Don’t have a lot of time for an actual prompt but the scene would be set set in Penacony at a dancing lounge the Blazer duo snuck into for fun cause Firefly wanted to see.

It’s all about the prestine vibe, the aesthetic. High class life never looked so good and fun. Caelus even manages to put his new mixology skills to use as he playfully hams up the bartender act towards the two women who happily play along. Eventually firefly stares at the dozens of dancers, thinking about how she never had the experience to dance so freely.

Stelle catches on and makes the girl bashful by offering a dance and Caelus hypes up the idea. Things get a little cheeky though when Stelle playfully comments how Caelus would trip over his own feet in comparison to her. To which he says “I’m only not joining because it’s rude for a wingman to steal the show, and that he was giving Stelle some needed help.��

The two banter back in forth a bit before Firefly unexpectedly chimes in, confessing that she actually really wanted to dance with both of them. Without another word, the two look at each other briefly before smiling. Stelle takes Caelus’s hand as he hops over the countertop to take Firefly’s right while Stelle grabs the left. The three make their way to the open dance floor and share an actual happy and calm moment on this so called “vacation.”

I feel a bit annoyed by people saying Firefly is the star rail version of Kallen. As a fan of both characters I feel they got next to nothing in common whatsoever. They dont look similar, they arnt similar people, they dont have similar backgrounds or motives... there is just nothing really. It feels like reducing them to Stelle/Caelus girlfriend (this one is supported by the story but I feel like much of what makes Firefly and this ship interesting gets overlooked, admittedly some of it assumes the theory about Firefly being SAM is true and some lore knowledge about SAM but even without taking that into account Firefly is a great character in her own right) and Otto´s girlfriend (which, as a huge Otto fan, I will say, of course has its own issues and I do not like the romantic interpretation with them, the previous era versions of them are different people and dont count for this imo and there is no evidence at all Kallen of the current era was into Otto and also Kolosten heavily suggests it wasnt even a romance thing for Otto either) I highly recommend people read the prequel comic focused on Kallen, its when Kallen is younger then when we see her in flashbacks, set before meeting Sakura (i highly recommend also checking out that whole story at some point even if it can be a bit awkwardly time gated in game and slightly confusing) in HI3 so her personality/demeanor is a bit different from how she was by then (she is a lot more naive for one) but I think its still a good introduction to see why Kallen is a good character and a good showcase of how she isnt like Firefly at all and doesnt require sitting trough all of Kolosten and several side stuff in game to get to, so its a convenient starting place to see if you want to see more about Kallen. Which I hope anyone reading this ends up wanting to but even if not thats fine and is why I recommend starting here since its an easy read with very nice art and a fairly self contained story. Also if you dont play HI3 and am just curious on Kallen because of what other people are saying. Firefly I dont wanna go too deep into character analysis here cause some of it relies heavily on an unproven theory, ill probably write about her more later though. But either way I feel like she is a very well written character, her desire to indulge in some escapism to get a break from her harsh reality with her terminal illness, her determination to find the watchmaker´s legacy despite the risk, her clearly having gotten a lot of experience dealing with dangerous situations despite seemingly wanting to just live a normal happy life, she hasnt been in the game very long (yet, the boss that "killed" her whole gimmick is that you can free the souls it claims so im not so sure she is actually gone, also you can see a Firefly leave her body before she dissolves shortly before Sam shows up...) but she is already very strongly characterized even with her limited screentime. If the theory that she is Sam is also true then it would add an extra layer to her closeness with Stelle in that some lore about Sam suggests Sam was artifically created for the purpose of fighting against the swarm, so she likely would relate to Stelle on account of the whole... being made to fullfill a purpose thing. As a stellaron hunter in this case she would also know about that quite likely so I like the theory. Idunno I just feel frustrated how characters often feel like they get boiled down to just their archetype or role (and sometimes not even any of those but just completely unrecognizable) when they are actually very interesting and well written characters. I want people to appreciate the writing that went into these amazing characters, not just these two but also many other examples but I wont ramble on here. So I strongly recommend people read more about them if at all curious, altough be careful since there are tons of leaks and spoilers in general going around regarding anything Penacony related, so with Firefly it might be best to wait a bit if spoilers are a concern.

i just saw your latest honkai post and finally figured it's time to ask you something: who are your favorite honkai & genshin characters? fav characters per game, fav male characters, fav female characters and all of that?

i don't even play those two games (i wanna play honkai so badly but my pc is weak and can't handle any game that isn't a visual novel :') but i still know some characters and feel like i'd love them if i were to play the game

If you only can play visual novels in your pc I can recomend you the one i just started to play! Its called Reverse: 1999, is also a gacha game, is a visual novel but has a combat that is turn based with cards! I think it wont cause troubles to you pc!! If you can play it dont forget to tell me <3

I haven't play Genshin in a while because i felt a little tired and I don't really like the combat based on elental reactions buuuut I love the characters <3333

I guess that male characters from Genshin my favorites come from Fontaine, I totally love Lyney, Freminet and Neuvillete, the three of them are completely diferent from each other but I completely love them!!! Also, i love Wriothesley gameplay, the man literally said Nah i'd win and start punching the enemies with a bare fist, I also totally love and hate Zhongli (stupid old man I love him), Bennet, Razor, Gaming, Gorou and Freminet are my babies and I will protect them with my life <333 and I loooooove Venti's gameplay, he may not be the best by now but I just love him too much <333

And for female characters I hold a really close to my heart Rosario and Kuki Shinobu since they were some of my first characters and helped me a lot!! I love Beidou and Kuki because they are so cool and badass and stronge and girls and pretty and and 😳😳 okay okay, for being extremely cute I love Noelle, Barbara and Lynette, they are so cute, but if we talk about cuteness Nahida and YaoYao are my cutie babies <3333 also, i loooooove Fischl and Furina for their personality, I used to dont like them at all but I end up loving them so much

Okay okay, now with my favorite characters I want to make a special mention to the MC, it doesn't matter if you choose Caelus or Stelle, both can be incredibly silly and badass (i still dont get over the scene when Ruan Mei's creation use their voice and start crying)

Im focusing now! If we talk about male characters the first ones who comes to my mind are Boothill, Aventurine and Argenti like, i cried for them and I want to protect them but im so down bad for them too , seriously i just want to give them a hug <333 and marry them and make them my male wife I also love Dan Heng and Welt Yang but in a calmer way, like I will love to have them in my live and have a soft fluff romance, I love Sampo because he is funny, like can we be a menance to society together? Please? Also, Misha is my baby, he will always live on my heart, im crying im not saying more

Nooooow with the ladies, my dear female characters <333 first of all Firefly, she is the lady that will always live in my heart (i know she is perfectly fine and happy but im still crying for her), Topaz (and conty), Robin, Serval, Tingyun and Ruan Mei lives in my heart and mind free rent, they are so cute, and beautiful and powerful <33 I also love March with all my heart because she is a cutie patootie but in a calmer way too, and, of course, I will love to be a meneance to society with Guinainfei, Bailu and Qingque, Huohuo and Clara are my babies

Enstars x Genshin au? Nah. How about

Enstars x Honkai: Star Rail au

I’ve just got rambles cause yeah I wanted to draw the designs but adhd brain hit like a freight train “oh I wanna draw this design” “n o.”

Anyways yeah just just rambles

How I’ll do this is “Enstars character takes Star Rail characters General role, however I’ll give them wiggle room and they keep their personalities, maybe even tweak their backstories”

So generally ALKALOID takes the Nameless/Trailblazers roles,

Hiiro takes Dan Heng’s role, however he’s not exiled for a past life’s actions, rather he “ran” from home and joined the Trailblazers to find his oldest brother (Rinne, who doesn’t technically take a role, I mean right now you could say in a way he takes a combo of Bailu’s and Dan Heng’s as well if you really want but yeah he’s pretty much role-less, free from the binds of the story) who was supposed to be the next Vidyadhara High Elder but ran away across the galaxy for unknown reasons

Also I say “Oldest brother” because I know in canon Rinne is Hiiro’s only brother, but in this au I’m gonna do a funny thing and make Luka be their middle child brother in the au because come on look at them, which means (besides NPC’s) he’s gonna be one of the few un-booted-out-for-Enstars-characters-to-steal their-lives-characters who just vibe for an epic crossover

Also yes this means Vidyadhara Rinnie, Luka And Hiiro

Or Luka is just adopted-💥

Then there’s going to be Mayoi as the MC, well, technically, he doesn’t take the Protagonist role in this au, Hiiro does still, So like. Imagine if Dan Heng was the protagonist/MC of H:SR instead like does that make sense?

I also think Mayoi would die if he was given the Main Protagonist role- Anyways why am I giving him a side protagonist version of Caelus/Stelle? Well one: he was my first favorite in Enstars, ever, and two: anxious wall gremlin is a very good stand in for feral raccoon (wo)man

And yes this means he’s now an artificial human with a stellaron inside him and could explode at any second

I also had the idea of Aria as March 7th, I…Don’t have anything for that except how they just make me think of the other, so that’s not really in stone

And Akiomi as Welt, just cause why not

Madara and Kohaku take Clara and Svarog‘s roles, (Madara Svarog and Kohaku Clara to get specific)

Kohaku taking Clara’s role if she had a big fucking gun/hj

For this au instead of Kohaku being a shy little orphan like Clara, he’s just a random teen that ran away, found Madara and they ended up as friends somehow, but technically Kohaku is in Clara’s role here, like just

“Yeah I found this big fucking motorcycle transformer cowboy thing and it’s my mom friend now”

Also I’m changing the type of Robot Madara is, instead of being the giant robot Svarog originally is, he’s now a transformer that turns into a motorcycle, because why the fuck not, it doesn’t matter as long as he has Svarog’s capabilities as well

HiMERU takes Tingyun’s role (starts slowly descending away, evil cackling in knowing both Enstars and Star Rail lore as I refuse to elaborate, but if you play both games like me we can evil laugh/cry together :))

Jin takes Jing Yuan’s role, why? *drops a second infodump*

It’s literally perfect to me, first of all, they’re both eepy old men who have the :3/=w= faces

Also I say “Old” but if Jing Yuan aged normally and wasn’t immortal he’d probably be like 40’s and Jin is 30’s, and I don’t think that’s actually old I just say old cause they both call themselves old at at least some point and the entire fandom and their mothers call Jing Yuan old/hj

They’ve also got a few similarities:

They both took paths their parents didn’t want them to (Jing Yuan being with the Cloud Knights when his parents wished for him to inherit the mantle of a scholar or official at the Realm-Keeping Commission and Jin being an Idol, when his parents wanted him to be a Doctor),

-They both lost one’s close to them (Jing Yuan losing his mentor (who is still alive but eehhhshshs he technically lost her-) and old friendships, Jin meanwhile lost his whole ass older brother)

-Both seem lazy but whenever it’s the right situation (For Jing Yuan it’s literally any situation where he’d absolutely need to take action, for Jin it’s his students in danger) Shit gets real

Also I just really want a situation where he’s constantly sleeping on the desk while Mayoi, Aria* and Akiomi* are just staring at him like “:/ are you sure this is the real general??? Are you sure this isn’t just a random lost guy?????” Maybe even finding him sleeping while standing up in hologram form

(*swaps aren’t in stone but what I’m going with rn)
