Erm, oc comic? Just click on the images idk how to change the image position formatting here yet :(
This is what I've been doing all this time, I need to practice putting these things together. I like some things and had fun, but it also looks kind of yucky.
Oh well
Featured here are Rinshi, a muttreazik, and their boss/sister Maro, a Sundyne who's been (violently) ousted from her extremely politically important clan (for terrorism and attempted assassination :D )
The two are hiding from authorities in the SEZ, and not having a great time in general.
Here's a buncha other info, aka i want to talk about my wretched ocs :
-Rinshi is a mancer, meaning they're a muttreazik with a degree of control over matter around them (think telekinesis). Their blue eyes aren't the result of my choice of coloring, thats the color they are all the time (a highly highly unusual color for muttreazik, even in the 'other' color category).
Rinshi is also a 'they' in the same way you'd call an animal an 'it' rather than a 'he' or 'she' if that makes sense. They don't think of themself as nonbibary in the human sense, instead it's more of an "outside of the binary and therefore a nonperson" way that Cerest use for xenos. It's the only option that's not male/female/he/she that they're aware of in this point in their life
Maro is a she (and VERY upset that it means she can't ascend to God emperor)
Rinshi is hunting with a nail that they’re controlling with their mind because that’s a lot easier than chasing down the alien rats yourself.
Normally this would be very easy for them but they’re kind of going through it right now, thus the major space-out and eye-bleed at the end (which normally happens to mancers who either overextend themselves or try to do stuff without any energy support from the body)
Not all Cerest-homeplanet animals have a decentralized nervous system like Cerest themselves do (such as these two animals, who have all their thinking meat in their head), but either way a shard of metal through the face isn’t good for anything
There are pockets of Cerest wildlife in the SEZ if you look for them hard enough, which Rinshi has to do because they’re currently in the outer reaches of it away from any inhabited districts where you could just buy/steal meat products. They're spending a considerable amount of time doing this since they're trying to keep a large hypercarnivore alive right now.
Maro got her face and torso cut up pretty bad during her.uh. Incident. Luckily Cerest heal fast, though infection and only eating rats has complicated and prolonged things. They’re currently living in an old habitat pod, which she can hardly leave thanks to the healing process (which has left her pretty much unable to walk. If she could, she'd definitely be the one doing the hunting because she has fewer qualms about killing things than rinshi does.)
This conversation is pretty out of character for her, but like she said, it's boring spending most of your time asleep in a garbage heap rather than pursuing your ambitions of ruling the world. Thankfully, she can always just ask her trusty retainer about things they don’t want to talk about.
‘et kerusit’ is just the Cerest version of like ‘my liege’ but specifically in the Sundyne female context and specifically for someone in Maro’s (former) rank/position in her (former) clan. "Princess" is also a pretty close analog but neither really sounded right so I made up some words. "Retainer” is the closest word I could find for what Rinshi is to Maro, and it fits fairly well (there is probably a better word out there but i like the old-timey knight vibe) they were originally employed to her clan as basically her little assistant and mandatory friend/bodygaurd/ally/etc. This happened mostly as an insult to her because that role should normally fall to a fellow sundyne and not a 'lesser species', but she has made it work.
I'm still testing this out but the Cerest language conventions are also why the question marks are out front most of the time, they don't change tone to indicate a question and instead just say an "I'm asking you a question" word at the start.
Rinshi also has a sort of stutter no matter what language they're speaking, with different words and sounds causing prolongations or repetitions. They didn't have any kind of support for the issue growing up, so theyre not great at managing it. So that's why some of their words are like that
The aforementioned rank difference is also why Maro gets 2 << instead of 1 when speaking (she's using a different enunciation of words to indicate her status, as is Rinshi. Basically ï for royalty i for commoner, or something. If they were speaking a Drecu dialect rather than a Sundyne one, their words would be in these things -> [[ ) .
As I’ve mentioned up there, they see each other more like siblings in their own mini clan (but she definitely calls the shots in their relationship )
Muttreazik think rebirth is real and they’re kind of right (at least within their own species). Rinshi does NOT want to dwell on where they used to live but those ideas were drilled in at a very young age.

say goodbye like you mean it | pt. one
Tumblr media
dr. robby x f!charge nurse!oc content: 18+ mdni, swearing, vague age gap (oc mid to late thirties) words: 4.5k PART TWO | PART THREE | PART FOUR synopsis: dana is serious about leaving, at least for a while. her replacement is bright eyed, bushy tailed, and determined to impress robby and robby is less than thrilled... but can't help but be impressed. as well as a little infatuated. a/n: this is my first fic for the pitt! idk how many parts this will be yet, but pls let me know your thoughts
“And there’s nothing I can do to convince you that this is a mistake?” Dr. Robby was looking at Dana with the softest, pleading eyes he could muster.
But Dana only smiled and shook her head, “Would you give the kid a chance first? It’s only a trial and I’ll be here the first few days and train her, alright? I vetted her myself. She was charge nurse in her own ER in Manhattan. During Covid.” She added for emphasis.
“Huh, no shit.” Robby rubbed at his beard, “How old is she?”
Dana shrugged, “I’m not sure, somewhere in her thirties?”
Just then, the doors of the ER opened and the new charge nurse walked in, securing her hair with a claw clip as she walked toward the hub.
“Here she comes,” Dana said and elbowed Robby in the side, “Be nice, please.”
“Sweetheart!” Dana said as she approached and a smile lit up her face. “Welcome, thank you for coming in.”
“Of course,” She said, looking around the already chaotic ER, “I’m eager to get my hands dirty.”
“There will be no shortage of that, I can assure you.” Robby interjected.
Finally, her eyes fell on him and her smile widened, “You must be Dr. Robby. Dana told me all about you. It’s nice to put a face to the name,” She held out a hand, “Gwen Keating.”
He took her outstretched hand in his, “Good to meet you too. Though, I don’t envy you, you have big shoes to fill,” He dropped her hand, “I’m still trying to convince Dana to stay.”
Dana glared at Robby, “I told you to behave.”
“Gwen” Robby continued, ignoring Dana, “Dana tells me you were charge nurse at a hospital in Manhattan during the pandemic. Which one?”
Her face falls marginally, “New York Presbyterian.” She says softly.
The words hit him in the chest, “My God,” He shakes his head, “You guys were basically ground zero. We learned how to use one ventilator to treat two patients from you.”
Gwen looks down at her hands which he notices are now pulling at cuticles around her nail bed, “Yeah.” She says eventually, “It was a fucking nightmare and we adapted as quickly as we could.” Then she winces, “Sorry. Shouldn’t curse on my first day.”
“Don’t sweat it, kid,” Dana said, putting an arm around her shoulders, “The pandemic was a motherfucker for all of us.”
She gives Dana a sad smile and leans into her embrace.
Robby hates that Dana is leaving. Hates it so much, in fact, he had thought about putting in his two weeks several times. But each time he had faltered. And now Gwen was here, by all accounts looking like a goddamn angel, and he thought maybe everything would be okay after all.
Robby and Dana give her the grand tour, introducing her to everyone. She’s quick to learn names and she takes diligent notes. Though she’s a trained nurse and not a doctor, Robby learns quickly that being charge nurse during covid had many doctors giving her a lot of leeway.
“We were constantly short staffed with doctors and nurses getting sick,” She shrugged, “It wasn’t uncommon for a doctor to be on speaker phone, sick at home, walking me through an intubation or a chest tube. But don’t worry,” Gwen said quickly at the look of alarm on Robby’s face, “That part of my life is over. Thankfully.”
Before he can comment, a lower abdominal GSW is rolling in and the three of them are immediately gloving up, following the gurney into trauma three.
Robby calls for Collins and Whitaker who trailed behind.
Giving the case to Collins, his eyes focus on Gwen as she reads vitals, jumps in when needed, and delegates tasks to other nurses with ease as things get more tricky. She has tools and meds ready before Collins can even ask, already anticipating how she would want to treat.
When the patient is stable and headed to an OR, Gwen degloves and walkd back over to Robby, looking a bit smug.
“So, did I pass?” She asks. Dana is grinning at Robby from behind her back.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
She smirks, “So you weren’t evaluating me?”
“The person you should be trying to impress is Dana, not me.”
She scoffs, “Please. Dana is already impressed. I know it’s your approval I need to work here.”
He turns his attention from Collins to Gwen, eyes rolling carefully over her face. He is impressed. Thoroughly. But he doesn’t want her to know that yet.
“Have you ever thought about going to med school?”
“Oh, bite your tongue!” Dana snaps, “We need more nurses, not doctors.”
She laughs, and turns back to Robby, “I did, yeah. Before covid.” Again, he notices the way her face falls just slightly at the recollection of the pandemic, “But I decided I like it better in the background. As charge nurse, especially, I like all the admin work. I love working with patients, but I love taking care of my nurses and doctors more, I think. Is that awful?”
Robby’s shaking his head, “No. That’s exactly what we need from a charge nurse. A mother hen, right Dana?”
Dana had her arms around Gwen’s shoulders again as she laughed, “Isn’t she just the best?”
Robby rolled his eyes and began to walk away, “You haven’t passed yet.” He called over his shoulder.
“What?”
“We’ll see if you survive to the end of the shift.”
She laughed, “I do love a challenge.”
“Good,” Robby called back, “Because I’m very difficult to impress.”
Mateo was standing next to Dana at the hub, both of them intently watching Gwen and Robby, “I gotta hand it to you, Dana,” Mateo said as he took a bite of a sandwich from the patient bin, “You’re good. Not only have you given Robby a perfect replacement, you’re also getting him laid.”
Mateo offered Dana a fist, which Dana bumped while smiling, “Robby should be kissing my feet in thanks.”
The rest of the shift flew by with little incident. Things ran smoothly with Gwen behind the wheel. She had questions for Dana every now and then, but she was a fast learner and by the fourth hour, Dana hardly needed to do anything. She had Dana’s respect, and so she had the nurses’ respect as well. The doctors? Well, they looked to Robby first and he hadn’t yet decided how he felt about her. Though, it was clear the two of them worked well together almost immediately. And it was very clear that they had become a team when the reports of ICE being in the area started rolling in.
“What are you hearing?” Robby walked up to the hub, a bunch of nurses were around the desk, around Gwen, their phones out and scrolling.
“Reports of ICE vans in the area,” She said, looking at her own phone, “Rumors they plan to stop here.”
Robby nodded, “What do you want to do?”
Both Gwen and Dana’s eyes snapped to Robby in surprise, “You’re asking me?” She said slowly.
“Yeah. Surely you went through this sort of thing in New York. What’s the protocol?”
She stared at him for only a moment before she jumped into action, “Nurses, everyone is on a patient until I say otherwise. I’m going to do everything I can to make sure ICE does not get in here, but if they do, being in a hospital means these people are protected by the law. If it comes to it, make sure the patients know that. They do not have to speak to the officers without a lawyer. They do not have to leave with ICE unless they have a warrant signed by a judge. If that is the case, I will confirm the legitimacy of the warrant.
We do not leave a single patient unattended until we’re sure no one is coming. I know there are more patients than there are nurses, assign yourselves no more than three patients that you can cycle through every thirty seconds. No one unattended more than thirty seconds, unless a medical emergency dictates otherwise. I trust you all to make sure every patient is covered, make sure you’re communicating with each other. Doctors, if you notice a patient doesn’t have a nurse, let me know and I will assign them one. You can explain to the patients why you’re there if you like, but do not pressure anyone to reveal their citizenship status to you. It’s better we don’t know anyway. Is Ahmad around?”
“Present.” Ahmad strolls up to the hub, hands on his belt.
“Can security make sure every entrance to the ER has at least one man watching it? If ICE shows up, do not let them in, call me. I will come out to meet them.”
Ahmad looked to Robby who nodded, and then looked back to Gwen, “Roger,” he said and headed for the ambulance bay.
“Any questions?” She asked the medical professionals that encircled her, but she’s met with only silence.
“Alright everyone, you’ve got your marching orders,” Robby said, “Back to work.”
While a nurse caught Gwen in conversation, Robby watched her and Dana sidled up to him, “You know, the sky won’t fall if you admit you like her.”
Robby just glared at her before heading in the direction of Whitaker, who was flagging him down to a patient’s bed.
It was true, he was really starting to warm to Gwen. Sure, it had only been half a shift, but things in the ED moved quickly and everyone worked in close quarters which meant he didn’t need long at all to get a sense of someone. And she was the real deal, that much was clear.
It was only thirty minutes before Ahmad was paging Gwen that ICE was in the ambulance bay.
“Do you want me to come with you?”
She spun to see Robby just behind her. She had gotten used to his proximity in the first half of the shift, in fact, she was beginning to find his constant presence comforting.
“Only if you want to,” She said slowly, “Well… Yes, actually, if you don’t mind. I find they respond better to male authority figures.”
“Okay,” He started following her towards the exit, “But you take lead?”
She nods, “Of course. Thank you.”
“Officers, I’m the charge nurse here, this is Dr. Robinavitch, our senior physician. How can we help you?”
There were three men in street clothes, the tallest one in front stepped forward, “We have a warrant for a patient here, we need to be allowed inside to take them.”
“Okay, I need to see some ID and the warrant before I can let you inside.”
“We have a warrant. Let us inside now and we’ll be out of your hair.”
“I’m sorry, sir, I cannot let you inside without seeing the warrant myself first as well as some ID.”
The man made a big show of huffing and puffing before retrieving a warrant from his pocket. Gwen was conscious of Robby just behind her, shifting his weight from foot to foot. She let her shoulders drop remembering he was there. She had just met him, but felt already that she could trust him to have her back. It had been a long time since she had had that sort of rapport with a colleague, let alone a superior.
He handed the paper over and before she had time to read it, was already trying to shove past her.
“Excuse me—!” She scoffed and tried to shove him back, “Ahmad?”
Ahmad was immediately there, shoving the man back. “I gave you the warrant, let’s go!” The man snarled.
Gwen glared and took her time unfolding the piece of paper he gave her and scanning it. It took her only a moment to recognize it wasn’t a proper warrant, “I’m sorry, sir, but I can’t let you in with this. Please come back when you have a warrant signed by a judge.”
She turned to leave, ignoring the man’s calls behind her. She doesn’t see what happens next, but very quickly, Robby has put himself between her and the ICE officer.
“You touch my nurse.” He said lowly, dangerously, “And we’re going to have bigger issues. If you want access to our department, you need a warrant signed by a judge, that is the law. Not a piece of paper signed by one of your own. Until then, get off the property or we call the police.”
“Hey man,” The officer backed off almost immediately, “We don’t want any trouble.”
Gwen rolls her eyes and walks away, thoroughly annoyed, “Asshole.” She mumbles under her breath.
Soon, Robby is jogging to her side, “Are you okay?”
“Fine.” She says, “Did he lunge at me?”
He hesitates, “Yes, but Ahmad and I wouldn’t have let him touch you.”
She almost smirks, “Are you worried I’m going to get scared and bolt?”
“What?” He says quickly, too quickly, “No. No.” He said firmly, “Just making sure you’re okay.”
“Well, Dr. Robby, it’ll take a lot more than a disgruntled ICE officer to get me out of your ER.”
He smiles at her, for the first time, and it sends a flutter to her chest. He had such kind, warm eyes.
“I’ll just have to try harder then, I guess.”
She smirked as they both walked back into central, “Come on, don’t you know a lost cause when you see one?”
He smiles, but grows serious again, “Are you sure you’re okay?” He asks quietly, “If you need a break or anything, I would encourage you to do so.”
Gwen shakes her head, “I’m sure you know the rate of assault on nurses?” He nodded, looking down at the ground, “Believe me when I say I’ve had much worse than an attempted hair pull. But I appreciate your concern, truly. It’s… not common in my experience for doctors to treat their nurses with the attention and care you do. To treat the nurses as equals. It doesn’t go unnoticed.” She squeezed his arm and headed back to the hub, announcing to everyone to resume care as normal.
“So,” Robby didn’t hear Collins until she was already next to him, “The new Dana’s pretty badass, don’t you think?”
“Don’t call her that.”
Collins smirked and followed after Robby when he tried to walk away, “Come on, Robby. We’ve all been watching you flirt all shift. Just admit that you like her.”
He sits at his workspace and puts his glasses on, “Did Dana put you up to this?”
“She didn’t have to. It’s more and more obvious by the second.”
Robby sighed and rubbed at his eyes, “Don’t you have patients?”
Collins rolled her eyes, but walked away without another word. In her absence, Robby’s eyes seemed naturally drawn to Gwen. The phone was pressed to her ear, but with the chaos of the ER, he couldn’t hear who she was talking to or what she was saying. While on the phone, she directed some nurses and respiratory therapists looking for patients and supplies. It was uncanny to him how fast she came up to speed, but he supposed spending years in Manhattan would do that. Maybe his ER was a cake walk to her.
Beyond his fascination with Gwen’s professional capabilities, he would be lying if he said he didn’t find her unnervingly attractive. He knew Abbott would be egging him on if he were here, practically begging him to ask her out. If you don’t, I will. He could hear him say. And he couldn’t allow that. He would ask her out for a beer later, he decided. It wasn’t like him to move this fast, to acknowledge his feelings so quickly. More than likely she had someone waiting at home for her anyway. She would let him down gently, professionally, and then he could put this ridiculous pining behind him before it had a chance to really take root. It was genius, really.
Just three hours of the shift left before he could put it to rest.
***
7:17 PM
“Well.” Gwen was standing in front of Robby as he was finishing up charting, hands clasped behind her back and rocking on her heels like a little kid. He had been watching her, so he knew she had already done her rounds with the night shift charge nurse. She had sent Dana home an hour early, insisting she could handle it solo. Dana had given Robby the I told you so look before leaving.
“Well, what?” He asked, not looking up from his chart.
“Are you impressed? Did I pass?”
He took a deep breath before meeting her eyes. She was flushed and sweating a little from the exertion of the shift. Strands of hair had freed themselves from her claw clip and either stuck to her face or hung loosely around it. Robby thought he might be more attracted to her now than he was a few hours ago.
“You did good, but it’s a long way before I’m impressed.”
She shrugged, “That’s fine, I’m very patient.”
He smiled and rubbed at his beard, “Would you… want to grab a beer with me?”
She blinked, raising her eyebrows in surprise. Here we go, Robby thought to himself and braced himself for the rejection.
“I thought you didn’t like me.”
He frowned, “I never said that.”
Gwen’s eyes narrow as she scrutinizes him and he feels himself beginning to sweat under the weight of her gaze. He wanted her to get it over with, to rip the bandaid, to say no so he could go home and drink alone in front of the TV.
But she didn’t do that.
“Yeah, okay.” She said finally.
“Y-Yeah?” He asked, mostly to confirm that he had heard correctly, “No… significant other or family waiting for you at home?”
She smiled, but it didn’t reach her eyes, “Nope. You?”
He couldn’t believe it. How was it that she was all alone? “Not a soul.”
“Ok, well, I’ll meet you in the ambulance bay in five?”
He nodded, still feeling a bit in shock, “Yeah, sure.”
When she walked away, he watched her hips sway and knew he was in deep shit.
There was a familiar whistle and then a hand on his shoulder, “Nobody told me Dana’s replacement was hot.”
Robby shrugged off Dr. Abbott’s hand, “Have some respect, brother. She worked the ER during the pandemic in Manhattan.”
“The early days?” Robby nodded and Abbott let out another low whistle, “No shit?”
Robby sighed, beginning to log out of the computer after finishing his final chart, “That’s what I said. But her work today proves it, for sure. She’s a pro.”
“Why come work at the Pitt, then? She could probably have her pick of any hospital with the nurse shortage.”
“No idea. Hoping to find out now, I’m taking her out for a drink.”
“No shit!” Abbott said again, clapping him on the back, “Don’t let me keep you then, go get her Robby.”
***
The bar two blocks away from the hospital was quiet. It was a Tuesday, after all. The lighting was warm and soft and Gwen and Robby had sought shelter in a corner booth in the back.
They were sitting close enough that just a small movement would have their legs pushed together. Gwen tried not to notice, but over the 12 hour shift, she was beginning to wonder how anyone in the ER stopped themselves from having a huge massive crush on the grumpy attending with the kind eyes. She, certainly, was failing miserably.
“So, Dr. Robby, how long have you been at the Pitt?” She asked as she sipped her beer.
He sighed heavily, “I’ve lost track. probably about a decade, at least.”
“And you love it?”
His eyebrows furrow and he gives her a strange look, “That’s an odd question. Do any of us really love it?”
She laughs, “Probably the interns or med students. The way I see it, it’s like an addiction. When you’re fresh and new, nothing can beat the high of an ER shift. And then as the years pass, you keep coming back looking for that same high. And there are good moments. You save someone’s kid, or parent, or friend, or partner. But it never hits quite the same as it did the first time.” She takes a long swig of her beer, “But we still come back each shift, hoping it’ll be the shift that makes us feel the same way it did in the beginning.”
She turns her head back to Robby, “Is it like that for you, too?”
He nods slowly, watching her with awe, “Something like that, yeah.”
Silence falls between the two of them for a few moments, but it’s a comfortable one. Gwen doesn’t notice how Robby has moved marginally closer to her. They’re still not touching, but there’s only a hairsbreadth of space between them.
“Why’d you leave New York?” Robby asked finally.
Gwen chews on the inside of her cheek, peeling at the label on her beer bottle. The glass is cold and wet and the glue from the label comes off with ease.
“Um,” She said finally, “It was hard to be in the same place as I was during covid. The memories, the flashbacks. I needed a change, is all.”
Robby nods, but he thinks she’s not telling him the whole truth, “There was an almost two year gap on your resume, from 2023 to now.”
Her head snaps to him and now he knows for certain she’s definitely hiding something, “I didn’t know you saw my resume.”
“I asked Dana for it halfway through the shift, out of curiosity.”
She turns back to her beer bottle, “Does the gap concern you?”
He shook his head, “No. You obviously know what you’re doing in an ER. I just wonder why someone as talented as you would want a job at the Pitt.”
Gwen’s quiet for a few moments, “I’m from Pittsburgh. My parents live nearby, I wanted to be closer to them.”
It’s a half truth, and they both know it.
“And the gap?”
She sighs, “Look, it’s not… It’s not something that affects my work, I’m just not comfortable talking about it right now. If that’s okay?”
Robby wants to know everything there is to know about her. But he understands the hesitancy. Who was he to push her to divulge personal information when he has trouble opening up to people he’d known for years? But he would get it out of her eventually.
“Yeah,” He says after a moment, “I understand.”
They talked for a while after about anything and everything. Her parents, his parents. Jake. What types of music she listened to (she loved 90s indie rock, like the Cranberries and Smashing Pumpkins) to how their families celebrated the holidays when they were young. They even delved into religion, discovering that though they both had been raised in organized religion (her, Catholicism; him, Judaism) neither of them believed in God anymore.
“It’s funny, though.” Gwen said, after she finished off her second beer, “During the pandemic I was so desperate for guidance I once found myself wandering into a church after a shift. I sat in a pew and cried for over an hour, repeating prayers I knew under my breath.”
“Did it help?”
She shrugged, “I felt better for a couple of days after. But nothing really changed.”
He nodded, “I do something similar, even now. When I feel at the end of my rope. I think it is… meditative in a way.”
Gwen nods, “Yeah. That’s exactly it.”
They stared at each other, the mutual understanding intoxicating.
But there was still so much they didn’t know.
Gwen cleared her throat, breaking eye contact first, “I should probably be getting home.”
“Sure,” Robby said, trying to hide his disappointment, “Me too.”
They walked in step until the cool night air hit them. Gwen was so lost in her own thoughts, she didn’t notice the uneven sidewalk until her sneaker caught it and she went flying.
Luckily, Robby’s reflexes were sharp and he reached out immediately to catch her, pulling her to his chest, “Woah,” He laughed, “Didn’t take you for a lightweight.”
“Shit,” Gwen swore, her hands flat against his chest, “I’m sorry.”
She started to move away, but his arms were solid, keeping her secured against him, “No need.” Their eyes locked again and he felt that pull to her that had been nagging at him all day, “Am I crazy,” He said softly, “if I tell you how badly I want to kiss you right now?”
Gwen’s eyes darted down to his mouth and she swallowed, “No.”
Robby lowered his head slowly, painfully slowly, as if he was afraid of scaring her off. Gwen had said earlier that she was patient, but not that patient. She rose on her toes until their lips met. She felt his gasp of surprise, but then he was reacting. One hand on her waist, another cupping her neck as he kissed her hard and slow.
Gwen hadn’t been kissed in something like two years, and she couldn’t remember the last time she had been kissed like this, if she ever had. Robby kissed like there was no one else in the world, but them. He kissed as if he wasn’t quite sure that the sun would rise the next morning. He kissed as if the ocean threatened to swallow them whole. It was all consuming and it made her head spin.
The kiss became hungrier and Robby sucked her lower lip into his mouth, biting the flesh gently. She sighed into his mouth, but the longer the kiss went on, the louder the alarm bells in her head began to ring.
She broke the kiss, gently pulling away, “Sorry,” She said breathlessly, a hand on his chest, “I, um, I don’t think this is a good idea.”
Robby frowned at her, “If you’re worried about the job, don’t. You don’t report to me, you report to the Nursing Director—“
“It’s not that.” She said quickly, “And it’s not you, either. I…” She trails off and then meets his eyes again, “I haven’t dated or done something like this in a long time. I’m not sure that I’m ready. I’m… I’m sorry, I thought I was, but—“
“It’s okay.” He said quickly, putting his hands over hers that were still against his chest, “You don’t have to explain. I’ll see you tomorrow?”
Gwen wanted to stay here. She had the overwhelming feeling that once she stopped touching him, she wouldn’t be able to touch him again. But he was stepping away already, dropping her arms and allowing them distance.
She nodded, “Yes. Tomorrow.”
His eyes roved down to her mouth and then back up to her eyes, “Goodnight, Gwen.”
And then he was walking away. She watched his figure as he walked down the road, never turning back, until he turned right and disappeared behind a building.
She closed her eyes and sighed, “Fuck me.”

A light pink skinned lady grabs all of the students attention and announces that you all are wedding guests. She introduces herself as Dione, one of the most powerful mages in Twisted Wonderland. Dione’s attitude was very sweet yet it was very conscending like she was running some sort of workplace. Behind her was Quartz and Azul chained by vines from the cloud beneath everyone. They seemed to react accordingly as Quartz was shouting profanties and throwing a whole fit while Azul was trying to focus on the fact he was being embarrassed in front of a quarter of NRC but Quartz’s outburst was irritating him.
As they were taken away, Dione explained to everyone they were to forcibly help set the wedding up for the bride and groom with her bird minions. If anyone refuses, they will be thrown off from the clouds or forced into a prison made of vines. WIth a quick flick of her hand, everyone’s clothes were suddenly changed into wedding attire.
Once Dione left, the students started to split up and find a way to crash the wedding, but not for Quartz and Azul. The thing was…
THEY HAD A DAY OFF TODAY and who wants to spend it on a stupid wedding? They had plans!
Event Information:
There are 4 different operations going on at the same time to ruin the wedding because a lot of the students disagreed in which way to take this. You have an option to draw your OC in which ever operation!!
It looks like from the background that the place has no buildings but there are plenty made by Dione:
A building for the cake and food <- ran by geese
A place for the Bride to get ready in
A place for the Groom to get ready in
Dione’s place located on a cloud that is higher than the other clouds so she can watch over yall
A place where the decorations and necessities for the wedding are being delivered by doves, pelicans, storks <- they are also not weak, they dont play. they will fight back if disrupted)
and then the wedding atlar which is just the background it’s outside so its just the resting area
Quartz’s dress, Bride’s Tower, and delivery birds
Operation 1: Ruin the Wedding
Led by Idia. Objective is to ruin the wedding like destroying the cake, decorations, finding Dione’s weakness, ruining the whole set up, exploding shit idk
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Description of the attire: Wedding outfits with a bit of technology accessories by Idia Shroud himself. (the leech twins have one ear bud in but i didn’t draw their ears in detail..) You can get creative with the tech accessories
Operation 2: Save the Bride
Led by my MC/Yuu and Grim (you can also add ur Yuus/Mcs in too!!). Objective is to sneak past the geese guards and save Quartz to stop the wedding.
Tumblr media
Description of the attire: Wedding outfit is fine !! but you can get creative with it like “oh heh.. im the maid and uhhh quartz shat herself and i need to help her so let me in” or smth 😭😭😭
Operation 3: Do Nothing/Other
Basically you do nothing. Led by nobody lol. What’s your OC’s objective for doing nothing? Do they want to see the wedding? Do they not care enough because it might be over anyways? Is there no hope?
I didn’t draw anyone here bc it’ll be just wedding attire 😭😭
Operation 4: Steal the Groom
This is for all my Azul likers heh.
Since Azul and Quartz are being rushed to get ready, a lot of clothes are being thrown out and sent back in the boxes laying around so why not reuse them? Maybe you can use it to ruin the wedding and steal Azul’s heart awayy once they’re done dressing him up…..
Description of the Attire: Wedding Bride or Groom outfitss hehee
Rules:
NO weird outfits that sexualizes OCs
Use the tag #WedCloudEvent or tag me if you make a post of this event!!
Please be respectful to everyone’s OCs
You can also draw other TWST characters here if you want!!
Have fun!!
Here’s the background for your OCs!!

Marmalade (2024): making art for set dressing
Two years ago, I got an email from Kiwi Smith (the writer of the comic series, MISFIT CITY, that I illustrated for BOOM!). She introduced me to the actor, writer, and director Keir O'Donnell who was in need of some sketches for an upcoming film of his. The request? Sketchbook pages from the hand of Otis (Aldis Hodge) as he sketches and takes notes on the mysterious Marmalade, the bank-robber and love interest of his prison cell-mate Baron (Joe Keery).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'd never done something like this before, but his prop master was pretty straight-forward with what they needed. Ultimately, I only had to draw two pages of new sketches specifically of Marmalade-specific content. The rest of it consists of old sketches I'd already worked up over time (some of which you may recognize from past sketch dumps).
The goal was to make them look like real pen, ink, and pencil so I had to get creative in Clip Studio. I gave them the sketches mostly separated so they could cut, paste, and arrange them in the prop as they needed. They merged some, omitted others, and the end result looks amazing to me. Never thought I'd get to see Joe Keery tenderly brushing his fingers against my art, but here we are.
What's funnier is how many of the extra sketches I included were sketches of my OCs and D&D characters. Since Aldis Hodge had to pretend to be the one drawing these, I hope he liked the material!
Either way, it was so fun watching this movie with my friends and cheering like it was a contact sport whenever my art showed up LOL. Always grateful to have pals who are excited to gas me up.
For more sketches, check out my Patreon where I've shared these and more for free, open access!

At the ripe age of sixteen, you're not the kind of girl who goes to parties. Your parents are strict and you're responsible. The kind of responsible that means curfews are followed, grades are prioritized and lying to your parents is an absolute no-go. Until tonight.
"You need to relax," Jihyo mutters as the two of you squeeze through the house's front door. The party is already in full swing. Music blares from the speakers, bodies are pressed together in a mass of sweaty teenagers, and the scent of cheap beer and cologne lingers in the air.
"I am relaxed," you grumble back, even as you pull your sleeves down over your hands, suddenly feeling out of place and self-conscious in big square glasses and dirty Converse.
Jihyo snorts. "Yeah, and I'm the queen of England." You huff, rolling your eyes. "We shouldn't even be here."
"Correction; you shouldn't be here. I, on the other hand, am thriving." Jihyo grins, already scanning the room for familiar faces. "Oh! I think I see Haeun! I'm gonna go say hi. I'll be right back, okay?"
You watch as she disappears into the crowd before letting out a sigh and making your way toward the kitchen instead. If you're going to be here, you at least need something to keep you occupied, preferably a soda. The idea of drinking alcohol at a party where you know almost no one is far too terrifying to risk.
You squeeze past a group of people and reach for a can of Coke from a cooler box filled with ice and drinks in the middle of the kitchen. You crack it open and take a sip. You take a few sips before realizing how awkward you must look, so you get your phone out and pull the only move you can think of; pretend to text someone and check the weather app every few seconds.
"You don't look like you want to be here."
The voice is smooth, casual and dangerously close. You freeze and tilt your head to find a boy standing before you, leaning against the counter with the kind of confidence that makes girls' knees weak.
Park Sunghoon.
You know who he is before he even introduces himself. All the girls here know Sunghoon. He's a senior and quite popular apparently. He's the kind of guy who always has someone's attention on him, the kind of guy who never has to try too hard because everything seems to come naturally to him.
And right now, he's looking at you. You of all people.
You grip your can of Coke a little bit tighter. "I'm fine," you mutter just a tad bit too quickly, realizing that you sound far from fine.
Sunghoon tilts his head, not trying to hide his amusement. "Uh-huh."
You shift under his gaze, suddenly feeling small. "I'm just here with my friend."
"Jihyo, right?"
You blink, surprised. "You know Jihyo?"
He chuckles. "Yeah. I'm friends with her cousin."
You nod, feeling a bit unsure of what to say next. He studies you for a moment before speaking up again. "You don't come to parties often, huh?"
You hesitate, mentally kicking yourself for making it so obvious. "Not really, no."
"Do your parents know you're here?" He chuckles, sounding almost like he's mocking you.
Your face burns hot, your eyes drifting down to your sneakers. "Of course they do."
"Liar," he whispers.
You swallow thickly, feeling your pulse jump in your throat.
Sunghoon grins, his eyes softening at the evident nerves in your body language. "Don't worry, I won't tell," he teases, taking a sip of his beer.
You stare up at him, wondering why he would possibly choose to stand here and talk to you when there are so many other girls. He's smooth, too smooth, too effortlessly charming. It's dangerous, yet you can't help but welcome the butterflies in your stomach every time he looks at you.
"Come on," he says suddenly, reaching past you for a big bag of chips on the counter, his arm brushing against yours in the process. "If you're not gonna talk, at least eat something."
You blink up at him. "What?"
Sunghoon tears the bag open and holds it out for you. "Chips," he deadpans. "I know you've been standing here trying to look busy. Eating is the easiest way to do that."
Your mouth opens and closes as you try to deny it, but you know he's not wrong. Reluctantly, you reach into the bag, plucking out a single chip. "This is stupid."
He grins, popping two into his mouth at once. "Maybe. But it's better than awkwardly pretending to text someone who isn't texting you back."
That almost makes you choke on your chip. "Excuse me?"
His eyes twinkle with amusement, his grin growing wider. "I saw you earlier. Very convincing performance, by the way."
"You're insufferable," you mutter, glaring at him before shoving another chip into your mouth.
"But I'm right," he chuckles.
You hate that you can't think of a comeback. You hate that the look in his eyes makes your heart pound. You hate that you don't mind spending the rest of the night speaking to him.
Tumblr media
It happens on a random Thursday, the kind of day that usually comes and goes without any significance.
You're sitting cross-legged on his bed, flipping through one of your textbooks while he's sprawled out beside you, absentmindedly tossing a baseball into the air and catching it.
It's been a while since you officially started dating, and even though you're still getting used to being someone's girlfriend, it's been fun and easy.
The window is cracked open, letting in the crisp autumn air. The faint sound of distant traffic hums in the background, mixing with the rhythmic thump of Sunghoon's baseball hitting his palm. You underline a passage in your notes, trying to focus on studying, but your boyfriend's movements are distracting.
"Do you ever take university seriously?" You sigh, not looking up from your notes.
He snorts. "I'm a third-year, baby. I've earned the right to slack off sometimes."
You roll your eyes, highlighting another sentence. "Yeah, must be nice, hm?"
He hums, catching the baseball one last time before tossing it into the drawer of his nightstand. He shifts, turning onto his side so he can watch you study.
You try to ignore the weight of his gaze. It's impossible.
"You know," he muses, reaching out to toy with the hem of your sweatshirt, the one he gave you, slightly oversized on you, the sleeves bunched at your wrists. "I think you secretly like spending all your time studying just so you don't have to pay attention to me."
You scoff, flipping a page. "You're delusional."
Sunghoon smirks, tugging lightly on the fabric of the sweatshirt. "Seriously. I could be dying over here, in desperate need of love and affection, and you'd still choose your stupid textbook over me."
You raise an eyebrow. "I think you'll live."
He sighs dramatically. "I guess I'll survive."
You shake your head, unable to stop the smile tugging at your lips. "You're such a baby."
"You're so mean to me. You're lucky I love you."
Your breath catches. You look up, startled, and that's when you see it, his expression shifting, his playful smirk faltering like he just realized what he said.
He blinks at you, his confidence wavering for the first time since you started dating. "Uh..."
You stare at him, your heart pounding.
Sunghoon lets out a nervous chuckle, shaking his head like he messed it up. "Shit, that wasn't how I meant to say that for the first time."
You're still frozen, slowly processing his words, watching as he hurries to sit up, looking restless all of a sudden.
"I was gonna wait," he murmurs, looking disappointed with myself. "Make it special. Maybe plan a big date or something." He looks at you, his face suddenly serious, his eyes searching your expression. "But...I don't know. I was looking at you just now and it just...it just slipped out. But I mean it."
Your lips part, but no words come out.
A flicker of uncertainty crosses his face. He exhales sharply, visibly pulling back. "Shit. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything."
That snaps you out of it. "No."
"No?"
You shake your head quickly, setting your textbook aside. "No, don't take it back."
His eyebrows furrow. "But-"
You reach for his hand, intertwining your fingers with his, your grip firm. "I love you too."
The tension in his shoulders disappears immediately. His eyes widen slightly, like he wasn't expecting you to actually say it back.
"Yeah?" he murmurs softly, squeezing your hand with a wide smile on his lips.
You nod, feeling an intense warmth start to bloom in your chest. "Yeah."
He lets out a soft, breathy laugh, cupping your face in his hands. "I love you," he whispers, his voice full of something so warm, so certain, that it makes your chest ache.
And when he kisses you, soft and slow, you think, 'This is it. This is forever.'
Tumblr media
You never thought moving in with your boyfriend would be easy, but standing in the middle of Sunghoon's apartment, surrounded by boxes labelled in messy handwriting, you realize you underestimated just how chaotic it would be.
"You own way too much stuff," he grunts, setting down the last of your boxes by the couch. He wipes his brow, glancing around the room like he's just now realizing how much space your things take up.
You place your hands on your hips, raising an eyebrow at his tone. "Excuse me? I only brought the essentials."
Sunghoon snorts, lightly kicking one of the boxes with his foot. "Unless you consider twenty scented candles an essential, I think you're lying."
"I like my apartment to smell good, thank you very much," you scoff, crossing your arms over your chest.
He grins, stepping closer. "Our apartment," he corrects you, playfully tapping your chin.
Right. Our apartment. That's crazy. It's not just his apartment anymore, it's yours too now.
Sunghoon studies you for a moment, his expression softening. "You okay?"
"Yeah, just...taking it all in, y'know?"
He smiles, reaching for your hand to lace his fingers with yours. "Come on, let's unpack later. First, I think we need to do something important."
"Like what?" you ask, tilting your head.
He grins and starts tugging you towards the kitchen. "Finding a space for all your mugs."
-
By the time you finally finish unpacking, mostly unpacking, it's late and you're exhausted.
Sunghoon stretches his arms above his head while he walks to the bedroom, letting out a big yawn. "Okay, I vote we officially stop being productive for the night."
You groan in agreement, flopping onto the bed. It smells like his detergent mixed with his cologne. It's so distinctly him and you love it.
Sunghoon chuckles and plops down beside you, rolling onto his side to look at you. "This feels kinda surreal, doesn't it? Like, you actually live here now. I can't kick you out when I get sick of your yapping."
That earns him a pinch to the bicep.
"Regretting it already?" you scoff.
"Are you kidding? I've been begging you to move in for months," he grins, scooting closer.
You giggle as he nudges your nose with his. "You're ridiculous."
He smiles, genuinely smiles, before propping himself up on his elbow, his face turning serious. "This is just the beginning, y'know."
You furrow your eyebrows in confusion. "Beginning of what?"
"Of our life together," he smiles, cupping your cheek in his hand. "I'm eventually gonna make you my wife and have you barefoot and pregnant in no time."
That earns him another pinch.
Tumblr media
You smooth down the skirt of your dress for what feels like the tenth time, glancing around the restaurant with wide eyes. It's the nicest place you've ever been to. Marble floors, candlelit tables, waiters in black vests who speak softly and pour your water with practiced precision. Even the chandelier above you sparkles like it's been polished specifically for tonight.
"You didn't have to go this all out," you murmur, glancing at Sunghoon from across the table.
He leans back in his chair, looking far too relaxed in his tailored suit, his hair styled perfectly, a glass of red wine cradled in his hand. "Come on," he scoffs with a soft grin. "You're always saying I don't take you anywhere fancy."
You let out an amused snort, your eyebrows raised. "I meant, like...movie theatres with reclining seats. Not this."
He smirks, taking a sip of his wine before setting it down on the white linen tablecloth. "This is better though."
You look around the restaurant, your eyes wide. "This place probably costs more than our rent."
"You should be proud, ___. I'm interning at one of the top law firms in Seoul. We might as well live like it," he scoffs.
You smile but something in your chest twists. You've noticed the change in him lately, how he carries himself differently, speaks more carefully, drops names you're unfamiliar with. There's a polish to him now, like he's already halfway to the man he's trying to become, and you don't know if you're even worthy of that man.
"I am proud of you, baby," you mumble, trying to lighten the mood. "This just...must have cost a fortune. You know I would've been happy with takeout and a movie for date night."
"I know." Sunghoon leans forward, taking your hand in his. "But I wanted tonight to be more special than that."
Your eyebrows furrow. "Why?"
He doesn't answer right away. Instead, he reaches into the inside pocket of his suit jacket. He pulls out a small black velvet box and places it on the table, unopened.
Your eyes almost bulge out of your head, your heart pounding, your mouth suddenly feeling incredibly dry. You can't speak, staring at him like a deer caught in headlights.
"Look, I know we're young," he murmurs, looking a little nervous. "And we still have so much ahead of us...but I also know I don't want to go through any of it without you."
Your breath hitches.
"I've known for a long time that I want to marry you, ___."
He opens the velvet box. Inside is a diamond ring, big but classy. It's classic and simple, and it looks expensive enough to make your heart race and your head spin. Sunghoon stands up from his chair and moves toward you, dropping to one knee beside the table. The whole restaurant feels like it fades to a low hum.
"___," he murmurs, his eyes shining, his voice steady. "Will you marry me?"
Your eyes grow glossy. You've talked about the future, always in vague, hopeful ways. You've talked about maybe moving to a new city someday, maybe getting a dog, maybe getting married and having a baby.
But this is suddenly so real.
He looks so sure, so ready. When you look at him, you don't just see a boyfriend anymore. You see someone successful, someone who wants to be with you forever, someone who could give you a life that looks like this.
You say yes.
Because you believe it's right.
Because you love him, and you want to love him forever.
Tumblr media
You're balancing a bag of groceries in one hand and your keys and purse in the other when you unlock the door to the apartment.
It's later than usual, but not by much. You told him you'd be studying late at the library but you finished early and decided to surprise him with a nice dinner, something warm and comforting to break through the tension that's been sitting between you both for weeks now.
Grad school has been intense. Between classes, research, your thesis work, and the never-ending string of appointments for wedding planning, you've barely had time to breathe, let alone focus on the growing distance between you and Sunghoon.
But tonight, you want to try. You want to remind him that you still choose him, even when life is chaotic.
You're toeing off your shoes when you hear it. A soft, breathy sound. Muffled. Familiar.
Your stomach knots. You take a few tentative steps down the hallway. The bedroom door is slightly ajar.
Then—
A moan. A voice you recognize. Too well. You freeze. Your heart drops.
No. No. No. No.
You push the door open and there they are.
Sunghoon and Minji, one of your old university friends. She's straddling him, his hands gripping her waist, both of them frozen in horror the second they see you.
The grocery bag slips from your hand, apples and a carton of milk crashing to the floor.
Minji scrambles off of him, trying to cover herself. "___, I...I didn't know you were-"
"Get out," you whisper.
She hesitates, glancing at Sunghoon like she expects him to fix it.
"I said get out!"
Minji jumps, grabbing her clothes and bolting from the room. You're left standing there with shallow breaths, hands shaking, staring at the man you're supposed to marry.
Sunghoon stares back at you, sheet around his waist, mouth opening like he wants to say something but nothing comes out.
His lips part. Then close. Then part again. All you can hear is the ringing in your ears. The room spins. Your stomach churns. You feel like you might be sick.
Suddenly, you turn and walk straight into the bathroom, slamming the door behind you and locking it. You barely make it to the sink before the sob rips out of your chest. Your hands clutch the porcelain as you struggle to stay upright, the weight of what you've just seen, what you know, crashing over you all at once.
The betrayal feels like fire, burning through your ribs, crawling up your throat, threatening to swallow you whole. Your mind keeps playing it on a loop. His hands on her. Her voice. His face when he saw you.
You drop to the floor, pulling your knees to your chest. Your breath comes in short, shallow gasps, tears streaming down your cheeks with no sign of stopping. You cover your mouth with both hands, trying to muffle the sounds clawing their way out of you.
This was supposed to be the man you were going to marry. The one who promised forever. The one you trusted. And he threw all of it away.
Minutes pass. Maybe hours. You don't know. You sit on the cold tile floor, hugging your knees to your chest, your eyes red and puffy, your entire body wracked with silent, aching grief. Eventually, your sobs quiet into nothing. You don’t feel better. Just empty.
Numb.
When you finally unlock the door and step back into the apartment, the silence greets you like a slap.
You walk out slowly, your legs stiff and heavy beneath you. You find him sitting on the couch, fully dressed now, hunched over with his elbows on his knees, head in his hands. He looks up when he hears your footsteps, eyes red, hair a mess, guilt hanging from him like a second skin.
"___," he mutters softly, like he doesn't know how to say anything else.
The pain bubbles up again, but this time it's sharper, steadier. You cross your arms, standing a few feet away like you can't bring yourself to get any closer.
You stare at him, feeling completely hollow. "How could you?"
He rises from the couch, cautiously stepping toward you. "I wasn't thinking. I- there's no excuse. I fucked up. Please, please, let's just talk about this-"
"Talk about what?" you snap, fresh tears building again. "How you cheated on me? How you fucked her in our bed? Fine, let's talk about it."
Sunghoon runs his hands through his hair, pacing desperately. "I know...I know I messed up. I never meant to hurt you."
"You never meant to-" You laugh bitterly, shaking your head. "Sunghoon, you fucked someone, my friend of all people! In our bed! You fucked everything up!"
He stops pacing, jaw tightening, expression darkening like he's been holding in frustration and resentment and he just can't hold it in any longer.
"Maybe everything was already fucked up, ___."
"What are you-"
"I felt alone, okay?" he groans, rubbing his hands over his face. "You were never around."
Your brows knit together. "Are you fucking serious?"
"I needed to feel like I mattered again!" he snaps. "You never made time for me!"
You shake your head, completely stunned. "I was working my ass off to build a name for myself, a life for us. I was doing it all...for us, Sunghoon!"
His expression contorts, bitter and broken. "Every time I looked at you, you were buried in your books or talking about centrepieces or venue options. You never stopped. Your degree, the damn wedding planning, it all mattered more than me and my needs!"
You laugh, cold and hollow. "Don't you dare stand there and act like the victim. You cheated on me. For God knows how long."
"I know I did," he mutters, but the guilt starts fading from his voice, replaced with something harder. "But you weren't giving me what I needed. I needed someone who actually made me feel like a man."
Your heart twists, a mix of pain and rage clawing its way through your chest. "So, this made you feel like a man? Is that it? You needed to fuck someone else, someone I considered a friend, so that you could feel like more of a man? You couldn't talk to me and try to fix it?"
He exhales, turning away from you. "I tried."
"No," you mutter shakily, your voice breaking. "You didn't try hard enough."
You stare at the man you thought you'd spend forever with, and he doesn't look like the boy who you fell in love with. The boy who promised to never hurt you. He just looks like a stranger now.
"I was loyal to you," you scoff, tears blurring your vision. "Even when it was hard. Even when I was exhausted. I chose you every single day, even when you made it so hard to. Even when you lost your temper, even when you would scream at me, even when you made me feel bad about myself. I still chose you, Sunghoon!"
Your voice turns into a sob, your cheeks stained with mascara, your bottom lip trembling.
"Why couldn't you choose me? Why couldn't you think of our future?"
"It stopped feeling like ours a long time ago," he mutters, his voice growing softer. He looks away, looking ashamed for a fleeting second before he doubles down. "You did this to us."
The silence that follows is deafening.
You stare at him in complete and utter disbelief. You almost laugh, almost, but it sticks in your throat, tangled in heartbreak and disbelief.
"I did this?" you echo.
Sunghoon's expression is tight. "I'm not saying I was right, but I felt alone. I felt like I didn't matter to you anymore," he mumbles, looking down at his feet.
Tears slide down your cheeks, hot and silent. "You were everything to me."
He looks at you, regret starting to crack through his pride. "Baby..."
Your mouth parts, but the words catch in your throat. You want to scream and break something. You want to rewind time, go back to just an hour ago when you were standing in the grocery store aisle debating whether to buy basil or parsley for the dinner you never got to make.
He takes a step toward you but you shake your head, backing away. "I can't believe you'd do this. After seven fucking years. I really hope she was worth it."
His eyes glisten but it's too late. The damage is done. And just like that, you know there's no coming back from this. No amount of apologies or explanation can undo what he did. So you turn around, walk to the bedroom, and start packing a bag. You walk over to the nightstand, the one where your wedding planner notebook still sits, pages dog-eared and scribbled with half-finished ideas.
You slip your ring off without hesitation. It's heavier than you remember. You place it down on the wood with a soft clink that sounds louder than the city traffic outside. It's final, inevitable.
Without looking back, you turn and walk out.

The guest bedroom in Jihyo's apartment smells faintly like lavender and fabric softener, but after almost two years, it no longer feels temporary. Her place is bright, filled with colour, yet you feel like a shadow haunting it.
You wake up slowly, sunlight filtering through pale curtains, but it doesn't fill you with warmth. Some days are harder than others. There are still days you lie in bed and stare at the ceiling until your chest aches. Days when food tastes like cardboard, when your body feels too heavy to carry, when the memories creep in—him, his laugh, his scent. Jihyo's been your main support system. There are still days when she has to physically drag you int the shower or sit beside you with a spoon to your lips to force you to eat something.
This morning feels better, even just slightly.
You pull yourself out of bed and walk to the kitchen where Jihyo is already buzzing around, dressed and ready for the day. Her presence, as always, is a source of comfort.
"Big day!" she exclaims, pushing a fresh cup of coffee into your hands.
You take it with a grateful smile. "You mean terrifying day."
She gives you a look. "You'll be great. Just don't cry in front of the students. They're probably still hungover from the weekend and dealing with their own shit."
"That's...fair," you snort.
Jihyo tilts her head, her voice growing gentler. "You sure you're okay to do this?"
You nod, looking determined. "I have to be."
You have to be ready. You transferred to Yonsei for a fresh start. You have a new job, apartment hunting, maybe thinking of getting a cat to keep you company. There are no more wedding plans taped to the fridge or a ring on your finger. It's scary, but you're ready. You have no other choice but to be ready.

Standing in front of the main entrance to the building, clutching a leather folder to your chest like it's the glue holding you together, you take a deep breath to try and ease the flutter of nerves in your stomach.
When you walk in, the hallway is filled with a soft hum of conversation in the distance, the low shuffle of students moving from class to class. You're so caught up in the quiet rhythm of it all that you nearly run into someone rounding the corner.
"Oh- sorry!"
You step back quickly, your folder nearly slipping from your grasp. The man in front of you blinks, just as startled.
He's tall, dressed in slacks and a pale blue dress shirt rolled up to the elbows. His hair looks soft, a little tousled like he's been running his hands through it all morning. His glasses sit on the bridge of his nose and his eyes, round and kind, widen slightly when they land on you.
He's handsome in that kind, unassuming, doesn't-know-he's-hot way.
"No, no, I'm sorry," he rushes to say, bowing politely. "I didn't see you there."
You shake your head, offering him a faint smile. "It's okay, I wasn't really watching where I was going."
The awkward tension only lasts a second before he smiles, gentle and warm.
"Are you new? I haven't seen you around here before."
You nod. "Yeah. First day."
He nods in understanding, adjusting his glasses before offering his hand. "I'm Jungkook. Professor Jeon to my students. I teach economics."
You shake his hand. His grip is firm but not overpowering. His palm is warm, comforting.
"I'm ___. Professor ___ to mine," you murmur. "Political science."
"Welcome to Yonsei," he smiles, his eyes crinkling at the sides. "We don't usually do hazing rituals for new staff, unless you count being thrown into an 8am lecture with uninterested students."
His smile makes something flutter in your chest. It's not romantic per say, you're not ready for that, but there's something safe about him. Something reassuring, like the soft hum of music you didn't know you needed to hear.
"Thanks," you murmur, shifting the folder in your hands. "Still trying not to get lost."
He grins. "I still get lost, and I've been here a while."
You laugh, the sound catching you off guard. It's been a long time since you've done that.
You look at him, taking in his slightly crooked tie, the way his glasses slip down his nose when he glances at your schedule peeking out from your folder. He kinda reminds you of a puppy.
He clears his throat. "If you need anything, uh...printer passwords, coffee recommendations, a tour of the faculty lounge, I'm happy to help."
Your lips twitch. "Is that all a part of your job description?"
He chuckles. "It is when the new political science professor looks slightly terrified."
You roll your eyes, but you can't keep the smile from tugging at your mouth. "Not terrified. Just...mildly overwhelmed."
"Mildly," he repeats, nodding like it's very serious business. "Got it. In that case, I'll keep my offer for coffee on the table."
You laugh again, softer this time. "I might take you up on that."
"Good." He pauses, then gestures towards the hallway. "You headed to class?"
"Yeah, but I'm not really sure where I'm supposed to be," you murmur sheepishly.
His eyebrows raise, the corners of his mouth turning upward. "I can walk you to wherever you need to be...if you want."
You hesitate, but only for a second.
"Sure."
As the two of you start walking side by side, something loosens in your chest, ever so slightly—the knot that's been there since the breakup with Sunghoon.
You're not ready for anything big. You're still healing. Still learning to exist in your own skin again, but for the first time in a really long time, something flickers quietly in the back of your mind. Maybe, not today or tomorrow, but someday something good can start again.
And maybe it starts with a boy in glasses and a crooked tie, holding open the door to your new life.

“I can’t believe those people can’t keep their dick in for just a little while.” Jungkook tilts his head in a disapproving way. “There’s so much money at stake and you're risking it just cause you’re horny?”
You silently giggle at the way his brows knit. The judgement that contorts his face is the exact opposite of his earlier claims that he doesn’t care about silly reality tv shows that are obviously pre-arranged and scripted.
“Oh, don’t act like it’d be easy for you.” You poke his calf with your foot. “You’re a very horny person, Jungkook.” You look up at him with your chin resting against his bare chest and give him a pointed look.
His bottom lip juts out as he ponders your words. “I don’t think so,” he finally says.
You gasp in mock surprise, pushing yourself away from with your palms against shoulders. You lie nearly completely on top of him, one leg thrown across his body. “That is a bold statement coming from you.”
Jungkook toys with the strap of your lacy camisole. “Honestly, I think you are hornier than me.”
You blink multiple times. “Me?” You point to yourself. “No, it’s you.” You nudge his bare, husky chest with your nail – you got your nails done for summer, the tips are painted in the cutest pastel colours.
He catches your finger and swiftly interlaces his hand with yours. “Nuh-uh. It’s not me,” he denies. “Who was the one to initiate things between us?”
“That has nothing to do with this,” you argue. “You just never initiated anything because you’re scared of my brother.” A mischievous twinkle unfolds in your eyes. Jungkook should be paid for the obnoxious number of times he has to put up with your bratty ass.
Jungkook rolls his pretty eyes. “I wouldn’t be on his fucking couch cuddling with his sister if I was scared, hm?” He looks across the hallway, pointing with his chin to Taehyung’s room. “Where even is he?”
“I dunno. Said he’d come home late.”
His fingers slip away from yours and he holds his palm against yours.
“You’ve got long fingers,” you say, staring at the size difference.
“Your nails are pretty.” He mindlessly brushes his fingers over them.
You excitedly tap your fingertips against his hand. “I know, right? Thank you!” You lean down and give his belly button a kiss.
“Another one?”
You giggle foolishly, planting another smooch on his tummy. Then you rest your head on his belly and refocus on the show playing on the television.
His palm lies on the small of your back, thumb gently stroking your exposed skin. “You were, like, all over me, though. Last year, I mean.”
“Excuse me?” you turn your head.
“Last year during summer break, when Taehyung and I surprised you.”
“I know what you mean,” you tell him. You drop his hand on his lap, a frown blossoming on your face. “But that was not the case at all.”
Okay, perhaps he is correct – but to your defence, you were struggling with your first real heartbreak around that time and needed a little distraction.
“I just wanted to get the charger and leave,” he argues with a pout, playing all innocent with those damned doe eyes
“No.” You give him an appalled look. “You were literally standing in my room staring at me.”
“Well, I didn’t expect to find you like that.”
“You barged into my room, what were you expe-”
“I didn’t barge into your room,” he clarifies. “Your door was ajar, so I assumed you’d be decent.”
You shake your head disapprovingly. “Knocking is basic etiquette.”
“Whatever,” he sighs and his hand on your back sneaks beneath your top. “You initiated it, though. Practically threw yourself at me.”
You scoff, frowning up at him. “Need a trip down memory lane?”
Jungkook smirks amusedly. His dimple pops out adorably. “What?” He twirls a strand of your hair around his finger. “Wanna show me what we did?”
You roll your eyes, despite your heart skipping a beat. “You wouldn’t last a second on the show.” You tilt your head towards the flat screen tv.
“I have a hot girl in my arms – gonna blame a boy for trying?”
Jungkook clearly knows how to get you. And you hate that he knows when he’s got you. His smile grows bigger and his hand wanders down to your ass, barely covered with your tiny shorts, and delivers a little smack.
“C’mere,” he whispers and pulls you on top of him. “Wanna make you scream louder than you did earlier.”

For you, summer doesn’t quite begin until it’s the perfect day to lie on the sun lounger in a cute bikini, sipping on a cold drink and bask in the gentle warmth with good music in your ears. It’s the perfect way to relax and unwind.
Lucky for you, today is one of those summer days – just perfect enough to spend the entire day resting by the pool. The sun is high in the sky, casting a warm glow on your skin.
Better than Revenge by Taylor Swift is blasting through your phone while you placidly flip the page of a memoir about love.
As you look up from the book, you notice that your little grey cat Moon has left your lap. She was sunbathing with you, lying flat on her belly with her limbs outstretched, but she must’ve slipped into the house a while ago. You dog ear the page and place the book on the small table beside you.
The sun dances on the water, creating a beautiful mosaic of light and shadow. A little slice of heaven on earth, you think. You love spending time in the backyard. It’s peaceful and tranquil.
And that’s when you hear the patter of feet running across the grass from behind, and before you’re able to realise what’s happening, two bodies jump into the pool, the water splashes everywhere – including you.
“What the-” You shut your eyes closed despite the sunglass perched on the bridge of your nose. Water droplets hit your face. You pull your sunglasses up to your forehead.
Two heads pop out of the water. “Hi.” Jungkook is the first to speak up. He sends a sweet smile in your direction, his hand doing a little wave.
Your heart beats faster at the sight of him. Unthinkingly, you slowly mimic the wave with your hand. Your gaze wanders over to the tattoo wreathing his shoulder, peeking out of the water, and the way the droplets run from his face to his neck before your eyes shift to your brother.
Taehyung is fixing his hair, a huge grin plastered on his face.
“What are you guys doing here?” You grab the towel next to you to dry yourself off. “Isn’t it Thursday? I thought you were coming back on Friday?”
“Surprise!” Your brother yells from the pool. When Taehyung notices the pout on your lips, he gives you a quizzical look. “You’re not happy to see me?” He pushes himself out of the pool and walks over to you.
“I had planned to bake you a cake,” you explain sullenly and stand up.
“A cake? For what?”
“Just a little welcome back cake.” You shrug. “Mum bought me the pink Smeg stand mixer and I wanted to try it out.”
“Well, that’s fine. We could bake together?” He opens his arms, and despite him being wet everywhere, you rush into the hug.
“Missed you,” you mumble into his arm. Immediate comfort surrounds you. "But it’s no fun being in the kitchen with you.”
“Yah.” He shoves you away. “Be grateful that I’m letting you ruin my kitchen with all your stuff.”
“Ruin?” you repeat offended. “As far as I know you barely even have anything in your kitchen – let alone your apartment. I’ll decorate everything really pretty, just trust me.”
Out of the corner of your eye, you notice Jungkook pushing himself out of the pool. Taehyung restricts your sight a little, so you take a subtle step to the side. But the second you have a clear view of Jungkook, you instantly regret it.
His arms have gotten bigger – stronger, buffer, just everything – and the water running down his sculpted body is pitifully failing at making this scene less salivating. Oh, and his thighs. His wet swim shorts cling to them, leaving exactly nothing to the imagination.
You hastily look away when Jungkook catches your eyes.
“You missed me too?” Jungkook chips in, standing next to Taehyung. Jungkook wears a cheeky grin and stretches his arms out.
With faux reluctance, you give in. “I guess,” you mutter and gingerly hug him. Jungkook’s big hands are on your back and you feel the slightest tingle.
“You guess?” he scoffs.
He pulls you back and peers down at you beneath his wet locks. You’re a little blinded by the proximity of his gorgeous face. His piercings twinkle in the sun just like is eyes do when he looks at you.
When his hands clasp your waist, you know exactly what he’s scheming.
“Jungkook, don’t.” You try to push him away, but he obviously won’t budge.
“When are you gonna learn that teasing me by the pool never ends well for you?” He cocks his head.
You feel Taehyung’s hand on your shoulder. “You did this to yourself.”
You huff, trying to plead with your eyes. “Jungkook. I really don’t want to get my hair wet.”
“You don’t want me to throw you into the pool?”
“No.” Your mouth twists into a pout. Maybe he’ll spare you for cuteness. Your hands travel to his arms. Or maybe you can distract him enough to let you go.
“Too bad.” Jungkook throws you over his shoulder with an annoying grin. You kick his back with your fists, but it’s hopeless. “That’s, like, one of my favourite summer activities.”
And then he leaps into the pool with you.
~
You admit, you did indeed have fun goofing around with them in the pool – you're still pissed at Jungkook for tossing you into the water though.
“You’ve been alone the whole day?” Taehyung asks when all three of you are out of the pool.
“Yeah, mum and dad said they’d come home later.”
“Why haven’t you invited someone over?”
“Just wanted to enjoy some me time.” You point to your copy of Everything I Know About Love. “I was reading a little.”
“How are thing with Doyoon? Haven’t heard from him in a while.”
It is a reasonable question, given that you haven’t updated Taehyung on your relationship status for, like, a month now. But you’d rather talk about anything but your ex.
“I don’t know,” you reply indifferently. When you spot little Moon plodding around the garden you swoop her up into your arms. “Have you greeted Moonie yet? She’s missed you.” The tiny grey kitty purrs in your hold.
“I spent like 20 minutes cuddling her in the living room when we got here.” Taehyung pets her under her chin and her purring intensifies. “So, what’s with Doyoon? You two had a fight?”
Jungkook joins the kitty cuddles and gives Moon belly rubs.
“I broke up with him.”
Both boys stop their movements. Moon complains meekly at the sudden lack of petting.
“You broke up with him?” Jungkook asks perplexed.
You’re aware it sounds shocking that the girl with huge separation anxiety and attachment issues broke up with her boyfriend of nearly a year, but that is exactly what you did.
“What did he do?” Taehyung's eyebrows are knitted, flashing you a glowering gaze.
You know he is not mad at you – even though he doesn’t particularly like when you keep things hidden from him – but mad at the fact that someone hurt you and he wasn’t there to protect you.
You just shrug.
“How long ago was that?” Taehyung continues his inquiry.
“Uh, like a month ago or so?” You let Moon hop onto the grass. She immediately goes to rub her head against Jungkook’s leg.
“___, if you want me to-”
“Tae, I’m fine. Really.”
“We’ll talk about this later.” In Jungkook’s direction he says, “I’ll get us some towels.” And then he disappears into the house.
Jungkook steps closer to you, now with Moon in his embrace, and changes the subject. “Watchu been up to?” He pinches your cheek. “Senior year was fine without us?”
Frowning, you shove his arm away. “Believe it or not, but school was actually more peaceful without annoying boys in the hallways.”
Jungkook snorts a laugh at your jab. His dimples popping out distract you a little and all you think about is cute and how badly you want to poke them. But instead, you cross your arms in front of your chest.
“So, everything’s been fine?” he asks. “You’re excited for college? Being roomies with Taehyung?” Jungkook’s eyes shimmer teasingly – how could they not, his doe eyes look the sparkliest around you.
Now, you don’t want to seem rude. But when you thought about moving out and finally having the freedom you had dreamed of for so long, you didn’t reckon with the fact that your parents had already arranged your move out without you. You had tabs of pretty apartments near campus saved on your laptop when your mum nonchalantly asked at dinner a few months ago if Taehyung had already removed the furniture from his guest bedroom so you could furnish it to your liking.
You were a little upset – still are upset, but there's nothing you can do.
It’s a sore subject, so you bite the side of your lip sulkily. “Why? Do you wanna move in? I heard you only got a tiny dorm.” You keep your nose in the air.
“Oh no, I love my apartment. I love having my own space and not having to share it with anyone.” Jungkook shakes his head at your wrong assumption, all innocently. “It’s not big, but perfect for one person.” He shrugs. “Will you be fine with only one room to yourself, princess?” He actually flashes you a smile – taunting you with those sickeningly wicked lips and round eyes – but you just roll your eyes at his silly remark and turn on your heel, sashaying your way back to the sun lounger.
“I’m good.” You pick up your towel from the small table to dry you off. “I’ll be perfectly fine. I don’t think I’ll be home much anyway.” You imitate his smile from just a moment ago. “Wanna have the full college experience.” You think you see his face falter for the tiniest second before he recovers.
“Told Taehyung that too?”
You purse your lips in naivety. “Of course he knows.”
“Oh, yeah?” He quirks his brow. You catch his eyes as they dip down to watch you drying your chest.
You blink. “What do you mean – yeah, of course I told him.” You have to contain your laughter when perplexity falls over Jungkook’s face. “What are you thinking of?” Your head falls sideways, mouth curving upwards.
“No, what are you thinking of?”
“Oh, I’m thinking of spending my time in the library to study, maybe explore some cute cafes nearby to study in – oh, creating study groups and having study buddies would be fun!” you exclaim. “And obviously cheering for Taehyung and you,” – you give him a pointed look – “at your games.” You throw the now damp towel back on the lounger. “What were you thinking of?”
He shakes his head, pouty mouth denying that he was thinking of something else. He’s guilelessly rubbing Moon’s back, who has quickly fallen into a little nap in his arms.
“Cheering us on, hm?”
“Just like old times,” you say. “Think I should apply as a cheerleader again?”
Jungkook toys with his lip ring and you hate when he does it because you already have a hard time not blatantly staring at his mouth as it is.
“You-” He stops abruptly.
“What?” you ask, trying to pull the words from him, the tip of your tongue pressing against your top lip.
“You looked good in your cheerleader uniform.” His eyes dart mindlessly over your body.
A short giggle escapes you. “I know, right? Thank you!” You give him a sweet smile over your shoulder as you walk pass Taehyung, who just stepped outside with two towels in his hand.
“Where’re you going?” Taehyung halts next to you.
“Thought I’d make us some drinks,” you reply.
Taehyung gives you a long stare. “That’s what you’ve been up to the past weeks?”
You wave dismissively. “No, not at all.”
But Taehyung can tell when you lie – can smell it from anywhere. It’s something you hate and love at the same time. Sometimes you just want to be left alone, and sometimes, when your guard is up high, he allows you to feel vulnerable through his endless poking and snooping.
“Maybe a little.” An apologetic smile forms on your mouth, eyes going rounder when you hear Taehyung sigh.
Okay, maybe you did drink a little more than you’d like to admit – you got your heart broken. What’s a girl gonna do? – but never too much. And never when you were on your own. Being drunk alone is no fun.
“I promise it’s not that serious,” you say. Nothing a little crying, cuddles from Moon and journaling at night can’t cure. Your visits at stationery stores have been a tad bit excessive this past month – but for good reason.
His eyes tell you that he’s going to confront you about this later. He nods his head to the kitchen inside. “Don’t go too overboard, yeah?”
“Oh, I’ll make you one of my specialties!”
Taehyung doesn’t join your enthusiasm. Instead, he scowls. “Specialties? ___, when did you-”
You hop into the house, not listening anymore. Once he gets a taste of your drink, his grumpy face will ask for another one instead of grumbling about your recklessness.
~
You don’t know what Taehyung and Jungkook are up to, but you hope they took your advice seriously when you told them to put on sunscreen if they want to spend more time outside.
You’re fresh out of a shower. The steam in your bathroom follows you into your bedroom – despite the hot temperatures, you can’t bring yourself to shower with cold water.
With a fluffy towel around you and your kitty ears headband on, you poke your head into your wardrobe to search for clothes.
You just fetched a cute pair of panties when you hear your door fly open.
“Taehyung needs a charger can you-”
Jungkook immediately shuts up.
Your panties slip from your fingers. His eyes move aimlessly over your body until he realises what he’s doing. Flustered, he turns his head around and sees the door wide open. Jungkook quickly closes it, and you don’t know why – maybe he doesn’t want anyone seeing you like this, you think he mentioned earlier that Namjoon was gonna come over too, or maybe he doesn’t want someone seeing him in this untimely situation.
Your cheeks feel on fire. “He needs a phone charger?” you ask when he shifts his gaze back at you.
“Yeah.” You almost giggle at the way he tries not to look down at your body. He already had trouble with that in the backyard.
You pad through your room to find your charger.
“I’m not sure where I put it.” You feel his eyes on you and inevitably, your entire body gradually starts feeling hot. You bend down to take a peek under your bed, tightly holding the towel in front of your chest to keep it from sliding down, but you come up empty-handed.
Jungkook clears his throat. “You know – I think he’ll be fine. If he doesn’t find his I can get mine from home.”
Returning to him, you quickly snatch your panties from the ground and throw them back into your wardrobe.
“Maybe I left it in the living room,” you say, eyes trailing over his bare chest. If he’s not subtle about staring, you won’t be either.
“I’ll tell him to look there.”
You nod. And he nods. But no one moves.
“That looks cute.” He nods towards your headband.
“Oh.” You touch the soft material of your headband. “Thank you.”
“I probably should head back.”
“You really want to leave?”
That elicits a surprised snort from him. “Do you want me to stay?” His eyebrows shoot up.
“I dunno.” You toy with the front of your towel. “Maybe?”
The crooked smile that appears on his face gives you the last push. You’ve got Jungkook alone in your room in nothing but his swim shorts – you'd be a fool not to try.
His eyes are locked on your fingers playing with your towel. Jungkook takes a step towards you. When he raises his tatted arm and gently outlines the curve of your waist with his fingertip, you let go of your towel. With a dull thud it pools around your feet.
“I-” Jungkook is speechless as he stares at your exposed body His doe eyes are wider than you’ve ever seen them. He averts his gaze to your face, pointing his thumb to the door. His mouth parts, but no words come past them.
“Don’t leave.” A little frown scrunches your face. “Do you want to leave?”
“We shouldn’t-” Jungkook shakes his head, eyes furtively glimpsing at your body again before lifting them up. “You sure?” he asks. “You want this?” Hesitantly, his tongue fiddles with his piercing.
You nod and reach for his hand, grabbing a few fingers to drag him closer to you.
“You want this?” he repeats. “Need you to say it. Please.” He’s staring deep into your eyes and you see the desire and restraint striving against each other in his. His question lingering in the air controls his mixed emotions.
“I want this.” You tug him even closer.
His longing glances are all over you – he can’t seem to dwell too long on one curve, he needs to memorise it all.
“Fuck it,” he whispers. And then he cups your jaw, roughly going in for a messy kiss.
You stumble a few steps back, but Jungkook catches you, his fingers dip into the soft skin of your waist. A sigh from you mingles into the kiss. You didn’t think kissing Jungkook would feel so good. But his lips are ridiculously smooth, and he moves his mouth in a fashion that has you yearning for more. Your hands vanish in his hair, teasingly pulling at his damp locks.
He pulls back, breathing heavy. “This is so wrong.” He nuzzles his head into your neck.
“He won’t know.” When you feel his teeth sinking into your skin, you yank him back. “He will if you're gonna suck hickeys on me.”
“You just taste so fucking good,” he mumbles.
You pepper kisses along his jaw before you slowly sink on your knees. The bulge in his shorts stares right at you. Giddy sparks flash through your eyes while you look up at Jungkook.
“You’re not doing this because you drank, right?” His knuckles brush over your cheek.
“Huh?” you feel dizzy, little pink hearts swell up in front of your eyes, the longer you stare into his dreamy face. When you register his question, you deny it with a strong shake of your head. “I’m not drunk.”
He tips your chin up. “You promise?”
“I didn’t put anything in my drink,” you assure him. “I promise.”
With a smile playing on your lips, you place a kiss on his belly button before pulling down his swim shorts. The pink hearts grow even bigger when his cock pops out. It’s a pretty cock – veiny and thick, his tip glistening with a teeny tiny dab of pre-cum. You’ve never been more excited to put a dick in your mouth.
You have one palm around his cock and guide his head to your mouth. You stick your tongue out and sweep it over his slit. The muscles on his abdomen tense. Even the slightest reactions from him excites you, cheeks turning warm in eagerness.
A breathy moan escapes Jungkook at the feeling of your warm lips wrapped around his head and his fingers slide over your kitty ears headband to the back of your head. You like the feeling of his hand on you. It elicits a tingly sensation in your tummy. You take more of him, relaxing your throat as you go.
“Good girl.” His hushed praise has wetness pooling between your thighs. Your fist curled around his cock tightens fleetingly.
More quiet moans fill the room as you bob your head, tongue swirling around his length. You pull off his dick with a lewd sound and pump his cock while you suck on his balls. Jungkook’s head falls back, flaunting his pretty throat you’d die to adorn with your love bites all over.
Dragging your lips over his cock again, his palm pushes your head forward. Almost his entire length vanishes in your mouth and the corner of your eyes start shimmering with tears.
“Fuck, that’s right.” He holds you there, savouring the feeling of your lips pulled taut around his swollen cock. “Taking my cock so good.” When you retract with a gag, his thumb brushes your tear away. “But still too big, huh?”
“You wanna teach me how to take all of it?” You bat your eyes.
Jungkook grins, flashing you his bunny teeth. He glides his tip over your plush lips and to your cheek. “Think you could take it all?”
“If you teach me well enough.” Your palms rest against his muscular thighs. You squeeze them and your mouth turns round in awe of their firmness.
He taps his cock on your face a couple times. “Another time, princess. Just wanna fuck your mouth right now.” Jungkook presses his dick on your mouth. “Open.”
With his cock back in your mouth, he starts moving his hips. He doesn’t force his cock in too far, just enough to have you teary eyed.
“Scoot over there.” His voice his husky as he pulls his dick from your mouth, it distracts you a little from what he’s instructed you to do until Jungkook nudges your shoulder and nods his chin to the back. You crawl backwards on your knees, palms on his thighs. When he’s satisfied, he leans in for a short kiss and you kneel comfortably on the plush carpet beneath you.
He strokes himself, eyebrows drawn together as he ogles your body through his hooded eyes. You could sit here for hours watching him play with himself. He’s just so hot. You love watching hot men do anything.
“Wanna fuck you,” he rasps, words laced with thick, deep lust. He pushes his hair back before it falls prettily into his face. “Can I fuck you?”
Unbeknownst to him, you would do anything he asked you to do now.
When you raise to your feet Jungkook asks, “Can you keep quiet?”
Offence is written on your face as you pad to your nightstand. “Don’t worry. This isn’t the first time I’ve snuck a boy into my room.”
“Who would’ve thought you’re such a dirty girl, hm?” He snatches the condom from your drawer before you can reach for it. He’s practised in tearing the wrapper open and rolling it over his cock. “Bend over your desk for me.”
You prop yourself up on your elbows, arching your back for him. He shoves two fingers up your pussy and you have to bite down your lip to stifle a moan.
“So wet for me already.” Jungkook curls his fingers, and you can’t believe how fast he has your thighs trembling.
Withdrawing his fingers, he aligns his tip to your entrance. Jungkook gradually sinks his cock into you.
“Fuck, you’re big,” you whine, brows pinched together.
“You can take it.” Jungkook moves his hips while his fingers grip your ass, kneading the supple flesh. “Your pussy feels so fucking good – fuck.”
Jungkook fucks you fast – fucks you good, you think you already feel your high building up. He sneaks his around your body, pressing his palm on your tummy.
“You like this?” He puts pressure with his hand and your walls clamp around his cock. A moan escapes you. “Good girl,” he coos. “Wanna make you cum for me.”
“Don’t stop – please don’t stop,” you pant, shutting your eyes closed. Your elbows give in and you rest your arms on the desk.
Jungkook’s cock feels undeniably good, rubbing against your sweet spot and making you see stars while you uncontrollably utter tiny moans.
“Gonna cum around my cock?” Jungkook hand collides against your butt. “Be a good girl and cum for me.”
Your climax consumes you in lightning speed. It swamps your wholly, tears well up in your eyes. Your legs are wobbly, but Jungkook has a safe hand around you.
“That’s a good girl,” he whispers.
His hand on your tummy flies up to your tits, rolling them around in his palm while relentlessly fucking you through your high.
“Has any sneaky link made you cum this fast before?” His voice is tinted in something you can’t quiet pinpoint. It’s deep, fierce.
“Nu-uh.” You’re dizzy and breathless, can’t think straight.
“Good.” He lands a smack on your ass.
His breathing intensifies, cock throbbing in your pussy. Pressing his forehead against your shoulder blade, his husky moans fill your ear. Your eyes roll. There’s nothing hotter than men moaning – especially when it’s Jungkook.
With a final thrust he spills his cum inside the condom. He exhales shakily and the tiniest whine falls from his lips. “Fuck.” Both his hands run over the slope of your ass. Jungkook plants a thoughtless kiss on the nape of your neck. “Fucking you might be my favourite now.”
“Found a new favourite summer activity besides throwing me into the pool?” You smile tiredly, peering over your shoulder.
“No – I’m talking favourite activity in general.” He absent-mindedly roams his palms across your back and down to your butt.
A giddy feeling unfurls in your chest. “Well, don’t tell Tae that.”
“Fuck, I should head downstairs.” Jungkook pulls his cock out, coaxing a little whine from you “You have a bin here?”
“In my bathroom.”
While Jungkook gets rid of the condom, you wrap yourself up in the towel again. You need another shower before putting on clothes.
When he steps out, he quickly throws on his swim shorts. “You gonna take a shower?”
“Yeah...need to fix this.”
Genuine confusion spreads on his face. “You look pretty.” With an endearing smile, dimples out and doe eyes sparkling he adds, “Always.”
Something really tightly wraps around your heart. “Thanks.” Your teeth sink into your bottom lip to stop your smile from growing.
The doorbell rings downstairs.
“Oh, is that Joon?” you ask joyfully. “I need him to recommend me some books again! I missed him so much.”
“He has a girlfriend,” Jungkook tells you.
You frown. You’re not stupid – obviously you know he has one. You’ve seen the pictures he shared on his Instagram stories. What kinda guy goes to a ceramic painting place? That was obviously a date.
“I know.”
When Namjoon’s loud voice screaming for Jungkook reaches your ears, your tummy churns.
“You need to leave.” You push Jungkook towards the door. He opens it and swiftly walks out.
“Hey, Namjoon, is that you?” Jungkook yells.
As you watch Jungkook leave your room, you want him back immediately. It feels unfair to get a taste of what his kisses and touches feel like only to have them taken away.
But deep down you know you two can’t repeat this. You wouldn’t be able to keep it from your brother. Eventually, Taehyung would figure it out.

friends to ???
slight angst & implied flirting
jk is attentive and nonchantly clingy ,, oc is a little oblivious ,, slight tension
note: yeah . let's keep this party goinggggg
//
the meeting has been going on for nearly an hour.
misa is at the front, flipping through slides, voice steady as she explains fundraiser logistics. taehyung, seated beside her, interrupts occasionally—adding last-minute details misa definitely did not approve. you hear yoongi sighing under their breath and jin yawning.
you keep your head down, fingers moving over the keyboard, taking notes like you always do. misa is intelligent and detail-oriented but sometimes… a little too detail oriented. as you type away, you don’t notice the door swinging open until the shift in the room tells you to.
jimin enters first, hoodie loose over his frame, fingers combing through his hair like that’s an excuse for being late. jungkook follows, hands in his pockets, silver jewelry glinting under the dim reserved confrence room lights.
misa barely pauses, unimpressed. “meeting started 30 minutes ago.”
jimin grins. “yeah, and? bet you’re still introducing the topics.”
taehyung snorts. misa sighs. the usual.
jungkook doesn’t say anything, just moves toward the empty chair and drags across to sit beside you. hobi shifts, allowing jungkook more space like it’s the most natural thing in the world. jungkook then drops into the seat, leans back, hoodie bunched up slightly at his waist. his cologne lingers—warm, familiar.
he doesn’t greet you.
he rarely does.
you don’t look at him either.
you rarely do.
but your spine straightens, just a little. and he gulps, preparing his voice in case you initiate conversation.
you don’t.
as the meeting continues, misa’s voice blends into the hum of the projector. everyone is focused in their own way—yet jungkook stays silent and distracted.
he watches you.
how your blinking slows. how you rub at your temple, trying to focus. how he knows your pinky twitch just a little too well. how it’s all a tell.
then, suddenly, everyone’s focus interrupts with the quiet pop of a yakult opening.
you pause, glancing to your side.
jungkook is holding it out to you, nonchalant.
you blink at him.
he leans in slightly, voice low. “is your blood sugar low again?”
you hesitate before shrugging.
“maybe. thanks.”
you take it.
the plastic feels cold against your palm. as you sip, jungkook shifts—one arm braced against the table, the other reaching forward. before you can react, his fingers brush against your laptop, dragging it toward him.
“what are you doing?”
he doesn’t answer, just starts typing where you left off.
Tumblr media
the meeting wraps up not long after.
misa is yapping about a few last minute reminders as hobi stretches with a groan.
“holy fuck. longest hour of my life.”
“you say that every time,” taehyung hums, packing up his things.
“because it’s true.”
happily, jimin nudges him. “boba?”
taehyung shakes his head. he rubs circles on his tummy and slouches. “nah. i need real food. pork belly anyone?”
“i want jjampong,” hobi wines.
nam joon shivers. “no. i hate seafood. let’s get pork belly.”
misa and jin pout at everyone. “we’re craving jjajangmyeon.”
sure enough, it doesn’t take long before others join in the conversation and begin to discuss food options. the conversation sweeps them out of the room, leaving you and jungkook alone.
jungkook shifts beside you, slow, casual.
“did you walk here?”
you glance at him. “i did.”
he tilts his head. “have you eaten dinner?”
you think for a moment.
“…i think so.”
jungkook raises a brow.
“you think so?” he huffs a quiet laugh, shaking his head. “not good enough.”
before you can protest, he reaches for your bag, slinging it over his shoulder like it’s his. you don’t say anything. instead, you follow him out of the door. outside, misa quirks a brow at you two.
“where are you two going? on a date?”
jungkook doesn’t even glance back at misa.
“yeah, i’ll kiss her goodnight too.”
Tumblr media
the restaurant jungkook picks is tucked into a quiet street, small but cozy. you slip into a booth while jungkook orders without asking, like he already knows what you’d want. soon, the sizzle of meat fills the air. he flips the pieces with practiced ease, one hand resting against the table, the other moving fluidly with the tongs.
you watch, head propped up against your palm.
“can i pay?” you ask eventually.
jungkook doesn’t look up. “for what?”
“this.”
he finally meets your eyes, amused. “mm. one yakult is worth plates of meat?”
you shrug at him. “i mean… i have to do something.”
he laughs under his breath, shaking his head.
“eat. do that for me.”
Tumblr media
jungkook pays.
you couldn't stop him and there was no way he'd let you even try.
as he drives you home, the car hums softly as the city slips past. the streets are quiet, bathed in the soft glow of streetlights, and neither of you speak much, but the silence is easy. settled.
when he pulls up in front of your place, he doesn’t say anything at first. just watches as you unbuckle your seatbelt, reaching for your bag in the backseat.
then—
“text me when you’re inside.”
you pause, fingers curling over the strap of your bag.
“you can see me walking in—”
“text me.” jungkook says.
“why?”
he tilts his head at you. then, he offers you half a smile and a lazy shrug.
“why not?”
you don’t know if you imagine it, but his lips twitch, just barely. you clear your throat and shift.
“is this the part where you kiss me goodnight?”
jungkook smirk falls. it curves into a smile. he tilts his head at you again, a little confused but also a little impressed with your playfulness. so, he laughs and so do you. you open his car door and step out. after you walk up to your front door, you hear his car pull away only after the lock clicks behind you.
and when you slip off your shoes, setting your bag down, you exhale.
then, your phone ringer dings.

CLASSROOM 3-B PART 2
Ahn Yujin x Male OC
Tumblr media
AN: Here's Part 2 of the Vampire Ahn Yujin story! Hope yall like this one as much as the first!♥️
PART 1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The town forgot Y/N quickly.
At first, there was a flurry of police reports, late-night news segments, and concerned PTA meetings. The school held a memorial in his honor—framed photo on a desk, candles flickering in the gymnasium. Some students cried. Most didn’t. They were too used to it by then.
Another disappearance. Another name whispered, then erased.
But not for me.
I was Kang Doyun. And Y/N was my best friend.
He was the one who laughed at my awful jokes, stayed up late grinding ranked matches with me, and shared every stupid conspiracy theory he uncovered like it was gospel. He was also the one who called me three hours before he vanished.
“Doyun… if I disappear—no. When I disappear—it’s because of her.”
“Who? What are you talking about—”
“Ahn Yujin.”
His voice had trembled. Not with fear—but conviction.
“She’s not human.”
And then the line went dead.
I tried calling back. Dozens of times. Nothing. I messaged him all night. No response.
Two days later, his parents filed a report. His seat was empty. And just like that, Y/N became another one of those names no one dared speak too loudly.
But I wasn’t about to let that be the end of it.
So I did what he would’ve done.
I transferred.
The school hadn’t changed much.
The gates still creaked. The hallways still echoed. The walls still smelled faintly of bleach and dust, like someone always cleaning up a mess they couldn’t quite erase.
I walked into Class 3-B, bag slung over my shoulder, heart pounding against my ribs like it was trying to escape.
I spotted the empty desk first.
Second row, by the window. Still untouched. Still his.
The teacher barely looked up as she introduced me.
“This is Kang Doyun. He’ll be joining us for the rest of the term. Please be kind.”
Polite clapping. A few glances. Then silence.
I took the seat behind his.
And that’s when I felt it—eyes on me.
I looked up.
There she was.
Ahn Yujin.
Beautiful. Polished. Poised. Like a perfectly carved doll with just a hint of movement.
Her gaze met mine, unblinking.
She smiled.
“Hi,” she said, voice soft and sweet. “Welcome to the class.”
I smiled back. “Thanks.”
I held her gaze a little longer than I should have, just to see what would happen.
She didn’t look away.
The first few days, I played dumb.
I took notes. Asked boring questions. Ate lunch alone on the rooftop like some anime protagonist. But underneath it all, I was watching.
Yujin was... magnetic. The way students made space for her in the halls. The way teachers praised her like she was a gift. The way she always knew the answer, but never raised her hand unless called on. Perfect attendance. Perfect scores. But no one ever saw her eat. No one ever saw her leave the building, either.
And every time I asked about Y/N, people froze.
Even the ones who used to be his friends.
It was like a spell—his name didn’t just make people uncomfortable.
It made them afraid.
And Yujin… she started getting closer.
Little things. Passing by my desk, fingers brushing my shoulder like it was an accident. Offering to help with notes I didn’t need. Complimenting my handwriting.
It was subtle. Almost sweet.
Almost.
One evening, I lingered behind after school.
Pretended I forgot a book. Waited until the halls were empty, then followed her.
She didn’t take the main gate.
She slipped through a side exit, across the track field, and into the woods behind the school.
I stayed low, boots crunching softly through fallen leaves.
She didn’t look back once.
Eventually, she stopped in front of a house.
Normal. Modest. Two stories, pale walls, and a flickering porch light.
She opened the door.
Didn’t knock.
Didn’t use a key.
Just walked in like she was the only one who mattered.
I waited ten minutes.
Then I followed.
Her house was wrong.
Not messy. Not haunted. Just... wrong.
Too clean. Too quiet. Like no one had ever lived there.
I crept through the front hallway, stepping over the shoes that weren’t hers, past a photo of a family that looked too faded to be real. I moved toward the back, toward the door that stood slightly ajar.
I pushed it open—
And my breath caught.
Lockers. Just like Y/N described. Real, metal lockers. Labeled with initials.
I saw his jacket first.
Hanging neatly on a hook, like he might return to claim it.
His name tag. His scent. His broken phone.
And something else.
A notebook.
His notebook.
I picked it up, hands trembling. Pages filled with scribbles, notes, theories. Everything he’d learned before he vanished. Diagrams. Maps. Drawings of red eyes.
My name was on the last page.
“If anyone finds this… Doyun, run. Or burn this place to the ground.”
Too late.
Behind me, the door creaked.
I turned slowly.
Yujin stood in the doorway.
Her eyes were glowing.
“Curious,” she whispered, stepping forward. “Just like him.”
My pulse spiked.
“I knew it was you,” I said, backing away. “I know what you did to him.”
“Do you?” she asked, tilting her head. “Because I don’t think you really understand what he was to me.”
Her expression darkened. Her voice dropped to a whisper.
“He was special.”
“He was dead,” I growled.
She blinked. Slowly. “Not at first.”
I bolted.
Past her. Down the hall. Toward the door—
She was there.
I didn’t even see her move.
One second she was behind me, the next, in front.
“You can’t outrun me,” she said calmly. “But you can survive. If you stop digging.”
I raised the knife I’d hidden in my sleeve.
“Then kill me,” I spat. “Like you killed him.”
Something flickered in her expression.
Sadness?
No. Hunger.
“I don’t want to kill you,” she whispered. “I want you to chase me.”
And that’s how the game began.
She let me leave that night.
Let me run.
But every time I turned a corner, she was there. Smiling. Watching. Waiting.
In the shadows.
In my dreams.
In the reflection of a train window.
At first, I thought I was imagining it.
Until I found her handwriting on my desk.
“Getting warmer.”
Until I found red petals in my locker.
Until I woke up one night to find her sitting on my windowsill, legs crossed, eyes glowing softly in the dark.
She didn’t move.
Just smiled.
Then she was gone.
It’s been three weeks.
I haven’t stopped running.
I haven’t stopped planning.
She thinks I’m breaking.
She’s wrong.
Because this time, I’m not just some curious kid looking for answers.
I’m the storm she invited.
And I don’t care what she is.
Monster. Demon. Vampire.
I’m going to find her.
And I’m going to make her bleed.
Doyun called it unfinished business.
The forest was silent.
Only the wind stirred the leaves, brushing them against each other like the whispers of ghosts. The moon hovered low, pale and heavy in the sky, casting long shadows across the clearing.
Doyun crouched low behind a fallen tree, hands trembling as he tightened the final wire.
Every inch of this place had been prepared. Every snare, every line of salt, every sigil carved with obsessive precision. He’d read every book he could find, hunted through cursed forums, contacted whispering voices online that asked for payment in things he could never repay.
And all of it led to this.
“She’s not invincible,” he muttered under his breath, sweat beading on his temple. “She can bleed.”
At the center of the clearing stood an old wooden chair, its legs soaked in consecrated oil, bolted to a rusted iron plate. Chains hung loose beside it, blessed and etched with runes that bit into the metal like teeth. The ground beneath was a trap circle—a fusion of shamanic binding, Catholic warding, and arcane magic no priest would approve of.
And bait.
A worn photo of Y/N, folded and pinned to the seat.
He waited.
And waited.
The air turned cold.
Leaves rustled—but not from wind.
Then she appeared.
Effortless. Silent.
Ahn Yujin stepped out from the trees, barefoot, her school uniform perfectly neat, like she'd stepped out of class five minutes ago. Her eyes scanned the clearing, pausing when they landed on the photo.
“…Y/N,” she said softly, walking toward the chair.
Doyun didn’t breathe.
Her hand reached out—fingers brushing the picture.
That was the trigger.
The trap exploded around her.
A burst of white fire surged up the circle, and the blessed chains lashed around her limbs like snakes, pinning her to the chair. A high-pitched shriek erupted from her throat, raw and animalistic, as smoke curled off her skin where the runes burned.
Doyun rose from the shadows, stepping into the light with a knife in his hand—curved, silver, glowing faintly with holy symbols carved into its hilt.
Yujin thrashed, veins bulging, red eyes burning bright with fury and pain.
“You,” she hissed. “You planned this.”
“I told you,” Doyun said coldly, walking toward her, “I’m not like him. I came to end this.”
She bared her fangs, snarling—but she couldn’t move. The chains held. The runes flared brighter the closer he got.
Doyun raised the knife, aiming for her heart.
“Goodbye, Yujin.”
And then—
“Wait…”
Her voice cracked.
Different.
Soft.
Like a frightened girl’s.
Doyun froze.
“I didn’t want to kill him,” she whispered, her eyes brimming with tears. “I—I loved him. I didn’t mean to… it was a mistake. Please.”
His grip on the knife wavered.
It wasn’t the monster speaking now.
It was her.
The girl everyone thought they knew. The girl who sat in class with a gentle smile. The girl Y/N couldn’t stop thinking about.
“I don’t want to die,” she whimpered. “I’m scared…”
The blade trembled in his hand.
“What… what are you doing?” he muttered, throat tight.
“Please…” she begged, tears sliding down her cheeks, mixing with the blood from her burning skin. “Don’t hurt me…”
He hesitated.
Just for a second.
Just one second too long.
Her eyes snapped open—cold and gleaming.
And then she moved.
With a screech of metal and an unnatural jerk, she lunged forward—chains still burning her skin—but her claws reached him first.
They tore through his side, white-hot pain flooding his nerves.
“Gah—!”
Doyun stumbled back, blood gushing from the gash across his ribs. He dropped to the ground, crawling away, vision blurring. The forest spun around him as his body screamed for rest, for escape.
Behind him, Yujin dragged herself free.
The runes weakened. The chains cracked.
She was burned. Bleeding. Limbs twitching. But she didn’t stop.
She crawled after him—gritting her teeth, eyes blazing with hunger and rage.
“You… almost fooled me,” Doyun gasped, inching backward, one arm pressed to his wound.
Yujin was right behind him now. Her breath hit his skin. Her body pressed against his back, teeth grazing his neck.
“I should’ve killed you sooner,” she hissed.
And then—
He twisted.
In his shaking hand, the silver knife flared one last time, the holy blessing activated by her proximity.
He plunged it backward into her chest.
Straight through her heart.
Her scream tore through the forest like a shockwave.
Not just pain.
But betrayal.
Yujin clawed at his shoulder, fangs gnashing—but her strength was already failing. Her body convulsed, dark veins spreading from the wound. Smoke hissed from her mouth. Her eyes—those hypnotic red eyes—flickered.
“…Doyun,” she breathed, brokenly. “I… I could’ve loved you.”
“I’m not here for love,” he whispered, his voice hoarse. “I’m here for justice.”
She collapsed.
Her body twitched once.
Then fell still.
The light in her eyes faded.
Her skin cracked like porcelain, crumbling at the edges.
And then, Ahn Yujin was no more.
Only ashes remained—scattered by the wind.
Doyun lay there for a long time, blood pooling beneath him, stars spinning overhead.
He closed his eyes.
And for a moment, he swore he could still hear her voice in the breeze.
“You’re mine now.”
But it was only the wind.
Only the silence left behind after a monster dies.
Only the price of vengeance.
lowkey need logan talking me thru it 😖
Tumblr media
oh my god i know, i imagine him just snapping and fucking the reader like crazy. i just know he’d be so vocal during sex. like all that anger omfg. introducing my love peaches as my lil oc for these requests :)
logan talking you through it +18
you’d always known logan had this deep anger inside of him. he tried his hardest to never let you experience it up close. which was why you decided to make a game of it. do whatever you could to make him so mad that he wouldn’t be able to stop himself. you loved playing games, you always found yourself on top when it came to them.
you started small, pulling away from him in affection. logan’s deep fear of losing you left him constantly needing some form of affection from you to remind him that you weren’t going anywhere. this blew up in your face faster than anything else you could do when he came home after a mission with wade and threw you over his shoulder grumbling something like ‘jus need to feel you’
so you went big.
logan had left earlier for another mission. now usually you’d stay home like the good girl you were but you were dedicated to your cause so you decided to wear your shortest dress and tallest heels and went out. shooting a quick text to vanessa asking her to meet you at the bar.
you thought for a moment maybe you should at least text him and tell him you wouldn’t be home when he got back but decided against it. you sure did love self-destructive behavior.
‘hey hot stuff’ the soft voice of vanessa rang in your ears ‘last thing i expected was a text from you’
‘oh you know ness sometimes i like to switch it up’
‘mhm, you do realize wolvies going to lose his mind when he can’t find you’
a small smirk grazed your face as you grabbed her hand leading her into the bar ‘that’s exactly what i want’
‘you nasty little thing, i’m so proud’ she laughed calling that bartender over ‘two gin and tonics please, so what is it you want from him’
‘i want him to fuck me senseless’ you state with a smile, ‘ i mean your telling me that he doesn’t have it in him? he’s like two hundred pounds of solid muscle and anger for once i just want to be thrown around ya know?’
grabbing your drink you bring it to your lips as you look around the bar ‘nothing makes him more mad than other men’
‘well if you want to see him murder someone i say go for it, you’d probably find that hot anyways’ she teased grabbing her phone ‘oh look it’s wade’ she said flashing you her screen
‘you enjoy that, i’ll be mingling’ you laughed wiggling your fingers in goodbye, you quickly found yourself at the end of the bar ordering another drink, swallowing thickly you felt a bad vibe in your stomach maybe this was a bad idea.
‘what’s a pretty lady like you doing here alone’ a dark voice said from behind you.
as soft gasp left your throat as his hand touched your lower back. yup, definitely a bad idea.
‘oh um, waiting for my friend’ you croak out looking over his shoulder eyes darting around the room looking for vanessa.
‘yea and where is she now’ he said looking me up and down ‘you know a girl like you shouldn’t be here’
‘and why’s that?’ you question your grip on your glass tightening when he somehow moves closer than he was before.
‘you should be home waiting for your man to come home and take care of ya, doesn’t that sound nice’ his voice dropping octaves as his grip gets tighter on your hip.
suddenly the room got smaller and the air got thicker. what the hell were you doing? this isn’t you and your moment of confidence ran away the second another man started talking to you. you knew your place, you knew where you belonged and it wasn’t here.
‘normally that’s where she’d be’ the gruff voice of your boyfriend echoed around the room.
letting go of the breath you didn’t know you were holding you loosen your grip on the glass quickly getting off the bar stool and away from the man.
‘lo’ you start grabbing the sleeve of his jacket.
‘don’t’ he barked out, his eyes held an anger you’d never seen before and that scared you.
but wasn’t this what you wanted?
he grabbed your upper arm pulling you out of the bar and towards your car.
‘logan’ you tried again
‘stop talking’ he snarled opening your door and pushing you in before moving to the drivers seat. ‘i leave you alone for one fucking night and you decide to go and be a slut huh’
‘that isn’t what i was doing logan’ you argue back turning in your seat to face him as he pulls the car away from the bar.
‘did i say you could talk?’ he asks you as if it was the dumbest question in the world. your silence making him angrier.
‘did i say you could talk?’ he asks again impatiently his hand tightening around the wheel.
shaking your head no, you subconsciously push your thighs together to create some friction. hoping your boyfriend doesn’t notice the growing wetness in your panties with each word he speaks.
the car ride back to the apartment you shared was filled with silence, the tension growing in your stomach as you watched his jaw set and his hands almost break the wheel. not to mention the heavy breathing he couldn’t seem to get under control.
you knew you were in for it the second the door to the apartment closed and he pushed you roughly against it.
‘this is what you wanted huh bubs?’ he groans out slotting his thigh between your legs pushed perfectly against your heat. ‘could smell you the whole fuckin’ car ride’
‘lo…’ you moan as he attacks your neck, feeling his canines against your carotid as he harshly bites down to shut you up.
‘i’m here wondering if it was me that did this to you or that fuckhead at the bar’ he voiced roughly his hands moving under your thighs to pick you up. ‘hmm?’ he hums cocking his head.
‘you logan, only you’ the breathless words leave your mouth without a second thought. pushing your body forward to kiss him he leaned far away not letting you.
‘i’m in control here darlin’ not you’
holding you close to him he locks his lips with yours. the kiss nothing but messy, filled with teeth, tongue, and spit. he walks you to the bedroom throwing you on the bed hovering over you. your thighs pressed together did little to ease the need in your core. ‘cmon honey gunna let me show you how i’ll ruin any other man for you’
‘mhm’ you moan out when he continues his attack on your body, leaving trails of kisses down your chest stopping at the peak of your breast. ‘please’ you say closing your eyes
you heard it before you felt it. the sounds of his claws tearing your dress apart. very few times had his claws ever made an appearance during sex mostly being out of his control.
his mouth laps at your nipple, sucks, biting as his other hand moves down to your heat. ‘so wet already darlin’ i’ve barely touched you’ he cups his rough calloused hand against your cunt, his middle finger prodding your hole lightly.
squirming under him your rendered silent when he forces two fingers into you, pushing and pulling back and forth you moan out his name like a prayer.
‘cmon use your words’ he smiles down at you ‘feels good doesn’t it’ his head dipping down to meet with your neck again, his breath on your ear as he bites down.
‘just remember your mine’ his gruff voice bounced around my head as his ministrations came harder and faster his thumb meeting my clit in haste. ‘you gunna cum for me peaches’
you felt the familiar tension in your lower stomach, like a band that was waiting to snap. your pussy clenching around his two fingers you throw you head back moaning out waiting for that snap.
only for it to never come. your eyes widen as you lean up on your elbows looking at the seemingly put together man. ‘what the fuck logan’
‘watch it baby’ he counters getting off the bed and removing his clothes ‘you didn’t think i was gonna let you off that easy’
you watch as he walks over to the side of the bed grabbing your leg and pulling you forward. ‘open up hun’ he commands grabbing a fist full of your hair.
you eye his large cock placed in his right hand. god it was beautiful. you could trace every vein with your eyes closed that’s how well acquainted you were. the weight of his member made it band downward instead of bouncing up to his belly.
opening your mouth and sticking your tongue out he eased himself into you. ‘just like that…’ he groaned out, not giving you a second to adjust he picks his pace up. hips thrusting forward at a fast rate, his hand in your hair the only semblance of balance you feel in that moment. ‘you look so pretty like this’
moving your hand down your body you fingers barley touch your clit before his rough hand wraps around your wrists pinning it above you. ‘so fucking impatient’ he groans with one last thrust to your mouth before pulling out completely.
his hand that’s wrapped in your hair pulls your head up so he’s met with your face. ‘why you crying peaches? m’ i being to rough for ya’ he mocks before dropping you on the bed slotting himself between your legs.
he lines himself up with your hole before roughly grabbing your hips and thrusting in. the pace he sets is relentless, borderline inhuman as he stretches you out leaving you a babbling mess of ‘yes baby oh god’
‘fuck peaches your so fuckin’ tight takin’ all of me’ he groans his grip on your hips sure to leave marks. ‘such a little fuckin’ slut for me’
feeling your orgasm climbing to its peak you feel your breath getting heavier and your hands clamping onto to anything and everything to stabilize you.
‘be a good girl and cum for me yea’ he commands his rough grip moving up towards you neck with pressure. just the feeling of him absolutely railing the fuck out of you is enough to make you cum but add in the sudden choking and your a goner.
you cum with a scream slamming your eyes shut and your nails digging into logan’s back. it’s not long before his thrusts slow and his hips stutter does he cum inside of you with moans in your ear.
pulling out of you he lays his back against the bed pulling you close. ‘you love playing games don’t ya peaches’ he laughs out against your head.
Perhaps avoiding any talk about the topic of his missing queen had not been the correct idea. He should have listened to his advisors when they spoke of marriage, of the betrothal offers from the Northern lords, of the suggestion to take a Free Folk woman as wife to unite their people. But he had been too focused on trying to deal with becoming king - again - he had brushed them all off. And this was the punishment.
He stood in the courtyard, his remaining siblings beside him, waiting anxiously for the procession to arrive. The entire castle had gathered to greet the visitors from Casterly Rock, and to catch a glimpse of their new queen.
Horns blasted, and then the first soldiers arrived.
Their red and golden armour had not changed, and neither had the lion on their banners. Fewer men than expected accompanied the party, but all of that was forgotten when you rode in.
Cersei Lannister's oldest child, who had hidden in Casterly Rock for the entire war, staying far removed from the horror the rest of them had to suffer.
You were clad in rich fabrics, a dark red dress with golden embellishments, decorated with soft furs to keep yourself warm in the cold. Yet more peculiarly, you did not travel in a wheelhouse as your mother or any of the southern ladies would have done, but sat aside on a horse, its hide as white as the snow around them.
You would become his wife. You would become his queen
Your uncle, Tyrion Lannister, jumped off his own horse and approached him. They shook hands with a smile, and Jon was glad over the lack of proper manners.
“Your Grace.” Tyrion's voice sounded amused saying the title. “I am grateful for the invitation. And that you have accepted the proposal.”
“The North needs this alliance to heal,” he repeated the words of his council. “Just as the Westerlands.”
“That we do.” He beckoned someone forward. “May I introduce your betrothed? My niece, the Princess Y/N.”
You raised your hand, and he quickly took it to lay a kiss upon your knuckles.
“My princess, I am honoured.”
“As am I, your grace.”
Your words were polite yet cold, and he realised for the first time you might want this marriage even less than him.
He tried to grasp at something to say. “May I lead you to your chambers?”
You nodded, and closed your hand around his arm.
Perhaps he should have stayed, should have greeted the other lords and ladies as well, should have held a speech - whatever was expected of a king. But he wanted time alone with his bride, wanted to spend your first moments together without dozens of eyes watching them. And so he did not feel bad as he led you into the halls of his castle.
“Uh-” He cleared his throat. “You will receive your own chambers until the wedding, in order to get used to everything. Afterwards you will move into the Lord's chambers with me.”
You nodded, and said nothing.
You passed the main hall, where a wooden throne now eternally stood high above the rest.
“It must be strange,” he said, “being back here after all these years.”
You chuckled. “Strange indeed. The last time I was here, my family was still alive. Now there is only my uncle and me, the dwarven king and the forgotten princess.”
Your voice had become biting, accusatory. And he supposed you had a point.
“I apologise.” He did not dare look at you. “These last years must have been difficult.”
“They sent me away and never came for me,” you answered far too quickly. As if you had prepared it. “I am loyal to the Stark crown and will do my duty by it.”
He did not try to initiate another conversation until you had reached your chambers. And even then, the few words he spoke were only to inform you that a servant would be with you shortly. You seemed as if you wanted to tell him something - a thank, a question, a demand to leave you alone until the wedding the coming week - yet closed the door before any such thing could happen.
Tumblr media
You tried to forget him. Tried to ignore the reality of the situation whenever the thought passed your mind. Which was nonsense, you knew. But it was easier than facing the fact you would be marrying a total stranger in just a few, short days.
That first night, Winterfell held a feast to welcome you, and to introduce the castle and the entire North to their new queen.
Despite what would be expected of you, and despite knowing you would have to adhere to your betrothed's customs soon, you had decided on a blood red gown for the evening, while a golden tiara decorated your intricately braided hair.
One last desperate attempt to cling to your heritage. To not lose what remained of your family.
King Jon Stark already awaited you at the doors to the feast hall, clad in yet another set of black and brown leathers and a fur-lined cloak, this time, however, with a spiked iron crown on top of his dark curls.
He smiled at you, you smiled back, then you took his extended arm, and entered.
The few spots of red and gold were drowned out in a sea of Northmen, all staring at you. Judging you. None of them wanted a tyrant's daughter as their queen, a foreigner, an enemy. Neither did you, but what else was left for you in this world? You were your uncle's heir, yet only until he sired his own children. And afterwards, you would have nothing.
Best accept this marriage. It was certainly the best you could get.
King Jon held a short speech once they stood in front of their seats, thanking first his lords for joining him for this most wonderful occasion, then your uncle for brokering this much needed alliance between their kingdoms, and lastly you. For agreeing.
You smiled and curtsied, and hastily removed your hand from his arm once you were seated.
The food was agreeable, the ale not too bitter, and the constant chattering and even shouting from the wildlings bearable. You had to get used to all this, you reminded yourself, especially to the presence of the man beside you.
Jon, to his credit, had not tried to strike up a conversation yet, though the glances he threw in your direction burned on your skin. You would have to look at him eventually, you knew as much. Touch him, even. Lay with him. Perhaps speaking to him now might soften that experience later on.
But he was drawn into a conversation with your uncle before you could decide.
Sansa sat on your other side, beside her brother and two others you did not recognise. You grasped at something to say - something easy, and far removed from the terrors your families had inflicted on each other.
“I like your dress,” you said carefully, not daring to fully look into Sansa's face.
It was true, you did like her gown - dark blue and simple, with an intricately embroidered wolf just above her heart.
“Thank you. I made it myself a few years ago. I had too much on my hands to sew a completely new gown simply for this feast.”
“You enjoy making them yourself, I take it?” you asked, trying to keep the conversation going. “The last time I was here, you were so proud of what you made, it was all you could talk about for an entire course.”
“And all you could talk about was King's Landing, and how much I would like it there.”
Perhaps Sansa tried to start an argument, to find any excuse to convince her brother to break off the betrothal. Perhaps she wanted to guilt you into admitting fault for your family's actions. Or perhaps that was simply the only thing she remembered from that evening.
“I am sorry.” You stared at the rings on your fingers. “I should have warned you about Joffrey.”
You had been sent to Casterly Rock not long after the outbreak of the war - for safekeeping, so that the Baratheon crown could live on through you should disaster strike the rest of your family - but you had still witnessed the beginnings of your brother's cruelty towards Sansa.
“You couldn’t have known what he would do.”
“I grew up beside him. I knew him longer and better than most. What he did to you… I could have prevented it.”
“He would have punished you as well, had you tried.”
Jon had joined some of wildings further into the hall, and you could almost understand their words and cheers from your place at the main table, such was the volume they were speaking at. He looked comfortable with them.
“Your brother…” You hesitated. “What is he like?”
Your eyes stayed on him, even when Sansa eventually answered.
“He will not mistreat you, if that is what you fear.”
“No. I mean-” You chuckled half-heartedly. “That is all anyone tells me about him. He is good, he is kind, he is brave. It all sounds rather dull.”
“He was a bastard, then a brother of the Night's Watch. He still thinks he is undeserving of the crown, even though the Northerners have pronounced him their king twice now. He has already fought in more battles than most will in their entire lifetime. Such a thing is known to leave one scarred and withdrawn. Give him time, he will warm up to you eventually.”
Jon joined your side again after a while, with red cheeks and a small grin on his lips. Yet when he noticed your stare, he swallowed, shook his head slightly, and it had disappeared.
You almost wanted to tell him how cute it had looked.
“I am rather tired from the long ride,” you said instead. “Would it be terribly impolite by Northern customs to leave already?”
“No, not at all.” He stood up and offered you his arm. “Let me accompany you to your chambers.”
Conversations died when you passed.
The cold air hit you the moment you stepped out into the quiet of the night, and you could not stop the noticeable shiver running down your back, nor the slight shaking of your arms. You clenched your jaw and prepared yourself for an uncomfortable walk, when a cloak was suddenly laid around your shoulders.
Confused, you looked towards Jon.
“I apologise about the cold. I suppose it will take a while to fully get used to it.”
Then he realised he still had his hands laid on your arms, and he hastily dropped them, taking a step back for good measure.
You pulled the fabric tighter around yourself.
“Thank you, your grace.”
You did not touch each other again on the walk to your rooms, and you did not mind at all. Welcomed it, in fact. You would be forced to endure his hands soon enough, there was no reason to invite them sooner.
You thought about saying something once you reached your door - a thank, a question, an invitation to spend the following day with you. Yet all you did was hand him back his cloak, whisper a quick “Good Night”, and quickly close the door behind you.
Tumblr media
Be gentle with her. She has gone through a lot.
Tyrion's words echoed in his mind as he made his way to your chambers.
Your distance at the feast last night had surely been noted, he knew it had. Certain Northern lords - Manderly, Umber - were already looking for any excuse to oppose this marriage, he could not provide them with more reasons. You two would be seen conversing happily, spending time together, kissing if necessary. They would not punish you for his misgivings.
He knocked on your door, waited, and assumed for a moment you would ignore him, when he suddenly heard steps. Slow, careful, yet still. His back straightened on its own, and then you stood before him.
A soft green dress draped your body. Simple, without much embroidery, jewels, frills, or lace. Just a lone necklace hung around your neck.
You looked… beautiful.
“Your Grace.” You quickly pushed a strand of hair behind your ear. “Is something the matter?”
“No, I-” The light caught in your hair. He cleared his throat. “I was planning to check on the castle, make sure everything is working as intended. Would you like to accompany me?”
Best make you believe you would not put unnecessary burdens on his shoulders by agreeing to this walk, but simply to join what he was already doing.
Still… Even despite his efforts, you seemed ready to decline. Your fingers tightening in your dress, the trembling of your lips, the terror in your eyes-
“Yes.”
You quickly had a cloak slung around your shoulders and your hand around his arm, and so you set off.
Jon knew, of course, that you had only agreed because you were aware of your situation, much like him, and that you needed to play the game in order to survive. Your mother had taught you much.
Your walk through the castle led you past the kitchens, the feast halls, the smithery, the stables, the sept, the glass gardens. He explained everything as well as he could - what lead where, who worked where, whom you should talk to when faced with a problem. All while staring ahead, seldom sending a gaze your way.
You listened, nodded, smiled. You curtsied when encountering ladies and servants alike, picked up a stray flower you found in one of the hallways. And yet you also rarely spoke a word. Just a question here and there, a greeting, a polite agreement. A pretty thing on his arm.
Perhaps you were hiding. Perhaps this was simply who you were.
You walked through a door and outside, ending up on the pathways surrounding the training yard.
Northmen and wildlings sparred side-by-side, laughing and joking despite their thousands of years of animosity. Some had said their blossoming friendship was due to him - the man who had died to bring innocents south of the Wall - but he knew they attributed far too much to him. Facing death itself was enough to unite even the greatest of foes.
“Are they all living at Winterfell?”
He shook his head, then remembered you likely weren't looking at him. “No, they are not. Most of them are lords and their entourages, who will leave after the wedding. The wildlings are visiting as well, they are merely here to strengthen our alliance.”
His eyes wandered towards you for a short moment, to glance at you, see if you might express anything but polite interest. And… yes, perhaps that was indeed a small smile on your lips, and a sparkle in your eyes as you watched the children chase each other with sticks and wooden swords.
“I remember the last time I was here,” you said, lost in thought. “My brothers sparred with yours. Tommen was still far too young, so his fighting was more mindless stumbling in a set of armour that didn't quite fit him.”
“Do you miss your siblings?”
You nodded.
You continued your walk around the castle until you ended up in front of your chamber again.
“Thank you for accompanying me,” he said.
“Thank you for letting me.”
Then the door was shut before him once again.
Tumblr media
After an eternity of walking circles in your room, you had grabbed a blanket, a book, and hidden in a secluded spot in the glass gardens. Surrounded by flowers and vines that, if you squinted, reminded you at least a little of your home, you had finally felt at ease.
Walking around the castle the previous day had been gruelling. Everyone had stared, knowingly, judgingly, as if they blamed you for your family's crimes, for the dire state the North had been beaten into. And the worst thing was…
You didn't blame them.
Time passed in the safe space you had crafted for yourself, amidst the moondusts and dragon’s breaths and coldsnaps, lost in the words of your book.
Then steps drew near.
In your haste to jump off the cushioned bench, you threw over a flower pot, sending it tumbling to the ground. The bench almost tipped backwards, and you only narrowly kept it from crashing into the glass behind it.
No one could see you here. This was not your place, not your home, not yours to enjoy. You should have stayed locked away, deep inside the halls of Winterfell, with a dozen guards to line the way. Here there was no one. Just you. Alone.
If one of the lords found you here… You had seen their eyes the previous days, the glances and stares sent your way. Full of hatred. Lust. You knew them all - their meaning, their consequences. They would mean to punish you for what your family had done to them, and perhaps even find a way to stop this alliance and keep the king from wanting you. You needed to get away from here, back to your rooms, far away-
“Princess? Is everything alright?”
Jon stood amongst the plantlife, dressed in another set of black leathers. He looked down at you, concern etched across his face as he watched your hunched over form, kneeling in the dirt.
“Yes. Yes, everything is alright.” You stumbled over your words. “I- I apologise for this mess. I will clean it up right away and then-”
“Let me help you.”
His hands were calm, strong, cold as they brushed yours. He quickly had the flower pot - not broken, thank the gods - back on its pedestal, and helped you brush the dirt together.
“Thank you,” you said quietly.
“You would not believe the amount of things I have almost destroyed in this castle.” His chuckle reverberated in your chest, the sound low yet warm and inviting, and something shifted inside you.
“I doubt anyone would have noticed. Winterfell is even more contorted than Casterly Rock.”
And then he laughed, and you wanted to bottle up the sound and keep it locked away close to your heart.
“Maybe you could show it to me one day. After you have gotten used to your new life.”
You knew you should agree with him, tell him he need not be worried, and that you would be the nice and pleasing wife he desired. Yet something about your current position - sitting on the ground so close next to each other, your fingers mere breaths apart, staring into his dark eyes - made you whisper, “I don’t know if I ever will.”
He cocked his head. “Why would you say that?”
“Just look at me. I don’t belong here - I don’t belong anywhere. Your lords know that, and you would be much more suited marrying one of their daughters. Not the child of a foreign tyrant.”
Jon looked at you, eyes fluttering across your face, your body, your dress, seemingly trying to find an answer to the questions mounting in his head. You turned your head away, yet he quickly caught your chin with his fingers, and forced you to meet his gaze again.
“I don’t want anyone else.”
His breath brushed across your cheek, his lips so close to yours you felt the heat radiating off them.
“After our wedding,” you whispered, “I want you to stop lying to me. I get enough of that pity from my uncle.”
And so you quickly stood up, and ran away.
Tumblr media
You had stayed hidden in your room since your interaction the previous day. Or perhaps, simply stayed hidden from him.
He was slowly running short on ideas to make you warm up to him. Nothing, it seemed, that he said or did made you more comfortable around him, nothing caused you to open up to him, nothing led to you seeking him out.
Perhaps he should give up. Commit himself to a sad, lonely life, with an emotionless shell of a person beside him, until the cold finally returned to claim him once more. Perhaps it was what he deserved.
He sat up in his bed; slowly, breathing laboured, skin covered in sweat. The chamber was still wrapped in darkness, with only a sliver of the moon’s silver light falling past the drapes. He buried his face in his hands, then quickly stood up, slipped into a tunica and some boots, and disappeared into Winterfell’s deserted hallways.
No one was awake during this time of the night. The most he would ever encounter during his semi-regular walks around his castle was a stray rat, or a cat running after it.
Ghost had joined him at some point, trotting by his side like a white shadow, the fur cold and soft underneath his scarred hand. He was glad for his direwolf, glad for the quiet company, glad to not be alone in the darkness. Then he stepped on one of the walkways overlooking the main courtyard, and almost had his breath knocked out of him.
A soft breeze wafted through your hair, open for the very first time in his presence, the moonlight illuminating the strands and making them appear almost silver. Despite the freezing cold you wore no cloak, just a simple, dark blue dress that hugged your frame.
You looked… ethereal.
Your blue eyes settled onto him, and he nearly stumbled backwards.
“I- I apologise. I will leave-”
“No.” Your gaze settled on the yard beneath you once again. “It’s alright.”
He slowly, carefully walked towards you, yet made sure to stop a good distance away from you, and then followed your gaze into the abandoned courtyard. Usually brimming with life, now dark and empty.
“I apologise about my behaviour yesterday,” you almost said in a whisper. “You were merely trying to be nice towards your betrothed, and I should not have run away.”
“I understand why you did, and do not hold it over your head.” He buried his fingers into the frost-covered banister.
You stood there, in uncomfortable silence afterwards, neither knowing what to say, if to say anything.
“I suppose…” you said, then hesitated. “My mother sent me away and never came for me. Even as my siblings started dying, even after your brother had been killed, even after my uncles had been defeated, she left me at Casterly Rock, never sending a letter, never visiting. Then she crowned herself queen, and the only way I found out was because my uncle turned up after the war to tell me. And to tell me she had died, and that the Seven Kingdoms were no more.” She took a shaky breath. “I fear that if I trust someone again, they will do the same.”
He had had no idea- He had always thought you had hid in Casterly Rock, looking down upon them as they were slaughtered on battlefields. That you had been essentially held captive had never once crossed his mind as a possibility.
Be gentle with her. She has gone through a lot.
“I am not your mother. You will never experience anything like it again, I swear it.”
Ghost eventually left his side and took a few careful steps towards you, sniffing at your hand, bumping his nose into your arm. And even though Jon had seen you ride in on a horse, had seen your eyes, hard as ice, staring at anyone daring to get too close to you, it still took him by surprise when you did not move back in fear, instead slowly starting to let your fingers glide through his white fur. All while failing at hiding the smile gracing your lips.
He wished you would smile like this at him. Some day, perhaps.
“I remember them from my last visit,” you said. “Though this one has grown quite a lot during this time.”
“His name is Ghost.”
“Ghost.” You chuckled. “An apt name. And I think you agree as well.” You ruffled the direwolf’s fur.
“You changed as well. You grew taller, and your hair has gotten longer as well. Back then you looked just like your mother, but I can’t say you share much resemblance with her now.”
The words had tumbled out of him, and he regretted them as soon as he closed his mouth. What had gotten him to say all this?
Then, into the silence, you whispered, “I don’t remember you at all.”
Your smile had faded, replaced by the constant state of terrified impassiveness he had gotten so used to seeing on you.
“I do not blame you. I was a lowly bastard, and you part of the royal family. Our paths could have never crossed, even had we wanted to.”
“And yet you remember me.” You looked down into the courtyard. “Likely remember me walking out of that wheelhouse beside my mother, and smiling at your brother, and talking to your sister, and decorating myself with all that useless frivolity, still so deep in the belief that my life would have some meaning.”
“Then perhaps it is time you create those memories of me.”
Something that was far more beautiful than you trying to hide your smile was you trying to hide your grin. And perhaps, if the sun had been out during your conversation, he would have seen pink bloom on your cheeks.
Tumblr media
All week, the castle had been busy preparing for the wedding. Your wedding. The one that would make you queen of a strange and alien kingdom.
You had stayed away, as well as you could - while you still could. After tomorrow, you would be expected to act as their queen, no matter how little you knew your people.
Pacing up and down your chambers had become something of a favourite pastime of yours. Not that you liked it, of course, but you did not dare step foot out of the door on your own, without one of the Starks to accompany you. Defend you against the disapproving stares.
A knock on your door.
You had expected everything, except for King Jon to stand on its other side, a wooden box and a book in his hands.
“May I come in?”
You could not quite forbid your betrothed from walking around his castle, so you stepped aside without a word and closed the thick wooden door behind him.
“I wanted to talk with you about tomorrow,” he said quickly. Either because he did not want to stay in your presence any longer than necessary, or because he was nervous.
You nodded, indicating to him to continue.
“There will not be a bedding ceremony. I have been to Northern weddings before, and approximately know when they happen. We will leave before then.”
You could barely comprehend his words. He could not truly mean-
“Why?”
“I- You will be my wife and queen, and I want my lords to respect you. I don't want their first real interaction with you to be… touching you inappropriately.”
He was seemingly embarrassed by his own words, and if you were not currently talking about the prospect of your wedding night, you might even say it was cute.
“I… thank you.” You tugged at the sleeves of your gown. “But I doubt it would change anything. I am an outsider, whether or not they undress me tomorrow will not change how they see me.
He then, quite strangely, handed you the book he had been carrying. “But this might.”
Justice and Injustice in the North. You had been reading the tome in the glass gardens two days past, and had forgotten it there in your desperate attempt to escape Jon.
You looked up, and met his dark, endless eyes.
“You are learning about the North,” he said. “Not simply its people, but its laws and customs as well.”
“It's the least I can do.”
“See? Not even married to me and you are already taking your role as future queen of these lands seriously.”
Then he offered you the wooden box, opened the latch, and revealed a simple iron crown. Much like his own, yet this one had a small ruby etched into the front.
“You do not have to wear this tomorrow,” he said. “But you can, if you wish. I will force you to nothing.”
You nodded slightly, took the box, and carried it and the book towards one of the cupboards.
“I assume that will be all?”
You could not remain in the same room with him for any longer, could not stand to remain in vicinity to this man who had been treating you so kindly at no benefit to himself.
“Actually… There is one more thing.”
Jon gently turned you towards him, laying his fingers underneath your chin to urge you to meet his eyes. The moonlight fell through the window beside you, bathing him into a soft, silver light that illuminated his black curls.
“We will be watched for the rest of our lives. Nothing will remain secret, each of our actions needing to ensure prosperity for the North and all who live here. I am certain that tomorrow, even if we manage to escape the ceremony, someone will ensure we have consummated our union. So, if you are willing, I want this one, simple thing to be just ours.”
His lips had gotten so close to yours, a mere hair's breadth apart, and you could once again feel the immense heat radiating off it.
You could refuse, you knew. If you told him no, he would accept your answer, and leave. Yet his words echoed inside you, and you knew them to be true.
And so, instead of whispering that dreaded word, you simply closed the space between you, and sealed your lips in a kiss.
Tumblr media
A week ago, Jon would have never thought he would feel so at ease standing before the heart tree in Winterfell's godswood, you before him in a blinding white gown and with the iron crown of winter upon your hair, speaking the vows that would bind you. But he was glad the day had come. And he was glad you were the woman he would share eternity with.
The ceremony, the brief kiss, and the feast passed by him in a breeze, his wife's hand in his the only thing grounding him.
His wife.
He would need some time to get used to that word.
You looked even more radiant than you had the previous night, cloaked in the silver light filling your room, with red lips swollen from your kiss. He was barely able to keep his eyes off you.
(A part of him desperately hoped his lords noticed.)
And then the moment came. The guests in the feast hall either too distracted or too drunk to pay the pair of you any real mind, so his fingers tightened around yours, and he pulled you upward, through the servant's entrance behind the high table, and down Winterfell's corridors.
His quick steps had turned into a run at some point, and your giggles echoed off the stone walls.
Then you entered his chambers, and you went quiet.
“I-” He swallowed. “I know what I said yesterday, but we do not have to do this today if you do not want to. There is no pressure on us to-”
“No. Let us get through this.”
You took off your crown and cloak, laid both of them on a chair, and then started unlacing your dress. Eyes lowered, half-turned away from him.
Carefully, he stepped up towards you, and laid his hands on yours. And then, when you looked up and met his gaze, eyes sparkling in the fire of the candles around you, he laid his lips on yours without hesitation.
Your previous two kisses - one in your chambers, one at the ceremony earlier in the evening - had been chaste. Short and sweet, yes, but over far too quickly, and without ever providing him with the opportunity to feel you. Now he allowed himself to move deeper, to touch your body, explore your mouth with his, trace the lines of your dress, hear your pretty gasps. And you accepted. Melted into him, almost.
Until he touched the laces at your back.
He pulled back, heart beating in his chest so loudly he feared you might hear.
“If you wish to stop at any point…”
You nodded. “I know.”
To alleviate at least some of your fears, he started undressing, willing to bare himself and that what he feared most to stop your trembling hands. And they did, yet only once he had gotten rid of his blouse.
You stared at the scars on his chest. Carefully, you lifted a hand and let it hover above them. He made no move to stop you, only watching your confused eyes as your fingers traced his skin.
(He did not look down. Would not dare.)
“What-” Your voice broke. “What happened?”
“I was betrayed. They’re all dead now.”
He left it at that, and you did not inquire any further.
Eventually, even your last clothes fell to the ground, your lips once again locked into a kiss as he picked you up and carried you to the bed.
His hands explored your body slowly, gliding across your breasts, your stomach, your legs. And once you stopped twitching away, he let his mouth follow that same path. First kissing your breasts, then your stomach, then your legs, and then your core.
He listened to your gasps and your moans to find out what you liked, and what you loved. Your body reacted, as if on its own, to every single one of his touches, to the movements of his tongue, the crooking of his fingers, and when you finally peaked, he took everything you offered him.
Then he wandered upwards again, sealing your lips in a kiss. Your fingers got tangled up in his hair, pulls and tugs eliciting groans from his mouth that you swallowed as soon as they spilled across his lips.
He entered you as gently as he could, stopping shortly when you buried your nails into his shoulder. Once your hips sat flush against each other, and he had looked into your eyes, he started moving. Your back arched at his thrusts, and you swung your leg around his waist to encourage him to speed up. He followed your commands without hesitation.
You peaked again, and he followed shortly afterwards, spilling inside of you and sealing your union.
You laid in his bed afterwards, tangled up, pressed against each other, your heartbeats echoing the other, yearning to beat in tandem.
He would be alright. Perhaps you  would never love each other, but you would be friends, and he decided that ruling side by side with someone he trusted was everything he needed.
MASTERLIST
Bodies whipping past each other in a crowded department store made an already exhausting shopping session all the more uncomfortable for Terry. He hated being forced to mingle with the public, scooting past rude customers as they selfishly took up space between messy clothing racks and disheveled aisles. He’d already said more expletives than his mother would enjoy if she were with him and Patrice searching for gifts to round out their early Christmas haul.
His wife had coaxed him out of the house with promises of his favorite hot meal and one of those Korean face masks he pretended to only kind of like for his willingness to act as her hired muscle for the afternoon. Lugging big boxed items and not so subtly shoving grown men who stepped in her path was his primary task. And, for the work he’d done in two hours, it had to be enough to earn a kiss or two as a reward for good behavior.
Patrice and Terry stood side by side as she carefully and quietly scanned a printed spreadsheet lined with multiple names and items.
“Hey, boo, did you see if that juicer back there was marked down? I wanna grab it for Mama.”
Terry tinkered with the buttons on a display air fryer and shook his head. “I wasn’t looking, but everything in here seems to be on sale. Need me to go back for you? I don’t mind.”
Despite his disdain for the current circumstances, he’d gleefully double back to fulfill Patrice’s wishes. She reached out to stroke his muscled arm as a thank you for his effort.
“No, that’s okay, baby. How about you meet me over by the tableware instead so we can divide and conquer? I need to grab a new cutlery set so we can throw ours out and then get out of here. Promise. I know you’re ready to eat.”
“And go the hell home,” he grumbled. “I don’t understand how you deal with all this.”
His deep scowl, usually a deterrent for strangers looking to avoid conflict, only made him look like an adorable petulant child to Patrice. A grin spread across her face as she approached him to smooth her palms across his broad chest.
“I know, Pooh. You’re doing a great job, though. All cute and patient for me.”
Praise from her for even the simplest tasks never failed to switch off his defenses and soften his heart into jelly. If asked, he’d vehemently deny that he enjoyed being cooed at like a child, but Patrice caught the uncontrollable happy twinkle in his eye as she pushed up on her toes to kiss his cheek.
He attempted to regain his composure to save face. “You’re talkin’ to me like a baby.”
“Not just any baby. You’re my baby.” More pecks on his stubbled jaw made Terry groan and roll his eyes as he slowly gave in. Sweet talk had prevailed and he was back to being wrapped around her ring finger like the shining wedding band she’d been wearing for a little over a month. She pinched his cheek and smiled in triumph knowing the battle was won. “I’ll be quick, I’ll promise. Two minutes!”
“So we cool with only two minutes now?”
Patrice mirrored Terry’s cheeky grin as she backed away in search of her final gift for the afternoon, leaving him proud of his suggestive joke.
He prayed they could hit 120 seconds on the dot for the first time in their lives. His feet ached. His stomach growled louder than the Michael Bublé songs playing over the store’s speakers. His patience was thin. If he wasn’t in the comfort of home within 45 minutes, he’d have to introduce the public to a version of Terry no one should have to meet.
Following Patrice’s instructions, Terry mosied toward a glittering section full of discounted crystal and fine china. Where others saw Patrice as a complex maze of desires, feelings, and unmeetable demands, Terry knew exactly what she liked. Natural textures and earthy tones kept their home grounded in nature to match her love for the small flower garden she kept in the backyard. Every kitchen accessory, big and small, revolved around the coveted ivory dinner set she purchased with her first check as an educator. Forks and spoons would be no different. Terry didn’t need another hand slap and stern lecture to learn that lesson.
His fingers tracked option after option on cluttered shelves until he found two sets of flatware that fit her strict specifications. Sleek? Check. Matching her favorite plates and blows? Got it. He prided himself on making her decisions easier and this latest attempt was his best to date.
Grabbing the first set was a piece of cake. He slid it from the shelf with no issue to place into the already-packed shopping basket. The second attempt came with a struggle as another, much daintier hand attempted to tug his wife’s prize from his grasp.
Terry looked down to find a small, frail older woman with ivory skin and a tight frown looking back at him with contempt. He tugged a little harder, but she pulled back.
Not wanting to cause a scene for fear of being seen as the angry Black man terrorizing fellow patrons, he tried placating the older woman with a polite smile and disarming chuckle. “This is for my wife, actually. You know how that goes. I’m happy to give it to you if she chooses otherwise, though.”
The attempt at a friendly tone and winning smile did little to deter his unlikely adversary. What charm he thought he possessed only seemed to make her angrier. She eyed him up and down, thin lips twisted into an indignant smile as she attempted to nab the item a second time to no avail.
“But you already have one,” she complained, pointing at the item in his basket. “You can’t have another.”
“I’m not trying to have two. She’ll make a decision and put back what she doesn’t want.”
“So, you’re just gonna hold it?”
Terry regarded her with a blank stare. “…Yes.”
“You can’t do that!”
“Will you be the one to stop me or what?”
There wasn’t much left in Terry’s tank for niceties. Greying hair and crepey skin wouldn’t do much to stop a tongue-lashing if static was what she was after.
The woman stood firm, reaching to grab the item from Terry’s hand but missing when he snatched it back. She raised her voice. “I’m going to have security come over here and make you give it up.”
“Ma’am, I truly do not care who you call. Stop trying to put your hands on me.”
“Or what?” She was challenging a nearly unshakeable man. He didn’t budge and it left her incensed. She attempted another angle. “Call your wife over here. Go on! I want to talk to her face to face.”
He scoffed and shook his head. “Nah. You don’t want that. Call security. It’s better for everyone involved.”
“Call her over here!”
“I’m not about to let you piss her off and ruin the rest of my day. Let’s figure something out.”
She had no idea what she was asking for, the kind of trouble she was welcoming into her life. Terry tried to reason with her. He tried to compromise to keep the peace. But, as Patrice rounded the corner to find an unfamiliar woman embroiled in a verbal tussle with her man, time had just run out.
“Oh, no ma’am,” Patrice started with the look of a protective mother in her eyes. “You better figure that out and quick. We’re not playing that game. What’s the problem?”
Fear gripped the older woman as Patrice approached. Terry slowly placed the second set of utensils in the basket and scoffed. Whatever happened next was up to God and whoever his newest foe served.
“I told you,” Terry reminded, shaking his head. “Good luck.”
“Is this your husband?”
Patrice moved to stand in front of Terry with the juicer in tow, acting as a human shield. She spoke low and slow. “And what about him? What exactly is your issue?”
Terry watched the exchange with bated breath. Her calmness was a war tactic she employed to size up her enemy. At any moment she might explode and leave you shell-shocked.
“He has two sets of flatware in that cart saying he’s waiting on you to decide. That’s not fair! Choose one,” the woman accused, her voice rising in a feeble attempt to intimidate Patrice.
“That’s not how shopping works! We’ll buy every single one of these motherfuckers if we want to! Who gon’ stop us?”
“With cash, too,” Terry mumbled in support.
The woman clutched invisible pearls, feining disgust at the use of adult language. “What a foul mouth! That is not the way you speak to people. Especially not your elders. ”
“Baby, if you keep talking to this one behind me crazy, my mouth will be the last thing you need to worry about.”
“Is that a threat?”
She should’ve prayed for a threat. A threat would’ve been the easy way out - a free pass to avoid making an enemy of someone with such an intense passion for using quick wit and a slick tongue to eviscerate her opponents.
Patrice calmly turned to thrust the heavy juicer into Terry’s arms without a word before turning to make her point clear. He shook his head in pity. Poor woman. She’d tell this story to her family at dinner later, looking for sympathy when what she really needed was the foresight to recognize when she encountered the verbal assassin he called his better half.
Silently, he mouthed Patrice’s favorite opening statement in time with the words leaving her lips.
“Let me tell you something.” Terry smiled to himself, knowing he had her down to a science. Patrice pointed a manicured finger in her direction for extra emphasis. “I’m sure we’ll never meet again, but hopefully this will help you the next time you think about running up on someone you don’t know. Don’t you ever holler at my husband or your ass’ll have to cash that check your mouth wrote this afternoon. Have I made myself clear or are you so deprived of the sense God gave you that you need a demonstration?”
This time, Patrice’s heavy suggestion to drop the issue before it could escalate and retreat to another section of the store was received with renewed clarity. The woman huffed in defeat. Terry and Patrice watched her reluctantly pluck another option from the shelf and scurry away with her tail between her legs. Patrice tracked her with her eyes and a scowl that looked just like her husband’s on her face until the coast was clear.
Terry watched her try to physically reset by rolling her shoulders down and back, but her face betrayed her once she turned to face him.
She reached for the sets of cutlery and examined both under harsh fluorescent light. “These are nice. I think I like the left more though.”
“Treece.”
“Mmm, but the left is a little bulky now that I look at it. Maybe the right? Which one did you like?”
“Patrice.” Terry used his index finger to tilt Patrice’s head upward and redirect her attention. The corners of his lips lifted into a small smile before leaning down to kiss her nose. “Thank you, Piggy. I had it, but I love when you back me up. What you want as repayment tonight?”
“Mmmm, my feet hurt a little. Think you can work your magic?”
He hummed in response. “I was gonna do that anyway for myself. Pick something else.”
“I want you to help me pick eating utensils so we can get out of here,” Patrice laughed to discharge the tension growing between them. “Left or right?”
“The left is my choice. But I’ll buy every single one of these motherfuckers in here if you want ‘em.”
His callback had both of them dissolving into a fit of giggles that only stopped once another patron browsing the aisle forced them to make a quick decision and make a move to return to their side of town.
In the car, Patrice playfully jabbed a finger into Terry’s arm as they pulled out into mall traffic. “Don’t you go tellin’ my mama and daddy about this. I don’t have time for their mouths today. And stop letting people talk to you crazy in the first place. I’m serious, Terry.”
“Yes ma’am. You have made yourself abundantly clear.”
“Shut up!”
Silly jokes about the absurdity of hemming up an old woman passed between the pair as they sat in a bumper-to-bumper jam were interrupted by an incoming call on the car’s Bluetooth system.
“How you doin’ mama,” Terry answered as soon as the call connected, leaving Patrice to entertain herself. “I got Treece in the car. You know she threatened to stop feeding me if I didn’t go shopping with her. Crazy, ain’t it?”
“That’s what she should do! No way she should be out there with all these holiday crazies by herself.”
Patrice nodded in agreement. “Thank you, Ms. Dee. You get the biggest gift under the tree this year.”
“Oh, thank you, Treecey Girl!”
“Hold on, hold on,” Terry interjected. “Treecey is a holiday crazy! Let me tell you how she just threatened an old lady about some forks and knives today.”
“Terrence, don’t sit up here and lie. My girl is way too sweet for that.”
“Hand to God, mama. Almost body slammed somebody’s grandma.” Terry bore all of his teeth in an impish grin as Patrice’s eyes grew wide.
“Snitch,” she mouthed at him before responding to Diedra. “Okay, threatened is an over-simplification. She was yelling at your son and I stepped in!”
“Yelling!? Girl, start at the top.”
The message ‘I can’t stand you’ typed into a note and flashed in his direction made Terry choke back laughter as he listened to Patrice defend her actions. Though he knew what he was doing, in his mind, she should’ve been more specific in her instruction.
She never said he couldn’t tell his mama.
Bob hated it when Natasha was deployed without him. He always ended up feeling like the fifth wheel now that Bradley was married and Jake was dating Jessica. Well, both of those were actually understatements. Bradley was devoted to his wife, and Jake was soppy now that Jessica moved in with him. And Bob's feelings on the matter were never more evident than on nights out at the Hard Deck.
Without fail, a girl or two or three would hit on one of the other guys, and they would deftly try to pawn said girl off on Bob only for the girl to look rather disappointed and kind of wander away. He just had that effect on women. He was a lot better with the written word than with the spoken, and something just didn't translate well for him when he was met face-to-face with an intriguing smile and an attractive body.
He groaned as he watched another woman head off in the direction of the bar as soon as he nervously stumbled his way through a sentence where he tried to introduce himself. How exactly was he supposed to compete with Jake Seresin anyway? Nobody who originally wanted him was going to settle for Bob.
"I got you more peanuts." Bob looked up to see Bradshaw's wife smiling at him and holding out a cup. Ever since he visited Chippy's bar, he didn't want to admit to Penny that hers weren't quite as good, but if someone went out of their way to bring him a cup full, he was going to eat them. And it was also nice of her to make sure he was included tonight while Mickey was babysitting his nephews.
"Thank you," he replied softly, and she patted his shoulder.
"I saw you talking to that girl?" she asked, nodding her head toward the bar. "She's really cute."
Bob shook his head as he looked down at his ginger ale. "I mean, yes, she was very pretty, but I wasn't really talking to her. She didn't want to talk to me, actually." He could feel the heat rising in his cheeks as he looked up at her from his stool. "She wanted to talk to Jake."
She rolled her eyes, and Bob kept his fingers occupied by cracking open a peanut. He craved the familiar intimacy he saw when he looked at his friends and their partners. Maybe jealousy wasn't the right word, but he always felt left out of the loop. They all knew something he didn't, and he craved to be on the inside with someone of his own.
"I'd choose you over Jake any day, Bob. You're smart, and I like talking to you."
He smiled at her as he said, "That may be the case, but you'd choose Bradley over me."
"You got me there," she said with a laugh as she kissed his cheek, making him avert his eyes to the floor. "I'm probably not the best judge of character though."
Bob looked toward where she was smiling now and saw Bradley with his hideous tie dye shirt and idiotic looking backwards baseball cap as Jessica slaughtered him in a game of pool. "Yes, you are," Bob told her quietly. Because as soon as Bradley looked at his wife, his expression became one of complete wonder.
"Sugar! Come here! Jessica is being mean to me again!"
She squeezed Bob's shoulder and then took him by the hand, bringing him along with her to the pool table. He blushed again as he looked a little nervously at Bradley, but everyone knew Bob was harmless. He was the one just drinking a ginger ale since he had to drive home.
"Baby," Bradley whined. "She won't even let me try to make a shot."
"That's not her being mean to you. That's her being better than you," his wife replied. "And what's the moral of the story again?"
"Women should never be underestimated," Bradley and Jake said in unison.
"That's right," Jessica said as she sunk the 8-ball into one of the corner pockets. "Especially ones who have a PhD and tenure." She handed her pool cue to Bradley and did a little dance. Then she reached into Bob's cup of peanuts and said, "Chippy's are better."
"They are," he agreed with a nod and a grin. He cleared his throat as Bradshaw's wife finally dropped his hand. "So I heard the new semester starts on Monday?"
"Yes," Jessica gushed as she fixed her glasses. "And Brian took a position at the community college, so this should be my best semester yet."
Bob already knew that Jake was relieved that his girlfriend would be going to work in a more comfortable environment every day, but it was nice to see how excited she was.
"You know what I was thinking?" Jessica asked Bradshaw's wife quietly. Bob wondered if he should step away and give them some privacy, but they both kept helping themselves to the cup of peanuts. "Maybe we could put something up on the notice board in the main building, kind of inviting the other female teachers at the school to have lunch together one day? I felt so embarrassed and excluded from things because of Brian, I just thought it might be nice for anyone else who feels marginalized?"
Bradley's wife nodded. "I think that's a great idea."
Bob listened to them for a few more minutes before he wished them good luck as they started back to school for the fall term, and then he excused himself for the night. He stood outside in the dark parking lot for a few minutes and listened to the sound of the ocean before he climbed into his truck and headed for his silent house.
--------------------------
"Dr. Webber."
Anna looked at the name placard on her office door and bounced up and down. "Dr. Webber," she read out loud again. She had the worst office on campus, no doubt about that. It was miniscule and kind of smelled like stale bread since it was so close to the cafeteria, but she loved it. All of the shelves were crammed with her books, and she could lock the rest of the world out when she needed a minute to herself. She just hoped that the tiny office wasn't a sign of bad things to come after San Diego State University willingly hired her less than a month before the start of the term.
In a matter of eight weeks, she had finally- finally- graduated with her PhD in English Literature and secured a job on the other side of the country. She sold everything she could think of, including her rings, and moved from gloomy New Jersey to a studio apartment in sunny southern California. Sure, all she had in her kitchen was a toaster oven and a mini fridge, but she was on her own. She had nobody to answer to. And she never would again.
"I guess everything is smaller here," Anna told herself as she locked her office door and went in search of the classroom where she would be holding the first lecture of her teaching career. She was too early for the class, but she was filled with nervous energy and decided that walking around would help.
She looked in classrooms and listened to a poetry lecture on the third floor. She found a really secluded ladies' bathroom as well as a reading nook. Eventually, she and her copy of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn managed to wander all the way to the main building where she found a faculty lounge.
It smelled like coffee, and there were snacks out on the counter, and everyone was talking in pairs or small groups. She should probably get to know her colleagues, but she also didn't mind the anonymity that came with observing everyone without engaging. She was good at that, and she'd spend too much time around people who needed to be in the spotlight all the time. As she reached for a donut with pink frosting, she saw a notice board across the room and went to take a look.
The hum of conversation around her was comforting as she read about a yoga class in the quad, alumni night, and a teacher appreciation banquet. Then her eyes caught on a single piece of paper with a plain black font. It wasn't flashy, and somehow it reminded her of a page from a favorite book.
WELCOME BACK FOR THE FALL SEMESTER, LADIES!
If you're interested in getting to know some other women who work on campus, let's meet for a friendly lunch on the first Tuesday of the term! Noon in the quad next to the weird tree.
Anna laughed. She knew where the quad was, but she wasn't sure which tree was the weird one. They actually all seemed a bit out of place to her since she wasn't used to living near palm trees. She started to skim a notice about how to recycle old textbooks, but she didn't get far before she was re-reading the one about meeting up for lunch.
If it was truly meant just for women, then it sounded kind of nice. She could eat her sandwich outside. She liked weird trees. The idea of having zero men around made it even more appealing. The last thing she wanted was to develop an interest in anyone right now. Or maybe ever again.
She took out her phone and snapped a picture of the page before checking the time and leaving with her donut. Twenty minutes later, with her class assembled before her in a small lecture hall, she cleared her throat and said, "Welcome to English 205. I'm Dr. Webber, and this semester we will be covering the classics."
------------------------
"You can do this. You'll be fine," Anna said as she walked slowly across the quad toward a palm tree that looked like it somehow started growing sideways about six feet up from the ground. "It's just some people."
But she wasn't good with people. Kevin had been quick to tell her that all the time. He liked to point out that she was awkward unless she was talking about literature or poetry or something from the New York Times bestseller list. Apparently she didn't know how to talk about normal things. Her hands started to sweat as she held onto her brown paper bag and can of ginger ale.
"Oh god," she groaned as she got a little closer. Truly, there was nothing to be afraid of. It was just two women smiling as they talked to each other with their lunches. But they were both beautiful. Like the kind of stunning girls that Anna was always afraid to talk to when she was a teenager. One was wearing a suit and high heels, and the other was wearing cute brown loafers and some tweed, and she felt like her own outfit looked awful now by comparison.
It wasn't too late to just walk past them and loop back toward her office and never try to socialize again. "Yes, let's do that." She nodded and picked up the pace a little bit. She could turn left at the weird tree and then maybe even make a run for it. "What are you doing?" she whispered, slowing down again. It was one thing to swear off men, but it wasn't going to be an enjoyable existence if she never tried to make a single friend here.
With a deep breath, she forced herself forward, and then soon two sets of eyes were on her. All she saw was matching smiles as she approached and said, "Hi. I'm Anna Webber. Is this the weird tree?"
"It's the weirdest tree I've ever seen," said the first woman as the other one jumped to her feet.
"Hi! Are you here for lunch?" she asked as she adjusted her glasses. "I told you someone would come," she whispered to the first woman before sticking her hand out. "I'm Jessica Reed! I work in the physics department, and this is my friend, and we are so, so happy you're joining us."
Anna smiled at how bubbly she was as she briefly shook her hand. "I just got here," she said with a wince. "I mean... it's my second day working here? I just got hired. In the English department. I'm teaching literature." God, could she sound like any more of an idiot right now?
But Jessica gasped in response. "Advanced Literature!" Then both women squealed, and soon the other one was introducing herself and talking about the math department and pointing out a building Anna had never been inside yet.
"It's silly, we know, but we kind of have code names for each other. I'm Advanced Calculus, and Jessica is Advanced Physics. You can be Advanced Literature. If you want." Now she looked a little uncertain while Jessica bounced in her high heels. "Wow, we sound like absolute nerds."
"We are nerds," Jessica confirmed with no shame as she looked at Anna. "I collect scientific journals. She uses math as foreplay with her husband. Do you want to eat lunch with us, Anna?"
Her response came with an ease that she hadn't felt in a long time. "Yes. Please." Then both women were shifting their lunches down and making room in the middle of the bench. Anna took a seat and watched Advanced Calculus pick a carrot stick out of the most beautifully organized lunch container she'd ever seen. She also had a tie dyed lunch box that was charming in a hideous way.
"How's your first week going?" Jessica asked as she bit into a delicious looking sandwich on fancy, multigrain bread. Anna knew she didn't fit in here at all as she pulled a plain turkey sandwich and some peanuts from her bag, but it was all she could afford right now.
"Well," she said with a sigh. "It's better than New Jersey."
Both women squealed again. "You're from the east coast!"
"Yeah," she replied as she opened her ginger ale. "I grew up in New Jersey. I went to college and grad school in New Jersey. I attempted to move to New York, and then somehow I ended up here." She left out the heartbreaking parts about Kevin, because he didn't really belong in a conversation where she was surprisingly kind of enjoying herself.
She learned the two women were from Massachusetts and Virginia, and that they both had PhDs from prestigious universities. They were both in committed relationships with naval aviators who also happened to work together. And both of the men loved packing their ladies lunches.
"Lucky," Anna muttered as she popped a peanut into her mouth and thought about the kitchen in her studio apartment. It was so small, it almost didn't exist. She was almost thirty and essentially still lived in a dormitory. How sad.
"Hey," Jessica said suddenly. "If you like peanuts, you'd probably love Chippy's!"
"What's Chippy's?" Anna asked curiously.
"Eww, no. Don't listen to Jess. Chippy's is a disgusting dive bar on the other side of campus."
"It's not disgusting! He just doesn't clean the floor."
Anna laughed. "I actually do love peanuts, but I'm not a big drinker." Then both women silently studied her, and she could feel heat rising in her cheeks. She'd said something wrong already. Of course things couldn't be this easy.
"Huh. You like ginger ale," said Advanced Calculus as she sat paused with a carrot stick halfway to her mouth.
Anna nodded as she said, "My... well, a guy I know used to make fun of me for being a ginger and loving ginger ale." She gestured to her auburn hair which was clipped up at the back of her head.
"Are you married? Or in a relationship?" she asked, and she finally bit into the carrot.
Anna didn't even have a chance to reply as Advanced Physics gasped on her other side. "You like peanuts. And ginger ale. How do you feel about men with glasses?"
"How do you feel about men with greenish blue eyes?"
"How do you feel about sweet men who blush?"
"Would you ever date a guy in the Navy?"
"Are you fond of beat up pickup trucks and country boys?"
"Do you want to come to the Hard Deck this weekend?"
Anna was starting to get whiplash as she looked back and forth between the two of them. "Wait, I'm sorry. What? I thought we were talking about a place called Chippy's?"
"We were. But now we're talking about a man called Bob."
[percy looks at him] okay, i’ll give you that. this is a break. but you still should be easier on yourself. [he shakes his head, before shrugging] i might try to get nico to hang out with me for a bit, we’ll see. [he laughs] i can’t remember the last time he and i hung out without there being a world-ending event on the horizon [he hums again] i can’t remember exactly what annabeth said about damocles, but the whole thing was that he- or someone? i can’t remember if it was him- hung a sword over a throne that would fall on the head of whoever sat on it or something [his brow furrows, he’s trying to remember the story better]
[Will shows up, knocking on the poseidon cabin, waiting for Percy to open the door, faint bags under his eyes though thats pretty normal for Will, and his bags considerably emptier than they normally are]
Three's a Thrill
Kinkvember Day 6: Threesome
Dreamcatcher Kim Yoohyeon x Kim JiU (Minji) x Female reader/OC
(Reader has some body modification for plot purposes)
8.6k words
AN: A little late on this one, classes have been kicking my butt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I bet they’re a writer or something,” JiU mused, eyes narrowing playfully.
“Or maybe a chef,” you countered with a grin. “Someone who’ll invite us over for tastings.”
JiU laughed, the sound light and familiar. “Oh wow, could you imagine? Think of all the food we’d get to try.”
With that, you both made your way up the path to the new neighbor’s house, footsteps echoing lightly against the quiet surroundings. The house next door had been empty for months, and the curiosity had been building between you two. JiU’s excitement was clear as she climbed the front steps, flashing her trademark smile. With a firm knock, she announced your arrival.
The door swung open to reveal a young woman with shoulder-length hair, dark eyes and a welcoming smile that instantly put you at ease.
“Hello! A fresh face in the neighborhood. Welcome” JiU greeted warmly, extending her hand.
The woman’s eyes sparkled as she shook JiU’s hand. “Hi, I'm Yoohyeon. It’s so nice to meet you both—I’ve been hoping to connect with my neighbors.”
JiU stepped back slightly, gesturing toward you. “I’m Kim Minji, but you can call me JiU, and this is my lovely wife.” Her smile softened as she brushed her hand over your shoulder in an affectionate, natural gesture that made your bond clear. Feeling a bit shy but warmed by the gesture, you extended a hand to greet Yoohyeon.
Yoohyeon’s eyes flickered with surprise before softening. In the conservative country they lived in, it was rare for same sex couples to introduce themselves so openly. She admired the quiet confidence you both shared, comforted by how natural your expressions of love felt. Smiling back, she felt an unexpected sense of kinship.
“It’s really nice to meet you both,” Yoohyeon said sincerely, excitement lacing her tone. “I just moved in and am still finding my way around, but it already feels more like home knowing I have such friendly neighbors.”
JiU chuckled and glanced at you with a twinkle in her eye. “Oh, we’ve definitely been in your shoes. The first week we moved here, I couldn’t even remember which bus line went where,” she laughed. “So, how’s settling in going?”
Yoohyeon looked around her cozy entryway, decorated in a warm, minimalist style. “It’s been… a bit of a whirlwind, honestly. I’m actually an English teacher, so between commuting, learning where everything is, and getting the house in order, I’m still finding my rhythm.”
“Oh, an English teacher! That’s wonderful,” you said warmly, your interest clear in your voice. “Moving can feel overwhelming at first, but if you need anything—a ride, directions, or even a café recommendation—we’re just next door.”
“Thank you so much! That’s really kind of you,” Yoohyeon replied, visibly relieved. “I’d love to know more about the neighborhood. Any local gems?”
“Oh, plenty!” JiU’s smile widened. “There’s an amazing bakery just around the corner. Their strawberry mochi is to die for, they always sell out early. And there’s also a café a few blocks down called Insomnia Café that makes the best iced caramel lattes in town.”
“Those sound incredible; I can’t wait to try them out,” Yoohyeon said, mentally noting the recommendations. Then, with a curious look, she asked, “And you two? What do you do for work?”
JiU exchanged an amused look with you, a hint of mystery in her eyes. “Oh, we mostly work from home,” she said with a slight, knowing smile that felt almost deliberate.
You added with a playful glimmer, “It gives us a lot of freedom to travel and enjoy life—a definite perk,” leaving Yoohyeon to wonder if there was more to your work than met the eye.
“That sounds amazing,” Yoohyeon replied, intrigued but not wanting to press. She sensed a layer of mystery between you two, but also a warmth—a quiet, unspoken connection that drew her in, as though she’d found friends as unique as they were welcoming.
The conversation continued, covering everything from the best local grocery stores to the quirks of the nearby subway lines. JiU’s stories were punctuated with laughter, and though you were quieter, you leaned in occasionally with thoughtful comments and small, knowing glances that spoke volumes. The closeness between you two was undeniable—a shared understanding that filled the air with ease.
After a while, JiU glanced at you and gave a slight nod. “Well, we’ll leave you to get settled,” she said warmly. “We just wanted to stop by to say hello and welcome you. Don’t hesitate to come by if you need anything or just want to chat.”
As you and JiU turned to leave, Yoohyeon found herself smiling, a flutter of excitement settling in her chest. Watching you both walk away, she couldn’t shake the thrill of having such warm, intriguing people right next door. She felt a spark—maybe this move would bring more than she’d initially expected.
-----
One late evening, Yoohyeon stood by her bedroom window, drawn to the quiet charm of the night. The neighborhood lay still, each house settled into its evening calm, with only the occasional faint glow of a light here or there. She often enjoyed these solitary moments, gazing out at the world beyond her window and letting her mind wander.
Tonight, her gaze drifted almost involuntarily toward JiU and your home, the upstairs bedroom window just visible from where she stood. Yoohyeons eyes narrowed as she noticed movement in the soft, dim light seeping through the curtains. Curiosity got the best of her, and she couldn’t help but look closer. She could make out the silhouettes of JiU and you, laughing together, leaning against the wall, faces flushed as you playfully nudged each other.
As her eyes adjusted to the faint light, the details became clearer: JiU, with her tousled hair falling loose, dressed in a simple sports bra and shorts, while you wore a fitted tank top and briefs. A light sheen on your skin hinted that you’d both been dancing or wrestling playfully. The sight was so candid, so deeply intimate, that Yoohyeon felt like an unintentional intruder. She should have looked away, yet something about the relaxed, unguarded way you shared this private moment kept her eyes fixed.
JiU’s arm slipped around your waist, faces close enough to be nearly nose-to-nose, both of you laughing softly, as though sharing a secret. There was something mesmerizing about the ease between you two, a mutual warmth that Yoohyeon could almost feel across the distance. A blush crept up her cheeks, her heartbeat quickening in response to the scene unfolding before her.
Realizing her gaze had lingered too long, Yoohyeon tore her eyes away, her face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and something else—a faint stirring in her core that surprised her. She had known JiU and you as the friendly, slightly mysterious couple next door, but tonight, witnessing this side of you stirred something unfamiliar, something undeniably thrilling within her.
She took a deep breath and sank onto her bed, willing herself to forget what she had just seen. Determined to shake the image from her mind, she picked up her phone and scrolled through social media, hoping to distract herself with harmless videos and updates. But her mind kept wandering back to the way you’d looked at each other, the comfortable closeness, and the undeniable spark between you.
Frustrated, Yoohyeon switched apps, almost without realizing it, and found herself on an adult site. She felt a bit silly, yet the warmth that had built inside her urged her to seek some release. As she scrolled through thumbnails, nothing seemed to capture the raw, genuine intimacy she’d just witnessed between you and JiU. Every other video felt strangely hollow by comparison.
Just as she was about to put her phone away, a particular thumbnail caught her eye. The resemblance to you and JiU was uncanny—the same dark hair, the same air of easy intimacy she’d glimpsed from her window. A forbidden thrill stirred within her as she hesitated, her thumb hovering over the screen before she tapped “play,” her heart racing as the video loaded.
Through her headphones, JiU’s voice murmured gently, as if meant just for her. “Are you ready?” she asked, her tone full of warmth and teasing care. Yoohyeon’s heart fluttered as the image on-screen filled her mind.
Then, as her gaze drifted over your figure on the screen, her heart suddenly skipped a beat. A flash of metal caught her eye—a nipple piercing, gleaming softly against your skin. Yoohyeon’s pulse raced. She’d had no idea you had such a bold, hidden side. There had never been a hint of body art or piercings in your everyday appearance, and this quiet, thrilling detail felt like a secret unveiled.
Her breath caught, surprise mingling with fascination. Body modifications had always intrigued her, and this little discovery seemed to reveal something new about you—a quiet strength, a hidden edge, something both beautiful and daring.
Yoohyeon’s pulse quickened, her body tingling with anticipation as her hand slipped between her legs, moving in sync with JiU’s careful touch on the screen. JiU’s hands traced slow, tantalizing circles over your skin, each movement deliberate and unhurried. The rhythm was mesmerizing, almost hypnotic, and Yoohyeon found herself mirroring the pace, her breaths shallow as she matched JiU’s gentle, precise touches.
Her senses drifted, pulled deeper into the intimacy unfolding before her. JiU’s sultry voice seemed to reach through the screen, drawing Yoohyeon closer. Each whispered word and soft caress felt like an invitation, coaxing her further into your shared world. As the camera lingered on your face, lips parted with a soft, breathless sigh, Yoohyeon felt herself lost in the vulnerability of the moment, each delicate sound heightening her own arousal.
Her gaze flickered between you and JiU, her fingers moving faster as the tension within her grew. The way your body responded—the subtle tremble, eyes fluttering shut as JiU held you on the edge—felt almost sacred, an intimacy that sent shivers through her. Yoohyeon bit her lip, her breaths quickening as her release approached, caught up in the magnetic pull of your connection.
Finally, as JiU brought you to climax, Yoohyeon heard her gentle voice again, murmuring, “Are you close, baby?… Yes, you can cum. Cum for me, my sweetie.” Yoohyeon’s body surged with her own release, her fingers pressing down as a stifled moan escaped her lips, waves of pleasure flooding over her. She lay there for a moment, head spinning, still basking in the lingering warmth. It felt surreal, as if she’d shared in something intimate with you—an unexpected closeness that stayed with her, even after the video faded to black.
In the days that followed, Yoohyeon found herself drawn back to JiU and your videos, watching with a growing intensity. She became captivated by the smallest gestures between you—the way JiU’s hand lingered on your cheek, or the soft laugh you’d give in response to her teasing. The catalog of videos became her private indulgence, something she turned to each evening, a ritual that filled the quiet spaces in her life.
Yet, the more she watched, a subtle ache grew within her—a yearning she couldn’t quite put into words. She’d watch each video, hoping to make sense of her feelings, but it only left her wanting more. This wasn’t just attraction; it was a craving for the deep bond she witnessed, a connection that seemed almost unattainable. And as she realized this, a creeping guilt began to take hold.
What am I even doing? she’d mutter to herself, torn between the comfort she found in the videos and the nagging feeling that she’d crossed an invisible line. They’d posted these videos for people to see, she reasoned; it’s not as if I’m invading their privacy. But the rationalization felt thin, a flimsy excuse for the thrill she felt in watching.
They wanted people to see this, right? she’d tell herself, trying to believe it; otherwise, why share something so intimate? But the sense of trespass lingered. She knew she should stop, that she needed to let this go. And yet, the pull of your bond, and the warmth it brought her, was something she wasn’t sure she could resist.
Outside of these moments, her days began to feel increasingly hollow. Work felt tedious, gatherings with friends left her restless, as if nothing could break the hold you and JiU had on her mind. And the more she tried to ignore the videos, the emptier she felt, like a crucial part of herself was missing.
When Yoohyeon returned home one day, the emptiness she’d tried to ignore settled back over her. She’d promised herself she wouldn’t return to those videos, yet her mind drifted, thinking of the warmth and passion she’d witnessed through her screen. She tried to distract herself, scrolling through social media and tidying her apartment, but her thoughts always circled back to you both.
Her routines had become dull, a monotonous hum against the vivid memories she replayed. Each night felt longer and lonelier, the quiet of her apartment amplifying the ache within her. And so, once again, she found herself at her bedroom window, gaze drifting toward your house, drawn to the only place that seemed to promise any relief.
Through the soft glow of your bedroom curtains, Yoohyeon could see your silhouettes, leaning close, bodies entwined in a quiet, intimate moment. Her heart skipped a beat, a thrill racing through her as she watched, her eyes fixed on your faces mere inches apart, bodies pressed together in a gentle embrace.
I shouldn’t be watching this, she told herself, but her body didn’t move. She rationalized that it was harmless, that it wasn’t wrong to watch from her own window. But part of her knew better. This was a private moment, and she was an uninvited guest. Yet the pull was magnetic, each glimpse deepening her curiosity, a live show she couldn’t resist.
Each night, Yoohyeon found herself back at the window, drawn into the private world you and JiU shared. Sometimes, you simply laughed over a glass of wine or leaned into each other, speaking softly. Other times, the moments were charged, your touches tender yet powerful, holding her in place as a silent witness to something she knew she couldn’t reach.
Over time, this ritual became a comfort, enough to carry her through her days. She tried to distract herself with work, with friends, but nothing compared to these glimpses. Eventually, the temptation grew stronger. She ordered a pair of compact binoculars, her heart racing as she unwrapped them. She knew it was wrong, that this was a step too far, but the thrill of watching, of catching each movement and expression, was irresistible. Through the lens, everything became vivid—every glance, each soft touch, every shared smile between you and JiU.
Deep down, she knew she’d crossed a line, but the quiet connection she felt each night kept her tethered to the window, watching, even as guilt lingered beneath her excitement.
-----
A few days later, while tending to the flowers in her front yard, Yoohyeon heard a soft clearing of the throat. Turning, she saw JiU leaning casually against the fence, a warm smile brightening her face.
“Hey, Yoohyeon,” JiU greeted, her gaze sweeping over the flowerbeds. “The flowers look beautiful. You’ve really brought some life to the neighborhood.” Her tone was light, yet the compliment carried an unexpected warmth.
“Oh, thanks!” Yoohyeon replied, brushing a petal with her fingers and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, hoping JiU wouldn’t notice the blush rising in her cheeks.
JiU stepped a little closer, her presence filling the space between them. “Listen,” she began, voice warm and inviting, “Y/N and I were talking, and if you’re free tonight, maybe you’d like to come over for dinner? It’d be nice to have a proper evening together, just us neighbors.” Her gaze was intent, as if searching for something in Yoohyeon’s reaction.
Yoohyeon’s breath caught, her mind racing with a mix of excitement and nerves. “Oh—dinner? Sure, I’d love that,” she managed, her voice trembling slightly.
JiU’s smile deepened, her gaze softening as if reassured by Yoohyeon’s answer. “Perfect,” she replied, her voice a touch lower. “Come by around seven; we’ll keep it cozy.” She held Yoohyeon’s gaze a moment longer, leaving Yoohyeon’s heart fluttering in anticipation.
The hours before dinner seemed to stretch and then fly by. Yoohyeon agonized over what to wear, searching for something casual yet flattering. Nervous energy buzzed in her stomach as she made her way up your front steps. When she knocked, her heart pounded, and JiU answered almost instantly, her face lighting up.
“Come on in! You look lovely,” JiU said, her voice rich with warmth as she ushered Yoohyeon inside. A faint scent of spices filled the air, mingling with a subtle floral aroma that heightened Yoohyeon’s awareness of every detail.
You appeared from the kitchen with a tray of small appetizers, smiling as you waved. “Hey, Yoohyeon. Make yourself comfortable,” you said, setting the tray down with a gentle laugh that only added to the inviting ambiance.
JiU handed Yoohyeon a glass of water, their fingers brushing just briefly. The touch sent a spark through Yoohyeon, and she couldn’t help but think of the way she’d watched those fingers move through her binoculars—the gentle, sensual touch. She took a quick sip of water, hoping to cool the flush on her cheeks. Her gaze flickered around the cozy living room, catching the glow of candlelight casting soft shadows along the walls.
“So, Yoohyeon,” JiU’s voice broke through her thoughts, grounding her. “How’s work treating you? Settling in alright?” JiU’s question felt warm, an invitation for Yoohyeon to open up.
“Oh, yeah, it’s been good,” Yoohyeon replied, grateful for the shift in topic. “Teaching is always an adventure. The kids keep it interesting.” She laughed softly, feeling herself relax. “They’re unpredictable, but that’s part of what makes it so rewarding.”
JiU nodded thoughtfully. “Teaching must take a lot of patience. I admire that,” she said, a hint of humor in her tone. “I think I’d run out of it in ten minutes.”
You chuckled, nudging JiU. “You’d last five minutes. Tops.”
The three of you laughed, and conversation began to flow easily, each of you sharing stories from different corners of life. As JiU shared a story about getting hopelessly lost on the subway, laughter filled the room, each of you letting down your guard a little more.
At some point, JiU’s eyes gleamed with curiosity. “Do you have any tattoos, Yoohyeon?”
“Oh, yeah.” Yoohyeon smiled, lifting her shirt slightly to reveal a delicate script along her ribs. “It says ‘Liberté, with a small bird.”
“Liberté,” JiU murmured, leaning in to look. “That’s beautiful. It really suits you.” Her voice was low, almost intimate, and Yoohyeon felt a thrill in her chest. Emboldened, she asked, “Do you have any?”
JiU smiled, tugging her collar to reveal a dreamcatcher tattoo on her shoulder. “To remind me to hold onto what matters and let go of the rest.”
“It’s beautiful,” Yoohyeon said softly, unable to shake the image of tracing the tattoo with her fingers. She glanced over at you, curiosity sparking. “How about you?”
You chuckled, glancing at JiU with a playful roll of your eyes. “No tattoos here. Minji’s tried to convince me, but I don’t think I could handle the pain.”
“Oh, she’s terrified,” JiU teased, nudging you affectionately. “But I think she’d look great with one.” The words lingered, stirring an amused smile as Yoohyeon joined in the laughter, her own inhibitions slipping away.
In the warmth of the moment, Yoohyeon suddenly blurted out, “Honestly, a tattoo would hurt a lot less than your piercings.” Her hand gestured toward your chest, lingering just a second too long. Realizing the implication, her cheeks flushed deeply.
Your eyes widened, a blush spreading as you exchanged a look with JiU. Her lips curved into a sly smile as she turned back to Yoohyeon, eyes gleaming. She leaned forward, eyebrow raised.
“Oh? And how do you know about my wife’s piercings, Yoohyeon?” JiU’s voice was smooth, her words dripping with amusement, making Yoohyeon flush under her steady gaze.
Heat flooded Yoohyeon’s cheeks. “I-I didn’t mean to… I just… I, um…” she stammered, avoiding your gaze.
Beside her, you blushed, looking to JiU, finding comfort in her knowing smile.
JiU leaned closer to Yoohyeon, her tone softening. “So Yoohyeon, Do you like watching our videos” she murmured, tracing gentle circles on Yoohyeon’s arm, She was silent but nodded “Hmm If you want,you could be part of the real thing.” Her eyes held Yoohyeon’s, the invitation clear.
Yoohyeon looked at you, feeling the weight of the invitation. She hesitated, her gaze softening. “Are you… really okay with this?” she asked gently.
Meeting Yoohyeon’s gaze, you smiled softly, reassuring her. “I wouldn't be opposed”
JiU’s eyes sparkled with satisfaction as her fingers brushed Yoohyeon’s arm. “So, what do you say?” she asked warmly. “Would you like to be part of our world?”
The room felt charged, each moment more intense. Yoohyeon took a breath, meeting JiU’s gaze with a smile.
“Yes, please,” she whispered, her voice soft, filled with both excitement and nerves.
As you make your way down the dim hallway, everything feels hushed and close, like the world’s gone quiet around the three of you. Yoohyeon walks between you and JiU, her hand clasped tightly in yours, her breathing just a bit quick, her fingers trembling slightly. JiU’s hand rests gently on her shoulder, steady and warm.
When you reach the bedroom, Yoohyeon pauses, taking a small step back, her gaze dropping to the floor. She presses her lips together, then glances up, her cheeks flushing as she searches for the right words. The room feels charged, anticipation thick, but she shifts slightly, looking uncertain.
“I… I didn’t plan for this,” she murmurs, voice low, almost to herself. She hesitates, crossing her arms as if shielding herself, a faint blush coloring her face. “I didn't, uh, exactly… prepare myself” Her eyes shift downward just below her stomach.
JiU steps in, her expression softening. She reaches out, gently tilting Yoohyeon’s chin so their eyes meet. “Yoohyeon,” she says quietly, her tone firm yet kind. “You don’t have to worry about that.”
The words settle into the silence, and Yoohyeon’s expression eases, a flicker of relief softening her eyes. She leans into JiU’s touch, her breath slowing as some of the tension leaves her. A shy smile lifts her lips, and she glances your way, as if looking for further reassurance.
You give her hand a small, comforting squeeze. “She’s right,” you murmur. “Also, I think its kind of sexy”
Yoohyeon’s face relaxes a little more, her shoulders dropping as she lets herself take a deeper breath. With a slight, tentative smile, she reaches down, fingers pausing for a moment before lifting her shirt over her head, letting it fall to the floor. She stands there, a bit vulnerable but resolute, a blush warming her cheeks as she glances from you to JiU.
The soft light highlights the natural curves of her skin. She hesitates again, glancing at the slight patch of hair, a flicker of worry crossing her expression. But JiU steps closer, her hand brushing Yoohyeon’s arm in a quiet, reassuring gesture.
With a warm smile, JiU takes her in fully, her gaze steady. She reaches up to tuck a loose strand of Yoohyeon’s hair behind her ear, letting her fingers linger a moment. “You’re beautiful, Yoohyeon,” she says simply.
Yoohyeon lets out a quiet breath, her face softening with a mixture of shyness and relief. She looks between you both, then nods slightly, giving a small, genuine smile. Her body language loosens as she steps in closer, her warmth blending with yours, each touch a quiet affirmation that she’s wanted, just as she is. The three of you stand there, a gentle understanding settling over you all as you hold each other close, a quiet connection shared in the stillness of the room.
A shaky breath escapes Yoohyeon as JiU’s gaze settles on her, warm but undeniably commanding. Yoohyeon’s longing is palpable, and JiU takes her time, letting that desire simmer. Slowly, she leans in, brushing her lips softly over Yoohyeon’s, the kiss beginning gentle before deepening into something more consuming, drawing Yoohyeon closer as her breath catches. JiU’s hand rests on her arm, a steady anchor, fingers pressing just enough to show intent. Each touch from JiU electrifies Yoohyeon, a perfect balance of reassurance and intensity that leaves her pliant, already breathless.
Watching beside them, you’re drawn into the unfolding moment, savoring Yoohyeon’s reaction under JiU’s skilled touch—the way her eyes flutter shut, how her breathing hitches with quiet anticipation. JiU’s gaze briefly meets yours, a spark of control evident, as if reminding you of your place in this shared space. It stirs something raw in you, a familiar exhilaration mixed with a quiet submission to JiU’s presence, though there’s a different energy between you and Yoohyeon.
With a small smile, you reach out, your hand settling warmly on Yoohyeon’s thigh, your touch gentle but grounding, a reminder that she’s here, with both of you. Yoohyeon’s gaze drifts to you, her eyes softened, seeking reassurance, and you respond by squeezing her thigh, letting her feel your steady support, balanced between JiU’s authoritative energy and your own firm but comforting presence.
JiU’s focus returns fully to Yoohyeon as she guides her toward the bed, easing her down onto the soft sheets with a deliberate tenderness. There’s a practiced confidence in JiU’s movements as she brushes Yoohyeon’s hair back from her face, letting her fingers trail along the line of her jaw before tracing down the delicate curve of her neck. She leans in, pressing her lips to Yoohyeon’s collarbone, lingering, savoring each soft gasp Yoohyeon lets out in response.
Beside them, you settle onto the bed, your hand moving slowly higher on Yoohyeon’s thigh, grounding her with a presence that’s both firm and gentle. As JiU’s touch intensifies, guiding Yoohyeon’s breaths to come in short, anticipatory gasps, you find yourself caught between the energy they share. You want to keep Yoohyeon steady, but JiU’s movements send a different thrill through you, a pull you find hard to ignore as your own dynamic with JiU stirs within.
JiU’s attention stays fixed on Yoohyeon, her touch reverent yet possessive, as if she’s savoring every response Yoohyeon gives. Her hand trails deliberately over Yoohyeon’s skin, slow yet insistent, her fingers brushing over her arm, her collarbone, every touch deepening the flush on Yoohyeon’s cheeks. Each movement is infused with a quiet dominance, a confidence that seems to wrap around you both, filling the air with its own quiet intensity. Yoohyeon’s breath catches with each stroke, her body relaxing under JiU’s touch, fully yielding to her guidance.
You watch, captivated, as JiU leans in closer, her mouth tracing delicate, intentional kisses along Yoohyeon’s neck, pausing just enough to let her feel every touch. The sight sends a thrill through you but also a subtle pang that you try to brush aside, yet the quiet ache grows as JiU’s attention remains focused on Yoohyeon, her touch almost exclusive. It leaves you on the edge, caught between the warmth you feel for Yoohyeon and the deeper pull JiU has on you.
Taking a steady breath, you press your hand slightly more firmly against Yoohyeon’s thigh, a silent reminder of your own role here. Yoohyeon shifts her gaze to you, and for a moment, the tension eases as her lips curve into a soft, reassuring smile. You meet her gaze, allowing yourself to ground her, pressing a series of light, lingering kisses along her skin. Yoohyeon sighs, her face relaxing as your touches soothe her, anchoring her in the moment, even as JiU’s hands roam with a possessive grace that leaves Yoohyeon visibly breathless.
JiU’s eyes catch yours, a knowing glint flashing across her face, as if she senses your quiet frustration simmering beneath the surface. She lets her fingers trace down the line of Yoohyeon’s hip, moving with that same deliberate care, drawing Yoohyeon’s body into her rhythm as she makes her shiver, her soft sounds filling the space around you. JiU tilts her head, her gaze sharp, her smile carrying a hint of playful challenge, a reminder of her role here and the depth of control she holds over you both.
“You’re doing so well, sweetie,” JiU murmurs to Yoohyeon, her voice a soothing purr. The words settle into the room, layered with a quiet encouragement that makes your pulse quicken as well, grounding you both in the same energy. You lean forward, brushing more intent kisses along Yoohyeon’s thigh, each one deliberate, marking your own space in this moment, letting her feel the shared warmth between all three of you.
Yoohyeon’s breaths quicken as your kisses travel upward, trailing along her inner thigh with a quiet intensity. Her body shifts between you and JiU, her skin warm under your touch, as you savor the softness of her in contrast to JiU’s more demanding presence. The ache you feel at JiU’s control lingers, the quiet jealousy simmering as her touches continue, each one seeming to pull Yoohyeon deeper into her orbit.
JiU’s hand settles possessively over Yoohyeon’s heart, her thumb brushing lightly as she murmurs, “Relax, Yoohyeon.” Her words are gentle, yet laced with authority, reminding Yoohyeon of the safety within her guidance. And when JiU catches your gaze again, there’s a subtle understanding there, a glint that speaks directly to the tension in your chest, as if she knows exactly how you feel, balancing on the edge of this connection.
Watching JiU’s fingers trace lightly over Yoohyeon’s thigh, you can’t help the possessive spark flaring within you. But rather than retreat, you choose to lean further in, letting your hand trail upward along Yoohyeon’s waist, steady and grounding as you press a kiss to her stomach. Yoohyeon’s body shifts, her hand gripping onto your shoulder as if to anchor herself, and for the first time, you let yourself get lost in the warmth radiating between the three of you, knowing you each have a place in this shared space.
Each kiss you place is firm, filled with intent, a quiet promise that you’re here, present in this moment. As you move upward, your lips trace a line over Yoohyeon’s collarbone, feeling the way her breath hitches, her hands finding their way to you, clutching as if drawing strength from you. The earlier pangs of jealousy fade slightly, replaced by a sense of connection, of being fully seen and cherished alongside her.
JiU’s hand rests over Yoohyeon’s heart, her thumb grazing her skin. “Look how ready she is for us,” she murmurs, her gaze slipping between you both, emphasizing the us with a possessive pride that settles the final edge of tension inside you. Her words hang in the air, a reminder of the beauty in this shared intimacy, and as you let yourself sink deeper, you feel the quiet exhilaration shared between all three of you.
Your wife brushes a strand of hair from Yoohyeon’s face, her smile soft and filled with pride. “You’re amazing, both of you,” she murmurs, holding Yoohyeon’s gaze with a warmth that feels momentarily exclusive. Then she glances at you, a spark of playfulness lighting her eyes. “And we’re just getting started.”
JiU’s eyes glint with mischief as she meets Yoohyeon’s gaze, a playful smirk on her lips. She nods toward the closet in a silent cue. You rise, feeling a mix of thrill and something deeper as you move to retrieve two straps—one smaller, one larger.
As you hold them up, you feel the slightest pang of possessiveness mixed with a quiet sense of defiance, grounding you in the moment as JiU’s attention shifts between you both. You turn back to Yoohyeon, meeting her eyes as she hesitates, her gaze flickering over the options before settling on the smaller one, excitement lighting up her expression as she chooses.
“Perfect,” JiU says, her voice low and encouraging, giving Yoohyeon a soft kiss along her jaw as her fingers graze her cheek. “Just let go and enjoy. Focus on us, and trust that you’re right where you belong.”
Yoohyeon nods, her eyes softening as JiU holds her close, her touch grounding the moment. You stand nearby, watching as JiU’s gaze lingers on Yoohyeon. Feeling that familiar spark of possessiveness, something came over you, as you silently set aside the smaller strap, choosing the larger one with a quiet determination.
With calm focus, you position yourself behind Yoohyeon, your hands steady on her hips, your touch warm against her skin. Each move carries a deliberate intensity, a reminder of your place here. You guide her closer to JiU, your touches unhurried, reflecting everything you’ve kept quietly restrained, setting a tone for the night ahead.
JiU’s expression softens as she tilts Yoohyeon’s chin upward, her voice a gentle murmur. “Are you ready?” she asks, her gaze warm as she caresses Yoohyeon’s cheek. Yoohyeon’s eyes shift between the two of you, trust and excitement flickering in her gaze before she nods. JiU leans in to kiss her, tender but with a commanding edge, then guides Yoohyeon’s face towards her core, her movements unhurried and patient as Yoohyeon’s anticipation deepens at the sight.
The moment of penetration elicits a sharp gasp from Yoohyeon, her body instinctively tensing as she tries to adjust to the unfamiliar sensation filling her. The pressure is intense, almost foreign, and it sends an electric wave of sensation through her, somewhere between pain and a thrilling pleasure she’s never felt before. Her fingers tighten reflexively, seeking any form of anchor as the object works itself inside, her senses heightening with each passing second. She shudders, pressing closer to JiU, her face buried against JiU’s legs, muffling the small, breathy cries escaping her lips.
The sounds of Yoohyeon’s voice seem to ignite something deep within JiU, who strokes her hair soothingly, her fingers threading softly but insistently. JiU’s hands guide her. The calm presence grounding Yoohyeon as she navigates the unfamiliar territory of sensation and vulnerability. Yoohyeon feels a rush of heat flood her cheeks, embarrassed by how intensely her body reacts. Each small movement makes her gasp or flinch, Then a particularly forceful thrusts propels her forward leaving no room between her and Jiu.
With slow, but deep movements, each thrust brings her further out of her discomfort and deeper into a sensation that is both electrifying and almost painfully raw. The rhythm builds subtly, adding an undertone of urgency that Yoohyeon isn’t ready to admit to. Her breaths come quicker, ragged, and each inhale draws in the faint, warm scent of JiU, Her mouth trying to explore every inch of her cave
Watching the way JiU’s features melt into pure, unfiltered bliss stirs an extra layer jealousy within you. The sight of Yoohyeon nuzzling into JiU’s folds, lips grazing her skin in worship, makes your pulse quicken, a possessive instinct sparking to life. Your hands, steady until now, tighten on Yoohyeon’s hips, holding her more firmly, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath your fingertips. You let your pace quicken incrementally, enough to draw a whimper from Yoohyeon as the intensity shifts, her body instinctively pressing deeper against JiU.
JiU, eyes half-lidded in pleasure, tilts her head, her fingers still tracing gentle circles over Yoohyeon’s skin. She glances at you, concern flickering across her gaze as she notices the shift in your demeanor. “Honey… slow down a bit,” she murmurs, her voice gentle yet steady, her touch briefly pressing to your arm as if to calm the possessive fire building within you.
You nod, easing back into a softer, controlled rhythm. The moment feels fragile, balanced on a knife’s edge, and for a brief time, you believe the surge of intensity has been quelled. But as your wife's attention turns fully back to Yoohyeon, her voice lowering into murmured praises that bring a fresh flush to Yoohyeon’s cheeks, you feel it again, the jealousy that you didn't know you had, start to resurface. JiU’s voice is soft and tender, her praises a balm that soothes Yoohyeon’s trembling breaths, each word a gentle brush that eases her into surrender.
Your grip tightens on Yoohyeon’s hips, your fingers pressing firmly, possessively into her skin, Yoohyeon’s breath hitches as she feels the slight roughness in your touch, her head tilting back as a low, shuddering gasp escapes her. “Oh god… ow—” she pants, her voice trembling with the sheer need building within her. The rhythm intensifies, each slow, deliberate movement drawing out more of her, pushing her closer to the edge. Her hands twist into the sheets, her knuckles whitening as she struggles to hold on, each breath coming in gasps that grow heavier, more desperate.
“Oh—please… I—” Yoohyeon’s voice dissolves, her words reduced to a raw, pleading moan, every sound a testament to the sensations flooding her. The tension builds with every heartbeat, her entire body taut, alive, waiting for the release that hovers just out of reach. Her breaths quicken, her chest rising and falling as her muscles tense and release, the sensations coursing through her like an unstoppable wave.
Finally, the pressure breaks, and Yoohyeon cries out, her release overtaking her in an uncontrollable shudder. She clings to JiU burying her face, her body wracked by tremors as the pleasure spills over, leaving her breathless and utterly spent. Every fiber of her being surrenders in that moment, each shaky breath mingling with the warmth of JiU’s embrace, the sensation grounding her even as it sweeps her away.
JiU’s reaction is instinctual, immediate. The tremor that runs through Yoohyeon ripples into her, drawing a soft, satisfied moan from her lips. Her fingers tighten their hold in Yoohyeon’s hair as her own body responds, hips rocking forward involuntarily. JiU’s chest rises and falls, her breaths quickening as she lets the feeling sweep over her, each wave drawing her deeper into the haze of pleasure. Her eyes flutter shut, her body quivering in sync with Yoohyeon’s, as if the intensity of the moment binds them in a shared heartbeat.
The sight, the sound, the very essence of their shared surrender sparks something deeper within you—a visceral need to take Yoohyeon higher, to push her beyond the limits of what she thought possible. Your rhythm builds again, driven by a primal, possessive urge, every thrust maxing out her climax. Yoohyeon’s body responds, muscles clenching and releasing in waves as she’s drawn into a rhythm beyond her control. Her breath catches, her chest heaving as her mind dissolves in a swirl of raw sensation.
With each movement, Yoohyeon’s cries become sharper, her body more sensitive than ever before. Her back arches, her hands digging in the soft flesh of Jiu's thighs as her body shakes with the intensity.
The room fills with the sound of ragged breathing, punctuated by gasps and whispered pleas, a harmony of sensations that wraps around the three of you, Yoohyeon cries out one last time, her body numb and hurting, leaving her breathless, completely undone.
As you withdraw, JiU shifts upright, her gaze falling downward—and freezing when she notices the larger strap combined with the small tears threatening to fall of Yoohyeon's eyes. Surprise and disappointment flicker across her expression as she looks back at you, slowly shaking her head.
“Hey,” she says, her voice firm. “Why did you use that? She chose the smaller one for a reason.” Her eyes are steady and narrowing “You, of all people, should know to respect that.”
Guilt flashes across your face as JiU’s gentle reprimand settles over you. With an unspoken authoritative aura, she guides both you and Yoohyeon to lie side-by-side, her gaze warm but unyielding, making it clear who holds control. Her presence fills the room, and as her fingers trace along your thighs in light, teasing patterns, there’s an undeniable air of anticipation.
“Now,” JiU murmurs, eyes glinting with playful satisfaction. “I think it’s time for a lesson.” Her touch slows, one hand finding Yoohyeon’s core with a steady rhythm, each movement precise, deliberate, as her fingers trace patterns that leave Yoohyeon shivering and breathless. But her other hand on you is painstakingly slow, her fingertips drifting with an almost unbearable lightness, just enough to stir, to leave you squirming in anticipation.
Yoohyeon lets out a soft whimper, her body instinctively arching into JiU's touch as her fingers skim over the sensitive skin of her thigh. “JiU… please,” she whispers, her voice breathless, eyes locked onto her with raw intensity.
JiU’s smile deepens, a gleam of satisfaction in her gaze as her fingers linger just shy of where Yoohyeon craves her touch. “Patience.” she murmurs, her tone a blend of affection and control. “If I go too fast it will hurt you,”
Her attention shifts to you, her fingers tracing agonizingly slow circles along your thigh, light enough to make you squirm. "Minji..." Your voice is a soft, needy plea as your hands grip the sheets. "Please... can you go faster."
A low chuckle escapes JiU's lips, her smile widening. “You don’t get to ask, honey,” she teases, leaning close, her voice a soft murmur that sends a thrill through you. “Not after how you treated our guest today. An apology is in order.”
Her touch remains deliberate, shifting seamlessly between you and Yoohyeon. Every time Yoohyeon's breath hitches or her body tenses, JiU keeps her rhythm steady. Meanwhile, her hand on you moves with excruciating slowness, each featherlight stroke teasing but withholding satisfaction. The effect is intoxicating—leaving you both simmering, each touch drawing you further into her control.
“Faster” Yoohyeon’s voice fades into a moan, her body taut with need, each pause becoming a delicious ache.
Your own breaths quicken, and just when your eyes flutter closed, teetering on the brink, JiU withdraws again with a soft chuckle, her gaze amused as she watches the flush deepen on your face. "Minji… please, I'm sorry." you whisper, voice tinged with desperation.
JiU meets your gaze, her expression both warm and teasing as she cups your chin, directing your focus toward Yoohyeon. “Apologize to her not me and I might consider.” she says softly, her voice carrying an unmistakable command.
Turning to Yoohyeon, you search her face, a rush of sincerity coloring your voice. “Yoohyeon… I’m sorry,” you say earnestly. “I never meant to hurt you.” The words linger, filled with unspoken emotion.
Yoohyeon’s expression softens, her cheeks flushed as her hand reaches to rest on yours. “It’s okay,” she whispers, her voice tender. “It hurt at first, but… I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel good.”
A hint of satisfaction flickers across JiU’s face, and she rewards Yoohyeon’s patience with a deeper touch, her fingers moving with intent, coaxing Yoohyeon’s body to respond. Yoohyeon gasps, her breaths quickening as she arches under JiU’s steady rhythm, her need apparent as she sinks into the sensation.
JiU’s gaze shifts to you, her eyes softening in approval as she nods, encouraging you to join in. You lean closer to Yoohyeon, hands gently finding her chest, your touch warm and tender as you trace soft circles over her skin. Yoohyeon’s breath catches, her body responding instinctively to the combined attention, her gaze meeting yours with gratitude and excitement.
You lower your lips to her collarbone, your kisses trailing down to her chest, every gentle press designed to bring her pleasure. Yoohyeon’s soft moans blend with the rhythm of JiU’s movements, each sound spurring you to deepen your touch, your fingers grazing her with reverence.
JiU’s hand remains steady on Yoohyeon, her fingers coaxing her closer to the edge, guiding her with the perfect rhythm as she murmurs, “Let go, Yoohyeon. Feel everything… don’t hold back.” The warmth in her voice is a reassurance, a command, urging Yoohyeon to release.
Yoohyeon’s hands find yours, her fingers entwined as she clutches at you, her breaths coming in gasps as her body arches, giving herself over to the sensations. Your lips move against her skin, each kiss, each touch drawing her closer. She tenses, her voice breaking into soft cries, her body finally reaching its peak.
With a shuddering breath, Yoohyeon succumbs, her hands clutching you tightly as each wave overtakes her, her soft moans filling the air as she finds release. Her breaths come heavy, and she melts into your arms, her eyes fluttering open, her gaze meeting yours with gratitude and affection. JiU’s smile deepens, pride evident in her expression as you both hold Yoohyeon through each tremor, your touch a steady, reassuring presence.
With a kiss to Yoohyeon’s cheek, JiU murmurs, “Do you want a sneak peek of our next video?” Her voice is soft yet brimming with excitement, and Yoohyeon’s eyes light up, nodding weakly as she savors the warmth of the moment.
JiU’s hands are steady and sure as she gently positions you and Yoohyeon face-to-face, her calm assurance guiding you into place. She eases your legs apart, leaving you open in front of Yoohyeon’s wide-eyed gaze. Her touch drifts lower, fingers moving with precision, each rhythmic stroke pulling you closer to the edge. Her other hand finds your breast, expertly toying with the pierced nipple, the cool metal sending a delightful shiver against your warmth. Your head tips back, breaths coming in quicker under her skilled, steady touch.
Yoohyeon’s gaze remains locked, her eyes unblinking as she absorbs each nuanced motion. Breath shallow and body still, she is captivated by the energy between you and JiU, as if it wraps around her like a charged current. Her heartbeat quickens, matching the rhythm JiU sets—each precise stroke, each deliberate tug that draws soft gasps from your lips. With every shift in JiU’s movements, Yoohyeon feels herself drawn further into the moment, as if JiU’s touch extends through the room’s tension, reaching her too.
JiU’s focus sharpens, her touch unwavering as her fingers move inside you with unyielding intent, guiding you with each practiced stroke to the edge. Her fingers curl to explore your most sensitive places, igniting a powerful current that travels through your entire body. Instinctively, your hand clings to her arm, a silent plea for release as you surrender to her control, every wave of sensation coursing through you under her skilled guidance.
"Cum... now!" JiU whispers as she simultaneously give you a soft bite on your neck. The words sink in, reverberating through you, unlocking a raw tension that has been building. Her command—firm yet filled with tenderness—becomes the final spark that tips you over, dissolving the last of your resistance as her presence anchors you in place.
Under JiU’s expert guidance, a tidal wave of sensation floods your body, each nerve heightened, every inch alive. The world blurs as every part of you surrenders to the crescendo building within. Your back arches, helpless against the surge, muscles taut as your head falls back, eyes closed, and a sharp, unrestrained cry escapes your lips.
The pleasure is unstoppable, a wave that crests and breaks with a fierceness that consumes you entirely. It rushes through your body, an intense warmth that spills outward, flowing down to Yoohyeon, who lies below, a willing recipient of your shared experience. She gasps as the intimate liquid reaches her, coating her chest and stomach with the evidence of your release. Some of your juices even reaches her mouth, allowing her to taste the sweet and salty essence of you
For a heartbeat, Yoohyeon is frozen, mesmerized by the fluid that seeps into her skin, filling her with an exhilaration that is both grounding and electrifying. The room itself seems to hold its breath, thick with the shared intensity surrounding you all. Every sound, every heartbeat is amplified in this suspended moment, creating a symphony of sensation that envelops the space.
Yoohyeon's chest rises and falls with ragged, soft breaths, each inhale pulling in the lingering scent that coats her. Her gaze stays fixed on you, lips parted, eyes glistening with awe. Her flushed skin a testament to the power of your pleasure. The energy is unrestrained, enveloping her and leaving her equally breathless, equally awestruck by the intensity of the moment.
JiU, the maestro of this symphony, watches with a satisfied smile, her hands steadying you with soothing touches as she gently lowers you from the heights of your climax. She leans in, pressing a tender kiss to your shoulder. Then, with a gentleness that belies the strength of her presence, she brushes a few damp strands from Yoohyeon's flushed face. Her gaze is warm, filled with pride and affection for both of you—her protégés in the art of pleasure.
“Better not spoil that for any other fans,” JiU murmurs, a playful note in her voice, her gaze lingering fondly on the shared connection filling the room.
With a final, gentle reverence, JiU leans down, her lips trailing soft, intimate kisses over every inch touched by your release. Each kiss feels like a blessing, a quiet act of devotion that fills the room with a serene warmth. Her lips linger on Yoohyeon’s flushed skin, delicate yet deliberate, as though committing each moment to memory. Yoohyeon’s eyes flutter closed, savoring the tenderness.
JiU then turns her attention to you, her touch unhurried, as if there’s all the time in the world. Her hands drift over your skin, fingers grazing softly, leaving warmth in their wake. There’s an unspoken affection in her gaze, her touch, a quiet promise that the intimacy shared tonight isn’t fleeting. As she presses a final, featherlight kiss to your lips, you feel a sense of completion, a fullness that settles deeply within.
Eventually, as the moment’s glow begins to settle into a gentle stillness, JiU helps you and Yoohyeon gather your things. Her hands are soft and unhurried, fingers brushing with care as she smooths tousled hair and adjusts clothing, each touch infused with a lingering tenderness. Every gesture feels like a quiet vow, an intention to hold on to the intimacy woven between you all tonight. Her knowing smile catches yours and Yoohyeon’s in turn, a silent acknowledgment of the closeness you now share.
When fully dressed, your hand instinctively finds Yoohyeon’s. Her fingers wrap around yours in a gentle yet steadying grip, her legs still a bit shaky as she stands beside you. Her gaze meets yours, and then drifts back to JiU, whose warm expression seems to say it all—a quiet pride in the bond she’s nurtured tonight.
As Yoohyeon steadies herself, gathering her belongings, she steps slowly toward the door, each movement deliberate, her legs still a little unsteady from the shared closeness. Just as her hand reaches the handle, JiU places a hand on her shoulder, leaning close with a playful glint in her eyes. “Maybe next time, you could make a little cameo in one of our videos,” she murmurs with a wink, her voice carrying a lighthearted warmth.
Yoohyeon’s cheeks flush, but there’s a newfound ease in her smile as she meets JiU’s gaze, sharing a glance with you as well. Her eyes sparkle, holding a quiet thrill as she nods, voice soft yet brimming with promise. “I’ll keep that in mind,” she replies, warmth threading through her words.
Stepping outside, the cool night air greets her like a gentle embrace, grounding and refreshing her. She walks slowly down the path, her heart fluttering, her steps still a bit tentative but full of joy, as though she’s carrying a spark of the night with her. Her smile lingers as she reaches her door, realizing with a soft chuckle that she won’t be needing her binoculars or her phone anymore. There’s no more distance to bridge, no more glances from afar—only the closeness she now holds deeply, a warmth that will linger long after the night fades.
Even More Dead Boy Detectives Fic Recs
I've discovered some amazing new authors since my last post! And writers I've already recced have published more great stories So here's another fic rec post!
Who? You mean your teammate in the Codependency World Cup? (series) by RoseGanymede95
I couldn't chose! They're all great! Basically a series of Edwin and Charles through the years and on cases pre-show. It scratches that adjusting-to-being-dead/newly-escaped-from-Hell itch and the authors writing is magic! It also fleshes out a really interesting conflict in the payneland dynamic: Charles' drive to protect Edwin at all costs clashing with Edwin's guilt over putting Charles at risk/depriving him of some ideal afterlife. Parts one and four also introduces Constantine/Johanna and part three revolves around an absolutely gut-wrenching temporary break-up. 😢
In Hell I'll Be in Good Company by laylabinx
Charles rescuing Edwin from Hell does not go smoothly. Just. Bucketloads of Trauma for both of them. And for you, the Reader. It's so good though!
your fangs in my neck (like an anchor like a vow) by shadowquill17
Vampire Edwin AU! It's great because it combines the (homo)eroticism of vampiric feeding with Charles' whole bisexual crisis and post-confession Edwin worrying about making Charles uncomfortable. Also Charles is some kind of demigod/immortal agent of divine vengeance which is an AMAZING detail and I desperately want to see some fanart!
The same author's ongoing story to the pain is also excellent though very angsty (cw temporary character death). I'm anxiously waiting for an update!
To Memory Now I Can't Recall by engineering_madonna
This is an amnesia fic and the most recent in an established relationship series. The first two installments feature the boys getting together and navigating their new relationship, so pulling the old 'character A forgets their whole romantic relationship with character B' trope hits especially hard! The whole series is lovely, but I am WEAK for temporary-amnesia.
Lemonade & Sunrises by paraph
A Quiet Place AU! The boys are alive, but they're the only ones. Very bleak but in a way that makes me want more!
1999 au (series) by websters_lieb
The boys figure their shit out in the 90s. Also, Edwin gets to read Maurice and queer theory. The cases in both stories are compelling and the author's writing and characterisation of the boys are excellent.
I also recommend offer me that deathless death which is about the boys' first meeting, Charles' funeral and the birth of the agency.
if I could reach the stars (i'd give them all to you) by ObsessedWithFandom
Charles falls first, Edwin falls harder. This is an AU of the author's excellent Charles' bisexual awakening fic, which I also highly recommend. It has lovely OCs and Charles having a sweet little friendship/romance with the boy he saved in canon, which actually makes his death a whole lot more tragic.
Came up from that lake of fire by ghostinthelibrary
Charles and Edwin get caught escaping Hell and promise to capture a demon-eating ghost called The Deathless in exchange for their freedom. With the added twist that they get to be alive again! An exciting case, high stakes and all the alive-again culture shocks and emotional/interpersonal drama you could ask for.
gig officially gigged by laiqualaurelote
Band AU! It shouldn't work but it does. Which might also be an in-universe review for the band tbh. Idk, I loved Edwin's massive obscure musical instruments and Charles being his unpaid roadie. Peak Found Family Feels.
No Rehearsing It, No Reversing It by DontOffendTheBees
Charles overthinks being in love with Edwin, my beloved. This time with increasingly flimsy pretexts for why they NEED to kiss. Just perfect Idiots in Love, no notes.
The Case of David Bowie's Made up Sexuality by williamvapespeare
The agency attempt to help a living lesbian couple deal with a haunting. Meanwhile, Charles struggles through his bisexual (re)awakening. With bonus past (living) Charles no-homo-ing himself to the nth degree. Pure of heart, dumb of ass, indeed.
The lamps are going out by CasiHuman
Vengeful Spirit Edwin AU! Has some interesting ghost lore and Edwin being convinced his touch is painful to Charles (love that trope!). Also features some of the author's adorable/hilarious fanart at the end.
just frame the halves (and call them brothers) by Anonymous
Crystal stumbles upon the ghost of Edwin's older brother, who hires the agency to free him and his platoon from the battleground they've been haunting. Case fic with interesting details about Edwin's family life and an awkward as hell family reunion.
the case of the very long ferry ride by obsceme
Sex pollen but with skin hunger, so it's more touching turned making out and hand jobs in a bathroom. Interesting use of ghost lore and it's cute and well written.
Form 239, Schedule L by sanctuary_for_all
Charles Rowland's Love Language is Acts of Service: The Fic. So many feels! Plus Afterlife worldbuilding and some quality Night Nurse rep.
don't go sharing your devotions (lay all your love on me) by Hephanna
The boys and Crystal accidentally summon an alternate universe version of Charles. He's very... handsy. Charles being jealous of himself is objectively hilarious and it looks like it could be heading towards throuple territory. Possibly even a foursome, if alternate Edwin figures out parallel universe travel. Which he probably will.
Still a Better Lovestory by Vamillepudding
Hanahaki disease! Charles is on the case but Edwin's being weirdly uncooperative about his own curse. I loved the worldbuilding (there's a whole sisterhood of washerwomen!) and the angst, plus the writing is excellent.
The author has also written Eternal Sunshine, in which Edwin is cursed to feel no love of any kind. It makes for an interesting character study, contrasting cursed Edwin, his public reserve and his actual personality.
