Some Ninja Randy related art I just wanted to post right now. But it’s not just the og, but some different versions of him that I had made long time ago and decided to try drawing again today!
Oh boy, I haven’t thought of these guys in a very long time until now. Some of you who has seen some art from both my old account and the old ones in this account may know of them (expect for Bad Ending!Randy, I never really showed him, I think). And yes, I will kinda explain each one of them since the rest of you probably don’t know about them at all so here we go.
1. Evil! Randy
an evil version of Randy, with all the chaos pearls in his disposal now that the sorcerer is fully gone. And no, not in the way like in the season 2 finale but like…well.. let’s just say, he’s still trapped.
staying in the now abandoned norrisville high school (what happen to everyone in there? No body knows), Evil! Randy is mostly alone by himself, plotting and thinking about what to do next now that everything with him has changed.
If he ever does get a visitor in the school, he seems quite calm and wise towards them, showing them around and even asking them for favours to help him a little around the place, give him company as he haven’t had some in so long…..but don’t be fooled. Remember, those green orbs corrupts whoever has them and this Randy is no different.
Howard’s and the Nomicons whereabouts in this au? currently unknown.
The only new thing about him right now are those few green glowing cracks on his suit and all, I thought those would look cool on him.
——
2. Horror! Randy
Now you can easily find this guys story and first drawings of him on my account. Just click on the Rc9gn tag while staying on my account, scroll far down and you’ll find it. Easy peasy. But if you’re too lazy, I’ll give you a short(er) and quick version.
This Randy’s story takes place back in season 1, right after he just became the ninja and a few days passed. He meets some evil spirit who takes a form of a ninja and tricks him into thinking that it’s from the nomicon and that there’s people who are monsters in disguise’s that he has to ‘get rid of’. Because of this along with illusions from the spirit to make it more believable, he ends up killing lots of innocents, even Howard which he immediately feels tons of regret and guilt for.
At the end, Randy becomes a lonely mess, a lost cause, a paranoid psycho ninja who now can’t tell the difference between an actual monster and a human thanks to the manipulation of the fake ninja spirit who is now suddenly gone along with the illusions.
Basically, this is a fucked up Randy who suffers a lot and is very lonely. He does kill though.

3. Disbelief! Randy
This Randy is kinda based on and inspired by the disbelief Papyrus Undertale Au. But instead of Papyrus with Sans jacket on, it’s the poor ninja boy with Howard’s. Most of this one is just Randy wearing the only thing he has left of his dead friend, trying to avenge him. Who or what got Howard killed? From what I remember (I never wrote any of these guys stories down) it was Mcfist and Viceroy, it was an accident with a robot of theirs. They never meant to have it kill the guy but it just…happen.
Damn, I have two au’s where Howard is dead. Good lord-

4. Bad Ending! Randy
One I have never shown here before.
This was first a ‘what if’ thing. Like what if at the season 2 finale, in the battle between the sorcerer and Randy, it ended up terribly wrong? With Julian and Howard coming in too late, The sorcerer successfully stabs Randy deeply in the chest, making him be the one to lose and slowly die. The last things he got to see and hear at the end is a concerned Julian, a devastated crying Howard and the laughter of his enemy in the background.
After dying with one last breath, Randy ends up in a void. A blank, white, empty void with no one else but him, who is now mostly black and white, expect for the bleeding wound on his chest, a painful reminder of his defeat. Well, the nomicon is with him. However, he can’t communicate with it anymore.
Why? Because the book, that is also lost of color like the boy, seems to be corrupted. Not like evil corruption but just some kind of corruption that keeps it shut and quiet, no glowing, no beeps, nothing, having this sort of ink all over the cover that never stops dripping and keeps its pages sticky and shut tight.
Randy doesn’t understand this and the place he is stuck in but all he does know is he can’t get help anymore and he can’t even get to see what is going on in his home right now, though he assumes that it’s now slowly turning into a chaotic wasteland thanks to the sorcerer. All he can do now is cry and cry, mumbling to himself and getting mad at himself for losing so easily like that, probably even developing self hatred in the process.
There is actually some continuation i made for this with a good ending, where Randy somehow is able to fix the Nomicon, get out of the endless white void, get revived, reunite with Howard along with many others and finally defeat the sorcerer once and for all. Though that one never got finished and from what I remember, it’s not really canon and not a true ending to this au so….oops.
——————
But yeah, these are my Randy Au’s. There is kinda a few more but not really.

Orange-Tinted Dawn (of Realization)
With the events of the red light district, nightmares began to swarm Randy's mind as he tries to question the past between First Ninja and Chase Young.
First Ninja hides a lot more than he wants to admit, a past event makes him question his feelings towards something he had carefully hidden so deep within his heart.
What would be the answer these two would achieve?
-----------------------------------------------------
The moonlight roared dimly as it shined on a figure. A loud creaking sound was heard over and over again, sounds of breathing playing along with it. The actions being done by the figure was unclear, looking as if it was hunched back and hiding something.
The cabin he finds himself in is very old, cobwebs and dusts littered throughout the place. The windy weather had made itself present in the room, thanks to the open window. As he tries to find out who the figure is, it glanced back at him, it's sharp eyes telling him to leave them alone.
Randy woke up in cold sweat, gasping as his eyes laid wide open. It had been the same dream... again. As his breath began to even out, he sat up as he tried to recollect what he had witnessed. He looked over to the Nomicon, which had been sitting on his desk.
He was about to get himself schloomped into the book when his phone beeped, checking his phone, it was just an alarm he set to get himself to wake up early. "Oh I woke up early, alright..." He rubbed his eyes, getting drowsiness off of his system.
The sun shined brightly as the summer heat began to take toll, the city of Norrisville being hotter. Students chatted among themselves in the hallways, a pair of friends standing beside a locker as they settled their bags in them.
"So let me get this straight, you got yourself into some red district, and met some yokai as old as the First Ninja?" Howard asked, his eyebrows perked up as he grabbed some textbooks.
"Not just that, but somehow I managed to also find some creepy guy that probably had some history with him, can you believe that?" Randy shoved his bag in his locker, a bunch of papers scattering due to force as he groaned, picking them up and putting them back in.
"The guy's 800 years old, he must have met a bunch of wackos throughout history." As the plump ginger slammed his locker door, they proceeded to walk together, "I tried to talk of First Ninja about it but the Nomicon keeps being a shoob about it, not letting me see him and all that."
Howard started talking about other topics, trying to get his ninja biffer off of the topic unless he wants a call from Randy at midnight dishing out some disturbing thoughts about it. While the topic had gotten his curiosity, he just wants his beauty sleep.
Entering their classroom, they sat beside each other as the others began to take seats. While talking, Randy overheard a conversation from other people.
"Have you heard?"
"What?"
"There's a new teacher in our history class, the other girls said he was hot and sexy."
"Ah shit? You sure? You know your taste in men is wonk, right?"
"Oh fuck you, like you're any better. Anyways, gotta check him out, won't mind getting into a relationship with him if he really is the cheese."
"Pssh, whatever."
Randy looked at the board intently, lost in his thoughts, "A new teacher, huh." He muttered. How are they getting a new teacher when it's already nearing quarterly exams? The bell rang, the door opened as the new teacher entered their classroom. He had his dark green hair tied into a ponytail, his sharp jaw and eyes with an unnoticeable slitted pupil had every girl mesmerized.
His outfit consists of a beautifully designed buttoned up shirt, layered with a suit that purposed as a jacket. His pants clung a bit on his skin, showing his physique, his shoes made of leather. Very elegant yet formal and simplistic enough.
To most of them, what they were seeing was a very beautiful man gracing them with his looks, his smirk had them thinking of wonk scenarios. To Randy, it was like having been punched in the gut, dread crawling in him with sweat rolling down on his face. He recognized him.
"Hello everyone, I'm Chase Young but as your teacher, please refer to me as Mr. Young. Please introduce yourself and let us get to know each other." The figure announced, performing a wink which had some of the students blush.
As they introduced themselves, Randy founds himself getting nervous at the sight of the man before him, Chase Young. It was the same guy that he met back at the red light district, that one creepy guy that somehow knew his mentor. What did they have? Are they fond of each other? Do they hate each other? Does First Ninja even know him?
Many questions swirled around the teen's mind that he didn't notice the fact that he was next to be introduced, "Thank you Steve, now, boy with colored hair, who are you?". He was snapped back into reality, moving to stand up quickly than it should've been and introduced himself as Randy Cunningham.
He sat back on his seat, Chase hummed softly as he let the others continue their introduction. The discussion between him and his students went well, most had attentively listened to him. Most. He noticed the boy, Randy, had been staring at him with a glint of murderous intent. His interest picqued, "What is it that elicit this kind of reaction?".
Chase followed the Ninja onto this quaint town known as Norrisville. Perhaps he's here He sensed lingering magic when he entered the school, following it as it picqued his interests.
When he stepped into the school last night, he saw speckles of magic that seemed to float around the school. Most of it gathering on that one glittering ball on the floor somewhere in the building. He inspected it and tried to remove it, only to be surprised when it didn't budge under his strength.
He left it alone, he would research it when afterschool hits. Then, the presence of old magic had burst somewhere, it reminded him of that man. He tried to find the source but didn't feel any of that magic anywhere when he ventured out of the building.
That Ninja... "Did he have succesors?" Chase thought, holding his chin as he tried to think of any plausible theories. "Can't be, would've known about it since..." His memory jogs back to that scene.
The sight of a naked man struggled beneath him, his breaths emitting clouds of white air as the cold had permitted itself in the dark room had him filled with joy. A candle sat beside them as it lit up to show the man's face, he shivered at the touch of my hands, his face showing a bit of lust.
"Just do it already, dammit..."
He felt a smirk creeping up on his, a wave of heat pooling in his nether regions as he blushed at the thought. "Oh, how I would like to go back and see it again." He said, the hand on his chin had covered his mouth, wanting to hide the lustful smirk he is wearing.
He came back to his senses when the bell rang, his students leaving the classroom as they gave a couple of lovely remarks. Randy glared at him, his fierce look judging his every move. A plump teen, Howard, followed him as he left along with the strange boy, perhaps his best friend.
Somehow, he felt a strange old magic embedded within the plump teen, a deep unidentified aura surrounded him along with Randy. "Strange, but welcomed." The warlock chuckled, maybe they would be useful for his search.
Randy slammed his locker door hard, feeling furious at sight of the green haired man, "Did you see that, Howard?! He followed me here!". Howard was confused at his best friend's outburst, "Why'd you say that? You know the guy?".
"Of course I do, he's that creep in the district that knows First Ninja." The teen ninja's face seethed with anger, how could he let this happen? Letting a dangerous foe like him in Norrisville? What kind of shoob is he?!. He smacked himself in the cheeks, trying to discipline himself.
"Hey! Cunningham! Cut that shit out and listen to me—" Howard grabbed Randy by the wrists, stopping him from hurting himself. He then continued, trying to calm his friend, "—You let the guy follow you here in Norrisville, okay, pretty wonk, but he hasn't done anything yet. You sure that he's after you?".
"No Howard." He removed the worried teen's hands, calming himself before answering "If he isn't interested in me then he wouldn't have followed me here in Norrisville. And have you seen him in class? He keeps observing me! He's hiding something, I'm sure of it."
The bell rings again, Randy and Howard went to their own classes as they had been separated, unaware of the figure that had been listening in their conversation. "How interesting."
The day went on normal, no robots or evil yokais attacking Norrisville. Randy had been able to recollect his thoughts as he tried to figure out Chase's intentions. Lunch happened and both friends sat together at that one table near the corner, "Oh come on Cunningham! You're making us look like one of those unpopular kids!" Howard complained.
"Don't worry, it's only for this day. I'm just worried..." Randy spoke, reassuring Howard while also going back into his deep thoughts. The plump teen disturbed him once more, "Cunningham, if this is about that Chase guy again I swear—" "Of course it's about Chase! I still haven't figured out what he wants."
The Nomicon glowed brightly from his jacket, finally getting a response, he excused himself to the bathroom as he got schloomped into the book. He landed on an unfamiliar place, it was a dark and foggy place, as he ventured deep into the area, he finds an antique Japanese house, smoke coming out from a window.
He carefully snuck to the side, peeking through the window. When he saw what was inside the house, all he found was a shadowy darkness. He was about to leave with disappointment when suddenly, a dragon showed itself and bit off his head, engulfing him as his consciousness landed on to the darkness.
It showed a familiar silhouette, a light flashing behind them. "The First Ninja..." Randy muttered, watching as the silhouette of the First Ninja trudged through a forest with his katana in hand. The silhouette then met up with another familiar silhouette, he recognized it, "Chase..."
The lights go out as it turned itself on, both First and Chase were fighting on top of a roof, a cinematic scene to behold. The teen was at awe, the silhouettes showing off their magical prowess as they attack each other with magic that he has yet to learn.
The lights flicker as he was shown with another scene, both First and Chase were sharing a drink together, Chase's silhouette was laughing as First just chuckled, enjoying each other's presence. "They were close." Randy thought, frowning as he feels as though something is about to happen.
The lights flicker as the silhouette of Chase began to turn into a gigantic monster lizard. First confronted the giant creature, fighting each other as it always ends in a stalemate, both getting injured during the fight.
The lights went off as it turned on, this time, there were no silhouettes but instead he was placed within a realistic bedroom, the vibes were very antique, evident by the old pots and herbs that are scattered throughout the room along with its wooden structure. It's the same room that he always sees in his dream.
The window was opened, letting the wind in as the only source of light seen in the room was the moon casting it's light over the windowsill. Randy looked at the bed, approaching it as he observed it. It had creases, meaning that someone must've been laid there, yet with the use of his accented smell, he realized that there were two scents that was present in the bed.
"Who did it belong to?"
He asked out in the open, suddenly words began to form on the walls, written out of charcoal dust.
To be at *PEACE* is to >Trust< But with <Trust> is to be ?¿WARY¿?
Trying to understand the meaning behind Nomicon's lesson, Randy squinted to try and figure out what it was trying to convey. "Okay, Peace equals Trust but Trust equals Wary? What the juice Nomicon? I'm just asking what their story together is!".
Having decided to have enough of the teen's complaining, the wick from the candle had been snuffed out, leaving behind a confused Randy sitting on the bathroom stall with drool flowing down his chin.
Wiping it off his face, he put the book in his inner jacket pockets as he went out of the bathroom, sitting next to Howard who was also eating his lunch. "So, what'd they say?" He asked, mouth full of food as he munched on them.
"To be at Peace is to Trust but to Trust is to be Wary. What the juice was that supposed to mean?" Randy groaned, his eyes showing a gloomy expression. He grabbed some chips that are still present in his tray and ate it.
Lunch had ended and they went off to their separate classes, Randy finds himself sitting in English class, waiting the boring lecture that is ahead of him. The teacher came in as he started his discussion, the teen dozing off one too many times due to his uninterested behavior in it.
A loud crash was heard from outside, the ground rumbled as the sound of a potential monster shrieked, getting everyone to cover their ears. Randy looked outside the window and saw a freaky fox-like yokai taking an attacking stance near the entrance of Norrisville High.
Taking it as the chance to escape class, he went outside the classroom and transformed while everyone was distracted. Randy went to the entrance and took out his smokebomb, throwing it out, exploding as smoke comes out, serving as a distraction and a signal for his entrance.
Chase watched the spectacle happening from the faculty window, the other teachers were minding their own business like such occurrences were normal at all.
He observed the Ninja that was attacking the fox monster. In his deduction of their performance, he assumed they were the type to show off, to take every single flashy move out there to prove a point. Yet, as he tried to understand more closely, tactics were actually being done instead of just mindless swinging.
"Taught from the best, I suppose." He muttered from under his breath. The Ninja was flexible, docile but experienced, ready to fight back when timed right. Although they sometimes say their attack out loud and spew out cocky remarks, it didn't devalue the intensity of the fight, seeing as he does occasionally announce his moves when he does showdowns with Omi.
The energy the monster seems to be emitting is similar to an aura of a yokai, something that he felt from someone just an hour ago. Yet, with Chase's sharpened senses, he faintly saw strings attached to the monster, like someone or something had been controlling it. The strings had him take a hike through memory lane.
The groans from the fox monster had been a sign of the fight ending, the creature is panting as they gained massive strikes from the Ninja, bleeding as it fell to the ground. He saw the creature say something to the Ninja before it vanished, red smoke coming out as they were swept away by the winds.
The Ninja remains victorious, dropping a smokebomb as they left the scene. Leaving the students with nothing gawk on, going back to their normal schoolwork as teachers began to sigh a relief. No school property damage to pay for.
Some teachers who had watched the fight went on to their normal work, Chase looked at the piled papers on his desk, not intending to do paperwork. "Perhaps I'll assign someone in the army to do this." He thought, already thinking of candidates from his army that will handle such menial tasks.
From what he saw from the fight, the aura that is present in that event is the same as the aura he felt when he was up to Howard and Randy. He started forming theories inside his mind, one of which had been more plausible than the others.
"Could it be that... one of them is a yokai?" The sight of one of them feeling betrayed as their friend turns out to be one the monsters that terrorizes this town sends joy. He may not be sadistic, but he surely enjoys a good show of betrayal.
Randy sat beside Howard on a bench afterschool. The teen ninja recounted his fight earlier, "And then it said, 'Don't trust the lizard.', like what the juice?". Howard took another sip as he listened to his biffer, also being confused at his statement, don't trust the lizard? It didn't make sense, "What lizard?" Howard asked.
"That's what I have been thinking." Randy sighed as they left the bench, walking down the paved concrete sidelines, heading towards Greg's GameHole and possibly distract themselves. After their little session, they went to their homes, tired from what happened throughout the day.
Randy took a shower, as sprinkles of water began hitting his skin, his mind drifted to forget Chase, insisting to deal with it tomorrow. Yet, as thought of Chase, he felt as though the man looks somewhat familiar, like he had seen someone that looks like him before. He processed the theory.
Green spiky hair...
Sharp jawline...
Pure black eyes with slits...
Yellowish skin color...
Somewhat Chinese origin...
...
"Jake?"
Randy shook his head hard, Jake being Chase? Doesn't sound right to him, but he can't help but wonder if the both of them have any connections to each other. He can't just base on outside appearance, that'll be wonk as hell.
"Is Chase part of Jake's family?". While it doesn't strike him much, it is a greater improvement than he had thought of earlier. He hasn't asked of Jake's lineage, not that planned to for the sake of respecting the guy's privacy.
He then recalled what the fox yokai said to him, "Lizards look like dragons, right?". Far-fetched, but it could work. He isn't sure if the 'lizard' is actually Chase, but a possibility should be considered, no matter how weird it is.
Getting out of the bathroom clothed, he threw himself onto his bed and grabbed his phone, opening up his contacts. He saw Jake's number, should he? He contemplates, "I...".
His thumb is shaking, confused on whether to tap or not, he can't just call his friend and somehow pull out a question regarding his family tree, yet he also can't let go of his lead on Chase. Breathing a heavy sigh... he pressed it.
Jake was sweeping up the floors of his gramp's shop, the dust settling outside as he closed the door. Fu Dog had retired to the storage room to nap, his Gramps had gone to a meeting with the Dragon Council about some matters with the magical community.
"What a boring night." He sighed, he was about to go home when his phone rang. Checking it, he was ecstatic to see Randy calling him, finally, something interesting.
He pressed to call, the teen ninja's voice echoing throughout the shop. "Hey Jake!" He heard from the other side, "Hi Randy, why'd you call all of a sudden?". He heard shuffling from Randy's side as he explained.
"So you know the guy I was partially allies for during my time at the red light district?"
Jake felt his blood boil, "Red light district? You?! Randy—"
"Ah shoob, I didn't tell you about it?" The teen recounted his adventure at the district, how he met Chase during the fight against a jorogumo.
"For a second, I actually thought YOU were doing sex work. Dammit Randy, don't scare me like that, man..." The teen protector let's out a frustrated groan.
Randy snickered, "Nah, I would've killed all my clients if that were to happen. Anyways... the guy I told you, Chase... do you know your family tree?"
"Why're you askin' me that? You think me and him are related?"
"No it's just... nevermind. It's a stupid theory, god why did I think of such thing..."
"No, I... how'd you think we were related to each other?" Jake tried to get a better hold of the situation.
Randy told him all the painfully similar characteristics they both share, the lizard and dragon connection seemingly solidifying the theory. "I'll try to ask Gramps about it when he comes back, though I ain't too sure he'll say anythin' to me if somehow my family is connected with that man."
With a hum from the other side, they proceeded to move on to other topics to lighten the mood up, telling each other what had been happening to them the past week. After an hour of conversation, they hung up, the night sky still clear as ever, trying to lull the teen ninja to sleep. His consciousness faded as he fell asleep, expecting the same dream again.
But...
He finds himself spectating a nightmare, the dark gloomy space had him feel eerie at the place. Then, with a loud crash of thunder, he saw Howard kneeling on the ground, hands clutching his stomach. The teen tried to move to help his best friend yet he feels as though his stuck in one place.
He tried to shout to get the plump teen's attention but no voice seems to come out of his mouth. He watched in horror as his friend painfully transformed into a grotesque form of a bird. Feathers sprout from his body as his face is riddled with suffering, red veins glow brightly from his skin to further prove his pain.
Howard screams in sheer agony, black wings stretching out of his back as it bled, pools of blood staining the ground. His former human appearance did not even remain the slightest bit, his face twisted unnaturally to contort the most hideous and uncomfortable smile in existence.
His friend—No, this monster looked at his way slowly, eyeing him like a predator. He then approached Randy, their feet now resembling a bird's feet. He desperately tried to get away, but the creature had managed to latch onto him, their claws tearing his face apart.
Randy woke up screaming, sitting up quickly as he clutched his face, Howard. He panted, trying to even his breath. He looked around his room, it was normal just like before he went to sleep. "I can't keep having nightmares like these." He bounced his bed back to his bed, covering his eyes with his hands.
The Nomicon glowed, getting him to open it. He got schloomped inside and found First Ninja sitting on a table, drinking from his tea mug, expecting him. Randy sat across him, he watched as his mentor set down his mug and began to conversation.
"It looks like you've experienced the nightmare, didn't you?"
He was aghast at his mentor's question, how did he know?
"From the looks on your face, it seems you did. Let me explain, what you saw is a vision of what would happen if your friend gets possessed by the Tengu for the third time."
The teen looked at the table separating him and the man before him, Howard had been possessed two times. First continued.
"Your friend has great compatibility with the Tengu, seeing as he hadn't died when he got possessed the first time."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
First stood up from his seat, walking away as Randy followed him. He was led to a pool full of sad and suffering faces, trying to get out of the pool but feels as though an unseeable force is stopping them to. The teen was intimidated by the sight.
"This, is the Pool of the Sacrifices. It serves as a grave for those who died after becoming possessed by the Tengu. Almost all of the bearers of the Tengu would've shriveled to death after they would get possessed.
The past ninjas before you had already shattered the Tengu Stone, releasing that bird out of its cage and making it possess their close ones. Yet, none, even you, knew that the Tengu's possessions reaps a hefty sacrifice. The life of the possessed."
With a hush-toned voice, First told the experiences of the past ninjas, how they broke down crying when they realized their actions costed them the lives of their allies. Siblings, friends, lovers, one instance had been that the Tengu possessed the body of a frail child, the son of the 97th Ninja who died after the fight.
"... If you knew they were going to die after becoming possessed, why... why didn't you advise us? Them?! You could've avoided their deaths! You knew after the first one died, so why?!"
Randy was distraught by his mentor's inaction to tell them that information. The First Ninja closed his eyes, "The Tengu's power is becoming more uncontrollable than ever, someone has to contain it.".
"Someone? Why? Isn't the Tengu Stone enough?"
"As I've said before, it had been shattered by the past generations for how many times, it's barrier is withering down bit by bit. A mortal's life is more than enough to satiate the unrest of the Tengu, becoming a vessel in exchange for the soul of the mortal."
Bewildered by the fact, the teen kneeled to the ground, holding his head as he tried to process the situation before him. He almost costed Howard's life because of his recklessness. Tears swelled up in his eyes as First patted his back, trying to comfort the teen.
Randy placed his head over the man's shoulder, tears freely flowing down his cheeks as horrific scenarios in his mind started to play. "Why tell me now?" He asked.
"You are the only one that had received a foreboding of the Tengu's true form. It looks as if it had grew fonder of your friend. If your friend had managed to survive this long after his possession, then he may have the willpower to resist the Tengu's control over him if somehow he gets possessed again."
"... But if he didn't?"
"... Sacrifices shall be made for the greater good, his efforts shall not be in vain."
Silence ensued after that, Randy's eyes had stopped crying, his mind now trying to think of what to do about the new information he was given. Suddenly, a question pops into his mind, something to distract him from the disturbing thoughts.
"Hey First Ninja, what's up with you and Chase Young? You seemed pretty close, the two of you."
Randy swore he saw a vein bulged on First's forehead, looking quite annoyed by the question, "And where did you learn that?". The teen shuffled as he removed his head out of his mentor's shoulder.
"Eheh, well..." Randy told him about his encounter with the man during the mission in the Ishigano Red Light District. About how he wanted greet First and how he followed the teen into Norrisville, serving as a teacher in his school. First clicked his tongue, "We were enemies back in the day, though we still respect each other."
"And your relationship right now with him is?"
"Rivals. That's all there is to it. Don't mind him, don't give in to his presence, I assure you—" First placed his hand on Randy's shoulder, "I will grant you protection from him if he ever dares to harm you." The teen felt the sense of great honor from the man before him. Then, his body began to fade away, a smile on his face as he was sent back to the real world, leaving First Ninja alone.
"Chase huh, he's still pursuing you?" Plopplop asked from behind, making First turn around to see him. "That warlock can't seem to leave me alone even after I left the mortal world." First pinched the bridge of his nose, struggling not to create a wrinkle caused by the mention of him.
"He's marked you—" First stared at him with daggers in his eyes, "Plopplop, my dear friend, I want no mentions of the warlock. Please." Plopplop shut his mouth, not wanting to agitate his friend even more.
First sighed, a hand massaging his temples, "He's already caught on the fact that I exist somewhere in Norrisville, not having ascended to above. If he messes up with Randy, I won't hesitate to skin him alive, even if...". He felt a tingling sensation on his neck and lower regions, a blush forming on his face as he tried to shoo the thought away.
"Tch, to entertain such mem— thoughts."
Plopplop left him alone in his thoughts, as his friend wanted. First walked towards the waterfall he frequents to, sitting on a rock as he fixed his meditating position. Trying to forget the events he had tried so hard to bury, he meditated in hopes of trying to get his mind off of the memory.
...
...
He was shoved to the wall with brute force, without his suit he felt the pain that would usually dissipate in a second but then, he felt something that wedged itself between his neck. A warm something touched his skin, an arousing feeling rising inside him.
First opened his eyes, not wanting it to continue. Resetting his progress as he closed his eyes once more.
...
He screamed, the pounding force making him let out embarrassing sounds that he would rather not reveal in the public. A hand touched his hips and squeezed it tightly, he looked at his face. Cold, sharp, yellow eyes stared at him.
He opened his eyes again, his eyes wide as the memory gave him chills along his entire body. He can't focus because of it. Seeing as he can't escape it, he stopped his meditation, he just sits on the rock and massaged his forehead, "Why can't I just forget about you?".
---
It all started when rumors about a mysterious beast lurking in the northern side of the woods began to take toll on the people of the Village of Norisu. Many warned that whoever steps beyond the marked trees will die being torn to shreds, evident by the corpse of a resident woodcutter they found earlier that morning.
Due to autumn nearing it's end and the winter season coming ahead of them, the people are starting to worry about their supply of kindling, seeing that the northern part of the woods have the most abundant source than any other parts of the woods.
First, wanting his people safe from the unforgivable winter, opted to go investigate the woods to calm the panic. Many disagreed to his actions, he was the only living heir to the Norisu Clan, loved and respected by the people. If something were to happen to him, the whole village will be plunged to deep sorrow.
But, they knew he was strong, stronger than any men in the village, and in the end, they let him go. As he trudged through the forest, he noticed that Chase had also disappeared the same time the rumors started. Not wanting to jump to conclusions unprepared, he only theorized that Chase and the mysterious monster are one in the same. Perhaps it may not be Chase who is the monster but someone or something else.
He saw the rumored marked trees, stepping beyond it, he walked into the dangerous area, his moves careful so as to not alert the monster. With his heightened hearing, he heard fast moving footsteps, eyes stalking him as he tread through the woods. Finally, he saw an old cabin built in the middle of nowhere, the wooden structure weathered down but stable enough for it to still be standing.
Checking for any possible way to look inside the cabin, he tried to look into the windows, he then found one that was clear enough to see the inside. Thanking the moonlight, he peered into the cabin and saw Chase except...
Chase had been trying his hardest to control himself and his animalistic urges. When the full moon struck last week, he had forgotten to get out of the moonlight's way, to shelter himself out of its gaze. With the light of the moon hitting him, he felt his beastial urges surge, his lizard form trying to control his conscience as he fled the forest of where the First Ninja resides, not wanting him in on this mess.
From an old cabin he found during his explorations in the forest, he housed himself in there as he couldn't go back to his lair at this rate. Before long, he removed all of his clothes, finding them constricting and uncomfortable especially in the situation he's into. Sometimes his consciousness would fade in and out, sensing and attacking anything that moves, when he wakes up, he sees the bloodshed he had done.
He wanted to isolate himself. This damn cursed cycle. It turns him into a mindless monster that he so hates. The rut had been eating him from the inside out. Breed. Breed. Breed. That's all he could think about. Since when did he last feel this remarkable powerlessness over himself.
Growling from the arousing pain, locked himself inside the old cabin, not wanting anyone disturbing him from patiently waiting to pass the yearly rut... Yet, a scent hits his nostrils, a far sweeter scent and by far the only good thing he ever gets to experience in this nightmare.
He followed the scent, his mind fixated on finding out what it was. Opening his eyes was... the First Ninja. What was he doing here?
A part of his mind wanted to ravage the man, yet his self-control insisted to not give in to the urges, to warn the man to leave him alone lest he wants more than getting tainted by his own seed. "G-go... away..." He could only muster that much to warn him. Curse him for being this damn vulnerable.
The First Ninja saw Chase, transformed into a hybrid of both his human form and lizard form, larger than he was supposed to be and lying on the floor, being more vulnerable than interaction he had within the past. This Chase... warned him for his own safety. He left the cabin not wanting to induce Chase's wrath to his people.
But, when the next morning arrived, they had found yet another causualty, the death of a huntsman in the northern part of the woods. Torn to shreds. Wanting to stop this madness, he went straight to the library to try and find any records that can identify the warlock's condition.
Plopplop helped him identify books and records about dragons, yet to not avail. He was about to find another more gruesome way to deal with Chase when Plopplop found a hidden scroll from some part of the library. In it described the same conditions the warlock had been experiencing, he read the source of it.
...
"Dragon Rut..." he muttered from under his breath. Plopplop tried to understand what the Norisu heir said but was pushed out of the fight, his friend determined to finish it himself, dignity be damned if it was for the safety of his people.
As the sun began to go down, he went back to the cabin, he sees the cabin door smashed to pieces, a growling creature crashing itself from walls to walls, trying to gain control of itself. Removing his mask, the suit began to disintegrate, it's fabrics slithering out of his body and into the void. "Hey!" he called out to the creature before him.
The creature, Chase, spun around to find the sweet scent present in the room. "Why did he come here?" Chase asked himself, confused as to why the ninja came to him after telling him to go away. Maybe it's because—
"Chase, you can't be suffering alone in this."
Chase was confused, what would he do in this situation?
"Dragon's Rut. A yearly cycle that stimulates a dragon's hormones to help them find a mate. Occurs during the full moon before winter, before the lands become barren. You're hurting under that, aren't you?"
First began to move towards him, inching closer and closer as the sweet scent is becoming harder and harder to resist.
"My people cannot survive through the winter if you keep terrorizing the woods. This rut of yours lasts for a month, but nature doesn't wait. The winter will dwindle the numbers of my people if they can't find enough kindling and food to store. So please..."
He kneeled down on the wooden floor, the warlock wanting to know if his guess about his intent were right.
"Let me help you get through this, for the benefit of the both of us. My people will survive getting wiped out due to nature, and you will never experience this again. Dragon Rut only happens when a dragon hasn't found a mate yet, right? It'll stop when a dragon has one. So make me."
Chase was flabbergasted by the First Ninja's offer. To sacrifice your body for the sake of everyone... How long has he been waiting for this?
When they first met, Chase would often poke and annoy the First Ninja, simply to test the will of the man. One of his jungle cats had warned him of the ninja, how he singlehandedly beat up the Sorcerer that had been wreaking havoc throughout Japan.
Chase had heard of the Sorcerer before, though he never fought the guy, simply a waste of time in his opinion. But when the news spread that the Sorcerer fled the country and went to this new world, he wanted to see if this 'Sorcerer' has any value in them.
When the news of the Sorcerer being defeated by the Ninja had reached to him, he tried to find this 'Ninja', to see how powerful they were if they were able to defeat the feared Sorcerer. At last, he found the Ninja, he witnessed the strength and cunning the man has, outwitting his enemies and is a swift fighter.
He tried to get the man on his side, he offered anything a normal person would greed for; money, women, strength, chaos. Anything. Yet the Ninja wouldn't budge. He resorted to underhanded tactics, seduction and all that. It was when he messed with the village people, which the Ninja ruled over, had the man snapped and fought against him, challenging him for him to leave the village people alone if the man wins.
It was a tough fight, both Chase and the First Ninja were severely injured. Chase couldn't believe it, since when had been a time when he was this severely beat, wounds and stabs puncturing so deep it takes more than a day to heal? Magic so powerful that the both of them were on equal standing? That he lost to the man before him? How could someone so powerful use it on the side of silly righteousness. Like Monk Guan.
Chase fulfilled his promise, yet he still bothered the Ninja, after all the promise was to leave the village people, not the Ninja. It was an on and off banter, they would bicker the next, then they would have tea together, sitting alongside each other and just enjoying each other's company. Eventually, unecessary feelings grew, though none of them suspected it. Shooing away or scoffing at the mushy feeling, avoiding it like the plague.
Until this night...
"Make me your mate."
How could he say no?
Letting go of the remaining restraint he has, he lunged at the man, his teeth bearing fangs as he ravaged his neck, biting every spot available. He ripped First's kimono and undershirts out of the way, leaving the ninja shirtless with only his pants on.
First was shoved against the wall, the comforter cushioning his fall as he sat on the floor. He looked up and saw the lizard hybrid glooming above him, he checked to see the hybrid's dick, "Fuck..." He cussed in a whispered tone. It's larger than what an ordinary man would have, probably because of the transformation that it had grown to be bigger, but still...
His train of thoughts were crashed back to reality when a hand ran over through the scalp of his hair, grabbing it tightly as it pulled him towards the lizard hybrid's dick. First held his breath before putting the length into his mouth, tasting it as he only managed to get it halfway in.
Chase, not satisfied with what the man is doing, shoved the entire length into his mouth, effectively activating First's gag reflex as he tries to breath. Using the hand that holds First's hair, he began thrusting into the man's throat in and out, First being only able to hold onto Chase's hips to help be stable while sucking him.
Somewhere along the line, the tie that holds First's hair up had been torn, leaving his hair trickling down on his flushed face as Chase released inside him, the man almost choking over the sheer amount of it. "Is this it—" the First Ninja was laid down on the futon, he looked down to see the hybrid putting his claws on the fabric of his pants, threatening to tear them out.
"Damn— Chase don't you dare rip my pants, I'll freeze to death when I get back to my house." He threatened, stomping Chase's head out of the way and quickly removing his pants and undergarments. Due to his aggression with the hybrid, when he finished his action, Chase shoved him down the dirty futon again, this time with more force.
Dust clouded the air as Chase lifted one of First's legs, putting it on his shoulder and admiring his thigh. He sunk his teeth in the plush flesh, the ninja's head arched back, hissing at the pain. Chase continued this action for a few more times before placing his hand on the ninja's hips.
He lined his tongue on First's hole, pushing in as soft wetness enveloped when he entered in it. The man let out a gasp, his eyes rolled back as he shut his eyes. He cupped his hands to his mouth as he tried desperately to cover out any sound that comes out of him as the lizard hybrid' tongue pushed through the man's insides.
After letting the tongue get out of his slick covered hole, Chase lined up his dick towards First's entrance. He looked at the shivering man before him, engraving the face deep into memory as he caressed his cheeks. "Just do it already, dammit."
Impatient. Eager. I can't control myself...
He thrusted inside First hard, leaving First knocked out of his breath as Chase wasted no time pounding harshly inside him, leaving him no room to breathe through as air keeps getting knocked out of him. His insides clenched hard as the hybrid finds himself enjoying the tight fitted hole he had been thrusting in and out to.
First, not being able to control his emotions anymore, letting lust cloud his eyes and letting out a string of moans, tearing up at the break-neck pace Chase has settled in doing. His hair was sprawled on the futon as his dick had been hard the whole time, not having the time to touch it.
Suddenly, Chase positioned First as his back was now faced to the wall, the lizard hybrid continuing to fuck him until he managed to find the man's g-spot. Moans and heavy breathing were to be heard as it echoed throughout the old cabin.
Finally, he felt Chase stopping his movements, thrusting deep into him as he filled First with his seed. Immediately sinking his teeth on the ninja's neck, the venom emitted from his teeth had blended itself with First's blood, earning the man a permanent bite mark, effectively marking him as per Dragon culture.
The hybrid pumped out the ninja's dick, letting him get his release as they slumped over to the futon. Chase hugged the man tightly on his waist, not letting the ninja get away from him that night. When morning came, Chase noticed the ninja gone from his side, First had been dressing himself up, his pants and undergarments the only remaining clothes he wore because he tore the other clothings to shreds.
He hugged the ninja from behind, "What are we now, Ninja?" He asked. The First Ninja turned his head around to face the Heylin prince, a faint smirk on his face if one looked closely into it, "Still rivals.".
---
Back at present time, the First Ninja reminisced about the event, still feeling the sensations Chase had given him that time. "What are we, really?" He sighed, not wanting to admit that he missed him.
"Gramps, do you know anything about a man named Chase Young?" Jake asked, shocking his Gramps as he spits out his tea. A cough fit ensued as he cleared his throat, "What did you say?". ------------------------------------------------------

Oh gawd I dreamt of quite a weird AU(?) last night so yapping ahead!!
So for whatever reason instead of getting a full ss3, we just get random episodes here and there about their 11th-12th year? Randy and Howard's relationship r still ride or die but they managed to form a bigger friend circle with Theresa, Debbie, Julian, Bucky and Rachel and often have lunch together in a more darker gloomier version of the cafeteria (think it's just my irl school cafeteria that got projected into my dreams 😭 but for shits and giggles let's say Slimovitz ran out of budget to fix it completely after another monster attack). Unfortunately there was an assignment in class that put Howard and Debbie in the same group, idk about everyone else, and they have to research about stuff like Ninja's Japan origins, tactics, fighting techniques, types of weapons he used etc. Ofc no one knows it better than randy (and kinda howard) so when they were fighting about it during lunch, Randy just casually went "no actually because if you maneuver your body like that you wouldn't ensure a safe landing and might twist your ankle, also the chain sickle is used more as a defensive weapon such as blocking a sword, locking the opponent's weapon in place and potentially yanking it towards you, and did you know smoke bombs are crafted wit-" accidentally yapping about things Nomicon taught him until Howard cuts in to save his butt "see Debbie, even Cunningham's more knowledgeable about the ninja you sure you've been studying him properly for your reports?" which re-enabled their argument and divert the attention away from randy(which he's gonna thank Howard for later). A bit of time later an attack happen in town while they were working on the assignment in the cafeteria after school, Randy ofc had to leave but it'd be suspicious so he made an excuse maybe smth along the lines of they can learn more by watching the ninja fight and everyon agreed. Again he separated from them mid-walk to do some ninja-ing, which worried theresa that he's nowhere to be seen while Howard and Debbie is still fighting about their research. Howard couldn't take it anymore as well as lowkey bothered by Theresa so he called randy to prove that he's safe, AND to call for backup on his ninja knowledge. The phone call was the same vibe as ones in the show and while Howard was too engrossed on the convo, Ninja!Randy holding the phone answering while fighting got launched backwards to the front of the alleyway where the group was but randy didn't see them so he was unaware that they heard the phone convo. When he was finished and transformed back, he immediately ran into them after turning a corner and the first thing he said is "heeyyyy uh so I got a lil lost where were you guys? Ahaha" all for Debbie to respond with a shocked expression "YOU'RE the ninja?!?"
"what?? Nooooo I I am definitely not the Ninja psshh what makes you say that? I'm just a lil ol me Randy that's right there's no ninja here-", Theresa then explained they overheard his phone call and Randy gave in, only to be slightly offended to see Bucky looking defeated and handing Rachel $5. Cartoon scene cut and we see randy on his hands and knees in front of debbie(nothing too serious its like those comedy anime gags type of pose)
"What a sight. An 800 year old ninja vs the power of journalism." Bucky tries to lighten up the mood. Randy is begging Debbie not to write about this (for the second time) and she's having a hard time accepting (again) so she asked "what if I do write it? What would you do?" making randy look up at her with a serious face without saying anything, causing slight misunderstanding
"y-you're gonna erase me?!"
"what?? No ofc not I was just gonna mind wipe you!!!"
"mind wipe?"
"uh I mean-"
"what, by using that book that you sometimes drool on while being unconscious?"
"W-what book?-"
"is that like an 800 year old ancient ninja book of wisdom?"
"HOW ARE YOU STILL GOOD AT THIS???"
"wait 'still'?"
"CUNNINGHAM WILL YOU STOP TALKING SHE FEEDS ON YOUR ANSWERS" Howard shouted from the side
"do you mean you've mind wiped me before??"
"huh is it that time in 9th grade where you broadcasted to the whole town that he's the ninja which turned out to be false?" Rachel questioned
"I did what in 9th grade?????"
"... Debbie please" Randy pleaded
"Randy this is ridiculous" Debbie pinched her nose bridge "then why don't you just mind wipe us this time?"
"um..."
"because you can't or because the book will get mad at you?"
"enough with the mind wipe how did YOU know he was the ninja Rachel?" Howard saving randy once again
"well that time I got turned into a monster and the Ninja made me an apology song, it sounded awfully familiar to randy during music class so I just guessed, plus whenever we hang out and there's an emergency he's always the first one to disappear on us"
"and you gotta admit Randy's jokes are as bad as the ninja's " Bucky chimed in
The mood between them improved so debbie eventually agreed because they're friends for the past year or so, and that's when I started to wake up :') one more weird thing is the ninja in my dream didn't have a red scarf around his neck, it's more like black-blue color and idk maybe he looks cooler that way? At least it is in my dream
Thank u for reading I'll think about whether to make this into a real AU or not 😭😭 Edit: i just realized i dreamt of Julian but the entire time he was standing behind theresa, also worrying about randy but idk why he didnt do anything else :')

I can’t believe I never posted it here before so here we are. 2023 artwork posting as my first 2024 post on here, why not!! Anyways, I’m working on a small next gen of one of the most underrated Disney cartoons, Randy Cunningham 9th Grade ninja. I got into this show in the summer of 2023 and it’s still one of my favorite Disney shows, along with cartoons like Kim Possible or Darkwing Duck.
I drew concept art for my main character of the next gen, Alexis Weinerman, daughter to the previous Ninja’s best friend, Howard Weinerman. Alexis is the ninja of 2030, experiencing her first years of high school in her own way. Becoming the first female ninja, Norrisville now becomes suspicious of how many different ninjas there have been over the years. However, she still fights on to defeat the wandering evil Randy couldn’t defeat before, looking up to family, friends, and a small friend she looks for advice the Nomicon can’t provide.
This shows deserves the recognition and I’ll happily show art until this show gets it’s deserved 3rd season.

Rc9gn ficlet 1
Had an idea of Howard getting some magic from Tengu possession and convincing the Nomicon to let him do some magic, quick thing I put together on a road trip so no spell or grammar check lol
Used bleach for the spell.
Howard Weinerman was not one to stress whenever Randy faced an enemy. Sure Randy had a few close calls but he pulled through and was the most stubborn person he knew, he wouldn’t give up.
That was the problem, whatever this machine was McFist, or being more accurate Viceoy, focused in outlasting the Ninja in this fight. Which was going in three hours and Howard could see his friend slowing down.
The robot, which looked like a bipedal hunched over hedgehog, was getting closer if not out right hitting with each attack. The spikes on its back randomly extending with spikes tip tendrils to attack from blind spots.
Howard was getting frustrated, a part of him has been for a while.
he wasn’t a fighter, not like Randy, hell he’d rather be on the side lines but being helpless like this? That was grating especially since Randy can’t get away to check with the ninja nomicon for any aide.
Howard, however, could.
Even if he couldn’t do something active he could pass the knowledge to Randy. So he moved, slipping away from the crowed that had formed to watch the fight and grabbed Randy’s bag.
Once he found a private spot he grabbed the book “alright nomicon I know you don’t like me but Randy can’t get to you for help, so eitheir you open up, shloop me in and let me help Randy or your out a ninja, and more important I’m out my best friend, so open up or no telling what will happen to eight hundred years of knowledge when I pass a fire”
The nomicon seemed to glow lightly, pulsing like it was wrestling with its self so Howard gave another push.
“I have yet to fully hold Randy back right? Or reveal his secret, I’ve slipped yes but never broke his trust like that, and the giant bird possessed me, I’m in too deep, let me help”
Howard swallowed, the larger boy griped the book “please, just give me what he needs to know, I Know I’m not a fighter so give me the lesson he needs”
The Nomicon glowed bright and opened sucking Howard’s consciousness into it as he fell and landed in a stylized Asian temple as words formed infront of him as he lifted him self up.
‘Friendship is a weight a ninja cannot bear’ as a line crossed through it and a new line appeared ‘strong bonds allow for chains to hold down even the greatest beasts’.
As a cartoony lightning bolt formed in front of him and split revealing a marker.
A series of more text appeared along with a poorly drawn arm with the scribbles on it.
“Oh copy this down? Alright I asked for this”
Howard half grumbled there’s a part of him that just wanted to pass info on but… he wanted to help and be more than just the confidant so Howard copied the writing accurately.
“I’m trusting you nomicon, I have no idea how I can see this once I’m out but let’s see how this goes”
Soon Howard was ejected and back in his body as he moved back to where the fighting was, Randy was looking worse for wear more weapons scattered around and the crowed had disappeared.
“Ra- Ninja!”
“How- citizen! Get out of here! The rest are at safety I’ll handle this!”
“Oh how’s that been going for the last three hours?”
“Wha-“
“Eyes front Cunningham! Nomicon hopefully gave me something to help!”
Randy was confused but shrugged it off. Howard was many things but never did him dirty so he focused on the fight once more.
Howard for his part looked where he wrote in his arm the lines formed in his hand writting.
Randy often mentioned how it was like floating text would appear to help him figure things out, so the red head guessed this was the books doing.
“Alright here goes nothing” following the instructions he wrote he held two fingers up, palm facing the robot “You who is crowned with the name of Man, wearing a Mask of blood and flesh, flying on ten thousand fluttering wings, with Thunder's carriage and an empty Spinning Wheel, break the Light into six pieces, carve a twin Lotus on a wall of Pale Blue Flames, and await the Blazing Fires to reach the Distant Heavens!”
As Howard chanted he felt a memory of a memory surface the feeling of the tengu as it took over, but this time he was in control.
A series of fire pillars appeared around him solidifying into thin, wide pillars. With the last word the pillars launched at the robot’s back, pinning it to the ground.
Randy jumped at the opening his sword cleaving through the robot, as it stopped working Randy turned towards Howard.
“What the juice!? Since when could you do that!?”
Howard was wide eyed “about 10 minutes ago? I didn’t check the time but..”
“Hold that thought man, let’s get some food and talk” Randy said as he pulled the mask off and Howard passed the nomicon back ignoring the confused look from the taller boy
“Later Cunningham, you said food and I’m hungry”
The two shared a look and laughed, once in a private corner at the arcade, Howard gave a run down before pointing at Randy “don’t expect me to fight but, saying words? That I can do”
Randy smiled “hey I appreciate the save, and if you can use magic? That’s so Bruce so you do you”
“You think the nomicon will share more or this a one time thing?” Howard asked.
Randy shrugged “i barely know what the nomicon thinks as is, let’s just roll and see how it goes”
“Fair enough”

i need to hear more about transed gender randy
ok how does this episode actually go. i know it opens on some bullshit; maybe morgan beats randy and howards ddr scores and randys mad because shes getting recognition and preventing them from having the high score on every machine in the game hole. they complain, maybe accuse her that she only won because shes hot, and shes like idk man get good? randy goes to the ninjanomicon for advice and the nomicon says something along the lines of yeah, get good, you cant be the best at everything "wearing too many gold medals will weigh down your neck". randy is like ummm what im HEARING is that the NINJA needs to get that high score so that RANDY isnt the best at everything but *I* still get the praise? and the nomicon does its traditional facepalm of you literally couldnt understand any less. and so he finds some ancient ninja technique of grace that's called like. art of the crane or some shit. and he suits up and maxes out the score on the machine and beats morgan and everyone cheers and hes like haha see this was worth it and will have no long term consequences! and then detransforms and hes a girl. paragraph break here
howard has some kind of unintelligent DUDE YOURE A CHICK response, they both freak out, howard appraises her looks and shes like nothing changed why are you judging my appearance now??? howards like idk i guess it just occured to me. and then some dance themed mcfist robot gets involved and people appraise the entire fight by commenting on the ninjas figure, how she must be inspired by the guy ninja, she doesnt seem as competent, general sexism you see in the average youtube comments section. randys like wtj guys. and eventually she goes to morgan to ask her how to kill this thing and morgan is like absolutely, girls support girls, and they do it together and randy finally learns his lesson that having EVERY gold medal around your neck weighs you down because you just expect to win and cant handle the loss. and then goes back to the nomicon like ok i learned my lesson can i be a dude again now i hate people commenting on my body while im trying to do my job. but same as the art of disguise and the ninja supersenses it's one of those things where you need to master it or it masters you so its like nah you gotta do this one yourself chief. and so the final segment is him watching morgan win her high score back on the ddr machine and genuinely appraising her dance talent without bringing her gender or her looks into it and he pops back to normal and howard is eating nachos like oh thank god i thought you were gonna be a chick forever and we weren't gonna be able to play video games any more and randy is like howard did you learn ANYTHING from this and howards like idk girl ninja would be hot??? and thats the end of the episode

Instead of creating fan art for today's prompt, I was just gonna share my thoughts on future Randy (and a little bit of Howard).
I think it's obvious from other teenage heroes in this genre (Danny Phantom + Spiderman come to mind), Randy really doesn't consider his ninja duties as a burden. Sometime it annoys him, sure, but I think he's actually super excited to do it- the pros out way the cons. At the same time though, I think it's fair to say that Randy just... hasn't thought about the future just yet. This can be due to the pace of the show and only having 11 mins, but Randy never really reflected on that part of being the ninja. Not only would he have to give up his mantle, but he doesn't even get to remember all the cool stuff he did and learned along the way.
It's really interesting too because the reason Randy was chosen was because he could learn from his mistakes. While it certainly helps him become a better person, it's primarily for him to become a better ninja. Both Randy and the Nomicon are focused on the present with the ninja that nobody's really prepping him for after.
I pretty sure that Randy would do fine afterwards, but he'd basically be starting back at square one whereas everybody else in his life is probably grown up by then. I also especially like this one fanart that shows Howard kinda getting to do his own thing without Randy. they touch on it in the show, but Randy doesn't really do well without his biffer, and, with Randy having his ninja mantle removed soon, I imagine that the thought of them drifting apart is pretty scary. I do think if we got to see him get to the 12th grade, we'd probably get some angst with Randy coming to terms with the fact that his peak is nearly over >:]

Hello! I love your works, they're all so cool! I especially love your rc9gn ones because it's my current hyperfixation. Do you think you can make some (even your 3-sentences ones would make me really happy!)? I have a bunch of prompts!
Prompt 1: Viceroy trying to create a robot, but something went wrong (Bash/McFist/a robo-ape probably messed it up) and it caused an electric short-age to the whole town
Prompt 2: There's a thunderstorm at the end of class and everyone was advised to wait out the storm before they could get home, shenanigans ensues
Prompt 3: (contains human!Nomicon) the Nomicon thinks about all the good and bad things his current student has done
I have more, but I don't want to spam you with all of them, so here's all I'll give! It's fine if you can't do any of it, I'm just thankful for the work you've alr done!
Thanks so much, Anon! I'm sorry I'm getting to this so late, but I am delighted you like what I've written. I really appreciate you letting me know!
These prompts are best for ficlet prompts (specific scenarios always are), and unfortunately my ask box isn't open for that at the moment, but I'll turn them into three sentence prompts: blackout, stormbound, and human!Nomicon AU, reflections. I'm specifying what I'm boiling the prompts down to because I don't take specific scenarios for three sentence fic prompts anymore, so I ask for a word or two (along with the AU if it's an AU) for those, and this is how I'm going to list them in my three sentence fic list. (I'm still going to do your scenarios because I'm assuming you're new and don't know what I've been doing more recently, but this will give you an example of how a prompt can be boiled down.) You are welcome to still share any ideas you have, though! (It's always fun to see what people come up with.) I just won't necessarily turn them into ficlets.
Prompt 1 - Blackout
“Viceroy,” McFist growled in the sudden silence that seemed all the louder for the absence of any hum of machinery, “what did you do?”
Viceroy pinched the bridge of his nose—of course he’d get the blame for this when McFist, in all his enthusiasm, had been the one to activate the prototype before it was ready—but somehow summoned the patience to say, “It seems premature activation caused a power outage that, if the view out the window is any indication, is affecting the entire town; if you had waited—”
“The Ninja was right here,” snapped McFist, his words nearly—but not quite—covering up the sound of a pair of feet hitting the floor behind Viceroy and their owner no doubt dropped from above, “and if he’s going to show his face under my own roof, I’m going to send every WND we have after him!”
Prompt 2 - Stormbound
Randy didn’t think it would be too long before the rain let up enough for them to safely leave, but Howard—and clearly Heidi—had other ideas, since Howard had his phone out and was willingly watching Heidi’s Me-Cast, where she was saying, “Hey, N-villers, Heidi here with the DL on the downpour; the storm has us all stuck in school, so I propose a contest: first person to—hey!”
“First person to discover the real secrets of Norrisville,” continued Debbie, her face only partly in frame and the entire camera bouncing as she scrambled to keep the phone out of Heidi’s reach, “will win the prize. So how about it—who wants to unmask the Ninja with me?”
Prompt 3 - Reflections, Human!Nomicon AU
He would be lying if he called Randy his best student or his most skilled one, but Randy may well be the one who most embodied what it meant to be the Norrisville Ninja; he had a heart that wouldn’t fail him, and when he dealt with the likes of the Sorcerer and now the Sorceress, that was the most valuable of all.
Of course, he also had more luck than the last ten Ninjas combined, and at times like these, it was hard to accept (despite ample supporting evidence) that that luck was entirely natural and not the result of a magical artefact altering the luck of others and bending fortune to his own favour, no matter how well that would explain the current predicament.
“Yo, Nomi,” called Randy, since Randy had insisted on calling him that once he’d realized he wasn’t speaking with the one he called First Ninja, “now that you’re, like, a person and not a book, this is a perfect time to teach me how to do the Ninja Dragon Fist, so how ‘bout it?”

@standbowed // RANDY STARTER
This was going to be Randy's first time visiting Japan.
To be totally truthful, he was as stoked as he was worried; Norrisville had never gone so long without it's ninja, and the Nomicon seemed to be pretty against letting anyone else take up that role. When consulting the book, asking if it really would be fine to leave, Nomicon had reminded him of the sorcerer's defeat in a roundabout way -- the same pointlessly cryptic way, as always, but still. Randy knew that was an attempt to encourage him to visit.
Besides, if it ever truly came down to it, apparently there was a safeguard way to get home. It was claimed to be a draining but powerful method, from what Randy skimmed; so, all signs were pointing to go! Enjoy himself while he can! It's not gonna be often he gets this kind of chance, after all.. After both of his mothers agreed to let him go, he was elated to tell Howard the good news and invite him along, too!
But the big problem with that arose when Howard revealed he wasn't going to go, and for once, Randy wasn't sure how he'd fare. Howard refused to go because he said that such a trip would be boring if he'd have to study. He wasn't exactly happy about Randy going on this trip, though; blowing up his phone, trying to beg him to stay, entice him with all the cool releases he'd miss over the summer -- even trying to say that if he went, their friendship would be over. And no matter how guilty he'd felt about such a prospect, it's not like he could simply go back on all that planning. No matter how caring his mothers may be, they wouldn't be happy to see him back out at the last minute. Randy pleaded for Howard to come to his senses, but he just... wouldn't!
Howard, in a fit of anger, had declared that if Randy went and spent his Summer there, not only would he be a "totally embarassing nerdy shoob" for it, but also that their friendship would be over. That he'd never talk to him again. That prospect DID freak Randy out, but -- he knew Howard was probably all talk. Hopefuilly. Maybe. And even if he went, he couldn't stay mad. Right? So...
He went anyways, much to Howard's chagrin. And even if he was pretty upset about the note he and Howard left off on at the moment, he was pretty excited to finally travel out of Norrisville for the first time in forever; not only because of the fact that he couldn't really leave with the Sorcerer wreaking havoc everywhere, but also, he and his moms have just never had the money to go elsewhere. But with this being a sponsored summer trip, well -- how could he say no?
The next few weeks were an exciting blur. Packing, preparing, working extra hard for chores, and most importantly -- letting his penpal and online friend know that he was coming to visit. They'd been talking for so long now, and never really thought they'd have a chance to meet in person -- and Randy, he was super excited to get to! They were going to their city, after all, for the trip; because it wasn't far from bigger cities, and because it was MOSTLY a 'study' trip, they needed a quieter place to stay. Morioh was a beautiful little town, peaceful and quiet from what he'd heard; it would be a nice break from the crazy bullshit of Norrisville.
So, Morioh's Grand Hotel it was -- after a long flight, and many hours at the airports and on planes, they were finally allowed to go to their rooms and sleep. Undoubtedly everyone was experiencing some sort of jet lag -- and Randy was no exception. Try as he might to relax for the day, he just couldn't. He let his mothers know he landed safely, but then, he'd seen all those incoming texts from his biffer; with Howard blowing up his phone and being in enclosed spaces for so long.. it made him feel itchy. An annoyed kind of itch that creeped over his body, stressed every facet of himself the hell out -- he didn't like this one bit.
The AUDACITY of Howard!! Ugh!! Well, he just isn't going to think about him right now. He has more fun things to do, like -- sit .. in .. this hotel room ..?
Ok. Perhaps. It wasn't all that cool, just chilling out.
He really needed to get out, actually. Yeah, that'd probably feel WAY better. Right now, he felt MUCH too walled in -- he needed space. Seeing as how his roommates were all sleeping or busy elsewhere, he figured he could probably get out of dodge for a bit. Powering his phone down all the way so he wouldn't be spammed more, he tossed it on his bed with a bit of a disdainful look before crouching to the floor. His hand reaches down and pulls up the mask over his nose with a swift motion, and the familiar swirl of ribbons snaking around his body brought him comfort he didn't even know he needed right now.
Popping his head up from the bed and taking one more peek around the room, his eyes landed on the window of the Grand Hotel's, and softening his footsteps to be undetectable, he made his way over to said window, pulled it up, and ..... dipped out, just like that! Oh, man. This already felt so freeing. And just when he though it couldn't be any better, he spotted so many things to swing from -- trees, lamp posts, house tops he could run across .. Maaaaybe doing so may bring attention to him. Or, maybe, if he was fast enough, nobody would notice! ( people did, in fact, notice. but that's an issue for LATER randy. not present randy. )
It'd been some time before he even remotely stopped to slow down, enjoying being able to just swing about and explore the city on his own without any danger of getting his shit absolutely wrecked. He came to rest in the top of a tree in what looked like a park -- and while hidden from people, he tried to think of what to do next. Maybe hit up the arcade? Run around some more? Patrol the unfamiliar city and memorize it's layout in case of an attack?
Then, he saw her.
A lone girl, on a bench. In the middle of a somewhat bustling park, alone.. And she looked so, so sad. And though the Sorcerer was long gone, probably not even anywhere NEAR here, the very notion of someone feeling so down still freaked him out, given he's too uncomfortably aware of how such emotions could be taken advantage of. So, hero instincts kicking in, and a little bit of curiosity getting the better of him, he'd dipped from the tree branch he'd perched from right down to the bench itself. From her perspective, there was a simple rustle of leaves, and then this stranger appeared. How odd that he managed to do that so fast! But, even odder was probably his current look. Nobody else here was dressed like him even remotely. He got a few weird stares, but now wasn't a time where he was focused on staying on the DL; he wanted to see what was up.
In his best attempt at Japanese, he asked her a question. His words are drawled, and a little stuttered as his nervousness takes hold around such a pretty girl. That, and old habits have him cautiously watching in case he needs to wave away any peculiar, nasty green smoke...
“ Heeyyy! Hey there, whyyy do you look so down? Are you okay? ”
#╰┈➤ ⚔️ [ REPLY ] randy#long post#get ready for him to do eeeverything in his power to try and make her feel better!! :D#also..#i was rewatching clips and the show in general and#woof howard is a toxic friend at times <:)#but. i set it up cause i think it could be a cool point to touch on later#when they meet out of randy's disguise and all#i only semi recently realized that upon rewatching of the show. and i mean i do still like howard but hes as nice to randy as he is horrible

this is messy but
for whatever reason, they have to use the tengu again. howard really doesn't want to, but randy forces him.
they fight, ninja wins, howard is depossessesd
Howard starts acting weird. more bird-ish mannerisms. keeps talking about weird shit.
Randy: hmmm what should we do today
Howard: you could always let me out of that stone again
Randy: uh. what
Howard: what i didn't say anything
it turns out, the possession is taking more of a toll on Howard than they thought. while under possession, howard could see all of it's memories, and feel it's feelings.
tengu is pissed at the ninja for stealing it's feathers, and locking it in the stone for centuries. howard starts getting more upset with randy. partly for leaving him behind to do ninja stuff, and partly for all the ridiculous shit he's done.
howard KNOWS it wasn't Randy who did all that. It was some previous ninja from centuries ago. but he can't help being angry at the ninja for it.
randy asks the nomicon whats going on. nomicon gives him some weird, cryptic advice. something along the lines of the 'when you use a friend you gain an enemy' lesson, and the 'what is wild shouldn't be caged' lesson.
the ninja has to make amends with the tengu, randy has to make amends with howard.
they make amends. tengu gets some sick powerup. ninja can control it much better, and howard can deal with it's possession much better. tengu doesn't want to destroy the world.
maybe instead of being locked in the stone, the ninja can summon it at will? still needs to possess someone, but howard's more chill about it.
it just kinda flies around, like an actual bird until it's summoned. likes to fly around howard's house.
anyone wanna hear about this 'reformed tengu'-ish idea I have

The full summarized plot of Ninja Fest for @mrfartpowered enjoy! Plus a Concept Design for Randy and Bucky along with Terry
Terry is able to control the students of Norrisvile with his advertisements by using one of Viceroy’s old inventions: the truth tone on Terry’s sitar. McFist is obviously skeptical that it will even work as that invention failed him last time but Terry reassures him that his younger brother was doing the whole method wrong with that punk noise whatever the kids call it and so the new generation can listen to some real music and run wild.
The next day Randy entered school like normal just to see everyone dressed like a hippie, he thinks this is some sort of school event so he doesn’t catch on quickly. He starts to have doubts when the Fowler twins are following the trend but he puts it in the back of his mind until he notices Howard is also dressed like that and acting weird because to his knowledge Howard said “Cunningham, one thing I ain’t is a trippy freak those guys are a bunch of shoobs”
Randy immediately gives an excuse to use the bathroom to ask the nomicon what’s wrong just to get his lesson. Obviously Randy doesn’t get it at first and gets shoop back into consciousness, before he can vent out his frustrations he hears a strange noise from the next stall upon opening it Bucky’s head is stuck in the toilet. As Randy helps him out Bucky explains Bash was giving him a swirly like usual but left earlier after hearing an announcement from the school speakers something about a celebration for the ninja by Mcfist and left him there since yesterday. Hearing this Randy excuses himself from Bucky.
As the ninja Randy infiltrates Mcfist to figure out more information about this event but he’s suddenly ambushed by Robo-apes and confronted by the two brothers which Randy was shocked Mcfist had a brother apparently evil runs in the family. Before Mcfist can destroy the ninja, Terry argues that they can handle this peacefully and still do the ninja fest plan but Mcfist says they can destroy him now and forget the plan.
Their argument went on for so long Randy was able to escape, now the brothers are arguing with themselves. As Randy returns home he tries to figure out how the commercial was able to fool everyone but without Heidi’s techno knowledge or Howard ability to business scams Randy is at a loss. When his Cat Cassidy toyed with the remote, Randy was going to scold her but when he looked back at the tv he noticed the truth tone on Terry’s sitar and figured out how the mind control works.
During the festival Terry announces everyone to find their inner self and reveal it towards everyone (Basically if you are the ninja come forward or at least know who they are) Howard was about to raise his hand but the ninja puts a little stop to this fun event to stop the brothers once again.
Terry, tired of the ninja ruining this peaceful gathering, attacks the ninja by using the sitar sound waves. The ninja tells off Terry he’s being such a hypocrite right now while he goes for another attack but fails again, which Terry responds with “Sometimes you gotta break traditions man”
Ninja Randy can’t fight like this and thinks for a second about his lesson as he spots Bucky in the crowd and goes towards him. Bucky is excited to see the ninja and yaps like usual but the ninja reprimands Bucky to stay focus, asking him does he remember the
“Everybody Ninj-along” song and of course Bucky does and asks why. The ninja tells him to sing that loud and proud because he’s about to be on stage.
As Bucky (Dressed up ofc) sings the cringeworthy song it breaks everyone out terry’s trance and destroys the truth tone. Everyone demands for their money back angrily at the Mcfist brothers before Terry can ask one more favor to his younger brother Mcfist leaves him to the angry crowd.
As the ninja thanks Bucky for all his help, Bucky tells the ninja proudly he will always sing for him especially the Everybody Ninj-along song. The ninja laughs with “No” and smokes bomb away, Randy meets up with Howard who’s clearly confused and dazed asking how he ended up here plus why is he dressed like a hippie.
#About Marci she had to handle some business while Viceroy was not about to working with two mcfists with no pay so he dipped#I’ve had fun writing this#I will design Terry later along with another things for this#episode rewrite#Randy and Bucky don’t necessarily look like hippies but I wanted an excuse to put them in 70s clothing#writers on tumblr#writing#I haven’t come up with the lesson sorry#but if anyone have ideas for this one please tell me#rc9gn au#rc9gn#rc9gn ninja fest#randy cunnigham#randy cunningham 9th grade ninja#bucky hensletter#rc9gn mcfist#terry mcfist#Hannibal Mcfist#hippie#ninja fest

Is that for moi?
“What this old thing- nah. I got you something way cooler.” Randy laughed awkwardly, giving his bag a shake. The glow persisted, seeping out of the satchel and curling around them weakly. “Omnious glowing things do not make good presents.”
Mismasked AU Lore Under the Cut
-//-
When Randy ends up with one of the sorcerer balls from Catfish, he has 0 clue where to hide it.
He can’t use the Nomicon’s old hiding places, because those keep getting found.
He most certainly is not going to leave it in his locker because he knows for a fact how easy it is to bust one open
He can’t stash it in his room- that’s where the mask got stolen in the first place.
It’s been a stressful week little sleep and increasing paranoia so when Julian’s party comes along, he just brings the stupid thing with him. In all honesty, the thing creeps him out and he just wants to chuck it in the garbage at this point and let it be someone else’s problem.
Howard doesn’t know why Randy brought his bag nor does he particularly care. He’s more worried at why his bro looks like he’s expecting to get whacked.
Julian, for his part, is fascinated. Having suspected Randy was more magically inclined from his randomly dropped but oddly accurate/specific spouts of knowledge on the subject, he has to know what’s in the bag.
Events happen as in Canon: Howard insults Julian’s magic trick, Julian runs to the bathroom sobbing, Randy goes to apologize to him and gets dragged into the Nomicon, comes back to his bag missing, finds Julian with it in the lost and found, and gets it back.
Randy promptly goes to leave and get this things as far away as possible, but runs into Howard who demands to know whats wrong. While Randy tries to come up with a plausible excuse, he ends up deflecting Howard and leaving just as the doors lock down, avoiding/worsening both issues.
Thus, the Julian-stalks-Randy-for-Magic arc and the Howard-thinks-something-up arc begins!
Randy eventually gets Debbie’s help and ends up making a puzzle box to store the Sorcerer’s ball. Not only is it a pain in the but to open, but its also lodged in the back of his closet to prevent any “accidental” swipes at it.
It’s not much but at least he’s not stressing out about 24/7.

RC9GN- Post Series Timeline
Who does Norrisville turn to when it’s their own protector they need saving from?
Timeline below cut b/c its long
For his Junior year, Randy studied at Yamanouchi High School to improve his ninja skills
Between the defeated Sorcerer and McFist occupied with the latest addition to his family, Norrisville was fine
Randy Graduates and returns the Ninja Mask and Ninja Nomicon back to the messenger.
He is mindwiped, along with Howard
Still extremely fit and prone to parkour, his impomptu stunts are regularly filmed and posted by Howard.
This leads Randy to getting increasingly renowned
Decides to compete on America Ninja Warrior
People start to notice him
30 seconds to Math hits off but it’s not Howard nor Randy’s focus
Howard becomes huge on YouTube
Randy gets picked up to do a movie after crashing unceremoniously on set
Played Flamezilla in the BH6 film, Directed by Buford Von Stomm
Kicked off his acting career
After filming in San Fransokyo, ends up fell in love with the city and moves there
However, something happened when he was about 21.
The Next Ninja of Norrisville, Drake House, pulled an ‘85.
While Drake did his job well at first as the Ninja, he let his arrogance and pride get the better of him.
Despite the Nomicon’s warnings, his behavior worsened with time
At the end of his Sophmore year, he was declared “Unfit to be a Ninja/”
When the Messenger went to retrieve the Mask and Nomicon, however, he fought back, tearing the Mask in two, ripping some pages from the Nomicon, and accidentally killing the Messenger in the process.
(the Messenger, like the Phoenix regenerates with a new life every few hundred years; he’ll be fine but it’ll take him a century or so to regenerate)
When the messenger died, The Nomicon knew the Way of the Norrisville ninja was ultimately fucked if it didn’t fix things
It manages to ship itself with the lower half of the mask to it’s last Ninja through a series of intricate maneuvers
Randy finds a battered cardboard box package addressed to him with a strange note in front of his apartment, he kind of shrugs it off until it starts shaking.
Finding a strangely familiar book and the bottom half of what looks like a ski mask, he’s more than a little curious as something starts tugging at the back of his mind.
Dropped like a rock on to the kitchen counter to the floor as he’s schloomped into the Nomicon for the first time in 3 years.
The Nomicon, despite it’s damage, manages to reveal to him what happened and restores his memories, declaring that he has to fill the Messenger’s role and give the next Ninja the materials and training they need to defeat the oncoming storm
What has been working for the last 800 years will not be enough
The Nomicon’s a little traumatized at being treated so horribly
So Randy’s sent on this mini quest to not only stop the current norrisville Ninja and give him the Ultimate lesson,
He has to find a Cloth Mage and Grimoire Specialist to repair the mask and Nomicon
And then pick the next Ninja before something else happens
Howard has no idea what Randy’s talking about, but luckily, he happens to know BOTH a Cloth Mage and Grimoire Specialist from his YouTube career AND their in San Fransokyo
Dipper and Mabel Pines are at SFIT and SFAI respectively, and are stoked to working with such cool artifacts (and also appalled that someone would damage tham so badly)
After a two weeks (as well as a few liter of Randy’s blood and half of Mabel’s demon-fiber cloth and enchanted silk) the mask is repaired
The Nomicon however, while physically fine, is still acting up. Dripping ink has been happening at random and information is missing from the tornout pages, including the the Earth Attack,
Dipper has a theory as to what’s going on, but he’ll need the other pages to confirm it as well as repair it
Randy goes back to Norrisville and defeats the Latest Ninja, retrieving the other half of the mask as well as most of the missing pages.
Seeing as the Ultimate Lesson page is still missing, Randy was trying to figure out how to mind wipe Drake when the Ex-Ninja ran off, vowing that he’ll get his mask back if it kills him (Him being Randy, not Drake)
Randy goes back to the Pines twins with the missing pages and other half of the mask, and Dipper’s theory is confirmed
The Nomicon, after taking the torn pages, creates a second Nomicon, a little bit smaller but otherwise identical
Mabel, now that she knows what she’s doing, creates a second mask with the remainder of the left over materials.
Dipper, checks to find that the Nomicon had in fact replicated itself from the damages. He compares it to how the body replicates identical cells when you get a cut to repair the wound
All Randy knows is that now he’s got the stressful task of picking the next Ninja within a month. He’s seen how it can go wrong.
After a month of observation and some consultation from the Nomicon, he deems the best choice of the future freshman to be Ojaswitha Mahto.
Getting her the Ninja Box was the hardest part, not because he couldn’t sneak into her room, but because he HAD to sneak into a 14 year old girl's room. He was NOT comfortable with that, but he couldn’t figure out how else to ensure no one else got the new Ninja Mask and Nomicon.
He returns back to San Fransokyo to find himself having to stop any Interdeminsional portal attempts ranging from Krei’s Silent Sparrow project to fighting Crice to actually befriending one of the new supers Voyd to having to sabotage Varian’s final thesis.
The last one is a bit of a doozy.
Additionally, the Nomicons both send their Ninja wielders to the same NomiSpace or the Realm of the Nomicon.
Meaning that if Ojaswitha needs guidance/ back up from someone besides the Nomicon, she’s able to contact Randy.
The Nomicon will also contact the senior ninja if it senses that Ojaswtiha will need aid.
Gave Randy a freaking heart attack seeing a modern person in the Nomicon
They see eachother in their Ninja suits, so Ojaswitha doesn’t know who Randy is
Though she is a big fan of his work
He thinks this is hilarious once he’d found out
Drake, being the little Sherlock he is, is trying to identify the Ninja to get the Mask back,
Charming and sophisticated, he slowly eliminates possible candidates.
All he needs to do to get his mask back is to show the Ninja the Ultimate Lesson page.
ROUGH Idea of what’s gonna go down. Things may change.

family.
[A/N: E. this is the nhs family day au thing,, i actually like it wow-]
"Ugh, family day. Stupid 'Family Bonding' day," the puple-haired teen mumbled, cleaning up his room. The same thing every year, Norrisville High had a 'Family Bonding' day where the students are supposed to bring at least one person from their family to school and apparently, bond. Howard said there was a bazaar, lots of games, and many yummy food. Randy didn't know, because he never participated. His dad divorced with his mom, and his mom is too busy working, that he never joined.
He always wanted to, he admitted. Randy wanted a time with his family, but he drifted apart from his mom and lost contact with his dad. The teen imagined laughing with his parents, playing ring-toss and winning prizes. He imagined himself eating cotton candy and making funny faces with his parents in the photo booth. He wanted to have fun and 'bond', as the school said it, and have the brucest day of the year. But, no. Randy was the only child of two adults, adults that Randy barely even talk to these days.
"Never once have I even joined, because of some stupid business mom always does," the boy grumbled to himself, taking his books away for tomorrow is Saturday. In worse cases, Randy would think that his mom was just avoiding him. He hated Family Bonding Day. He hated not being there. He hated not having fun. He hated not having a proper, fun and close family. To be honest, Randy didn't know if it was illegal to come in without a family, yet he was too embarrassed to try. He didn't want to be known as 'the shoob with no parents' cause that's how sad being a freshman is. Once you got a name, there is no coming back.
Done cleaning up with his bits and bobs, he grabbed the Nomicon and put it by his table, having a kind of feeling that the book was listening, but Randy shrugged the thought off and sighed. "Welp, another Family day, another full-day of playing Grave Puncher in my underwear, I guess," the teen begrudgingly went up to the top bunk and rested his eyes.
-- + --
"Wake up, ninja," a stern, yet soothing, voice called onto Randy. "We are going to be late." It took a while for the newly woken up boy to register the sound. Then it occurred to him, the source of the voice was from his own mentor, Nomi. The teen groaned and sat up, rubbing his eyes. He yawned and saw Nomi with her gorgeous red hair in a, surprisingly, modern attire. Her hair was tied in a pony tail, yet some of her hair is still loose. She used a black shirt, with the nomicon pattern in it, and black pants. She also wore red shoes.
The boy looked over her shoulder and saw Satoru sitting on his sofa, resting his head and closed his eyes. He used a ponytail for his hair, red shirt with a Norisu Nine symbol and black pants. The First Ninja peeked his eyes opened for a bit and saw Randy awake, stretching his arm and walked over to the boy. "Come on, get ready. We are going to walk there soon," he urged, the boy nodding in response and quickly got ready.
Up in his normal clothes, the three went outside Randy's house and walked. The siblings talked and laughed as the boy silently listening, excited, yet curious, of where they were going. "Hey guyss, it'll be bruce if you tell me where we're going. Ooh! Training maybe? What am I going to learn today?" the teen asked the adults. "You will know when we will get there," Nomi answered smiling, which triggered Randy's curiosity even more. The boy fake-pouted as Satoru chuckled by his side. This'll be interesting.
All Randy knew was that they were heading uptown, where the malls, McFist Industry, Norrisville High, and other McStores lie. Maybe they were heading to the park? Oh! Maybe they're gonna shop together? The boy thought hard, wanting to know where they were going. It was rare for the two to spring out of the Nomicon, so maybe this is an emergency of some sort, where they have to train and teach Randy new stuff. It was exciting.
But when the teen got there it wasn't what he was expecting.
-- + --
To say he was surprised was an understatement, Randy was filled with a few feelings. Shock, curiosity, confusion, and posibly... happiness? It was mixed up and the boy didn't know what to expect. He was in front of the school. On Family Day. Without a family. Well, the last one was debatable, the two adults beside him we're like family to him, closer than his bond with his own mom. Which isn't supposed to be a good thing, Randy guessed.
"Why... are we here?" the boy asked, looking at the blue and yellow banners all over the place. The ribbon on the school were put up high, with the writings "HELLO PARENTS, WELCOME TO FAMILY BONDING DAY!!" written messily by one of the students using yellow paint. The outside was full of people, from adults to their children, from the teachers to the other staff. The place looked fun and cheerful, like there isn't a prison of an ancient evil sorcerer under it ('Which would be great if it wasn't literal,' Randy thought).
"Nomi overheard your predicament, so we thought it would be... bruce if you could come here," Satoru answered, the red head nodded. "But my parents aren't here and..." Randy said, not yet catching on the wind. The two raised their eye brows. 'Oh,' the boy realized. "You two are..." he tried to say.
Tears started swelling up in his eyes, but the others didn't notice. They were too busy looking at the well-decorated school, and Randy could appreciate that. Despite feeling the nerve to break down and say thank you in front of everyone, he decided that the best way to cherish the day is by giving the not-from-the-present sibling the best time of their 800 year-old life. But he couldn't stop the urge to hug the two, and so he did.
It took a while for Satoru and Nomi to register what the juice happened, but returned the hug and embrace the boy. Excitedly, Randy dragged the two past-ninjas inside, past the crowded place. The boy looked overjoyed and is jumping everywhere like an excited puppy, pointing everywhere and listing the things he wanted to do. For the two siblings though, it was a new sight.
They never saw most events that happened in the school from a book, mind you, so they were fascinated, but the two kept cool. "Not like the last time we visited eh, brother?" Nomi smiled and Satoru nodded. To be honest, Nomi was as interesting as her brother. Hidden well, she was amused at how far humanity came from her time.
"Randy! You're here?" a voice, the purple-haired teen recognize everywhere, called from wherever, running and panting towards him. "But I thought you... you know." Randy understood the silent phrase. 'Don't want to be seen without a parent'. The lanky teen just shrugged and answered with a simple "Yeah."
"Ah, Wienerman, such a wonderful time to meet again," Satoru greeted from behind, with Nomi came with a bit of resentment. The girl do not like Howard. He was selfish, mean, and overall not a good friend, but Randy needed his bro, and Nomi could understand that. But still, that doesn't mean she liked him and the feeling was mutual.
Satoru, on the other hand, liked (liked, mind you) that Wienerman kid. His friendship with Randy reminded him of his own with Plop Plop, and that was nice to see. Nomi didn't know what her brother saw on the orange-haired boy, but decided not to ask. Howard saw the two and gasped for a while, and Randy sheepishly smiled. "Yeah, they're posing as family," the tall teen confirmed.
"Well, bruce to see you again, First Ninj," Howard greeted back, grinning. He always liked the First Ninja and Plop Plop, they were cool, especially when the two teen went back in time. "Please, call me Satoru. Satoru Norisawa," the ninja replied. Nomi joined them, Randy winced a bit. He knew their resentment and that they would never get along. Howard addressed the redhead with a simple "You."
Nomi didn't answer nor greeted the boy, they just stared at each other, and Randy wondered which one hated the other more. It was a bit too intense for the teen's comfort, and Satoru catched his discomfort. "Nomi..." her brother started. "Howie! There you are!" someone called from behind, stopping Howard from his glaring contest.
"Randy! Great to see you here!" Howard's dad, Mort Wienerman, came. He later acknowledged the two adults and smiled, though he looked sort of confused. "And you must be Randy's..." he reached his hand for a shake, but he couldnt finish the statement. "Family," the teen answered simply. And he wasn't lying. "Nomi Norisawa, and my brother, Satoru," Nomi introduced, shaking the other's hand. "Mort Wienerman, family from Japan?" Howard's dad asked. Randy took this one, "Yeah, you could say that."
Nomi inspected the man in front of her, and concluded that this is Howard's father. Behind him, a girl with the same fantastic orange shade of hair walked towards them. "Nice to see that Randall can make it, for once," the female said, not looking up from her phone ("It's Randy! It's always been Randy!"). "I'm going to get some food, see you later," the man informed them. "Dad, can I stay with Cunningham?" Howard asked, and Mort nodded.
"So what do we start with first? I'm leaning to food, but I'm also thinking about games," Randy started, walking with the group. He wanted the two ninjas to have a time of their life, and he needed to be good. "I vote food," Howard said. "Of course you do. How about you two?" the lanky teen asked. "We have never been here, do you not remember?" Satoru answered, his hands crossed behind him, looking at the long food stands and games.
"Right. We're going to the game section!" Randy announced like a pirate captain and pointed, walking towards the games.
-- + --
"Haha! You are going to lose, dear brother!" Nomi exclaimed to his brother, the two playing skeeball. Randy laughed and watched with fascination. "Not if I beat you first, dearest Nomi," Satoru shot back, focusing on the game. The purple-haired teen didn't know if it was the "800 year old ninja knowledge" thing or that they practiced (which is unlikely...) but the two we're super skilled and evenly matched, both of them hitting the bullseye with every ball they had.
The game keeper watched with wide eyes, and others started coming, too. They watched the two spar it out in the game, as the two focused on the hole. The siblings finally stopped when they have no more balls, and deemed themselves the winner. There was a competitive glare between the Norisawas for a while, but it boiled down into laughter and enjoyment. Randy loved every second of it.
Randy loved they way they were just... here. Wow, even his mortal, easier-to-be-here mom couldn't be in this spot right now, yet two from-the-past siblings managed to be there. For him. The teen loved the way they would laugh together and take care of him, occasionally being an 'actual' parent just for him to be safe. He love the way they were open and fun, and would do anything to make Randy happy. He just loved them. They were like his own parent figure. Like a family.
Nomi's giggles and Satoru's chuckling filled Randy's heart with joy, and they decided to buy some food. The two never tried 'modern' food before, and for that reason, the teen wanted to pick the best food for them. "So Howard, name the best food here," he whispered to his biffer, who was munching on some chips. "Well, Cunningham. I think I would choose corndogs, then top it off with some cotton candy," the short boy answered, cheese from the chips smeared his mouth.
And so he did. The freshman bought some corndogs and shared them with his best friend and, admittedly, his family. They were peacefully laughing, when a giant explosion can be heard. "Seriously? We we're having fun and a monster comes?" Randy mumbled under his breath. "Go, Ninja. We will be here if you need help," Satoru assured. The teen nodded and ran to the restroom, leaving his teachers and biffer alone.
The boy used his mask, flashing lights and black ribbons covered him. After all the lightshow was done, he ran out of the stall and smoke-bombed his way in. "Smoke bomb! Hey, monster! Seriously!? On Family Day?! Who would even-" before he could finished his sentence, the stanked one attacked. The 'corrupted' one looked different, it was too robotic for a human, but too emotional for a robot. The Ninja remembered fighting a staked Viceroy creation, but this wasn't the same.
It's eyes stared into Randy, causing uneasiness. The teen didn't know how or why this one got stanked, but the fight sure wasn't easy. And yet, something about its... shape is recognizable. The creature had a bull's head and a human body, not a very good look on anyone, to be honest. The boy racked up his name, thinking about his classes. It was hard, since he zoned out most of his scholar studies. Then he realized.
"You're a, um, Minator? How do you say it's shoob name... Oh yeah, uh, Minotaur!" the Ninja shouted it's name. 'Names have power,' he recalled from a movie. Randy heard about this nasty piece of work, actually, he heard of the actual one not a half robotic one. Apparently, some lady from Ancient Greece decided it was a great idea to make a child with a bull. A honkin' bull. The boy remembered a few parts of the story, when explained in his history class (talking about Greece and its lush mythology), and remembered the hero Theseus.
But he wasn't fighting just any Minatour shaped robot. He was fighting a stanked one, and those are bad news.
Not looking at the Minotaur coming towards him full speed after a fun, and totally not destructive, rampage around the school, all Randy can remember was flying. It would've been great if it wasn't a dream, yet it wasn't, and the Ninja is plunging in super speed into his death. But he didn't feel the ground. Which is weird, maybe he died? "Got you, Ninja," Satoru's voice called from behind the mask.
The teen opened his eyes and stood up, watching the scenes. There were quick movements here and there, the robot getting slashed slowly and steadily, but the creature wouldn't go down that easily. Gradually, it rose up, dodging Nomi's (now in a mask) attacks and charging on the girl. She was growing restless and retreated, then united with the male ninjas.
"This creature... cannot be fought alone," the girl summarized. They planned an ambush and charged, grabbing their katanas and other weapons. Skilled in hand-in-hand combat, Satoru grabbed a katana. More skilled in ranged attacks, Nomi pulled out a bow and arrow (which isn't very ninja-y you might think but holy cheese she's good). Skilled in a more street fighting type of combat, Randy grabbed a stick (or a pole? The teen called it the "Ninja Smacking Stick!").
They fought and fought, slashed and slashed, stabbed and stabbed. Randy kept calling the bull names (his mouth can be as demonic as the Tengu, I swear to the Norisu Nine-). But nothing seems to work. Until, Satoru stabbed it's heart. "When a great warrior strikes you down, it would be best to stay down," Satoru quipped.
Maybe he already figured out where the stanking was or he just accidentally did it, green smoke left the robotic body and went underground, back to the Sorcerer. The three smoke-bombed away and appeared in the field with their normal clothes. Some witnesses said that they saw three warriors. Howard caught up with them and said, "Oh Cunningham! You should've seen the bull-thingy's face when you called him names!" Nomi thought it would be more suitable if he asked if Randy was okay, but then again, this is Howard we're talking about.
Howard needed to go, and Nomi hid her relief. She couldn't stand any more seconds with the short boy and would've already strangled him if he wasn't Randy's friend. The purple-haired teen decided to go to the photobooth and take some pictures together. Free of any worry, they made funny faces and shit-eating grins, ended up laughing together. It was getting dark, and the bazaar/carnival sort of thing is destroyed anyway, so they decided to go home. Watching the sunset, Randy appreciated the moment, though there was a feeling of guilt.
"Hey, guys? Thank you for bringing me here and sorry for not being able to kill the robot alone. I shoobed this day for you all didn't I?" the boy hung his head low. He didn't see the head shakes and the smiles. "When a Ninja needs help, he can always ask for help," Nomi said softly. "It was, with no doubt, one of the best things that happened in the 800 years. It was very... bruce," Satoru smiled. The teen couldn't help but to grin.
Randy loved today. He smelled the fragrance of the flowers blooming as they walked home, calmly talking to his two mentors. Mentors that became family, not since today, but the teen felt they were family from the first. What did he learn today, Randy didn't know. But one thing's for sure: he has a family. He has a great best friend. He has an amazing job. What else can he ask for?
