Okay, but during one of Romano and Germany's early scenes in the English dub, I love it when he says, "Don't play dumb with me, that's my brother's job!"

I feel like that one line gives you a whole lot of insight into the Italy brother's relationship, and I find it so amusing.

What has Italy tried to play dumb about before? And how many times did Romano see right through it?

What I love about these new illustrations for the new AU is that it hints that they’re regular humans.

I can’t explain it but this gives me so much relief for them. They can finally live the normal human life they’ve wanted. They can get married and start a family (like some have hinted that they want) and not have to constantly say goodbye to people they care about because they’ve passed. They finally get to live a normal human life with a normal childhood and I’m gushing 😭.

I haven’t organized my thoughts on this, it’s just something I wanted to put out there so, sorry for the word vomit.
