Prefect’s Revenge

Summary: The dorm leaders and the vice dorm leader of Scarabia have been noticing weird things going on recently. Having no clue why until the Ramshackle prefect reveals their the one behind their recent misfortune at a meeting.

A/N: This is basically just a crack fic of Mc being done with everyone’s bs and proceeds to traumatize the overblot group. I’m slowly getting back into writing. I hope you’re all doing well and are having a wonderful day/night!

It started off with Riddle soon noticing something different with his breath. Usually after he brushed his teeth he always felt like his breath was minty fresh. Recently though he soon noticed an odd taste in the back of his mouth. He hadn’t changed anything recently. Nothing in his routine seemed different too. Even confiding in Trey about anything that could be causing his bad breath. Sadly Trey couldn’t even figure out why and just told him to buy some mints to help including trying to brush his teeth more. The red head was soon left to ponder why his breath smelled so bad recently.

Then it was Leona. Sure his dormitory was known for reckless and obnoxious beastman. Though it’s never been this bad. All he wanted to do was sleep that’s it, but for some reason his dorm mates refused to turn down the music or stop partying. He was honestly sick and tired of hearing the blasting music from the lounge area. He’s even had to grumpily get out of his bed late early in the morning to tell them to keep it down. He was almost on the verge of actually begging them to shut the fuck up. He couldn’t even sleep in the botanical garden anymore without Last Friday night playing on repeat in his head once again. Even I’m a Barbie girl was haunting him.

Soon misfortune stuck Azul his coin collection that he locked in the vault wouldn’t open. He even got 2 new coins. Very rare and coins that were easy for anyone to steal and make a fortune off of. He soon tried to pull the door open thinking it was jammed. Sadly that didn’t work at all. He’s used a chainsaw, a lock picker, he even tried using the twins brute strength to open the door. After hours and hours of trying to get the door open in a desperate attempt to get his coin collection he threw himself at the door. Sadly, once again nothing worked. He was currently heaving with tears of frustration just wanting to put his new coins in his collection that he couldn’t get to.

Jamil soon started to notice an odd sensation on his back in the middle of the night. He mistook it for the cold breeze coming into his room due to it being colder at night. Soon it felt like something crawling on his back. But every time he checked there was nothing. He soon let his imagination get the best of him thinking it was spiders crawling up his back. Not to mention the recent spider infestation at his dormitory it seemed that everyday for the past week everyone in the Scarabia dorm was seeing spiders. This only scared the vice house warden more.

A horrific thing had happened in Pomefiore. Vil. The Vil Shoenheit had a pimple on his face. A horrendous pimple was on his face. Wait now it’s 2! Now it’s three!! What is happening!? His skincare routine was impeccable!! There’s no way this should be happening!

Idia was currently panicking. How the hell could someone hack him!? His everything was hacked!! He couldn’t even play with only friend online without the screen glitching out! Who the hell even downloaded so many viruses onto his computer!? How did they even download so many!?

Diasomnia was no better than the rest as a harsh thunderstorm plagued the dormitory. Malleus had lost his tamagochi Gao-Gao Drakon-kun. Which should’ve been impossible, but here we are he was currently tearing his room apart. While the rest of diasombia cowered at Malleus’s rage Lilia, Silver, … mainly Lilia and Silver tried to help him calm down and think rationally before he caused a tornado to run through the campus. Sebek was no help at all as he joined in on the destruction of Malleus’s room determined to find his masters Beloved Gao-Gao Drakon-kun.

Soon they were all called to a house warden meeting to discuss something with Crowley. They all stood a bit awkwardly. Riddle for once kept his mouth shut as he sat at the table before shoving another mint into his mouth for the 12th time today. Leona was on the verge of passing out as he looked down looked as if he was in pain and sleep deprived. Azul looked upset for once as if he was frustrated about something. Jamil looked paranoid as he kept glancing back and forth left to right at the walls occasionally slapping his back. He had come due to Kalim needing to study for an upcoming test due to his grades getting low. Vil on the other hand had on a mask. Idia was aggressively tapping his tablet making an upset groan once again seeing the screen glitch. Malleus on the other hand was impatiently tapping his foot he had no time for this he needed to find Gao-Gao Drakon-Kun. He was thankful to actually be here for once, but he had more important matters at the moment.

Soon and unexpectedly {Y/N} came in to break the silence.

“… Well it’s oddly quiet in here for once.” you chuckled.

None of it found it amusing as they all looked desperate to get out of here.

“ Fine then I’ll cut to the chase… Crowley didn’t invite you all here I did. “ you revealed having them all look at you in confusion.

“Why prefect?” *riddle asked popping another mint into his mouth after cringing smelling his breath.

“Well you see… you guys all remember when you overblotted right?” the atmosphere immediately grew a bit tense.

“I’m still pretty pissed about it to be honest so I thought why not get revenge on all of you.” This immediately caught their attention.

Soon Vil ripped off his mask yelling “ You did this to me!?” The others stared at him in shock his chin and cheeks were covered in red pimples. Well everyone except you this made you chuckle as you nodded.

“ Yep I replaced that cream you use in your face routine with lard.” You giggled as Vil gasped looking at you in disbelief.

“… W-wait what did you do to be then?” Riddle asked covering his mouth this made you sigh.

“ Riddle in all honesty I did this to you a while ago when you acted like a tyrant… I’ll apologize for this one but… I used your tooth brush to clean the toilets in Ramshackle.”he stood there in shock before gagging and running out the room.

The others just looked at you in shock and one by one you revealed what you did to them. For Leona you actually installed speakers outside his room that constantly play Last Friday night and Barbie girl. Turns out Ruggie really will do anything for a quick buck and donuts. Azul you had used super glue on the vaults lock. Idia you had ortho teach you how to hack and he’s surprisingly a very good teacher; you even sent idias search history to his parents. You had actually put a pregnant spider in Jamils room. Last but not least for Malleus you stole his tamagotchi.

“… You did all this for what!?” *Azul had a crazed look on his face as he looked at you in disbelief.

“ Revenge!” You yelled.

Riddle sat back, tuning you all out. This boy was at a loss for words. You, a Lawyer??? How is that even possible? You're a Freshman... but Riddle recalls the time you set an Olympic World record for figure skating, and the time you hacked into a Government network using nothing but the school library computers. Maybe you being a Lawyer isn't so unrealistic after all.

Deuce

• Deuce always thought you were gorgeous and admirable, not that he would tell you that! He's too embarrassed

• It's kind of obvious though, with the way he never takes his eyes off you as you talk to him, he's got this lovesick gaze on him it makes ace roll his eyes

• Being friends with you from the beginning of the school year, he's used to you and all your skills, you still manage to surprise him from time to time though. Like creating a new life form from the potions in potionology should not be possible and yet here you are...

• Although that's what he admires about you, how you've accomplished so much at a young age. As an aspiring honor student he looks up to you. Admiration that's all it was, nothing more haha...

  When deuce got your message to come over to Ramshackle, he certainly wasn't expecting to see you arguing with a rooster and a big chicken coop in the back of the dorm. When did that even get there? "George please! just get back in the coop, everyone else listened to me!" George clucked at you, clearly not listening. "Ugh we're gonna be here forverer- Oh! Deuce you came!" You grin, diverting your eyes from the big chicken to the boy standing outside the fence. "Well don't just stand there come on in," Snapping out of his daze he goes through the fence and meets up with you. "Is this what you wanted to show me?" He asks. "Yup! I was a chicken farmer back in my world and i've just missed growing my own foods so I decided to start one here,"

You strech your arms out, signaling to the land around Ramshackle. You clasp your hands together with a soft grin on your face "I know how much you like eggs so I thought once my chickens lay some, we could make some egg dishes with it!"

• Before Epel offically met you he had seen you around, kind of hard not to with you being the most stylish person in NRC, you kinda stick out

• Although he only really got a good look at your style once he stayed at Ramshackle for the VDC.

You would come down every morning with a new oufit, hair and makeup done to a tee, he wonders if your closet is just limitless and how you have so many clothes and accessories.

• Ngl he probably thought you were one of those -prim and proper, freaks out at getting dirty- kind of person.... at first

• On the weekends when you don't have to stick around with practice, you would leave in the morning and come back later on and talk about your day at dinner, and you would always say the most insane shit Epel has ever heard in his life

"What do ya mean you discovered a new life species?" Epel glares at you from your vanity mirror. You shrug, continuing your nightly routine. Epel was sat on your bed, listening to you recount what you did today.  "Oh you should've seen it! It was a new bird species with the most gorgeous feather pattern, It took a couple of hours to find them out in the Savanna but it was so worth it." In the Savanna? You didn't look like you went to the Savanna. With your colorful outfit and perfectly manicured nails, and those glossy lips... Ugh! Epel shook his head. Just what is he thinking? But as he looks up at you, fully turned around, he can't help but notice just how stunning you really are.

Azul

• He doesn't really like you so he thinks

• But he's kinda intimidated by you, like most others in the school he underestimates you until he tried to take Ramshackle from you

• He was NOT prepared for you to list off all the shady and bordering on illegal business practices he was doing. How did you figure him out so quickly?? Did you also run a business perhaps?? the answer is yes, you do.

• You don't like his methods and try to talk to all his potential clients as you are fim beilever that if you put your mind to it, you can be anything! No need to sign away your powers or voice. Azul, clearly, does not like this and so there's just this mutual little rivalry between the two of you, although you do respect each other to some degree

Azul could feel his eye twitch, he has been going back and forth with you on this matter he's starting to falter. You two currently sat in the VIP room of the Mostro lounge. He's been trying to get you to sign this damn contract so he can take up your dorm. You, on the other hand are stubborn and refuse to give up the dorm you spent so much time renovating! He's beginning to wonder if it's even worth it at this point, maybe he can extend his business elsewhere... No! He's gotten this far he's not about to back down, but as he glances at you with your arms crossed and cute pout on your face, grim sitting next to you mimicking your stance... Azul feels as if he's gonna be here all night.

Sebek

• He didn't really think much of you for a while

• Sebek had more important things to worry about which is why he didn't pay attention to you until you pop out from behind Coach Vargas at Vargas camp, donning a military uniform and little yellow visor glasses, exclaiming how your gonna be the one in charge to whip up all those boys into shape.

• Sebek always thought he was prepared for any physical activity, after all he is a bodyguard in training.

• So imagine his surprise when your god forsaken training regimen has him fighting for air! HIM! The bodyguard to a prince! He never thought he would hate the sound of a whistle but by the seven can you stop blowing that damn thing?!?!

• Oh he needs a break...

  Sebek sat near the river, reflecting on the events of today when the sound of footsteps from behind bring him out of his thoughts. "There you are Sebek!" you exclaim, stopping right next to him. "I've been looking for you, gosh you are hard to find," He raises an eyebrow, "Looking for me?" He repeats. "Mhm! I wanted to ask you about today, Many of the other students struggled to keep up, but you were way ahead of the rest. I was curious about what you do that keeps you so fit." The half fae smirks, his already massive ego growing even more at your little observation. No way was he gonna let you know that even he had a bit of trouble with your hellish training.

"Well if you must know, I am a royal bodyguard and I must be physically fit if I am to protect my Liege." Your mouth gapes a little, "A royal bodyguard?? Wow no wonder you were able to keep up! The workouts I planned today were easier verions of the ones I gave back in my world, I wonder if I should make them even easier." You sigh, "Being a military commander isn't easy work." You nodded to yourself, currently lost in your own little world as you think of different workouts to give.

Riddle doesn’t know what to do about you. He feels so incredibly frustrated every single time you score higher than him on a test because he should be better. How can he pride himself in being Heartslabyul’s Housewarden if he can’t even be at the top of his class?

So what does he do with that frustration? He studies harder and harder because clearly he isn’t trying hard enough. His health deteriorated, and if it wasn’t for Trey, Riddle would be even more of a wreck.

Then he finally does it. All of that work culminates into Riddle finally scoring a point higher than you on his Magical History exam. He stares at the board smugly, really admiring his name above yours (which is how it should be, in his mind.)

You approach the board too, and he expects you to say something about how you’ll score higher than him next time or how you can’t believe he’s finally beaten you, but instead, you nod cheerfully and walk away.

You just walk away. You don't even look at him. You’re satisfied with yourself?! Riddle feels rage bubbling up in his chest, and he almost screams at you right there and then in the hallway. What is wrong with you?!

It doesn’t help matters when Crewel assigns a huge project that's to be completed by two people, and places you and Riddle together. He’s so hell-bent on avoiding you the entire time, even when your face grows annoyed at his inability to cooperate.

“This project is a long one, you know.” you tell him one day, staring daggers into the side of his skull, “It takes six months to complete. If you want to get a good grade you’ve got to lay down your pride and talk to me. I’m not put up with this for half a year.”

Riddle hates that you’re right. He hates it so much because he’s always supposed to be the sensible one. He’s studied the rules over and over and yet you stump him. You make him wrong.

Is he wrong to resent you for that? Is it wrong to want to destroy your pride? Is it wrong to hate that you seemingly get everything you’ve ever wanted so easily while he’s worked hard for it?

Is it wrong that he wants to cooperate so hard and so efficiently with you that you take back everything you said to him?

Azul wants to get you in his debt so BADLY. He isn’t at the very top of his class, no. That title belongs to Riddle, who has refused his offers for a contract time and time again. Maybe there’s something you want, though.

He will find it. He will examine you every day and pick apart every insecurity and moment of sadness. That smart little brain of yours may be good for tests, but when it comes to manipulation, you have nothing on Azul.

It’s a small comfort if nothing else. You may have the entire school wrapped around your finger and the Leech twins might be fascinated with you, but that doesn’t matter.

Well, it doesn’t matter until you show up at the Lounge of your own volition. Azul is shocked when he hears the twins call your name, and you enter his VIP Room looking far too calm.

Floyd almost hacks up a laugh from laughing too hard when you ask for tutoring. Azul is baffled as Jade snickers, wondering why the person who outscores Azul continuously would ask him for tutoring.

But this is his chance. And so he writes up a contract, asking for something vague because he doesn’t know what he’ll need from you yet but he’s certain you’ll come in handy in the future and suddenly—

You wrinkle your nose and hand the contract back to him, pointing at one of the conditions. “I don’t like that one. Change it.” you say, and Floyd starts cackling again because no one has ever read them that closely.

It’s a condition that states you will come to the Lounge whenever Azul summons you. It’s vague enough that the signer may not realize he truly means whenever, but outlined enough to make them assume that it only applies to the time frame in which the main part of the contract is in effect.

It’s sneaky, and you caught it. Azul’s eyebrow twitches as he stares at you, forcing a smile on his features. Why, of course he can change that for you! What would you like it to say instead? You should know that he’s on home turf right now, and he never loses in the comfort of his VIP Room.

You gather all seven of them first and foremost: “Hey @everyone I’ve got major news! Come to Ramshackle quick!!! ;)”

A quick text to your relationship group chat gets everyone together pretty quickly, save Leona and Malleus

Leona is an easy fix, you simply text him privately, knowing he keeps the group chat on silent but his phone will ring for you

If that doesn’t work you usually just text Ruggie and tell him to get your boyfriend (one of them) on the phone asap

Malleus on the other hand is tricky

It’s hard to know if he’s actually seen your text or not because he isn’t very good at keeping his phone on him or even responding if he does see the text

Luckily you’ve worked around this with a clever magical hack he shared with you

For your last birthday, Malleus gifted you a bracelet that could ‘summon’ him

All you had to do was grip one of the beads and think about him and he would be able to sense you

Sometimes you gripped the red bead: (you are sending him love), sometimes you grip the blue bead: (you are feeling down), and sometimes you use the green bead: (you miss him or would like him to come see you)

The green bead is directly in the middle so you can grip two beads at once depending on why you would like him to find you

(Big scary fae boy gets anxious that you’re hurt or sad and will show up guns blazing, no questions asked, so you have to reassure him that sometimes you just miss him)

It doesn’t take long for everyone to get together, sitting in various areas and positions in the Ramshackle lounge

You take a deep breath and smile big even though you are a little nervous

“Guys, Crowley found a way to send me back home.”

For a moment there is only silence, long, tense silence

Then an explosion of reactions

Riddle turns white, red, and then back to normal in under 30 seconds, nodding stiffly

Leona lets out a growl and Azul blinks in stunned silence

Vil’s eyes widen and his jaw hardens while Malleus stands calmly despite the thunder that cracks outside

Idia and Kalim have completely lost it, each in their own way, Idia whimpering and shifting uncomfortably and Kalim throwing himself into your arms, bawling

“QUIET!” Riddle yells and everyone turns to him “If y/n desires to leave then we should support them with our best efforts!”

“Thank you, Riddle,” you say calmly as Kalim pulls back sniffling, “However that leads me to my next point; when do I leave?”

All of them hold their breath praying for varying answers all of which sounding like “not for a long time”

“I miss my home very much. I had a life there and people I loved. But I don’t know how I will be able to fit into that life anymore. And so, I have decided to stay, permanently.” 

Again silence, but this time, nearly all of them leapt up to hug you and most of them even shed a few tears

Idia, Malleus, and Leona hung back for their own individual hugs, each of them appreciating their own space when it comes to you

Malleus and Leona because they are pretty territorial when it comes to your affection and Idia because he simply doesn’t like unnecessary physical contact with anyone who isn’t you

Kalim cries out about a sleepover/feast/party/parade that needs to be held in celebration of your decision

Leona and Malleus both offer financial support for you if you decide you want your own home

Azul decides he will cook a nice dinner for the two of you and present an official job in the management of the Mostro Lounge as you will need stable employment

Vil promises a spa day and assistance in redoing the Ramshackle dorm since you “simply cannot live in a large scale hovel for the rest of your life” 

Riddle busies himself with calming Kalim down and trying to restore order to the impromptu ‘meeting’

Idia stayed quiet, seemingly too relieved to say anything or participate in the celebrations

As chaotic as it was, you secretly loved it

Chaos was these boys and these boys were yours and being with them made you happier than anything

The grandfather clock in Ramshackle’s living room ticked, you sat on the couch fiddling with your phone, constantly checking the time

11:29pm

You sighed impatiently.

You were spending your first birthday here in Twisted Wonderland, your first birthday away from your home world. You wondered if there were any traditions for birthdays in this world apart from parties and gifts, but considering that this world was barely any different from yours, aside from magic, you didn’t get your hopes up nor bother to research.

You scrolled through the posts on your Magicam account’s feed, it wasn’t as tuned to your interests as you would like it to be, but you didn’t even know if what you were interested in even existed here. Cooking videos, life hacks, ASMR, you watched it all for a distraction from boredom.

Suddenly the grandfather clock rang, your eyes darted to the time on your phone

12:00am,

You got ready to make a small celebratory post on your Magicam story when a soft light in the corner of the room caught your attention, a familiar horned figure emerged from the light and gave you a small smile as his feet met the floor

“Malleus!” you greeted happily, Malleus quietly walked up to you and handed over a small box, assuming to be your gift

“Happy birthday, Child of Man. I am quite unfamiliar as to what humans enjoy as gifts for their birthday, but Lilia gave me some guidance, so I hope you enjoy it”.

Malleus had to admit that he was nervous for your reaction, it was his first time giving a human a gift apart from Silver, but it was a joyous occasion, so he held off that nervousness.

You carefully untied the shiny green ribbons that secured the box, Malleus could see sparkles in your eyes when they laid their gaze onto his gift. It was a golden ring with root-like designs that held the precious dark red gem in place. Gently removing the ring from its cushion, you put it on your index finger and admired how it shined under the light.

“So, what do you think of it?” Malleus asked, you gave him a bright smile then got up from the couch to give him a hug “I love it! Usually I wouldn’t be interested in jewelry, but this one that you picked out…I just love it” you laughed a close eyed smile up at Malleus who stared down at you, the only human who has been brave enough to casually embrace him like this.

He carefully put his hands on the small of your back, unsure of what exactly to do, before returning the hug. This scene laid on the fine line between friends and lovers, a line that was blurring every day for both of you as you both slowly became more aware of the feelings both of you held for each other. You both broke the embrace softly and transitioned to a comfortable silence until a knock pierced the air

“Hey! [Name]! We’re here!”

You hurriedly opened the door to be greeted with the first years and a couple of the housewardens, mainly Kalim alongside Jamil, Riddle, and Azul

“Happy birthday, Prefect!” they yelled in unison as they entered, you laughed and thanked them while Malleus smiled at the sight from the sidelines.

As everyone chatted with you and amongst each other, suddenly Malleus calls you to join him in the balcony of the dorm, curious you followed him.

Now you both of you stood in the balcony, arms resting on the wooden ledges as the cool night air pricked your skins.

“So, what’d you call me here for?”

Malleus was a bit hesitant to answer, “Would you believe me if I said that I just wanted to be with you?”

You faltered for a second, a small blush crept on your cheeks, but later you just smiled at him again

“Yeah, I would”

“Do you think it was selfish to bring the celebrant away from the festivities?”

“I know it’s wrong to have favorites, but among all the others you’re the most precious to me, Malleus, so in this case it’s not”

Now it was the prince’s turn to be flustered, he gazed at you as you stared at the bright night sky, swearing he could see all the stars reflected onto your eyes like droplets of white paint on a dark canvas.

His gazed softened and the corners of his lips pulled up into a small smile

‘One day I’ll tell you’ he thought ‘I want to make all your days feel like it’s your birthday, like this birthday’.

“[Name]! It’s time to blow out the candles!” Ace called

You looked back and saw the cake the first years made and smiled happily,

“C’mon Malleus! I’ll make a wish!” you lightly tugged at his hand as you held it

Thoughts on Sibling!Yuu AU

The main reason I made the Sibling!Yuu AU was because I wanted to see Yuu being the older one for once. In most fandoms, it’s pretty common to see a younger sibling reader fic so I wanted to flip that trope for once. It’s also quite rare for the reader to be older than a teen or an adult. The second reason was the massive angst potential it held. That’s right, Yuu overblot was imminent from the very start in this one because honestly the probability of the overblot boys overblotting much earlier because of Yuu is very high and is extremely likely. Them blaming Yuu for some of the things happening in their life is also very likely.

Sibling!Yuu has everything the overblot boys want to have and those with their inferiority complex would just make it worse.

For example with Riddle. Would he blame Yuu for running away from their mother, which in turn made their mother stricter with Riddle so that he wouldn’t end up like Yuu? Would he resent this fact? He’d likely have a negative initial impression of them because they ran from their own mother and Riddle at an early time still thinks that their mother is always right and that means what Yuu did was wrong. Anything or anyone that opposes their mother is wrong. Anyone who opposes the things their mother taught him was wrong. Anyone who opposes him is always wrong. Though, a deep part of him is envious that Yuu got to be free. Whether Riddle blames Yuu or not, Yuu will think that it’s their fault.

Even if he doesn’t say it out loud, Leona would feel irritated every time he sees Yuu telling him what to do and what not to do so he doesn’t end up like them. Their constant presence keeps reminding him that the only reason he couldn’t become king was because he wasn’t born earlier and Yuu got a taste of that crown, even if they did get kicked out of the family in the end.

Yuu’s constant interference with dealing with Azul’s bullies when they were younger only made the bullies bolder and meaner the moment Yuu went away so there’s that possibility of some kind of blaming in that one, just like in Riddle’s situation.

As for Jamil's situation, although not Jamil's sibling, Yuu's still part of the Asim family and Jamil technically has a resentment for them because of, well, everything. He was forced to downplay his abilities and be responsible for Kalim, and he has no choice but to serve the Asim family. Kalim himself might not have a problem with Yuu, but Jamil sure does because there’s another person from the Asim family. Another person he has to be responsible for because they seem to be just as careless and reckless as Kalim, even if Yuu is technically older. (Someone stop me, please, I am becoming feral. I can’t stop thinking of Jamil getting a huge crush on this Yuu for some reason and I am internally screaming. He really gonna do the enemies to lovers arc after his overblot, or even before that, and I just can’t. He really said: ‘If I can’t get out of this family, I’m just gonna have to marry into it.’)

Then we have Vil. Yuu would definitely be a big contender for the most beautiful one of all and Vil is not happy. Now that he’s realized that he actually had a sibling, he has to compete with them to be the most beautiful. And he just can’t understand why he’s losing to a sudden sibling he hasn’t even met until now! What was so different between the two of them? Yuu wasn’t even that active in social media before but now that they were staying in NRC for some reason (for plot reasons), people were now beginning to constantly compare the two of them and it’s driving Vil insane.

As for Idia, after seeing the reason why Ortho got diagnosed with the dead, there’s also some blaming there. Yuu’s supposed to be one running the S.T.Y.X organization but both Idia and Ortho (the og) got inside and managed to hack the system. This’ll definitely raise the question of why the two were allowed entry easily when there were dangerous things locked inside the place and why Yuu wasn’t keeping a closer eye to them when they were in the facility that led to the accident. 

I might also have to retcon the previous Idia!Yuu's background to fit with Shroud brother’s story. So now the idea that I have is that Yuu was present for the brother’s childhood growing up (kind of) but they didn’t have a close relationship and it was very distant. The Shroud brothers probably don’t remember Yuu, either. They probably thought Yuu was just an employee in S.T.Y.X. and not their sibling. Still, Yuu cared for them so much that when the incident happened, they were overwhelmed with grief and willingly locked themselves away because they fully blamed themselves for what had happened.  The only reason they broke out of their self-imposed prison and landed themself in NRC was because they heard Grim talking about Ortho as if he was alive and wanted to see what was up with that. Yuu doesn’t want to show their face to their younger brothers because they’re ashamed and feel like they don’t deserve it.

Then we have Malleus. I don’t know if he’s the jealous type or not, but seeing your older sibling be more sociable than you (somehow, even when they act like a kuudere) and getting more friends than you despite the fact that they’re the older Draconia sibling while Malleus himself was avoided and have had people fear him would be kinda frustrating. It’s another case of ‘what do you have that I don’t?’ thing. Or maybe the others are taking Yuu’s time away and they barely hang out with Malleus and he finds this unfair because Yuu’s their sibling so why is everyone taking them away? Why isn’t Yuu hanging out with them?

Additionally, we can’t forget the fact that Yuu literally go against the boys. There’s bound to be some feelings of betrayal there. Kinda like a. “We’re family and you’re taking their side?! Why are you abandoning me for them?!”

A bit after the STYX incident, Riddle started dating a guy (imagine a regular NPC).

Riddle was incredibly anxious, but considered this a victory, a sign that he was healing and acting like a teenager. He asked Cater, Ace and Vil for tips and prepared a whole study guide on how to be a good boyfriend, though.

After a week or two of just hanging out during lunch and chatting, the couple decided to organize an actual date.

They settled for an afternoon at a local coffee shop. Riddle was so happy.

And then the guy stood him up.

It was okay. An emergency dormhhead meeting was called ten minutes later so he would have to cancel things anyway. But still...

Now, just to set things up, of the cast of known students, the only ones that knew about the date were Heartslabyul (obviously), the Octotrio (they were shoving vouchers at Riddle's face subtly giving hints about using Mostro Lounge as a date spot) the Pop Music Club, Vil, Rook, Idia (Azul told him) and the first years.

Curious (and worried) about the situation, Kalim and Vil asked Riddle about the date during the meeting. Malleus was personally offended and Azul was feeling so generous he even invited the group over to Monstro Lounge (everyone except Riddle had to pay, though).

Interestingly enough, the school was really quiet that day, and not even Crowley knew the reason for calling the meeting...

You see, tuns out the date never actually cared for Riddle, it was just a prank.

The plan was to claim an emergency had happened ("I lost a book in the abandoned mines, and my friend needs it to study for a test next week!"), Riddle would volunteer to go fetch the book by himself like the stubborn housewarden that he is, and the date would go to the coffee shop to reserve their seats.

Except the guy wouldn't come back, using the permission slip to to go to Sage Island's beach with a few other friends, certain that Riddle would be too busy fighting the monsters in the mine (or overblotting) to realize something was wrong.

It was a perfect plan! If they were actually ABLE to keep a secret, or weren't up against Riddle's friends...

Cater had already done a background check of thr guy as soon as he started talking to Riddle, with Chen'ya and Lillia also helping out. Trey tipped Rook off, and don't get me started on the first years, who went a step further and asked Ortho to hack the guy's social media...

The date was attacked by the first years and a few cauldrons before he could even leave the school, while the beach party was ruined by the Tweels and a stampede of Caters...

The rest of the cast was kept mostly in the dark, with only a vague message of "Rids is sad, cheer him up pls, we're busy RN. Ttyl XOXO." from Cater. Idia, thinking Riddle was having a social anxiety crisis over the date, called a dormhead meeting by hacking Crowley's phone, hoping this was a good enough excuse to cancel the event.

Needless to say the "boyfriend" and his friends didn't last for long after everyone ELSE got the memo... Vil and Leona can be a SCARY duo, but angry Malleus and Idia are even WORSE!

First doesn't really see the reason behind it, thinks it's cool but doesn't see himself necessarily asking for help

He tends to like using everything on pen and paper still, so if he has to write emails or do things online, he may ask you there. In return, he helps you with things like snail mail (his handwriting's beautiful btw)

I feel like overall he would find it to be cool and will ask you about your abilities just to learn more about you. However, he won't be needing your powers anytime soon (just more simple online help would be enough)

Leona

He will only ask for your help in the most basics of tasks like turning on or off the lights or putting his phone on "do not disturb"

Despite his lazier attitude, he's pretty alert. He knows for example if you're going to use your ability when doing homework (will ask you randomly) and he learns how you are able to manipulate electronics without asking you a lot of questions

I feel like Leona would've liked you for who you were whether or not he knew about your abilities, but nonetheless he does find it to be a pretty cool (and useful) one

Azul

He really likes your abilities and will ask you to help him create some kind of digital ordering app or reservation platform for his lounge hahaha

However he does also like learning from you about your abilities and perhaps about electronics in general (you might have a lot of knowledge on them just because you use them so often). He's still not the best when it comes to online platforms, so you can definitely help him there

He finds your ability to be fascinating! While he himself won't be needing as much help as perhaps some others, he does appreciate the little help you give him when running the lounge's digital side

Jamil

Will ask you how your ability came to be since it's really new to him. He likes learning about others anyways, so it's a nice thing for him to hear about!

Jamil might ask if you can hack into systems and if you can. For some reason I can see him going after scammers that try to target Kalim's computer haha. It might be kind of fun to prank them too

The vice dorm leader isn't the best with technology so you might want to help him out when you can. He'll deeply appreciate it, perhaps he'll make you some of your favorite foods in return!

Vil

You can turn off or block people that try to message him? Like all the crazy fans he has or his annoying manager? Great. He'll ask for your help

Vil's more tech-savvy than he looks, mainly because he has to keep his online presence so up to date. He however, likes how you can manipulate communications. He also likes that you can change traffic lights so whenever you two are going somewhere, expect him to ask you to use it

Though he may find your ability to be super useful, he still feels bad when asking for your help. He'll show you a lot of gratitude whenever you do end up helping him with something, perhaps in the form of a really expensive perfume haha

Idia

Probably the only one that uses your ability the most but you also like using it with him so it's a win-win situation

The internet speed in his room is like crazy high, some other Ignihyde students will ask how that's even possible. Like how can it just be Idia's room and specifically only when you're around haha

He would've been too shy to ask you for help at first, but seeing how he looked curious about your abilities you decided to help. Honestly now you two use it whenever you two play games together or watch anime (it's very convenient!)

How do Azul and Ruggie react to the move pay day? I read some hcs that said that it's a banned move because trainers would abuse it and mistreat their meowths.

At first they thought it was some sort of life hack because free gold was too good to be true.

But Phoebe has to explain that Pokemon who knows the move Pay Day, and are owned by trainers are kept under strict rules or just outright prohibit the use of the move and would have the owner replace that move with a TM.

There have been cases where Pay Day Pokemon were mistreated a lot so there are rules around that.

Azul and Ruggie would be kind of understanding though a little disappointed. But to them it would make sense.

If they had a UM that made wealth, no doubt they'd be exploited too.

Ruggie wants to make money to get his family over poverty but not at the expense of someone else. He'd be no better than some rich jerks looking down on them.

Azul may have been greedy once but he knows better than to mistreat a creature. He's learned from his mistakes. Pokemon CAN and WILL not take disrespect kindly.

He's got his own way of making money 💰.

We have mafuyu black sheep so I made the rest of the N25 members as black sheep siblings. Honestly, it works better with mafuyu being vils sibling because riddle admits that he didn’t have technology as a child, and I included the nightcord group, and while it’s not required for this au, it’s implied that mafuyu is part of it. Also, the last one turned into a Riddle x oc thing but I don’t hate it. But what do you think of it? Possible trigger warnings for each character below:

Kanade!shroud: suicide, death (if mentions of ortho count), and eating disorder

Mizuki!ashengrotto: bullying, eating disorder, and gender dysphoria 

Ena!trappola: mentions of riddles mom, a toxic sibling relationship, and bad self care. 

Kanade!shroud, who grew up with the blot monsters after Ortho’s death, being somewhat cast out of their family. Idia did nothing as their parents had Styx employees remove them from their room at night, and their parents who watched and commanded the employees to cast their child away into unknown depths. They were given a computer to keep data on the blot creatures, to do Styx’s work for them. Kanade!shroud still into music, it was the only thing they kept after being thrown away. They vowed in their loneliness and grief, that they would use their musical talents to help people from ending up like Ortho, and from ending up with a suicide wish. They were easily able to hack onto a website called Nightcord (or another form of discord). It was much easier to talk to people online, through the screen where no one could see the scars from their “roommates”, as kanade!shroud liked to think of it as, and they weren’t stuttering every other sentence, and barely mumbling through whatever they wanted to say. Kanade!shroud had made 3 friends, who they soon formed a music creating group with. Sometimes, they wondered if Ortho or Idia would be proud of them, if they would approve of their siblings friends. However, kanade!shroud was quick to dismiss these thoughts, as they wouldn’t compose a song. Their wishes for their siblings wouldn’t save anyone, and those thoughts wouldn’t save their mysterious friend. They promised to work endlessly until their songs were worthy of their mysterious friends life. And afterward, when their songs were, kanade!shroud could finally succumb to blot creatures. They could finally see Ortho again, but they shake that hope out of their head. The blot creatures were at Styx, and kanade!shroud is at their dorm in NRC. They have a song to compose, and first they need to find their (Idia’s) computer charger in the piles of sheet music littered around their room, and ignore the metal knocking on their door, as they always do.

Mizuki!ashengrotto, who wasn’t bullied as bad or much as Azul when they were kids, even when Jade and Floyd befriended their brother. Mizuki!ashengrotto growing up with constant feelings of discomfort when looking at the mirror, but not in the way Azul does. The discomfort isn’t fixed by not eating like Azul’s was for a period of time. The discomfort is always lingering around them, Azul could see it, Jade could see it, Floyd could see it, it seemed like everyone knew of their feelings, yet no one had a solution for them. Mizuki!ashengrotto, who accepted this discomfort, until they started getting into fashion. They dressed with some of the opposite gendered accessories for some time. Their moms bows or pearls woven into their hair, or wearing a hat of Azuls. They found some comfort in these accessories, in the space between. This was also when the bullying truly got bad. First it was being related to Azul, which Mizuki!ashengrotto easily ignored, but now, it was harder to ignore. And they watched as Azul did nothing to help them, as he would swim away with those 2 eels. They were able to fully transition, they had a supportive family and Jade and Floyd were….there, mizuki!ashengrotto notes, but that wouldn’t keep the gossip and whispers away, and that wouldn’t bury their past and keep that secret. However, in their group of online friends, they had no secret to be concerned about, they each had their own hobbies and skills, which didn’t require their secret to be known. Mizuki!ashengrotto ended up in Octanville with Azul and the Leech twins. While they work nicely, they never speak to Azul much, there’s nothing that could be said, that they could do themselves to patch the rift created. 

Ena!trappola, who was always praised for their art skills as a child. However, they always overheard the teachers talking about their talent. “They’re as talented as their brother is!” or  “He was always good at art too, I suppose it runs in the family.” They hate it, being compared to a memory. When their younger brother, Ace enters school a year after them, they promise themselves that he won’t have to deal with the praise and comparisons from teachers. After all, there’s no way to compare someone like him to the best artist in school. Ena!trappola, who’s plan worked until middle school, when their older brother came to visit from NRC for a family day. He pulled them to the side, and directly told them to quit art. Ena!trappola, who still remembers how they dropped their canvas, how they begged for a reasonable answer, and how their beloved older brother dismissed them. He quickly hugged Ace, and showed him a magic trick, as if he hadn’t shattered his siblings confidence. However, it was never in a Trappola’s nature to give up so easily. If Ena!trappola looked up from their sketchbook for a second, they could have seen their friend and classmate, Riddle, have his gaze linger on them too long, revealing how he missed having a friend, revealing how he longed for the friend his mother hadn’t ripped away from him yet. He wouldn’t address these feelings with ena!trappola, not until his second year in NRC. Riddle watched silently as Ena!trappola worked themselves to exhaustion, sketching, painting, brainstorming, and carrying materials everywhere. He could only imagine what they did at their house, if this is what they did at school. Ena!trappola who finds plenty of inspiration and escape online with their group of friends in Nightcord and on Magicam. They watch on magicam as Ace follows them, out of request from their parents, and they watch Ace’s life from magicam, out of danger of ruining their relationship more than the both of them had. Besides, it’s not in a Trappola’s nature to admit defeat so easily, that’s the same as giving up.
