Okay, but I would legitimately like to do a character analysis of Jimmy Kurosaki and see what bullshit I can pull out my ass from his practically zero seconds screen time.

(Overlooked Aspects Of) Cater Diamond
Tumblr media
Okay, so to start off, this post is not intended to judge anyone. All headcannons of Cater are completely valid, and I would not only not mind - but also actively appreciate - if someone wanted to make corrections or arguments in reblogs or comments. This is just an analysis of parts of Cater that I believe are not given much focus, and would therefore like to highlight. With that being said:
Cater Diamond is a very complex character beneath the surface of a friendly, Magicam-obsessed senior. Definitely more to him than meets the eye. There's obviously the fact that he's certainly not as happy as he claims to be, but less frequently mentioned is the reason why.
Cater's Lab Vignette introduces this aspect of Cater's character, with the storyline of him making mandrakes with Lilia and Vil. The mandrakes are said to reflect the traits of the person infusing magic into it, and Cater's-
Vil: Oh, dear... This mandrake's hugging its knees and huddling in place.
Cater's also mentioned to make a bunch of mandrakes and hide the ones that don't fit the happy 'Cay-Cay' image. In a way, this is also an analogy for himself, hiding the parts of himself that don't seem perfectly upbeat from others.
Now, why exactly does he behave this way? The most common answer is usually that his sisters forced him to conform to their standards of cuteness, and that in pleasing them, he developed his current facades of a perfectly cute and happy senior. And although his sisters likely did play a part in it, there's also another reason for the distance he puts between himself and others.
In Cater's Halloween Vignette, he mentions the following:
Cater: I guess I have a wide circle of contacts, sure. My dad works at a bank that has branches all around the world, so every time he was transferred to a new office, the whole family went with him. We moved about once every two years. I'm a real pro at packing by now, lemme tell you. ... Cater: But for all the people I met, one thing never changed( ...) I would always leave, and they would always stay. That's why I always tried to be on good terms with everyone, rather than forge strong bonds with a chosen few. Like a circus performer who has a grand old time with people from around the world, and then packs up and moves on. In that sense, Magicam's been seriously great because I can get messages from people I knew at school three years ago. I can have all the casual connections I can handle. And that's just my speed, right?
Essentially: Cater's moved so often that he's adapted to forming shallow connections with everyone he can rather than actually trying to bond with him. He wants casual connections, because that's what he can handle. He views people rather impersonally, because he knows that he'll have to leave them eventually.
And that's likely a major reason for the facade he puts up. He's afraid of being vulnerable. Of forming a bond with someone and getting attached, only to have to leave them behind eventually. "Cay-Cay" the agreeable senior is a tool to form these casual little connections and play nice without getting attached, so that, when he inevitably has to leave, he doesn't get his heart broken.
This also leads to and explains another aspect of Cater's character: His occasionally questionable morality.
Cater had frequently displayed a willingness to trick people into doing his bidding. Not evil, by any means, but still questionable. There's obviously his introduction in Book 1, where he straight-up tricks Ace and Deuce into doing his work for him, and there's also scenes like Jade mentioning he'd like to have Cater as an older brother, one of the reasons being-
Jade: ...His ability to collect and disseminate information on Magicam is mind-boggling.
Basically, Cater is willing to use other people to do his bidding, and part of this stems from the fact that he's always keeping them at an arms' distance. You know, nothing personal, bud, just how the world works.
Anyways, in short, a large part of Cater's facade is caused by a fear of vulnerability stemming from the lack of permanence in his life, and that also affects his willingness to use other people.
With that being said, one final thing. The fic that inspired me to put all these thoughts about Cater together into one post. Its take on Cater's family is super refreshing!

Just saw gifs of the variant’s outfit in the finale.. day = ruined. Please it’s so ugly and I hate the reasoning behind it so badly they’re always trying to strip Loki of who he is and it’s so sad like so what if he wants to wear the attire of his home realm where he is also royalty mind you 😞 now I have to go on a rant..
Not only was he stripped of his personality but also of anything that represented him. How anyone who claims to love Loki can tolerate this series, I have no idea. It was written by people who do not like Loki, or his fans. Like okay so the diminishing of Loki’s character is alright just because they put a scene of him crying for one episode while also skipping over the major event he previously went through to go on and talk about other characters and their struggles oh don’t piss me off.
The whole concept fucking pisses me off from the get go. I do not care about an alternate version of Loki. I think series fans fail to realize that our dislike of the series does not only lie with the mischaracterization. It also lies with the entire concept of the series. Loki had already existed for a decade before the series came out, and his own story was left unfinished. Why would I care about an alternate version of him from the Avengers (immediately before he was able to go through his most important character development in TDW btw) when he couldn’t even be written consistently after 2013?
Loki fan to Loki “fan”, I don’t care how much merch you have. I don’t care if you’ve met Tom multiple times. I don’t care if you’ve watched the movies (but I mean if they actually did, I figure something would click eventually) every single day. If you truly believe that the series did justice to Loki’s character as well as respected the previous writer’s work that implemented and laid down the definitive traits and aspects of his character for years only for them to get overlooked and completely erased in a few episodes a decade later, you do not love Loki. You are not a fan.
There are so many series diehards that have SO much merch or have met Tom like 30 times and it boggles my mind. Like you don’t even like Loki enough to see the difference of his characterization from 2011 to 2013 (or even fucking Ragnarok at this point. He still had at least a few aspects of who he is in it. I hate to defend it because it did him wrong as well, but I’ve got to be honest) vs in this this garbage ass series that bears his name, but does nothing except diminish it. Why be so invested financially in something you cannot think critically about? How do you not like… sense the difference?
I’ve also met Tom and have a LOT of merch. Is that what makes me a fan? No, Because what makes me a fan is my love for Loki and my dislike of the ignorance towards his character. I’m not saying this towards casual fans who enjoyed the series and bought a funko pop. Like i really don’t give a fuck and I’m not expecting them to know anything about Loki. But I’d expect better from people who claim to be his fans.
In 2021 when the series first came out, I was critical from the beginning. I did not like the concept, and also didn’t really trust marvel with doing anything good with Loki. When I watched that first episode, I just knew it was over from the first few minutes or so. And I was a fairly new fan of Loki!! Like how could anyone accept this bullshit? Also I could’ve swore so many more people disliked it then. I’ll never forget it lol my entire TikTok FYP was just people shitting on the episodes each week. Especially the finale. They were like “yeah guys uh.. Maybe it’ll get better.” Then the finale came out and everyone flipped LOL
I don’t care if people think I’m harsh for saying any of this. You straight up are not a Loki fan if you’re a fan of the series. You like the idea of him maybe, but you don’t like him for who he truly is and that’s sad because neither did the characters around him. Misunderstood in canon as well as by his own “fans” it’s so over.
Oh also notice how series fans pretty much never talk about TDW. They cannot comprehend an MCU project that takes place directly after the Avengers and actually does Loki’s character right. Lmfao.
Loki “fans” if they were forced to actually enjoy his character in canon instead of only in fanon for one second:
Tumblr media
They’d be so surprised that he dares to stick up for himself, and has a fucking personality and motives of his own.

When Anders didn't show up for supper that night, Gale tried not to worry.
Given all that he had been through, Anders needed time to himself, he tried to reason, but it was a futile effort.
He could only pour over scrolls for so long before he went in search for him.
Not that he had to go far.
Anders was still in camp at least, perched on an outcropping of rock that overlooked the nearby lake.
He waved his hand through the air in intricate patterns, and wisps of light burst forth in an array of colors, forming shapes as he willed it.
Before Gale had a chance to announce his presence, Anders angled his head ever so slightly to the side and spoke.
"Surprised it took you this long to come find me," he greeted.
After a split second of hesitation, Gale stepped forward to join him, taking a seat on the rock beside him as silver moonlight shined down on them from above.
"How did you know I was there?" he asked, watching the first wisp dissipate before Anders crafted another.
"I was what my people called a Grey Warden, remember?" he said as way of explanation. "Always had to be alert in case of a random darkspawn attack." His face scrunched up then, nose wrinkled in disdain. "And it always paid to be vigilant in the Circles."
Gale watched him closely, how he steeled himself at the mere mention of the Circles, how guarded his expression became.
It hurt in a way that he had no words for, to hear what he had suffered in that Thedas of his for simply possessing magic.
It was mind-boggling to Gale, the very notion...
In an attempt to turn both of their minds away to less infuriating subjects, Gale nodded at Anders' light display.
"Having fun?" he asked, glad to see it when Anders cracked a smile.
"Yeah, I guess I am," he admitted in a small whisper. "It's calming, you know, to be able to cast for the sake of doing it. To not have to use my magic for battle for once. To not have to hide it for fear of the Templars or the Chantry.
"Maker, I can't even explain to you how happy I am to finally be able to wear robes out in the open again!" Anders laughed, even as his eyes started to glisten with unshed tears. "It might be strange, having to use a source of power other than the Fade, but..."
He trailed off with a shrug, then looked over at Gale, golden brown eyes drinking in the sight of him from head to toe.
Gale shivered when a nightly breeze trailed over him.
Goosebumps spread over his skin like wildfire.
Smirking, Anders leaned in and whispered, "But I had an excellent teacher."
Gale's heart skipped a beat.
"Is that so?" he breathed.
"Mm-hmm..."
Anders' eyes darted down to Gale's lips, and he sank his teeth into his bottom lip.
Gale swallowed thickly in response.
He couldn't help it. He was drawn in like a moth to a flame.
He leaned in closer as well, so close that he could feel Anders' breath upon his lips.
Their noses brushed. They adjusted the angle, but then uncertainty struck Gale at the most inopportune moment.
He averted his eyes with a bashful grin.
"I, uh, ahem." He cleared his throat. "Are we really about to...?"
"To kiss?"
"Uh-huh."
"I don't know," Anders answered. "Are we? Because I'm certainly not opposed."
"Neither am I," Gale said, perhaps a bit too fast, had it been anyone else, "but you deserve a more romantic display, surely!"
"Heh." Anders chucked and shook his head at him in disbelief. "Gale, what could possibly be more romantic than this? Here I am, embracing my freedom with a smart, handsome man such as yourself and getting swept up in the moment under the night sky. Let me spell it out for you: if there was ever a time for you to make your move, then this is it."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Okay, alright. On that note, I must confess," he told him, "that it has been a while since I've been with anyone physically. Turns out, self-imposed isolation isn't exactly conducive to matters of the flesh."
"No matter," Anders said. Reaching out, he grabbed Gale by the fabric of his robes and dragged him forward until their lips were only a hair’s width away. "I have to say it's been a while for me as well. Perhaps this is something we can explore again. Together."
"And Justice?" Gale asked, concerned. "Is he okay with this too?"
"Trust me," Anders said, huffing out a breath of a laugh, "you would know if he had an issue with it. He doesn't." Not now. Not when they had the luxury to focus their attention elsewhere. Not when they didn't have a current cause to consume their days. Anders tightened his grip, pressed himself against him. "Now, kiss me."
"You don't have to tell me twice."
Their lips barely brushed when a voice pierced through the darkness.
"Mr. Dekarios!" Tara called out. "Mr. Dekarios! Where are y— Oh, there you are! And Mr. Anders, too. How delightful!"
They jumped apart, wide-eyed with shock, when their resident tressym made an appearance.
Their faces instantly flooded with warmth, neither of them quite able to meet each other's eyes.
Tara sat down a few feet away, staring at them intently.
"Mr. Dekarios! The gravest emergency has occurred, and I need your immediate assistance." It was then that she sensed the tension between the two, her ears perking up. "Wait! I wasn't interrupting anything, was I?"
"No!" they both answered, but Tara was far from dumb.
"Oh, my! I was, wasn't I? Well, by all means, don't let me interrupt," she said, yet she made no move to leave, watching them as her wings fluttered.
Gale grimaced.
Anders had to slap a hand over his mouth to muffle his giggles, ignoring Gale's glare while he got to his feet.
"Why, Lady Tara, our conversation can surely wait in the face of what sounds like a dire circumstance," Anders said, bowing lightly to her. "May I?"
She tilted her head up and said, "You may."
Anders gathered her into his arms.
"What a gentleman!" she praised as he pet her. "Isn't he such a darling, Mr. Dekarios?"
"Yes, Tara, he is," Gale said, following their lead as he stood up with a groan. "Now, what is this emergency you spoke of?"
"Ah, yes!" She ruffled her feathers. "Sir Astarion left at the most inopportune time to go hunting. Usually, he is up for such a task, but my feathers need preening and my fur needs brushing before I head to bed. It is a task of the utmost importance, you understand."
"But of course," Anders readily agreed. "Let's see to that at once, shall we?"
"Leave it to you to encourage her," Gale sighed.
"Try not to get jealous," Anders teased, leading the way to his tent. "I'll make sure to spare some time for you later. We still have much to discuss, after all."
"That, we do."

last 10 fics—
tagged by @goddesspharo to share the opening lines of my last 10 fics. it boggles the mind that i even have 10 fics published, because i channel the soul of a snail when i write. in reverse chronological order, with a spot of director's commentary:
1. heaven's in your eyes (i'm your national anthem) — the politics au!
Natasha notices his forearms first.
2. love you like a lover should (tell this world you're mine) aka the other fwb fic
Natasha buys the dress not because it looks good on her—though it absolutely does—but because, with its halter neck and the two ties in the back that hide absolutely nothing, it’s the kind of thing that’s designed to look fine on but beg to be taken off.
3. i dreamed you a sin and a lie — you know you're old when you're more compelled by the relationships between adults in an adventure story about teenagers
Do you dream? the boy asks.
4. break my heart, bring it back to life aka the alt pov of the original fwb fic
The texts start at 8:35, arriving in quicker and quicker succession until Jake’s phone is buzzing so violently on his kitchen island that, in his attempt to put whatever god forsaken group chat it is on Do Not Disturb, he forgets to turn on the burner under his cast iron pan.
5. fill this ghost town up with life aka the fwb fic
It starts like most of her bad decisions: tequila shots and nineties pop music so bad that it’s good.
6. you could be the one that i keep
In the morning, Natasha wakes slowly, her awareness filtering in with the gauzy light peeking through her curtains.
7. count my cards, watch them fall — a tumblr ask fill for a heist au, and an exercise in letting the fic take me where it wanted to go. i needed to watch three separate heist movies to get a feel for it and still didn't write the heist!
“You’re overlooking one minor detail,” Hangman says, somehow, suddenly, the voice of reason, even though Bob and Payback are sitting right there, which is when he knows shit has definitely gone sideways.
8. texas man / california sand — cheating and giving y'all a bonus, because these two chapters are separate (but obv very related!) stories in my head.
When Natasha thinks of Texas, she thinks of heat.
Maybe it’s because he grew up with everything he could ever want at his fingertips, but Jake’s never been the jealous type.
9. as high as you can into the wild blue — the first chapter of this fic is probably my favorite thing i've written. i miss the prose i was capable of!!
She spends so much of her time in the sky, forty thousand feet above ground, one thousand miles an hour, looking across the horizon and seeing the world like so few people ever get the chance to, that she forgets at some point how big it is.
10. a million little times
When she asks him, Are you really going to marry Odette?, what she really means, she knows, is Don’t marry Odette.
tagging: anybody and everybody!

i dont really like or care for warriors much anymore, but a lot of this recent discussion surrounding ivypool is making me want to heal my inner child because she was my favorite character. i think people need to step off of ivypool, they hate traumatized women and it shows! "oh ivypool was too mean to her sister" is a valid criticism, because she definitely was, but to claim that she hates dovewing is absolutely insane. she had been forced to witness the horrors during her developmental years and was repeatedly manipulated into believing that dovepaw and everyone else in the clan thought she was inferior to her sister. hawkfrost PURPOSELY helped her build an emotional barrier between herself and the people she cared about so that he could manipulate her further. ivypool definitely loves dovewing, but that trauma doesnt just disappear when you become an adult. its clear that she has a fear of abandonment and is incapable of expressing her emotions, since thats what she was taught from the moment she was a kid! she has every reason to hate tigerheart considering that he joined her in the dark forest and repeatedly mistreated (and groomed, he was a full grown warrior going after a newly made apprentice) dovewing in oots. she has every reason to feel upset and abandoned when dovewing straight up leaves. not because she hates her mind you but because she finds it to be a sense of betrayal, something you WOULDNT feel if you hated someone. i'm pretty sure that fear of abandonment even manifested when she went off to meet tigerheart, as you can read her inner dialogue in oots, and she expressed feeling betrayed and hurt from her sister, because guess what? She loved her but quite literally didnt know how to express it properly! now for the record this isnt me excusing her actions, she did treat dovewing awfully and didnt provide her the support she needed during her pregnancy, and thats not something you can overlook. however to lie and just straight up pretend ivypool's backstory doesnt still impact her today is just mind boggling to me. sometimes symptoms of trauma dont manifest themselves in the best ways and thats something a lot of people here are failing to comprehend.

I don't know which kind of relationship Daemon actually had with Nettles, but im sure he loved her deeply and genuinely, cause when he received the letter claiming Nettles's head, he was on mission to save her from her mad jealous, by now fat depressed wife
Yeah my main problem with this fandom is that they absolutely refuse to acknowledge the fact that Daemon was willing to die in order save Nettles.
It can’t be stressed enough that he did not have to do that.
Nettles offers him next to nothing. Not a crown, an army, or money. Sure she's a dragonrider, but her dragon alone doesn’t do much against the Greens(especially considering she doesn’t have much combat experience nor is she some great strategist).
So sacrificing his life(one of TB's best asset if not the best individual asset) for a poor bastard girl with no family or connections is pretty pointless, but he refuses to abandon her.
Hell, even Lord Moonton knows he isn’t going to abandon her. He knows how much he cares for her. It’s what causes him(Lord Moonton) to fear for his own safety because he knows what he’s willing to ensure Nettles’ safety.
It’s Daemon’s feelings for Nettles that protects her from being murdered in her sleep. It’s all there in black and white. How people overlook that to say Daemon didn’t love her or she meant absolutely nothing to him boggles my mind.
Regardless of whether it was romantic or not(it was, but I’m not getting into that) Daemon did love Nettles(and I’d argue she was the most important person in his life at that time).
Tumblr media
*Note that this is not team-specific because most of you guys act oblivious under the guise of “caring” to downright psycho about Daemon and Nettles’ relationship.

Is Caitlyn Kiramman a Villain in the Show? | Arcane: League of Legends
My focus and fixation once again revolve around Jinx and Caitlyn. They are my so-called imaginary power couple in the messed up world of Arcane. However, hear me out, Cait is not portrayed as a hero in this show. In my opinion, she is even worse than Jinx. I mean, she’s on a whole other level of villainy. It’s mind-boggling.
Tumblr media
One of my friends, who I got addicted to the show, believes that Vi is worse than her sister Jinx when it comes to being afflicted by mental illness. He argues this because Vi punched two kids, Powder and Isha. Initially, I tried to convince him to give Vi the benefit of the doubt. One incident was an emotional response, and the other happened because Isha bit her. However, after reflecting on it and watching how Vi treated her sister throughout season one and the first 3 episodes of season 2, I now see what he means. Vi lacks compassion and empathy, especially towards her sister. Unlike Powder, who unconditionally loves Vi even as Jinx. Powder killed Silco because he was going to shoot Vi.
Tumblr media
As for Caitlyn, despite showing moments of compassion here and there, deep down, she didn’t truly possess it. I attribute it to her naivety. That scene with Maddie in her bed in episode 4 was so unexpected and hilarious. It made me laugh so hard. Even in their conversation, Caitlyn seemed cold towards Maddie. I interpreted her words as covertly expressing her boredom with their relationship. It was cringe-worthy to watch Maddie not taking the hint at all. “Girl, she’s not interested. Stop trying. She doesn’t care.” And then Cait got up and left. I had to pause the show because I couldn’t stop laughing. Cait is like a full-fledged dictator.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, listen up. I need you to read this carefully. Caitlyn, with a personal vendetta against Jinx, resorted to using chemical warfare in the Undercity. She poisoned innocent people, completely disregarding the fact that her own mother had tried to improve the conditions there. Remember those vents her mother created to provide fresh air and combat the sickness caused by the “Gray” in the air? Well, Caitlyn went ahead and used the same harmful substances on the citizens of Zaun while hunting down Jinx. It’s just so wrong on so many levels.
Tumblr media
Now, Vander once told Vi that she had a good heart. I couldn’t help but wonder how that could be possible. Vi punched her own sister, abandoned her, got captured by the Sheriff, and was thrown into Stillwater with no one knowing her whereabouts. Then Caitlyn shows up, releases Vi, and enlists her help in navigating the treacherous Undercity. But even there, Vi tries to ditch Caitlyn and repeats the same mistakes she made with Jinx, which we all know didn’t end well. On top of that, Vi gets injured by Auntie Sevika, and Caitlyn, who can be compassionate at times, but also lets her high status and naivety cloud her judgment, provides her with medical treatment.
Tumblr media
It’s frustrating to see that Caitlyn fails to fully comprehend the privilege she holds. She doesn’t seem to grasp that Piltover, her mother, and the other council members played a significant role in the state of the Undercity and the violence that plagues it right under their noses. Even in season 2, she continues to overlook her privilege and forces Vi to choose between Zaun and Piltover. Vi, who is easily influenced at this point, chooses her girlfriend, but failing to realize Cait only tolerates the Zaunites mainly due to their relationship. Not because she truly cares. But even during the tea party scene in the last episode of season one, Caitlyn lacks genuine compassion or empathy for Jinx, despite the fact that Jinx has suffered the most. Jinx even protected Vi from getting shot by Silco, the woman Cait supposedly is or was in love with.
It’s disheartening to see Vi constantly resorting to violence and repeatedly telling Powder that she’s no longer her sister and that she’s a monster. All the while, she fails to fully acknowledge that Powder has been under the care and manipulation of Silco. And we can’t forget that she has trauma and other mental health issues and isn’t seeing the world clearly at all. Jinx hallucinated when she’s overly stressed and triggered, and she was loaded with Shimmer because she nearly died and it was the only thing that saved her life, for what, to continue to suffer.
As we approach the end of season 2, I find myself contemplating who the true villains of this story are. To be honest, they all exist in shades of gray, constantly fluctuating between darkness and something slightly less sinister. Even Caitlyn is not exempt from this. In fact, she may be worse than Jinx in some ways. While Jinx caused relatively minimal harm in season one, Caitlyn, under her marshal law, has inflicted significant suffering upon Zaun in her relentless pursuit of Jinx.
It’s important to note that most of Jinx’s killings in season one were carried out under the influence of Silco. She wanted to fulfill Silco’s desires, namely, securing Zaun’s independence. She never truly believed in Silco’s cause, but she craved a sense of usefulness and acceptance from her father figure. This internal conflict of wanting to be needed and valued led her to create a destructive weapon for Silco. And in the end, she used it as a way to cope with the guilt and shame of killing him. Despite his claims of love and loyalty, Silco didn’t leave Jinx with many alternatives. She needed an outlet for her grief over her sister seeing her as a monster and the pain of taking the life of the only person who embraced her, flaws and all.
This is precisely why Arcane is such a heart-wrenching series to watch. The characters and their emotions are incredibly complex. Jinx, in particular, never seems to catch a break.
In Season 2, we had the opportunity to witness her actively working towards fixing things. She turned over a new leaf by taking care of Isha, becoming a sister, a motherly figure, and a friend. It was something she was determined not to mess up, and believe me, Jinx did an incredible job as a mother during the time she spent with Isha. In fact, she outshone Silco, Vi, and Vander combined when it came to ensuring Isha’s well-being. This is why I affectionately refer to Sevika as Auntie Sevika, because she truly acted like a concerned family figure, especially when she and Jinx were searching for Isha in the prison block. Those scenes will always hold a special place in my heart.
But let’s go back to Jinx’s role as a good sister and motherly figure. She transformed her lair, making it more vibrant and colorful. She even created a cozy nook for Isha to sleep in, which was a significant improvement from Jinx’s own childhood spent in a dreary room with a bunk bed. Jinx made sure to spend quality time playing with Isha, and they developed a unique way of communicating since Isha was non-verbal. Jinx struck the perfect balance of granting Isha independence to help her grow and adapt in their harsh world, while still ensuring that she didn’t take on tasks beyond her capabilities as a child.
I witnessed this dynamic in action during a dire situation in the prison when Warwick entered and started killing the guards. Jinx immediately ordered Sevika to get Isha out of there. It was heart-wrenching to see Isha crying and not wanting to be separated from Jinx. But Jinx, selflessly sacrificing herself, fought Warwick alone to buy time for Sevika to escape with Isha.
In episode 5, an interesting moment occurs when Vi reactively hits Isha, causing her nose to bleed. Immediately, Jinx gets up to check on her. This is when it becomes apparent that Vi is realizing her sister is changing and that she is not the monster she believed her to be, regardless of what happened in season one. It’s actually quite satisfying to see Vi’s perspective shift and her self-righteousness knocked off its pedestal.
Moving on to episode 6, we witness Jinx’s growing trust in Isha as she assigns her small missions, such as fetching her gun and sneaking it into Viktor’s camp. Throughout the process, Jinx closely observes Isha through a spyglass and even praises her. It’s a fascinating development that showcases the evolving dynamics between these characters.
Now, let’s talk about Cait. Although she puts Singe to sleep with a chokehold, it becomes clear that she only did it for Vi. However, this decision leads to Ambessa’s right-hand man putting Cait in a one-handed chokehold. And guess who comes to Cait’s rescue? That’s right, Jinx. It’s worth noting that Jinx nearly dies herself if it weren’t for Vander waking up and blocking the glaive from hitting his daughter. When Cait wakes up, she’s surprised to see Jinx. I couldn’t help but laugh at Cait’s confusion because she’s been saved by the very person she’s been hunting. It’s a moment that calls for reflection on Cait’s part.
Overall, these events in the episodes highlight the complex relationships and character growth that is taking place.
Tumblr media
Although Cait lost her mother because of Jinx’s actions. Let us be real about this. Jinx didn’t consider who was present in the council room. Her primary goal was to destroy the building, as it represented her torment and Silco’s desires. However, the loss that Jinx experienced with Isha sacrificing herself is distinctly different. Jinx witnessed the entire event and desperately wanted to intervene, or at least take part, but Vi prevented her from doing so. Vi held onto Jinx, preventing her from joining the tragic scene. As a result, Jinx had to helplessly observe her sister, daughter, and best friend being consumed by the explosion. While Cait may have lost her mother, Jinx lost everything. She lost the person who gave her purpose and the motivation to heal and become a better individual. Additionally, she lost Vander, her second adopted father, during this process. Frankly speaking, Jinx is not obligated to assist Piltover or Vi in any way. She doesn’t owe anyone anything. However, she might embrace her role as the leader that Sevika sees her as, considering Sevika’s loyalty and willingness to follow Jinx’s orders. Sevika showed her loyalty by informing Jinx about Isha’s capture and aiding Jinx in breaking into the prison to ensure Isha’s safety. If Jinx helps, it will be for her own personal reasons rather than any sense of obligation.
Tumblr media
I still believe that a final battle between Caitlyn and Jinx is necessary. It would be fitting, considering they are mirrored characters, with one rising and the other descending. Can you guess who is descending? Moreover, I even envision Sevika confronting Ambessa, despite the fact that the trailer shows Caitlyn fighting Ambessa. With Saturday just around the corner, there is much anticipation.

Law & Love Chapter 3
Tumblr media
THEN
Y/N it's not what you think. Please call me (406)321-5879
NOW
I don’t call him when I clock out. I don't call him while I take a cab home. In fact, I don't call him at all.
I am angry! Angry at myself for letting him in and angry at him for asking me out when he is clearly unavailable.
I don't know how they do stuff here in Montana but I was raised to be faithful and true.  That's probably why I endured Eric's lack of attention and overlooked his cheating for so long.
Yes, I knew my boyfriend was out fucking anything with a vagina almost weekly. I discovered it when I found a hotel receipt in his pocket.
I did a little amateur sleuthing and found out that he had used that certain hotel for years. He had an open account with the seedy fleabag accommodations; he paid after the use of their room, usually with cash that I still didn't know where it came from. So, I tolerated his cheating and laziness because that's what I was taught to do.
But now? Now was different. I am not that same girl I was then. I was aware of the obscenity of the world and knew very few people abided by the 'old ways'.
So, I'm not about to let some philandering womanizer get the best of me. He cannot have his cake and eat it too!
Tumblr media
It’s been a few days since the sheriff and his girlfriend/wife/whatever had visited the diner and I was ever so grateful. I didn’t want to see his cheating, conniving face at all! Everytime I thought about the audacity he had to ask me out when he was clearly taken, my blood pressure skyrocketed. The nerve of him! The gall to manipulate the situation to his advantage was mind boggling.
After the lunch rush was over, I set about getting the remaining tables and chairs back into their proper order when the bell rang and someone stepped in. I smile as I see who I know now is a regular at this time of the day, Joey. Joey would come in when the rush was over and keep Deb and I amused with his stories of different things. He seems to be a nice guy who lived alone and simply desired social interaction.
I smile at him as he walks to his usual spot and settles in. Deb writes up his normal order. As I pass by headed to the kitchen, Joey smiles and speaks. “You look nice today, Y/n.”
“Thanks Joey.”
Deb and I listen to Joey as he regales about the time his uncle took him and his cousins fishing at Park Lake Campground, southwest of town.
"So, here we were standing alongside the lake. We could practically see the fish swimming around, waiting for us to throw our lines in. Marco and Luis were baiting their hooks as ole Uncle Paul was sliding the earthworm onto mine.  He didn't trust me not to try to eat the lure." He pauses as Deb and I give him a look of disgust. He laughs and continues.
"Ladies, I was 4 years old okay! I probably would've tried to eat it," he laughs. "Anyway, he gets the hook ready and hands me the pole. I watch my cousins cast their line out into the water so I pull back and throw……hook, line, sinker and pole. It floats on the water for a second before it sinks. Uncle P starts yelling and running toward the water. No one caught anything that day."
The bell over the door rings and a woman walks in with a brown paper bag with handles. There is no writing on the nondescript back. She smiles at us and asks for Y/N. I groan as I realize exactly what that means.
The fucking sheriff has sent me another goddamn gift. I mask my irritation and I step forward with a smile and take the bag.
Inside is a stuffed animal. I pull it out to see it's a gray squirrel holding an acorn in its paws. On the acorn are the words "NUTS FOR YOU".
Yea, he's nuts if he thinks I'm going to keep accepting his little gifts and trinkets. Not when he's a two-timing jerk!
I stuff the stuffed animal back in the bag and take it in the back room, where we keep our personal items.
After my shift, I'm making a pitstop at the Sheriff's office and putting an end to his treacherous ways, once and for all!
Tumblr media
The taxi driver can tell I’m on a mission as soon as I slide into the backseat and utter, “Take me to the sheriff’s office.”
As we pull up outside of Helena P.D. I can see the red truck that I know belongs to the sheriff sitting alongside the other cop cars in the lot. I can’t help but sneer at it as I pay the cabbie and exit the vehicle.
I open the door to the building and am met immediately with the smell of donuts and coffee. I want to laugh at  the plain and simple stereotype of it all but before I can even twitch my lips, I look through and see Sheriff Arlen and his companion through the glass that divides the front of the station with what is apparently his office. They are both smiling and talking and I see him throw his head back and laugh at what she just said.
“Can I help you?”
I bring my focus back to the front to see the same officer that had come to collect the sheriff and his companion that day at the diner; the day I realized just what a swindler the man in charge is.
“I need to speak to the Sheriff, if you can pull the lovebirds apart,” I jeer. The man looks at me questioningly and goes to open his mouth but evidently Beau has noticed my presence and comes out of the room.
“Y/N?” he calls as he approaches, a smile on his face. What the fuck is he smiling for? Does he not realize I know what a fraud he is?  His ‘whatever she is’ is standing right there behind him, leaning against the door frame of his office. Her arms are crossed over her front and her head is sort of cocked to the side. Does she know who I am? Does she know he asked me out when he is obviously involved with her? Why is she not fuming? Why does she look as if she could care less?
Beau finally gets to the front desk and he nods at the officer who was still standing there. “I got this Popcorn.”
‘Popcorn’ nods and heads back to his desk.
“What’re you doing here?” the Sheriff asks. “Having more troubles?”
I clear my throat and straighten my stance as I pull the brown gift bag from my purse. I reach inside and grab the stuffed animal and remove it. I look at it one more time before I lift it and throw it right in his face.
“I don’t want your stupid gifts! I don’t want anything to do with you! How dare you try to take advantage of me in my time of need! You’re a fucking asshole and a cheat! Fuck. You!”
I turn to leave but not before I notice the look of confusion on the sheriff’s face.  As I push the door open, I hear his voice. “Y/N! Wait!”

Hi, its me again (📼 anon) and I hope you don't mind if I vent a little since you seem the kind of person to talk to. My main topic on this vent is about abuse so just a heads-up as a trigger warning.
So I'm going to admit this to you: a while back before Helluva Boss was out, I was a HUGE Vivziepop hater--like, I use to hate on her nonstop and not to mention I would also interact with antis and "critics" and rant with them. However, I was young and stupid and, honestly, I don't remember why I even started to hate her--probably because I was one of those people who seem to join in groups without any second thought.
And then, HB came out--and so I decided to watch it. I watched episode after episode, and I did rant after rant about how much wrong each episode was and did "critques" on them (it was only just stupid shit--even nitpicking the little things and just doung overlooked dumbass rants). However, one thing about Helluva Boss antis/critiques just LOVE to bash about was Stolitz--though, for me, I started to love the ship itself. Though, in fear of me of not wanting to look like I was starting to like it, I pretended to hate it even though I was starting to make it my OTP.
But then, when the first episode of the second season came out, that was when I made an 180 about my views on the show--mostly cuz I was now being more mature and I was now starting to notice how none of these critiques made no sense and/or they were just dumb because these antis were just hating on vivienne for no reason other than she just existed. Yeah, I know, its terrible because it is; not to also mention that most of these antis/critics always made assumptions that made me go "woah, wtf???"
One of the things antis/critics made it clear was one thing: Stella is a victim and Stolas is not and he's a bad guy cuz he cheated on her + many other ""opinions"" as to why she's a "good guy". This made me cringe and VERY infuriating on my part. I, a bi/pan genderqueer guy, was in a toxic and abusive relationship with an ex-girlfriend of mine who was also like Stella (minus being British)--she would hit me, calls me harsh names and insults, and would also throw things at me. I was with her for a good three years, before I decided I had enough of her shit and I promptly dumped her and called the police (she's still in prison to this day since I wanted to press charges and took this to court with a ton of evidence I collected to prove that she did those things). I've been with my boyfriend (non-binary demiromantic gay guy) for two-and-a-half years now and he makes me more happier than what my ex had for me. Obviously, I still have trauma from her, but I'm still trying to work it out with my best friend who is a therapist to go through it.
Seeing how these people will defend Stella, who is an ABUSER, just boggles me because I'm a victim of abuse and antis/critics will be like "stolas abuses blitz cuz he uses him for sex!!" but at the same time they'll support Stella and praise her for when there is implement/reference to her abusing Stolas. Like, I get it to how ppl will say she's a victim as well cuz she was forced into marriage with Stolas--which I get it, no doubt. I am not denying that--but people seem to forget that, in forced marriages, there is that one "spouse" who is a horrible person and will abuse the other. My oldest cousin on my mother's side is a victim of forced marriage, and he was abused by his "wife" for five years until he gained his independence by the help of his friends (including myself) to help move out and divorce her. He's now openly gay, and getting married to his fiancé in late October of this year.
It grosses me out, because I know damn well Stella is not a victim and these people are so hypocritical when it comes to it. She's not a savior, she's not a hero, nor does she deserve praise. I know Stolas is not perfect, but neither is Blitz and that's TOTALLY okay since no relationship is built to perfectness--and it were, then that's just being toxic and unrealistic. And since then, I am now a huge fan of Vivziepop and I rightfully got merch of both shows.
So yeah, that's my vent. Sorry if you had to read this wall of text in your inbox, but I know you would understand on why I had to vent like this. I kinda accidentally doom-scrolled the "anti stolitz" tag and I came across a post of someone cheering on for stella on abusing Stolas (ew, yucky, gross). But yeah, tl;dr: was a huge anti, turned my life around and became a fan after seeing ppl defend Stella of abuse as some who was a victim of said abuse, and fuck stella defenders :)
First of all, thank you for venting. You look like you really needed it, and I appreciate it
Second of all, thank you for telling me. Haters just don’t know when to shut up about these kinds of things. For me, I just ignore their ranting and just enjoy both shows that Viv made. There was literally no reason to hate on her. I JUST WANNA ENJOY A SHOW ABOUT GAY DEMONS WITHOUT PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT IT
Third of all, Stella defenders are also idiots as well. To be honest, I thought Stella was a victim in the second episode, until we saw her again, and now I’m like, “Yup. Stella’s a bitch, and she can fuck off”
Fourth of all, I’m so sorry you had to went through that kind of stuff with your Stella (glad you broke it off with her. She just seems terrible), and found someone that actually cares and loves you. It just seems so sweet
Fifth of all, congratulations for your cousin
Sixth of all, I’m glad you turn things around for your point of view, and that just makes me happy

The lack of accountability that Stefan gets on and off the show is astonishing. When Damon thought Caroline should die and not transition after Katherine turned her you could see that Stefan was agreeing with him until Elena got shocked at Stefan's response and said "Stefan?" Then he became more agreeable to Elena's wish cause he wanted to look better than his brother to her but I think he, like Damon, found the presence of more vampires an inconvenience and potential threat to them being in that town. Even with Vicki from the beginning it seemed like he didn't want her to complete the transition. He didn't tell her she would die if she didn't complete the transition and was vague. She had to figure it out herself. He tells her Damon didn't have the right to turn her but he didn't have the right to kill her either. Stefan killing Vicki is easily overlooked. He was a much older vampire and definitely stronger. He could've snapped her neck or done something else to stop her from feeding on Elena instead of stabbing her. The way he panicked when Vicki fed on Logan after his death in order to complete the transition showed how he didn't want Vicki to make her own choice. There's more that showed him not liking if Vicki became a vampire. I don't think Damon necessarily liked it either but he responded to it differently at different times depending on his mood while Stefan was not for it at all. It's also interesting that he says it's wrong to prey on innocent people when that's what he did to Elena and also by not learning to better control his bloodlust before coming into the lives of people he claims to care about. It was Elena who stood in the middle to protect Caroline and not Stefan and SErs claim she's not good enough for him when she's been the most humane one in the love triangle. Stefan has a tendency to hide his true feelings on multiple occasions if he thinks it's too dark for Elena to be comfortable with, which is why she was shocked when she learned more about that part of him in season 3.
Damon-haters have no idea, but he actually cared about Caroline in that episode. Yes, sometimes they feel the need to kill people they care about. Caroline was one of those people. It's through Liz that he started to care about her, and it's because of Liz that he felt the need to kill her. We're talking about two vampire brothers who had a vampire-hating father, and who were very much killed by him just for trying to save Katherine. Liz isn't just the sheriff, she's part of the same secret vampire-killing council. It's one thing for Damon to hide from her, another for Caroline. She lives with her mother, Liz was gonna find out. His need to kill Caroline is similar to his need to kill Alaric after Esther turned him. Damon knows how this is going to end. He feels it his responsibility because he's the one who fed her his blood, so he's the one who "created" her. He's killing his creation much like Stefan would burn one of his journals. He chose to give Stefan and Elena a chance to help Caroline, but Liz will find out.... which happens in season 2 because Damon is most often right.
Stefan agreed because Damon's right. Both caring about her, but knowing it has to be done. Katherine signed her death sentence because she's not just anyone's daughter, she's Liz's. The lack of accountability that Stefan gets on and off the show boggles my mind too. I was just talking on Twitter about how fans use his humanity switch to excuse his kills, while at the same time, refuse to see how Stefan uses it to play the victim.
Stefan doesn't want vampires, period. He's a vampire hater, and there are enough dialogues in the show that actually show this. You can feel it in his words and his tone. If you wanna hear that tone, I could list dialogues for you to listen to back-to-back. Damon has his own distinctive tone that's complete opposite, and it's when he's with Elena. He drops to a flirty tone or a soft whisper.
Stefan killing Vicki gets less attention because he's not the man Damon is, but he's equally responsible. He didn't have to stake her, he could've snapped her neck. She was a newbie vampire for crying out loud. The apology Jeremy gets from Stefan is cheap. The one he gets from Damon is gorgeous because his character is gorgeous.
Shippers have it wrong. Elena is too good for Stefan. He's emotionally abusive. One of the first things I noted about him aside from his jealous, controlling, possessive personality... is the fact that Elena is to accept him as a vampire, but no one else. He was trying to deny her a friendship with Damon, when that's not his choice, it's hers. They repeat this in season 4 because Delena crossed the line of friendship, but it's the same thing. Stefan is so selfish with her love, that he expected Damon to sire her to stay away from him... when they both believed her sire bond would last forever. So Stefan was point-blank trying to deny Damon ever seeing her again, just as he was when they returned from Atlanta. Damon isn't selfish like that. As long as she's alive to be happy, she's fine to be with Stefan.

Let's Chat About those Guardians
It’s mind-boggling to think how long has it been since we first met the MCU guardians. It’s been 9 years and this third part is meant to be the conclusion. So let’s gush. No reviewing, no goods or bads, let’s just chat about the movie.
Tumblr media
I was supposed to watch it on May 3 but a tragic event forced the theaters to postpone the premiere. So it took a week of dodging the spoilers. And you know what? That was incredibly easy this time, despite my following a bunch of comic book accounts and casually browsing Tumblr and Reddit. Nothing was spoiled but everyone warned me I’ll be crying. I didn’t, I sobbed but I didn’t cry.
Like many millennials (so it seems), I don’t take animal abuse lightly and gotg goes out of its way to show you how sweet and trusting they are. Which makes the story of Rocket and his friends so much more heartbreaking. It’s hard to watch and it’s impossible to look away. So before I go into detail about everything else I loved, I have to mention that this was tough. The flashbacks, while impeccably done and masterfully sprinkled all over the movie, kept hitting over and over. It really made me wanna hug my cats tight (which I of course did when I returned from the theater.)
Now to the rest of it.
We got a new villain. He’s not a galactic threat, he does his own thing an would’ve been easily ignored had it not been for his personal ties to Rocket. But this is exactly what I keep saying I love about comics and what I miss dearly when heroes are facing off a huge mega villain. It works best when it’s personal and you can get away with that easily whenever you put in time to develop your characters.
Characters
Guardians have no lack in development: if you look at them, each one has made a journey from a little-known and almost discarded 616 c-lister to a highly recognized hero. And from a misfit to a family member.
But despite this being very much a Rocket story, I see this found family narrative brought home mostly by Gamora. We don’t see her story, not this Gamora’s anyway. But we see her having found her place among the ravagers. And it’s so heartwarming. She’s not the same Gamora who died on Vormir and it’s being mentioned over and over again. She even gets falsely nostalgic over the possibility of being with the guardians but her home is not there. And I appreciate her being a little closer to her comics counterpart- the deadliest woman in the galaxy.
It’s beautiful that she keeps in touch with her sister. And it’s beautiful that Nebula, initially a side character, in the best traditions of writing, makes the longest and the most complex journey from a maniac at Thanos’s side to a caring family member and the leader of Knowhere. This reminds you that several appearances if done right, can build an arc. Sort of like Anne in the Buffyverse.
Quill works through his issues, and he has a lot of those. I honestly don’t know when and why he will return but it sure will be nice to watch him in a fresh new team-up. Previous movies always focused on him more, and it made sense at the time (comics tend to do the same) but him returning to Earth is definitely a twist. Not exactly unexpected, just interesting. He managed to avoid it and he seemed to have made peace with never going back there but I suppose to face his issues he had to return. This could’ve been overlooked but I love that it isn’t.
Drax and Mantis- what a fun friendship they’ve built. I’m so glad we saw tons of it in the Christmas special and it built the way for the touching arc and finale here in gotg 3. I don’t see any good reason for them to part, really. So this is just sad. I hope they at least keep in touch. But honestly, Mantis definitely has room for more stories (so does Drax, I mean we gotta see Moondragon eventually, especially with Phyla showing up, and even with retcons in mind, she could still be his kid).
But all in all, these are the two characters that pretty much carry the comedy with each interaction. And in vol.3 they literally never fail to deliver. And notice how comedy mostly comes from phrases and interactions amid tragic and serious events.
This movie has a lot going on and Adam Warlock could’ve easily been too much. But I like how they managed to make him a reasonable part of the story and he even got his own little arc. I mean, he is an amazing character in the comics and brings some quality stories to be told.
The new Guardians lineup has potential and so far, that’s the only thing I can say because I’m not a fan of theorizing. And we don’t really know if they will return but they may. I mean anything is possible right? But even if they don’t, I like knowing they’re all out there somewhere.
Is it too naive to still hope to see Nova/Gamora romance? I’m a sucker for a good ship and theirs was in my opinion the best one as far as Gamora’s concerned. So here’s still hoping.
Story
Yeah, the story overall. Like I said, a lot is going on and somehow it all still works. Because every little story and side quest actually builds the whole bigger picture. Even though it was so easy to fall into the same trap TRoS did (I’ll never get over how bad that movie is.)
But in this case, every story is given enough time to matter and not a single minute is wasted on an irrelevant cameo or fam service. In fact, there aren’t that many references to the bigger 199999 (oh yeah that’s never gonna be 616.) It feels like its own thing, even though it’s tied heavily to Infinity War and Endgame. Still, you experience it as part 3. With the logical conclusion to every character. It also doesn’t set up anything, so if you don’t like movies that serve as building blocks for the MCU, this one is right up your alley. It’s very much its own thing. Although you have to come from the house that is the Infinity Saga.
It’s funny as hell, it makes you tear up, and it leaves you happy and excited. This is all you can possibly want from a movie. As long as you don’t forget that this isn’t a retelling of the comics, but really its own reality.

I have a major complaint on Renee and those who follow her. I will get to Jon too. Why does she think it's okay to make a cocktail or anything with alcohol or have alcohol in the house? Why do her co-workers and followers just kiss her ass and not point out it's not wise to do so? I have been in an actual rehab. I will not be around alcohol. I can't. I may never be able to be and that's fine. I don't mean like going to the store. My home has none. It's not allowed. I don't go where alcohol will be. Mostly bars, concerts and so on. I made the mistake once thinking I could handle it and messed up, setting my recovery back. It boggles my mind that any spouse would ignore this. There is no way she cares or loves him. We know he has had a drinking problem for years. Way before her and WWE. I don't think he took his alcoholism serious enough. He may be drinking less, but he's still drinking. He can't have any self worth or he'd tell her no on the alcohol, be it drinks or that stupid ice cream she gets with it in it. You can make dry cocktails. Tony Khan should of done him like he did Jeff Hardy when it came to rehab. Just because he's not had a wreck and killed anyone doesn't mean shit. He's a risk wrestling with any substance in his system. He's had DUI's before most likely. He was seen or shown by her driving before his half ass attempt at rehab with Nora in the vehicle even when she was a baby. I don't get how so many can overlook and excuse this, including those hesin ring with and his boss. It won't just be Jon held accountable if himself or somebody else gets hurt due to his drinking and working. It'll be Renee and Tony. She can't say she doesn't know. They live together, travel together, work together, are married. There's no not knowing for her. There's no not knowing for his employers either since he works for different companies but mostly Tony Khan. This includes Sami Callihan and Revolver too. I know how hard it is to battle alcoholism first hand. You lose people when you set that boundary for your well being. Support and accountability matters. Jon has neither of those.
First of all, sorry for the late reply...I don't have that much time at the moment.
I think all of us know how stupid and inconsiderate it is for a wife to handle alcohol when the husband is a (sober) alcoholic...but since Mox's rehab story is absolute BS (we've all seen that he was hanging around Kentucky) one can only really blame Renee for selling that lie as badly as her COVID lie. We can all see that Mox is drinking again, looking just as bloated as he did before his "rehab". But obviously neither his wife nor his colleagues are interested in that and his boss doesn't care anyway.
We don't need to talk about his qualities as a father anyway, because for that he would have to be a father. But whoever leaves this kid with these two alcoholics deserves jail.
You can be proud of how you handle your addiction. I wish you all the best for the future and that you stay strong.👊🏼

One thing I rarely hear people talk about is how brokenstar's blindness is treated like a punishment to make him useless which, to me, is probably the biggest example of overlooked ableism in Warriors X_X Like they straight up said he was useless cuz he was blind, there are scenes of him flailing about because he can't see and like??? Nobody talks about this ???? Which boggles my mind

Ch. 7 is finally posted! Lesbian Interlude time!!!
_ _ _ _ _
The thing between Steve and Eddie was getting out of hand. It had been three weeks since the last time Robin had gotten to spend more than five minutes alone with her platonic soulmate.
She was happy for him, don’t get her wrong. But by god was Eddie’s constant presence annoying.
However, if that constant presence meant spending time with Chrissy Cunningham, then Robin could deal.
Chrissy was by far the cutest girl in Hawkins. Probably in all of Roane County. Hell, maybe even all of Indiana. Robin wouldn’t say in all of America, though. After all, Reneé Rapp existed.
What was even more mind-boggling than the fact that the beautiful cheerleader and the metalhead vampire were best friends was that Chrissy was also a lesbian. A lesbian! Maybe there was a god.
Too often, Robin’s crushes were on the unattainable straight girls. Even when she and Vickie, a loud and proud bisexual, were in the talking stage, it never pandered out. Vickie, for all of her good qualities, was too hung up on her on-and-off-again boyfriend. Steve had to talk sense into her, because, no, Robin really could not deal with being in an open relationship with someone. Especially when she never knew where she stood with Vickie.
So Chrissy being a lesbian and completely single was kind of a miracle. Robin had to keep reminding herself not to get her hopes up.
“This is me,” Chrissy said as they reached her house. “Would you like to come inside for a bit?”
Steve would worry if she took too long to get back to his house.
Wait, what was she thinking? Judging by the eyes he had been making at his boyfriend when they left, Steve wasn’t going to notice she'd been gone for longer than a few minutes. Besides, Chrissy Cunningham was asking her to spend more time with her. How could she ever turn that opportunity down?
Even though they lived in the same neighborhood, Chrissy’s house was nowhere as large as Steve’s. It still classified as a McMansion, at least in Robin’s book, what with the grand balcony overlooking the street and the ornate French windows on either side of the dark oak doors. The well-manicured rose bushes led her to believe the Cunninghams employed a landscaping service as well. After all, those shits were a bitch to maintain. So, yeah, they were rich.
After calling out a hello to her parents, Chrissy led her up to her bedroom.
It was . . . pink. It reminded her a lot of Nancy’s room, the one time she’d been invited in. However, Chrissy’s room had more frills and less ammo.
Chrissy flopped onto the quilted bed, pulling a lavendar narwhal Squishmallow to her chest, and qued up one of those YouTube lo-fi study playlists on the TV mounted to her wall.
“Sorry, I’ve got to have music playing at all times or I’ll go crazy.”
“You sound like Eddie.”
“Dear god, please don’t say that,” Chrissy laughed. Robin’s heart swooped at the sound. “Especially in front of my parents.”
“Not a fan of him?” Although, she understood why. Most parents wouldn’t be too pleased with their child befriending the local drug dealer.
She shook her head. “They say I spend too much time with him, especially since Jason and I broke up. I swear, no matter how many times I tell them Eddie is just a friend, they still think we’re dating.”
“My parents used to think the same thing!” Robin smiled as a sense of kinship with the other girl formed. “They wouldn’t shut up about how nice of a boy Steve was, and how beautiful our babies would look. Which, ew. Incest!”
Chrissy giggled again, sending heat to the pit of Robin’s gut. “Agreed.”
Robin felt Chrissy's eyes on her as she inspected the tchotchkes and fruity Bath and Body Works perfumes scattered about Chrissy's dresser top. She picked up a Precious Moments cheerleader girl, smiled at it, then set it back down. “It wasn’t until I finally came out to them that they finally realized our relationship was and only ever would be Platonic with a capital ‘P.’” She fiddled with the necklaces dangling from a jewelry hanger.
The other girl sighed. “I wish I could do that with my parents. Not sure if you saw the bajillion crosses on the walls downstairs, but they wouldn’t take the news well.”
Dropping the necklace chains, Robin crossed the room and perched herself on the edge of the bed, just to be near Chrissy. “That sucks.”
“What can you do?” Chrissy shrugged and picked at her nails. “My older sister is getting married in the spring. My family–my mom especially–is, of course, all excited for her. I am too. Her fiancé is a nice guy, and he seems to treat my sister right. It’s just annoying because the wedding is all my family will talk about. It made me realize that my family will never have the same reaction and give me the same amount of support whenever I get married.”
Robin exhaled. That sucked. Sure, she’d been nervous about coming out to her parents, but her parents were communist-leaning hippies. She’d had a feeling that they would be accepting of her sexuality, even if they didn’t fully understand it.
She took her hand. Chrissy, glossy lips parted slightly, looked up at her. Her hand was smaller and softer than Robin’s own. It made her want to bite something.
She took a steadying breath, trying not to let her words ramble. “Fuck them. When you get married, Eddie, Steve, and I will throw you the biggest, most elegant and Chrissy-approved wedding of your dreams. And we’ll post the photos all over Instagram and they’ll be so jealous they weren’t invited that it’ll eat them alive.”
“Yeah?” Chrissy blinked up at her. Although a smile had made its way onto her face, the tip of her nose was red and her eyes were filled with unshed tears. Robin refrained from calling attention to it, though. If their places were traded, she’d rather die than admit her parents’ bigotry affected her that much.
“Yeah,” Robin smiled back at her. “And don’t even get me started on the bachelorette party. We’re going to get kicked out of so many clubs.”
Chrissy’s petite nose scrunched as she giggled again. Was this woman trying to kill her?
“I didn’t take you for the clubbing type.”
“I’m not. Loud music makes me anxious. And all those sweaty bodies gyrating on the dancefloor, packed together like sardines? Ew.” She stuck her tongue out. “But, the party would be for you, and that seems like your scene.”
“Aw, you’d sacrifice your own comfort for me?”
“Of course.” As if that were ever a question. “You deserve to be celebrated.”
Chrissy’s face went pink. Her eyes fluttered down to where her fingers played with Robin’s rings. Robin did not know how she was still alive after all of this.
Chrissy sniffed and swiped at her eyes. “Sorry for trauma dumping on you.”
Robin waved her off. “That’s what friends are for.”
“So, we’re friends?”
“Well, yeah,” A fear struck her. “Unless you don’t want to be?”
Chrissy’s hand tightened around her own. “No, I do. I do. I just didn’t think you thought that.”
Robin squirmed. Cool your jets, Buckley. She wanted more than that, but she didn’t know if Chrissy felt the same way. Besides, better to take what she could get than scare her off.
“Yeah, I do.”
They were still holding hands. Chrissy seemed to notice it at the same time as she did and pulled her hand away to adjust her skirt. Robin missed the feeling instantly.
“Would you like to stick around for a bit? Maybe watch another movie?”
Robin’s heartbeat raced. Chrissy wanted to spend more time with her. Although it was probably for purely platonic reasons–after all, they'd just established their friendship–Robin had a difficult time maintaining her hopes.
“Please. I do not want to walk in on whatever Steve and Eddie are doing right now.”
“Blech, don’t make me think of that. I’ve heard Eddie wax on about Steve’s dick enough that I have permanent mental scars.”
“He and Steve really must be made for each other. I’ve never seen the man naked, but I could probably draw an accurate portrait of Eddie by just going off of what Steve’s told me.”
Chrissy let out a long-suffering sigh. “Boys.”
“Tell me about it.”
The two girls settled against the headboard. Chrissy’s arm brushed against hers as she scrolled through Hulu, and Robin was being so normal about it. Definitely not having a total meltdown inside. Nuh, uh.
She should get an award for what a brave soldier she had been tonight.
Whenever the movie was over, she decided, she would call Steve to let him know she was heading back to his house. That way, the boys would have enough time to collect themselves and save her from any more mental scaring.
But as the movie wore on, the two girls continued to talk about life and school and how hot Aubrey Plaza was, and Robin really, really did not want to leave. So, even as she was nodding off, pressed against Chrissy’s shoulder, she stayed. Because maybe she deserved a little hope.

Baddest Predict: A Dive into the Realm of Unbelievable Prophecies!
Have you ever come across predictions that left you utterly flabbergasted, wondering how in the world someone could have foreseen such events? Well, my friend, hold on tight as we explore some of the baddest predicts that will make your jaw drop.
Let's begin with Nostradamus - a name synonymous with enigmatic prophecies. This 16th-century French astrologer and physician captivated audiences with his cryptic verses that seemed to predict future catastrophes. From World War II to the rise of Hitler, many claim he foresaw these monumental events long before they unfolded.
Moving on from ancient times to recent history, who can forget Harold Camping's infamous prediction about Judgment Day? With fervor and conviction, Camping declared May 21st, 2011 as the day when true believers would ascend to heaven while catastrophic earthquakes ravaged Earth. Needless to say, reality didn't quite align with his forecast.
In the realm of technology and innovation, we cannot ignore Thomas Watson's legendary misjudgment in predicting a global market for only five computers! As CEO of IBM back in 1943, his statement is now seen as one of history's biggest blunders in forecasting technological demand.
And let us not overlook those bizarre but strangely accurate forecasts made by The Simpsons television series. Over its long run time, this animated show seemingly predicted various real-life events such as Donald Trump becoming president and even Lady Gaga performing at halftime during Super Bowl LI.
These examples barely scratch the surface of humanity's fascination with predictions gone awry or spot-on. They remind us that sometimes truth can be stranger than fiction and our ability to foresee what lies ahead remains an eternal mystery.
Stay tuned as we continue our journey through astonishing baddest predicts that challenge our understanding of what is possible within the realms of human foresight!

What is the key to making the baddest predict? It's all about analyzing data, trends, and patterns. With so much information available at our fingertips, we have the power to make accurate predictions that can shape our decisions and actions.
But predicting the future isn't an exact science. There are always variables that can throw off even the best forecasts. That's why it's important to approach prediction with a healthy dose of skepticism.
When it comes to making predictions, one must consider both quantitative and qualitative factors. Quantitative analysis involves crunching numbers and looking for statistical patterns. This can be especially useful in fields like finance or sports betting.
On the other hand, qualitative analysis takes into account subjective factors such as human behavior or market sentiment. This type of analysis requires a deep understanding of psychology and social dynamics.
Combining these two approaches gives us a more comprehensive view of what might happen in the future. It allows us to identify potential risks and opportunities before they materialize.
Making accurate predictions requires continuous learning and adaptation. The world is constantly changing, which means our models and strategies need to evolve as well.
So whether you're trying to predict stock market movements or forecast consumer behavior, remember that no prediction is foolproof. But by utilizing sound methodologies and staying open-minded, you'll increase your chances of making some truly baddest predicts!
