The 80's made the veteran musicians sound unreal. Of course, an appropriate question here would be – did they change with the times and did the times change them? Heart, for instance, became one of these 80's rock behemoths thanks to their soundscapes that felt like a simulation of rock done by an algorithm. While their work then gave them the biggest successes of their career, they also seemed a bit lost within the scene thanks to their polished versions of stadium bangers. However, you notice a bravery in this approach of theirs, since the group went full in. One of their greatest hits finds them doing a maximalist power ballad, but I must admit they could go even further. Somehow I wish they would have met Jim Steinman to collaborate with them after hearing this tune.

Heart is an American rock band with sisters Ann Wilson (lead vocals, flute and guitar) and Nancy Wilson (guitar, mandolin and vocals) being the constant center of the group since 1973. The band rose to fame in the mid-1970s with music influenced by hard rock, heavy metal, and folk music.
