Okay, SO. this’ll have hc for these specific versons of fakeman, since i love most of the theories on what he is (raymesis, robot / ai, and clone)

Robot / ai fakeman: He has an E branded on him somewhere, I just know it. His limbs kinda work as how a magnet repels each other, just controlled enough to be believable.

Personally wise— he tries very hard to imitate Rayman the best he can, usually through old recordings of the late night eden show and old news interviews. When he’s on stage, he moves how the normal Rayman does— after all, he was programmed that way. But, when he’s offstage, its almost like he’s just. tossed aside. never to be needed until the next day. He doesn’t feel much about it, but something in him makes it feel… wrong.

ai / robot Fakeman also has moments where he does glitch out, considering he was probably made at a rushed moments notice. He was probably created around the time Rayman had gotten that call in his home when he was drunk. Even then, that call was probably used to get voice modules, as well as past calls that he’s probably taken. (assuming eden records phone calls too, which they probably do.)

I feel like Ai/Robotic Fakeman would be very curious about how real people (in a general sense, which includes hybrids and even ramon) live. How they act, why emotions drive them to do the things they do. It’s fascinating to him, and it even can cause him sometimes to wonder what it would be like to be… well, alive.

Clone Fakeman: honestly he acts more dead inside than ramon does. While robotic/ai has more curiosity, clone is just… a husk. only time he feels alive or wanting purpose is when he’s in the limelight. otherwise, he’s just the same husk he used to be.

His brain was probably wired to LOVE the feeling of being cheered, appreciated on stage, loved. And because of that, it makes him more attached, more likely to stick to eden’s side (cough cough “Without them, I’m nothing! THEY SAVED MY LIFE!” type shit)

Also, because he’s made with organic material he sometimes just. falls apart. like. like skin. just falls. and lums just fly out because Eden doesn’t know what they’re doing when it comes to making clones.

Raymesis Fakeman: I am so convinced this guy became the replacement JUST to fuck with rayman. I’m very positive. He was probably told to do it by Mr Dark, which if he’s still in this is probably in a high power (or yk maybe hes just fucking dead we don’t know atp).

I can imagine him having the FATTEST EGO known to man knowing that he’s taken Rayman’s job. If they ever had a confrontation I just know this mf would cackle his ass off laughing at what Ramon had become.

Though, he has his annoyances. For one, he hates having to wear makeup and contacts ALL THE GOD DAMN TIME. Like every fucking waking moment this poor thingamajig is sweaty and uncomfortable because of the PACKED ON MAKEUP to hide his skin. Also Eden forced him to dye his hair blond. Because obviously they did, they’re fucking annoying. Oh yeah, and he can’t swear. Which is funny because I just know Raymesis cusses in every single sentence he says.

Raymesis has literally lived in Rayman’s shadow for fuck knows how long. But I also feel like once he truly sees what Eden has done and is continuing to do, he’s gonna feel… a bit conflicted. perchance join his side.

Most comfort I have is the hostility from Milkvans to Bylers. Ron@nce vs St@ncy or J@ncy don't have that. St3ddie vs St@ncy don't have that. Elm@x vs Lum@x certainly don't have that (I love u elum@x). Not Milkvans with Elm@x! So they have it in them to be chill!

It comes from a place of feeling threatened. Because of the fact that Will is a competing love interest.

3. family over all. it's the child of immigrant parents from a collectivist culture in me... my filial piety outplays outwits and outlasts 90% of my other motivations including sometimes my own mental health

5. on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being abjectly unlucky and 10 being abjectly lucky, i am around a 6.5. i think i have experienced incredibly lucky things (passing exams on guessed answers, getting into schools off waitlists, receiving job offers because someone else declined, current health of me and my family, winning my gacha pulls LMAO) but i have also had some pretty unlucky personal circumstances that prevent me from giving myself higher than 7.

6. love triangles make me sad and a little frustrated (which can be narratively interesting and/or emotionally cathartic— all depends on the circumstance and how melodramatic i am feeling lol). i like when they're a precursor to a poly situation after a long bout of miscommunication, mutual pining, and not-actually-unrequited love LMAO

7. i think people have a very high inertia when it comes to change. people can change, of course, but they often won't unless they see the consequences of Not changing as dire or catastrophic. when it comes to friendships or interpersonal relationships, i don't expect the other person to change very much (and in fact i kinda tend towards cynicism— i think most people will actively resist change), and the person i befriend will be the same at their core for the forseeable future. it's a matter of whether or not they have significant motivation to change beyond superficial aspects.

i feel like i'm required to give you a much longer analysis based on the length of this reply but like HONESTLY this screams Alien/Otherworldly Love Interest to me but like in the way of like Alien Lum or like a CatGirl or like Robot Guy not cuz i think anything you're saying makes you strange, in fact I think it's very human and organic what you're saying, but because there's a very honest, and earnestness to your answers that's kind of beautiful and would stay persistent even in a fish out of water situation, yk?

I haven't had many runs in the game yet, rn I'm in the first year of my fourth, but here's the three runs I've done so far.

1st run:

Bestie: Cal

Romance: Tang

Ending: tangent's cure

Alignment: 80 Loyalty

Augment: Eagle Eyes

Like I already mentioned in a previous post tangent's cure traumatized me to the point were I haven't gotten over 30 hearts with my girl tang in any other play through. The whole ecocide that I help cause paired with the fact that Cal (who gets shot and killed in that ending) was my bestie and also all the regular first play through deaths (Tammy, Uncle Tonin, Kom, the old governor I forgot her name, both of Sol's parents, professor Hal) made me feel so horrible. Your home girl managed to eradicate a whole planet and half the cast in one play through ����🤞.

The one thing I absolutely loved about this ending was the angst. Romancing Tangent and seeing that vision/dream in one of the later years with the planet bare of life and her crying and apologizing was so confusing but hurtful. And then I actually got the ending and omg my hearttt. Poor Tang crying while that lunatic Lum pulled her up on stage and praised and congratulated her broke me. But the icing on the cake is what came after, Sol following Tang after she run of stage. Honestly I might go back to that save to try the other dialogue options but the whole scene of Sol finding out she helped cause this and then the truth about how Lum was forcing them do it and finally Sol forgiving Tang and telling her she still loves her. Ouch

2nd run

Bestie: Nem

Romance: Marz

Ending: Standard Ending as a Novelist

Alignment: 100 rebellion

Augment: Calm Temperament

My second play through was much more uneventful and light-hearted. I still managed to somehow forget to save uncle Tonin and I couldn't save my parents but the fact that Tammy was alive and that I focused on all the yellow stats set me up for a peaceful run. I worked in places I hadn't touched before and therefore I got a lot of fun and cute little work events. My absolute favourite thing about this run (beside the Marz romance ofc) was the whole secret club thing. It was soooo cute and such a sweet reminder that, hey these are still a bunch of little kids. Also the art piece of them solving that mystery is so close to my heart simply because of how adorable Tang looks in it.

I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't stay with Marz in the end but it makes for a realistic story that's for sure (also Marz getting with Tang for a short while after the break up made me giggle, my ship has sailed) I also didn't mange to work at the bar enough so the twins didn't get their moment.

3rd run:

Bestie: Dys

Romance: Nem

Ending: Disabling the Array

Alignment: 80 rebellion

Augment: Super Strength

My latest play through was interesting to say the least. I managed to save my mom finally although I didn't have high enough empathy at the time my dad died (stupid shimmer I have no idea how to cure it yet) and our relationship went to shit. I really wanted to focus on explorations and meeting Sym and I achieved that. I actually thought that disabling the array was a great compromise and I would consider it the best ending if it didn't force me to become besties with Vace in the epilogue, minus points for nemmie breaking up with me as well. I don't like Sym but I still felt kinda bad for taking away his immortality but at the end of the day between submission to the stupid gardeners and constant glow attacks I'll take this ending without a doubt.

Yet another ending were I couldn't keep Dys at the colony because he, yet again, disappeared and was never seen again. I was pretty certain that he wouldn't like this path given how much he sympathises with the gardeners for reasons I still can't understand but it still sucked to see him go since him and Sol spent so much time as expedition buddies. I honestly wish the creators didn't push this ending as the "asshole military dude who wants to kill all the poor animals". Like no I just want to leave peacefully while admiring and coexisting with the planet's native flora and fauna without having the ai soldiers over my head trying to kill me very year.

First Urusei Yatsura: It's canon that Ataru isnt "normal". It's stated by every character in the series.

Lum, is the most obvious, since she's an Alien.

With Ranma: he turns into a girl. Very "not normal"

(I feel like Akane's prob the most normal character Rumiko has ever written, lol)

With Inuyasha: He's half demon. Not normal.

Kagome: got spiritual powers and isnt afraid of danger at all (which isnt very normal xD)

Look at how the characters introduction: Lum first doing announcement, she is very excited

Shinobu and Mendou start with introducing themselve first same with Ten and Ryunosuke. They all mostly indifferent and just go with it and overall have fun

And then there's Ataru, his first daily voice is him complaining. No introduction or greeting he just angry LMAO

He slowly just go with it and there's time when he sound happy (tho his recent voice about the exam week, he somehow getting angrier LMAO U okay buddy?)

Ahh omg, thank you for asking and offering me a distraction right now! I have a couple of face claims for a few characters and then others not quite as much, but I certainly enjoyed seeing what you envisioned! Honestly I don't know how much I described everyone long ago, I try to keep Reader's family vague though so people can imagine what they want for this series.

For Katy, I for some reason have always pictured Nora Lum (Awkwafina I think she goes by?) but with shoulder length hair. Even the voice. It's like exact in my head for some reason when I write her. Oddly enough, I think her character in Marvel's Shang-Chi was also named Katy... Interesting you imagine Katy Perry, I could see that, too! Love that you imagine dark hair because I definitely do too!

For Hudson, honestly that's pretty close to what I imagine him looking like in my head! I would say that's probably who I would pick as a face claim. I have kept him physically vague because he's a family member of Reader's, but as I write him I picture him similar to that!

Omg for Figureroa that is so funny you picture Danny DeVito!! I picture someone like Robert De Niro for some reason, but not quite as old as he currently is now. Someone who looks like a stern CEO type that would certainly hire hitmen to kill you...

Very interesting choice for Backman! For some reason I always pictured Ramón Rodríguez who plays Bakuto in Iron Fist and Defenders (one of the Hand members). I just pictured him as a well dressed middle aged man who doesn't seem like someone who would kill you, but he definitely would kill you. Slowly.

For Jessica Manning (who is reappearing again quite soon), I envision something like Megan Fox. Dark hair and bright blue eyes. Someone who can look sweet but could also be a total dick (nothing against the actress, but she could totally pull off a bitch role, you know?). That's probably the closest I can think of to her off the top of my head.
