He’ll just get frustrated with it and pick it up and put it there himself. And Eggman, we already know he’s certified. KYLE: Yes. Omi gets easily distracted while driving and Kimiko experiences terrible road rage, so neither of them are allowed behind the wheel anymore

Clay is technically the best driver on the team, and he's even forklift certified and used to driving things like tractors. He doesn't like the feel of most motorized vehicles though, and vastly prefers the feel of riding something alive like a horse or a dragon, or at least animal-like, like the crouching cougar

Plus, Clay drives responsibly and slowly, in a way that Kimiko and Rai have compared to how an old lady would drive, and in a way that's not really suited for high-speed chases missions often demand

And thus, the monk's usual designated driver is Raimundo by default

...That is, whenever it's not Dojo, the licensed pilot

how do you feel about book binds of your fic?

i definitely trust you with forklifts infact you are certified in all commercial vehicles. to me

I'm also licensed to drive many commercial vehicles in the state of [STATE]. I've never taken a driver's test. I can't drive.

And I feel very positively about bookbinds! @bobafett did an amazing bind of one of my Star Wars fics (Brag, man!), and I love holding it in my hands. I felt like an EU writer. If you do it, just be sure to send me progress pics! (And like credit me and DO NOT SELL IT and etc etc).

🚗 CAR — does your oc have a driver's license? can they drive/operate any automobiles/machinery besides cars?

He can drive + has a license, I like to imagine he got it pretty young, maybe around 17 :] he always liked to imagine one day he’d get in his car and just drive as far away from Bright Falls as possible. That never happened.

I don’t think he can operate anything other than a car tbh. It’d be funny if he was forklift certified idk when that would happen but I can see it

💤 SLEEPING SIGN — is your oc a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? how are their sleeping habits?

Light sleeper. His sleep could be a lot better, to be honest. He doesn’t sleep as often as he should, and when he does, he’s easy to wake. He tends to be on guard a lot, even when he doesn’t need to be. Force of habit. When he’s out hunting for Taken in Cauldron Lake, he doesn’t sleep. If he does, he makes sure it’s during daylight hours.

🐷 PIG FACE — what is your oc's favorite animal?

He’s a dog guy I think…… but more specifically I can see him really liking wolves :] follows a bunch of wolf conservation accounts on social media. This definitely extends back to his childhood too I think. I just know he had a shelf of wolf plushies

💛 YELLOW HEART — how many languages does your oc speak? what language(s) are they learning, if any?

English and Finnish! He’s fluent in both, but he would consider english to be his first language. He’s always been interested in learning ASL, too.

🥯 BAGEL — what does your oc's typical breakfast look like? do they usually eat breakfast?

Cigarette and coffee <3 but for real, he’s not much of a breakfast person. His breakfasts, when he has them, are quick and low effort.

A bit of both? He won't say no to a plan if someone has something laid out, and he appreciates structure where he can find it, but most of what he does is simply going with the flow.

nathan has a driver's license and he is very good at driving too! but also he is insane on the road and he has very little to live for so if you cut him off in traffic or bother him in any way he can and will kill you both. he will get in a car crash just to prove a point if his buttons have been pushed too much

he's technically also forklift certified since he had to do the training to be allowed to work in mobius' warehouses :]

📚 BOOKS — what level of education has your oc most recently completed/is currently in (GED, undergraduate, grad school, phd, etc)?

nathan dropped out of high school after killing his parents at age 16 and was dragged into mobius instead, leaving him without a high school diploma. this however doesn't mean much since he did continue learning and teaching himself many things after dropping out, including many coding languages, and a lot more math, science, physics, and biology. all of this was necessary for him to eventually become lead developer of mobius' improved STEM device

🐈 CAT — does your oc prefer a wide circle of friends or a few close friends?

for the longest time, nathan didn't really think he had any friends, not seeing himself as worthy enough and thinking people generally disliked him. nowadays he's a lot more aware that people do in fact like him and his company and he's allowing people in more, but still prefers to have only a select few friends; he needs to be able to trust people which is very difficult for him to begin with, so warming up to others takes very long for him and to be able to call someone his friend is a very very big step for him

💚 GREEN HEART — does your oc prefer being inside or outside?

nathan generally prefers being inside but specifically just his apartment. the outside world is often too overwhelming for him and he hates having to expose himself to it; but at the same time he really likes being out with friends, visiting their places, going out for food, hanging out in the park, etc etc. it's difficult for him to push himself far enough to do all those things, but he generally feels a lot better having done that than staying at home all day

💙 BLUE HEART — does your oc have any cool/special powers and/or abilities? how are they with magic, if it exists in their world?

so as established in the games, certain individuals are able to control and manipulate the environment within a STEM environment (if you're not familar with the games it's essentially a sort of dream-like experience with minds of people linked together; a multiplayer dream within someone's mind if you will). it's essentially corruption of the technology allowing these people to gain special powers; but it doesn't happen to everyone, since the natural erosion process of the mind mostly just turns people into zombie-like creatures in there

nathan is one of the people to get special abilities from it however, but he is VERY good at masking it and generally doesn't use these powers because he doesn't want to let himself turn into a monster like what STEM did to ruvik, or stefano, or theodore, or myra. if he WERE to use his powers more however, they would mostly give him super strength and the ability to teleport forward in short bursts. he wouldn't turn into some sort of super monster like how myra turns into the matriarch in tew2 (google it, the design is AMAZING) but instead would remain very close to how he is in combat when he IS in control of himself, but he's just a lot more insane about it, which is very close to his fear of himself becoming a mindless killing machine in real life as well because of spiraling too much

Surprisingly, the only oc of mine to not know how to drive is Hunter. With how he grew up, it just wasn't necessary for him to learn! The rest of them aren't licensed in any other machinery. Though in my heart Emil is forklift certified

June is a homebody to the fullest extent of the word. Living in a town full of tourist traps, she gets turned off from advertisements telling her to go to similar locations.

Carolyn's favorite hobbies include: Fishing, gardening, and writing poetry! She's a lot more shy about her writing compared to her other hobbies though!

Emil has had a couple of tattoos done! One is a small stick n poke from his teens, a very cliche broken heart on his left wrist. The other one was actually done in a tattoo parlor; a green 1-up mushroom from the Mario franchise on the right side of his chest

Whereas Maggie and Hunter couldn't finish college, Carolyn and June are the ones with degrees.

Carolyn has a bachelor's degree in fine arts and June has a DNP, which is a doctorate that would allow her to practice nursing!

When Maggie was younger, she used to play the acoustic guitar as a hobby. Very intermediate player. Though as she grew up, she eventually stopped practicing and abandoned the instrument altogether. If she went up to the attic to retrieve it, she could probably only play a scale and that's it.

No brainer, but Hunter adores swimming. He played in competitively throughout highschool and college!

Oh just about all of them know how to use a weapon (with the exception of Carolyn. She's more of a pepper spray and run kind of girl). Though if we want any specifics on their preferred weapon: Maggie has a baseball bat, Emil uses his grandfather's pocket knife, Hunter uses a pair of scissors, and June keeps a shotgun and an axe in her home.

Maggie has been a chainsmoker since she was 13/14. A bad habit her mother instilled in her. Although she's loosened up over the years, she tends to have a cigarette when she's feeling nervous.

Emil has his hands in his pockets at all times. Loves to fiddle and play with the loose change in his pockets, sometimes when he's bored he likes to fidget with his pocket knife.

Oh June and Maggie can be the worst when dealing with stress. Magnolia tends to just break down and cry, where June is explosive and snappy at times.

Gw2 canon not entirely sure you need any license.. but he does know how to ride and handle the typical raptor and jackal-esque mounts, he's not touching that flying shit. He's likely been in a tank a couple of times as well and if it ever came down to it he could figure out how to drive it on the fly but again, not touching that flying shit (airships)

Modern AU he does have a driver's license and knows how to both drive a car and a bike, he has a beat-up car he bought from a used yard but it's well taken care of. With all the odd jobs he takes on he knows how operate other machinery as well like forklifts and so on but that doesn't mean he has a license (tfw your cringe fail boyfriend isn't forklift certified)

✈️ AIRPLANE — does your oc like traveling, or do they consider themselves a more homey person?

He's definitely more of the traveling type, not necessarily because he likes traveling but he's just always on the go and he's accommodating enough that he can temporarily settle anywhere. Both in gw2 canon and modern au he has a little apartment which he goes back to often enough but y'know. Given the chance he could be pretty homey but especially in canon... world to save, necromancers with no self preservation to bodyguard.

I'm always so bad with thesefhsklskdf traits are just a soup of personality I don't know, but uhm. Despite his typical mercenary persona he is very kind and generous and will go out it his way to make people feel at ease

He does tend to be... somewhat disingenuous, he's pleasant sure but that doesn't mean he's always expressing how he feels 🌚 typical jokester keeping all that shit close to his chest

He also tends to be really stubborn, if he puts his mind to something he's going to see it through, even to his own determent.

And third uuuuh does killing people count?

He does know cpr! He has at least a basic knowledge of emergency procedures to at least stabilize someone until an actual healer comes about and again, has a basic knowledge of patching someone up, he definitely wouldn't call himself a healer (though he's been getting that practice in with Siyvhe smh)

Unsure of the actual MBTI personality stuff, but Mica is more introverted than extroverted. She can handle being in a room with a bunch of people and can interact with them if need be, and isn’t afraid of talking first or talking loud. She’s not shy at all. But given the chance, she’d much rather keep to herself.

🚗 CAR — does your oc have a driver's license? can they drive/operate any automobiles/machinery besides cars?

She knows how to drive, but all her drivers licenses are fake. She also knows how to drive a motorcycle. Could possibly be forklift certified if you gave her a week to read up on it.

✈️ AIRPLANE — does your oc like traveling, or do they consider themselves a more homey person?

Mica doesn’t have an opinion on traveling since it comes with being a hunter. Traveling to different dimensions is another story; she fucking hates it.

Playing video games, scrapbooking, pool. All great ways to unwind.

No and she doesn’t want any.

She used to have an anti-possession tattoo but it got burned off. She might want a new one later on, post-possession, but she really doesn’t see the point in getting tattoos considering how scarred her body is.

Mica never really went to high school, she has a middle school education at best. That doesn’t mean she’s not smart - she does in fact read and is actually good at history and languages. Science was never her strong suit and advanced math is something she’s never going to grasp. She may never try to attempt any sort of schooling, she’s content knowing what she knows. 

🎻 VIOLIN — does your oc play any instruments? what is their skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced/virtuoso/etc)?

She sings, and rarely at that. She doesn’t know how to work any instrument.

🩹 ADHESIVE BANDAGE — does your oc have any physical and/or mental disabilities?

Mentally, a lot. Insomnia and PTSD, to name just two. Physically, post-possession she starts developing rapid nerve degeneration due to all the damage her body has suffered throughout her life. While angel magic slows it down, she goes from walking with a cane to a walker to using a wheelchair to being bed-bound over the next 20-30 years.

Mica finds out that she’s B+ post-possession!

Mica’s pretty into grunge/alt-rock but does find joy in other music types as well. Her favorite bands/artists are Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Skillet, Halsey, Hozier, and Lady Gaga

She’ll never say this out loud but she’s very self conscious about all of her scars. It’s why she doesn’t wear revealing clothes; she’s only recently started wearing short sleeves around the house and outside.

Mica loves animals, especially horses. If she’d been allowed to be a normal kid, she would’ve been a horse girl, and likely would have pursued some sort of occupation where she got to interact with them daily.

She was going to be an older sister.

She can probably figure out how to use any weapon. She prefers her to scythe to even her guns.

Mica knows cpr and the basics of dealing with cuts and bullet wounds. Anything more than that and she can’t help you.

Drinks, but does so less now that there’s kids in the house. Stops completely post-possession. Never smoked and never will, thinks it’s gross.

monroe got his license as soon as he could, when he was around 17, with encouragement and help from his older brother. his first car was something really dinky and kind of shitty, but it was cheap and it was his, and he loved it. it was unfortunately a causality of RC. I can honestly see him being forklift certified LMAO mainly because I think its funny but also he's had a LOT of jobs over the years

he's had basic firearm training thanks to chris, after they reunited post RC incident, and he's also taken himself to the gun range a good few times, to keep himself sharp, just incase. he's not awful with a gun, but he hates using them. when RC happened, his main weapon of choice was a pipe, which thankfully, didn't require much training to use.

it's taken him a long time to realise this, but the most important thing to him is the life he has now. the freedom and relative safety and happiness. recently, he's felt like he's taken his life for granted, so he's been trying to be more grateful for all he has now that he thought he never would have. the most important person to him in the world is Merel, without a doubt. he would do anything for her, and he would go through it all again in the blink of an eye.

he likes fast food. its his kryptonite. it's mostly habit — he's spent a lot of time depressed and not taking the best care of himself, and fast food is the easiest way to keep himself fed. the thing is, he's a pretty decent cook and an even better baker, but he doesn't often have the energy to make big, homemade meals.
