hiya! friendly grammar anon here to shwo my appreciation for the new comic the only way i know how, by doing my best to help with it :]

on the third page, where Leo says "Well, then you better be planning some time travel machine" its technically correct, but its much more clear if you change it to "some sort of time travel machine" or if you want a shorter more direct version where leos suggestion feels less like a joke, "planning to build a time travel machine" would also work.

also on the third page, where Donnie says "Only if you don't mind taking apart Raph for some parts" its also technically correct, its just that the way you worded it more implies raph is a thing not a person? like, youd take apart your tv, but you'd take your friend out for lunch. "if you don't mind taking Raph apart for some parts" fits better in this case, unless you did intend for Donnie to refer to Raph in that specific way for ~Plot Reasons~ yknow.

last thing, kind of a nitpick, and im not sure exactly what grammar rule makes it look funny, but the last sentence in the latest update ("This will give you access to a spare battery of your arm") isnt quite right. my best guess is it has something to do with the words "a" and "of". id reccomend "a spare battery in your arm" (if theres more than one) or "the spare battery in your arm", since "of" kinda implies the battery is a part of his arm rather than being a piece inside it? its hard to explain properly, but it just reads better if you tweak it slightly.

overall, fantastic work!! for such a dialogue-heavy installment i only have a few small things to note :] ive been following the series since the robo-raph episode, and i can genuinely say ive seen a lot of improvement in your comics and writing, even though in my opinion they started out pretty fantastic in the first place. thank you for reading through this rambly, tangent-ridden ask, and for sharing such an awesome story with this silly little hellsite.

i feel like when youre obsessed with a character for like over 6 months or a year you start to feel "emotions 3" about them like its beyond anything ever. like miyuki in particular makes me so crazy because of the way his personality is slowly unveiled. especially in the beginning, the story is very sawamura-centric, which also shows like how self absorbed sawamura was in his first year etc etc thats not important here tho. the point is that the story isn't focused on miyuki, we see him just from the outside at first as this guy who enjoys pissing people off, who has a lot of respect for those older than him, who loves baseball, who only bats in clutch situations... And like his character development as he grows into his role as captain shows just how much he was lacking before AND just how far he went in his respect for the coaches and the third years to sometimes his own detriment. like when ochiai was teaching sawamura the changeup he was thinking about quitting before it potentially broke sawamuras form and ochiai told him to continue and he just Agreed. even though ochiai KNEW it had a higher chance of breaking sawamuras form. tetsu's advice to miyuki as captain and miyuki's reverence for kataoka's strictness led to the nabe situation... he had such a hard set in stone definition of what a captain should be because of those influences. the nabe situation AND the post-yakushi match "i cant be a captain" thing exposes like how he really is just trying his best to fit these roles and how hes beginning to understand what hes lacking and work on it like in act 2 talking about maezono's compassion "that's what im missing." like AUGHHGHGHHHH like its not LIKE he doesnt have that at all he just struggles to express it like in season one episode 71 in that conversation with kuramochi where he says two different things like how conflicted he feels by how he thinks he SHOULD feel as a captain and how he DOES feel as both a catcher and sawamuras teammate... LIKE these parts of his personality are so important to me and then you just add how fucking AWESOME THAT GUY IS on top of that and then finally garnish it with terajima's comments about him on twitter like "miyuki talks a lot when he's happy" like its so CUTE!!! like all these miyuki moments just sit in my brain and have boiled for so long its like a syrup. like he's annoying he's awesome he's cute he's stupid he's admirable i hate him he sucks he's the only character that matters he's lame. LIKE i just. AUGH!!!!!!! Imagine- youre a celebrity who makes music- you and harry both have albums albumS more than one- about wach other, yall have been dating for well over a year now and you (as a woman) want to propose cuz you really really just want to marry harry. You decide to film the entire thing/process like a vlogger for the media so you do- you shwo the process of stealing one of harrys rings that he wears on his ring finger one morning before he wakes up. You show the camera harry sleeping spoonibg the pillow you put there while slipping away from him and you show the camera the ring you took. You tell the camera that harry is gonna automatically notice that its gone so your gonna go get it sized then when hes in the abthroom or something place it underneath the bed and look for it later and gove it to him. You show the camera thr processing of sizing that ring and buying an male engagement ring too. Which the buying part took a good 3 days. You show the ring in its boxed to the camera a few days before your anniversary (the day you were gonna propose) harry notices how happy you are and whatnot and asks why youre so giggly durning the night before. You say no reason- the next day- your anniversary you set up cameras all around the house so you can show the media how everything went down. You woke harry up with breakfast in bed, gave him a kiss, had some morning sex (which was not filmed lol) took a shower with him- told him you loved him- you could tell he was starting to feel a lot more on tge sub side with all the affection you were giving him witch ment that you filmed a lot of cute moments from the 2 of you. Later that night when harry was watching a movie you got up said you were going to the bathroom. You decided to record on your phone the auido for a teaser for the fans. When you went back to him you said

“Harry baby?”

so first session; i went through the pyre(something i forgot the full name sob) forest/sprout mole village/sweetheart’s castle in one go and let me TELL YOU. DOING THAT WAS FUCKING INSANE I WENT NUTS holy shit.

so anyway.

pyre forest!!!! the lil race against the big spider coming after u for disturbing the smaller spiders mechanic was very fun i had a lot of fun figuring out the best routes to take. i know normally mechanics like that lead to ppl getting frustrated cause u have to keep retrying but i had a lot of fun!!!! sum annoyance but good natured type, th kind that just makes u try harder u know? i just enjoyed it JKFN;FN; candles in the foggy forest....now That is an aesthetic

the rare bear scared the fuckin shit out of me i remember it didn’t attack me straight away so i was like “aw (:” but then when i press x on him it takes me to a BATTLE SCREEN AND SUDDEN THAT MF IS TERRIFYING I WAS LIKE WHWHWHWHWKJDNJ. very funny i honestly wished i recorded my reaction

also omori is afraid of drowning...................................i am breathing heavily. i think whatever happened to mari is related to at least one of the things omori is scared of. so either heights, spiders, or drowning it seems. spiders doesnt seem super likely as a contributor to her death, and while falling from a height is more realistic, such a senseless way of dying doesnt seem to rlly fit ? with the vibe i get from the kiddos in the real world. which makes me think maybe drowning/otherwise suffocating is how she died...but we’ll see. also due to the forgotten library part, we know omori explicitly feared spiders/drowning before mari died so it’s also probable im jus talking out my ass here but still,,,,thoughts

Im telling you as iconic and hillarious as riverdale is it really fucking kicked reboot culture into high gear. I feel like it really popularized the idea of like… “a reboot doesnt have to be accurate at all to the sourcw material” which is objectively not true? Idk RAS is in a strange position where he not only is an archie author but alsoa. Huge archie fan but still made the show like that. I think that people dont really usually know this or fully undersrand that or get how mant ridiculously obscurw refwrences are in that show. Not to say its a “good” show i dont actively watch it and i think it has its fair share of problems considering fuckign RAS wrote it, if youve read afterlife with archie then you know this guy os just WEIRD. I think that people took ita popularity and were like okay now were gonna make edgy reboots of everything and have them not relate back to the source material bc riverdale was so popular. Which is silly because like its not like Mindy Kaling is some like devout scooby doo fan. Why scooby doo? The answer for “why archie” for riverdale at least can be explained by Well its made by a guy whos been writing archie media for decades even before he worked for them (see archies weird fantasy), he writes archie horror for the company, and the juxtaposition of fucking Normal ass archie comics with the most insane ahit ever IS pretty funny. Thats why its so quotable. But like its not like the average person knows any if this shit they jist know Hey that riverdale show used the archie chaeacrers for unrelated shit we should do that with other shows!!
