-Dante is reminded of you guys' mom every time he looks at you. You're basically a younger clone of Eva, which is both a good thing and a bad thing, because as much as he loves his mother, he is reminded of everything that happened when he looks at you.

-Dante trained you to be as strong as he is, (Vergil helped too) and is glad you turned out to be a badass devil hunter just like the rest of your family.

-Dante loves you, as any big brother does, but, being your sibling, he is obligated to argue with you at least twice a day.

-Will steal your food when you're not looking, especially if it's pizza.

-Sometimes your arguments turn into full on wrestling competitions where the victor usually isn't clear for several hours.

-However, Dante will always be around to play games with you when you want him to.

■ Vergil ■

-Vergil is that overprotective older brother that scares away all your friends and potential dates cause he doesn't trust them.

-He takes very good care of you because you remind him of his mother, whom he failed to protect. He'll make up for it now by protecting you.

-He'll train you to be a swordswoman who is at least half as good as he is so if you're ever in danger and he's not around to help, you can defend yourself.

-You are the only person who can get between him and Dante and stop a fight without getting injured or called deadweight in the process.

-Still, as siblings are inclined to do, you guys still fight a lot, usually over menial things. For instance, Vergil will insist you misplaced his copy of William Blake, you'll deny it, an argument starts, Vergil rises from his seat in anger, discovers he was sitting on it the entire time, and sits back down sulkily as you give him the silent treatment. About an hour later you'll be back on speaking terms.

-Doesn't know how to play video games because he's your boomer bro, but he won't object to being taught.

□ Nero □

-Nero finds you to be the cool aunt, though you're really more like his best friend since you have less of an age gap.

-Plays video games with you all day, every day, whenever you want.

-Is amazed that you have the power to stop an argument or fight between Dante and Vergil and that they actually listen to you.

-It must be because you look like their mom, Nero reasons, and he's right. Also, the fact that you look almost like a carbon copy of Eva means that Nero gets a chance to bond with his grandma and aunt at the same time.

-Loves to spar with you to test your strength and see how well Dante and Vergil trained you.

-Is really more fond of you than he is of his own dad.

-V, being the human half of Vergil, knew who you were and had some level of familiarity towards you, but carried none of the brotherly love Vergil had.

-Because the memories he gained from Vergil are somewhat fuzzy, he mistook you as Eva herself when he first saw you and had to do a double take. Then when he saw you and Trish standing side by side, he thought the two of you were twin sisters.

-Does not know what video games are as he's only ever read poetry, but with your guidance, he might learn...someday...when he finally understands that the controller is not magic and that the TV is not a window to another universe...

-Is very glad you're as strong as the Sparda twins because his condition warrants a bodyguard, ashamed as he is to admit it. You, the younger sibling, must now protect her older brother's human half because said human half is trying to protect you.

-V cares for you, and even though he doesn't see you as his sister, he does see you as a very dear friend.

-He will divulge Vergil's secrets to you, and also spill the beans on how this MOTIVATED man feels about his baby sister so you can use it to tease him later.

Okay so here is my personal review for venom 3 (no professional review, merely rambling thoughts).

Spoilers down below:

I have mixed feelings about this one. It's not the best one of the trilogy. Movie bros hate it but it's a venom movie, what the hell did you expect, dude? I have my issues with it but I enjoyed it more than the average person.

Pros:

-I like the action. It was tense and the first two acts were creative with the concept of Venom not being able to transform entirely.

- I liked the trashy jokes as did I in all the other movies.

-The xenophages were amazing, I loved them. Every POV shot of them and every time we saw how agressively they switched into kill-mode as soon as they found Venom was blood chilling. *Muah, chefs kiss* They were truly terrifying and brutal and I want to see more.

-I liked some of the film making and cinematography.

-Venom's face was so expressive in this one and I couldn't help but laugh and melt from adorableness.

Cons:

-While I totally understand and support killing off your favorites, the way they did it with venom rubbed me the wrong way. It wasn't emotional enough and Eddie didn't seem to be as wrecked by it as he should have. He should have screamed and cried out for him, for heavens sake!

- Also it felt a little too queerbaity but I don't know how much was from the script and how much was cut. It feels like a lot of gayness had been cut. For example the helicopter scene? It definitely feels like there was an "I love you" that had been removed after the longing stares.

- Some of the choices were questionable. The dance montage was non-sensical. Venom was terrified to be found by the xenophages that he avoided transforming at all cost. Why would he make an exception because he really wants to dance? I know, it was Dancing Queen by ABBA and he's gay but he could dance by controlling Eddie's body or just dance with his tentacles.

-I also didn't care about the scientist plot. When you have these two silly idiots and their silly road trip story I don't want that to be interrupted by scientist drama.

Other points I have that were neither pro nor cons and are merely just ranting of my tiny human brain:

-Christmas scientist lady and blonde scientist lady are lesbians, you cannot tell me otherwise.

-I adore that the Xenophages are called "she". We stan a terrifying monster hunter queen. I support women's rights and women's wrongs.

- Now that I have seen so many symbiotes I can confidentially say that Venom is the prettiest one. Clean skin? Check. Big eyes? Check. Symmetrical face? Check. A true beauty in every way.

-Eddie wears his Hawaiian shirt for 75% of the movie and this is the best idea they every could have done.

Overall I enjoyed myself and I was entertained which is the only thing you need from the Venom movies but it's far from the best of the trilogy and it left me wanting more from what we have got. The film bros hate it and I never want to be associated with film bros so I will loudly say that I liked the movie. I also have an alternate version of the movie franchise in my mind that follows some of the same plots but changes it so every movie would actually be good. If you want to hear more of that feel free to tell me and you might motivate me in writing a VERY LONG fanfiction or merely ramble everything into one big textpost (in my head it would be 5 movies instead of 3)

Thoughts on Oda?

I personally was an instant fan. His presence was short, but badass. He had the face paint, he was guarding the elders meeting, he acknowledged Noa for his climb which seemed kinda a big deal, he was the one sent to "chase the echoes away", and he destroyed a scout party before they could take him down!

If they didn't have the tasers and probably used that as an opportunity to stab him in the back, maybe he could have lasted just a bit longer...

Oda seemed like the warrior, the role model, the one everyone would want to be like one day.

Remember the little apes who swarmed the Sunset Trio to see their eggs? I imagine a young Noa, Soona and Anaya doing something similar to Oda.

fucking 4x04 metamorphosis man. i think it's the first time spn really addressed sam being a "freak". like it's set up beautifully for the first 3 seasons but the psychic/demon blood arc pulled it to the forefront.

sam has felt this feeling of alienation, this wrongness inside of him his entire life. not fitting into the hunting life, never having a stable home, being nerdy and empathetic and emotional trapped in a big 6'5 body. and when he finally gets a life outside hunting with jess, it gets ripped away from him. for the first 3 seasons he kept that all bottled up inside and let dean take the reigns (very lil bro of him btw), because whenever he tries to break out of it (jess, meg, etc etc) it ends horribly. and to have that feeling of constant otherness validated by learning that he has demon blood inside of him? sam must have believed that he was sick to the very core. he must have looked up to dean as his amazing big brother, who was rough around the edges but good and normal and always dad’s favourite. so it’s no surprise that sam kept a lid on all of those feelings around dean, because he was used to being the freak, and he was used to suppressing it.

then dean is gone and sam suddenly loses the one person who saw something good in him. hell, his own father thought he was a monster, and other hunters, who are the only other people he could make any sort of meaningful connection with without putting their lives in danger. he’s stuck with this awful thing inside of him, rotting away at him, his whole family is dead, and ruby is there, telling him he’s not evil. he’s not bad. he can make something good of this thing inside of him. and sam must think that ruby understands; she’s a demon, trying to be good, she gets it. so sam gets so deep into it that he forgets why it would ever be bad. he basks in this feeling of otherness and he embraces being a freak because for once in his life, it's actually a good thing that he's different.

then dean comes back to life and suddenly everything is flipped on its head. in the eyes of dean, he’s a monster. that awful feeling of alienation returns. he’s a freak, he’s a ticking time bomb, he’s tainted from the inside out. so of course sam hides it from dean, because he wouldn’t understand. not like ruby apparently understands, not like the other psychic kids, to sam dean could never understand him because he was always the freaky nerd younger brother and dean was the cool, sweet talking older bro that always seemed to have everything in check.

so that look of absolute hurt on sam’s face when dean says he has something evil inside of him, something in his blood?

that is genuine betrayal. dean's loss is still fresh to him, and now that he's finally found something that makes him belong, it's ripped away from him. just like stanford, just like jess, just like anything else in life that he tries to make his own. so he blows up on dean, screams about how he feels like a freak, just unloads all of this shit that he's been holding in his entire life. his entire damn life. because sam has been an "other", a freak, as long as he's known. the only person who he had was dean, but now he was losing him, before he even got him back fully. all because he tried to embrace who he really was.

so yeah. 4x04 metamorphosis man. wow. just fucking wow.

Wild Kratts Episode Ideas

We made it another year. 2024, specifically, January 3rd, 2024, marks the 13th anniversary of Wild Kratts, which first aired in 2011 with Mom of a Croc. I remember first watching the bros as a toddler with Zoboomafoo, and I have grown up with Wild Kratts, from kindergarten to college. I owe the bros for opening my eyes to how amazing the creature world is. To celebrate, I wanted to share some episode ideas I came up with:

Fish Hacking 101: Chris and Martin desire to master the hunting techniques of the mysterious tentacled snake. But to Gourmand, the obscure serpent is just another ingredient for his latest dish.

Yetis and Leopards: To keep the bros away while they plan a surprise party, Aviva sends the bros looking for snow leopards. However, they find the mysterious cats much quicker than expected, forcing Aviva to keep the bros away from the Tortuga by baiting them with a Yeti robot she built, but snow leopards are great hunters.

Upriver With a Paddlefish: During Tortuga maintenance day, Koki goes kayaking, when she is hit by a jumping sturgeon. Injured and with her creature pod busted, the brothers find an unlikely hope in another strange looking fish.

Inferno the Fire Hawk: While visiting Australia, the crew observe a black kite intentionally setting fires. Paisley learns of this too, and hires Zach to mind control the birds into obeying her.

Dot and Stripe's Big Day: The crew have successfully rehabilitated a pair of orphaned Malayan tapir twins. But the spots the crew have chosen to release the siblings in have each been claimed by older, tougher tapirs. Aviva gives the bros Tapir powers so they can traverse the jungle and find new, suitable territory for the twins.

Ice Day for Salamanders: In the most ambitious experiment yet, the brothers freeze themselves alive in Siberian Salamander Powers for a day. However, Paisley abducts the brothers, intending to auction them off to the other villains to finance her schemes.

The Perfect Mudskipper Name: Martin's attempt to ride a mudskipper lead to him loosing his suit, and a mudskipper merging with it, like Seven did. The now humanoid fish kicks the gang out of the Tortuga, and all efforts to get him out of the ship and the suit fail. The brothers must learn to fight like a mudskipper to win their ship back, and get the fish back to normal.

Parrotfish Beach: While at the beach, Martin chances across a parrotfish. Not having seen one of the vibrant fish since they saved some from Zach and Donita, the team get to work to make a new suit. Meanwhile, Paisley has decided to create her newest road right through the reef, using a monstrosity of a machine she calls, "The Colossus of Roads".

Nudibranch Bingo: After finding a Blue Dragon Sea Slug, the brothers head to the Philippines in a game to see who can find the most species of sea slugs. Do the Velvet Worm: The brothers are on a long overdue adventure to find the rare and mysterious velvet worm, who thrive in wet and warm environments. But Paisley's newest scheme threatens to destroy the home of the worms, and all the other creatures there.

Keeping up with the Hornbills: Chris and Martin seal themselves in with an expecting mother Hornbill so that they can document the process, but when Donita teams up with Paisley to collect animals from the forest she is destroying, the tree the bros are in gets tossed into the river.

Vampire Deer: The brothers learn about Chinese Water Deer, which have fangs in lieu of antlers. But the investigation into these weird deer is interrupted by Donita, who wants to use the deer as material for her new line of formal wear: Donita's Deer-est.

24 Hours in Lake Baikal: From freshwater seals to special sponges, and even weird natural formations, the record-holding Lake Baikal has caught the brothers' interest. It has also caught the interest of Gourmand and Paisley, who team up to make sure the brothers don't interfere.

Queen of the Meerkats: Struck by how fierce meerkats are, Zach captures the head female and several others to use in his new line of "Zach-Tion Figure" toys. Chris and Martin must save the meerkats while their friends keep what's rest of the fragile hierarchy from falling apart.

Olm's World: The brothers realized they never got around to making Olm powers. They return to Europe to find the mysterious "human-fish", so they can figure out the secrets of the unique salamander, such as how it can live for so long despite being blind.

Jumping Spider Jubilee: The crew split up to find the most unique species of jumping spiders. They will meet hunters, dancers, and even one little spider who lives up very high.

Night with a Not-Lizard: Impatient to study tuataras, a miniaturized Chris injures his leg, and he must use his skills, and the powers of the Tuatara, to avoid rats and other hungry predators to get back to the Tortuga.

Is there any headcanons about any of the characters you haven't gotten the chance to share?

As for headcanons hmm let's see.

I have been asked once if I had any trans headcanons for any of the characters, which of course I do. Radar is one of them. I see his adventure with Jesse and everyone in season 2 not only as a growth of personality and his strength to overcome the dangers of their world, but also as a means of finally finding comfort in his identity, especially with his friends who make him feel safe and comfortable with himself enough to come to terms with this, and finding it much easier to live his best life surrounded by friends who support him. I love to imagine later after season 2, Radar gets like a girlfriend who is so kind, loving, and supportive of him and he's seriously the happiest little guy in the world. I don't tend to make ocs for existing franchises though, so nothing will probably ever come of that character. It's just a nice thought I run by from time to time.

Speaking of Radar, I also like to hc that the tattoo on his arm is the witherstorm. Being such a big fan of Jesse himself, I think he'd definitely get a tattoo of what it was that began the whole story.

Also I know it's like, widely agreed upon that Radar is a child for some reason, but I hc him as a young adult because children can't get tattoos, run an adult job, nor do I think Jesse would be down for child labor. That's just me personally though, everyone has their own hcs.

For Aiden, I know I don't talk about him much because I genuinely hate him lmao, but I do hc that he and the Blazerods built their own lives in what used to be Sky City. Maybe owned up for their actions, and became notable citizens out there. That letter Jesse received at the end of season 2 from him, I imagine Jesse read and tossed into the trash. Aiden will never be a part of his life ever again after his attempted murder of both him, Lukas, and the rest of the Sky City people. Aiden's own story is just that. His own. Especially after the events of episode 5. The Blazerods will never be welcome back in BeaconTown so long as Jesse stands as leader. They get to continue their story without Jesse, and honestly? That is the best possible way it could ever be.

As for Petra, if you have read my Recovery fic, you know I hc her leaving BeaconTown at the end of season 2 and going on her own way where she discovers a path of being a griefer bounty hunter. It takes a long time for her to realize her inspiration to help people comes from the way Jesse does, but they both do it in completely different ways. Whereas Jesse stays in BeaconTown, leading and providing for his people, while Petra on the other hand chases down the people who leave towns burning, finding the utmost gratitude from those towns when she brings those griefers who looted and vandalized these peoples homes to justice. It's everything she needs. Adventure, combat, and a sense of belonging. She finds that she loves her job, but of course misses her friends dearly. She knows though that Jesse and the rest of her pals would be so happy for her for finding her calling, and when she does comes back, she gets to gloat about how much of a badass she's become, and how much people in towns across the world see her too as a hero. Jesse couldn't be more proud. Always embrace in the tightest bro hug they both can muster whenever they see each other again.

The Best Thing (Gustholomule Oneshot)

Matt's least favorite event had to be Grom.

Or, at least, that's how it was the last two years.

“Bro, I don't wanna be the fifth wheel again,” Gus complained to Matt as they sat in Matt's room doing homework. Matt layed stomach down on his bed, writing his essay on dual tracks. Gus was working on full-room illusions for his advanced class, so if Matt's essay turned into a book on Gusology, he knew why.

“Yeah?” Matt responded. At least he got to be a wheel. If Matt was anything, it was a unicycle.

“Last year was all, 'oh my sweet potato' and Hunter awkwardly flirting with Willow. Made me miss announcing. But now that's King's full time thing.”

“Okay? What are you getting at?”

“Wanna go with me?” Gus asked, looking at Matt, whose stoic expression quickly burst into flames.

Gus seemed to regret all of his life choices as he waved his hands in front of his face.

“No, no no no, as a friend! Titan, that wording was bad.”

“Oh, oh, okay,” Matt calmed down. Not that he wasn't a little disappointed. But wait– he got to go with a friend this year! Something other than a random date that would ditch him in the first ten minutes. Hopefully Gus wouldn't ditch him.

Gus wasn't like that. He hoped.

Sometimes he felt like Gus was just playing a giant prank on him. Bria used to do things like that, ask him to do things with her and never show up. It was so embarrassing, even before she went bad she did things like that.

But Gus was different.

“Sure, I'll go with you,” Matt responded.

“Great!” Gus chirped. “It's settled. I'll pick you up at 6:30.”

“Sounds great.”

Even after Gus left, Matt worried. It was crazy, he knew Gus was his friend for real. Gus never did anything to hurt him. He stopped calling him Matty when asked, even though Matt kind of liked it (something Gus picked up on and started calling him Matty again). He let him sit with him at lunch without Matt having to convince him. He kept his promises and he never genuinely insulted him.

But the thought still haunted his mind.

He shook his head. Gus was amazing. Really amazing.

Matt couldn't deny it. Every time Gus called him Matty, or rested his arm on Matt's shoulder, or complimented Matt, even if it wasn't even a huge compliment, Matt's heart raced and his stomach filled with butterflies.

It felt kind of wrong. Gus was his best friend, and daydreaming about holding hands and kissing him would be so weird if Gus ever found out. He could only imagine Gus's reaction– disgusted and repulsed. He would never want to see Matt's face again.

Matt couldn't ever tell him. It was such a big risk. The tiny chance Gus felt the same, or losing his only friend.

Maybe Matt should change that "tiny chance" to zero percent chance. Why would Gus like him?

Gus was confident, and pretty, and funny, and cool, and nice, and talented, and Matt was none of those things. The only thing he had going for him was his art, maybe his writing, but those traits were unknown to Gus anyways.

Sometimes, Matt wondered why Gus even bothered to hang out with him.

“Matt!” Steve called from downstairs, knocking Matt out of his thoughts. “Dinner!”

“Coming!” Matt yelled back, putting his pencil down and racing down the stairs.

He sat across the table from his brother, immediately eating his food.

“So, what did you and Gus do?” Steve asked.

“Just hung out. He asked me if I wanted to go to Grom with him and his friends.”

“Man, you should just ask him out already,” Steve suggested.

“No way! He'd be so grossed out. He'd never want to hang out with me again.”

“Matt, how long have you been crushing on this kid? Like ten months?”

“A year.”

“Right. An entire year. I know you're scared, but I think you should go for it. From what I've seen, he likes you back. Plus, he's way too nice to give up being your friend anyway.”

Matt frowned. “Augustus may be nice, but he's not going to stay friends with me for pity points. My stupid crush is gonna be the end of me!”

Steve rolled his eyes. “I'll never be able to convince you, will I?”

“Nope,” Matt smirked.

Steve sighed. “You are such a handful.”

The day of Grom came too fast. The queen was revealed to be Willow, and Luz and Amity were no doubt ecstatic to cheer for her.

Matt was in his room, fixing his hair. He was wearing white suit with a red shirt, and he spent way too much time doing his makeup, which was just red eyeshadow and black mascara. He just wanted to look perfect.

Knock knock knock.

Matt ran down the stairs to see Steve already talking to Gus. Gus was wearing a newer blue suit, which was paler in color and had the slightest hint of green.

“Hey Augustus,” Matt greeted.

“Matty! You look awesome! Are you ready to go?”

Matt blushed slightly. “Yeah. Let's go.”

Gus smiled, waving goodbye to Steve as he closed the door.

The two began walking towards the school. It was only a five minute walk from Matt’s to Hexide, so they didn’t even need their palismen.

“Your brother was telling me–” Gus began, but was cut off.

“Spare me my dignity and don’t tell me, will you?” Matt replied.

“Fair response, your brother always tells me the most embarrassing stuff about you.”

“I should start telling his girlfriend embarrassing things about him,” Mathholomule suggested. “See how he likes it.”

“His girlfriend? Why not his friends.”

Matt blushed, realizing what he just compared. “Um, I mean, because his girlfriend is really close with him and I’m really close with you– but not in a girlfriend way! Oh my titan, I’m sorry, I just–”

Matt screamed into his hands and he heard Gus giggle. “It’s fine dude, talking is like that sometimes.”

“This time it wasn’t talking, it was just me,” Matt complained. “I should learn how to not do that.”

“Hey Gus!” A shout was heard from above. Matt and Gus looked up to see Willow and Hunter flying to the school.

“Is that your boyfriend?” Hunter asked.

“He’s not my boyfriend!” Gus yelled back.

“Keep telling yourself that,” Willow said, flying closer to ground level.

“Wow, you are very calm, considering you’re about to battle Grom,” Matt commented, trying to change the subject.

“I think I’ve got it. I’ve conquered my fears before, I can probably do it again.” Willow shrugged, looking away.

She couldn’t do it again.

It wasn’t even fifteen minutes into Grom when Willow ran off screaming, a figure Matt couldn’t make out chasing her.

On a less terrifying note, the first fifteen minutes were okay. Actually, they were great. Hunter, Amity, and Luz spent their time cheering for Willow while Gus and Matt dramatically lip-synced to the music in the background. There was some teasing from Luz and Amity, but it wasn’t anything he wasn’t used to.

But getting shoved through a crowd and into the hole Grom came out of was something he wasn’t used to.

His screams as he fell were drowned out by the screams of everyone else.

When he hit the ground, stopped rolling, and looked up, he saw no light. There were dim orbs of light illuminating the caverns he had fallen into, but he still could barely see his feet.

Meanwhile, above the chaos, Gus was busy calling out for Matt.

He knew Matt had probably ran off with the crowd, but he was better safe than sorry.

When everyone was gone, he expected silence to be heard, but there was a faint sound coming from the caverns. Gus’s heart dropped as he dropped himself into the hole under the school.

In the darkness, Gus couldn’t see much, but he saw small parts of Grom swarming together in one spot far down the tunnel. Gus followed quickly after.

“Matty?” He called out, to no answer.

He heard faint whispers down the tunnel, and slowed down.

“Matt?”

The whispers got louder.

“Did you really think you could get away from me?” Gus heard a voice that resembled Bria’s ask.

Gus creeped down the hall, following where the voice had come from.

“I wish you were never born, I’ve lost my entire youth because I had to deal with you,” Steve was heard, louder than Bria had been. Another voice began to whisper, and Gus froze as his heart stopped.

That was his voice.

“You really thought I wanted to be friends with you?” It began, and Gus started running as fast as he could toward the sound. He peered over a corner to where he saw Grom, a form of Gus with a death grip on Matt’s head. Gus could see the tears running down Matt’s face through his closed eyes, completely helpless and alone. “You’re useless, I just kept you around for laughs. I never wanted to be your friend, nevermind your bo-”

Gus screamed and jumped at Grom. Maybe Gus wasn’t exactly strong or had practical magic for this type of situation, but his anger took a hold of him. He punched the fear bringer as much as he could before it slipped through the cracks of his fingers and formed itself next to him.

Matt was frozen, but Gus couldn’t pay attention right then. Luz had given him glyphs in case of this type of situation, so he folded a fire glyph in half and pointed it at Grometheus, who would morph into Adrian Graye if given the chance. But Gus wasn’t willing to give those chances.

“Augustus…” Matt whispered, but Gus couldn’t hear.

Gus opened more plant and fire glyphs, even though he knew he was starting to run low.

“AUGUSTUS!”

Matt pulled Gus out of the way of a giant arm flying through the air towards Gus, taking his hand and running. Gus threw some ice glyphs down the tunnel while Matt dragged him up the stairs and out of the pit.

The two sprinted out of the school and into the forest behind it. Matt created a little dome with magic to hide them from Grom.

Gus let out a sigh of relief and looked up to Matt, whose face was buried in his hands.

“Matty, are you okay?” Gus asked.

“No? I just watched all my worst fears come to life,” Matty responded, not daring to look up.

Gus slid over to him quietly, looking at the barren wall in front of them. “I’m sorry, Matt.”

“Thanks for helping me,” Matt mumbled. “I would still be down there if not for you.”

“Of course. You’re my friend.”

Gus heard Matt let out a sob, and take in a shaky breath.

“I mean it. No matter what Grom said. You’re my best friend.”

“Why?” Matt croaked.

That simple word pained Gus to his very soul. From the tone to the question, it wasn’t right. No one should have to ask that.

“Because you’re awesome,” Gus began. “Honestly, you’re so much more past surface level. You’re really smart when it comes to literature. I like how you talk a lot, and no matter what happens to you, you persevere. You’re always there when I need you and you’ll do anything for people you love. What more could I ask for?”

Matt looked at Gus with teary eyes and a soft smile. His mascara, and makeup and general, was ruined but Gus still thought he looked great. Matt choked and cried again, but this time of happy tears.

Gus pulled him in for a hug, and Matt dug his face into Gus’s shoulder.

“I’m so glad I have you,” Matt stated simply, and Gus felt his heart skip a beat.

“I’m glad I have you too,” Gus responded as Matt rose back from his shoulder, wiping his final tears away.

“Do you think Steve really hates me?” Matt asked, looking away.

“No,” Gus replied. “He was just talking about how proud he was of you when I knocked on your door. Though he did add a comment about it being a ‘date’.”

“Oh my gosh, he’s so embarrassing,” Matt groaned. “But I still love him.”

Gus smiled.

“I feel like I’m such a burden right now,” Matt half-joked. “To you and Steve. But I think I know you guys care for me a lot. Just tell me if I’m being too much.”

“You’re never too much,” Gus comforted. “You’re not a burden, and you’re right, I do care about you. A lot.”

Matt pulled away from the hug and leaned against the wall of the dome.

“Can I tell you something?” He asked.

“Yeah, what?” Gus asked.

“Well, before I say, I just want you to know that it’s okay if you… don’t want to be friends with me anymore. We had a good run.”

“What?” Gus questioned, voice cracking. Nothing would ever make him not want to be friends with Matt.

“I… kinda have a crush on you…”

Gus froze, processing the overload of information he had just received.

Matty? Like me? Oh titan, oh titan, oh titan, I’ve lost the ability to speak. Focus, Gus, focus!

“I’m so sorry,” Matt apologized.

“Don’t be,” Gus managed to say. “I think I like you too,” He lowered his head shyly, but kept looking at Matt.

Matt’s eyes grew wide as he looked at Gus. “Really? You’re not messing with me, right?”

“I’d never mess with you over something like this.”

Matt’s open mouth morphed into a smile and he hugged Gus.

“You’re one of the best things that’s ever happened to me,” Matt mumbled, and Gus melted.

“You too.”

So welcome to the spm pirate au ask blog! Ive made this au and I wanted to share it and make a ask blog! I will explain the au here

The world has been overtaken by water and few survived the flood the flood was caused by the void or whatever it's called something like that and count bleck and crew have a treasure map that leads to the chaos heart they must cross the seas before Mario to get it or something I'm working on the plot

Count bleck turns into: captain blumiere seafoam or captain bleck for short (I liked this name cause I thought it was silly and fits the theme) he has a magical staff that can summon krakens and such like big old sea magic stuff his staff is made of coral and had a pearl on top

And next we have nastasia: nastaisa stormbreaker or nassy is the first mate of the crew usually keeping everyone in like and making sure no one does anything stupid and makes sure everyone is doing their job on the ship

Next he have dimentio silly jester man hehe: dimentio saltwater treasurekeeper or just dimentio/dimi is a Siren from the bottom of the sea he was summoned by captain bleck to aid him in battle and dimentio did so by SINKING A FUCKING SHIP so captain bleck let him stay on the ship to clean and fight others in exchange for his own universe and food.

MIMI is now: mimi melody inkwever or mimi for short she wanted to be a amazing pirate when she grown up so she decided one day to sneak into a ship while no one was looking to fulfill her dreams of being a pirate but was found by the crew after sailing pretty far she was stranded at sea with a bunch of pirates although the crew took her into a crew teaching her how to be a pirate and such while exploring she got bit by a poisonous spider and fell ill after a while she was nearly at death before their ship was attacked in sunk her last moments were seeing water fill the only home she had known and going to the bottom of the ocean years later bleck found her soul roaming a ghost ship all alone and wanted to give her a second chance at living her dream and living in general she accepted her spider related death giving her the power to become a spider when needed

And now finally O'chunks: O'chunks mcloin or just O'chunks is the main person that helps in battle he is VERY strong (bro beat up a kraken for offending him and won) and has some angry issues but is mostly a nice guy who cares about his fellow crew members and his captain a lot he usually plans battles and such he doesn't really like dimentio much cause of his mysteriousness and how he likes to annoy him usually

Wario - When their father was still a good person, Wario fully intended on following in the footsteps of his dad. Being a treasure hunter so he could find the things no one had seen in years, the fame, the notoriety, the money he’d be able to make. Provide a better life for his family. That was a big goal for him. 

That changed when their dad left and killed their mom from a broken heart. Wario wanted nothing to do with that lifestyle after that. 

Waluigi - When he found out how badly their father had lied about his life, Waluigi decided that at least one person from this family should amount to something. Which is why he was determined to set out and do something amazing on his own. What that would be, he wasn’t too sure. 

Mario - The kids around the playground always touted how brave Mario was. Nothing seemed to scare him! Not the tunnel of despair, the slide of terror, the tree of destruction! Anything that scared children he wouldn’t mind. Claiming these places just have a bad name for something that happened long ago that kids just perpetuate. 

The first time anyone saw Mario scared/angry was when someone threatened Luigi. Luigi - For how quiet Luigi is, he’s extremely smart. Even if he doesn’t think so. After all, it’s not like he’s a scientist or anything. He just liked to know a lot of different things. If he wasn’t in the Commons/Cafeteria area in school, Luigi was tucked away in the library. The librarian, an elderly woman named Mrs. Merender, was very protective of her books and of the small child that frequented her area. Kids knew better than to mess with Luigi when he was there.
