As much I absolutely ADORE SOTE I do have criticisms, though fewer than other ppl do. And by that I mean the final boss. I hate it.

I'm not one to complain on difficulty. In fact, I enjoy a certain amount of it. I think Elden Ring is only as difficult as you make it... up to a certain degree. You can use magic and summons to make the game 10x easier, you can farm upgrade materials and get blessing 10 before big bosses apparently.

But... Jesus christ, what is going on with Radahn Σ(´□｀ﾉ)ﾉ ?!

First phase is fine, honestly even enjoyable. But phase two is A NIGHTMARE. And I'm saying this from someone who ENJOYED fighting Malenia for like 6 months straight trying to beat her with no summons ok. Radahn and Miq are the worst thing I've ever fought against in my LIEEEF Σ(＞Д＜)

Strongest armor, upmost damage negation talismans, shield grease for an amazing greatshield, spamming to apply rot, bleed, and frost, and by the time all my summons die there's nothing I can do bc the window to attack is so bad and his attack comboes last FOREVER.

"Oh why r u summoning Ansbach and Thiollier if they make the boss harder" I WANT THEIR ARMOR!! WHY is it a requirement to beat the boss WITH them to get their shit if it makes the boss x4 HARDER!! We could summon Hornsent inside Messmer's arena and Igon inside Bayle's, WHY NOT HERE???

Radahn the squeakquel really is the git gud of dark souls. Time to get stuck in this boss for months

Not a headcanon, but i am actually surprised how there are barely any headcanons about ER especially after the dlc? I was expecting, i would see so many headcanons especially about characters like Miquella or Messmer . it's fromsoft biggest dlc after all, but i guess the lore of it pushed many people away...😿

Actually, me too. I am one of the people who really really dislike the final boss but the DLC has other things to offer... like Marika and Messmer lore, Igon and Bayle, Ymir, Midra etc etc. But I cannot blame people from wanting a break from Elden Ring or Soulsborne in general. I have been into this series since 2017 and while I still adore it deerly, it has become a little stale and I ran away to FF14 to dabble there for a while. I still will post every headcanon that applies to my rules, of course, so keep sending them in. Don't let my FromSoft tiredness make you hesitate sending in stuff.

Tom x Leta would have been a vampire AU in the vein of Only Lovers Left Alive, and in hindsight I think maybe this concept is too extremely sexy. It's probably for the best it fell out of the running.

As 20 marks adulthood for them, their 20th birthday is cause for celebration--Gha’alians do enjoy a good party, let it be known! Much like weddings, birthday parties are usually late at night, loud and silly. For that one, in particular, there is a lot of ‘playful antagonizing’ of the ‘new adult’ trying to get them into fights or convince them to do stunts or what have you bolstered by this idea that they're an adult now and have to, I don’t know, prove it? Essentially by doing things that they wouldn’t have been allowed to/encouraged to as ‘children’--trying to climb on the back of a sleeping wyvern is a popular one and the wyvern keepers really don’t like it. (Gha’alian’s are ridiculous and for a being capable of living hundreds of years is it really any wonder they rarely make it to 100?) 

First/third/fifth birthdays are private and parents try to be there, especially for first and fifth. Then kids get the tenth birthday and that's it till 20. Kid birthdays are generally private affairs and there is still that flavor of using your birthday as an excuse to test your limits, but it’s done in a much more ‘today your dad is gonna show you how to sharpen a sword cuz you’re old enough’ kinda thing, which is expected to be received in excitement (and usually is.) Kids get to wear igon at age five, if they want to~~~

 After 20 they don’t get another proper acknowledgment till they're 50, which is a comparatively subdued affair, usually, a ‘congrats on still being alive’, but if the elf in question is particularly accomplished, especially in war or have had many close calls, this may be a bigger celebration. As then it’s BIG congrats on still being alive. That’s it, until/if they hit 100! Which is a pretty huge deal and it is sort of like the 20th one but you’re expected to have more people; big, big affair where everyone wants a piece of you but everyone is also telling you its great you haven’t died yet.

There’s nothing official after that, but I reckon the really old elves can at that point decide to celebrate if and when they want and people will show up.

As for presents!!

Sometimes people give presents, yes! It’s not something you’re expected to do, but the birthday elf gets presents fairly often nevertheless.

Then I lived with my dad in Heaven for a bit. Though that was the time that things were getting shaky in Heaven, I was still able to use it to my advantage as a kid. I got everything I wanted. I hear as a kid I was quite adorable... I miss those days. I had a room there, in Heaven. A bed, a bunch of toys... And a tree, for some reason. Flax, my Soom Carbon. I got her in a trade for my MNF Juri. Cute doll, no waiting!

Sehti. He's my only 70cm, although Edan is close at 64cm.

All three of my floating heads are for sale, so I no longer consider them part of my brood.
