This hell that I was walking into

Was intending to do the FFXIV fanwrite using FGO X FFXIV as a crossover. but some point of starting Tendonitis hits and energy level went down. If anything I probably would end up attempting it again (Either with or without Wodime meeting Emet because Wodime could have be a shard of his late son)

Before ShB, the timey whimey timeline of an FGO-FFXIV crossover that got pruned

Mash, Mordred, Emiya, Cu, Kiritsugu, Iri, Tamamo/Cat(Tamamo pretending to be Cat because wary of Emet. Something sun theme vibes something) as the servants who accompanied Gudako

Stormblood part of timeline where FFXIV main team was probably in Ala Mhigo-Kugane. Exarch avoiding Mor Dhona to avoid questions.

Exarch stole the excess Light and threw himself into the rift. Ascended to Throne of Heroes(?). Chained summoned with Future/ Primal/ Psuedo Servant  Hylnyan(a BRD-DRK-SMN synch that can use her headspace crew as her Light party) to deal with a summoned Emet. Emet eventually has to eat the excess Light. Timeline will still get pruned. FGO team was to fix this singularity lest it becomes a Lostbelt. Emet will tempt Gudako into Ascian-dom

How did they meet?

Probably landed near Falcon’s Nest. Mordred and Mash could pass as Ishgardian Knights guiding a bunch of Hingan folks from Idllyshire who were trying to get to Limsa to get back to Kugane because of their largely Hingan looking crew (Let’s go with that).

Emet looking to Mash and Iri(the way the resident WHM clings to Kerry) as the potentially weakest members of the group (vague impression that they were not real humans compared to the rest that felt more like spirits. The servants pique Emet's interest).

Emet has this feeling that he shouldn't use soul sight on the servants because whatever Iri is as a grail conduit and Tamamo might burn his eyes out with how bright they are. Especially sun theme Tamamo (Not familiar enough with Typemoon magic. just soul/life/galaxy/primordial magic BS on my part)

Bad idea when his current body was hit by Kerry’s Origin bullets weakening it enough for combine trial fight to allow the excess Light to neutralise Emet

Why Emet got summoned? I don’t know? Something to do with denial of his own death at some point and wanting someone who understand why he did what he did? Caused a singularity and Gudako is my current Gudako.

With the exception of Cu, Mash and Tamamo the other servants were picked with Seiyuus in mind. (Ardbert, Cid, Lucia, Minfilia). I would have love to bring Kiara(Ameliance/Sadu/ Kan-E-Senna/Miqo'te voice 2) along but I don't have her.

Einzbern-Emiya family’s situation is unique, since not everyone is the original F/Z self. Other than that servants who can use the FFXIV myths and storyline got compatibility to rayshift with Gudako. And this is the most well behaved and less black/white moral issues team. And this team give me more background to work with since I like them.

Atalanta would have sided with Hylnyan in LB1 way. Emiya kinda walked Ardbert’s path. Kerry’s FGO design reminds me of Fatebreaker(the other way around actually). Spectral Basaka wa dare ni mo makenai!!! Sekai de ichiban tsuyoi dakara!!! Rengoku (Thancred) is a sword….

And Mordred. She gets to use Bastard child and daddy/mommy issues/weapon bred for destruction as compatible rayshift reason (hi Aymeric, Huarchefant and Zenos!) Plus she shares a seiyuu with Minfilia. Plus she was in my Chaldea longer than her OG father and made a name for herself headcannon wise(thanks Sisigou!)

With the clairvoyance of Cas/Ko-Gil who wisely chose not to be a part of this fic because meeting Greg could fused the dimensions or something.  

And then there's the granps who are trying to steal POV limelight. so it might be a GOT Multiview short story thing.

Yeah bottled water collection. There's more junk in Hylnyan's backpack. I don't think I have enough tables to put it on. Kozakura would be pleased with the Pre-DT donations if Hylnyan weren't hoarding moonstones again.

I tend to use ARR Thancred gear as his downtime gear since its easier to draw. Like how Estinien has Falconer gear.

I would like to start watching Dungeon Meshi at some point because Izutsumi (Miqo'te? Miqo'te-Hrothgar hybrid?) is very much like cats I used to know. CAT!!!!!

Yes that hairstyle is what my OC wears too and there's no Cath Sith costume. CAT!!!! Yeah OC will get a big ribbon to wear too. CAT!!!!

I need to learn to draw Estinien and G'raha because Hullbreaker Isle and Saint Mocianne. Hylnyan did unlock Culinarian after all.

Without Thancred, Hylnyan's story diverges Post Prae. It would become FFXIV - Hylnyan is just another adventurer or Arenvald- warrior of light (we lost that catgirl as a protag)

Interestingly most of Hylnyan and Thancred relationship were built post-Prae. She didn't know it was Lahabrea even though she had been bothering LahaBread at times.

Partly it was Thancred trying to atone for himself that made their relationship what it was (Thank you Lahabrea-Sensei!). Partly because Thancred grows alongside / parallels / mirrors Hylnyan at times

Without Thancred, Hylnyan would be more distant since he was the more emphatic one/social butterfly when compared to the other main Scions (Tataru the other Scion glue can only do so much by herself. Sad Penelo noise). There would be no one pulling the B-team in (Hoary vs WoL went from small training test to big fun show for Doman kids and others too)

Recruiter Yda was dealing with her own issues and her bond with Hylnyan wasn't that strong. There was the feeling that something was off about her (dual personality? on-off moods?).

Hylnyan is likely hanging with Hoary and Coultenet and having a friendly Archer based rivalry with Aenor (double date with Hoary and Coultenet). Memory is a bit fuzzy here when Aenor joined. Because I remember Yda hanging around them a lot. But yeah mainly interest is in Coultenet,

The four of them(if Aenor here) would have form their own Light Party and leave Mor Dhona for adventures and not be around Alphinaud or Minfilia much. And it becomes FFXIV - Party of Light story. They might become the guest team that pops by now and then.

Hylnyan would probably less WoL and more adventurer and never made it into Heavesward because Bloody Banquet might have taken another form at another time.

Arenvald might have taken over the Meteor protag spot, whether he survives Lady Iceheart (I had wanted her to be Hylnyan's senpai and teach her how to be a Dominant) and Bloody Banquet is his story.

A good chunk of MSQ would not be relevant to her. Side quests as random adventurer maybe. She goes back to being the random artisan-ranger without the WoL weight hanging on her.

How does your story change without him? Does he have a significant enough impact on your WOL to alter their story? What if he wasn’t there during the Dragonsong War? Absent from boosting Urianger’s confidence, To assist the Shinobi, To scout in Bozja and meet Lente's Tears, Never there to guide Ryne. If he was never there to fight in Ultima Thule, or assist Koana?

Mainly because I remember Thancred calling for a tank stack with WoLTank during Varis's Bozja fight and the next was with Hydealyn.

T'laqa Tia is one of Hylnyan's lovers. Their relationship started over fishing. CUL skills came in handy.

Hylnyan is not very publicly affectionate when it comes to her lovers (T'laqa, Leofard and her OC mate. sorry guys.) They are very aware of her fondness for Thancred and are very puzzled that he's not one of her lovers. I had to put it down to Moon Miqo'te behaviour and being wary of her loved ones coming into danger because of WoL things

Does Leih and Temulun counts? Leih Aliapoh and Miah Molkot are Hylnyan's Gridanian friends who help her in her early days. She considers them her sisters-in-arms

Miah is a Northwestern shrouds Miqo'te like Hylnyan but from someways off. She's one of the few people who somewhat understands Hylnyan's dialect

Temulun is like a grandmother of sorts.

Qeshi-Rea Hylnyan's sister from another shard. they have the same silly energy and looks almost similar. I headcannoned Hylnyan introduced Ryne to Qeshi-Rea to study botany and keep an eye out for her

Does Suzaku and Byakko counts? Them and Senri hangs out whenever Hylnyan visits. They tend to give perspective from a semi immortal point of view when it comes to the Ascians and Tenzen.

They form that technically normal person life that Hylnyan tends to cling to. Something to remind her that she has a life outside being WoL. Even though the friends she have aren't exactly normal in conventional terms

She has a village but it just happen to get bigger each expansion

I didn't count J'olhmyn and Giott because they are more like drinking buddies than sisters-in-arms. While Sophie is a Tomestone Farming buddy

Possibly? Hylnyan went to have a chat with her buddies Suzaku and Byakko about Tenzen after EW. Possibly find out what her Doman and Othardian friends/allies know about him.

She needed to know how similar and different they were. Seiryu turned it into an opportunity to update the Tenzen chronicles. And it was like with Ardbert. she might have been a later incarnation but by now she is herself.

And she's very big on maintaining of self identity. So that whole Oni of Light business has nothing to do with Tenzen. That's her own far east legend cooked by up a bunch of Doman kids with encouragement by Doman folks who knew her.

Plus - She took the opportunity to have a chat with Ryne, Gaia and Claudien about this. Especially what with that whole business with Ysayle and Shiva and Amon-Fandaniel

There is probably a book on this with Alisaie, Thancred and Claudien to help her to gather her thoughts about it in Sharlayan (good for referencing)
