Warnings: Some nsfw stuff but nothing too far, boob grabbing, bra stealing, nudes but not rlly
A/n: I HAVE ANOTHER OBSESSION UGHHH, anyways!! I’m so happy the fandom is reviving bc of the new update ahh. Also I didn’t rlly know what to put for bc so apologies if you wanted more of him :(
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Keith (bf):
He’s such a flower sniffer istg
He’s like a rosy cheeked sweetheart who brings you heart chocolate every time he visits you
No but actually he’s wrapped around your fingers, it’s scary.
His fav dates are you and him alone at his house watching Godzilla movies and laying his head against your stomach while you play with his hair
AND YOU WEAR HIS HAT
Sometimes you’ll send a pic of you in his boxers that he left at your house just to tease him
But whenever he feels silly (which is all the time) he’ll send a picture of him in your bra for funsies
“I can do that too :D”
“0_•”
Keith is such a nerd, playing video games with him is your go to date
You guys would always match, like whenever you two play Mario kart he’d be toad and you’d be toadette
You hype him up sm, esp when playing Fortnite 😭
Y’all know that one Tik tok audio that goes
“Yeah get his ass FUCKING PUSSY TRY THE FUCK AGAIN BITCH, TRY THE FUCK AGAIII”
You do that, and it scares him.
His fav activity? Pot + cartoons.
You guys are the silliest couples ever. Laughing at SpongeBob with fog all over the room until your ribs start to hurt.
“Babes.. do you think that like-Starfires armpits are also pink?”
…woah”
Pico:
Now when pico first starting dating you he thought you were just another chick to stuff his wiener in.
But soon enough, you guys were both wrapped around each others finger.
He’d kill for you tbh
Pico canonically has abs, so he likes it whenever he’s chilling with you and you just poke/rub them. He thinks it’s the cutest AND hottest shit ever
This man cannot get enough of your boobies, whenever he’s on his phone he’d have his arm around you and casually use your boob as a stress ball.
Sometimes he’ll just steal your bras whenever you’re showering or changing, just so that he can get a fresh look at ‘his girls’ (that’s what he calls them)
“Pico!! Have you seen my bra?”
“Hm? Na babe, I’m js here.”
This sly fuckin ginger
Most of his dates consist of going to his fav burger joint or sleeping over at each others houses
He esp loves the second one cuz he gets to makeout with you, prob his fav thing to do in this life.
Whenever you guys leave any function, like ever, he’ll yell out your ship name as he leaves the room 😭
“Pi-y/n, OUT”
“Babe you don’t have to do that every time we leave..”
Also his dad (Tankmen) loves embarrassing him in front of you.
(Tankmen) “Yeah so Pico kept pissing himself in the bed until 7th grade, shit had me concerned but turns out it was just normal puberty shit.”
(You)“Oh..”
“Dad I’m gonna kill you.”
Lmao he did eventually
Darnell
Darnell has such a big ego on being a ‘cool tough guy’, but when it comes to you it entirely washes away
It embarrasses him whenever he’s around his friends and you come over and start smooching him all over his face, getting lipgloss/lipstick all over him
“Mwah mwah mwah!!”
“B-baby. Babe, you’re ruining my aura.”
But he loves showing you off, you’re like his biggest flex. Whenever he hangs with his friends he always shows pictures of you like you’re his newborn
“Yeah so this is when we went to the skate park the other week and-“
“Dude. This is like the 5th picture you’ve shown me of them.”
Once for Valentine’s Day, he surprised you by spray painting an entire wall of you smooching him. (But like in the style of the fnf stickers they sell)
You were in such awe, you almost cried.
He was so embarrassed to show you at first, but when he saw how much you loved it he was so relieved
You and Nene are such besties
Like, squealing while talking about boys besties
“HII Y/N!!! :33”
“OMG HEY NENE!! ^^”
So when she found out you had a crush on Darnell, she was so excited
You guys became delusional abt him together, like
“NENE TODAY DARNELL LOOKED AT ME”
“STOPP HE WANTS YOU SO BADD”
“IKR”
O and your weapon (cuz everyone in picos friendgroup has one) is a broken glass bottle of whatever your fav drink is
Sometimes you’ll throw in a burning rag in there to make a Molotov cocktail
Also I hc that Darnell has thick silver rings and you love how they feel against your neck whenever you guys are smooching.
He lets you wear them at times but they always slip off because our boy has some THICK fingers.

𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐕𝐄.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is a repost from my old blog. original post was 934 notes.
pairing(s): steve harrington x female!reader
words: 1529
warnings/tags: female!reader, pining colleagues, pet names.
Tumblr media
steve was counting the notes from the cash register in family video when he first heard your voice, a small ‘hi’ from the other side of the counter. and while it wasn’t directed towards him, his head snapped to the side to catch a glimpse of you, and my god.
he watched as you smiled at robin who tears her glance away from her doodles against the notepad on the table and towards you, “hi there, can i help you with anything?” robin asked kindly and steve knew she was probably just as flustered as he was at the moment.
“i—uh, yes. i’m actually meant to start working here today…” you trail off nervously causing robin to grin, “oh you’re y/n? keith said you’d stop by!” robin replies, quickly tearing her glance from you and to look at steve behind her as they share a knowing look.
his hands have frozen in counting the money, it could have been ten bucks or a hundred, he was far from caring at this moment. therefore, he stuffs the notes back in the register and wipes his clammy palms against the material of his jeans before fixing his hair, quickly, in case robin noticed him and most likely outwardly teased him in front of you.
“let me show you around! my names robin, by the way,” robin was enthusiastic, turning around to walk around the counter as she begins to converse but steve jumps forward, hand stopping robin as he smiles towards you, “i can show her around, you’re front desk robin, remember?”.
robin’s eyebrows furrow with a glare following, “then you can just jump on—?” before she can continue, steve is interjecting, “—i insist, robin,” he replies with a help-me-out-here look.
robin nods with an eye roll, grudgingly moving back to her seat by the desk and uses her pen to point towards steve, “the dingus will see you now.” you look over at his dorky smile, his folded arms falling as he quickly moves out from the counter and towards you, outstretching his hand to shake yours, “steve, i’m steve harrington,” he points towards his name badge, and you giggle, “i’m y/n.”
“pretty name for a pretty girl, are you new in town?” he asks, leaning his elbow on the counter to the side as he speaks to you, robin’s eyes following as she watches steve’s lame attempts at flirting. however, from your expressions and giggling, it seems to be working.
“yes i am, moved a couple of weeks back, my cousins live here and needed a roommate,” steve nods along intently, “no college or anything?” he asks, “not yet, i took a year out after graduating school so i’ll probably apply to places near here when the time comes.” your smile quirks when he continues to nod, finding him increasingly cute and charmingly flirty.
“what about you?” you ask, causing his mouth to agape slightly in thought of what to say, “i mean— yeah, that’s basically what i’m doing; a good, swift break before going to college,” he leans further against his elbow and you can’t help but notice the blush arise in his cheeks when robin mutters under her breath and against the palm of her hand, “that’s a pretty long break, harrington.”
he clears his throat awkwardly, “there’s always time.” you nod to his statement in agreement but before you can respond, robin interjects once more leaning up to push steve's elbow from the counter and nearly sends him falling, “enough chit-chatting, don’t want keith to find out you’ve been flirting with y/n instead of teaching her the ways, do you?”.
“robin!” steve bickers back, turning away from you as his eyes widen to his best friend, utterly ashamed, “well, it’s true, you’re practically—”, “stop talking.” he sighs, trying to compose himself as he turns back towards you, “anyways, let me show you around before you start, y/n.” he goes to guide to towards the sections to one side, sending a warning glare to robin when he hears her mock his words in a low-pitched voice, yet pretending he couldn’t hear her when he turns to you.
showing you across the sections, he tries his best to pretend he’s knowledgeable and an expert at his job but given the fact he states that ‘sylvester stallone was great in breakfast club’, you thought it was safe to believe that he wasn’t. he shows you over the sections, flirty one-liners and wrong comments about the movies cause you to uncontrollably giggle beside him throughout the tour.
steve was trying, and it was unbelievably cute to watch. his big doe-y brown eyes scanning your features as a few of his light brown locks poke against his forehead, he was handsome — and also had massive arms you couldn’t help stare at whenever he pointed towards something.
“right through here,” steve murmurs while lifting the partition by the counter before allowing you to step through, he leans close to robin while you do so, “she’s been laughing at everything i say, i think there’s a chance here.”
“…a chance that she’s laughing at you? yeah, massive chance, little stevie” robin quips, turning to him with a teasing glare as he pulls back before stepping through the open partition himself. “twelve o’clock buckley, go assist the customer, i’m busy here,” steve speaks, loud enough for you to hear as he nods towards the front door where a new customer walks in.
she grunts, pointing at him warningly as she moves from her seat to leave the area, “you owe me one, dingus.” he just turns back to you with an aloof smile, “i notice not a lot of customer’s, huh?” you ask him, glancing at the nearly empty store, employees outweighing the number of customers.
“nah small town, but it’s all good, means you don’t need to do much,” steve folds his arms, hip nudging against the counter as he sends you a lopsided smile which was hard not to melt over. “does it not get boring?” you ask, “not if you’re on shift with me, sweetheart.”
you shake your head with a quick smile before he continues, “speaking of, let me just grab your schedule for this week,” he’s curious as he collects it from the back wall, steve and robin’s missing as they checked over theirs merely hours ago.
standing beside him, you ignored the feeling of his warm skin of his arm against yours as you tried to look over the weeks schedule. steve held it with one hand while his pointer finger grazed over the times curiously, a crease between his eyebrow while he analysed.
“that’s perfect! you’re on with me all week, you’ll be an expert by this saturday,” he enthuses, quickly turning over to grab his schedule laid messily across the pile of paper on the desk before holding his beside for comparison.
you tried to ignore the tug in your heart at how happy steve sounded to be on shift with you, only an hour or so of meeting each other and he was by far the most interesting person you’ve met in this town. maybe anywhere. “can’t wait,” you replied as coolly as possible.
steve passes you your own schedule while you move back to your previous spot, “do you live nearby?” steve asks you suddenly. “yeah, just ten minutes over, near the old mall?” steve nods, it was a small town of course he knew where you meant. “if you give me your address, i mean if you don’t mind, i could drive you to work? i already drive that idiot back there, and she’s probably near the same shifts as us,” he nods to robin over by the action section.
“if you’re okay with that, you don’t have to though i can—“, “i offered, sweetheart. course i don’t mind,” steve grins when you nod once again with a quiet ‘thank you’ trying to hide your giggle at his dorky nature. steve licking his lips slightly before returning to his charming grin, “no worries, pretty.”
you look down to the couple of body moles peaking from the collar of his shirt as you avert his eye contact in an attempt at hiding your smile, not noticing the way steve’s eyes gleamed at you. he was used to hitting on people upon first introductions but nothing like this, he’s never felt a flurry of dizziness quite like he did from his first glance towards you.
and it was addicting, inviting even.
then he knew, it was official, he was a goner. he realised this as he stared at your face, soft cheeks contracting as you smile lowly and he can tell you’re forcing it down as you look behind you and at the equipment behind the counter, “teach me more of the family video ways, steve.”
steve hoped he seemed cool and collected to you, because anytime you spoke to him, or smiled… or even looked at him, his mind went foggy and tried to hold back from completely breaking down. “buckle-up, buttercup,” steve replies while gesturing towards the chunky computer system.
yeah, you could definitely get used to this.

the art of tending
Keith has a lot of scars. Some are more visible than others, but Lance makes sure each one receives the proper care that it requires. In the morning, as he sweeps into the kitchen with languid stretching, he slides up to the counter beside his love. Ever the early-riser, Keith smiles at him as he scrambles eggs.
“Good morning, Lance.” Keith isn’t one for pet names, which never matters— the way he says Lance is enough. It echoes in the crisp morning air, traveling out through the ajar windows.
It’s too early for words, so Lance cradles Keith’s jawline in his hand. He relishes in the feeling of his wedding band pressing softly against Keith’s scarred cheek for a moment before pressing a kiss into its slight ridges. His husband hums, content.
They linger in mornings, now. And both of them are endlessly thankful for the ability to wake up slowly, together.
Throughout their days on Earth, teaching occupies a large sum of their time. The students at the Garrison are brilliant. Lance has a fondness for one girl in particular, a 16-year-old named Vidhi who loves the simulator and loves pranks even more. He scolds her, of course, in an attempt to not be obvious with his favorites. Still, she knows that she can always come to him. It’s a source of pride for Lance.
As wonderful as they are, they can also be… challenging. Lance is grading papers when Keith storms into his empty classroom at lunchtime. He throws himself into the chair opposite Lance with a drawn-out huff, dramatically leaning forward on the desk.
“Carlo, again?” Lance doesn’t even look up, continuing to work.
“He’s skipping math. I asked him about it, and he said that he’d rather fly, and that he doesn’t like the other kids. In less polite words,” Keith explains, balling up his hand in a fist. “I want to be there for him, I do, but he isn’t ever there for himself. It’s so—“
“Oh, Keith,” Lance clucks his tongue, drawing a glare out of his beloved.
“Don’t do that,” Keith complains. “Just say what you have to say.”
“Carlo is a trouble kid right? Always does what he wants? Kinda a lone wolf?” Lance levels an unimpressed look at Keith.
“Yeah?” Keith raises an eyebrow, clearly confused and frustrated.
“So, he’s like you, babe.” A range of emotions flash over Keith’s face. Indignation morphs into thoughtfulness before settling on realization.
“Oh, shit.” He pushes back his bangs, eyes wide, and looks down at his hands with panic. “How am I supposed to even start with him? He’ll see right through me, and I am not equipped to handle an emotionally unstable kid. This is a horrible—“
Lance grabs Keith’s hand, forcing him to meet his eyes. “This is a wonderful idea. Who better to help him than a person who understands him? Who will treat him like an equal?”
“I don’t know where to begin, Lance,” Keith whispers. Lance rubs his thumb over Keith’s knuckles.
“Yes, you do.” He uses his free hand to turn around the frame on his desk. In it is a picture of the team, all smiling proudly while hugging one another. Lance taps the photo.
“Shiro.” Keith follows his gesture, grabbing the photo and looking at it contemplatively.
“Shiro,” Lance agrees, watching him take that information in. “You don’t have to be perfect, red. God knows Shiro wasn’t— he was just as young as we are now— but if you can do what he did for you… that’s powerful stuff.”
“Yeah,” Keith mumbles, glancing back up at Lance. “Okay, yeah. I can try.”
“I know this is hard,” Lance tells him. “There is no other person who could do this for Carlo, Keith. Not a one. You’ve got everything you need, and if you ever need help, you can always call him. You lived it first. Now pass it on.”
Keith stands abruptly and places the frame down on Lance’s desk, determination set into every muscle of his frame. “I’ll talk to him.” He swivels on his foot, turning to fast-walk out.
“Up-bup-bup! You’re forgetting something!” Lance calls over.
“Oh, yeah.” Keith grins, spins back to his partner, and draws him up into a kiss. It’s as grateful as it is fleeting.
It leaves Lance’s heart fizzing with energy as Keith dashes out, adding a new pep to his grading. Lance is always relieved when he can soothe the pain from Keith’s oldest scars, the ones on his mind.
Eventually, when they turn in for the night, Keith will wince at the pull of his aching muscles. He’ll twist in their bed, trying to get comfortable until Lance finally gestures for him to move in front. Then, with quiet and calming hands, Lance will rub out the soreness from a long day of training and hard work. He makes sure to gently pull aside Keith’s long hair when necessary, lets his fingers skirt over the hard lines of Keith’s back.
Keith will lean into his touch, as always. They’ll talk, voices long and low, about everything. Their classes. Hearing from teammates. A hard workout. An annoying call from family. Even, in their most difficult moments, they might mention missing some aspects of the war.
Those kinds of discussions are only reserved for nighttime. When the air from the windows is chilled, the stars are up instead of around, and Lance’s hands are tracing lines across Keith’s ribs and his shoulders. He maps out every scar from memory, pulls out every memory from each scar.
Over time, Lance will lose his ability to speak, capable of just monosyllabic words.
Keith will notice. He can never stop noticing. His eyes will wander over his shoulder, see his husband’s lids droop, and, with the grace of a much less rugged man, will ease Lance slowly to lie down.
In a matter of seconds, Keith will wrap around Lance. They’ll close their eyes, limbs tangled, hearts thudding slowly in time.
No “I love you” needs to be said when every action, every tender caress and guiding word, leads them to the same place day after day.

Heard you wanted requests? Hmm…how about Keith Kogane?(from Voltron it’s been a while since I watched) X reader where the reader is like his emotion support buddy on missions. And there was a mission were he snapped at the team and reader follows him to help him cool off. Just some nice snuggles between crushes/lovers as reader helps him work through and validate his emotions. can’t think of anything good right now but I’ll get back to you if I do

YOUR LOVE
keith kogane x gn!reader
[your love - she wants revenge]
Tumblr media
Keith can never remember when ‘Keith’ became ‘Keith and [Y/N]’. Any mission he was sent on, you came with, this bubbly little human who always managed to get a grin out of the big, scary emo.
At first, hearing you being so positive and optimistic about all the stressful missions made him scowl your way. But then he learned about you and you learned about him.
He noticed small things about you. Your hair can’t be in your face when talking about missions, it overwhelms you, you start to breathe heavier when a mission goes tits up.
He keeps hair ties on his wrist for when you’re overwhelmed and reassures you when he notices your quietness over the comms while in your lions.
And you do the same for him.
Except, when he’s overwhelmed he’s not so quiet. When it’s all too much so is everyone, he needs to be alone as his vision goes red.
The paladins all stand in the castle, making up a plan to overcome the one that just had failed. All talk of this new plan went in one ear and out the other, you noticed Keith’s zoned out eyes, stepping closer to him.
Lance was the one to blow the fuse, “I think Keith is gonna blow this for us…” He side-eyes Keith.
“Oh, Lance, enough!” Keith belts, “I’m sick of this, all you do is annoy me or blame me, just keep your mouth shut for once!”
“Keith,” Shiro starts, arms crossed.
“No, Shiro!” Keith turns to him, he opens his mouth to go on another rant but nothing comes out. “I just need to take a breather.”
He wastes no time on getting out of the room and into his own room, still a mess from when he forced himself out of bed in the morning.
His head feels heavy, thumping in anger and shame.
“Keith?”
He didn’t look up, just moved his eyes, and there you were.
“Hey..” he manages a whisper.
You smile at him what that smile, it makes him melt, feeling his tense shoulders relaxing.
He finally lifts his head as you take a seat next to him, you don’t speak, only offering a hand to him.
Keith takes it, time and time again he’ll never decline your hand. You keep your eyes forward, he can’t pull his from your face. You don’t expect answers of his behaviour, you wait, you always do. Always will.
“I think I’m just tired,” He manages to say, pulling his eyes from counting the faint freckles on your left check.
“It’s okay to get upset, Keith. You don’t have to use tired as an excuse,” You finally look at him, with eyes that warm his being.
“It’s normal to get overwhelmed and blow up. It’s your way of showing your emotions.” You smile and look back to the slight crack in the wall you were staring at before.
“Yeah,” he sighs, he scratches at his neck, never letting go of your hand, wishing there was a simple way he could show his emotions for you.
And little did he know, you were wishing the same.

A few random headcanons about Attack on Titan characters that make sense in my mind (even if some are truly random idk):
Levi – In terms of his personal appearance and grooming, we can say that he is canonically very attentive to it. I picture him being very meticulous when it comes to his nails and especially shaving his face. In his free time, he still visits the Underground and brings basic necessities to children and families. On the Surface, he always helps, if he can, homeless people. After the war and once he became a retired veteran, he began to smoke even though it repulsed him. It was, however, a great way to calm his nerves.
Erwin — There were stray cats wandering around the backyard of the headquarters and he fed them regularly, to the point they started to settle there and became a feline colony. Hange, Moblit and Miche may have or have not helped him. A man that every single woman wanted to marry, or would have wanted as a son-in-law. He was tempted to let his facial hair grow, when he let it grow after he lost an arm, but at the end decided against it.
Moblit — He always reminded me of Armin, and just like him, he would probably spend hours inside the library to read while drinking tea. A very calm and quiet guy, well liked by the ladies as well, though he never felt like they would be interested in him. A morning guy who would like bread with butter and cherry jam for breakfast.
Hange — Has read "The Metamorphosis" by Kafka and asked themselves for weeks if the protagonist was a big roach or a small roach. Sleep talks, learned how to fix things by themselves even though it would end up with them having at least one small cut. Likes spicy food but regrets eating it every single time.
Miche — Very much into trekking, walking in the countryside, camping and all that stuff. Cooking meat on a fire in the middle of a forest, fishing with bare hands, hunting but only to feed himself. I can see that he's one who would build a birdhouse and replenish it with food periodically.
Nanaba — At least two Scouts told her that she was the perfect combination of Erwin (she's blonde with blue eyes) and Levi (her haircut and features). A big flirt with women, if a man is annoying a lady at the tavern she would step up no matter if the said guy is twice her size.
Oluo — His haircut is clearly an attempt to copy Levi's own. He said, to himself, "Nanaba has a similar one, I can do it" and ended up with... that. He also tried to hold teacups like Levi does, but they slipped from his fingers. He broke three of them in the span of a few weeks.
Petra — Massive dog lover, especially those small chihuahuas with big ears and a fluffy body. If Birkenstock were a thing in Paradis, she would've owned a green pair.
Pyxis — As a young man, he had tons of women around him. A flirt but not to the point he would cheat on his wife (since he's canonically married). And when he still had hair on his head, he was clearly blonde.
Keith Shadis — A massive Jägerbomb and Jägermeister drinker. He smoked cigars to unwind as he took breaks from his paperwork, and since he didn't want his subordinates to know that he smoked, he blamed that it was someone else smoking near him. Also–stay with me on this, he gives me massive Egyptian vibes. If he was from outside the walls, that is.
Nile Dok — He has the aura of someone who despite living in Karanes, he faked a posh accent at some point so people wouldn't say that he was from that part of Wall Rose. Having a wife and daughters, he understood women pretty well but would say "Yeah, and I have a bi-cycle" when Marie would get her period. You got that? Marie had her cycle and Nile had a bi-cycle... dad jokes would be his thing
Dhalis Zachary — Remember that chair of his? He probably would enjoy splatter horror movies. The human centipede
Theo Magath — A guy who has a sweet tooth. Likes dark chocolate and butter biscuits with his black coffee. People at the Warriors Headquarters–Porco–bothered him to kill the cockroaches that entered the bathroom when summertime arrived.
General Calvi — An Italian surname, which makes me headcanon him as Italian. Picture him as "Saverio Giovanni Calvi" (I went with old Italian male names), and for his political party, he was a Marleyan who hated Eldians. I don't think I have to add anything else to this.
Niccolò — If we have to keep in mind that he was from Marley and hated Paradisians and Eldians, he reminds me of a person from Northern Italy that hates the South and calls them terroni uncultured and unmannered. In Paradis, after the war and after he realized he was no better than the islanders, taught himself how to cook the typical dishes, especially the venison that Sasha's father would hunt for his restaurant. Likes old Italian movies and he isn't fond of cooking dessert.
Reiner — Likes to water plans at the Warriors Headquarters and helps the staff members to clean up if he can. Takes sleeping drops and wanted to learn to play guitar, at some point. Despite the fact that people think he is in love with Historia, I think he loves her like gays love Lady Gaga.
Bring me the horizon Bertholdt — Tried to eat sand as a kid to see if it tasted like breadcrumbs. It didn't. He spent hours building a sandcastle until Porco destroyed it, along with his brother Marcel. Reiner helped him build it back, along with Pieck and an older Zeke. Likes to eat ice cream alone, at the park, and was a good student.
Annie Liked to hit little boys as a kid, especially when they would tug on Pieck's hair and call her names. One day, she slapped a boy so hard, his glasses flew away. No, that wasn't Zeke.
Pieck — Massive caffeine addict, but she's now numb to it and can sleep even if she drinks four cups a day and gives her the shits. Likes nightgowns and always has well manicured fingernails.
Porco — One of those guys that act like big shots but a "your mama" joke is enough to shut them up. And whenever he teases someone and that person has a better comeback, he grumbles and leaves.
Zeke — If he has time, he helps the local animal shelters in Liberio. Has books about dinosaurs, and he was obsessed with them as a kid. Also a child who went to the supermarket and he put the products back in their place if other customers grabbed them and left in another spot–the label HAS to face him.
Sasha — As a Southern girlie, she knew every single folk dance and song, and she invited her friends at least once to the village festivals in Dauper.
Jean — When in season 4 we see him with facial hair and longer hair, it took him forever to grow them out. At some point, Connie teased him saying that he must've glued a rat on his head, and Jean slapped the back of his neck.
Connie — Sneaks out of his room to have a midnight snack but he's so loud, he wakes the entire headquarters up. Hange doesn't have the guts to send him back to bed, but Levi surely does. His real name? Constantine.
Armin — A guy that claims to love nature but the moment an insect lands on his shirt, he would pass out. Cockroaches, dragonflies, crickets, grasshoppers. You name it. But he likes bunnies–the reason why he never ate rabbit meat, if served. Politely declining and saying that it upsets his stomach. After the war, he embraced veganism or vegetarianism.
Mikasa — We know that she liked ice cream once she tried it in Marley, and I would say she likes black cherry one, lemon, vanilla and peach, but her weakness would be berries. Likes to take walks, alone, and if she goes to the cemetery to bring flowers to Sasha and she finds a tomb without flowers, she personally plucks a few and offers them to these poor souls.
Eren — He likes to go for walks by the sea, and he always carries bread with him to offer to the seagulls. When they pooped on his shirt, he got annoyed and stopped for a while. Also tried to throw stones and seashells at them to take revenge of that.
Historia — As a Queen, she tends to sleeps late. She doesn't care and she sleeps in, if she could. Still visits the orphanages, and once her daughter was old enough, she brought her to play with those kids to teach her inclusivity and equality.
Ymir — During her time as a Scout, she would be having massive fights with Oluo. She couldn't help it. She hated his ass, and if it wasn't for Historia, she would've beat him up. But she would find Nanaba to be bearable, and even Petra—as harmless as she was.
Yelena — Let me hold your hand when I say: her deep voice with a Russian accent. A woman who doesn't like to shave, a big and massive lesbian. If she didn't enlist in the Marleyan troops, she would've been a Marine.
Onyankopon — A true gentleman, ladies loved him in Marley. He's religious, but after the Rumbling, I feel like he lost his faith for a lot of reasons. Though, before the war, he was usually going to church every now and then and he did volunteer work.
Gabi — Have you seen the scene where she basically suplexed Falco? If she kicked or punched a few Marleyan soldiers that were calling her "midget", it wouldn't surprise me.
Falco — A good kid at school, always polite and respectful. The one who prevented Gabi from talking back to teachers, and even to Magath.
Onyankopon — Has an entire journal filled with labels of the teas he tries—but also herbal teas. He loves collecting and started as a child with coins and bottle caps. If he doesn't know what to say during a conversation, he would chuckle and go, "It's cold/hot today, isn't it?" even though it isn't. Plus, he gives me massive Englishman vibes—can't decide if he's a Londoner or from the North.
Willy Tybur — Has five kids, loves his wife but he slept around. 100%. Due to the influence he had in Marley and the fact that no one could go against him, if he left his illegitimate children, the women couldn't say anything about it.
Grisha Jaeger — Kept a journal where he scribbled his memories from Marley, so he wouldn't forget them. Also, bad at cooking. He tried once and almost burned the kitchen down.
Carla Jaeger — When she was a waitress, she always had the attention of both men and women. And since she wore lipstick, I can see that she would always be very fond of makeup. Complimenting the other women for their appearances–to flirt or not, that was up to one's interpretation.
Kenny Ackerman — If classic rock was a thing, he would've been a diehard fan of rock bands. He was a chain-smoker, liked to drink intense liquors and never got tipsy right away. Has a Southern accent, never been religious, but a fervid supporter of "the end justifies the means". When he became the legal guardian of Levi and he would soil the bed, he would walk out of the house to calm himself down and not yell at him.
Kuchel Ackerman — A woman that was very refined and elegant. I can see her having books about romance, with fantasy settings. She's the one who taught Levi how to properly handle his personal hygiene, a reason why his clients liked her–she was very well kept. She secretly smoked.
Furlan — A guy that attracted his fair share of ladies in the Underground. Always have a part of his food to Isabel, liked to brush her hair and retrieve knick-knacks she would like, and that she ended up losing.
Isabel — Another cat fan. She went around the Underground to feed the stray cats, and she had brought one back home, to the place she shared with Levi and Furlan. It didn't last much, due to Levi not liking cat hair around the place, but she secretly kept it in her room. They knew due to the smell of cat and the tiny mewls at night.
Hitch — One of the most liked girls in her branch of the Military Police. She had at least one date each week, dated a few guys. She also had a flirt with a girl, and she had to admit that it was something she couldn't ignore. Blunt and straightforward enough to be men's worst nightmare.
Floch — No surprise when we say that he would be a big misogynist. Preaching about women finding fulfillment if they got married and had kids. A guy who would laugh if your pet dies because "it's just a dog/cat/whatever it is", but he's a pathetic yearner if he falls in love. The thing is, more than half of the women he was interested in didn't give a damn about him.
Sorry if it's a bit too long and if I missed any character but I was bored and here's the result of that ★

LINEAGE (PART THIRTEEN)
I didn't really want to go on the college visit trip at first. I told myself there was too much to do at home. I had to Brade look after 5 boys. Junior was pretty independent by then, but the twins were entering their terrible twos, and Ev and Keith were both impatient with two crying brothers throwing temper tantrums. Since Brade took care of a lot of the domestic duties, I looked after general household stuff, handled car repairs, that kind of thing. Plus work hours were stressful.
The deeper reason was that Brade and I were having an amazing honeymoon stretch of sex. The triplets news scared us, Braden particularly, but it made us excited for growing the family, really growing it. And the amplification of the pregnancy made us both crazy horny. I had to explain to Junior why I wasn't having sex with him as much, but he understood, even without me telling him. I was kind of scared to ask if he was still dicking Tim Carson, his baby daddy, or had gone on to another man.
But the minute I mentioned the idea of a college visit trip to Junior, I knew we had to go. My son-boyfriend was so thrilled for some one-on-one Dad time. And I know he was looking forward to college, to that next step in adulthood, and to playing golf for a well-ranked team.
So I took three days off from work and had my office secretary make my travel arrangements. The best golf schools were in warmer places, so that meant a couple of flights and some car rentals.
Braden hadn't begun to show - it was only a month since we found out - but I swore his muscular body was a little beefier when he hugged me good bye early in the morning.
"Dad... I want you to trust Junior," he said, in a "I know I'm your son but listen to me for a change" kind of way.
"What do you mean?" I asked. He seemed to have something in mind.
He shrugged. "I know you kind of want to pick his school for him. But let Bill find his own way." This was me and Brade's younger dynamic coming back. Me being a controlling Dad, Brade rebelling.
I was still stubborn. "I gotta think about tuition, Brade."
My husband was having none of it. "Junior can think about that, too. Trust him, Dad. OK?"
"OK," I said, to get him off my case.
The flight was early and Junior and I both dozed on the way. Before I knew it, we'd landed and were taxing to the airport. "I'm glad we're going to be on time," Junior said. He'd made all the arrangements with the schools. Golf coaches, athletics staff and general campus tours. Brade was right, if there was any high school senior you could count on for being practically minded it was Bill Jr.
That first day was a rush. At one point, I let Junior have his talks with the coach and walked around campus. It felt weird being here as a 60 year old man. Like time had flown by since I was in college. It had. I was fighting old age big time, hitting the gym as much as Brade and Junior and getting on a real health kick. If it wasn't Todd Fiedler showing me up, it was my own son partners inspiring me to be an in-shape hot DILF.
I envied Junior. He'd have the fun in school I didn't. I had spent my college years cracking books and working full time and raising Braden in a loveless marriage. It was a sacrifice I'd do again in a heartbeat, but damn the college bros walking around looked happy and carefree.
I called in to check in on Braden. I told my husband the visit was going well so far, and that Junior seemed to be enjoying the place. Braden caught me up with things going on at home. Evan and Keith were fighting over something. We'd gathered that puberty had hit Evan, and he was all of a sudden too cool to spend time with his little brother.
"It's always something, Dad," Brade laughed in the phone.
"Well, I'll let you have some alone time next weekend."
"Sounds awesome," my husband said.
Junior was in a great mood when I met up with him again. Beaming, unable to stop talking, just talking it all in. That's when I was really glad I'd done this trip. Stopped overthinking. Over dinner, my son filled me in, but also was weighing pros and cons.
"We'll have to see how Auburn is," he said thoughtfully as he finished up the french fries remaining on his plate. "Sometime places sound better on paper than in reality."
I had to laugh at his confidence.
"What?" he asked.
"I don't know, Junior.. it's just great to see you really excited about this."
"Am I not normally excited?"
"You're a hard worker," I said. "But that's different than excitement." I paused, though. "I can think of one particular exception that comes to mind."
Junior got my drift. He got a smirk on his face. "I bet you can, Dad.... I want you to show me how to be a hard worker for that, too."
God help me, I was getting hard in my jeans in the restaurant.
Junior could tell and he laughed. "That get to you, old man?"
I nodded. "You have a knack for that, buddy."
He looked around. We had to be careful with this game we were playing, but there was nothing incriminating in our conversation. "Payback for all the times you did that to me."
"All right," I whispered. "Least sexy things we can think of. Lima beans... your turn."
It took him a second to figure out what I was doing, then he chimed in. "Murdered puppies."
"Jesus, Junior!" I gasped.
"What? You told me... Sorry"
It didn't matter. My hardon had gone down, so the game had worked.
I paid the bill and we drove to check into the hotel. The room was air conditioned and cold as whiz as we stepped in and set down our bags. "I don't know what there is to do in this town, but if you want to check out the main drag.."
Instead, though, Junior was taking off his ball cap and tugging at the hem of his polo shirt to peel it off. "I just wanna stay in with you, if that's OK, Dad."
"Yeah, buddy, that's more than OK," I said with a smile. I removed my watch and kicked off my sneakers.
Junior was removing his shoes, eyes on me. I don't know how but his build had gotten more jacked over the last month. Junior had confessed to me he was going for that Brooks Koepka build, and while he had a ways to go, I had no doubt he'd get there, even with his extra height. "I want some incest time," he said, his teen voice getting that horny edge.
"Been awhile, kiddo. Sorry."
"Dad's House Rule Number One," he said. Daddy comes first.
Then I watched Junior peel down his jeans and underwear. That beautiful cock fell out. The one that had fucked Brade so well. The one that had already fathered one kid and undoubtedly would another eventually.
By the time I fully stripped down my prick was rock hard and standing up.
"Let's take our time, kiddo," I said as our naked bodies connected in bed. I pulled up the sheet to let us warm each other up.
"Sounds great to me, Dad. I fucking missed this."
"I won't lie, Junior, I missed this, too." I reached down to cup my hands around his hard golf-jock ass. Powerful and smooth, I could see Junior's smile as he in turn felt up my chest.
"You're an ass man, too, huh, Dad?"
"Pretty much," I said. "Doesn't hurt that my oldest sons have incredible asses."
Junior nodded. "Daddy's ass is off the charts. Big fucking round muscle ass."
It turned me on to hear Junior talk crudely about his daddy. "I'm a lucky man," I agreed.
Junior's hand moved to tease my nipple. "Daddy's pretty lucky too. Married to his father."
We were walking a delicate line here. Junior and I were clearly in our infatuated phase, but it was important not to rush into something too fast. "Incest marriage, buddy," I said, lust in my voice.
"So fucking hot, Dad. Did you propose to your son? Get down on one knee?"
I nodded. "I did, buddy. Braden was back from deployment and I knew my own son was the man of my life."
"Oh fuck..." I could feel Junior's cock twitch against mine. I loved the proximity and the intimacy.
"I love that we can talk like this, Junior."
"Shit, Dad, you have no idea. I love being your incest boyfriend."
I smirked. "Showing my kid colleges during the day, and getting naked with him every night."
"Yessir." His hand traveled down and wrapped around my hard prick.
"Feels nice, kiddo," I hissed. As much as I was loving this take it slow approach, I was starting to get really turned on.
Junior cracked a knowing grin and started slow stroking me. "Big fucking dad cock," he said. My second son was starting to get the knack of sex talk. Matching mine but with his own take. "It fucking put triplets into Daddy."
"You liked watching that, Junior?"
"Hell yeah. You're a fucking bull breeder, Dad." He gripped my dick a little more firmly then looked back up into my eyes. "I wanna learn from you, Dad."
I gulped. "Seems like you already got a pretty good start on knocking guys up."
I loved that proud smile on Junior's face, even as it made me apprehensive. My boyfriend LOVED the idea of making another man pregnant. I mean, I did, too, but I'd channeled that into making a family with Braden.
"I don't know, Dad... I mean, FUCK, I want to father a bunch of sons. Like you."
"Junior..." I said. Objecting, but also turned on.
"I know, Dad. I'm too young. But honestly," he said, getting a little bit of a defiant tone. "That's not what's stopping me."
I tried to suppress my Dad response. I needed to treat my son-boyfriend more like a boyfriend. "What is, Son?"
Without missing a heartbeat, he said. "You, Dad. You know I'm in fucking love with you, right?"
"Yeah, Son, I know." I gripped his ass playfully. "I'm in love with you, too." So much for the cautious approach.
"Like the way you love Daddy?" he asked. God, Junior seemed so open and vulnerable now. One second cocky, the next second THIS. I could chalk that up to teen hormones.
"Like the way I loved him when he was your age. Love evolves over a marriage."
"That's way cool, Dad," Junior said. "Thanks for sharing."
"We gotta feel this out, Junior."
I thought he'd be chastised but instead he nodded like an eager puppy. "Yeah, but that's the fun part, right? You're my first boyfriend, Dad. I'm enjoying every single first with you."
There was something about his tone that made me think there was something behind those words.
"Junior... you're not..."
He got a nervous laugh. "I've been thinking about it, Dad. A lot." He felt my cock twitch in his hand. "You like the idea, Dad," he observed.
"I do, buddy," I hissed. "But I'm not gonna push that on you."
My son was slow stroking me now. "You're not pushing anything, Dad. I think it would be incredible to lose my virginity to you."
"Please let go of my cock, Son," I hissed.
That got a real laugh from my son. "Quick trigger, Dad?" he teased.
I leaned in for a kiss. We didn't go deep, but Junior seemed to love the gentle tongue battling before we settled in on a classic French kiss.
I patted his bare ass beneath the sheets and pulled back. "When we get home, kiddo... if you're still up for it, we'll find the time."
"To break me in?" Junior asked. He knew how to talk in a way to get me fired up in lust but I think he just had a powerful sexual imagination himself.
"To break you in, stud," I replied. "If that's what you want."
He nodded, and bit his lip nervously. "Um, maybe we don't have to wait till we get back home, Dad?"
I gulped. "You pack some condoms, kiddo?"
Junior shook his head. "If we do it, Dad, I don't want anything between us... but Daddy gave me some birth control, and I've been taking the pills for a week now."
I'll be damned. THAT's what Braden meant when he talked about trusting Junior.
I smiled. Junior smiled in returned. Relief, excitement, and pure affection playing out on his face.
"You planned this, buddy?"
"Let's just say I hoped for it, Dad. Seriously, I've been thinking about this for SO fuckin long. And seeing how much Daddy enjoyed it when you fucked him..."
"Why don't we make a deal, Son?" I asked, my hands now moving up and down his bare flank. Solid and yet lean at 18.
"What, Dad?"
"You let me eat you out first."
Junior laughed he pulled off the covers and flipped onto his belly.
"I take it that's a yes," I chuckled, my hand already running up Junior's strong hamstring muscle to that round ass.
"That's a yes, Dad. I love how you've taken to rimming."
"Your Daddy doesn't get into it as much. I figured I didn't either," I said. my fingers traveled deeper into the crack. Junior hiked his golf jock ass up into my hand, eagerly.
"Go for it, Dad. Get a taste."
I settled in, my hands on his smooth buns now as I massaged the teen muscle and enjoyed how my neglected dad dick twitched in excitement. I pulled apart the buns and could see the dusting of peach fuzz in the crack and along the pucker. That virgin pucker. "FUCK!" I hissed.
I dove in.
"Fuck yes, Dad. Taste my hole."
I don't know how much of it was Junior enjoyed getting his ass eaten and how much he just loved the idea of men rimming. For now, I didn't care. Junior had shown me a new thing, a new sexual turn on, and I was enjoying the novelty of it. I prodded and licked and munched in steady succession.
"I know what you're doing, Dad," Junior hissed.
I leaned up. Not taking my eyes off his spit wet son-hole. "What's that, Son?"
"The kissing lessons," he replied. "Knocking on the Door. The Encounter. Classic French Kiss." Recounting the playful descriptions of kissing styles I'd used with him.
"FUCK!" I growled, leaning in for another swipe. I spit on his hole and now used a finger to push the saliva against the tightness of his cherry. "When do you show me The Need, son?"
I heard a pause. Junior was nervous all right, even if he was putting on a brave face. "When you're inside me, Dad."
I massaged his ass, imagining being inside him. There'd be no turning back. And, well, I really wondered if Junior would enjoy this. He was different than Braden, who was so clearly focused on my cock at that age, almost worshipful of the dick that made him.
"Since you're the planner, kiddo... did you bring lube?"
Junior nodded, his voice surprisingly quiet. "Front pocket of my bag, Dad."
I was rock hard as I got out of bed naked and went to rifle through Junior's luggage. I couldn't believe this was going to happen, and a part of me worried my son would back out at any moment. Instead as I turned back, Junior was stretching stomach down on the mattress and hiking his ass up.
"On your back, Junior," I softly instructed as I undid the cap.
He looked back at me. "I thought you said fucking from behind was your favorite position."
"It is," I said as I drizzled lube on my raging hard erection, then applying a good amount on my fingers. "Only it's your first time, buddy. We'll do it missionary."
I wasn't trying to be bossy. I just knew how this should play out.
Junior nodded and flipped on to his back. His 7-incher was pretty damn hard, which was a good sign. The nerves weren't getting to him that much.
I got into place, and Junior spread his legs to allow me to kneel between them. I reached down and gently tapped his pucker with my lubed fingers. "I'm gonna take my time, Junior," I said. "Open you up."
"Yeah," my son replied. "OK if talk some while you do? You know, sexual stuff."
"Of course," I said.
I gently began fingering him. A smile cracked on his face, and I could tell it was the psychological thrill of the penetration as much as anything.
"I watch too much porn, Dad," Junior said.
I arched my eyebrow. I had no idea where this was going. "Probably not more than any other teenager," I said.
Junior chuckled. "Probably not. But there's this one video where the top looks like you. Total DILF with a big cock."
"Yeah?"
"I've watched that so many times, Dad. Imagining it was you and me. That dad gets a little rough, you know goes really hard on his bottom."
"I'm not getting rough with you, Junior," I said.
"I'm glad," he said. "I mean I'm really fucking tight, right?"
I had two fingers in him now. "Crazy tight, Son."
"Tighter than Daddy was when you took his cherry?"
I'd have to ask Brade what he'd told Junior about our first time doing anal. But I now slipped a third finger in. "Maybe not, but your Daddy relaxed into it real quick once I was in."
Junior hissed. He was adjusting physically but also getting into this. He pulled his legs back further now. "Feels great, Dad."
I looked from his hole, where my fingers were sawing in and out and up to his face. "Yeah, kiddo?"
"I guess your dick will feel different." Junior was psyching himself up for this.
"Probably, yeah. I'm not a small man."
"You're perfect, Dad. Hot incest fucker."
"Junior..." I growled, letting him know how much he was turning me on.
"I mean, you fucked your first son and now you're gonna fuck a second."
I scooted up. It took some willpower not to go too hard in the penetration. But I paused and looked into Junior's eyes. "I want this so bad, Junior," I said. "More than I could admit to myself till now."
"We're Drake man, Dad. Our dicks sometimes do the thinking for us."
"Sometimes?" I joked.
"A lot of the time," Junior laughed. "I just want to feel your cock in me."
"I'm coming in, kiddo."
"Please."
Our eyes locked during that initial penetration. It stung a little for Junior but after a quick wince he returned my gaze and nodded.
"You're taking my cherry, Dad."
"I love you, Junior." My dick pushed in. It was tight but after clearing the initial ring the next inches were easier.
"God, I love you so fuckin much." He reached up and ran his hands along my upper body. "You're making me into a Drake man, for real."
"Jesus," I hissed. I was pushing all the way into Junior now. My son. My hot golf jock. My boyfriend. "You're pure Drake, no doubt," I said. "Already."
"Incest kid."
"Incest man," I replied. I pulled back and pushed back in. This was beyond the breaching phase. I was outright fucking my son now.
"Yes, Dad."
"Feel good, buddy?" I asked. His dick was hard but I needed to check in.
"Intense, but real fucking good."
I didn't go hard but I picked up the pace. Nice, steady father-son fuck. Junior's legs wrapped around my waist, me supporting my upper body on my arms above him.
We kissed. There it was. The Need. Junior sucking my tongue into his mouth.
I grunted into the kiss and started fucking for real. Hard, steady, strokes. Pounding my boy.
Junior's strong arms held on tight as we fucked. I had wanted to go slow, wanted to make sure Junior came first. But he wanted me to cum first, I could tell. His grip got firmer around my body and his legs clenched around my waist.
I almost came, but I needed Junior to feel the intensity of an anally induced cum. I slowed down and leaned up.
Junior was flush red from excitement and his cock dripping. His chest heaved, catching his breath, as he looked up at me. "You holding off, Dad?"
I reached over and grabbed the lube, pouring a thread onto Junior's uncut piece. Then I slid a pillow under his waist before taking his legs and putting them on my shoulders.
The pump was deep and a little hard but slower. Junior's eyes went wide. "Oh hell yes, Dad."
"I'm fucking my son," I announced. Hoping the hotel walls weren't paper thin. "Fucking his virginity away."
Junior stroked in time, eyes locking on mine as I built him up to a never level of sexual pleasure he hadn't experienced. "God, Dad... so fuckin good."
"Yeah, buddy... it's about to feel better."
Junior was getting that whimpery face. He was close, and his fist worked his dick faster.
"Your dad's cock in you... incest fucking you."
That did it. Junior's body clenched and heaved and his heavy cum flew out, all over his smooth chest and fur-dusted abs.
I know held his legs tight and gave a couple of faster thrusts. I wanted to cum before his orgasm wore off. In his daze, he watched me, excited that he was about to have father cum inside him for the first time.
"Shit!" I hissed. My orgasm blindsided me in its intensity. I shot hard and held my hips steady.
"God, yeah, Dad!" Junior cried. His hands openly caressing my hairy chest as I nutted inside him.
I slowly dismounted and met Junior in a soft, romantic kiss. "Thank you buddy, that was incredible."
Junior was on cloud nine. "I had no idea, Dad. I mean.... I knew I wanted it, but Jesus."
I patted his chest playfully.
"Would you be upset if I called your Daddy now?"
Junior shook his head. He was as proud of this milestone as I was.
I lay back and reached over for my phone. I gave Junior a wink as I pulled up Braden's contact.
"Hey Dad," he said. "What's up?" I could tell that he wasn't expecting me to call twice in one day.
"I just took Junior's cherry, son," I boasted. Even now, the view of my boyfriend, his body covered in his own cum, was incredible.
"Wow, that's so hot, Dad," he said, before lowering his voice. Maybe the boys were around. "I mean, I know he's been wanting it."
"Wanna talk to him? He's right here."
I handed the phone to Junior who had a proud look on his face. "Hey Daddy... yeah, more than lived up to them... So fucking good... Yeah... he's still hard now, actually.... yeah, maybe... I know... yeah, love you too, Daddy."
He hung up the phone and put it down.
"Fuck, Dad, I'm so damn happy."
"I am too, Junior." I scooted back closer to him, running my hands along his body. "Head over heels." I paused and looked at his face. I wanted to memorize that look he had. We'd grow out of this phase, wherever the sex and romance led us. I wanted to stop time. "Please tell me that wasn't the last time."
"Oh you're definitely fucking me more, Dad. This trip even."
We showered off then went back to bed to make out more, kissing softly, exploring each other's bodies. I raided the minibar to toast the occasion, and Junior and I talked about what incest dating was like with me and Braden at first, and how it developed. He asked if I felt guilty about being romantically involved with two sons.
"I was at first," I admitted. "But it just feels right now."
Junior smiled and ran his hands down my side. "You know, after the thing happened with Mr. Carson, I worried I'd never have this chance with you."
I gave a more concerned look. "I guess I worried you were doing this just to make me happy."
Junior shrugged. "No. But if I did, so what?" He gave me that teasing expression. "I bet you weren't so hesitant with Daddy."
I laughed. "Maybe not. I overthink things."
"It's cool, Dad. I do too."
We made out some more, softly at first, then more intensely. Soon, Junior was rolling me on my back and climbing on my lap, straddling me, reaching buddy.
"Buddy..." I said. "You're probably still a little tender down there."
Undaunted Junior sat onto my cock. "Wanna get used to it, Dad."
My hands were on his outer thighs as he slowly sank down then rode me. "Feels different like this, Dad?"
"Better?" I asked.
"Just different." His dick was rock hard against and swaying with each bounce onto my lap. "I wanna try every position."
"We will, kiddo," I said. Doubt and guilt leaving me behind completely now as I held tight and fucked up into my boyfriend. "Every fucking one."

Goliath Serum: Tom & Keith
Tumblr media
LEFT: Tom.  6’1”.  230#.
RIGHT: Keith.  7’8”.  670#
At the boardwalk on Big Beach I saw Keith (right) standing outside a gym. I asked for an interview. He trembled a little and said he would have to ask Tom about it.   A few moments later Tom, a conventionally tall and fit man, appeared. He was little angry & suspicious. Tom was very protective of the big man, probing my interests until satisfied of my purpose as a reporter.  He and Keith then consented to talk.
The men were an unusual couple, and Keith an unusual Goliath.  I found their story moving and compelling.
Keith began his journey as a Goliath five years ago as part of a power-transfer relationship.  A highly submissive man Keith focused on pleasing his “sir”.  Keith was originally just 5’2” and about 150 pounds. When the “sir” found out that Keith was G+ he ordered Keith to take the serum.  The “sir” apparently thought that having a Goliath as a submissive would be a mark of distinction of his masterful prowess.
Keith had no desire to become a Goliath.  After giving minor resistance – and receiving punishments – he underwent the procedure.  As the serum is irreversible candidates must give multiple attestations, written and video, that this is desired of their own free will.  Keith attested, concealing he was only there because his “Sir” demanded it.
As Keith enlarged, his “sir” initially enjoyed the experience.  That changed when he became much larger and stronger than the “sir”. His circle took the arrangement as parody and humor.   When Keith became a bulge-muscled, 6’8” man the “sir” found this so personally humiliating that he ended Keith's “service” and kicked him out of their home.
Keith is a truly radical submissive personality.  He can operate independently and well, but only within the parameters set by another person.  When this toxic relationship ended he was rudderless.
For a while, Keith went from friend to friend. However, directing the actions of a dependent and growing Goliath is no small task.  Enter Tom, introduced by mutual friends who understood Keith’s nature.  They rapidly became involved, attracted to each other both physically and emotionally.
Tom has been in power exchange relationships.  He holds that these are intended to cultivate the life and wellbeing of both the dom and the sub.  (These are his preferred terms.)  Each person gives something equal, but different, to the other.  Both are caring, respected, and respectful.
They have been together now two years.  Keith finished growing into his height and filling out with muscle approximately six months ago, with Tom’s direction and support.  They sit on a bench talking with me.
Tom: “Keith is an incredibly gentle soul.  He isn’t at all stupid, just very submissive and shy.  He doesn’t like the inherent attention he gets as a Goliath.  He’s not cut out for it.  My heart was breaking when I first met him, watching this massive man being so awkward and afraid.  If someone said something mean to him he would run crying into another room.  He had very little sense of self or value.  I’m proud to help him grow into those things.  He can still be submissive…there’s just no reason for him to feel afraid all the time.”
Keith: “Tom’s right, I never wanted to be big.  I loved being small and out of sight.  Now [his lip trembles] I never get that, and I’m always the center of attention.  I don’t like it.”  He takes a moment to pull himself together.  “I feel like I’m a mouse driving the body of an elephant!  It’s not right, it’s just not right!”  Tom holds his hand.  Keith smiles.  “But I feel like I can do it with Tom.  He’s encouraging me and I do stuff by myself…even with the looks and people wanting a picture....” He briefly loses his smile, but it comes back.  He reaches his long arm down and around Tom, hugging him from the side. “I’m not as scared as much as I used to be, I’m happy and I’ve got a great family!”
2025 Author Note: I still absolutely love these men. We will introduce them "in canon" when I get to the second book of the Goliath Serum. I want to meet them, and I want you to meet them too!

Warning!! I have not finished Voltron completely yet, but I do know bits and pieces so this might be a bit ooc
Voltron dating headcannons (GN reader)
Keith:
* I like to think that his love language is acts of service
* He’s very new to the whole “dating” thing and isn’t really good with his words so he relies on doing things for you
* Need help training? He’s got you. Stressed out? He’s not the best at it, but he’ll be damned if he doesn’t try and help his lover
* I don’t see Keith as the type of guy to use a lot of pet names
* Like dont get me wrong, I love pet names, but I personally can’t see Keith using them
* As tough and mean he is to others, you see a softer side of him
* Not in a “he’s really a big baby on the inside” crap
* More of a “he feels more calm and relaxed around you”
* After a stressful mission, he will definitely enter your room without a word and just flop either next to you or on top of you
* No words would be expressed, all he needs is some quiet and you to decompress
* In no way would he EVER let you get hurt
* This man will protect you with his life
* He can’t stand the thought of losing you, it kills him just thinking about the “what if” situations
* Not a big social person, but if you are then I think he will at least tag along for the ride
* Keith definitely worries that he’s not the “best” or “ideal” boyfriend for you
* He’s part Galra, he’s mean, he’s abrasive, he’s stubborn, what could you possibly see in him?????
* He needs a reminder now and then that he’s enough for you and that you love him
* You’ll sometimes find him late at night in the training room if he’s had a tough day
* You’ll have to physically drag him into bed and hold him down for him to sleep
Lance:
* Oh boy, he’s not called “lover boy” for no reason
* Absolutely loves to compliment you every single day
* Calls you stuff like, “mi amor” and “my girl/boy/partner”
* He likes to show you off and talks about you a lot
* Honestly the rest of the team is a little sick of it but they are also happy that he found someone like you
* Takes you on joy ride in his lion when he has some downtime
* He gets an earful from Allura
* His love language is definitely physical affection
* He loves holding your hands, your hugs, kissing you any chance he gets, and cuddling you
* Thinks he’s the big spoon but is really the little spoon most of the time
* When he gets homesick, he likes to be around you and talk to you to distract himself
* But some nights he’s crying in your arms, missing home, missing his family, and not knowing if or when he gets to see them again
* He likes to tell you stories from when he was little, what his family is like, and stories from his time at the garrison
* Will complain to you about how Keith annoyed him this time
* Overall, definitely a great lover
Shiro:
* Shiro is definitely more experienced with love than the other two
* He calls you stuff like “darling” “sweetheart” and other cute older pet names
* His love languages are quality time and acts of service
* I like to think that with all the excitement and craziness that comes with being apart of Voltron that he likes to just spend time with his lover and relax
* You two don’t even have to be doing something together
* He could be reading while your in the same room doing something completely different and he wouldn’t mind, just as long as he’s around you after such a stressful day
* Has severe PTSD and get nightmares almost every night
* He’s used to dealing with it alone but once you enter the picture he’s gonna have to get used to you waking up with him to comfort him
* Always tells you to go back to sleep and that “it’s nothing” but you know better than that
* He also has some self esteem issues about his metal arm, being disgusted by it some days and wanting nothing more than for it to disappear
* Please comfort him, space dad needs some love 🥺
* Likes to listen to you talk, your voice grounding him to reality and comforting him in times of need
* Like Keith, he is also protective of you
* After Adams death, he can’t help but have nightmares of you meeting the same fate
* Sometimes he becomes so paranoid about it that you have fights about missions you are sent on
* He knows you can take care of yourself, he trained you after all, but that won’t ease his nerves and memories about Adam
Hunk
* MY FAVORITE BOY 😍😍😍
* He’s so sweet to you, you don’t understand!
* He likes to call you “baby” “baking partner” or just a shorten version of your name if you have one
* His love languages is definitely gift giving and physical affection
* He loves cooking and baking new recipes for you to try and give him feedback
* With physical affection, he’s gonna be a bit nervous in the beginning about it, having never been in a relationship before, but he slowly starts to get more into it
* Hand holding, cuddling, hugging, there all his favorite ways to say he loves you
* He definitely one of the more nervous one when it comes to you fighting along side Voltron
* Hunk himself is more of a pacifist and is therefore already a little uneasy about even HIMSELF fighting
* So for you, his lover, to be put in the front lines with them has him very uneasy and nervous
* He just loves you so much he would never forgive himself if something happened to you 🥺
* He is always there if you have something on your mind that’s bothering you
* Whether it’s something small or large, he will always listen to you
* And vice versa, if he has something on his mind, be there for him cause he sometimes feels like he’s not listened to by the others
Pidge
* Definitely the least experienced out of the group (her and Keith are like neck and neck)
* I don’t see her using pet names, much like Keith
* Idk it just strikes me as odd for her to use pet names
* She definitely has stupid nicknames for you, but not stuff like baby or sweetheart
* If you don’t like that, sue me
* Her love language is definitely quality time
* She likes when you come around while she’s working on a new project so she can geek out about it
* You don’t even have to understand anything she says, she just likes when you’re around her when she’s working
* Also has you test some of the safer projects, she would never let you NEAR the more outrageous ones
* Unlike the others, she’s actually really open to you fighting along side her
* Don’t get me wrong, she would murder everyone if you got hurt, but she likes working with you and strategizing
* Will make you a weapon and enhanced suit if you asked
* Even if you don’t, she probably already has them in the works

Shadow High series 3 my new beloved
I didnt even like most of em until i saw them in person, but the knowledge that they'll probably never be in the show has my brain in a "well its free realestate" kinda mood
Random list of information cuz ive been plotting out friend dynamics and background lore
-i like to pretend Rainbow High/Shadow High are actually Rainbow University/Shadow University cuz im in art college Right Now and i think it makes more sense with the whole dorm room situation. And also major makes more sense than focus IMO
-I changed Pinkie's major from film to just undeclared. I think she eventually does land on Film. She just has a lot of interests! Her dream has always been to one day direct films, and I think she comes to love them even more while developing ideas her with the group as she winds up in a Director/Producer position for most of them. BUT also every time she takes a class in a different program she cant help but fall in love with that way of making art too. So she has a hard time picking for a while and changed her major a couple times before landing on Film.
-Pinkie and Berrie bond a lot over a shared interest in vocal synths (tho Berrie knows more about them than her).
-The two made Pinkie's vtuber model together!
-the fandom wiki says PJ is from germany?? Idk how canon that is tbh but ive decided to embrace it i guess
-Rooney's canon name is Scarlet Rose, but i thought it was kinda lame especially when Rosie Redwood is also in this line sooo I renamed her! Stuck to the color name puns tho. Mar Rooney. Maroon. Haha
-Speaking on her though i love that shes from texas and likes writing scifi mystery type stuff and that being said i just Know deep in my bones that she was a Voltron Legendary Defender fan and Keith was/is 100% her favorite. She has a continued fondness for mothman specifically cuz of this.
-PJ and Rooney actually talk about fandom and shows/movies ALL the time. They dont have a ton of overlapping interests, but where they do? The two literally never shut up.
-Rosie is such a random character, like outside of her design she feels very poorly considered. So I scrapped the cosmetology thing and made her an illustrator instead! I think it works better with her love of making art in nature. I can see her being really into illustrated guide books. I think shes a bit snooty when it comes to art too. It takes being friends with other artists to become more open minded.
-I like the idea that Rosie is mainly friends with Rooney and Berrie ontop of that. The three of them often tag team storylines and how theyd interpret them into different mediums. Rosie will draw up a bunch of concept stuff while Rooney writes up a pitch bible and Berrie will start making shit move and throwing in her own ideas on camera angles and character designs.
-as an animation major Berrie was required to take a sound design class early on, which is where she met Oliver! Hes very laid back, and likes to go with the flow, but functions a little like the "mom" of the group. Often reminding the girls to take breaks, drink water, stop looking at their screens lest they get eye strain etc. He's multi-talented tbh but Music is his one true passion and he likes how the girls are always giving him collaboration opportunities.
-Oliver and Rosie like to talk sports a lot, both having played a bunch when they were younger and throughout high school.
-Lavender Lynn is Oliver's number one "person who needs constant reminders to settle down" she is in a constant buzz of trying to get the best shots and is utterly obsessed with the process of artistic documentation. Everything must be documented.
-the whole school loves her for this actually, she has a whole side gig where other students hire her to help photograph their projects. She saves everything she earns from this for her future dream plans to visit paris. She has it set really, many of the artists who she helps photograph now will remain steadfast clients of hers forever onward.
-PJ and Lynn actually took a print media class together at one point. Which didnt at the time spark an everlasting friendship. But it did give PJ an easier in to ask for Lynn's help documenting a project the group was working on. One of Lynn's first times photographing them work happened to fall on a day where Rosie had planned to trick everyone into going on a nature walk sans devices... Lynn wound up really appreciating this outing and decided to continue hanging around the group even after that project had ended.

You hadn’t planned on becoming friends with Steve ‘the Hair’ Harrington. In your mind, he was still that cocky freshman who happened to be good at playing Basketball during your senior year of high school. You’d never paid much attention to sports or the popular crowd back at Hawkins High, but word had quickly spread about the new kid.
When Steve and Robin approached you to help hook them up with a job at Family Video you were skeptical at first. Robin was a no-brainer when it came to hiring. She had the experience and clearly knew her stuff when it came to movies. Steve you were more on the fence about, as he seemed less cinematically inclined but Robin had vouched for him, and you were tired of having to cover so many of Keith’s shifts. Even when he was here, Keith was basically useless, always hiding in the back.
At this point, you were desperate for any sort of help, so you hired them both.
You quickly took a liking to them- they were easy to hang out with and were able to quickly pick up on what needed to be done. Robin always knew what movies to show on the preview televisions, and Steve was quick to pick up on any busy work that needed to get done.
“I’m always willing to go the extra mile to slack off.” he’d said once, which had earned your approval. As long as shit got done, they could slack off all they wanted. You hated that ‘if you have time to lean, you have time to clean’ bullshit. It’s not like the job was especially hard either.
Eventually you and Steve started talking on the nights where the two of you would close together alone. Tuesday and Wednesday nights were good for that sort of thing, they were your slowest days. You learned that he was floundering a bit after high school, struggling to find a place in the world now that he was no longer King Steve. It was also clear by the way he talked that he was still hung up on his ex Nancy, even if he wouldn’t admit it.
That was probably the reason why he kept striking out when flirting with customers. It was actually kind of sad.
“You know, I really should probably tell you to stop hitting on every cute girl that walks through that door.” you said, taking out some tapes from the VHS re-winder and putting in new ones. “People come here for movies, not to be hit on.”
It was a speech you’d given at least a dozen times over the past four months. You’d said it so many times that Steve was mouthing along the words as you said them, and you gave his arm a smack. Your heart wasn’t in it though, in truth you knew that at least half of the young women who came to Family Video were here to see Steve and flirt, which is why you were so baffled that he was striking out so hard.
He was good with customers, great even. When he first started working here he would get several numbers slipped to him between returned VHS tapes. But as the Summer months shifted into Autumn, he seemed to be running out of steam.
“I can’t help it if I’m naturally charming.” Steve said, with over-compensated confidence. “I don’t even need to think, I’m just that good at flirting.”
“Yeah, I think your charisma stat has taken a hit over these past few weeks dude.” you snorted.
“I still don’t know what that means.” Steve said. “But I have plenty of charisma!”
“You know, if you actually paid attention to what me or your children said every once in a while you’d understand us better.” You couldn’t help but laugh. Over the past few months, so many freshman had come in just to bother Steve while he was working. “How is the single mom life by the way? Am I giving you enough hours to pay the bills? Do the kids need new shoes for school?”
“I’m not the mom, I’m the babysitter.” Steve shot back, before realizing how lame that actually was then he sighed. “I think they’re doing okay. Henderson’s the only one who actively keeps up with me.”
You didn’t miss the hint of disappointment in his voice. “It’s hard when they grow up.” you said, putting your hand on his shoulder. “Don’t worry, I’m sure they won’t put you in a home.”
Steve snorted and brushed your hand off. “Says the one older than me.” he rolled his eyes.
“See, I don’t have six kids to raise, so I’m going to stay young and fun forever, Harrington.” you teased. “You’ve got a full brood to look after. Oh look, I think I see a gray hair right there!”
You reached over to touch his hair and he swatted you away again. “Like hell there is!” he said, mild panic in his voice. You didn’t let up and kept reaching for his hair and he kept pushing you off.
“Yup, that’s a gray one, you’re about to go full Doc Brown on me before the end of the year!” You declare as he attempted to push you off.
Despite him trying to push you off, there was a smile on his face. A lot of nights ended like this with you annoying him and teasing him for his relationship with so many kids. It was endearing really.
The door to the front of the store rang and you two immediately jumped apart as a girl came in, looking to be about Steve’s age. She was pretty, and you slipped out from behind the desk to put away some movies. He really shouldn’t be flirting with the customers, you know this. But... well it was Tuesday night and you were bored and this was far more entertaining than reorganizing the movies in the back room. Less sticky too.
“Action!” You heard Steve call from up front and you moved casually between the aisles and cringed. Oh, no. He was doing the bit again. How many times have you told him that it wouldn’t work? “Oh, I’m sorry you’re so beautiful I thought you were an actress.”
You had to bite your hand to stop yourself from laughing. You couldn’t handle this, this didn’t work the first dozen times, why the hell would it work now? Steve’s voice carried easily, projecting around the video store and allowing you to hear every single word that came out of his mouth.
You listened as Steve threw everything at this poor girl. Talking himself up as some sort of cinema aficionado when you knew the last movie he rented was Star Wars for the third time to watch with Dustin. And he called you the nerd.
“So yeah, I was thinking, beautiful girl like yourself might enjoy watching this movie with some company.” Steve said, handing over the movie. The girl in question gave a polite smile and declined the movie, renting the two that she had actually came for and left.
“That... was sad, Steve.” you said, as she disappeared into the parking lot. You walked over to the counter and picked up the movie that Steve had tried to offer her. “‘The Karate Kid?’ Really? That was your big plan?”
Steve’s was leaning over the desk, bracing his hands against the side of the counter looking down. “I panicked ok?” he admitted. “I don’t know what’s going on with me. I used to be so good at getting any girl I wanted and now I keep blowing it.”
You felt for the guy, you really did. He’d gone from the top of the world to treading water in just a few short months. Steve had told you that he had been at Starcourt Mall the day of the fire, and you had a feeling that it affected him more than he let on. You’d seen him get rejected so many times, but he was always able to brush it off. This time it looked personal.
Well, he was your friend now, and as your friend it was up to you to help him out.
“I think you need to learn how to talk to women now that you’re not in high school anymore, Steve.” you said, clapping a hand on his shoulder. “The tactics you used before just aren’t going to cut it now. Welcome to “life after high school” where everything you learned over the past twelve years is socially useless.”
“Yeah? And what would you know about social skills?” Steve said. “I haven’t exactly seen you going on any dates lately either.”
“Rude, but fair.” you admitted. He didn’t mean anything mean by it, but the two of you were very much opposites when it came to how you both approached things such as your social and dating life.
Steve was interested in taking any pretty face he saw out on a date. You had not been on a date in months, and had barely tried. Steve had countless tales about his time dating in high school, you went to Homecoming stag with your friends once. Steve talked about a time where he was almost having too much sex. You shamelessly rented porn from the back room and made Steve ring you up as he rolled his eyes.
He’d asked you on a date once and you almost laughed in his face. He was good looking, in a traditional sense but not your type. After thinking about it, you decided that kissing Steve sounded too much like kissing your favorite cousin. You had politely declined and he seemed relieved.
It’s not that you didn’t have an interest in dating, you did. You had tried to explain it to Steve one night, that so many people were into being popular and caring about things that you just couldn’t. You’d tried to fit in, but your interests were just weird. You could have fun at a football game if you were with friends, but that came from the excitement of being in an excited crowd and being with people you liked. You didn’t blame anyone for it, you were glad that people could care about these things. You just wished someone could get excited about the same things that you did.
You and Steve were both fish out of water, you’d just grown used to not being able to breathe.
“Sorry.” said Steve, standing up straight again. “That was below the belt.”
“You’re a dick, but it’s fine.”  you shrugged. You’d been called worse for less. “You know, I may not be the pinnacle of normalcy but I do happen to be a woman.”
“I thought you said you were the Creature from the Black Lagoon.” Steve laughed under his breath.
“Only on special occasions.” you replied. “But that’s not the point. Look, you need help getting your groove back. I’m tired of renting movies from the back. I think we could help each other.”
Steve turned to you, brows furrowed. “What did you have in mind?”
“I’m thinking we could try wing-manning for each other.” you said. “I’ll talk you up and help you not make a jackass out of yourself, and you can help me get a date too.”
Steve opened his mouth to say something smart, but he closed it quickly with a tilt of his head. He looked to the side, thinking about the proposal.
“You can’t do any worse with my help.” you said. “I mean, that ‘actress’ line was bad. Really bad. Like, horrible. I don’t know why you keep using it.”
“It worked with Linda Mendelli.” Steve said defensively.
“Yeah, I have no idea who that is.” you said.
“She got the lead in the spring musical two years ago.”
“So your actress line worked on a high school actress once.” you laughed. “That explains everything.”
“Like you could come up with a better line!” Steve pouted.
“I can think of a million different lines that would work better than that. And I’ll share them with you, if we have a deal.” you said.
“So you want me to get you a date?” he clarified. “That’s what you want out of this?”
“That’s what I get out of this. Well, that and I can stop nearly puking when I have to listen to you come up with some weird line when a cute girl walks in. It would save me a lot of money on nausea medication.” You smirked.
Steve thought about it for a moment before looking you up and down. “I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say you’re already not interested in changing anything about yourself to make this easier on me.”
“Again, that’s really rude. That is correct though, you get me a date as I am. No make-over montage, no pretending I’m something I’m not. I spent all of high school trying to be something else, and I’m done with that.” you said firmly.
Steve turned away from you, ran his fingers through his hair, and then turned back, offering his hand. “Fine, you have a deal.”
With a smile, you spat in your hand and grabbed his in a firm shake. “Deal.”
“Ew!” he jerked his hand back as you laughed. Steve wiped his hand on his pants looking disgusted. “That’s so gross, you really are giving me a run for my money.”
“Right then,” you said with an amused grin. “Let’s start with lesson one, and stop with any stupid pick-up lines to get attention.”
Tumblr media
Over the next few weeks, in the slow times during work where there was nothing to do but dust the shelves and rewind tapes, you coached Steve on how to talk to women.
“It’s really not that hard.” you explained one night. “It really does come down to just two things; be sincere and be confident. You already have probably too much confidence coming out your ass, but the sincerity isn’t there. You keep throwing these random lines out and hoping something sticks. Fine, that works in high school but not anymore.”
“I’m always sincere about asking them on a date!” he protests. “I’m not just asking every girl I see out on a date!”
“That’s statistically incorrect but I’ll humor you.” you said, as you organized the candy shelf, restocking the skittles. “I believe it when you ask a girl out, but you’re so oblivious about them as people. Newsflash, not all girls are the same Harrington.”
“Yeah, some of them are you.” he said, leaning against the counter, having already given up on pretending to work for the night. “How many times have you seen that Rocky Horror movie now?”
“I see it once a month with my friends at the old Cenimaplex right outside town. Been doing that since I was eighteen.” you confirmed. “I’m hoping to get to be part of the shadow cast at some point.”
“See? That’s weird. Most people maybe go see it once in October.” Steve points out.
“We aren’t talking about me, Harrington. We’re talking about the type of girls you’re into. Also, don’t knock it. I plan on dragging you along this month. It’s about time you lose your virginity.” you smirked as you ripped open a box of snickers and handed him one. “Don’t tell Keith.”
He took the candy bar. “You know I’m not a virgin. I have had sex before you know.”
You shook your head, that’d be a conversation for another day. “Let’s get back to the point. You keep asking girls out but you don’t know them.”
“I get to know them when I’m on a date.” he said.
“That’s all well and good, but you need to be able to see what kind of person they are before you go on the date. Not everyone is like me and wears their personality on their sleeves.” you explained, taking your own candy of choice off the rack. “Okay so today for example. Remember the girl that came in with the brown hair and rented out Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure?” Steve nodded. “So, she also rented out The Breakfast Club.”
“Okay? And what does that have to do with anything?” Steve asked.
“It means she has a kid sibling, and is probably a burnt out older sibling.” you said. “Loves her baby brother or sister but is also very introspective and trying to figure herself out. You came on too strong with her, asking her to a high school basketball game was too high energy.”
Steve gawked at you for a moment. “I hate that you just made sense.” He rubbed his cheeks with his hands. “Shit.”
“Dude, just pay attention to whoever you’re interested in and all the pieces will fall in place.” you said. “Pay attention to the movies, what she’s saying, and if she’s giggling at you then that’s a good sign.”
“Pay attention. Right. I can do this.” he said.
Two weeks after this conversation, Steve nabbed his first date in two months. It had taken a little bit of coaching and some hyping on your end but he got a girls number and had set up a date.
Three days after that he had another date set up.
Two days after that, another three dates.
It was the start of October now, and you were decorating the store for the season. You were standing on a ladder putting up a strand of black garland while Steve held the ladder.
“So I’m taking Shannon out on Tuesday to get ice cream at the new place down the street.” Steve explained.
“We work Tuesday.” you said.
“Tuesday morning.” Steve clarified. “Then Thursday I have two dates with Amy and Marissa since it’s my day off.”
He’d been going on about this for an hour. Steve had been going on dates steadily again for at least three weeks now. It had only been a little over a month that the two of you had agreed to the deal. Now King Steve was back, and you were now subject to every detail of his romantic escapades again. You were happy for your friend, really, but sometimes you’d sneak into the back room and organize the porn just to give you a moment away from hearing about your friends new-found sex life.
It didn’t need to make sense, it just needed to work.
“Do you ever stop to sleep?” you asked, taping up the final end of garland and coming back down the ladder.
“Sometimes I sleep before I have to sneak out a window after I’ve-”
“Nope. No more words, Harrington.” you said, holding up a hand as he laughed. “I get it, I’ll give you more hours so that you can expand your condom budget. Your poor kids must feel neglected while you find them a new mom.”
“I thought you said that I was the single mom?” Steve asked as you both moved the ladder to a new spot. He handed you a bat from the box that held the Halloween decorations.
“Oh, you are. Your kids can have two moms, I’ll allow it.” you said, hopping up on the ladder again. “Hey look, I’m Ozzie Osbourn!”
Jokingly you bit at the head of the bat as Steve looked up at you as if you were insane. “...What?”
You frowned and looked down at him. “Black Sabbath?” you asked. “The guy bit a bats head off on stage?” Now he was looking at you like you were a total psychopath. “Oh come on, you didn’t hear about that? The first time it was a fake bat but then he somehow managed to grab a real bat?”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about, as usual.” Steve said, shaking his head. “What movie is Black Sabbath again?”
It was your turn to stare at him now. “How are we even friends?” you asked. “You and I don’t have a single thing in common. ‘What movie is Black Sabbath’ be so for real right now.”
“You asked me last week if the Pacers was a marathon I was going to race!” Steve shot back.
“And I stand by that, because that does NOT sound like the name of a basketball team.” You climbed higher on the ladder to hang the bat.
“You’re thinking of the Fitness Gram Pacer Test.”
“Sports!” you cried out, giving the bat a small bap to make it swing. “Movement like that means nothing to me!” you gave a pause. “Unless you’re actually going to compete. I’ll care for your sake if you’re playing. Otherwise I’m just gonna smile and nod. Give me another bat.”
Steve dug into the box again to pull out another bat for you. “So what’s Black Sabbath then?” he finally asked.
“Look at you taking my lessons to heart and asking questions about a girls interest!” You reached down and pat his hair, causing him to swat you away again with a comment about not touching his hair. “It’s a metal band.”
“I didn’t think you were into metal.” Steve said as you came back down the ladder.
“I’m into anything I like.” you said simply. “Why limit yourself, you know? If I like something I need to learn everything about it or I feel like my brain will explode.”
“You’re kind of weird.”
“I know.”
The two of you continued to decorate the store between taking care of customers. You were going a bit overboard, if you were honest. Keith had handed you a pathetic box of a few paper decorations to use, and you had gone out with your own money to buy more. If you were expected to be here to earn a paycheck you may as well get something out of it, even if it was the feeling of being surrounded by cheesy holiday memorabilia.
“So how are the kids, Harrington?” you asked, untangling a fake spiders web.
Steve sighed, messing with the candy counter. “Dustin’s doing good. He’s made a friend at school.”
“You seem tense about that.” you looked over at him. “Care to share with the class how that makes you feel?”
“I don’t feel anything about it.” Steve said, clearly defensive. “Henderson has a new cool older friend who’s into the same nerdy shit he’s into.”
Steve was so jealous, it was written all over his face. How long had he been the cool older figure in that kid's life?
“Should have taken him up on playing D&D with him.” you said with a grin. “Now your child is going to divorce you for a new dad.”
“You really need to sort out whatever metaphor you’re going to use with me and these kids.”
“Nah, gotta keep you on your toes.”
Steve shook his head with a laugh. “It’s funny you know? One minute I’m the coolest guy in the room to everyone. I was king of Hawkins High, had these kids that annoyed the shit out of me but looked up to me, and the best girlfriend I could have asked for. Then I graduated, the kids took over school, and now I’m single even after going on all these dates.”
“Yeah, life’s funny like that.” you agreed. “If it makes you feel any better I don’t think you’re super lame. You’re actually kind of an alright dude.”
“Thanks.”
“Any time.”
“...So speaking of you going on dates.” you started slowly, unsure how to bring this up.
“Right, yeah, so I said I was going out with Amy and Marissa on Thursday-” Steve started.
“No not that,” you interrupted. “Well, sort of but not really. So I’ve held up my end of the bargain, Harrington.”
Steve froze for a moment before looking up at you on the ladder. “Oh, right. So about that, I have no idea what you even like in a guy.”
“Fair enough, I have not exactly been as pro-active as you have been.” The past few weeks had been so busy with the changing of seasons and weeding out old movies that you hadn’t really had time to think about dates. You’d been stuck in a perpetual loop of work and school with the occasional odd movie night with Steve and Robin when they were free.
“So what do you like?” he asked. “If you want my help, you’re gonna have to open up about that.”
“Oh but that involves being vulnerable with King Steve of Hawkins High and that’s not exactly my style.” you sighed dramatically.
“Last week when we got together for movie night you got drunk and cried about how you got asked out to prom as a joke. Is that not opening up or being vulnerable?”
You winced and made a face. “I did that? Yikes. I’m never drinking again.” You did remember renting out Carrie with the others and crying because she had been a very relatable character in your early high school years. Things were a lot better now that you left high school, but you supposed that had struck a nerve.
“Come on, just give me something to work with. I know you’re a weirdo who obsesses over the most random things. You like Rocky Horror and anything with music. But what do you like in a guy?” Steve pressed.
You fiddled with the decoration that had been perfectly hung a moment ago, just to give you something to do with your hands. This was a very good question that you had thought about a lot.
“I guess I want someone who’s as weird as I am.” you finally said. “I’d like to at least meet someone who understood the things I cared about, or was at least willing to learn. I know I’m different, and I’m okay with being different. I want a guy who gets being like that, and won’t make me feel less for it.”
“That’s... specifically vague.” Steve said, thinking. “I was thinking more looks wise.”
“I like guys with long hair.” you said immediately.
That he could probably work with. You hopped off the ladder for the last time and he helped you pack it away in the storage closet.
Steve was thinking hard about what to do about his end of the bargain when the door rang and someone walked inside.
“Steve!” A voice called out, and your co-workers face immediately lit up and ran to the front of the store.
“Henderson!”
You watched as the two boys ran to each other, immediately going into a secret handshake that you couldn’t help but find endearing. The kids that Steve was friends with were always fun, but you had to admit that you had a soft spot for Dustin. That was a kid who knew who he was and wasn’t afraid to be it. You admired that a lot about him.
Deciding to give them a bit of space, you made yourself busy with the horror movie section, making sure that everything was in place. Lucky for you though, those two were still very much boys and you could hear every single part of their conversation.
It’s not eavesdropping if they’re that loud. Probably.
“The store looks great!” Dustin said, looking around. “You guys really went all out with the decorations, huh?”
“Yup, we just got finished. She bought most of this stuff herself.” Steve gestured to you and you gave a wave.
“Hey, Dustin!” you called out, and he waved back.
“They’ve started putting up decorations at school too, but people keep stealing them.” Dustin said. “There are at least three skeletons missing from the science labs.”
“Those aren’t decorations, Henderson. I think those are supposed to be educational.” Steve replied.
“Not when they’re wearing witches hats and cat ears.” Dustin countered. Steve shrugged in agreement.
“So is school going alright? How’s Lucas doing on the team? What about Mike?” Steve asked and you couldn’t help but laugh to yourself. Steve could deny it all he wanted, but he was absolutely a single mother to these kids. You wished that you had a way to record him so that he could see the way he was fussing over them.
“Lucas is still a bench-warmer.” Dustin said, grabbing a candy bar from the snack stand. You conveniently were too busy making sure that a copy of Sleepaway Camp was properly rewound to notice the blatant theft. “He still goes to practice every week, but he hasn’t been on the court yet. He’s been making a lot of cool and popular friends.”
There was no hiding the disdain in his voice when he said that.
“Well Basketball is the best way to secure your ranking at Hawkins.” Steve said. “I would know.”
“Yeah but it seems like he never has time to even come to Hellfire Club anymore. We’re lucky if he makes it to one or two sessions a month.” Dustin sighed. “He totally blew off me and Mike last week to go hang out with his cool new friends.”
“You know, you have an in with the popular crowd now Henderson. You could use this as a chance to be popular.” Steve pointed out.
“But I don’t want to be popular, Steve! I’m happy with the friends I have and enjoying what I like.”
“Ignore Steve, he’s stupid. Keep doing what you’re doing, kid!” you called out to them, making Dustin laugh and Steve sigh.
“Thank you.” Dustin said before turning to Steve again. “Anyway, Eddie says that conformity is overrated. He says it’s better to be a freak with a few friends than some weird version of normalcy and be miserable.”
“Right, because ‘the freak’ is so wise.” Steve said, rolling his eyes.
“He is!” Dustin frowned. “You know, he’s the only person who’s been nice to me and Mike since we started school. And last session he had us-”
That was when you started tuning the conversation out. You looked up at the clock and swore, you had some work to do in the back before your shift is over.
“Steve, watch the front for me. I’ll be finishing up in the back.” you called out, and Steve only waived in response.
Once you were out of earshot, Steve held up a hand to Dustin to signal him to stop talking.
“What?” asked Dustin. “You told me that I get at least five uninterrupted minutes to talk about the campaign when we hang out.”
“Yeah, and I’ll let you have seven minutes if you help me out.” Steve said.
“Seven? An extra two minutes? Make it ten.” Dustin crossed his arms,
“Eight.”
“Deal. What do you need?”
Steve stares at Dustin for a second. He doesn’t want to ask this question, as he never had any interest in knowing anything about Eddie ‘the Freak’ Munson. Eddie had been a stagnant 2 years ahead of him and somehow still hadn’t graduated. Steve couldn’t comprehend being 20 and still in high school, and he almost felt bad for entertaining this thought. Then again, you had also spent an extra semester at school, so maybe that wouldn’t be a deterrent.
“I need you to tell me more about Eddie.” Steve finally managed to get out. Dustin looked like Christmas had suddenly come early.
“You want to know more about Eddie?” Dustin had a shit-eating grin on his face that Steve hated. “Since when do you have an interest in Dungeons and Dragons?”
“I still don’t.” Steve said firmly. “I never have and never will understand your game. And I’m not asking about him for me, I’m asking about him for her.” He motioned to the door to the back room.
“Her?” Dustin looked at the door, as if he could see you through the flimsy wood. “Is she wanting to play?”
“I don’t know, probably? She’s made enough references to playing before. Listen, no, that’s not what this is about.” Steve sighed. “We have this deal going on. She’d help me get dates if I helped her get a date. And she followed through, and I still have no idea how to get her a date.”
“She wants to date Eddie?” Dustin had a look on his face that was a mix of surprise and confusion. “How does she know him?”
“I don’t think she knows Eddie.” Steve said. “But she wants someone weird and as much as I hate to admit it, your new friend might actually fit her criteria.”
“Fifteen minutes.”
“Dude, come on.”
“Fifteen uninterrupted minutes, and you let me rent an R rated movie.”
“Jesus, Henderson.”
“Deal or no deal?”
Steve turned and looked at the door that you had disappeared behind. You had been a good friend to him over the past four months, a really good friend. You and Robin had been able to keep him grounded and going after the Starcourt Fire. You’d more than held up your end of the bargain.
“Fine, deal.” Steve agreed.
Dustin smiled and seemed content. “So what do you want to know?”

Paul trying and sometimes failing to be chill about Yoko
Link to masterpost of quote compilations
“I told John on the phone the other day that at the beginning of last year I was annoyed with him. I was jealous because of Yoko, and afraid about the break-up of a great musical partnership.”
1970, Paul to Ray Connolly in the Evening Standard
I’d been able to accept Yoko in the studio, sitting on a blanket in front of my amp. I’d worked hard to come to terms with that. But then when we broke up and everyone was now flailing around, John turned nasty. I don’t really understand why. Maybe because we grew up in Liverpool, where it was always good to get in the first punch of a fight.
The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present
"It just became impossible for me to work with Yoko sitting there watching us," says Paul. "I wanted to write simple things like 'I love you girl' and every time I knew she was listening I felt I had to come out with someone clever and avant garde! "I'm not blaming Yoko -- I'm blaming me. It was no more John's fault for falling in love with Yoko than it was mine for falling in love with Linda. It just meant that we didn't work together anymore. We tried but it didn't work."
Paul McCartney, in his first magazine interview since the split, tells FLIP's Keith Altham... "THE BEATLES ARE FINISHED!"
We didn’t accept Yoko totally, but like I say, how many groups do you know, these days [who would]? I mean, it’s a joke. It’s like Spinal Tap! I mean, it’s Spinal Tap! A joke!
September, 1986 (MPL Communications, London)
And in John’s thing, you know, when as – you obviously know – he was going through a lot of pain when he said a lot of that stuff. And he felt that we were, um, being kind of vindictive towards him and Yoko. In actual fact I just answered a question on an American TV thing – I think we were quite good, looking back on it, and knowing people in life. Many people would’ve just downed tools with a situation like that and just have said: “Look man, she’s not sitting on our amps while we’re making a film.” I mean, that wouldn’t be unheard of. I mean, Sean Penn... do you know what I mean? Most people would just say, “We’re not having this person here. Don’t care how much you love her.”
But we were actually quite supportive. Not supportive enough, you know; it would have been nice to have been really supportive because then we could look back and say, “Weren’t we really terrific?” But looking back on it, I think we were okay. We were never really that mean to them. But I think a lot of the time John suspected meanness where it wasn’t really there.
September, 1986 (MPL Communications, London)
I’ve already mentioned how in September 1969 we were in a meeting and talking about future plans, and John said, ‘Well, I’m not doing it. I’m leaving. Bye.’ In the ensuing moments, he was giggling and saying how this felt really thrilling, like telling someone you’re going to divorce them and then laughing. At the time, obviously, that was wildly hurtful. Talk about a knockout blow. You’re lying on the canvas, and he’s giggling and telling you how good it feels to have just knocked you out. It took a while, but I suppose I eventually got with the programme. This was my best mate from my youth, the collaborator with whom I’d done some of the best work of the twentieth century (he said, modestly). If he fell in love with this woman, what did that have to do with me? Not only did I have to let him do it, but I had to admire him for doing it. That was the position I eventually reached. There was nothing else I could do but be cool with it.
Paul McCartney, on “Get Back”. In The Lyrics (2021).
MANSFIELD: But, you know, [after John showed me the pictures of himself and Yoko nude for the album cover of Two Virgins], I asked Paul about this. And this, to me, is indicative of their relationship, maybe as much as anything I [had] ever heard. I said, “Paul, you know, what do you think about this?” And Paul says, “I don’t know.” He said, “I don’t really agree with John. But I just am going to figure that John’s ahead of me on this, and that someday I’ll understand and I’ll catch up. So, you know, I’m okay.” ROSEN: And what did that reaction tell you about their relationship? MANSFIELD: That it was an extremely deep relationship.
Ken Mansfield (record label executive and Apple Records U.S. manager), interview w/ James Rosen for Fox News. (December 4th-5th, 2007)
John and Yoko had to visit Sir Joseph Lockwood of EMI with the nude photos to ensure that he would allow their use and there wouldn’t be any censorship problems. Although he personally didn’t like the album or photographs, Paul accompanied the two of them to their meeting. Sir Joseph thought that the fans would be outraged and the Beatles’ reputation would be damaged, but Yoko told him: ‘It’s art.’ Lockwood said: ‘Well, I should find some better bodies to put on the cover than your two. They’re not very attractive. Paul McCartney would look better naked than you.”
The Paul McCartney Encyclopedia by Bill Harry. (also... rekt lmao)
So that – I think, in order to kind of say to Yoko, “Look, my life is now yours,” he had to say things like, “The Beatles were bastards, we were total jerks, we never wrote anything good…” Which I think was rubbish, basically. And as I say, you have to realize that some of that time he was on heroin – so he’s not going to be just talking absolutely lucidly all the time, there. Some of the times, he was having other sorts of problems…
1989, Paul
And I think we would all have continued the Beatles, but Yoko came along, John fell wildly in love with her, he needed a big, big change in his life and he got it! He came to live in New York, he kind of threw over all his English [pause] contacts and everything. And, you know, can’t blame him! If that’s what he wants to do in his life! So we had to kind of, fade into the background to allow them to have their relationship. What were we gonna do, ringin’ him up? ‘Hey John, you know, hey, come and see me! Leave Yoko!’ No, that obviously never gonna happen. [pause] See, you had to let him do what he wanted, and he- he did you know… And he enjoyed it.
Paul McCartney on John’s early 70′s attacks as a sign of his feelings towards him. Interviewed by Bob Costa, 1991.
“. . . I mean, I think really what it was, really all that happened was that John fell in love. With Yoko. And so, with such a powerful alliance like that, it was difficult for him to still be seeing me. It was as if I was another girlfriend, almost. Our relationship was a strong relationship. And if he was to start a new relationship, he had to put this other one away. And I understood that. I mean, I couldn’t stand in the way of someone who’d fallen in love. You can’t say, “Who’s this?” You can’t really do that. If I was a girl, maybe I could go out and… But you know I mean in this case I just sort of said, right – I mean, I didn’t say anything, but I could see that was the way it was going to go, and that Yoko would be very sort of powerful for him. So um, we all had to get out the way.”
Paul McCartney, interview with German tv program Exclusiv, April 1985.
PAUL: ‘Cause she’s very much to do with it from John’s angle, that’s the thing, you know. And I – the thing is that I – there’s— Again, like, there’s always only two answers. One is to fight it, and fight her, and try and get The Beatles back to four people without Yoko, and sort of ask her to sit down at the board meetings. Or else, the other thing is to just realize that she’s there, you know. And he’s not gonna sort of – split with her, just for our sakes.
Twickenham, January 13th, 1969
PAUL: Yeah, see, that’s the thing. The only one time we’ve actually done it, she’s agreed. She really is alright. It’s like, it’s the thought of her being there when some of— [faltering] And then you don’t talk to John, so then he doesn’t talk to you, you know. And it’s like, you can screw it up just as much because she’s there, as – as John’s relying on her because she’s there. So that’s the thing. You know, but I mean, like, you’ll notice, if John – if you’re onto a beam with John about something, then he really isn’t, you know, he really won’t let Yoko talk about it. Because he knows when you’re on a beam, and he knows about it, and you’ll – you can talk straighter to him.
Twickenham, January 13th, 1969
‘All new wives don’t like their husband’s old friends or cronies,’ he replies. ‘I don’t think [Yoko] liked Paul. I think Paul was ready to like Yoko. Maybe she saw Paul as a threat. It was a partnership. The partnership should have been John and Yoko, not John and Paul. I am not saying it was a deliberate process, but it was a natural process. John had a new partner: she. Yoko Ono. It was going to be John and Yoko’s songs and not Paul and John’s songs.’
Don Short (newsman), c/o Sandra Shevey, The Other Side of Lennon.(1990)
As the meeting was drawing to a weary close, John, not this day with Yoko, who hadn’t seemed particularly connected with what was going on, said he wanted to play us a tape he and Yoko had made. He got up and put the cassette into the tape machine and stood beside it as we listened. The soft murmuring voices did not at first signal their purpose. It was a man and a woman but hard to hear, the microphone having been at a distance. I wondered if the lack of clarity was the point. Were we even meant to understand what was going on, was it a kind of artwork where we would not be able to put the voices into a context, and was context important? I felt perhaps this was something John and Yoko were examining. But then, after a few minutes, it became clear. John and Yoko were making love, with endearments, giggles, heavy breathing, both real and satirical, and the occasional more direct sounds of pleasure reaching for climax, all recorded by the faraway microphone. But there was something innocent about it too, as though they were engaged in a sweet serious game. John clicked the off button and turned again to look toward the table, his eyebrows quizzical above his round glasses, seemingly genuinely curious about what reaction his little tape would elicit. However often they’d shared small rooms in Hamburg, whatever they knew of each other’s love and sex lives, this tape seemed to have stopped the other three cold. Perhaps it touched a reserve of residual Northern reticence. After a palpable silence, Paul said, “Well, that’s an interesting one.” The others muttered something and the meeting was over. It occured to me as I was walking down the stairs that what we’d heard could have been an expression of 1960s freedom and openness but was it more likely that it was as if a gauntlet had been thrown down? “You need to understand that this is where she and I are now. I don’t want to hold your hand anymore.”
Michael Lindsay-Hogg (filmmaker), Luck and Circumstance: A Coming of Age in Hollywood, New York, and Points Beyond. (2011)
“Paul, in his usual way, tried to be the nice guy and was open-minded about John’s weird choice,” says Brown. “He invited them to stay at [his house in] Cavendish Avenue for a while.” The day after Cynthia’s return, they moved into the second-floor guest bedroom and made themselves at home. “But the problem was that Yoko wasn’t a very warm person—not even able to say thank you in response to anything Paul did for them. And he went miles out of his way to make them feel welcome, being a nice guy. So that didn’t last very long.”
The Beatles – Bob Spitz
PMcC: I always had the impression that Klein had got them to go with him because he was the only one who was ever sympathetic to Yoko. Klein saw the Yoko connection and told Yoko that he would do a lot for her. Give Yoko a lot. And that was basically what John and Yoko wanted, recognition for Yoko. We found her sitting on our amps, and like a football team, an all-male thing, you really don’t like to see a chick in the middle of the team. It’s a disturbing thing, they think it throws them off the game or whatever it was, and these were the reasons that I thought, Well, this is crazy, we’re gonna have Yoko in the group next.
SG: She was giving you advice in the studio?
PMcC: Well, she was definitely turning up. Looking at it now, I feel a bit sorry for her because, if only I had been able to understand what the situation was and think, wait a minute, here’s a girl who’s not had enough attention. I can now not make this into a major crisis and just sort of say, “Sure, what harm is she doing on the amps?” I know they would have really loved me. You know, we didn’t like Yoko at first, and people did call her ugly and stuff, and that must be hard for someone who loves someone and is so passionately in love with them, but I still can’t—I’m still trying to see his point of view. What was the point of all that?

PAUL: But it’s just funny to sort of realise that after this is all over, you’ll be off in a black bag somewhere – on the Albert Hall, you know. JOHN: Yes. PAUL: And sort of doing shows and stuff, and you know, digging— JOHN: Yeah, but I— PAUL: —digging that thing of it.

Yoko had evidently approached Paul McCartney about appearing in the film, as the Beatles' road manager Mal Evans penned in his diary: "PAUL HAS APPOINTMENT WITH JAPANESE LADY WHO WANTS TO PHOTOGRAPH HIS BOTTOM." Presumably Paul declined, and one must wonder if the same invitation might have been extended to John.
Chip Madinger, Lennonology Volume 1: Strange Days Indeed. (2015) (note: unforgivable rudeness on Paul's part to both Yoko and all of us who would have benefited from him featuring in "Bottoms")
“I was in India meditating about the album, when it suddenly hit me. I wrote Yoko telling her that I planned to have her in the nude on the cover. She was quite surprised, but nowhere near as much as George and Paul. “Paul gave me long lectures about it, and said ‘Is there really any need for this? ‘It took me five months to persuade them.
NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS, JUNE 7, 1969
He wasn’t happy. But the big things that were driving him mad were beyond me. He kept on working and writing, but when John came over, all he could talk about was how much he loved Yoko. That disturbed Paul. In spite of John’s obvious happiness, Paul stifled his jealousy with not-very-cute bursts of racist crap.
Francie Schwartz - Body Count
John & Yoko's perspective:
It’s the same. You can quote Paul, it’s probably in the papers, he said it many times at first he hated Yoko and then he got to like her. But, it’s too late for me. I’m for Yoko. Why should she take that kind of shit from those people? They were writing about her looking miserable in the Let It Be film, but you sit through 60 sessions with the most bigheaded, up-tight people on earth and see what its fuckin’ like and be insulted — just because you love someone — and George, shit, insulted her right to her face in the Apple office at the beginning, just being ‘straight-forward,’ you know that game of ‘I’m going to be up front,’ because this is what we’ve heard and Dylan and a few people said she’d got a lousy name in New York, and you give off bad vibes. That’s what George said to her! And we both sat through it. I didn’t hit him, I don’t know why.
I was always hoping that they would come around. I couldn’t believe it, and they all sat there with their wives, like a fucking jury and judged us and the only thing I did was write that piece (Rolling Stone, April 16th, 1970) about “some of our beast friends” in my usual way — because I was never honest enough, I always had to write in that gobbly-gook — and that’s what they did to us.
Ringo was all right, so was Maureen, but the other two really gave it to us. I’ll never forgive them, I don’t care what fuckin’ shit about Hare Krishna and God and Paul with his “Well, I’ve changed me mind.” I can’t forgive ’em for that, really. Although I can’t help still loving them either.
John Lennon: The Rolling Stone Interview, Part One
JOHN: But I understand how they felt, because if it had been Paul or George and Ringo that had fallen in love with somebody and gotten totally involved, suddenly… It wasn’t like, you know, somebody – George coming in and saying, “I’m going to work with Eric Clapton in a band now, and screw you.” It wasn’t that kind of thing at all. It was just suddenly this involvement.
December 6th, 1980: Andy Peebles talks to John and Yoko
“Lennon stated that “there’s some underlying thing about Yoko in [Get Back]”, saying that McCartney looked at Yoko Ono in the studio every time he sang “Get back to where you once belonged””
David Sheff, All We are Saying: The Last Major Interview with John Lennon and Yoko Ono
TRYNKA: ‘The Ballad of John And Yoko’, with Paul playing drums and bass, seemed like Paul’s tribute to you. Was that the case? YOKO: Yeah. I thought that was beautiful. Paul was trying to be diplomatic about the situation, try to make it well... He meant well. There were other instances where he’d do things that were meant well.
Yoko Ono, interview w/ Paul Trynka for MOJO. (May, 2003)
YOKO: Even now, I just read that Paul said, “I understand that he wants to be with her, but why does he have to be with her all the time?” JOHN: Yoko, do you still have to carry that cross? That was years ago. YOKO: No, no, no. He said it recently. I mean, what happened with John is that I sort of went to bed with this guy that I liked and suddenly the next morning I see these three guys standing there with resentful eyes. SHEFF: Do you think that kind of attitude from people was also jealousy? JOHN: It’s a kind of jealousy. People can’t stand people being in love. They absolutely can’t stand it. They want to pull you down in the hole they’re in.
John Lennon and Yoko Ono, interview w/ David Sheff for Playboy. (September, 1980)
‘He wanted me to be part of the group,’ Yoko says. ‘He created the group, so he thought the others should accept that. I didn’t particularly want to be part of them… I couldn’t see how I would fit in, but John was certain I would. He kept saying, ‘They’re very sensitive … Paul is into Stockhausen… They can do your thing…’ He thought the other Beatles would go for it; he was trying to persuade me.’”
Philip Norman’s 2008 biography Lennon
After the initial embarrassment, that how Paul is being very nice to me, he’s nice and a very, str- on the level, straight, sense, like wherever there’s something like happening at the Apple, he explains to me, as if I should know. And also whenever there’s something like they need a light man, or something like that he asks me if I know of anybody, things like that. And like I can see that he’s just now suddenly changing his attitude, like his being, he’s treating me with respect, not because it’s me, but because I belong to John. I hope that’s what it is because that would be nice. And I feel like he’s my younger brother or something like that. I’m sure that if he had been a woman or something, he would have been a great threat, because there’s something definitely very strong with me, John, and Paul.
Revolution Chaos Tape – Yoko Ono, June 4, 1968
"The line [the walrus was Paul] was put in partly because I was feeling guilty because I was with Yoko and I was leaving Paul. It's a very perverse way of saying to Paul: 'here, have this crumb, this illusion, this stroke - because I'm leaving.'" -John
Playboy, 1980
JOHN: And throwing in the line “the Walrus was Paul” just to confuse everybody a bit more. And because I felt slightly guilty because I’d got Yoko, and he’d got nothing, and I was gonna quit. [laughs; bleak] And so I thought ‘Walrus’ has now become [in] meaning, “I am the one.” It didn’t mean that in the song, originally. It just meant I’m the – it could have been I’m the – “I’m The Fox Terrier,” you know. I mean, it’s just a bit of poetry.
August, 1980: John talks to Playboy writer David Sheff about ‘Glass Onion’.
“Still, the real reason that people disliked Yoko was because she ordered them about and sent them on errands in a particularly rude way; she was brought up with servants, and that’s how she treated the staff of Apple. George found it particularly galling that she never gave the Beatles their definite article. He told me, ‘She would say, “Beatles do this” and “Beatles do that”, and we would say, “Uh, it’s the Beatles actually, love.” She’d look at you and say, “Beatles do this.”’ And he laughed and shrugged his shoulders. Whether Yoko was ever aware of the disruption her presence caused to the Beatles’ working practices I don’t know. Some people thought she was so involved in her own work and self-interest that she didn’t notice; others thought that it was a deliberate ploy to separate John off from the others.”

wanted top and bottom surgery. irl modern phalloplasty can take skin grafts from the arm and for sillies shiro did that. but on the arm he lost. can’t even show off his cool graft scar 🙄 stupid galra
him and adam are t4t. he picked the name adam because his deadname is eve and he’s the funniest ever
keith
trans man. he/him. realized at like 6
randomly walked up to his dad and said “pops i wanna be a boy” and his dad went “okay son :^)” and helped him with picking a new name and pronouns. that’s why he ended up with keith of all names
his dad planned on helping him with puberty blockers and hrt because keith said he wanted it but. he died before keith got to that age :^(
so unfortunately keith had to go thru one puberty and then another. and THEN he gets a weird galra puberty in his 20s. puberties gerog
shiro was the one to help him get access to testosterone and top surgery <3 yay trans brotherhood ^_^
keith doesn’t care about his junk enough to get bottom surgery tho. he really only got top surgery to get cool ass scars on his chest. he doesn’t give a shit about gender essentialism and isn’t afraid to stab a transphobe ❤️
pidge
trans girl. she/her. also realized when she was real young
same as keith she was just one day like “i wanna be a girl” and her parents were the same and immediately accepted her and helped her with transitioning (she had a bit more social transitioning tho because she wasn’t in the middle of bum fuck nowhere)
unlike keith tho she got to do puberty blockers and start e as a tween and stuff. good for her!
she picked the name katie but it’s not short for anything. she gets the question all the time and she always rolls her eyes
detransitioning for the garrison sucked like ass and she hated it but she did it for her family. coming out to the team was a huge weight off her shoulders
she has a love/hate relationship with femininity but i already went through all that in another post so i’m linking it here. smiles 😁
lance
bigender man/woman. she/he. realizes it while with team voltron
THEE most obvious egg ever. also very obvious bisexual but hasn’t realized that either. it’s painful to watch sometimes (send help to hunk because you know he immediately clocked lance)
he likes women so much because he’s straight!!!! and a lady’s man!!!!!!!!! he doesn’t wanna be a girl and even if he did that’s a universal unspoken secret that all boys have but agree to never talk about!!!!!!!!!!!!
once pidge comes out the rest of the team have more casual talks about being trans and lance is so tbh creature at them. hunk definitely gossips about how clear the closet is behind lance’s back #messy
lance never realizes on her own what happens is keith tells her despite hunk saying that that’s rude. he blatantly tells lance that she obviously wants to be a girl and that she can do that if she wants to. and when she says she likes being a guy keith says she can be both if she wants. she can do whatever she wants forever
after that she thinks about it for like a day and then is like “yayyyyy i’m a boy and a girl and i like boys and girls ^_^”
she has soooo much fun with femininity she plays dress up and is so pretty ❤️ she is indeed a lady’s man but also very clearly wanted to be beautiful like ladies are. and she is ladies!! yayyyyy
didn’t change her name because she loves being leandro alvarez-núñez-cuesta-espinosa so so much ❤️❤️
hunk
agender. any pronouns. realized as a teen
just fully doesn’t care about gender. obviously will respect people’s genders but like. gender as a concept is irrelevant to him and he opted out of gender. he’s too autistic for it tbh
use whatever pronouns you want. make up funny pronouns. fuck it we ball
“this is hunk bong’s my best friend i love bong so much” “lance oh my god”
hunk is a childhood nickname and only family (and lance) know his birthname. didn’t care enough to change it when coming out. he likes his name!! why change it!!
he’s a genius mechanic with access to super advanced alien technology so for funsies he invents a machine that can do instant top and/or bottom surgery with no problem. he can mess around with it for funsies or fashion or whatever. and ofc the team has free access to it as well <3 the only one to use it often tho is lance #besties
allura
trans girl. she/her. realized not long before the events of the show
the post about trans allura that inspired this whole post here
was able to use her shapeshifting powers to her transvantage (trans advantage)
her being out for not long before the war is why she was so excited that pidge is a girl. she’s a girl making friends with other girls!!!!!! and that excitement doubles when learning that pidge is earth’s equivalent of trans yayyyyy
in my mind the notion of people fitting into gender roles on altea is the same vibe as the notion of women wearing skirts not pants irl. like that’s an outdated idea but not that outdated unfortunately :^/
i don’t think there was major misogyny or transphobia on altea tho. not sure if it makes sense to anyone else but it makes sense in my mind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
coran
nonbinary. any pronouns
when allura came out she sat down with her parents and coran (honorary third parent) and talked about her feelings and thoughts on gender as a whole. coran went “oh. is that not how cis people think?”
he’s not a man or a woman but he’s not sure what he is exactly. he’s coran!
he’d make homemade hrt. may or may not have weird side effects

So In an alternate reality somewhere, if the writers of VLD decided, for whatever reason, make the klance ship canon, how would they write it? Or how would you have liked them to write it?
Oddly enough I actually have one very specific idea that has been in my brain since before season 8 aired. And I do actually feel like it would have fit in with the show, like canonically.
So, okay:
Shows like AtLA and Korra had a silly recap episode in their last season. And I had the thought "what if VLD did the same thing?"
The basic premise of the recap episode is Lance telling his family about everything that happened to them while with Voltron.
At first he starts out in his usual Lance manner - bragging a bit, putting on a show - but then as he keeps going, he starts to talk more seriously. He tells them about all the intense and scary stuff they went through, and he really starts to speak from the heart.
Afterwards we get to see his family's reaction - and they are all just... sitting there, staring at him.
And Lance is like "What? Why are you all looking at me like that?"
And Rachel (maybe) smirks at him. "Wow. You really must like that Keith guy, huh?"
And Lance is even more confused, until Veronica goes over to him and is like "Lance...you realize that 90% of what you told us was about Keith, right?"
Basically, as Lance is telling his family about their adventures, it turns into him recapping everything with this intense focus on what Keith was doing (and how it made Lance feel) - "Keith got my lion back" and "Keith says we had a bonding moment but -" and "And then he just left us, can you believe it?" and "Keith was in the Altean ship and he looked so different - bigger and cooler and handsome."
The episode would end with him having a realization of how much Keith actually meant to him - and the following episodes of the final season, we would get to see Lance fully coming to embrace the idea that he had always had these feelings for Keith. And all he needed was a bit of outside perspective to nudge him in the direction of what he truly wanted and needed.
And the thing is, it actually would have been really easy, because all they would have needed to do was continue what they started. There were so many moments in the early seasons that were alluding to something more between Keith and Lance.
And to start the show with Lance being a cocky womanizer and ending it with him actually realizing he was bisexual and he had found a much deeper connection with his former rival - chef's kiss.
Making klance canon would have been easy to write, and it would have explained why so many things focused on the two of them in ways that definitely did not feel just platonic. Why Lance was so depressed while Keith was gone. Why he was always so worried and, like, protective over Keith when he went off to do something alone and reckless. Why he went so far out of his way to watch the sunset with Keith. Why did they really pick each other in the game show? Why did Keith really leave the team after his "one paladin too many" conversation with Lance? Why a thousand more things that are slipping my brain right now.
I believe there were certain restrictions from the studios on what they were willing/able to show, but it's not like they had to explicitly show klance making out or something to prove they were together. If they had actually been able to canonically have klance be endgame, I think they would have ended it similar to Korra. Where Keith and Lance would just have a moment where they take each others hands and smile at one another - or something equally as subtle.
On a more personal "my particular vibe" note, I would have liked them to write it to include things like:
Keith going full on rage Galra, and Lance having to sword fight him back to himself
The two of them having a much needed emotional conversation - with yelling and crying - where they learned how close they both came to actually permanently dying.
Lance and Allura having an emotional conversation about how they wanted to be friends with each other - because that's equally as important as having a love interest.
Keith and Lance fighting back to back on the ground in a final, epic showdown.
Basically just overall more emotions and character interactions tbh
The thing that I think bugged so many fans - and why this ship/this show is still a sore spot for many people - is because they were building something that had to do with klance in the beginning, and they just didn't follow through.
But if they had just continued in the direction they were headed, I fully believe klance would have been canon because it would have been so easy to make happen.

I’d like to (finally) talk about this interview with Mark Thompson, Narrative Director on Far Cry 4:
youtube
I love it when devs talk about their work because it’s always super interesting and informative! This video is no exception.
But what struck me most when I first saw the interview is what he says about Far Cry 3, a title he also worked on as a Level Design Director, which I believe means he was not (or barely) involved in the writing of the script. When he mentions what he thinks the issues with the game were and what had to be “fixed” in Far Cry 4, the thing is that... he often contradicts what Jeffrey Yohalem, Lead Writer on Far Cry 3, explained in various articles.
Under the cut, I highlighted some parts of Mark Thompson’s interview (in red) and compared them to Jeffrey Yohalem’s words (in blue, with the sources) so you can see how different their points of view are.
In this case, when it comes to the story and meaning of Far Cry 3, I’m inclined to give more credence to the Lead Writer’s explanations, but I think this example perfectly illustrates how even people who worked on the same project can have very different (and sometimes equally valid) opinions, understandings, and feelings about it, and why it can therefore be difficult for the audience to determine what the “truth” or the “right” interpretation is…
Open world vs story
MT: We ended up shipping a game where the open world had a lot of cool stuff, but it didn’t have a lot of depth or meaning, and it had almost no connection to what was happening in the story. And in fact, in some ways, the two were kind of opposed and they were kind of conflicting each other. So, on one hand, the story itself had this ticking time bomb of “I have these friends that I need to rescue, but holy sh*t, collecting plants, finding that next animal I need for the next upgrade, getting that next skill point… Oh, look, there’s a radio tower! Wait, wasn’t I heading to that outpost?” And then you’re like, “Oh yeah, sh*t, my friend Keith’s trapped in the basement, I should probably go rescue him… I’m a terrible friend.” That was my main goal: fix this sh*t and make sure that the story and the open world speak to each other, complement each other; strip everything down so that the story and the open world are the same thing and it’s the same game.
JY: People who have looked at the surface of the game think that the story and the game are at war with each other as they are in most games, with the story just plugging potholes and the gameplay is going along its merry way. I think it’s very exaggerated that, “Oh, go save the friends! Go save the friends!” but most people are out on the island doing all this other crazy stuff and experiencing the gameplay. And that’s actually the point of the story. It’s not a game about go save your friends. It’s a game about – doing a lot of picking skins from things, and wait, it’s just a pile of meat – this doesn’t even make sense, yet I’m still doing it instead of saving the friends. (Rock Paper Shotgun - Dec. 19, 2012)
The “white savior” trope
MT: We were definitely aware of some of the tropes that we fell into - unintentionally in some cases, intentionally in some - and (…) almost the first thing that we did was decide how we were gonna address the white savior trope, the outsider who comes in and helps simple people with his outsider’s kind of more advanced understanding of the world. (...) The first thing we said was, “This guy is from Kyrat, no matter what happens. That is the most important thing; he is part of this world, he belongs here.”
JY: “It’s a first-person game, and Jason is a 25-year old white guy from Los Angeles. From Hollywood. So his view of what’s going on on this island is his own view, and you happen to be looking through his eyes, so you’re seeing his view,” Yohalem explained. “It’s set on an island in the South Pacific, so immediately the thing that comes to mind is the white colonial trope, the Avatar trope. I started with that, and it’s like, ‘Here’s what pop culture thinks about traveling to a new place,’ and the funny thing is, that’s an exaggeration of most games, they just don’t expose it. (The Penny Arcade Report - Dec. 17, 2012)
JY: There’s a reason why Jason is a 25 year old white guy from Hollywood – these are all ideas that are in his head. You’re seeing things through his eyes. (...) It’s not that [Citra] needed a white saviour at all. She didn’t need a white guy at all. She was just looking for the ultimate warrior and someone to be her gun. (...) If this was about the white messiah motif, would I be so stupid as to have a main character’s nickname be Snow White? I’m making fun of that! (Rock Paper Shotgun - Dec. 19, 2012)
The player and the protagonist
MT: When we were doing the script review, almost immediately, the first thing we would do would be, “Okay, so how many lines does Ajay have? Okay, cut that by 75%”, and then we would review it and then cut out even more. Whenever possible, we would set up a scenario where we know or we think we know how players would react, and so we would remove the line that the character would actually say and then have the other person react to it. “Oh, you think that, do you?” - in that kind of way, so they’re like, “Oh f*ck, how did he know I was gonna say that?” Whereas, if the protagonist said that line, they’re like, “Oof, I wouldn’t have said that”, and then suddenly you’re kind of broken out of the experience. (…) When you’re in first-person, all you hear is this disconnected voice that might not be agreeing with what you’re doing. So, again, it’s just about stripping away those barriers of immersion so you can imagine yourself in this scenario.
JY: In Far Cry 3, Jason is a character and he’s not the player. The player is another character in the game. Sometimes Jason disagrees with the player, and sometimes Jason agrees with him. And the magic of that is that then it doesn’t matter! Basically, as long as the whole narrative is directed towards what the player is feeling—which for me is how videogames should be—then I get to target Jason as a resource where players can go: “I disagree with Jason.” And the player gets to convince Jason to do something else. So instead of trying to force the two of them together, I’ve decoupled them. (Killscreen - Dec. 12, 2012)

hiii you’re headcannons are a such delight!! do you have any of hs au klance?
oh stars!! first off, thank you! I love that I can make you happy with my silly little ideas. Second, of course I have hs au headcanons!!
Keith and Lance sit next to each other in Biology, so they're bound to be lab partners. At first they really don't like each other. Lance thinks Keith is always trying to one up him, and Keith thinks Lance is insufferable.
By the time they're assigned probably their third project together, they decide that doing research separately is just too conflicting, so they agree to meet at The Park™️.
They start discussing stuff and writing down any relevant info they cover, but inevitably, they start getting off track. They start talking about clouds, which leads to the rain, rain leads to the ocean, the ocean leads to fish, then to what Lance had for dinner last night, favorite foods, favorite pass-times, family, and so on.
They each go home thinking that maybe, just maybe, the other isn't so bad.
Keith starts listening to Lance whenever he goes on rants, he engages, asks questions, and brings up new ideas.
Lance starts seeing Keith flaws, he starts seeing that they aren't too different, and that they're much closer to the same level than he'd thought.
In time, they both start to admire each other for different reasons.
Keith notices the way Lance talks about certain topics, how the glow in his eyes will shift when someone he does or doesn't like enters the classroom, the way he bites his lips when he's concentrated, or how he dulls when he gets texts from certain people, (cough cough, a boyfriend because conflict, cough cough).
Lance looks up to Keith, he admires how he can do pretty much anything he puts his mind to, how he never gets caught up in the local drama, how no matter what rumors are spread, he always walks with confidence and purpose.
One day, Lance comes into class looking distant and reclusive. Keith tries to ask him about it, but his only response is "We can talk about it later."
And so they go through Biology hardly speaking a word. Keith feels his stomach pooling with anxiety, wondering if it was something he did, though he knows he hasn't done anything wrong... has he?
Time goes by slowly. Minutes feel like hours. An hour feels like days. But eventually the bell finally rings, and the day is over.
Lance stands and gathers his things, and he's barely gotten his bag on his back before Keith grabs his wrist and drags him into an empty room.
"So, what is it? What's going on?" The sharpness in Keith's voice makes him come off a bit more irritated than he his, and naturally it's taken the wrong way.
Lance scoffs and crosses his arms, "What's got you so pissed off?"
Keith sighs, "I didn't mean to say it like that." And he asks again in a much gentler tone, "What's going on?"
"My uh... Well, I found my partner shoving his tongue down some other guys throat earlier this morning.... Again.... And then before Biology he had the audacity to tell me to stop talking to you, so I dumped him..."
"..."
"You aren't telling me everything. Something happened after that."
"Gods, I hate how well you know me..."
"So, what was it?"
"He... Uhm.. He told me that nobody could ever love me the way he did... He said he was the only one who could love me.. The only one that knew me and still cared... He said my friends talked about me, and even though I know they don't I still-"
At this point, tears are dripping from his eyes, his voice is cracking on every other word, and he's curling in on himself.
Keith pulls him into a hug, silently swearing on every breath that he'll make things better for him.
"If it makes a difference... I think you're pretty cool.."
"Yeah, thanks.."
Lance dries his tears and takes a step back, "We should probably go. My mom's gonna kill me if I miss the bus.. And plus if Rachel finds us in here, we'll never hear the end of it."
Keith nods and they leave the room.
Agghhh it was so hard not to turn this into a confession, i didn't want too because the last one was a confession and using the same idea that close together goes against my author brain.
also they're in choir together.
and they joined the volleyball club (shush i'm rewatching Haikyuu)
Keith is a setter, Lance is a Libero. You cannot change my mind.
during lunch they complain about teachers and gossip with each other

since it's a rather prevalent belief that keith pretty much only criticizes matthew in the press, here are some of the good things keith's said all throughout matthew's career that people seem to be unaware of because it's rarely posted:
“It was great. He’s such a great kid. He works hard and he loves the game of hockey,” Dad said after his son’s five-point performance.
June 2012
“He’s more skilled than I was,” Keith says. “These kids do stuff at a young age I couldn’t do as a pro. We’re happy with the decision (to play in London). I just wish I got a chance to see him more.”
January 2016
“He always likes to talk about it,” Keith said. “It’s funny when he doesn’t play well, he doesn’t like to call you. Knowing the game and knowing I probably had more bad games than he’ll ever have, I understand that part of the game. He’s trying to learn on his own, but he still loves to call and talk about the game and situations, so that’s pretty neat for me.”
December 2016
"He takes chances to make plays and can make those plays in tight spaces. His hockey sense, he had that from an early age. And he's always had that confidence. He's approaching things like a 28-year-old."
January 2017
“He watches hockey 24-7. He knows every player in the league. He wants to figure out every player in the league. He wants to know their tendencies. He’s a student of the game. That’s what I love about him.”
February 2018
“These boys deserve all the credit. They did all the work. It’s fun to see them have success,” he said. “It’s nice to be drafted high. But it’s what you do after that makes it count.”
June 2018
“I’m embarrassed to say this, but he probably knows a lot more than me right now when it comes to all that,” said Keith. “He’s a history buff. It’s unbelievable how much he knows. He just has that gift where he’s a hockey guy and the only thing that matters to him is hockey. He knows everything, I’m telling you. Plays. Players. Coaches. Drafts. Everything."
January 2019
“[Matthew’s] very mature beyond his years and that environment of being there will give him a leg up of not being nervous,” said Keith. “Whether he does some of the events or just being in the locker room with superstars, he’ll be fine. He’ll adjust pretty quickly. I think it showed the way they came into the league, the environment they were always put in. They’re not timid, yet they’re respectful in those instances.”
January 2020
“I’m proud of Matthew, he’s done a great job,” said Keith. "He’s showing his maturity. It’s fun to watch and right now him and his linemates have it going."
April 2022
"[Matthew] is the most generous kid I have ever met, what he did down in Florida (for the family all-star weekend) was incredible, everything, he took care of everything."
March 2023
