AI has seeped into our day to day life in glorious ways, even when some of us are not aware of it. AI in Healthcare

According to the doctors at AIMS, the clarity of 3D vision, the dexterity and mobility of the robot and its magnified vision helped the doctors cure the child. They also added that the block could be completely removed.

Google has also taken a keen interest in using AI for healthcare. Deepmind Health, a London-based AI firm owned by Google, is working on a system that makes the journey from test to treatment for patients, quicker and more accurate. As per tech analyst Mary Meeker’s report, a whopping 60% of US consumers claimed to want to share their medical data with Google.

AI in Manufacturing

Manufacturing has benefited much from the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence and robotics. And why shouldn’t it. Robots are faster, cleaner and significantly more efficient. Forward looking companies like Tesla are already at top of the game with AI. In fact, Tesla’s sprawling 500,000 sq.m factory in Fremont, California is testimony to their future-first approach. Bill Ruh, the CEO of GE Digital and the company’s Chief Digital Officer, has publicly spoken about GE’s approach toward being a ‘future ready’ enterprise through artificial intelligence and machine learning. The digital twin concept, which is a data-based representation of a physical machine with consistent data flow helps diagnose faults in the machinesthrough sensors linked with machine attributes. This is touted to be the next big solution to optimise machine productivity, given how this could be replicated across plants.

AI in Travel & Hospitality

While AI is creating ripples in the manufacturing industry, can it be used to transform the end-customer experience? The answer is a resounding yes.
