FRIEND?????#slams desk#i can actually write a whole post about this sometime just bc like it's almost odd to me how visceral and almost tenth-dr-y#younger 8 can be with daleks a la Terror Firma or Blood of the Daleks#when he hasn't even gone thru all his later losses#meanwhile post-To the Death post-Dark Eyes 8 is just like...SO CHILL in the time war by comparison imo#honestly he has to be bc otherwise he'd just go insane i think (i mean that's kinda what happened in dark eyes)#honestly one of the greatest character developments#sorry i know this wasn't rlly about dal it was more about 8 but oh well#OP you seriously don't know how randomly happy i was someone else liked that in echoes of war#to be honest overall the time war series isn't my absolute fave esp with its companion character development imo#but i absolutely ADORED time war 1 and 2#i love it so much thank u for reminding me#FRIENDLY REMINDER THAT IN THIS HOUSE WE LOVE AND RESPECT OLDER 8#yes we love edas 8 and charley-era 8 but GIVE OLDER 8 AND HIS COMPANIONS SOME RESPECT AND LOVE EVERYONE PLZ#doctor who#eighth doctor#echoes of war#dal#time war 1#big finish audios
