the jewel uma is holding in the teaser is the orb mal saw in the forest with her dad’s voice lol. AND on the cover for the next book......so....im guessing mal’s dad is not? hades? bc it looks like theres a mission/battle to get the orb/jewel and that would remove like a lot of screen time for hades.
