So, interestingly enough, I am en electrician, and the ways that electromagnetism and electricity work together is so closely intertwined that writers really should take advantage of how much of a GOD Magneto is. Like he says it somewhere, but he controls a very fundamental force of nature, and in theory, the list of shit he can't do is shorter than what he can with his powers. It's always just a mashup of whether or not the writer is going to take advantage of that, or if they have to nerf him for plot reasons. Like, for instance, he should team up with Storm way more often, because together they'd be overwhelmingly unstoppable.

i think my favorite interpretation of the extent of erik's powers really is if he just decides/knows to lock in cause Theoretically Potentially Maybe Im Not A Scientist Dont Quote Me every atom has the potential to be magnetized. like my brother and i love talking about this cause you just know in the sixties they really werent thinking that much with magneto's powers and then Unfortunately As Humans we learned more and its like 'oh ok so he's an immense threat for a reason beyond what we figured Thats Nice'

i think if our knights were to meet... oh man... i think mine would be bitter honestly. it would be so hard to accept that in some other world, in some other universe - the prince saved them. and everything worked out. they're happy. they're devoted. they love each other.

this prince? the irritating one? who acts like a puppy ready to play? no way. is it worth it being coddled by the prince? is it worth it always having a royalty looking after you? wouldn't you wanna do things on your own sometimes?

but then they'd see how your prince and your knight look at each other and their heart just sinks.... they could've had that (they will.)

and oh my god, your knight with mine though... i can kind of see them as being a little awe-struck but a little terrified at the same time?? does that make sense? like they see what a beast of a person they've become. so strong. so independent. but then the sadness kicks in.... so lonely. and alone. is is worth it being so independent that you're stuck being cold? is it? isn't it better to accept the prince's offered hand?

i lowkey hate that mouthwashing has got the attention it has because now right wing grifters are getting ahold of it and defending gross people who entirely misinterpret the game without knowing the source material. the whole game has been fandomized and joked upon. i rarely see a serious discussion on it and people ARENT getting into it because of the actual game's content, but because of how watered down the current artworks makes it seem. like no. if you play the game youre gonna get hit with a story of a man who raped a girl and because he couldnt kill her he was going to kill EVERYONE, and failed, and so everyone but the captain dies in other ways because he, (the captain), failed to prevent the rapist being wreckless and having him put in charge. there is your basic uncensored summary. dont get into it because of the influx of drawings of daisuke in a thong, or the "woke crowd" reasonably getting upset seeing anya so explicitly sexualized in a game where her being sexualized is a major plot point and NOT in a good way. dont get into it because curly or jimmy or any of them are attractive. please only try out the game if you want immersive, beautiful storytelling about a heartbreaking and gruesome situation.
