This was truly My Bakudeku Academia. Watching that final battle felt like a religious experience- as if I was watching the birth of Christ. Holy fuck if that really was the original ending, with Deku passing OFA to Kacchan, and the whole "Oh it actually stayed with Deku and Bkg got amnesia" didn't happen, this would have been a dramatically different story moving forward.

The story following this kind of ending would be about him continuing OFA's legacy with the guilt of a thousand suns on his shoulders for "taking away" Izuku's dream. Izuku would have continued the hero course as an actual quirkless student. I would love to see aus of this being canon and continuing their story from there.

I'm guessing Nine here was supposed to be AFO, and he would basically be gone too. Katsuma is perfectly set up to be the next protagonist (I can already imagine him using Cell Regeneration as Super Regeneration- he could become invincible while also healing others. Incredibly amazing quirk).

Aizawa kinda becomes like the Midoriya adults’ younger brother while he's like an uncle to the youngest

Twice-Centric fic. Twice is Mic's CI (and friend) who infiltrates the LOV for him

Technomancer. Mido has a technopathy and mental continuation quirk (again Superpower wiki). Mido commits sewerslide and gets this quirk (they are mixed into one). He is a tech/electro ghost, he's kinda like an AI. Now he helps different heroes especially his favorites like Eraserhead and Present Mic. But also his favorite vigilante Kaminari?? Tokoyami?? Tokage?? Roki??? His hero and vigilante name is Technomancer. Takes over the HPSC?? Nezu is intrigued by him immediately ofc. Our beloved Power Loader loves him. Absolutely loves him they work on support gear projects together. Hatsume and Power Loader can make him a robot body to possess basically!!!

Oh, How The Tables Have Turned (and how you have turned on each other): This AU(?) is lots of world building fun. This trend kept on happening. Were twice and toga take turns poking compress in the side, swiping a finger across his foot, or a light scratch on the back of his neck. All until “guhuys knock it ohoff this is chehEating” He giggled.

“What are you talking about and why are you so giggly” toga smirked full aware of the situation. “I wonder what’s so funny, He’s giggling his life away” Twice added on.

Both Twice and Toga looked at eachother as they clawed Compress sides. Compress immediately clamped his arms down to his side trying to escape the tickly grip “guhuhuys nohohot funnehehehe”. “Nobody’s laughing but you press— Duhhhh” Twice teased.

“Stop what” toga asked.

“Tihihickling mhehehehe”Compress answered not realizing that he just fell into a trap by saying that. Twice then pins his arms above his head “You got it dude!! tickles coming your way”Twice teased as he used one hand to hold his wrists in place, while he raked his fingers down his armpits.

“Nononohoho thahahat’s not whahahat I meAAAHAHANT AHAHA” Press shrieked as he squirmed around trying to escape.

“Stop squirming Press im trying to make sure you have all of you’re ribs” Toga rolled her eyes. “Now I have to start over 1….2….3…” each rib she counted, she used her nail to lightly scratch between it.

“I mean I hope it does after all you did ask for tickles” she reminded. “Press you made me lose track again hmmmm let’s see how many did I count” she acted clueless as she rapidly pinched his sides and hips.

“Oh it is what about here?” Twice smirked, as he was near his feet. Compress hadn’t noticed that twice had use his quirk one was keeping him pin down while he was near his feet.

“Waitwaitwahahahait twice twice buddy cohome on let’s tahahalk about thihis” press lifted up his head as much as he could so he could look at twice and try to reason with him.

I was just ready to come back and relax but after that torture you two goofs out me through I feel a lot better” he smiled.

“I’m glad you told us, also we don’t ever want to cross and boundaries we just really care about you and don’t like seeing you so sad and gloomy” Toga spoke her mind and twice of course.

“If anything ever makes you sad again promise to tell us” Twice looked at him in his eyes. “Ihi promise” press couldn’t help but giggle. “You guys are so sappy” Dabi rolled his eyes as he sat on the couch.

“Looks like some one else need to be tickle tooooo” twice sang as he wiggled his fingers at Dabi. “I swear on Endeavor if you tickle me you’ll have a 6th degree burn” Dabi playfully threatened. “6th degree? That’s not even a thing!!” Toga looked at him lost.

I’ve been trying to think of why Avatar: The Last Airbender has been so popular for decades and I think I got it.

After watching the concert, which was AMAZING!! ;DDDD!! ❤️❤️❤️, I’ve literally been rewatching the series because I literally couldn’t watch anything else after the concert LOOL!! 🤣🤣 and I think I got it.

One of the reasons is because of the world building. You get to LIVE in its world, you get to breathe in it. You get to see its inhabitants, the daily lives of its people. Commoners, villagers, all everyday people. You get to see our heroes interact with them, be who they are as people.

The fact that the Gaang travel SOO much is also why we get to see soo much of this beautiful world. The characters get to travel SOO much. They see SOO many characters and people and different lifestyles. You get to see how many people live and breathe and that’s beautiful. You get to see SOOO many different places.

And also, you get to SEE these characters just be on their own, as people. In the beginning of the episodes, when the Gaang is just lazing around or having fun, they’re being people. They’re being people without the pressure of the plot. They’re being happy, sad, laughing, joking as people. When Aang plays in the water or when Sokka gets hit by something LOOL, it’s hella funny and it’s life. It’s natural, it’s exactly how we’d behave.

And also, the reason why the series is so lighthearted and happy is Aang. Aang is a happy-go-lucky, sweet, goofy kid who just wants to have fun a lot of the time lol. A huge character point of him is that he just wants to have fun all the time! He wants to ride elephant koi and go on the unagi and go slide down the Omashu delivery carts lol. But he plays SOO much. Even when they’re just resting or bending around, he’s playing. He’s making octopus monsters in the water and playing with Momo, and dancing. He’s just a goofball. And it’s so sweet because it reminds us that he’s just a kid. But I think it’s also cool because it reminds us of a simpler, happier time before the world was at war.

Without Aang, we wouldn’t have this fun, happy veneer. We wouldn’t have the shield that protects us from the world of the war. Without him, we’d have to face the consequences of the war in a much darker world. I think without him, the series would be a lot darker and it’d be harder to watch. I mean, when I was a kid, I forgot there was a war going on, I think because Aang was so happy all the time and the environment is so light and hopeful. If you take him away, you have to grapple even more with the very real consequences of the war.

And because the environment is safe-because Aang provides us a safe, warm environment to be light and happy in, and we get to travel to SOO many places, it really builds out the world building SOO well. We get to imagine ourselves in these places, get to wonder what it’s like to go to Kyoshi Island or the Misty Palms Oasis or Ember Island. We get to BE safe as we travel in these places.

And I think the plot lends itself to this environment too!! The entire plot is Aang fighting Fire Lord Ozai and learning the 4 elements. We know that from the very beginning. And so, we have room to breathe and have some fun adventures WHILE we get to that point. The audience all knows what’s coming, it’s in the back of our heads. So we have time for adventures. We have time for all those adventures and shenanigans. The important thing is, we KNOW it’s gonna be a journey, so we’re led on that as characters grow and develop.

We get to see them as characters separate from the story, as they struggle with their own ins-and-outs and their own needs and desires. We get to see them as living, breathing people, their arcs as they grow and develop. It’s because the story gives them breathing room to develop that they can develop AWAY from the story. Like in “The Runaway”, we get to see an insight into Katara’s motherly nature and how Toph really misses her parents. And that’s why we love and care about the story so much- because the CHARACTERS are so amazing and we care about the CHARACTERS.

A lot of other shows, we have to try to figure out the plot and what’s gonna happen and how they’re going to do it. So, plot is really necessary and you have to move it along. But in Avatar, you get room to breathe.

And the side characters! That’s also why the show is so beloved. Because the side characters are SOO funny. I keep seeing interviews of the Cabbage Guy and him being on panels and I keep thinking “that’s so cool and crazy.” Can u imagine, this one guy who has two lines of “MY CABBAGES!!” being THIS famous in the show? It’s INSANE!! LOOL!! But Avatar makes it work bc he’s fucking hilarious. Same with the Foaming Mouth Guy. Doesn’t even say a word but he’s HELLA FUNNY LOOL. And Chong! He plays “Secret Tunnel”- a song where the chorus is like 2 words, but ITS HELLLA FUNNY LOOL. The side characters are just so iconic.

When I think of Avatar, I feel so safe, warm, and happy. It’s because of Aang and the little spot of sunshine he provides, and the beautiful world we get to interact with. The Gaang is a little bubble of warmth that we get to live in amidst a much darker world, and it’s really beautiful we get to see that. :’)

you slapped his arm as he laughed, looking over at the child you were told to babysit for the day. megumi fushiguro.

sadly, he was hit with a body-reduced curse during a mission and has become a child. he's still mentally the same stoic and proud fushiguro, just in a small package. and yuuji's been teasing him about it ever since you and him had come back to Jujutsu Tech with Megumi in your arms.

"you two know you don't need to babysit me, right?" megumi scoffed, looking up at his two classmates with annoyance. "i'm fifteen, just in a child's body."

"oh c'mon, fushiguro!" yuuji pouted, making you giggle. "y/n and i were kind enough to spare our time to keep you safe and fed!"

"yuuji, shut up." you sighed, standing from your spot on the sofa and heading to the kitchen to grab some snacks. the distant chatter of the two boys bickering making you smile.

sure, you didn't expect to be spending time with your boyfriend taking care of a child megumi, but it was fun. just a few minutes ago, yuuji managed to make megumi smile with a cheesy joke, although the smile didn't last long. grabbing some water bottles and some popcorn, you headed back into the living area of your sensei's home and sat back on the sofa next to yuuji.

pushing the bowl of buttery kernels into his lap, yuuji's eyes trained back on the movie you had put in. yuuji's arm automatically pulling you into his warm side, placing his hand on your hip and rubbing small circles over your clothes affectionately.

"shush," megumi's voice was quiet and mumbly as he rubbed his beautiful green eyes, lashes damp with sleepy tears. "i told you i'm not a child.. i'm just little right now."

with a smile, you picked up megumi with little fight and walked towards the bedroom, laying him down on freshly washed bed sheets, blankets and pillows. the warmth of the bed made megumi fall asleep almost immediately as his sore little body started to grow once again. the growing pains of a little boy becoming a young adult again corsing throughout megumi's limbs, chest, and head.

"i'll bring you something for the pains, alright?" you whispered, yuuji's honey eyes looking over your shoulder down at megumi.

he gave a small nod, closing his eyes and letting sleep overtake him as he fell into a dream. not one of darkness or nightmares like normal, but he had a restful sleep, leaving you and yuuji itadori alone in gojo-sensei's home.

"should we get going?" you asked in a hushed tone as you snuck over to the bedroom's exit.

"nah, i'm making sure i'm getting paid," yuuji jokes, nodding to your question and closing the bedroom door once you exited quietly. "we can call him later about how megumi was. thankfully, i didn't get attacked by his shikigami over all the teasing!"

"quiet down, ok?" you waved your hand before playfully slapping yuuji's shoulder, heading towards the home's exit in the living room. "i don't want to wake up fushiguro either."

"alright alright," yuuji sighed, grabbing his box of snacks and any trash before heading out the door with you trailing behind him.

at around 2 in the morning, your phone buzzed with a notification from your sensei about megumi.

but as it turned out, there was more than one simple text. it was a prolonged paragraph about how you shouldn't leave children alone even when they're asleep.

Gojo-sensei: as your sensei it's my duty to make sure all punishments are dealt, even though i find them pointless! so, as punishment, you're not getting paid. neither is yuji-kun!!

rolling your eyes, you put your phone down and rested your head back onto your pillow, turning onto your side and snuggling into the warmth of yuuji's chest. he stirred in his sleep for a moment too as he got adjusted to your intrusion, his voice croaky and strained when he spoke.

"is he mad?"

"yes," you answered, growing weary and tired once again. "also, we're not getting paid."

you heard a chuckle, smiling to yourself at yuuji's cheerfulness even when it was so late. "that's fine, he's gonna pay with food next time."

No one asked but here’s my ranking of smfs ( I feel like this came across negative idk WHY it’s prob my favorite album tied with infinity )

1. What a Time to be Alive ( she uses millennial words so minus points but she makes me SO happy so she’s number one

2. I am My Own Muse ( love the like jack skellington impersonation and the general Danny elfman influence )

3. Love from the Other Side ( “ I’ll never go I just want to be invited “ how that’s sung makes me LOOSE it it’s sounds so beautiful plus it reminds me of the beginning of this era and getting back into fandom. But also same day joe announced he was taking a mental health break :,[ )

4. So much ( for ) Stardust ( this song is literally SOOO GOOD but also makes me sad cus to me the songs like,,, So much ( for ) Stardom. Like they’d been craving fame like every band but when they got it they were in peak paparazzi stalker era and were like man this is kinda,,,, Bad )

5. Hold me like a Grudge ( ok don’t be mad at me but for whatever reason I had a gut feeling this album was gonna sound generic af but then this song started playing and I was like “ WAIT WAIT HOLD ON WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAAAAAIIT” Luv the guitar/base idk I don’t know music )

6. Flu game ( the guitar bits right near the end that kinda sound like rat squeals? Delicious absolutely scrumptious and the abrupt transition at the end it utterly toe curlin! )

7. Fake Out ( she kinda sounds very girly pop music but like that’s not a bad thing I lov her she is so slay )

8. So good right now ( love her sarcastic aura, but I find what I really love about the song is the bridge it’s so yummy and makes me happy )

9. Heartbreak feels so good ( to me she sounds like generic commercial music but my foot, she can’t stop tappin along! )

10. Heaven Iowa ( she feels kinda drawn out and long and it reminds me of a specific genre of 80s song that I don’t really dig idk I don’t hate hee don’t love her I just think it’s Ok )

11. The Kintsugi Kid ( I’m so sorry I’m a kintsugi kid anti/hj she’s just Okay to me )
