It's already have been over a week since ch1 post, huh?

Thank you all so much for kind words about OSC! as this project will be a beginning of my hobbyist 'carrier' (read as: passion project) that will probably take my free time from work whenever I'm not playing video games (I am afflicted by a curse that makes me do 100% achievements) or studying or doing any other passion or hobby projects.

here is a cover page that would have started the au; if not for a surprise that tumblr actually has an image limit of 30! (I got lucky huh?)

Thank you again for supporting me on this journey! Below is just more info and plans and all that, for you who love reading that.

The first chapter changed and grew, firstly from a much different point of origin, having other chapter names and growing from a just 10-15 page chapter to a 30 one, and from planned 1 month to taking 3 months!

So what's next? Well... Chapter 2 which I'll probably not post as a whole chapter, but in parts. It will provide me probably more motivation and you all more frequent posting of story. (if you love getting whole chapter drops, dw, there probably will be chapters that I'd prefer to post as a whole)

I actually have been drawing like crazy and it's just i don't put that work on comic pages. Instead I've put it on sketches based on MD RP with my friends, that I have not posted here, because posting rp stuff without context is like trying to make drone drink water without dying.

What is estimated time of work on chapter 2?

I cannot estimate that, unfortunately. I work when I can, and when my body allows me. And it usually refuses when I want to work on the comic, which frustrates me too often.

Will the au be easily readable???

there is a plan to set-up a master post that will list, (and link to,) all the chapters/parts of them, and it'll be always reachable from any chapter post and from the pinned post. Also each chapter will have standard links for first, prev and next post. This, of course, is for convenience of reading! (fueled by spite to one of my fav au's not doing that bare minimum.)

Most of those skit comics i had to cut because my brain decided they were perfect for the overarching plot so now I basically soft locked myself from making more.

BUT! With more chapters uploaded I'll be free to create more outside of plot OSC au skit comics.

Hello hello!! I come back once more with offerings (fan art) because the thesis is making me want to take my eyes and wash them by hand to see if the dryness passes. ANYWAYS! We are still reading with some friends GHIAB and almost at chapter 89? I kinda got ahead (because my friend who is the one reading kinda nudged me to) and I am waiting so bad to see the other's reactions to chapters 88 and 89, I'm yet to read the last five, but that's because I know the moment I do I won't be focusing on work (which sucks.) I might eventually get to draw things from those chapters (and probably cry and shake like a leaf due to contained excitement)

ASTYFSTYJSVS Okay, no. THIS time I'm going to be a lot more detailed with my praise, because you've outdone yourself again! You've downright SPOILED me- and at a good time too, since I need that sweet, sweet writing fuel. ^_^

First off, The Michael and Ennard comfort picture is absolutely one of my favorites. 🥺 It's hard to make something as rough as Springtrap look vulnerable, but you absolutely nailed it and it's just so sweet- I also really, REALLY love how expressive your Ennard's turn out! There's something so soft here and I think it says so much without having to explain itself about them.

I think this is one of the first, if only pieces I've seen of Moon and Gregory together and it's so perfectly sweet that it's downright mushy! 😊 In a GREAT way!

Speaking of daycare attendants GAHH I was hoping you'd adapt this scene! The Michael and Jake scene! 8D I knew it'd be a hard sell though so I didn't know if you would, BUT YOU HAVE, and it warm the cockles of my heart. ^_^ Need more of these two, I swear-

And THIS scene too! Oooh, you absolutely nailed it! I just don't even- don't even know how to express how much I love this picture. This was one of my favorite scenes to right and you 100% brought it to life 8D I love the detail on how cautious Freddy is to touch the back of his head, as though frozen in place, LOVE IT.

I also love Ennard just yoinking Scott up preparing to run way too much, it gave me the smiles, y'know those kind. XD Your Clownwell pics are always FANTASTIC! And I mean that, like, your Clownwell pieces always immediately make me regret not doing like a spinoff of them- they make me want to write them. I don't know how that works, but I just love how you set them up and draw them- the snapshot poster is absolutely BADASS. And Bonnet is precious 🥺

But speaking of precious, then come the babs- Including Jeremy! I love how soft and approachable he looks. He gives such good 'dad' vibes. ^_^ All of his little dolls look so precious, my God! And this is a small detail, but I love, LOVE Lilium's lily petal skirt! That's such a neat detail!

And then Foxy and Rose are just the cherry on top. 🥺Almost literally if we're going off color! XD You know she loves him and he loves her but he's been a playground for five hours now and he can't sleep or they WILL climb into his suit- spot on!

Mari looks absolutely brilliant! (Because I didn't want to say fantastic again) I love the design and this is an absolutely excellent reference for the coat! Also though, the little smile is so good. 😊

And last but not least, Charlie and Baby skating around together- and not flying down an escalator at rocket speeds this time! Jokes aside though, they look so good- I like how Baby looks so soft here in contrast to the poster where she looked so ominous behind her claw-you nailed the different feel of the situation dead-on! And Charlie looks so cute too, so happy! I love it, you made them look positively adorable together!

I hope this somewhat portrays how much I not only appreciate these, but ravenously ate them up and will now use them to fuel future chapters! ^_^ Whether it be five, fifteen, or one hundred more! I really, truly, absolutely am in debt to you for what you do, because what you make is just brimming GOLD! 💛

2. Haha thanks! Honestly...it's the hyperfixations. I managed to improve a lot in just a year because I've been drawing SO much cos there's so many shows and movies I became obsessed with that I wanted to create art for. So by drawing a lot I just naturally improved. For example these two Illustrations are just a year apart:

I actually didn't actively try to improve, it's been a while since I did proper studies (I just don't really have the time for it between freelancing and art school), it just happened.

But I can absoluetly recommend going on YouTube and look for some art tutorials if you actively want to start improving! There's some channels that helped me so much back then:

And I can also recommend checking out this book by James Gurney if you want to get better at colors!

And for anatomy I highly recommend the Morpho books!

But improvement doesn't only come from drawing a lot. A lot of the time I don't draw for a while and just study the world and artists around me and suddenly I improved when I get back to drawing. Don't ever overwork yourself to the point that you don't enjoy what you do anymore. Take breaks and listen to your body!

I learned to try and not compare myself to other artists, which helped a lot. Through conventions and social media I made so many lovely artist friends and realized how we're all struggling in a very similar way. A lot of us don't even really know what we're doing most of the time, haha. But we help each other out, it's such a wonderful community. I think when you're not actively part of the community it tends to feel like other, more successful artists are some kind of art gods that have perfected the craft and never struggle. But believe me, all the artists you admire go through rough times all. the. time. Sometimes what they do feels easy and natural, other times (more often than not) it feels like you have to try and learn how to walk all over again and you start to doubt your abilities. I personally go through that so many times.

So what I'm trying to say is that instead of comparing yourself to the artists you admire, learn from them instead. Ask questions, befriend fellow artists, study the artists you enjoy and just have fun with it!

I figured out making the content still really isn’t my thing but now I’m at a point where I can engage with the content without having to worry about having a bad reaction to it, and I don’t care what others think of my support of those who do make it.

I am so, so happy that my logs made you want to experience Sk8 though! It really is an amazing show, so short yet so impactful somehow, with so many fun themes about self-worth, self-discovery, the importance of having fun and escapism. It feels like a passion project, a very special little show.

And even though the Langa=Silver question isn’t relevant anymore, I do feel like they are pretty similar. Of course, there are a lot of differences in their circumstances and motivation, but both of them are somehow passive/sleepy sweethearts who don’t seem very emotional but in fact feel very deeply about those who are close to them. Langa is crazier than Silver though lol

Since you consider Vil and Trey to be more strictly gay would their fem versions be more strictly gay too? Are there other people that you wouldn't consider as strictly gay as a guy but would as a girl or vice versa or is it a perfect one to one translation of gayness?

In regards to the girlies, I picture both Vil and Trey as strictly lesbians! And I think I should probably clarify what I mean by “strictly gay” because it’s technically not the most correct way to put it… Sorry for being confusing!

In general, we don’t think about sexualities at all. I say that by default everyone is gay because we just don’t find non-gay relationship all that interesting, even though we would ship absolutely anything that we find interesting and fun (including f/m ships). So the true default state would be like “anything is possible, but we don’t like to think about it”.

When I say that a character is more strictly gay in my head, what I am trying to say is that there are some aspects of gay existence/experience/etc that I feel align with this character quite well. And since we aren’t at all interested in headcanoning sexualities, this is a pretty rare occasions. So my examples are usually Vil and Trey because I just feel like they are the people who would trigger one’s gaydar very obviously based on who they are as people. I hope that makes sense.

Murder Drones Rider Au + Uzi fanart

Or should i say... Murder Drive AU HEHEHEHE

This lovely amalgamation was made by yours truly when putting murder drones and pretty bikes on a blender hoping for something fancy. And i did it.

The mechanics are simple! (Haha get it? Mechanics)

Uzi is a moody mechanic (i will get real tired of the word mechanic and so will you.) Working in your local Auto shop: Copper's 9 ! Owned by daddy dearest Khan Doorman! She mostly does repairs and common car maintenance, aaand if she decides she likes you well enough you'll get some neat modifications for half the price! (Its a lie but only she knows that)

In her free time she stays around the back of the store repairing and selling old cars as a hobby that also doubles as a side hustle.

Her life in home isn't as sweet as she would hope for but she's learned to cope, something that she specializes in after her Moms disappearance; Nori Doorman, presumed dead.

Shes the only occupant of a nice little apartment, moving from their parents house a few years after Nori's disappearance and Khan's neglect. Rarely visited by anyone she stays little time in her apartment, either watching anime after a tiring day, eating lunch, showering after a messy oil spill or just existing after closing hours. Youll definitely see her more at the shop doing gods knows what this time. The reson why Uzi doesn't spend more time in the little home shes built herself is because of the atmosphere, too cold and gloomy for her liking, the barren space reminding her too much of her loneliness.

("She looks soo much like Uzi" you all say in unison.)

Nathaniel, or best known as "N" is a Bike racer, youll see him proudly sporting his various motorcycles all earned by his sweat, hard work, and money from illegal races.

N has and incredible set of bad luck, following him like a stubborn rain cloud with every single bike he touches breaking down at some point. No matter how much he dotes over them or how carefull he is; they will break. And thats a promise from the universe, aparently.

He lives in a fairly big house with his other two roommates: Jay, "J" and Veronica, "V". They all participate in their own races, N and V competing frequently while J sits back and collects their winnings. J also participates in rare ocations.

When N is not flying through the streets, or winning the months rent he resides in his little corner of the garage painting, drawing, scrap booking or doing whatever craft he can get his hands onto.

(I will probably add more on N later on)

N and Uzi meet when Ns bike breaks in "the middle of nowhere" according to V, so he just sits quietly besides the road waiting for either backup (V showing up to rescue him after cackling over the phone and then hanging up) or to simply perish. Uzi was heading to the workshop in Railgun (a very beat up, highly modified but very loved minitruck that she herself constructed from other cars parts) When she came across a very puppy kicked to the side of the road sad looking person laying down besides the road by a very nice looking motorcycle. She slows down to take a quick peek to the bike when the person laying down jumps immediately at her side after noticing her slowing down, begging asking for a ride to the closest Auto shop explaining how his bike broke. Uzi (although very begrudgingly) decides to help this weird friendly stranger as her good deed of the year. She parks to the side of the road helping N heave the bike into the trunk and waits until he hops into the passenger seat to begin their way to Copper's 9.

After Fixing N's bike (and getting a tip she will not complain about) She gives the rundown on what the problem of the bike was and how to avoid it. N thanks her (a little too much if you ask Uzi) and parts ways. Uzi not dwelling about it goes on to the rest of her day, not thinking about seeing N again anytime soon.

Not even a week later N shows up again with another bike, this one looking like it went into the devils asscrack and back. Uzi just gives him a glare and gets to work.

That is NOT the last time that happens. (She counts 12 visits in one month, what the hell N?)

So! This is the basic information about my silly little Au, i don't have a name for it yet, I have been calling it Murder Drive for gits and shiggles but i don't know if I should make it the official name of this Au, if you have any suggestions tell me about it!

And I've been thinking about making it a fic buuut I've never written anything lengthy before, and English is not my first language so you can imagine how I feel.

I wanted to ask, where did you learn how to write? Do you possibly have any advice/tips that you could share?You’ve honestly inspired me to create my own story with my own character but I get pretty overwhelmed when looking at the blank page lol. Like I know what the general idea is that I want to write but I don’t know how to write out the journey from point A to point B if that makes sense 😅

your ask inspired me to go back to my old naruto fanfic from 2011 and pick out some winners. as you can see, i didnt start off as an amazing writer or anything LMAOO. i've always read a LOT ever since i was a kid though, and just like with art, you just kinda learn and get better by doing over and over, and reading and absorbing others writing. (and also thank you!! im happy you enjoy both my art and my fic!!💖😭) but more specifically, like how i think of how i'll fill the page and get from point A to point B...i also dunno? LOL. ive always made comics ever since i was young/made stories in my head, and my whole drive when i write fanfic or even draw fanart is hyperfixation LMAO, so there's something inside of me that's just bursting to get out and i don't even really have to think about it. though i will say, as someone writing a longfic, that hyperfixation can only carry me so far and i HAVE had to stare at a blank word doc and think about how i might get from point A to point B. but honestly something that's helpful is to know which scenes you absolutely WANT/your inspiration for writing the fic/story in the first place, and then try to build off of those scenes. think of what might have led up to them/what you can do to PREVENT them from getting there, to add more sustenance/drama/etc. also, writing advice i saw a while ago that i always think about is 'how can this get any worse?' LOL. so like, if you think the scene is fine and you've added enough events, just for fun, continue to think....ok, but what ELSE could possibly go wrong? its really helped me to flesh out scenes that, in retrospect, would have been way too short and to-the-point otherwise. but again with fanfic, at least for me, a lot of it is just self indulgent/comes down to what *I* want to see bahaha. im my own biggest fan LMAO. everything in my longfic is exactly what *I* like, with all the dynamics *i* enjoy, literally written BY me and FOR me, first and foremost LOL. so maybe start there. just think of all the tropes you like/things you've enjoyed in other media, and think about how you can repurpose them into your own story and setting in an original way! that was super long LMFAO but i hope it may have helped, and ty again for the nice words😭 happy you enjoy what im doing!!💖💖

Hello world and all who inhabit it! (⁠ﾉ⁠◕⁠ヮ⁠◕⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠*⁠.⁠✧. Me again. I finally got around to making my first real post here on Tumblr, and I decided that the first thing I would show would be, well, a little drawing. (⁠✿⁠^⁠‿⁠^⁠).

I don't draw much, though my drawing skills aren't that great anyway, so what I do is limited to a few things and that's it. So you might find my art pretty tacky or even poor, but I always try to put my best foot forward whenever I'm inspired to draw.

Anyway, back to the point, I decided that my first post here on Tumblr would be a drawing of an OC of mine for the Dreamworks Trolls Fandom. I know that my OC will probably be overlooked since, well, she's an OC. If it were a fanart of a canon character someone would definitely care more, but the truth is that when I started drawing Trolls I wanted to practice their basic anatomy, more or less, so I preferred to make someone from scratch than to deform a poor canon character. XD

As far as I present my OC: Blackline Berry Jewels.

Or just Berry, for short. She's a Pop Troll, and her profession is something military-related (I'm still figuring that stuff out). As you might notice from her name and hair, I based her on a Blackberry, and she knows how to use swords as weapons.

And... well, since this is my first post, I'm not going to talk too much about her because you probably won't be interested. (⁠^⁠～⁠^⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ. So, I'll let her reference sheet do the talking. I also apologize for how awful her reference sheet is. (⁠─⁠.⁠─⁠|⁠|). There really wasn't one before this character, so I'm sorry if it looks really stuck or ugly. Maybe I'll get better at it the more I make these character sheets.

This was a very OC-focused year for me, whether it be drawing my OCs or others', which I'm very happy knowing. I've always kinda lamented how I'd gravitate towards fanart rather than developing my own stuff (Ig I still kinda do, considering pretty much all of my OC stuff rn is for fandoms), so it's nice to see me sorta break out of that mold. The tail end of this year unfortunately saw me falling back into that hole a little with my newest fixation, but I'm hoping to crawl back out of it in the upcoming year.

My New Year's resolution this year is to work on more OC stuff. I think this year is a good start for that, but again, I feel like I'm falling back into the fanart only hole + I always feel like I could've done more. I mean, I didn't post any public art for March for example. Anyways, this resolution doesn't just apply to art; I still got TH pages and an OC story to develop, but a lot of it is art-focused since I gotta do stuff like make new renders and ref sheets for my fellas. This would also help me better prepare for Art/Fight, so that's another reason to start focusing more on OC content.

Another resolution of mine this year is to maybe start taking c/mmissi/ns? My family's looking to buy a house soon so we're gonna need all the money we can get. Plus I gotta learn how to be an adult at some point. I doubt taking c/mmissi/s is considered a "real job" by many, but it's still a step in the right direction

Well, that's the end of my little retrospective. I hope everyone had a good year, and may 2025 at the very least suck less than this year.

I think that was a good end. I wish Wash would have actually talked to Tucker, and I'm sad we didn't see Donut and no canon grimmons but that was a long shot. I wish there was a bit more of Tucker as himself, but he's been the main character for a while so it was nice to focus on the others. the actual ending after the fight did feel a little rushed, I would have liked a bit more of Blue team recovering. also is it now just Simmons and Lopez vs Caboose, Tucker, Wash, and Carolina, or are the Freelancers going to leave?

All in all I liked it :) I think the most important thing was the everyone was in character. I know people are going to nitpick it and tear it apart, but it honestly could have been way worse.

Hello! I thought I’d try to test out shorter but more frequent updates re: my upcoming fics. We'll see if I can keep it up. Christ, they were flirting again, in that weird and dramatic fashion of theirs, with Micah still lodged inside Arthur. Arthur snorted in disgust. He would have told them to get a room, hadn't it been for Micah's cock acting like a lock, stretching him even more open as Micah moved his hips in circles, clearly enjoying Dutch's attention. He stilled when the attention was turned towards Arthur instead. 

"Let's not neglect the star of the show." Dutch nodded at him, then looked at Micah with a sly quirk of his lips underneath his moustache.

"Try to give his ass some attention. The boy really likes that."

Slug part 5/5 (RDR, Colm/Micah, biker gang AU-AU, dead dove: do not eat, psychological horror noncon smut with fake aftercare)

"The shirt, now," Colm mumbles. "Put your arms up."

It is one of the strangest moments in Micah's life, being dressed by another man. He's never experienced it before. Maybe as a young child, but his memories from that time are blurred.  As the shirt blocks out his vision, he panics, but he doesn't have the strength to fight back. He sighs in relief as the room returns as his head comes back out of shirt, because he'd expected to vanish into the grayness.

"A little big, but it suits you. Makes your eyes look pale like a corpse's."

Micah flinches as Colm touches his eyelashes, the gentlest touch he's felt in hours, maybe years. He doesn't know why it's so soothing. Colm looks away, breaking the moment, nostrils twitching.

"It really smells nasty in here. Let's get through that door, yeah?"

"The d-door?" Micah stammers, immediately looking towards it. It's closed, just like it was in the beginning, before they wanted to watch. The last time he saw it, the doorway was full of O'Driscolls, smoking and laughing and eating pizza, egging on the men who ...

"You scared? Don't be. Like I said, just do as I say."

Writing/Art Update 10.29.24

It is Tuesday and I am doing my Tuesday update, miracle of miracles!

So, on one hand, I actually did the things I said I was going to do last week! "Getting ready" took a little longer than I expected it to--I didn't finish my re-read until yesterday, but I did finish it, and I have written (drumroll): 1,300 words.

Do not mistake me: I am very excited about my 1,300 words. I finished a scene that had been sitting there, half done, for two years. I had that one and another scene that I wasn't really sure what to do with, because they were both kind of short, but I thought up a third scene I could write and group the three of them together into a chapter, and I did that. I now have 4 drafted chapters and ideas for the next two.

On the less-good hand, I wish I felt better about any of this. Unfortunately, reading the beginning of this fanfic reminded me that the early bits of it were Good, Actually, and I know in my heart that I'm not going to be on that level. ("I’m still me, just a slightly better me. I have a good job and one nice haori and bankai, but the part of me that cares about you hasn’t changed at all."<-how am I supposed to live up to that???) SIGH. Anyway, I'm in this sort of tug of war between trying to think up scenes that are better than the scenes I have in my outline, and just going for it, because sometimes you just gotta write some crap in order to get your head around whatever's going on.

My big complaint with it right now is just that it's boring at a point when I need the story to escalate. It's also turning into a parade of the Best Of Polynya's OCs, which is not a thing I want to do, but at this point, I'm pulling in the greater Kuchiki ecosystem, and it's either that or make up new OCs, which is worse. The nerd squad is back, too, and at least I am happy to spend some time with them again. All I can do is soldier on and hope that it shapes up eventually. They usually do.

I did a few more silly doodles for the Bleach Pilot comic from Celebrate Bleach week. I'm actually extremely happy with how they came out, and when I always complain that I think my art would look better if I left it in a more scribbly style rather than trying to render it, this is what I'm talking about.

Even though it is time-consuming, I'm really glad I've been interested in drawing again lately. I've been doing some stuff for my art club, too, but I do have another fanart that I'd like to do while it's seasonally appropriate.

Guess that's it for now. I have a lot going on over the next week, but I think it's not to ambitious to try to beat this week's wordcount.

Hello Shi-Shi! It definitely has been awhile since I messaged, and I apologize for that, but I’m still alive! I hope you’ve been well and things are going okay for you. Also, I’m unsure if you celebrate it, but Happy Thanksgiving!!

A lot has happened since I last spoke; school has started again, so I’ve been busy with that. In fact, I have a presentation tomorrow, two tests Wednesday, and then I’m off for Peer Mentor camp for three days! Definitely a short school week for me, which I’m quite happy about.

Another reason I haven’t spoken is I was sick for quite a bit, a mix between both a cold and flu at the same time. I’m just starting getting back into the swing of drawing and other things, but I’ve mostly gotten better other than a slight cough.

Fun, exciting news though, is I finally have my road test booked to get my full license! It’s in December so still a month and a bit to go, but it’s great that I finally have that booked, it will be nice to have my license if I pass. Another thing is I’ve started a new job! In a booth as a cook, so we’ll see how that goes.

Now enough about me! I just saw your animation and oh my goodness, I love the detail in it! The backgrounds are so beautiful and the walking looks really good; I also love the detail of when they disappear. I’m unsure of who the characters are, but they look really cool. How long did it take you to make it?

I also like the Angel au piece with Leona, the little smirk they have is like they are going to cause mischief and the wings are absolutely stunning! The snow is also a nice touch, it gives it sort of a mysterious vibe.

I remember seeing your To Be Gentle Optimus art in the server when you posted it! The tiny butterfly and how gentle it seems he’s being with it is definitely a nice way to show how compassionate and gentle Optimus is. Sunstreakers piece is also really stunning, but I might be biased as Sunstreaker is one of my favourite characters haha. The colours really compliment each other and make Sunstreaker glow (the lyrics are also so him, they fit him so well)

I could ramble on and on about all your art pieces, but I have to start on finishing my presentation for tomorrow as it’s still not done. I’ll message when I can and I hope that soon. Have a good day/night Shi-Shi!

I'm sorry to hear about the double-whammy cold and flu combo, but I'm glad that you're feeling better. I've been struggling with seasonal allergies, but otherwise I've been very lucky thus far (fingers crossed that my luck will hold). You've got a lot on your plate again from the sounds of things. I would be rolling over and screeching if I had that much on my agenda, but it also sounds like you have a lot of fun ahead of you(particularly with a short school week hehe).

Congratulations on your road test and new job~ I know you've been looking forward to your license and I am very happy for you that it's happening. I've never worked as a cook before, so I can't offer any insights there, but I'm rooting for you back here!

Now, as far as the animation goes, it took be about a week to do it all, with very long days hehe. I've always respected animators, but now my respect went to an all-time high. The backgrounds were fun to do, I referenced a lot of different name-cards from each region of the game to get them right so it was like an art study. I'm glad you liked the other pieces that I've done as well. The Optimus piece took the longest because it was for a zine project ofc, but the Leona picture took me a long time too. (I'm trying to get better at composition and entailed backgrounds) Sunstreaker is still one of my favorite characters as well, I really enjoyed doing that piece, even though it's relatively simple, because of the colors.

I won't lie, I'm having trouble with fanart at the moment due to persistent AI anxiety and some of the fandoms (not Transformers by any means) I move in have gotten too toxic and I've had to leave. Also life has been very hectic with work and other obligations, so I haven't had as much time to do personal things like drawing as much. BUT I'm doing okay and working on many things to tide me over through the anxiety!

Hello! I'm reading one of your fic's on ao3 and was wondering when it's gonna be updated? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the fic and wanna know how long until we get a new chapter! Love your writing! And I was so happy to see that you gave Mishima such a cool persona! I love the fic so much! I've been ranting to my friends about it nonstop (even though neither of them have ever played the game) but they both sit there and listen nonetheless! (I may even try and convince them to read it! It's a pretty interesting take on the whole game! And the part where Akira is worried that Mishima will have a problem with him being gay and Mishima just like "If I had a problem with it I would've said something back in kamoshida's palace" was amazing! I love everything about it and I can't explain in words just why I love it so much! It's just amazing! If I was better at art I would LOVE to make some fanart of it!!! I mean, I’ve reacted like this to fics I have read before but having it turned into myself is trippy. Like this is some weirdly dream or some shit. Idk man. Shit’s wild.

Every time someone tells me how happy they are about the way I’m treating mishima in my fic I am further convinced that everyone who says he’s a bad character is a fucking coward and if more people would just make Mishima positive content then the fandom would be better off. He does not get enough love and appreciation and I will gladly take on the mantle of Mishima Ambassador. He is my blorbo, my boi, and I love him dearly. He deserves better, both in game and in the fandom, so I just did it myself.

Also, I ain’t about to beg you for fanart because you reading my fic is more than enough already and then you sent me this ask and Ann bear gave me a heart attack from joy, but trust me if you think you’re a bad artist I’ve seen worse. Much, much worse. I took an art class in a very sports heavy highschool and 90% of the kids in there were teenage boys who thought it would be an easy A. The first assignment was to draw a realistic hand. You’d think that they were AI with how bad some of them looked. So yeah, any hypothetical art you make is beautiful to me, especially because I’m fairly sure that if anyone made fanart of my fic I’d cry tears of joy <3

I tried really hard to update every week and I failed miserably, so I’ve made the decision to cut back to every other week. I’m like 85% sure that I’ll get the next chapter up this Sunday. I started my summer classes today and one of them (my English class) is cramming a 14 week course into 4 weeks, but I’ve always been pretty good at English/reading/writing so I’m hoping that that won’t ruin my update schedule AGAIN. I swear I can’t go two weeks without something fucking up my writing/editing time. We’ll see how it goes. I am not sick don’t worry, Just like, super fuckin tired cause my sleep schedule is fucked. I’m pretty good otherwise tho!

Dogsitting went well! I actually finished up with that yesterday. The little demon I was taking care of had absolutely no braincells, and was very annoying, and she kept pooping in my bathroom no matter how often I tried to take her outside to shit, but at least she’s small so it was easy to clean up and she was a good size to cuddle. Overall it was a 5/10 experience that was turned into a 9/10 because of the couple hundred dollar paycheck I got for it. The family I was doing it for is uncomfortably rich lol. Pretty sure some of it is blood money because the dad is an ex-cop turned middle school teacher (neither of which make good money) and the mom is a Russian immigrant stay-at-home mom and they somehow own a huge house in a really nice neighborhood and can afford a two week trip to the Caribbean on that income. I ain’t gonna complain tho.

I’m excited to get chapter 11 written and posted, I think it’s gonna be really fun! Lots of good plot and character development is gonna be happening :) the fic is really picking up now that we’ve finally gotten over all the exposition hurdles. Only took 60k words lol (I swear I thought that it would take half as long as it did to get to this point in the fic, at this rate the things gonna end up 800k words long and I’ll be dead before it’s finished)

13. What's a common writing tip that you almost always follow?

Short sentences are more powerful than long sentences, as are shorter paragraphs. I have a hard time reading huge chunks of information being dumped in the middle of a conversation and then having to go back up and re-read the last part of the conversation because I got so wrapped up in their thoughts. I play things out like I’m watching tv and when I watch tv I’m very guilty of listening more than watching. Words have always been an assault for me, I hear too much in people’s voices and see too much in their eyes, so it’s best to pick one or the other. My writing has unintentionally been affected by that mentality.

17. What do you do when writing becomes difficult? (maybe a lack of inspiration or writers block)

When I have inspiration (and the right playlist) I never let it go to waste, I’m in deep for hours at a time. When I get to the point where I’ve changed a sentence more than three times, I can usually tell I need a break. I like to walk away or work on something else for a bit and come back with fresh eyes. If that doesn't work and I’m still just staring at the screen I'll go watch TV, play video games, or read something that is similar to what I'm working on. If I’m still not feeling it I’ll take a break for a week or so and come back refreshed.

40. If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

I was just thinking about this! I have ideas for Citizen Cold’s new gear and I'm dying for someone who can actually draw to help me bring it to life! I'd also go insane for a drawing of Barry from their first video chat with the 'Team Cold' shirt and the sun bathing him in light. The polaroids as well of course! Oh, it'd be so amazing to see! But wait, look at me, not even thinking about Len at his desk twirling the phone cord! There’s so many good snapshots I can think of in my head, you don’t know how desperate I am to see them in real life.

44. What mistakes do you keep making no matter how many times your beta corrects you? (asked with love, friend!) 😊

Oh God, okay first I want you to know I’m so so so so sorry. It took a lot of courage on my part to even contact you because I know. I know. I’m a mess. You know first hand I need a refresher course in punctuation. I don't know what's wrong with me, the rules just never seem to stick in my head. Every time I think I’ve got it right I’m proven wrong. It’s like high school math all over again. On an average day (not writing) I usually read anywhere from 6 to 10 hours. I should understand better how to properly place a comma or a period. I don’t want to talk about my spelling or vocabulary, so you’re just gonna get another apology. I’m really sorry.

54. What’s your favorite part about the fanfiction writing process?

Getting to share my work with others. 😊 It’s always in the back of my head to find a different hobby besides writing, something more fulfilling, but I think it’s really just the lack of interaction and feedback that fuels those thoughts. I’ve always loved writing. It always makes me happy to see people have commented or just read my work. I’ve posted in other fandoms and have a few fics that have done fairly well, but none of them are very active fandoms nowadays. It’s really nice to know that I’m not the only one who loves writing and reading either. I can connect to people here who share an interest I’m eager to talk about since I don’t really tell anyone about my writing in my personal life.

56. What’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

I like to think I'm pretty good at constructing new worlds and creating something you can really get lost in, but I’m my own worst enemy when it comes to writing. I’ll create whole new worlds with timelines that span hundreds of years and complex characters that you’d just fall in love with then when it’s time to write the story I’ll just…lose interest suddenly and start something else. Posting IWEBTFATFY was a goal I had set for myself in hopes of breaking that recent streak. I’m very happy to have written 78,000 words and not been too scared to post it in fear it wasn’t going to be good enough. I’ve become very invested in this universe and have a lot of hopes for it. With the right motivation and determination I think I could create something incredible.
