“Huff huff… This is taking forever! How does Tanjiro do this so fast?” Nezuo thinks to herself, leaving trails of her footprints in the snow. The wind blows through the woods, her hair threatening to come undone from the next tug. She fiddles with the strap so the basket won’t fall off, continuing to think about how much of a pain this journey is. She starts to feel pity on her older brother who walks up this hill almost every day to sell coal. “Wow Tanjiro… The patience you have is insane..”

It’s been a day since she went off down to the village to sell coal. She planned to be home by midnight but thanks to her dear neighbor, Enmu had let her rest and stay the night. Still eternally grateful for what he’s done, she mentally thanks him once again continuing up the mountain. She looks back up, out of breath like she’s ready to collapse and she notices the roof of her house just some trees away.

Finally, she reaches her stop.

Nezuko practically runs the rest of the way up to her home, smiling happily. Finally, she can rest again, finally she can talk to her family, finally she can hug them all in a tight hug, finally she can check up on their well being, finally she can do her old tasks.

She freezes, staring at the open door. It’d be fine to leave the door open, they tend to leave it open all the time it’s just… Why was it so quiet? It was… Too quiet.

“Takeo? Hanako? Tanjiro? Shigeru? Rokuta? Mom…?” Nezuko called out for their names, wandering around the outside of their house thinking all of this was just a silly game. “Perhaps they're still asleep? But Takeo doesn’t sleep late… Maybe they were worried about me? Haha, how cute!” the girl chuckles at the thought, they’ve all had those moments worrying night about each other- especially their big brother Tanjiro. 

I mean, nothing bad can go wrong right?

She goes back to the door, still open letting the cold air in. Nezuko felt uneasy, her mind kept screaming at her to run and not look back. Like what was inside her beloved house was now a nightmare. However, Nezuko doesn’t step back. She pushes her doubtful feelings away- there could be nothing awful in the house and if she's the big sister, she’ll take care of it!

My Hero Academia is Officially Ending and I'm Fucking Coping 😭

So, it was officially announced early today, June 24th, 2024, by Shueshia and mangaka, Kohei Horikoshi, that My Hero Academia/Boku no Hero Academia will officially end in 5 chapters on Chapter 430. The last chapter will be released at the beginning of August after 10 years of publication in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine if all goes well.

I woke up to this news. I'm sitting here on my laptop typing this as a way of coping tbh. On the outside, I'm numb and stunned. On the inside, I'M SCREAMING, CRYING, THROWING UP, MOURNING LIKE I LOST A LOVED ONE WTF 😭

*sigh* But, this was going to happen eventually. It was only a matter of when. When Horikoshi said that we would have more epilogue to cover, I thought "Maybe he'll give us 10 more chapters!" Turns out it is 6-7 chapters instead... In Horikoshi's defense, 6-7 chapters are much longer than what most mangaka have given us for epilogues to their stories. I'd rather have him give us 5 more chapters of an epilogue than rush it in 1-2. Plus, if possible, we could potentially get 19-20 pages per chapter which might be just enough to wrap everything up. And since final chapters of manga tend to be longer than usual, we could get extra pages in the last chapter to finish everyone's arcs and the story properly.

Still, it's so wild to see a series I have loved for years and have such a strong attachment to end as I am following it. I have been a part of many fandoms before and have stuck around them for years (Pokémon, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Breaking Bad, and many more), but it's not often that I've been there there to see a series come to it's conclusion. Sometimes that can turn out well (Breaking Bad) and other times I've seen it end badly (Supernatural; only read about it and it was not great. I bounced after season 13? and I am so sorry to the fandom). My Hero Academia is one of the very few series I will see through to the end.

I'm really coping here, honestly. I've been a fan of My Hero Academia since 2018. I first heard about the series randomly through the internet, but I didn't fully introduce myself to it until I listened to a cover of The Day on YouTube (I forget the artist, I'm so sorry). I thought the song was so cool and that led to me listening to more covers of MHA OPs (Peace Sign is still GOATed btw). This eventually led me to the manga and the anime where I became truly immersed in the series. I started reading the manga around the Joint Training Arc (I think) which was definitely an interesting time to read the manga because the chapters where so short due to Horikoshi dealing with health and I think moving conflicts at the time. It was still an enjoyable arc and enough to keep me interested in reading from the beginning. I want to say I started the anime around season 3?, but I started at the beginning and worked my way up from there. "Shoto Todoroki: Origin" was the episode that finally solidified my love for the series and is still my favorite episode of the series.

To say that MHA has an important place in my heart is an understatement. (⚠️Warning: very quick mention of suicide) I was very sad and depressed in the latter half of 2018. My life didn't feel like it was going anywhere and I was close to giving up entirely. (⚠️ ). Finding and loving MHA during that time honestly might have saved my life. As strange as it sounds, it was one of the few things that brought me genuine happiness at the time. I had something to look forward to every week and it was thrilling. I still remember debating whether Deku or Shoto was my favorite character. Shoto took the top spot in my heart, but Deku is a very close second 🩵💚.

Seeing MHA end is heartbreaking, honestly. I'm watching something I truly love come to an end. We'll still have the anime, movies, and spin-off series to keep us busy for the next few years, but the manga that started it all is coming to a close. It feels so, so surreal. God, is this how the Haikyuu fandom felt when it’s manga ended? My hope is that this fandom can be kept alive long after the series is over. The MHA fandom DEFINITELY has it's flaws, but it also has a lot of good in it too. I have seen incredible art and fanfics come from this fandom. I have laughed and hyped up some of the best moments of MHA with people who love it too. I know that the fandom is collectively mourning its end and I know we'll all cry bittersweet tears when it ends. If anything, I am glad to see Kohei Horikoshi end his momentous story on his own terms. I hope it ends up being one of the best manga endings in recent Shonen Jump like how Haikyuu's was. I think Horikoshi can do it. Regardless of how it ends, My Hero Academia will be one of my favorite pieces of fiction. I am really glad to be here to celebrate it.

Today's brainrot is about Ekko snapping when it comes to you and your safety.

Just from that look he had while fighting against Viktor, I just know he would go apeshit if anything were to happen to you. Moreso, if it has anything to do with his enemies.

Also, I think he'd have a gut feeling of things, if something's wrong, he'll know one way or another. So, when you're late by a couple minutes to be back at the hideout, alarm bells ring on his ears.

He doesn't think twice, getting back on his hoverboard and calling some backup, flying towards the bridge market where you said you'd be.

When Ekko finds your bag discarded near an alleyway, it's like he got tunnel vision, knowing exactly were to go. When he hears you screaming, he sees red.

Launching with his hoverboard towards the chembarons goons, Ekko made a strike with them, getting him time to get to you. If it wasn't for the pain of the blow you took, you'd kiss him now from how hot he looked going from beast mode to caring partner.

Ekko gets you to fly back to the base with the others, while he had his way with these scumbags in front of him. >:)

Yeah I really doubt the story would’ve been the same if it was Jamil instead of Medusa… Ironically, it would probably be the opposite for him. He wouldn’t show it, and he would act obedient and allow the person who bought him to feed him, caress his tail, hold his hands etc, but this is simply for them to let their guard down.

I think Jamil wouldn’t really consider it love, at least not in a way that Jamil would want to be loved. Being someone else’s pet/servant is dehumanising and painful to him, and the idea of his master being in love with him would make it even worse, like it’s even more insulting and hurtful that way somehow….

This is a good question, Anon! We were actually discussing it while I was drawing because really, I have no idea how old Kalim was when he got those tattoos. I thought those were tattoos, but we came to conclusion that it could be body paint in this case when Kalim was young, like henna, but white paint instead. And since some of the boys do their makeup with magic (and Jamil uses magic to braid his hair), maybe this is also the case for Kalim? Maybe this is why it’s so consistent and doesn’t smudge…

But it could also be a genuine for real forever tattoo of course! I wish we knew more about it, I really wonder what cultural significance it has and how much of it is Kalim’s own desire to have a cool tattoo. I feel like the nature of this one is different than, for example, Leona’s tattoo. But maybe I’m just assuming things.

It probably sounds like I’m being mean to Leona just for the sake of it, but I swear it’s not that, I actually find the dynamic very interesting lol Ruggie is playing it smart. There really are a lot of things he could do, and he for sure knows so much stuff about Leona (both in terms of his preferences and his weak spots), that he could use it for his advantage all the time. But he just thinks that it would be smarter not to + he really doesn’t want to. He doesn’t have as many uncontrollable urges as some of the other guys.

It’s like how he could technically steal a lot of stuff from Leona’s room but he doesn’t touch it: why get a coin now and burn that bridge when you can keep doing your thing and staying low-key, potentially reaping more benefits later?

Not completely out of the question, but we’ll have to look at Vil papa first… we have some thoughts about him, but nothing concrete yet because we haven’t seen the event he is in.

I’m 5’3 with hair just below my shoulders. I have curtain bangs that have grown out to under my chin and it used to be pink (not my whole head, it kinda looked like pink highlights!). My hair is also straight. I have brown eyes and wear glasses! I like to wear baggy clothes, so I wear a lot of sweaters and sweatpants. I’m white also (not like pale white) and I wear three bracelets every day!! Two of them are green and one is yellow that glows red under a light!! One of them says ‘stay gold’.

1 year since this unforgettable day at Star Wars Celebration 💚🥹😭

Like I look at my own videos and I still cannot believe it even a year later. The fact that I got to be there to cheer all of them on and show them some love after their work has brought me soooo much happiness was absolutely insane. Especially Ewan & Hayden, they're my faves 🫶🏼

I remember just being so sad that we couldn't get into the Kenobi panel and Hayden was scheduled to be on the live stage on the Saturday (when we didn't attend) so we really felt that the panel was our only chance of seeing him. But he didn't make it to the stage on Saturday. On Sunday, Ewan & Ashley were scheduled to be on the stage and they didn't show up at their scheduled time. The day was almost over and they were teasing that they were working really hard on getting certain people to come and say hi on the stage. Meanwhile my sister and I were debating on going to the Clone Wars quiz night panel with the voice cast present or stay at the live stage. We decided to stay at the live stage because we just didn't want to risk missing out on the potential arrival of Ewan and Ashley on the stage (& Hayden if we were lucky). And my goodness, am I glad we stayed because I would have been gutted if we had missed out on those incredible moments with them. The way I screamed when Ewan made that grand entrance, Ashley almost bringing me to tears because I just heard Ahsoka's voice, and how Hayden came out after hearing Vader's breathing and Krystina literally being so excited for Hayden to come out as well... No words 😭

Seeing Hayden literally holding back tears on that stage and being so overwhelmed by all of the love he was receiving was one of the most beautiful moments I'll ever experience. That I helped to make Hayden feel loved by this fandom is something I'll never ever get over 🥹🫠

A little part 2 drabble for no matter what 💚

“KEPA!” the screams of your daughter are world-shattering.

Aemond leaped from the bed before your eyes could open, adjusting the early morning light. You follow close behind him, eyes wide with fright. 

“Skoros emagon massitas?” Aemond asks, his voice rough from sleep (What has happened). Your daughter crouches, in front of the fireplace. She points to the middle of the fire. The logs are black with soot, embers burning like bright red eyes. 

In the middle of the charcoal, her dragon egg has fallen from its holder and cracked open. Pieces of the egg pull apart from each other, a translucent membrane the only thing holding the pieces upright. Steam rises from the shell, as liquid drips onto the logs sizzling. 

You bring a hand to your mouth, shock overcoming you. Aemond’s gaze is locked on his daughter, as she turns to stand. She faces you, violet eyes wide. You hear the creature before you see it. A soft, cooing, sound of a baby bird. Held within your daughter’s arm is a small dragon, still covered in the membrane from its egg. 

Its scales are dark and it looks up at your daughter from its resting place in her arms. The dragon begins preening, never stopping its soft coos. 

“He’s mine,” your daughter says, a wide grin stretching across her face. The dragon shakes it’s wings, stretching them. It is a small creature, happy to be held. 

You look towards your husband, who smiles, running a hand over his jaw. His lilac eye is glassy, and a proud smile breaks across his face. You bring your hand to his arm.

The dragon cries out, as though agreeing.

I am hers. 

“Sȳrī gaomagon, issa dōna hāedar,” Aemond murmurs, still in awe of his firstborn holding a dragon of her very own.

A screaming nonsensical review of Adar because I am feeling so overwhelmed and need to scream about it. First off it looked absolutely mindblowingly beautiful I cannot express it just took me back to seeing the LOTR in theatres Numenor is exquisite the boats the statues even that shot at nighttime and you could see all the lights I'm just 😍✨I loved meeting all the new characters too like Elendil Miriel and Isildur. Not one actor has disappointed they all have a presence and a depth to their performance. The harfoots are delightful and they are at once sweet and warm but also full of history and sadness too when they were talking about those they left behind. Don't get me started on Arondir and his elf friends (the orcs look incredible but I hate them lol) It was so moving when Arondir cut the last tree and it hits so hard when elves die. This show is fucking phenomenal 💚 and this post cannot express how much I love it. I just admire the attention to detail the beauty and the acting so much. Oh gosh when Galadriel said she was closer to Elrond aah 😭🥰and I love her dynamic with Halbrand. Also THAT ENDING HOLY SHIT. Anyway I'm gonna be making GIFs all weekend now that was an amazing episode the music the acting the story dialogue I am in love I have returned to Middle Earth and couldn't be happier. I'm so proud of this cast.

I have a fever and was feeling like I need to state my mind about each individual Riddler there in Batman medium. Obviously not including all of them because the comic book universe is heavily convuled.

💚 Gotham 7/10

My first ever Riddler crush, he's the one who introduced me to the Riddler rabbit hole and the reason why I watched Gotham. Love the season one counterpart because I'm a softie for tall ass dork with glasses who are inherently pathetic. But then season 2 rolled around and I find myself wanting this little bitch to submit to me because like... Nothing fills me with satisfaction than see dominant people fall to their knees in submission.

Though I absolutely hated the relationship he has like, really? Isabella? Lee? Aight before anyone of you comes at me, I love those two gals but not just WITH Eddie. Tbh I stopped watching Gotham because of school works and EdLee. Like, omg kill me.

He's barely appeared in it, but like, 👁️👅👁️ awooga I knew I've always liked them dweeby nerds. First I wasn't into his voice (cough because I have a thing for voices too) but like it grew on me and god I'd kill to hear his voice crack.

Idk why, I find it adorable when voice cracks it's just so stinken cute ugh. Like this boy sputtering out amid a conversation, flustered, can't even be coherent, then his voice cracks so he reddens more in embarrassment and cover his face?

Okay but anyways, yea I love him. Wished we had more of this little bitch. I like my men flustered and unable to talk from it, thank you very much. I want to break his pelvis by riding him and make him unable to speak and walk properly for the next few days.

This pathetic washed out sewer rat has my neck in a chokehold of love, I LOVE HIM YOUR HONOUR! JRNFNDJCJ it's just that he's so... Rat looking. Though I must say, I have my eyes in his more... Sane looking days at Origin, so fucking sassy and sarcastic and cute and adorable and pretty and look at his slappable ass.

Thoo, I just know if I were to be in a relationship with a person like him irl, I'd fucking leave at like day 3 because your girl, this girl has seen enough red flags and can't really be bothered to take care of men who treat you like trash.
