I want to watch a playthrough of TLOU 2 or I’ll never survive the show. I need spoilers to mentally and emotionally prepare. Is there a Twitch streamer you recommend for watching a playthrough?

So I haven't ever watched an actual playthrough - because I don't like listening to people talk over in game dialogue and about what they're doing.

BUT, I can recommend compilations of the cutscenes, which eliminate a lot of the running around without losing the story. This is the one I usually use when I need to reference scenes or dialogue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iss5bRQ7yVM&t=5s

It's from the original release of the game, so there ARE newer ones from the remaster, but the one I linked is the most "complete". And I'm not sure - I WANT to come soon (maybe April - who knows what's going to happen with the new season) but we'll definitely be there for Oasis in September; we're staying in Jersey I think, but plan on coming into NYC for at least a day!

Anon, you cannot open a gate that was never closed.

I am very vocal about my love for HIStory 4: Close to You. It's at the top of my favorites list (9/10), and it's my favorite HIStory, beating out Trapped and Crossing the Line. I make no excuses for any part of it because I liked every part of it.

But mainly, like you, I loved Li Cheng played by Charles Tu.

Honestly, Taiwan has never served a bad-looking or bad-acting lead, which is one of the many reasons I prefer Taiwanese BLs above all others, so Charles Tu sits in good company.

Yet one of the reason I'm also a little disappointed watching Taiwanese BLs is because they are sparse on color-coding. We Best Love had the most obvious color-coding.

And Oh No! Here Comes Trouble, which is not a BL but it's not hetero either, had some subtle color-coding.

49 Days with a Merman colored the merman with blue since he came from the water, while the lead was in greens, browns, and oranges since he was of the land (but this plot was all over the place).

I don't watch non-queer or non-queer coded shows, so I have no idea if color-coding isn't a norm in Taiwanese media, but I'm hoping that one of this year's BLs will give me colors.

But first, Taiwan has to release a BL this year.

It's been too long without a Taiwanese BL. Five months. One-hundred and forty-eight days.

I miss them.

I have a (very very basic) prompt to share with you!!✨

So, in the same way Sherlock has a musical side that acts as a form of escapism for him, she’s also musical - I’m imagining like a pianist in this scene. She’s had a bad day and comes home expecting him to be there but he’s out on a case. Maybe he’s left her a note. She goes over to the piano and starts to play, either a song that is special to them or one he’s composed for her. She gets lost in the music and is only snapped out of it by the sound of him coming up the stairs. She continues to play when, all of a sudden, she feels him gently hold her shoulders and plant a soft kiss on the crown of her head. Before she can react, he’s picked up his violin and is accompanying her. As the piece comes to an end they catch each other’s eye and, with a loving smile, greet the other with a soft “Hi”/“Hello”…

Obviously kissing and cuddling and all the good stuff ensues but I just thought that silent intimacy was so sweet and had to share!🤍

That was lovely!! Just what I needed to read...something soft and sweet <3 after saying hi, they ask each other about their day.

I had a good weekend, it was awfully busy and so was the week honestly, and i'm really behind in other stuffs. I miss you and the girls and tumblr and reading! I hope you had a nice weekend and I hope you have fabulous week starting tomorrow!
