edit: and i forgot to add that they both have terrible movie adaptations

(i didnt watch the percy jackson movies, but ive heard from friends that are big fans say theyre bad)

I never got over the ridiculous ending that Jemma had, they weren't a good couple, I know, I've said before that they were dysfunctional in several ways, but I wanted a dignified ending. I wish they had understood that they were not made for each other and that they both sought comfort in each other that hurt them more than it helped. I wanted something more mature and not a stupid fight over a stupid phone call!They barely get along after that, if it weren't for that shitty phone call they would still be together.

I have nothing against Noor, but her romance with Jacobe is extremely poorly written, it started too quickly and without any depth, they meet in one day and in less than a week they kiss,they love each other very much, and are apparently madly in love with each other. I can understand that Jemma started out like this. Emma contributed to this. She wanted a replacement for Abe, and Jacob was confused and needy. The romance and attachment being quick is justifiable. Ransom built them up well as a couple to the point that a good part of the fandom embraced it even though it was weird as hell.

Things could have worked out. Emma and Jacob end things in a mature way, Jacob suffers, recovers, starts a new romance, a well-constructed romance with Noor and that's it, I would have nothing to complain about. But that just didn't happen. I SCREAMED IN ANGRY WHEN JACOB KISSED NOOR IN FRONT OF EMMA AND HER WHOLE FAMILY WHEN HE AND NOOR HAD ONLY KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR A FEW DAYS. HE DIDN'T CONSIDER EMMA'S FEELINGS OR THE HUMILIATION THIS WAS FOR HER.

Anyway, I hate the Jacoor ship because it's Canon but it's poorly constructed, my revenge is to always draw the characters separately. There is no fanart of mine where Jacob is near Emma or Noor. That was the most acceptable ending for me, Jacob alone. No woman deserves to be in a relationship with a man from the Portman family, they are all idiots.

it just occurred to me that if noor ate caul's soul in TDoDA, there's a possibility she has access to caul's peculiarity and memories when he a wight and/or the souls he consumed in abaton...

think about it. light eaters were mentioned in museum of wonders but the books made it seem like they're one of the rarest and most powerful type of peculiars (along with the librarians). noor killing caul must have some form of powerful consequence, right???
