You start going to AA or something at your local church. You're not really religious, but you know something needs to change. You meet the priest, Yuuji Itadori in passing the first night. Strangely attractive for a man of God. He's overly friendly and remembers every detail about you, even ones you wish you could forget. Maybe he'd be good for you. He's not dangerous like the usual type of guy you go for.

So you let things continue. You spend time with him outside of church. He makes you laugh. It's not quite romance though. He's a little too sweet. Too loveable. Too perfect for a broken person like you.

Still, you knew this was good for you. If nothing else, he kept you from indulging in your hedonism. Late one Friday night, you bring him home with you. He's acting a little different, his temper seems thinner. You figured he must be tired, the two of you didn't usually go out this late.

"Hey," he tugs you into his lap, hiding his face in the crook of your neck. "Would you still like me if I was something... Else?" It was a little odd for him to be physically intimate like this. Still, it wasn't unwelcome.

"Yuuji?" You ran your fingers up his back, feeling the soft ridges of the muscle under his clothes. "What do you mean?"

Without warning, he hungrily kissed your neck, a wide hand at the base of your skull to hold you steady. It was unexpected. The way he desperately groped you, bit you, leaving marks on your skin in a way you'd never dreamed he would. And god, it was hot. It wasn't long before he had you pinned beneath him and you got a good look at his face.

His face, suddenly decorated with tribal tattoos. You thought you saw an extra set of eyes, and watching them blink confirmed they were real. He grinned, showing off sharp fangs you'd never seen in Yuuji's mouth.

This was definitely something else.

He pushed his hair back and licked his lips with a serpentine tongue. A dangerous glint in his eye sparked the thing that was always missing between you and Yuuji. The danger.

"Glad you're not one of those god-fearing bitches." His voice was different, too. It was a lot deeper. "Yuuji has shit taste in women. Finally went home with someone interesting." He chuckled.

"Who... What are you?" You shrink back as best you can with him between your legs.

"Ryomen Sukuna. Demon." He brushed his lips against yours, grabbing your wrists to hold them above your head. "You looked like you were about to die of boredom, so I thought I'd rescue ya."

Maybe a little late, but I saw your post about sukufushi and yeah I wholeheartedly agree. I've noticed people tend to exaggerate with the ship to the point that they talk shit about Yuji. They say stuff like Sukuna is iN lOvE with Megumi lmao. I mean, they forget Yuji was literally made to be his vessel *and* prison. Yuji puts up a fight, Yuji never breaks. This drives Sukuna mad, made him question his own philosophy. Megumi, after a while, gave up. It's also obvious that he conveniently wanted Megumi's CT (very useful against Gojo)

I also find it interesting how the age gap is justified because WELL at least he likes Megumi!! Bruh Sukuna only likes himself, power and fighting. And even I question all that... Sorry for the little rant, but I came across someone's tumblr giving the most boring, overrated "explanation" about skfs being this and that and subtly shading Yuji (like they usually do). Completely ignoring his words to Sukuna in the last chapter lmao, I wonder why.

To be honest, in season 1 and 2, I don't think there's a way to say that sukuita is better than skfs when the ship was made for silly reasons. Sukuna's interest to Megumi is very obvious as well as his dislike to Yuuji. But I just don't like skfs dynamic, also bc I don't like Megumi that much. The reason I ship sukuita was bc of their first interaction. I thought it was an interesting way of starting their relationship. I've been thinking what-ifs like "what if at some point, Sukuna starts to like Yuuji?" The "will they won't they" type of thing. Also bc I'm into twincest/selfcest hahahaha. And I just don't see the reason of seeing sukuita as different from skfs when they're like almost the same thing. And another reason I ship sukuita is that Yuuji was willing to talk to the king of curses, out of all people, it was him who is brave enough to do so. I was thinking of possibilities that Yuuji could convince Sukuna about something good or good morality. Also, they spent most of the time together so I could imagine some scenarios. And ch. 265 gave us the answers, they were having a date together 🥺. Like, that is literally the cutest thing I've ever seen. Yuuji is a very forgiving person and he was willing to give that to Sukuna. This is why I ship them, they have more development together. And if Gege went with the route of them being actual twins, they would be closer beyond their souls.

I'm torn between Tokyo Revengers and My Hero Academia. The first one was a bit disappointing because it was way too happy enging. As much as it sounds, someone could have stayed dead or on bad terms with other characters. And with My Hero Academia, I didn't feel satisfied at all with the career Midoryia chose. I've read too many Vigilante Deku fanfics to believe he didn't try to work as a hero.

Edit: Shit, these were mangas, not anime xD My mistake So Banana Fish. Because OH COME ONNNN. It could have ended differently, happier.

If I had not dig into JJK, I wouldn't have hate Geto in character too much. The ridiculous state is that ships which Gege actually care about (GoGeGo, SukuFushi) pissed me off questionably, while ship like ItaFushi has more intimacy. All fault is about Gege's storytelling - bias scumbags (especially Toji, Sukuna; he let Geto the genocide met up with teacher and friends at the airport and no one question about why a person like him could be there). Not the first time the way I see things is that Sukuna is Gege self-insert to deride Yuuji and Gojo as pathetic and stupid. Gege doesn't believe in truly being good person. Gojo character appeared as a high self-esteem kind of person but Gege force him to be the low one when he died, so as GoGeGo shippers do. Oh, they did do it a long way before Gojo was released from Gokumonkyō. 3G shippers prefer a miserable Gojo about emotions for Geto and the gone youth. Gege doesn't care about Gojo's development through merely a decade so let him ended up being a selfish and childish teenager who enthusiatically complimented about the loneliness and excessive power of Sukuna.

I wrote a little sukufushi drabble because Stupid by Brendan Maclean inspired an urge for pining Sukuna.

Megumi is a serial monogamist. And Sukuna fucking hates it.

For 5 years he’s been pining for his little brother’s best friend. They met when Yuuji started dating Megumi freshman year. Sure, Sukuna thought he was cute—he was only 3 years older so it wasn’t weird—but he wasn’t enough of a dick that he would sabotage Yuuji’s relationship.

He resisted even considering the possibility of a relationship, just for his own sake.

They broke up in their senior year. But, it was too soon for him to move in on Yuuji’s ex-boyfriend that he had been harbouring an infatuation for. Megumi was still 17 too, so Sukuna would wait.

But then there was Noritoshi. Then Yuuta. Then Toge.

For every breakup, Sukuna is there to bear witness. Megumi and Yuuji remain best friends, meaning Sukuna knows all the painful details of Megumi’s tragic love life—all while aching to claim the beautiful boy as his own.

And maybe it is Sukuna’s own fault that he ends up here because every time there was a breakup, he waited for the right amount of time to pass. Except, Megumi didn’t.

Now he is with Noritoshi again, and it seems like it was going to stick this time. They moved in together after a few months, and Sukuna is ready to give up when they hit the one-year mark.

He’s waited five years, but he had to draw the line somewhere and finally let it go. Sukuna is ready to let go—until Megumi shows up at his and Yuuji’s apartment at 2 a.m. one night. Immediately he recognizes it: the face Megumi has every time he's just been broken up with. While his expression is steely, his damp lashes and watery blue eyes give him away.

“Yuuji’s at Junpei’s place,” Sukuna says when Megumi doesn't speak. There is an uncomfortable few moments of silence before he continues. “But, I’m here if you wanna talk.”

The other man wordlessly pushes past him, aggressively kicking off his shoes and leaving his coat haphazardly thrown on the floor. Sukuna sighs, picking it up while Megumi settles in on the couch, hugging his knees to his chest and hiding his face.

Megumi weeps quietly and Sukuna sits with him. Neither of them was overtly affectionate, but they sat close enough for their legs and shoulders to brush off one another.

“You can stay here tonight,” he offers because he isn't sure what else he can give in terms of comfort.

When Megumi lifts his head, he gazes at Sukuna with an intensity he hasn’t seen before. Something fierce, hungry and determined ignites in his eyes, making the older man’s stomach do somersaults.

“I’m tired of this,” Megumi says finally, leaving Sukuna perplexed. Tired of what?

There isn't a chance to ask before Megumi is in his lap, crashing their lips together, stealing Sukuna’s breath. It is what he had hoped for—had waited for—and he gets hopelessly lost in the kiss. Holding Megumi’s lithe frame, he devours the mouth he desired for so long.

But then, Sukuna’s stomach churns with fear. He pulls away reluctantly, allowing both of them to catch their breaths.

“I don’t want to be your rebound, Megumi.”

“You’re stupid,” Megumi snaps at him with a scowl.

“What?” He blinked.

“You’re so stupid. I have been giving you hints, I have tried to seduce you, I have been waiting and waiting every time I got dumped because of you,” Megumi growls at him. “You’re not a rebound.”

“Wait, how is you getting dumped my fault?” Sukuna snips back, frustrated because he's completely lost.

“Because every boyfriend I’ve ever had realized I was in love with you, idiot!” Sukuna is stunned into silence. However, he doesn't remain still long before he is lunging for Megumi’s mouth. No more words are needed as they join in a frenzy of lust and pent-up yearning. It is worth the wait.

Megumi is right. Sukuna is stupid and in love.

I don't know you, I don't know who or what you ship, but my understanding of anti vs. pro means being anti vs. pro-shipping children with adults and if you think the majority opinion is that that is perfectly fine and normal, you need to go outside and touch grass.

I assume you're referring to my addition on that poll post. I'm happy to clear a few things up.

Firstly, Proship IS the default opinion and only in recent years has this anti-ship ideology come about (I have my own theories as to why that is, but that's its own can of worms and I specifically just want to adress this ask).

Any Pro vs Anti definitions were made up and forced on proshippers (again, because pro is the default and Antis are new). As such, Antis have skewed the meaning of proship into basically stating that "all proshippers like and endorse this content, and do not discriminate between content or judge the individuals who make it". This actually goes against what proshippers believe. The entire pro-ship philosophy can essentially be boiled down to "don't like, don't read".

There is a whole hoard of fiction that grosses me out. For instance I hate yandere and non-con, and find incest and minor/adult relationships incredibly gross. I even block the "age-gap" tag because even if they are both consenting, having that much of a power imbalance wiggs me out. I've unfollowed some of my favorite artists because they've posted dynamics and scenes that I don't like (Most recently I unfollowed a very popular artist because I found out they ship Sukufushi: a ship between a 16 year old and an ancient demon possessing another 16 year old. Since it's fiction and not reality, you get these wierd nuances that could never happen in the real world and it is up to the individual to decide what they are comfortable with).

A lot of proshippers actually WILL tell you that people who like pedophilic ships or other dark content (such as rape and snuff fics) ARE gross and sick in the head and that the people who think otherwise are delusional. That doesn't mean that I don't believe that they don't have a right to create that content. I just want them to keep it away from me. Hence why I have those tags blocked on tumblr and why I filter them out when I search for fics.

The proshipper philosophy isn't that problematic ideas/ships are good and should be celebrated, and everyone certaintly doesn't believe that it is "perfectly normal", we just think that if you don't like it then, rather than berating the "freaks" who do, simply block and move on and do your best to keep them out of your thoughts, because ultimately, as disgusting as it is, there is no actual harm in it.

Secondly, Antis seem to believe that we proshippers endorse gross/dark content in real life. I assure you that that is NOT the case. And if an individual does, in fact enact their ficticious-but-irl-illegal fantasies, then that is not an example of the pro-shipper caving in and acting out their sick desires in the real world. It is the case of a REAL LIFE pedophile (or whatever) coming into fandom spaces and then interacting with or creating dark content. Is it possible that this happens? Sure. That doesn't mean that it is the default or even common, and basically every proshipper is in agreement that they are disgusting individuals. Again, this is because proshippers believe that fiction should remain fiction. Any time that make-believe turns into real-world actions, it is no longer make-believe and is now a real danger. Antis refuse to see the difference between the two.

You also mentioned touching grass which I think is a little ironic. The proshipper philosophy is that as long as fiction remains fiction, it has no bearing on the real world. It is Antis that have a hard time recognizing that playing pretend isn't the same as physical wrongdoing. Hence, why proshippers use the term "touch grass": it's meant to remind people that there is more to life than fantasy and online discourse, That it's important to log off and go "touch grass" to remind yourself that there is a difference between the tangible real-world and the imaginary scenarios that people create in their heads.

If you (and others! This isn't meant to be a callout, just informative) have difficulty comprehending this, I encourage you to consider the following scenarios:

1) Murder Mysteries: just because someone writes someone getting murdered, does not mean that they would want to see it happen,and certainly not commit it in real life.

2) BDSM: no party that willingly engages in bdsm is truly getting hurt (except to the extent that they want to be). Smacking someone during sessions does not mean that that person would ever do it in real life, and certainly wouldn't support others doing it

3) rape fantasies: this sort of goes along with bdsm, but there is a large difference between having faith that your trusted partner would never hurt you and only acts out a scenario because you ask them to, and being forced against your will to engage in harmful and/degrading sex acts.

4) Shooter Games: For a long time, people believed that playing violent video games corrupted children's moral and made them crave violence and increased the likelihood that they would want to renact that violence and turn into school shooters. There was actually a study done a while ago examining the link between video game violence and real life consequences....and they found nothing. There was no correlation between committing fictional violence and real world impact.

Fiction =/= real life.

Secondly, Antis have a tendency to invade people's inboxes and leave hate comments everywhere. Sometimes this is just saying "this is gross", but often Antis start harassment campaigns, recruiting multiple individuals to scare and intimidate people whose content they don't like (One tactic is to dump hundreds of graphic, gory images into peoples inboxes. I'm sure you can see how that would be traumatizing). Antis also have a history of doxxing people and causing this ficticious content to cause real-life harm to come to people. This is especially concerning since one of the most common things Antis like to parrot is some variation of "kill yourself".

A lot of Antis actually ARE proshippers, they just don't realize it because they get so caught up with the Anti's hate philosophy that they believe that willingly not engaging with content that they don't like (rather than harassing and condemning people who do) is what proshippers stand against. This is why some proshippers use the terms "anti-harrasment" and "pro-censorship" rather than proshippers and antishippers because it helps to clarify what the pro-shipper philosophy ACTUALLY is.

He has his own sick interest in Fushiguro bc of his techniques and stuff, he just finds him interesting for his own reasons, so him saying that he has a little crush is funny bc he rips his shirt off whenever they're alone, (Yuuji restocking his wardrobe😞) but leave it at that. Like y'all don't condone Mei Mei and Ui Ui (I hope) so back off.

Genuine question, no hate because I’m fr delulu to like Sukuna in the first place so I’m one to talk, but why do you ship Megumi and Sukuna? I adore your art!!!

That's okay! Believe it or not i didnt ship sukufushi at all the first time i read and watched jjk. In fact i didnt ship anyone. But when season 2 dropped, i fell in love with them. Idk i think this might be the lamest answer ever but i like the way sukuna "saved" megumi. I knowwww it's not for a good intention, and everyone hates the ship for obvious reasons. but yeah, when it comes to canon i separate the ship and the characters, if that makes sense? I hope so

I am thinking about my sukufushi fic and the most recent manga updates in the context of said fic. Am imagining Sukuna asking Megumi “isn’t this exactly what you wanted?” And Megumi hating him for it and hating himself more because yes he did but no not like this. But he knows there was no other way because he was never going to ask for it and Sukuna DID ultimately force himself inside Megumi and consumed him from the inside out. He DID save him the trouble of asking. But he just. Did it in the worst way possible.

hi gio can you please direct me to some jjk meta? honestly I did not notice the grooming thing with gojo and megumi and I want to talk about it with my mutuals, but none of them seem to have even considered this theme as well, I tried searching through the jjk tag but you and your circle are the only people talking about it 😩 also is it really true that gege said he hates gojo?

hi dear! starting from the easier question here, haha — gege has made reference to his dislike of gojo on several occasions, both in-story and in extra material! there's constant remarks in the text and paratextual materials on gojo's terrible personality and his creepiness and how much other characters dislike him (like nanami or utahime, characters gege writes as sensible and reasonable), and gege himself often makes sarcastic comments about gojo, i remember when gojo won some type of valentine's day contest in shonen jump gege's only comment was "well, i guess he's not dead yet" LMAO. i have seen some people say that in japan this type of needling from an author to a character can be considered a form of respect, but im doubtful as to how much water that holds, so take all that with a grain of salt.

as for the meta — i assume you mean meta about the relationship between gojo and megumi, of which there is a sore lack on tumblr! the jjk fandom on here is quite monotonous and self-righteous and it tends to coagulate around stsg, itfs or self-insert ships, and there's not many people who write meta in general (the most notorious one being lele of tempenensis), let alone meta for a "problematic ship" that doesn't have a large presence here in the first place. i myself emigrated to twitter to find more meta or analysis posts on gojo and megumi, where i encountered the proship side of the argument, or the people who are actually hardcore into shipping gofushi as a normal hot dreamlike couple while completely ignoring its canon aspects (here is why i don't "ship" gofushi); that said, there's a lot of people over there, even shippers, who are invested in dissecting their canon dynamic, such as seaurchincage who writes threads explaining nuances in japanese, or this specific thread by s0ftymegumi which is fairly thorough in collecting all the crumbs of gojo and megumi characterization. unfortunately there is no great big tumblr meta that i know of explaining why and how gojo groomed megumi yet, though we should probably write one at some point, but as you well know you can find a lot of smaller posts about it browsing me and my mutuals' jjk tags; it might seem silly, but the best advice i can give you is to reread jjk with this interpretation in mind and you will start noticing a lot of things to support it — this goes for anything really, i clocked the grooming subtext on my first read but i didn't clock the sukufushi subtext until my reread when i was already partially skfs-pilled.
