I crocheted this hat in #49ers colors for my younger sister. I used red heart super saver yarn in gold & red.

My first foray into hyperbolic crochet! I made this to be a prop for my lighting design class - swipe to see the final designs. . I'm super happy with the way it turned out and I'm really excited to continue exploring the technique! Even though it looks complicated, for this particular piece I crocheted in the round with single crochet, increasing every three stitches. I used worsted weight yarn and an E hook (3.5 mm). I didn't bother going in distinct rows, I just spiraled around and it curled up on it's own! I stopped when I ran out of my ball of yarn 馃槀 I found a ton of tutorials for different shapes, and I can't wait to try them out! . #crochet #hyperboliccrochet https://www.instagram.com/p/BwALAoQgoSG/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=141lt2491siv6

Because everyone should be lucky enough to have a little @cloudcrochet in their life. I love what my friend, Cloud, is doing with her fiber art. Bringing a bit of love and awareness to the beautiful corals! 馃摳 @cloudcrochet . . . #hyperboliccrochet #fancoral #empathicart #oceanawareness #puertorico #fiberarts #cloudcrochetco (at Rinc贸n, Puerto Rico) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0mvonlnx0r/?igshid=1xhn6hh5isrjc

Just a little #hyperboliccrochet - unfortunately this pattern turned out to be entirely too dense for practical use, perhaps because I'm a tight crocheter? I might have to try my hand at designing a meshier one. #crochet #bathpouf #handmade

Very cool @distantmoons ! Thanks for the info... I'm thinking of a couple coworkers who might benefit from this 'symbolic' gesture. 馃榿 (passive aggressive? maybe.)
