I really wish we saw Kiburi and Reirei in the finale alongside the Outlanders that were helping Kion and the Lion Guard return home and fight the Outsiders. Like, I get why they were handwoven snapshot redemptions in the premiere episode, to make way for the new story arc that featured Makucha as the Big Bad, but Janja, Jasiri, and even Mzingo (who was largely put on a bus in S2) came back for the finale. It would've been cool seeing the Outlander crocs and jackals helping Kion too, to both show how they've reformed, and to see the positive effects of Jasiri's leadership to really cap off her character arc. Plus it would've mirrored Kiara's advocacy for the Outsiders in the movie, which is a plot point that influences the second half of the episode with Vitani's Guard. Both siblings team up with enemies from beyond their borders to save the Pride Lands and ensure peace.

On a lesser note, I also wish Kenge, Sumu, and the skinks appeared in that scene as well, or maybe in the group shot cameo in the finale. I know that the general consensus among fans and even some writers is that they left Scar's army/the Outlands, but I find no reason why they couldn't appear during the group shot yet the Dan and Phil gorillas do. 😭😭

I TOTALLY agree, that would have been great! I would have loved seeing Reirei and Kiburi having Janja’s back to show everyone how their alliance has changed!

As for the second paragraph: I see your vision, although the journey to the tree of life wouldn’t exactly be reptile-friendly cuz of the cold climate where the red pandas are yk what I mean? Though it’d be cute if Kion asked how the Outlands are doing and Jasiri brings up how everyone is now respecting the circle of life “even the lizards!” (by which she means Kenge and the skinks; Sumu would prolly be included when Jasiri says “everyone”)

I like to hc everyone Kion knows was invited to his coronation, they were just out of shot. But tbh I doubt Kion would wanna invite a lizard that bites everyone and the scorpion that tried to kill his dad, so maybe it’s best that they weren’t there 😭
