diary' of his on the shelf called the "secret love book <3" LMAOOO I feel like they could do double dates almost as well as Satan/MC/Solomon, too! Satan can read while Asmo does your nails and his, and Asmo promises to read to him out loud while he gives you and Satan a spa mask treatment~ A nice part is there's a mix of "let's go out and do stuff" and also "we can stay in and do stuff". Satan likes to seek out new experiences, and Asmo is a social butterfly, but they both have hobbies they can enjoy in the comfort of their own home. I think there'd be a lot of balance in this sandwich, because if one of them wanted to go out and you weren't in the mood, you could just hang out with the other. They're both very independent people, and aren't particularly competitive with each other, so saying "I'd rather stay in with X" would turn out just fine. It's really healthy tbh, I don't think either of them would even get salty about it. HOWEVER I will note that I think Satan is the best looking brother. His eyes, the shape of his jawline, the light hair and eyes,,, it all just DOES IT for me, he's so damn beautiful. Asmo might feel some aggravation there.... but I bet he also DOES think Satan is pretty lmao. There's a lot for these two to learn from each other. Like. Look at him. Look at how Satan dresses. In a lot of fanfiction/headcanons MC is shown to be snarky with Rime and you even have the option to taunt him about your relationship with Felix when he first tries to kill you in Felix’s route.

Even though I can imagine I would have less than positive feelings for someone trying to kill me, I think I would still feel bad for a person who had literally been through hell and back and who had returned only to find their lover with someone else.

I think I would try to assure him his friends hadn’t gotten over him, that they had spoken fondly of him and would probably happily take him back if he’d stop soul-stealing.

In future interactions…I think I would try to assure him that Felix didn’t ‘get over’ him just because I had come along. That the way he was acting now: stealing souls, trying to kill people, working with the freaking LoS all made him a far cry from the person Felix had fallen in love with, and it certainly wasn’t just that Rime had become worthless to him or anything. (suddenly realizes one might take offense to that and worries how he’ll react).

I would also try to encourage him to come back with the Starsworn, tell him that maybe his friends will help him and even if they don’t, I will.

So yeah, I’m kinda sensitive, more interested in helping than in banter. Would that make me a wet blanket to him? Or basically, do you have any ideas about how Rime would react to an MC [in Felix’s route] who obviously sympathized with him? Would he be offended by it, not wanting their pity? Would it make him dislike them less? Think they’re less interesting? Etc?

Hi Anon!

Rime is,, a tricky one for me. Part of that is because his character is so radically different between Felix and Sage's route (and he never showed up at all in Anisa's), and part of it is because 9/10 times we see him, he's trying to kill someone.

It sucks that we didn't really get the option to try and reach out to him like this. Maybe a little towards the end of Felix's route, if we're gonna look at it loosely. And then in Sage's route he's just,, like,,, back with the Starsworn for no clear reason. So clearly he's at least open to the idea.

That being said, I think you'd have a lot more luck getting through to him in Sage's route then you would in Felix's. In Sage's route, Felix never ended up accepting Rime's death, Rime never ends up feeling replaced (at least, not in the same way as in Felix's route), etc etc. The main reason he hates us there is because we have the Astrolabe, and you could totally just say something like 'oh the Astrolabe probably just went to me because you were still dead, don't take it personally', and while he'd still be upset he probably would have stopped working with Gramme a lot sooner.

In Felix's route however,,, we see a handful of examples (the most notable being the end of Chapter 13 assuming you were going down that ending) of Rime feeling regretful for the things he's had to do. So I think there's at least a part of him that wasn't corrupted by death/The Void and is still the 'choir boy' that loved his friends and fought for justice. I think that's the part that was most hurt by the Astrolabe rejecting him. It made him feel like he really was evil. But, anyways, genuine sympathy (empathy?) for him would hurt him, at least at first. It would just highlight how good-hearted you are, which is why the Astrolabe chose you and not Rime. Rime might also see it as part of why Felix fell for you, and that hurts him even worse. He would hate you, but he'd hate himself more. It might help him break free of LoS, but I feel like there's a really important piece of the puzzle (about LoS and Rime's partnership) that was going to be revealed in Chapter 14/15 that we'll now presumably never get.

Yeah, I've read about that one! I really wanna get it for myself because Mammon's daughter(and I refuse to call her anything otherwise) is just. Such a good and sweet concept.

I feel like Lucifer was contacting those witches in that 30 min pause--getting them to agree to care for her and all. Probably took a little convincing really.

But yeah those three are extorting him for money via child support basically because he's offered monetary assistance with caring for her and they just. Well you're the avatar of greed and you like your kid don't you? Make it rain on us her. Of course the limosine and jewelery is for her and not for us now bring it to this bar we're partying at. Just. Lmao. He seems suspicious of it but he does want what's best for her so. . .he complies. On the upside, when he visits I'm sure he'd notice if they were mistreating her so I'm sure some of that money is making its way towards giving her a great life. I kinda hope she becomes a witch too just so she can move to the Devildom and get to know Mammon for what he really is, since he has to keep that he's a demon from her and other non-magical humans.

Since that was only about a year ago and I think his fear goes back further than that, plus they're harassing and using him(and thank goodness a year is no time at all for a demon so they won't be able to in uuuh she's like 12 by canon timeline right? So six years-ish if she's lucky enough to be able to stand on her own two feet by then? They won't be able to use her as an excuse to get money from Mammon) not quite traumatizing him to tears I'd say they aren't the cause but. Having to deal with them is definitely not helping matters.

But yeah any trust issues he has with humans may also be their doing(and tbf Solomon did send MC to find out what was happening with Mammon because a friend of his apparently wouldn't tell him, so it kinda makes sense if they'd report back to Solomon. . .plus he's actually doing something great. He may not want it getting out to ither demons because "demons shouldn't be in these situations" or whatever but Solomon's a human so he'd probably get it. At the very least his wry smile tells me he sympathizes some.) He looks suspicious of them but when he questions them they must tell him it's for her and. Well, better to give the money up than to think his kid may not be able to have a good life because of his doubts, right? He can always get more! Surely!

Haaaa Mammon has it so rough lol it's funny but also. I'm glad the game lets us be so nice to him most of the time. He deserves it. Good scenarios: mc meets mammon's daughter and they become friends or they adopt her themself so mammon doesn't have to deal with the witches and/or because they wanna raise a kid [together with Mammon or in general]

(and it sucks that so many witches are portrayed as bad because all the witches I've ever known have been p good people lol but yeah the witches abuse him because he can't fight back without revealing he's not human, which you don't just do unless you're a rookie or a lesser demon. So... this is from the Devilgram "The Escorts", and Lucifer and Satan are surrogate escorts for a really old but highly attractive witch named Maddi that Diavolo refuses to escort.

This comes up when Lucifer warns Satan about her charms, and I can't help stress about what she did to Mammon to make him briefly stop spending money and gave him such horrible nightmares.

I personally don't think Mammon is actually as masochistic as everyone else says he is, so maybe Maddi was too rough with him and it was too much for Mammon? Or maybe he tried robbing her of valuable goods since she's such an aged and famous witch, so she punished him with a spell that caused him severe grief for a while?

Whatever it was she did it must have been awful, and I hope it wasn't anything too forceful or horrible like that.

Okay so I have been calling it the Youtuber Superhero AU (because it started as a fandom au but then i made it an original!!) but I thought maybe it could be "Thicker than Water", since my MC, Leo, is an orphan and he lives alone for most of his life (most of his life lmao at least until canon point? read also: around 9-11 years when in canon he's like 19?) in a remote, lowkey magical place/dimension?, but ultimately he comes back to his hometown and creates a family for himself!!!! i won't give spoilers but, since i already said this, part of his found family is his adoptive dad, an alien who is also a superhero!! If not TtW, I would call it maybe,,,,, Moonstone???? at least the first book!!! (ooh, maybe TtW can be the series name and Moonstone the first book's name?) because Leo kind of gets his powers through a moon stone????? it's not actually moon stone; it was a strange rock he found in the magical dimension that seeked out a champion for the god Huitzilopochtli??? and the closest word Leo could get for it was Moonstone, because of its uhhhhh singular qualities!

OKAY, this is a fun one!!! Leo's hometown is named Star Nova, idk why it just seemed cool, and it is a futuristic city!!! They don't follow capitalism Because I Said So, and they're really into, like, environmental stuff!!! So you'd see SO much flora all over the city kshdsjfh like those???? idk what they're called but like the towns overridden with plants? but controlled!!! There's a tiny percentage of the population (tho I still haven't decided if this is worldwide?? I have a way to make it worldwide but idk) who have superpowers, either due to "individual" factors (e.g Leo's powers are bc of the moonstone, and Matthew(his dad)'s powers are due to him being an alien!) or were affected by a weird experiment an Evil Corporation™ were doing; ECtm was trying out an illegal experiment that could alter living beings' genetics to their will, but it went wrong and their substance exploded and went airborne. Those who were working on it knew about its risks and toxicity, ergo they were wearing a special suit and weren't affected, but the gas contaminated and ??mixed?? with the air and spread to the nearest city, Star Nova (the unofficial capital of the Joint Pacific Nations) and affected a Whole Lot Of People!!! this all happened a while before canon, and the corporation got away with it bc they were filthy rich basically. Anyway, a lot of the people who were affected to the "virus" reacted negatively and died, some were uhhh """immune"""???, and a few Seemed to be immune but had actually had a successful celular-level bonding with the substance! It didn't do anything to them, but their children/grandchildren were born with physical or mental anomalies, also known as super powers (gasps)!!!! BUT!!! a lot of the story happens in the magical city of Coatl (it means serpent!), located within a pocket dimension somewhere inside the Mexican southern forest, where Leo finds himself when he's four years old, recently orphaned, guided by a magical ....bird....being....? he lives there for around eleven years, and he's granted Huitzilopochtli's Champion's power once he's like. Not A Baby lmao. Coatl is.... kind of like,,,,, an Olympus, I guess? Only those with like the destiny to find it know where it is, and they can lead other people there if it's for good causes! It's almost like a sentient city, and the Aztec gods kinda. chilled there???? my theory is that a lot of religious mythologies exist, at least in this universe, and they all co-exist on earth, or pocket dimensions inside of it!!! anyway, Leo lived there and was basically raised by gods???? and an AI???? bc i love AIs???? and uhhhh i think that got away from me ajdhsjdhsj does all of this even count as setting??? am i missing anything????

They Are All A Mess. akfhajfjajfj Matthew would probably become the leader and like. establish order and shit???? but he's also the hugest nerd so he'd just give the leader role to someone else (probably seph staine?) and goes exploring and cataloging shit skfhsjfhdjf Leo is probably the most resourceful one of the bunch, so he would immediately like. start planning for huts and food and stuff???? also idk if they would have their powers in this situation cause it'd be too easy to get them all out of there????? but let's just say they do but the island is inescapable by flight?? he can talk to animals, so he could communicate with the local fauna and like form alliances???? Seph is a good leader, so he'd probably like….. keep everything in check???? and Leo's friends are all good and resourceful, so they'd make a good team!!!! tldr they basically create order immediately and do their best to not struggle??? after a few days/weeks, some of them start to like. break down? but the adults are like. wise and shit??? and i'm pretty sure at least one of them is like a licensed therapist??? so they help each other out uwu

oh!!!! only for a few!!!! Leo and Maeve's birthday is on March 25, Scott's birthday is on August 27, Matthew doesn't really have a birthday??? because time is different in his planet????, Percy and Persephone's birthday is somewhere in November, and uhhhh im p sure that's all i got akfjsjfjsj i suck at birth dates

Leo… doesn't believe in/care for Halloween, as he didn't grow up around it, but it's totally Scott's jam!!! they are dirt poor in a good first half of the book, though, so they can't really dress up :( they met in the library, and after (spoiler alert!!!) scotty's death, Leo feels it appropriate to dress up as Scott's fave characters every year. Percy and Persephone are (very weak) shapeshifters, so their costumes ROCK!!!!! they always do matching costumes, so they get cliché pair costumes!! Matthew….. uh. he is… way too old for that. he was literally alive before Halloween was even a thing, so it's not really his thing. Leah just……. does her own thing??? she can see ghosts, so she sometimes does like historical costumes and stuff with their help!!! and Ben…. oof tbh that depends on what his fave song/album/whatev is at the moment??? he kinda creates like a story/aesthetic for them and dresses up that way!!!!
