I genuinely feel like we could have gotten so much character development from the lightfury in the homecoming short. We see by the end of the movie she's coming around to Hiccup, why not expand on that. Why not have her take a trip to spy on the humans to understand WHY her mate is sad. Like seeing her bond or at least come to understand the bond better would have been satisfying. Instead, we get the same character from the beginning of the movie. Wasted potential in my opinion

Eira's main creative inspirations were Chel from The Road to El Dorado, Tinkerbell and Halle Bailey's version of Ariel.

Eira doesn't have a 'real' last name, but if she had one it would be 'Gobbersdottir'

Snotlout and Eira did NOT get along at first. At all.

Eira doesn't like having her hair unbraided because it gets tangled easily.

I hate that we never heard Astrid tell Hiccup 'I love you'. I was fully expecting her to tell him she loved him back in rtte 6x06 after he told her he loved her... but she didn't. Like they really made an entire episode about Astrid wanting a more lovely dovey relationship but then she never even said 'I love you' in the episode?? And Astrid has so many inspiring and loving speeches to Hiccup but I wish there was an 'I love you' included in at least one of them

I was watching a few teaser trailers and I’m thinking, "this movie is either going to be a dysfunctional dumpster fire, or it’s going to make live action history and actually have meaning”. I’m watching the set frames and I’m thinking "this is good. Life like, Viking, Nortically calming”. But I’m listening to the choice of music and now I’m freaking the fuck out. WHAT THE FUCK WILL THE SOUNDTRACK BE?! This was about obviously AI music used because it was a teaser, but if come to find out that they make a whole new soundtrack for this attempt of making Last Airbender seem like a good guy, then I will make the phone call.

Listen, you don’t need a dragon to use the flight suit, you just need to be up high, like on a cliff, so imagine Dadcup still has the flight suit and one day is like “wouldn’t it be fun surprising Zephyr and Nuffink by flying through the air in front of them” so he does it and of course he effortlessly scares the ever living crap out of those poor children
