I think Dark Taranza shares a lot of traits with the book version of Howl Howl'sMovingCastle. Most notable traits shared are: melodramatic, overly concerned with his appearance, outrageous coward, thinks he's smarter than he is. Nia shares very few traits with either version of Sophie though

YESSSSSSS I AGREE. im a little drunk but my take on dark taranza is like. unlike the other taranza (who avoids fighting unless he absolutely Has to) he LOVES getting into fights and brawls for fun but he’s super physically weak so he gets fuckig owned almost every time lmao.

4. how do they sleep with their LI (what position, does one steal the blankets, is one too hot/cold, etc)?

to preface this-- gwen flirted with everyone in bg3, backed out or got dumped in act 2, and never unlocked minthara or halsin's romance in act 3. she is a serial flirt and a chronic fumbler. it's bad. it's "astarion will call her out on it post-brain" bad

she starts out in the default bg3 elf trance pose (flat on her back, in her lane, moisturized, unbothered), but when she's able, she Will cocoon herself in blankets. i like to think that her druid circle of dreams magic seeps into whatever she uses as a bed and makes it perfectly temperature controlled, infinite blankets, etc. so whoever she sleeps with is very comfortable.

she is usually the first one to wake up, so while she's not much of a snuggler, she makes up for it by bringing her lover breakfast in bed... or, more likely, she waits in the kitchen for her lover to get up, and then she weaponizes etiquette and politeness to usher them out the door as fast as possible, then immediately magicks her house into a different city to avoid them. my girl is out here howl'smovingcastle-ing it all over the sword coast lol

7. do they collect anything (gems, bottles, keys, etc)?

she keeps field journals religiously, and those are full of pressed plants, rock/dirt/hide samples, and records/illustrations of stuff she finds on her travels. if she's able, she likes to take cuttings of notable plants to put in her garden at home. she also fosters/rehabs/cares for many different kinds of magical creatures, but that's more just Her Job as a druid and keeper of the enchanted greenhouse, and not like, a hobby.

Do you get hate on fics? no just requests to update faster (sorry my friends, but unless i come into a large amount of money, i don't think i can take the time to spend all of my time on writing)

Do you write smut? If so, what kind? yes. what does this mean what kind??? i'm still kind of "aksdjlfaw AHHH!" about it, but it feels more comfortable each time -- kind of like action scenes.

What’s the craziest one you’ve written? if the mood strikes? hmm, i do have a Death Note Howl'sMovingCastle!AU fusion on my old LJ account but I don't think that really counts as a proper crossover. In Which Sunako is Sent to Ouran Academy to Become a Lady is the only crossover I've posted on ao3. It's a Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (Wallflower) and Ouran High School Host Club crossover from.... 2006. ohmygod.

Have you ever had a fic translated? yes. hand wash with care has been translated into Russian

Have you ever co-written a fic before? i guess so. @snickerdoodlles and i were "yes and-ing" on tumblr with a drunken kimchay thing that accidentally went down the path of knife/blood play lmao. it's up on ao3 as drag my teeth across your chest to taste your beating heart. also did a ridiculous "yes and-ing" survivor-idol-show kimchay thing with @subtextsays and @mightyyoiko you can read part 1 here and part 2 here.

What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? listen, if it takes me 10 years, it takes me 10 years. i'm not giving up on anything yet!!! hahahaha

What are your writing strengths? uuuhh. i don't know. maybe things on the sweet and silly side? i feel like i do my best writing when i'm having fun with it.

What are your writing weaknesses? writing consistently? i cannot for the life of me stick to a writing schedule. deadlines for fandom exchanges/events are fine. i'm great at meeting deadlines. but if it's me setting some arbitrary writing deadline for myself??? especially for multichapter fics?? HAHAHAHAHAH *disintegrates into nothing*

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? if it's necessary. sometimes there's cultural contexts to consider and sometimes the english equivalent just doesn't sound right.

First fandom you wrote for? gundam wing fic on some long gone yahoo group. good luck ever finding it.

Favorite fic you’ve written? ahhhhh how to choose?? i have a big soft spot for the height of romance because it got me back into writing fiction after over a decade hahaha. but also if you want an answer that will call me the fuck out, i'll say you are what you eat (they're twins) (the filmania!kim x boc!kim pwp) because i am way too invested in jeffcest. just tattoo that sickos image on my forehead *sobs*

I think she's actually what makes the movie better than the book bc she captures the whole 'Sophie howl'smovingcastle if she stayed exactly the same as she is at the beginning of the ghibli movie the whole time' thing (which is why I don't really care for the book) BUT root gets bolder with time so we're sort of seeing the midpoint version of Sophie that's at the palace rather than the version of her from the opening 5 seconds

People in the 'suasion tag saying the movie is only worth watching for how hot ciaran hinds is- FIRST OF ALL, they're sort of right bc I went in thinking he was deeply unattractive and left understanding what his fans see (handsome!) (except for his scary baseball mitt yaoi hands- the end handhold was like how tf is he sailing??), but second of all and more importantly where are the amanda root stans? She should be getting the same amount of attention bc I had the same reaction to her- 0 thoughts and them bam hits you with the excellent acting and her big ol' YA protagonist-colored eyes
