‘Infested’ Thoughts (and a Bad Batch Theory)

Did we get Crosshair?  No.

Did we get Howzer?  No.

Did we get anything that progressed the plot in preparation for the incoming finale?  No.

And am I disappointed?  A little bit, yeah.

But we did get Roland (who is *chef’s kiss*) and may have got a set-up for a death for Cid.  Hear me out.  

Hopefully we’ll get a season 2 and (with a miracle) get Crosshair back on the team (or at least saved) and hopefully the following seasons will have more character development.  This, however, means we are without the obligatory emotional gut-punch for the finale.  ‘Infested’ is really late in the season SHOULD, therefore, be setting up SOMETHING.  It was very Cid-focused and strived to show the connection between her and the Batch and may well be placed here to highlight this to make her incoming death more impactful and effectively raise the stakes for the finale.

Just a thought because I REALLY don’t want them to kill off Crosshair or Howzer or any of the Batch for that matter.
