"Are you the friends or relative of Miss Shishou?" the doctor asks as he looks over the bunch of young people in their early 20's, all wearing the same uniform which he can only guess is a gang uniform. 

"Yes, sir" Draken replies eagerly. "How is she, is she still alive?"

"Yes, we been able to stabilize her for now but she has lost a lot of blood we have to keep her overnight and if she survives the night there is a big chance she will recover but as right now, she has 50-50 chance to survive. Maybe if she would've been admitted to the hospital sooner, maybe right away after she enquired the injury her chances of survival would be higher, but like this... I'm sorry" he shakes his head. "The best we can do right now is pray" 

As the doctor says that the tall blonde male suddenly starts to feel dizzy and stumbles a bit holding his head, trying to regain his balance. "Any chance... we could go in? Even if just one of us?" 

"Two of you at max and not for long" the doctor says then bows his head before walking off. 

"Emma, you and Mikey should go in" Draken says as he looks at her then try to look for Mikey who once again disappeared. "Where the fuck is Manjiro?!" he almost yells, clenching his fist and for the first time in a very long time he feel like he's about to break down crying.

"Ken, please calm down" Emma says in a calmer tone hoping it will calm the beanpole down but he is ready to murder the girl's brother. 

"Mikey... this might be the last chance you'll see her..." Mitsuya says in a serious tone as he looks at his friend who's standing just around the corner not wanting to face anyone. He just stays quiet and the captain loses his patience and steps out from around the corner. "He is right here, sorry... we went to patch up his hands" the silver haired explains meanwhile the short blonde's giving him a glare.

"Go instead of me Kenchin" he says in a monotone voice with an emotionless face; a face only she can read. "You deserve it more than me"

Emma watches the two young men and she knows they both want to see her and she knows they both love her, she can tell by the way both act around her, and honestly? Deep down it makes her happy. As much as she loves Angel, she loves her brothers more. "You two can go in" she speaks up with a small smile.

"Emma, no-" Draken would start but she motions for him to be quiet.

"I know she is going to be okay, I'll see her in the morning, she needs her two favourite idiots now, more than ever" she says in a soft tone holding her tears back as while trying to figure out if she was trying to convince them or herself. She just knew she had to present herself so sure and positive otherwise they would never take her place. 

"Are you absolutely, sure, Em?" the tall one asks in a genuine tone as she looks down at the girl.

"Absolutely" she smiles at him then her brother.

"Thank you" Mikey says quietly then starts walking towards her room. 

"Thank you, bunny" Draken says softly then follows the short male towards the room where she is currently staying. 

Once they walk in they both just stand there in silence, frozen in their place as they just watch their beloved girl fighting for her life, hooked onto various machines. The girl who always never afraid of going against them or anyone for that matter, the girl who knocked Hanma Shuji out with a simple kick, the girl who always greets them with a big smile and smacks them when they're being nuisances, that girl is now laying here barely clinging onto life.

"Did you hear what the doctor said...?" Draken breaks the silence finally but he just can't face his shorter friend. 

"I did" Mikey replies in the same monotone voice. "It's all my fault..." 

"You're a fucking idiot Mikey, how is this your fault?" Draken growls then calms himself. "Look.. we can discuss your self pity later, we're here for Angel" he says then looks at the young woman laying on the hospital bed. "She's still beautiful..." 

"As always" Mikey agrees almost surprising the other male. "You really think I feel nothing for her?" he cocks a brow then shakes his head. "The last thing she said to me was "I'll always be by your side, Manjiro" you better be... I'm nothing without you..." he says quietly as he looks at the girl. "She's my pride." 

"I know she is Mikey... Everyone can see how much you care for her and how much you love her, but this is why I don't understand how could you make that deal..." Draken shakes his head.

"Because I knew we won't lose. I had faith in each and every one of you. And in the off chance... if we would've have actually lost... I already had a back up plan" he says in a dark tone which sent chills down the other's spine, he didn't know what Mikey had planned but he knew when it  comes to Angel, the young commander wouldn't hesitate to kill. "Either way, Angel would have been safe...or I thought, but here we are" he clenches his fist.

"Don't you dare leave us for Baji..." Draken whispers as he looks at her a tear drop rolls down his strong cheek.

"She won't" Mikey says as he finally looks at her and he feel his heart shattering. He already lost so many people, does he has to lose the only person who ever made him feel something?  "You know, she loves you, Kenny" 

Draken sighs then nods. "I know... Just as I love her" he says as he looks at her. 

"You know Kenny, we never really fought, or ever rivalled over anything... but for her? I will beat you and win" he gives his friend a smile who looks up and returns the smile.

"I accept the challenge" he smiles than they shook hands.

"Now to just wait for her to wake up" Mikey stretches and lets out a yawn. He seemed so sure and certain.

Draken just shakes his head, Mikey is so hopeful... and naïve, deep inside he is still that 15 year old kid who wanted to take over the world and believed; if you confident enough in something, it will happen. He admired him for this, he always had his confidence in things when they almost or actually seem lost, no wonder he is the leader of Toman.

"We should go. She needs rest" Mikey says then gives her one last smile before walking out. 

Ken walks over to her bed and just caresses her cheek then leans over her unconscious body and places a soft kiss onto her forehead. "Get better princess, Mikey and I have a gift for you" he says softly then pulls away and let out a deep sigh. 

Once both left the room Mikey motions towards his men. "I have something to do, but you lot, go out and gather as much intel as you can, I want the bastard who stabbed her in front of the shrine in the next 48 hours" he says coldly as he gives the command to his fellow members. The guys just nod in unison before taking their leave following upon their commander's order. 

"Kenchin, please take Emma home and stay with her" he looks at his friend who nods but cocks a brow. 

"What are you gonna do?" he asks in an uneasy tone, not really trusting his friend at the moment.

"My duty" he says in a serious tone then walks off.

The tall just sighs being too tired to babysit his commander, he can only hope he won't do anything stupid. He gently lifts up the tired blonde girl who he was tasked with, though he already had the same idea. Once he arrives at the Sano residency he gently wakes the girl who let's them in the house then instantly goes to the sofa and curls up on it. 

"Em... C'mon. Let's go to bed" Draken pleads with her softly as he crouches down beside her. 

"I don't wanna be alone..." she whispers as her tears starts to fall again even thought she is barely conscious.  

"You won't, I'm staying the night. You can cuddle up to me and sleep in my arms if you want" he offers, finally showing his softer side to the blonde girl, which he realized he has been lacking a lot. He looked at her as a sister for so long he forgot sisters needs affection and care too. 

"Please..." she whispers while her tears just fall down in rivers, seemingly unable to stop. 

"Come on, bunny" he says softly as he gently scoops her up, wrapping her short legs around his waist then taking her into her bedroom and carefully laying her down on the bed. He kicks off his boots and takes off his jacket then climbs into bed next Emma and pulls her into his strong arms wrapping them around her protectively then falling asleep with her.

Like every other day at school, Mikey is sleeping in class with his arms around his face, blocking all the sunlight in the room to get his some sleep.

He always slept in class but this day, he felt extremely tired yet he can't sleep well, he just keeps waking up.

Just when he could finally rest, a voice woke him up and his head shot up, sweat on his forehead and his face oily. "Sano-san, did you fall asleep again?" He turned to his back to see a classmate, worriedly staring at him, he looked haggard but he didn't even care about it before going back to sleep.

"Okay, class, go get five different colored papers." The teacher said and to Draken's dismay, he didn't have whatever the fuck the teacher said.

Before school even started, he thought he didn't need it cause, "it's fucking ninth grade, not preschool," so he didn't buy colored paper, but apparently, they still needed it.

He turns to the person behind him who was getting his own colored papers, as he looks at him, he starts contemplating whether or not he should ask from this guy but he did it anyway, "Give me whatever the fuck the teacher said and you get to keep your bones,"

In silence, he ate dinner with his mum. The sound of silverware clanking on their bowls as well as barely audible munching could be heard.

Hello❤️! So I was wondering if you could create a post about my request that I will tell you now, because I really want to hear your opinion on it.

So my friend and I both watch Tokyo Revengers and we both read the manga and everything and we just love to talk about it. Our opinions and “theories” would mostly be (it includes Mikey), what if Draken was pressured by Mikey into being around Emma, protecting her and in the end loving her.

So our opinion is based on a fact that Draken is doing everything for everyone and putting himself last. First off the nature of Drakens and Mikeys friendship-Draken looked up on Mikey and through the years got the habbit of doing everything he says and doesn't, and now we know that Emma was really important to him as well as her happiness (everyone excluding her as a child, being alone etc.). So what we think was going on is rather in the beggining Mikey was the one pulling the strings between the two and as the years went by-Mikey making Toman and being the leader of it- Draken wasn't in a position to say no as well as the other members of Toman. It was shown that no one has a problem with Emma and even if she was the most likable person ever it is not possible to get along with everyone. basically people couldn't say no to Mikey and couldn't stay on Emma's bad side and in those people we include Draken.

Another point that I already mentioned a lot is Mikey. Through the story it got shown more then once that Mikey lost respect for Draken, for example when Taiju said how Mikey trust Izana more then Draken, and like he knew Draken since they were like 10? or when they had a meeting about letting Kisaki in and yes Mikey was manipulated but he didn't even consider Drakens opinion, his literal right hand and best friend, and Draken isn't stupid he had to realize it at one point so that rises a question why didn't back away?

Draken has no one. He grew up in a place where he did without good role models and like 1 person that would look at him as a kid. He had Mitsuya but Mitsuya also had his sisters to take care of, and Draken was surely aware if that so the only person he had was Mikey who already lost respect for him and was ready to replace him, the only thing keeping him in his place was always doing things for Mikey and never saying no. Not saying that they didn't love each other, they surely did but deaken surely had a pressure of being replaced and loosing the only person he could be with. So the main question, considering your page, does Draken really loves Emma or is he just pressured by Mikey? It is said that it was Mikeys dream for Emma and Draken to be together and have a family. And also like I said that Draken didnt have anyone so I also think that he sticked around the Sano siblings because he didnt want to be alone. And also in the future where its said like “Takemichi and Hina are married but Emma always spends time at their place, and Emma is pregnant…”, Draken and Emma are almost not even spending time together.

I would love if you could take some of your time to replay ro my request because I really want to hear your opinion on this.

Oh I've never heard that before, it's an interesting pov! I could definitely see it from the perspective of Draken putting others before himself, Draken is a very selfless guy and we see it a whole lot throughout the series. He's definitely not a pushover to Mikey though and will stand his ground when he thinks Mikey is wrong about something. I'm also not sure Mikey would've even realised that's what was going on, I mean when he first sees Draken and Emma talking, his first response is to think they're gossiping about him. (Lmao)

He obviously realises their feelings at some point but he definitely doesn't seem perceptive enough to notice that early on, more so in Emma's case here since she seems to be the one who fell first.

I do think that a lot of the toman members were forced to get along with Emma though. Not forced as in it was hard for them but more like before they even met her they knew to never cross the boss's sister. I mean Hina had no reason to get along with her but did so rather quickly so I'm assuming Emma is a nice person who is fairly easy to get along with anyways. There probably were some people in toman who didn't like her or wouldn't like her but we don't really get to see her interact with them or see their pov's.

I also don't think Mikey lost respect for Draken at those points either, I think it was more like he just had more trust in the others rather then losing trust in Draken. We know family is very important to Mikey so it makes sense that he latched onto Izana to help fill the space his dead siblings had left. With Kisaki although I agree Mikey was in the wrong for not listening to the others here. I understand that he did this because he was desperate, he knew he needed help and cared for the others too much to get them involved so he turned to someone he thought could help. He was scared and people don't always make good choices when they're scared.

We've never seen Draken have any kind of insecurity about losing Mikey but I like the idea of it. I think it would make sense for him to be worried about losing someone so close, we know he adores Mikey. Though I also think he understands Mikey very well and knows that Mikey probably wouldn't just replace him over something like that.

As for Emma spending a lot of time at Takemichi and Hina's place in the future, it's not said but I've always assumed it's because Draken is working a lot. He does have a wife and kid on the way to support and I'm not sure how time consuming his career is but it seems like something that would take up a lot of his time. Which would leave Emma alone so she goes to Hina's place instead to hang out with her. This is just speculation though since none of this is mentioned in the last character book.

All in all I do think Draken loves Emma, Draken would do a lot of things for Mikey but marrying his sister and spending the rest of his life with her seems a bit too much. Though just because I think that doesn't mean the hc or anything is wrong. I can definitely see certain aspects of it and it was fun to think about all these different things! It was a cool hc to read about!

For some weird, grotesque, disturbing reason that's all I can remember.

I cant remember the way the soil would bend underneath my feet whenever I walked through soggy old mud. I cant remember the way my face would scrunch up as I came across that disgustingly overbearing smell I hated so much.

All I can remember is cold.

Cold on my puffed out frozen cheeks.

Clamminess' shooting out of my fingertips from the prunes they sprout. Almost as if Id soaked my whole body for too long. Like a 7 year old being told bath time went a little over schedule.

Almost as if the water that was originally suppose to clean them, bathe them, cleanse them soon turned into their enemy only making it worse. As if this enemy was sucking the life force from them only to leave the with pruned hands as evidence that it was there.

Its distant but, its there. The only question I have is not about the term or the tone or even the voice sprouting these loving words. Its simply a question of where's this beautifully elegant word play coming from.

The cool air outside not doing much to settle the already tense air between the two of you. Your boyfriends obvious attitude still hanging in the air only worsening as the silence drilled into his head.

chapter two

its mr. 305

one day soon ill link all the chapters. today is not that day. anyways enjoy :)

I'd see one of them on the street and then all of a sudden the rest show up and like??? Did you guys teleport or something?? I'd been evading them pretty well, and by that I mean I started sprinting in the opposite direction of wherever I thought they were (and nine times out of ten, it wasn't even them), but the one time i decide to try and take the short way to where i was staying I got caught. I think this is a higher being telling me to exercise but I don't know.

Like I said, I was just trying to get in time for where I was going (a potential job interview sighs) and I heard a shout from...somewhere telling me to stop, or wait up, or something like that, but I hadn't connected with anyone so I did the obvious thing and ran like my life depended on it.

I was lucky I wasn't carrying anything, but also unlucky because my phone was in my pocket and I couldn't exactly lose that, so i was running with my hand grasping my phone while it was in pocket, which makes for a very awkward-looking run.

In the end, whoever was chasing me caught up, and apparently it was more than one person?? Like a whole group somehow ended up chasing me even though I only heard one voice yell/shout at me.

"There you are! I've been looking for you everywhere!" It was a blond in front who said that. I couldn't really see anything that was going on and was about three seconds from just risking it all and taking my phone out to turn the flash on. Darkness and I had a bad history.

What. What? What??? Why would you tell someone that. While they were in an alley, where crimes infamously take place.

"Do you even realize what you just said?" I said with a deadpan. My head whipped around at the sound of scuttling, giving up on being careful and bringing my phone out to turn on the flash. Turns out it was just some trash moving from the wind or something. "Why the hell—y'know what, I'm not even gonna complain. Just gonna accept the fate that has been handed to me."

I turned around just to scream, accidentaly forgetting the group of people were there, which made (some of) them scream, which made me scream, so it was just us screaming in an alley for a bit.

It stopped when a really tall guy stepped forward which shut them, which shut me up, and made me remember that, oh yeah I have a flash I could use to actually see them. Smooth brain moment.

I turned my flash (that I forgot to turn of haha #girlboss) towards them which made them jump at the sudden exposure of light, making me giggle a little, before I actually saw who it was and immediately deadpanned, realising exactly who was chasing me.

How many times do I have to ask for forgiveness for the thing that I did when I was six for you to actually forgive me. Cries.

"Oh shit, it's mr. clean lol."

"Did you just say...lol out loud?" Said (mr. clean) Draken.

"lol"

Hanagaki shook his head, before calling out my name, gaining my (and everyone elses #fanbehavior) attention. "How did you get the ambulence to come so quickly? On that night, a couple weeks ago?" Ah shit, why did he have to bring it up so fast, no introductions or anything.

Time to bullshit my way out of this. "Oh I heard sounds of fighting by the parking lot, and when I ran off to try and find where I was, I found mr. clean and company looking worse for wear, so yeah." I should for sure be nominated for an Oscar my acting is superb. Better than any actor out there. "Anyways, if you'll excuse me, I have to go back home, I have some things to take care of."

I took not even two steps before someone stopped me. It was Hanagaki, which was a little disappointing. "Actually, I do mind. Do you mind if we come with you? I swear I have good intentions." My eyes widened at his words.

"Do you know how sus you sound right now? Hmm...sus...sussy...A M O N G U S..." I tried to back away, but his grip was tight, surprising for his little twig arms.

They looked like toothpicks.

"Uh...I'll back him up. Besides Takemicchy has a girlfriend, and I don't think he's gonna be cheating on her anytime soon." I turned my head to where the voice came from just to see Mitsuya, honestly I could die happy now.

"Oh yeah for sure. If pretty man says its ok, then everything is good." I said with a smile. Simp.

"...You're just gonna agree? Just like that?" Questioned Hanagaki.

"Oh yeah. Like I said, if pretty man says its ok, I trust him with my life, so." I stared blankly at the group, waiting for them to start moving so I could go back to the place I (stole) was staying at. Also somehow they didnt notice my phone even though it was one of the main sources of light in the alley like 🤨 but okay. "So are you gonna move out of the way or no? 'Cuz I need to get back to my place, and apparently you guys wanna come with for whatever reason."

They moved out of the way (simoultaniously too, hella creepy) and let me lead the way.

I started walking off to my place, hearing the creepy sounds of people following me, but i shrugged it off and plugged in my earphones so I could listen to music, which they did not, in fact, fail to notice.

Mitsuya came up to me and asked what I was listening to. I decided 'Fuck it.' and gave him an earphone. He put it in his ear, and I might've forgotten to tell him it was super loud because as soon as I pressed play he flinched. Haha. I guess im just used to the volume (and to destroying my eardrums) that it doesn't affect me anymore.

"I apologize sincerely, I didn't know that you had inferior eardrums to me." I tried walking off after that but he grabbed my arm (made me blush a little) and looked at me weird.

"What do you mean 'inferior eardrums'? How can someone have inferior eardrums?"

"Oh heres how: you listen to really loud music your whole life, and then whenever you think its quiet, you turn the music up. And soon, you can't be in anyform of quiet without music/your brain being stimulated in general or you feel like you're gonna go deaf with how quiet it is." They all stared at me blankly, likely thinking 'what the absolute fuck' right now.

"How do—nevermind. How long is it until we reach your place?"

Aw, he's so sweet. I coughed before turning to gim and saying, "Uhm like...two minutes if we run really fast. Why?"

"How do you know the running time?"

"When you run from your problems (and people) you begin to be able to know the time of things like that."

"Oh."

I nodded my head before taking off. Not to get away from them, just because I wanted to. They shouted from where they were behind me before quickly catching up. Fucking long legged people.

After two minutes of running (like I predicted) we made it to where I was staying. It was just a glorified warehouse that took me almost a week to make it look presentable.

I walked in, hip-checking the door to get it open wider.

"And this, fellow comrades, is my humble abode."
