I’m really glad you enjoyed gold, it’s one of my favorite movies of the OP franchise!! Zoro my beloved. Also damn they really threatened to publicly execute Zoro like that (keeping in mind this is AFTER Ace stuff so. I always felt that may have dug up some negative emotions for Luffy.)

And while I understand that the whole gold dust thing was done to have sway over everyone that comes in, Zoro is still the only Straw Hat who’s canonically always wearing gold—dude has those earrings in!! It would’ve been fun to see such a present detail of his character used against him like that. Although I faintly recall hearing at one point that Tesero only has control over gold he’s touched im still unsure about it.

Law and Bepo definitely need to be in more of the movies tbh. I love them.

I think this is also like the second or third movie where Zoro’s been captured and held at ransom; but this was the only one where it was solely him.

Also I can’t shoutout the outfits enough!! Loved the fits. Very good stuff.

I’ll forever be disappointed that there isn’t more fan content of this movie, especially in Luzo terms; shit was GOOD.

and honestly???? i think movie itself wasnt luzo enough! that with Zoro captured i was expecting more freaked out Luffys but we only got first capture and luffy running down a hallway yelling ZOROOOOOO

honestly Zoro telling Chopper to not come closer when he begun getting Midas touched - was more emotional than Luffy stuff...big brother Zoro moment love that

like i said i kinda didnt like how chill everyone was abt Zoro being captured

i guess they had to keep the tone light but i wish there were more Very Angry Luffy moment so Nami could be like- that Tesoro dickhead is all abt theatrics so he won't do anything before the time he set himself - we will get Zoro out before that! and for Luffy to be like ye you are right you are right :')))

my gay wishes for THAT to be emotional core instead of - random people who lost and who Tesoro owns - Zoro capture was neglected and we had Luffy show more emotions towards randos rather than his dear Zoro - definite miss by the writers there

so like you mentioned, as a fan myself obviously, he does seem genuine to me, like mostly, and you can tell that he is very sweet. he is so sweet with fans and is well liked by people that know him.

but sometimes, and i know it's for privacy and boundaries, considering that he's young and has a whole social media manager and like all these company decisions behind him, i don’t know, it throws me off a little. like i know that every f1 driver has their brands, sponsorships and franchises behind them, it just throws me off because ollie is younger than me, so it just feels so weird…

like i think that when young people grow up like them in the spotlight, their personalities are going to be a bit... fabricated in some way? because, and especially drivers growing up in an academy like them and esp probably a proper academy such as the fda, you're gonna grow up hearing that they need to act in a specific way to get fans and sponsors and jobs etc. so it's not weird that it feels a little fake! im sure they also themselves have issues with knowing exactly how they wanna act and what their true personalities are like (i too have these issues so it feels natural that celebs would) 🤷‍♀️

so this guy comes through w his mum, he's a dick to his mum throughout the transaction and then. And Then. his mum goes to tap her card for contactless but it doesnt beep. so she does it again and it doesnt beep. i know how this goes, so i say "sorry let me clear that and redo it". i press the clear button and right after he takes her card and swipes it and it beeps. but i had already cleared it so it didnt go through. and Oh Fuck. im like "sorry that didnt go through did you want to do it again" and he goes uhh yes it did??? and i printed out the current receipt with no card details and he was like "i heard it beep it said card read!!" and i was like well it's still on my till so it didnt go through. n hes going it did it said card read!!! like bro i pressed clear it didnt go through and he is adamant that it didnt and he gets more and more aggressive and then hes like "she wont give me my receipt" dude im not fucking trolling u i do not have a receipt to give u. n hes yelling and im getting angry at this point. hes going on abt how this happened before and it was £100 and it took so long to get it back and he doesnt want it to happen again. like sure but is it worth this. im shaking and my voice is shaking and he asks for the manager. and im like :))) Yes. Yes you can have the manager :))) so i ring my manager i speak to her n the person who deals w cash and they come down. im like trembling down the phone and freaking out. then i get off the phone and hes having a go at my colleagues for laughing when they were just doing their own shit (apparently he had a go at another customer for laughing? lol not everything is about you) anyway they take his card details, they ring their money people and he rings his bank. i take five bc im close to tears and panic attack and so i go. anyways he rang his bank they told him it hadnt gone through and i missed his face unfortunately but yes! fuck that guy.
