A criminal mastermind who seeks to ransom New York by causing a black out using a computer virus ,known only as the Face due to the fact his face i resembles a Picasso painting ,and everytime he tries to explain his tragic backstory,he is interrupted.He's a fun over the top villain (Wonderfully played in the English dub by Vincent D'Onofrio )

9.Mr Jones from Animal Farm

Jones is the cruel alcoholic farmer who is taken out of power when his animals rise against him.Now those familiar with the book might be calling foul,after all the leader of the Pigs is the main villain ,Jones is out of the picture pretty early....And while thats true ,and Napoleon is still the villain....I gave this spot to Jones cause.....His shadow LOOMS over this adaptation ,as the animals actions are all in rightious anger against ghis tyrany,defiance of his methods,fear of his return and even realizing Napoleon has basically beco9me a second Jones .He is also very menacing and he is animated brillaintly

8. Lucifer from the Wonderful World of Puss n Boots

An ogre sorcerer who wants to wed the princess.....And the more she says no the less nice he becomes .So while Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre has my favorite take on the ogre from Puss n Boots ,I think this might be the best take .Here the ogre is an entitled suitor who while intitially having a nice guy facade ,becomesw meaner and nastier the more he do9esnt get what he wants

7.General Woundwort from Watership Down

A chief rabbit who rules his warren with an iron paw .So gonna be honest here,I much prefer him in the book ,as the film cuts out his backstory and the more complicated aspects of his characters.In the film he is just a brutal monster.....But hot damn thats what makes him scary .He is a incredibly savage killer who values strength above all ,assuming that tough guy Bigwig is the chief of the heroes and dismissing the real chief Hazel cause he is smaller and has a limp .Also Harry Andrews harsh delivery adds to the intimadation factor .I also his final act is bad ass

6.Mok from Rock and Rule

Mok is an aging rock star whose past his prime,coasting on his sucess , who has decided to raise a demon because ...I have no idea.His motivation is vague and honestly kind of dumb.....But damn does this guy have style ,I love his various costume changes and wigs .His animation gives him this sort of swagger about him and I adore Don Francks vocal delivery .He is very style over substance,which is oddly fitting for the character

5.Count Cagliostro from Lupin III:The Castle of Cagliostro

An evil count who is in charge of a massive counterfitting opperation that has infiltrated multiple countries that made him arrest proof who seeks to use two mcguffins to find an ancient treasure and marry a princess against her will .When I first saw this film,I didnt like this guy ,I thought he was a generic bad guy......But upon rewatch thats kind of what I like about him.This is a guy who knows he is the bad guy and enjoys it .He is going by the classic bad guy textbook and I love that .Heck I dont even think he has any reason at all to marry the princess other then thats what villains do .He's also one of the few Lupin villains who feels like a threat .I do like more nuanced villains(The top three are examples of that ) but I do have a soft spot for uncomplacted very evil dudes and miss the days of classical mustache twirly villainy

4.Colonel Muska from Castle in the Sky

A government agent who is an expert on Laputa (Titular flying castle) ,he intitally seems to be just a "suit",a face to give the faceless government ....Cept while he seems like one type of villain he actually is another ....Cause Muska is actually a descendent of Laputa and seeks to use its destructive cpabilities for conquest ,and is a power mad monster killing all the soldiers he had been working with through out the movie (Also when watching the English dub once he shifts to crazy mode that is the exact moment you go "Oh so thats why they cast Mark Hamill " ).I think the shift is very well handled .He's easilly a favorite of mine

3. Tetsuo from Akira

So Tetsuo is a troubled kid who ends up awkening psychic powers.....Then everything goes wrong .Tetsuo is kind of tragic .Oh he's still certainly a villain ,but when you break him down....He's just a kid.A kid with a inferiority complex,jealousy of his best friend and rage issues ,which are all inhanced and made worse due to his powers .Break him down,he's just a kid lashing out

2.Karaba from Kirikou and the Sorceress

A evil sorceress known for hating and eating all men .At first she seems like a classic fairy tale villain ,an evil sorceress who our young hero must defeat....Until we find out....She's a victim. Her hatred of men comes from being wronged by them ,and her power comes from a poisionus thorn,that while great power comes from it so does great pain . Her pain has isolated her ,made her cruel and hate filled,not entirely a monster (She actually does not eat people ) but definately living up to the villain image people see her as .I like her style and I find her sympathetic

1.Pascal from Felidae

Are number one villain is also the darkest villain . Our hero Francis has stumbled upon a series of cat killings in his new neighborhood and gains a few alies to solve the case.One being Pascal who becomes Francis mentor .Pascal is a likable old cat with high inteligence(Able to use a computer ).....Who also turns out to be a killer with a 400 cat bodycount .Pascals real name is Claudandus ,experimented on by humans ,he killed the scientist responsible and has vowed to breed a race of "Supperior cats" and eventually take down man kind ,while killing those cats he views as "Undesireable" .However Claudandus has cancer and is dying and wishes for Francis to continue his work .Now I wont say Pascal is the best twist villain ,but I like that even after he turns out to be a monster his demeanor doesnt shift,he stays as a pleasent gentlecat until he goes fully murdery during the final fight .I also like that he is a pure monster....But ya know how he became that ,and he has become as monstrus if not more so then those he despises .I think the reason he is my number 1 is his final line where he admits he is pure evil and laments it "You look at me now and all you see, Francis...is evil...yet once I was...good."

This year the US show has record number of masks/celebs (18), so they are divided into 3 groups (last year it was 16 and 2 groups). And this year the show is filmed and airs differently. First the first group filmed all their episodes, then the second group, and lastly the third group (filming currently). Then only after that all remaining contestants from each group are “united” and compete against each other in the “quarter finals”. 

And they also air the episodes this way: First three episodes are group A. And since each week one mask is voted out, then in the end that leaves 3 masks standing in Group A “finale”. Then next three episodes (eps 4-6) is group B. And then next three eps (eps 7 - 9) is Group C. That means that during the first 9 episodes each group competes separately. 

Then all remaining 9 contestants (3 + 3 + 3 from each group) get together, and form one group...and the show continues as known from previous seasons. And still each week one (or in some weeks 2) masks are voted out. Til only 3 remain by the Finale episode. This means that S3 has most likely 15 episodes or so (depending on how many weeks have double-eliminations between episode 10 and The Finale)

Each costume looks kinda male or female. But you cannot judge the gender of the celeb under it by the look of the costume. If the costume is pink and/or has a dress, it’s not definitely a female celeb wearing it, though they do prefer to use pink for girls & blue for boys...so far. And if the costume is dressed in a suit, it’s not definitely a male celeb wearing it. 

Some costumes, which show the persons physique more, make it a lot easier to guess who is wearing it (their gender, their size - height & bodytype), but even then there could be curveballs thrown in there. 

I have added guesses on who I think is wearing the costume (male or female celeb) based on how much of the person can be seen under the costume. And based on whats shown in the video clips, and promo pics...the little clues about the celebs that we’ve gotten. Some of these estimates might be off. 

We know based on the little info that has come out that there is (at least) one very tall celeb in the costume (Taco, Tiger?). And we know that at least two contestants are not very tall (a bit or quite a bit shorter than the shows host, Nick C., who is 6 feet..or so = about 180cm tall). 

Regarding height: When Turtle, Miss Monster, Kangaroo & White Tiger stand next to each other, then they are in order of height with Tiger the tallest & Turtle & Miss Moster the shortest. Miss Monster is quite a bit shorter than host Nick. Robot is also shorter than host Nick. Other short or short-ish contestants include: astrounaut...

IF we assume that (like in most of the time on this format) there are equal number of male & female contestants, then... that makes the guessing based on just the costumes easier...on which one each is.

in total: 88 gold record (so at least one or a few big(ger) names from music world) EDITED on Feb 3rd:  - 12 or more...depending on which ones count here (as far as I know all or almost all of the Robot’s albums have gone Gold and/or Platinum, and he’s released over 10 albums + mixtapes etc) = 76-ish left for the remaining 17 contestants 

in total: 11 super bowl appearances (this doesn’t mean that they’ve played during SB, it also includes all apperances during SB games...like performing during half-time, ...any celeb appearance during the game/broadcast...)

in total: 3 stars in the (Hollywoood) “walk of fame” (so at least 3 big names, who have been given a star there) 

in total: 160 tattoos (this means at least a few celebs, who have a lot of tattoos, because 160 divided by 18 gives us 8-9 per person, but I’m guessing some have none/max 1, and some have more than 10)  EDITED on Feb 3rd: - 86 (the number of tattoos that Robot, the 1st mask voted out, has - his tattoos made up about half of all the tattoos) = 74 left for the ramaining 17 contestants 

in total: 1 title in the “Guinness Book of World Records”** - this one could be easy to figure out if someone took the time to check the list of record holders in those books...

** There are quite many celebs, who have been in Quinness World Record Book. It doesn’t have to really be a “real record” - it can be something like “reached 1 million followers on IG the fastest” or “took the most selfies in a limited timeframe”. Some of the famous people, who have/had in 2019 (when they were cast) or have had titles of Guinness Records include: Eminem, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Shakira, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Justin Bieber, Dolly Parton, Ozzy Obbourne, The Rock, RDJ (kinda, thanks to his fans), Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lawrence, Cristiano Ronaldo (athlete), Alex Rodriguez (athlete)

And that is basically all theyve revealed so far. Which I personally consider a plus. And I hope that theyve really upped their game, and dont make guessing so easy. For profesisonal singers among the contestants their voice alone will give them away most times (examples: Leopard, Rottweiler last season... who have such unique, well known voices). So it’s a bit more challenging for people guessing for the clues not to be so easy. Which is why I hope they really made the clues harder...like they have promised in the previews.

SPOILERS: We have knows for a little while who would be eliminated first. Because weve seen the four costumes that make it to the last epsiode of Group A (ep 3x03) - Kangaroo, Monster, Tiger, Turtle. Since the Robot was unmasked first, that means Llama will be unmasked next (on Web, Feb 5th). We know this because they always miss that they’ve included soem revealing bits in their promos (or include the pictures/clips on purpose). They accidentally included an image of the last four masks for griup A. And you can also determine who stays for how longif you pay attention to the clips - you can tell how many different performances each mask has - cause for some they include just one, for some several, and the more different songs/performances the further they make.

Harry Styles Lights Up Madison Square Garden With Pure Joy: Concert Review 

Harry Styles just might be the most joyous person on the planet. For his second sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, June 22, he effortlessly commanded the stage with more presence and charm than some artists who are double his age and have twice the experience. Clad in a blue suit, Styles rarely stopped smiling during his 90-plus-minute set as he ran through all 10 tracks from his superb self-titled solo debut (which Us Weeklynamed the best album of 2017) in addition to one megahit and two deep cuts by his former boy band, One Direction. The setlist also included a rock version of Ariana Grande’s “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart,” which Styles cowrote, as well as a rousing cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain,” two unreleased numbers and a surprise duet with his opening act, Kacey Musgraves.

Of course, the 23-year-old is no stranger to performing for tens of thousands of fans, many of them screaming teenage girls — and boy, were there plenty in attendance on Friday. During his five years with 1D, Styles’ effervescent spirit was contagious and helped his bandmates Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan come alive on stage. Hell, he even made the self-described introvert Zayn Malik (who abruptly exited the group in 2015) crack a smile here and there. These days, Styles continues to light up the room. The only thing that has changed is that his shows are more stripped back now. On his current tour, which runs until July 14, he has been performing in arenas that house less than 20,000 people, rather than the stadiums that 1D booked for upwards of 80,000 fans. The production this time around is fairly simple, and there are no costume changes, video interludes or intermissions. But the intimacy suits him.

Styles interacted with audience members numerous times during his MSG gig. As he has done at just about every concert this year, he borrowed a rainbow flag from a fan during an updated take on the 1D classic “What Makes You Beautiful” and sashayed across the stage while holding it in the air. (The Big Apple just so happens to be celebrating Pride this weekend.) Later on, he called out one woman who brought along a sign that read, “I’m with child.” It turned out that she wasn’t actually pregnant — at least not yet. “You’re trying? Well, we’re all trying. I don’t know if that permits a sign,” Styles shot back with a laugh. When another concertgoer asked about his favorite Britney Spears song, he hesitated for a second. “I find the Britney Spears back catalog to be much like the city of New York,” he replied. “There’s just too many good things to choose one.” Eventually, he settled on “Toxic.”

A true modern-day rock star, the singer-songwriter exuded confidence from the time he strutted on stage for the opening number, “Only Angel,” until he closed out the show with the rollicking “Kiwi,” which had the floor of the arena shaking as fans belted the lyrics and jumped up and down for three minutes straight. Throughout the evening, he often switched up the melodies of his own songs. And at times, he sounded even better live than on his album, in part due to the raw emotion he exhibited on folky tracks such as “Two Ghosts” and “From the Dining Table.” Two of the crowd’s clear favorites were 1D’s “Stockholm Syndrome” and the unreleased “Medicine.” Thanks to YouTube and social media, fans already knew every word to the latter, which Styles debuted during a European concert in March alongside “Anna,” another upbeat tune that had been cut from his record’s final tracklist.

The most tender moment came at the midpoint when Styles shuffled off the main stage and was escorted through the crowd (with his security team in tow) to a much smaller, blink-and-you-miss-it platform on the opposite end of the venue. He collected at least 10 bouquets of flowers from admirers along the way before tossing them over to members of his team. Once he hit the B-stage, surrounded by fans at every angle, he pulled out an acoustic guitar and serenaded everyone with his beautiful ballad “Sweet Creature” followed by the 1D fan favorite “If I Could Fly.” Another highlight came moments later when he performed his soaring lead solo single, “Sign of the Times,” back on the main stage as the audience lit up the Garden using the flashlights on their smartphones.

“Outside in the world, there is a lot of bad stuff that happens, and I could not be more honored to get to play in front of you wonderful, wonderful people for an hour and a half every single night,” he said. “[There is] just pure joy in this room, and I thank you for that because you absolutely changed my life and I couldn’t do it without you. I do it only for you. I love each and every single one of you.”

The showstopper came just before the encore when Styles welcomed Musgraves, 29, back to the stage for a duet. “We’re gonna sing one of my personal favorites, and if you know the words, please do join us,” he requested before kicking off a stunning acoustic rendition of Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One,” which they had never performed together before. The two artists, both of whom are ardent fans of the country superstar, showcased their vocal prowesses while trading verses before uniting on the dreamy chorus, making it one of the biggest treats of the night.

In the final minutes of the show, Styles made it a point to introduce his bassist Adam Prendergast, keyboardist Clare Uchima, drummer Sarah Jones and guitarist Mitch Rowland before thanking the boisterous crowd for supporting him and his new band. “I will gladly play this room anytime if you’ll have me back,” he declared.
