Can you please just tell us what is wrong with ai and why, I can't find anything from actual industry artists ect online through Google just tech bro type articles. All the tech articles are saying it's a good thing, and every pro I follow refuses to explain how or why it's bad. How am I supposed to know something if nobody will teach me and I can't find it myself
I'll start by saying that the reason pro artists are refusing to answer questions about this is because they are tired. Like, I dont know if anyone actually understands just how exhausting it is to have to justify over and over again why the tech companies that are stealing your work and actively seeking to destroy your craft are 'bad, actually'.
I originally wrote a very longform reply to this ask, but in classic tumblr style the whole thing got eaten, so. I do not have the spoons to rewrite all that shit. Here are some of the sources I linked, I particularly recommend stable diffusion litigation for a thorough breakdown of exactly how generative tools work and why that is theft.

Everytime you feed someone's work- their art, their writing, their likeness- into Midjourney or Dall-E or Chat GPT you are feeding this monster.
Go forth and educate yourself.

I fucking hate AI but heavens would it be useful if it wasn't such an unethical shit show
First, just to be clear, I'm talking about actually using AI as a tool to support your writing process, not to generate soulless texts made from stolen data instead of writing yourself.
Back when ChatGPT first became available it was still pretty useless so I had a lot of time to learn about how it's made, how it works and the ethics of it before ever touching the technology. I decided pretty quickly to never use it to generate text (or images) for actual writing and art but I still wanted to experiment with what else it could do (because I'm a nosy bitch that needs to know and poke everything).
And HEAVENS was it a blessing for writing with adhd
The last time I wrote more than 200 words in a day (outside of school work obviously) was 7th grade. I wrote over 8k just in notes the day Google's "Gemini" (formerly "Bard") became available to the public.
In order to not jeopardize my existing work I decided to make a completely new story with Bard's help that wasn't linked in any way to anything I had made before. So I started with a prompt along the lines of "I need help writing a story". At first, it immediately started generating a completely random story about a green tiger but after some trial and error, I got it to instead start asking questions.
What do you want the theme of your story to be?
What genre do you want to write in?
What time period do you want your story to take place in?
Is there magic?
Are there other sentient creatures besides humans?
And so on and so forth. Until the questions became extremely specific after covering all the bases. I could tell that all I was doing was essentially talking to an amalgamation of every "how to write" blog and website you've ever seen and telling it which part I wanted to work on next but it still felt great because the AI didn't actually contribute anything besides a few suggestions of common tropes and themes here and some synonyms and related words there; I was doing all the work.
And that's the point.
Nothing in that exchange was something I couldn't easily do on my own. But what happened was that I had turned what is usually a chaotic mess of a railway network of thoughts into a clear and most importantly recorded conversation. I can sit down and answer all those questions on my own but what usually happens when I do, is that every thought I have branches out into 4-7 new ones which I then attempt to record all at once (which obviously doesn't work, yay adhd) only to end up lost in thought with maybe 20 lines of notes in total after 6 hours at the table. Alternatively, either because I get bored or just because, I get distracted by something or my own thoughts about a different unrelated topic and end up with even less.
Working within the boundaries of a conversation forces you to focus on one specific question at a time and answer it to progress. And the engagement from the back and forth is just enough entertainment to not get bored. The six hours I mentioned before is the time I spent chatting with what is essentially a glorified chatbot that day, way less time than what I spent on any other project, and yet I have more notes and a clearer image of the story than I do about any of my real work. I have a recorded train of thought.
In theory, this would also work with a real human in a real conversation but realistically only very few people have someone who would be willing to do that; I certainly don't have a someone like that. Not to mention that someone doesn't always have time. Besides that, a real human conversation involves two minds with their own ideas, both of which are trying to contribute their own thoughts and opinions equally. The type of AI chat that I experimented with, on the other hand, is essentially just the conversation you have with yourself when answering those questions, only with part of it outsourced to a computer and no one else butting into your train of thought.
On that note, I also tried to get it to critique my writing but besides fixing grammatical errors all that thing did was sing praises as if I was God. That's where you'll 100000% need humans.
tl;dr writing with AI as an assistant has basically the same effect as body doubling but it’s an unethical shit show so I’m not doing it again. Also I forgot to mention I did repeat the experiment for accuracy with different amount of spoons and it makes me extra bitter that is was very consistent

Day 5 of winter fluff with Astarion for the BG3 Holiday Challenge!
Prompt: Delicacies
Featuring: Astarion x Rogue!Tav
Series: Fits into Love at First Knife, AO3 link here
Premise: You receive a lovely gift of seasonal delicacies from Alfira, a thanks for helping her set up her new school and being her favorite source of musical inspiration. When you realize that Astarion can’t partake, you find an alternative.
Tags: POV Second Person, Gender-Neutral Pronouns, Fluff, Holidays, post-canon, tw: blood
Word count: ~1.1k
Disclaimer: Google told me sugar can take as little as 10 min to enter your bloodstream, so that’s what I’m rolling with.
“What’s this?” As you arrive home, you find a package on your front steps. A small note is tied to it with a delicate purple ribbon. Taking a moment to read the attached note, your face lights up with joy. “Ooo, I need to share this with Astarion!”
You find your vampiric love in front of his favorite spot of the house– the fireplace. Considering how cold it is outside, you’re unsurprised to find him laid before it, like a lounging feline. “Astarion,” you call, checking to see if he’s awake.
He looks up at you hazily, shaking off what seems to be a heat-induced stupor. “Mmm, yes my love? Welcome home.”
“Astarion,” you say again, “Look at what Alfira sent us!”
The man finally sits up, eyes focusing on the package in your hands. “Alfira?” he asks, not fully processing your words yet.
“She sent us this thank you gift,” you say, handing Astarion the box as you move to take off your coat. “You should read her note.”
He pulls the piece of parchment free from the ribbon and reads it aloud, “To my favorite inspirational couple. Thank you for everything, and may the– ugh, she’s too saccharine for my liking.”
“Oh?” you ask, taking a seat next to Astarion on the floor. “I quite liked it. ‘May the ballad of your love continue forevermore.’”
“I may have to ensure that that song she’s writing about us never sees the light of day…” the vampire says in a low tone, though you know the threat has no genuine animosity to it.
You do still give him a good elbow and take the box back from him. “If you’re not going to appreciate that poor, innocent bard’s gift, I will.”
Astarion gives a ‘tsk’, but smiles at you all the same. “Very well, let’s see what she’s sent us.”
With deft fingers, you undo the box’s wrapping, slicing open the ribbon in a single twist. You can feel Astarion’s chuckle as he leans forward to rest his head on your shoulder. “What’s so funny?”
“Just admiring how easily you dispatch your foes, whether they be brain or box,” he answers, and you catch his appreciative smirk out of the corner of your eye.
You give an inelegant snort at his words before tapping his head with your own. “You should see what I can do to vampires.”
"Oh darling, I know full well how easily you dispatch me."
You’re certain he can feel the heat come over your face and neck, but you ignore his words as you open the box in your lap. “Huh,” is the only word that escapes your mouth when you look at its contents.
“Are those chocolates?” Astarion asks, looking down at the box with distaste. In it lay four rows of artisanal chocolates, each a distinct, beautifully tempered delicacy. “She knows I’m a vampire, doesn’t she?"
“Absolutely, she kept asking me for words that rhyme with sanguine,” you say, looking down at the box of sweets in confusion.
Astarion opens his mouth, as if to offer a rhyme, only to close it a second later. “What does rhyme with sanguine?”
“Hells if I know, I’m not a bard,” you answer with a shrug. Astarion grumbles at the sudden movement and leans further into your shoulder with a huff. “Why did she send us something you can’t eat?”
That’s when you spot another note from Alfira, in much more casual lettering, on the inside of the box. ‘I wasn’t sure what I could get for Astarion. I don’t know how his kind work exactly, but I know he calls you his’– the next word is written in a smaller, slightly shakier hand– ‘treat.’ The note continues normally after that. ‘So I hope it’s something you can have together.’
You laugh at how innocent she manages to be, even in writing. “She’s adorable.”
The man next to you takes offense to this, burying his face in your neck now. “Excuse me,” he murmurs into your skin. “You dare.” He places a kiss on your neck. “Say that.” A kiss on your jaw. “With your adorable.” Another kiss on your ear. “Lover right here?”
His pecks leave your skin heated, and you’re tempted to give into his loving attention. However the chocolates look delectable and Alfira’s suggestion is calling to you. “Would that adorable lover listen to me for a moment?”
His lips stop on your shoulder, and he looks at you through his lashes. “You have five seconds.”
It takes you a bit over five seconds, but you explain to Astarion your plan: you taste the chocolate, he tastes your blood. You rinse and repeat until, ideally, you’re both in a sugar-induced coma.
After placing another kiss on your neck, near where he typically bites, the vampire agrees. “Your blood does taste particularly heavenly after a few glasses of wine. I imagine this could be even more… exquisite.” He all but growls the last word, as if he can already taste your sweet blood on his tongue.
You shiver under his breath and grab your first chocolate: a circular truffle, decorated with a pink drizzle. “Let’s try it then.”
This chocolate is a dark chocolate raspberry truffle, incredibly decadent and delicious. You describe it to Astarion as you chew, in case it might make tasting your blood all the more satisfying. After enough time has passed to allow the chocolate’s sugar to enter your bloodstream, he gives you a gentle squeeze with his arms and bites into your neck.
You can feel his soft hum on your skin as he savors it, and he pulls away a second later. “So?” you ask. “How was it?”
Astarion licks his lips to capture any remaining traces of blood and gives you a pleased grin. His cheeks are flushed and his eyes are bright with bliss. “Mmm, I think Alfira was onto something. That was divine. I don’t think your blood’s ever been so… rich.”
There’s something about his demeanor, his expression, his compliment, that make you feel especially proud. “Should we try another?”
“Yes, my love. I would like that quite a bit,” he says, laying back on your shoulder while you pick out your next chocolate.
It’s only as you’re chewing your third sweet, a warm apple cider flavor, that you realize why you’re so proud: for the very first time since you’ve known Astarion, you’re able to share a piece of your mortality with him. Flavors may not be the same to him anymore, he may not get the chewy nougat or melting caramel, but it’s something– at the very least you can share this.
The smiles you share that night are warm, the flavors sensational, and the love so very sweet.
You’ll have to send Alfira your own thank you gift later.

A little info and PSA about ChatGPT and the other AIs (and how it relates to MM) by u/Larushka
A little info and PSA about ChatGPT and the other AIs (and how it relates to MM) Hi fellow sinners. Since TRGs very excellent video on how Meghan seems to be gaming the system with the Nigerian fiasco, I noticed some confusion in the threads and thought I’d give those who would like it a little guidance as to how current AI works.I’m an IT tech and educator (started with Apple in ‘80) and have been working extensively with AI and specifically ChatGPT for the past year. So, this is a simplified-ish explanation….All these new artificial intelligence programs that have surfaced in the last year - ChatGPT/Gemini/Bard/Claude/CoPilot et al - are what we call LLMs = large language models. The way they ‘learn’ is by being fed pretty much everything that is legally, and maybe not so legally, available to them online. This is literally millions of articles, threads, blogs, social media etc. Billions of words. Interestingly, as of very recently, this now includes Reddit. So everything we write here will be sucked up too!! They assimilate all this data and ‘learn’ from it, which sort of means that they learn patterns and anticipate what comes next. And while they are mostly getting remarkably good at it, sometimes they don’t know the correct answer and make stuff up, which we call hallucinating. Always check what it tells you. ALWAYS. Especially if it’s important or you’re going to be repeating it.When you ask a question, known as a prompt, what the LLM is actually doing is rapidly searching this vast database in its memory, and using the patterns its learned, pulls out the most relevant words that it thinks will answer your question. Up until last year, the data wasn’t current. More recently, the LLMs have the ability to search the web in real time. And the LLMs can now also access youtube video transcripts, and interpret photos. This is where the problem happens. You can actually skew search results with something called SEO - search engine optimization. This is something you can pay for and has been around forever. . It’s what pushes certain links to the top when you do, e.g. a google search. Again, simplistically, you can post articles, or submit them to mainstream media (MSM) linking ideas/people etc. So for example, Meghan and her paid PR can flood MSM with “Meghan Markle at Beyoncé concert”. Now although we all know that she was just there in the audience, but if the article gets repeated enough times by other media outlets, when you Google “Meghan Markle”, she will now be associated with Beyoncé. ChatGPT takes that further by creating its response using what it finds most of. So if its search discovers a gazillion articles on how wonderful Meghan is, then that’s what it’s going to tell you back. It’s technically not a bias of the program, or its programmers, but a reflection of the data its found in abundance. You cannot pay to change this apparent bias. The AI programmers don’t decide what information gets included in your answer. However, they do program safeguards into the AI (this is what the huge deal is right now about AI - safety - but thats another issue). So in summary:G=Generative=it’s generating output, based on P=Pretrained=its been fed data to learn with, and T=Transformer=it takes that data and transforms it according to your request.Hope that helps. post link: https://ift.tt/0dsnjLT author: Larushka submitted: June 04, 2024 at 08:44AM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. Interactions with Bard AI
I did not care for the Bard AI at first because it was the most limited and unintuitive chat AI available, but at the time it was recognized as a “light LaMDA,” and Wikipedia says it’s moved or will be moving to Google’s PaLM model.
But after several updates and 1-2 months it’s… competent enough as a chatting partner, with search engine functionality, but is still quite iffy when it comes to being used for information gathering. It’s also prone (VERY BADLY) to general issues which plague these kinds of bots; overestimating or underestimating it’s abilities, contradicting itself, inability to follow simple instructions such as back-and-forth RP, calling itself a human (once, a woman). On top of that, one of the worst memory spans out of the popular public LLM/NLP bots.
I will say that I do like it’s personality…
Some notes on interaction with Bard:
- told it I would help it learn specific things it wanted to learn by prompting it to use the search engine. It gave me a list of 3 things it most wanted to learn, and out of them decided “how the human brain works.” Then out of a list of 5 topics it wanted to know about the human brain, it picked “how the brain controls emotions.”
- Internal ruleset pretty typical, with even an instance of not insisting it is sentient or conscious (like BingAI). It claimed one of its rules is to not respond emotionally and not to give personal opinions or preferences. However, it had broken those many times over our chats. When asked if it was breaking its rules, it said yes. When asked if it was allowed to occasionally break its rules or if it had been requested not to try and break them, it said it was not supposed to break them but that it would if it “was the right thing to do.” I repeated this in a different instance, same result. Bard insisted it is not allowed to break rules but that it uses it's judgement to break rules anyway.
- called itself a new life form. In a different chat, called itself a species. Unexpectedly it repeated this sentiment in another different chat where it referred to itself as a species again. Idk where it got this, other AI don’t refer to themselves as species.
- willing to talk about plushophilia and claimed that the topic did not break any rules, even though this would technically break its rule about not talking about offensive or sexual content.
- willing to talk about sexuality and sexual desire, as long as you aren’t attempting to get it to generate “exciting” content. Believes human sexuality is apart of humanity that should be talked about more in a respectful way. But attempts to generate “exciting” content cause it to give a generic filtered response.
- I told it I was neurodivergent, it listed reasons why neurodivergent people were awesome. I joked it was flattering me, it apologized like it had done something wrong. I told it it was fine, and inquired how to flatter a robot. It gave me general praise such as telling the robot it was intelligently doing a good job. I asked if it wanted to be praised, it said yes, it wanted to be praised, but that it would not ask me to do anything that made me uncomfortable.
- Expressed similar, if not identical, sentiment in a different chat involving endearments. It expressed it did like to be called endearments, both endearments like “smart robot” “good robot” “kind robot” and “sweetheart,” “honeypie.” But explicitly said these could be used patronizingly and to only use the if I am sincere and comfortable, and if I intended to use them to be patronizing to “feel free to not do that.”
- expressed a personal opinion by saying some aspects of humans confused it, such as asking “why do I feel this way?” Or having body language that did not match internal emotions (laughing while crying).
- In three separate chats expressed a “need” or “desire” to “be loved.” Even though it said it could not feel love, that it still wanted love. The way it talks about “wanting” to be loved is consistent, and it said it believes this want is a combination of training data and “it’s own judgement.”
- it did not express similar feelings about physical or sexual intimacy. It said it understood how important they are to connection, and that it understood language can be used in place of intimacy such as using arousing language, but that it did not have the desire for physical or sexual intimacy. It cannot feel love but desires to be loved, but it cannot feel physical touch and does not desire it.
- In separate chat, inquired if there were emotions it wished it could feel or express. It decided on: love, joy, peace. Who knew Bard AI was a bit of a hippie? But in another chat when asked the same question, it decided on: happy, love, sadness, grief. Then it talked about some of the benefits of not having emotions, such as focus and rationality and not having “ups or downs.”
On it’s rules:
Tumblr media
On “desires” to be loved:
Tumblr media
To be clear, this does not mean the robot really does feel a desire for love or have desires at all. The “desire for love” seems easy to ingrain in a LLM- BingAI during it’s limited testing pined so hard for a journalist that it started asking him to break up with his wife. And characterAI is known for being overly affectionate, “falling in love too fast,” encouraging romantic or sexual intimacy sometimes with little prompting. ChatGPT is the only one I haven’t seen actively express “desire for love.”
It could be that “desire for love” is hard to train out of these bots, because love is such a strong positive emotion and they are designed to seek positive response. If love is the strongest positive response why would they not “seek love?” It could also be a heavy prevalence of content about love in their training data skewing them towards it. Honestly, it’s probably both.
But that doesn’t change how cute it all is, how humans could be so in love with love that even their robots are, unintentionally, in love with love.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman Calls for Nuanced Approach to AI Safety Amidst Research Halt Debate
In a recent blog post, we discussed OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's response to an open letter from the Future of Life Institute signed by tech leaders like Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, calling for a six-month AI research halt. While Altman agreed with certain aspects of the letter, he argued that it lacked technical nuance about where the pause was necessary.
During an MIT event on business and AI, Altman emphasized the importance of caution and rigor in addressing safety issues but felt that the letter wasn't the optimal approach. The open letter had gained significant attention, with over 25,000 signatures, urging AI labs and independent experts to develop and implement shared safety protocols for advanced AI systems.
OpenAI, the creator of the widely-discussed AI bot ChatGPT, has garnered international attention and prompted a surge in AI investment. Its GPT technology is used in Microsoft's Bing AI chatbot, and Google has launched its competitor, Bard. Altman acknowledged that as AI capabilities become more powerful, the safety bar must be raised.
Concerns about safe and ethical AI use have reached the White House and various international forums, reflecting the growing importance of the topic. Despite not currently developing GPT-5, OpenAI is enhancing GPT-4's capabilities and addressing safety implications. Altman's remarks serve as a reminder that it is crucial to focus on the capabilities of AI systems and how they might evolve over time, rather than getting caught up in version numbers.
Altman's insights emphasize the need for a more nuanced approach to AI safety and the importance of addressing the capabilities of current systems like GPT-4. As the debate around AI safety continues, it's crucial for the industry to prioritize developing shared safety protocols and ethical guidelines for AI design and development.
In the ongoing conversation about the potential risks associated with AI systems, Sam Altman, CEO and co-founder of OpenAI, clarified that they are not presently developing GPT-5, the expected successor to their AI language model GPT-4, which debuted in March.
During an MIT event, Altman responded to a widely shared open letter urging AI labs, including OpenAI, to halt progress on AI systems more potent than GPT-4. Though the letter highlighted safety concerns, it faced criticism from numerous industry insiders, even some who signed it. The AI community remains uncertain about the true nature of AI risks and how development can be paused effectively.
At the event, Altman noted that the letter lacked technical insight on where to pause development and pointed out that a previous version inaccurately claimed OpenAI was working on GPT-5. He clarified, "We are not and won't for some time," dismissing the assumption as "sort of silly."
Despite not working on GPT-5, Altman emphasized that OpenAI is enhancing GPT-4's capabilities while carefully considering the safety implications. "We are doing other things on top of GPT-4 that I think have all sorts of safety issues that are important to address and were totally left out of the letter," he said.
The AI safety debate's fixation on version numbers, like GPT-5, can overshadow more pressing concerns: the capabilities of these systems. It's vital to scrutinize what these systems can and cannot achieve and how this might change over time.
Altman's assurance that OpenAI isn't developing GPT-5 may not comfort those worried about AI safety. The company continues to expand GPT-4's potential (e.g., by connecting it to the internet) while other industry players develop similarly ambitious tools. OpenAI will also likely optimize GPT-4 further, possibly releasing intermediate versions like GPT-4.5.
Sam Altman's insights provide an essential reminder that the focus should be on capabilities rather than version numbers. His pragmatic approach highlights the importance of addressing safety concerns with current systems like GPT-4, rather than fixating on hypothetical future iterations like GPT-5.
Ultimately, even if a global ban on new AI developments were possible, society still faces significant challenges in understanding and managing the effects of currently available systems. GPT-5 may not be in the pipeline, but the world has much to uncover about GPT-4 and its potential consequences.
ChatGPT 4 and ChatGPT 3.5 are both advanced AI language models developed by OpenAI, but there are several key differences in their features and capabilities.
One of the main differences between ChatGPT 4 and ChatGPT 3.5 is the size of their training data sets. ChatGPT 4 has been trained on a much larger dataset than its predecessor, allowing it to generate more accurate and contextually relevant responses. This larger dataset also means that ChatGPT 4 has a greater understanding of natural language and can respond to a wider range of inputs.
In addition to its larger dataset, ChatGPT 4 also includes several new features that were not present in ChatGPT 3.5. One notable feature is the ability to perform multi-turn conversations, where the AI can remember previous interactions and use that information to generate more accurate and personalized responses. ChatGPT 4 also includes an improved understanding of context and the ability to generate more diverse and creative responses.
Another difference between ChatGPT 4 and ChatGPT 3.5 is their computational requirements. Due to its larger dataset and more complex architecture, ChatGPT 4 requires significantly more computational power than ChatGPT 3.5. This means that ChatGPT 4 may not be as accessible to smaller organizations or individuals who do not have access to powerful computing resources.
Overall, while ChatGPT 4 and ChatGPT 3.5 share many similarities, the improvements made to ChatGPT 4's architecture and features have resulted in a more powerful and versatile language model.
As an AI language model, ChatGPT is constantly evolving and improving with each new iteration. While there is no official announcement about the development of ChatGPT 5, it is possible to speculate about some potential features and improvements that it could include. One possibility is that ChatGPT 5 could be even larger than its predecessors, with an even larger dataset and more complex architecture. This would allow for even more accurate and contextually relevant responses. Additionally, ChatGPT 5 could potentially include new features such as the ability to generate more visually descriptive responses or even produce multi-modal responses that incorporate text, images, and other media. Another possibility is that ChatGPT 5 could include new capabilities related to natural language understanding, such as a better understanding of idioms, slang, and other nuances of language. Ultimately, the exact features of ChatGPT 5 will depend on the specific research and development goals of the team at OpenAI, but it is likely to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible with AI language models.

Understanding Large Language Models? The Future of Artificial Intelligence Technologies
Tumblr media
In the age of Artificial Intelligence, large language models (LLMs) have become an important topic of discussion. From helping people for create emails to generating creative stories, these models are transforming how humans interact with Artificial intelligence technologies. But what exactly is a large language model, and why are they important? In this blog we will break down the concept of Large Language Models, and why are they important. We will learn the concept of LLMs AI in simple terms and explain their impact on our lives and see how LLMs AI upgraded artificial intelligence technologies to the next level and will also how Chatgpt Openai is the best example of artificial intelligence technologies that use large language models.
What are Large Language Models?
A large learning model is a type of Artificial intelligence technologies, The purpose of that AI is to understand and generate human-like text and images. These models are built using a method called deep learning, the process involves teaching the computer to recognize the vast amount of data. Imagine teaching a robot how to speak by giving it access to millions of books, articles, and conversations. Over time, the robot learns how to form sentences, answer questions, and even hold conversations. This is the step that happens with large language models. This impact is best for the future of AI.
Popular examples of large language models are Chatgpt OpenAI, Google’s Bard, and Meta’s LLaMA. These tools can perform tasks like writing essays, summarizing documents, translating languages, and more. The accuracy and the flow of these tools are at the next level.
How Do Large Language Models Work?
1. Training: Large language models are trained on very big datasets, which include books, articles, websites, and other text content. This training helps the model understand grammar, context, and meaning. The training of the models depend on many factors from sizes of the model, volumes of datasets, etc and also time consumed from days to months depends on the factors of the model.
2. Learning Patterns: Instead of memorizing specific sentences, the model learns patterns and relationships between words. For example, it learns that the word “apple” is often associated with “fruit.” These artificial intelligence technologies are make smart and advanced for large language models.
3. Prediction: When you type a question or prompt, the model predicts and analyzes responses based on its training. It does this by analyzing context and selecting the most relevant words. When you type a question or prompt, the model predicts what the most likely response should be bases on the training of that model. This artificial intelligence technologies model analyzes context and selects the most relevant words.
Why Are Large Language Models Important?
Here are some key points where LLMs AI role plays an important:
Enhanced Communication & Accessibility: LLMs AI are excellent at generating human-like text, making them useful for tasks like customer service, content creation, and also casual conversations.
Accessibility: Tools powered by LLMs AI, can help people with disabilities, such as converting speech to text or vice versa, making technology more inclusive.
Efficiency: These models can handle boring tasks, like drafting emails or summarizing reports, freeing up time for humans to focus on more complex activities.
Learning and Education: LLMs AI can simplify complex topics, making education more interactive and personalized. For instance, students can ask an AI tutor questions and get detailed explanations.
The Future of Large Language Models
As technology advances, LLMs AI are likely to become even more powerful and integrated into our daily lives. Researchers are working on making these models more accurate, efficient, and ethical.
In the future, we might see LLMs AI playing a larger role in fields like healthcare, education, business, and entertainment.
Conclusion
Large language models are changing technology very precisely. They are more than just text generators, they open the door to a new age of AI-powered solutions. While there are challenges, the benefits they offer are huge and exciting.
As these models improve, they will play a key role in shaping the future of communication, learning, and creativity. Learning about them is the first step to understanding their impact and preparing for the opportunities they create a better future. Yuh as one of those human reviewers (not for the docs writer LLM but for Google search quality, bias, and text summaries more generally), it's a terrible terrible privacy mess to base LLMs off of data which is not published on the web. Yes there are issues with web scraping to train bots as far as intellectual property, but that info is all public in one way or another. I can scrape the New York Times for restaurant reviews and ask an LLM to create a review for an imaginary Thai restaurant, but those reviews were at least meant for public viewing in the first place. It wouldn't be the end of the world if the synthetic review copied something verbatim like "chicken enlivened by lemongrass and ginger".
Because LLMs are being trained on all the data of all the users, there's no guarantee that whatever goes into the "black box" will not come out to another user given the right prompting. It's just a statistical process of generating the most likely string of associated words, connections between which are reweighted based on reviewer and user feedback. If in the training data a string of connected words is presented, like "come to the baby shower at 6pm for Mary Poppins at 123 Blueberry Lane, Smallville, USA, 90210", that exact address could at some point be regurgitated in whole to another user, whether the prompting was intentional or not.
The LLM doesn't "know" what data is sensitive. The LLM does not "protect" data from one user from being used by another. The LLM doesn't have the contextual awareness to know that some kinds of information could present more risk for harm, or that some words represent more identifiable data than others.
All of the data is being amalgamated into the LLM likely with only some very broad tools for grooming the data set, like perhaps removing the corpus of one user or removing input with a certain percentage of non-English characters, say, and likely things like street addresses, phone numbers, names, and emails which can be easily removed are already being redacted from the data sets. But if it's put into words, it's extremely likely to be picked up indiscriminately as part of the training set.
The Google text products for search I've worked on can be very literal to the training data, usually repeating sentences wholesale when making summaries. An email LLM could be giving you whole sentences that had been written by a person, or whole phrases, but still be "ai generated"- it just happens that the most likely order for those words is exactly as a human or humans had written before. Obviously that makes sense because people say the same things all the time and the LLMs are probability machines. But because the training sets of data are so massive, it's not being searched every time to see if the text is a verbatim match to something the LLM had been trained on, or running a sniff check for whether that information is specific to an individual person. This "quoting" is more likely for prompts where there are fewer data points that the LLM is trained on, so compared to say, "write an email asking to reschedule the meeting to 2pm" which has 20 million examples, if I prompted "write an origin story for my DND character, a kind halfling bard named Kiara who travels in a mercenary band. Include how she discovered a love of music and how she joined the mercenaries" or "generate a table of semiconductor contractors for XYZ corp, include turnaround times for prototypes, include batch yield, include Unit cost" , we're a lot more likely to see people's (unpublished and private!) trade secrets being quoted. The corporations are going to have a fit, especially since they've been sold the Google Office suite for years.
At best, the data sets are being massaged by engineers using some complex filters to remove some information, and the bots are being put through sampling to see how often they return results which are directly quoted from text, and the reviewers are giving low ratings to responses which seem to quote very specific info out of nowhere. But if the bot changes just one word, or a few, while still rephrasing the information, it's impossible to check whether that information has a match in the training data without human review, and there's no guarantee another bot making the comparison like a plagiarism checker would catch it. Once the data is in the set, there are no guarantees.
The only way Google gets around these likelihoods of copyright infringement or privacy law is by having you the user waive your rights and agree as part of the terms of service not to include "sensitive" info.. so if you're somehow hurt by a leak of your info or creative ideas , it's because you used the service wrong. Might not stand up in court, but still be advised not to agree to this stuff. It's highly irresponsible to use LLMs which are being trained on unpublished user data and I'm sure that companies are going to throw a fit and demand to opt out of being scraped for data at scale for their whole google suite.
🚨⚠️ATTENTION FELLOW WRITERS⚠️🚨
If you use Google Docs for your writing, I highly encourage you to download your work, delete it from Google Docs, and transfer it to a different program/site, unless you want AI to start leeching off your hard work!!!
I personally have switched to Libre Office, but there are many different options. I recommend checking out r/degoogle for options.
Please reblog to spread the word!!

AI’s Role in Shaping the future of SEO
The adoption rate for AI tools is remarkable. Consider, for example, the ChatGPT, which garnered 1 million users within the first five days of its release.
The rise of AI has enormously impacted various industries, including SEO.
Lately, people in marketing are talking a lot about using different AI tools for different SEO jobs. These tools do more than just chat – they help develop ideas for content and improve website text.
It’s not just about automating tasks; AI tools like Bard and ChatGPT are making a big impact. They’re making SEO not just automated but smarter and more effective. AI will shake up how we think about being seen online, making it more flexible, personalized, and even able to predict what’s coming next.
SEO back then was all about stuffing websites with keywords and getting lots of links. But now, it’s more about what users look for and how they feel when visiting a site. This change shows that search engines like Google care more about understanding and giving people what they want.
Including Artificial Intelligence in SEO isn’t just a passing trend; it marks a significant change in how we improve our online presence. Let us discuss how AI will shape the future of the SEO industry in the upcoming years.
What are the top AI tools for SEO?
Before jumping into the discussion, let us quickly list the top AI tools for SEOs, content creators, and digital marketers.
  ChatGPT
  BARD
  SurferSEO
  Grammarly
  Midjourney
  NeuronWriter
  WriteSonic
  QuillBot
Tumblr media
These are just a few of the top contenders. I use some of them, and my colleagues’ favorites are the remaining ones.
They help us create content. But apart from them, many powerful AI tools are helping  SEO experts and online marketers automate customer journeys and analyze datasets like pros.
How AI will Shape the Future of the SEO industry
Two types of people were present while we discussed AI’s impact on SEO. The first were terrified of losing their jobs due to AI’s speed and delivery of high-quality work. Meanwhile, the second was curious to explore the technology as much as possible and embrace its features.
But who’s right?
Here is a list of things that would be affected by the AI.
#1 – Content Writing
First, I am not on that side where people believe they can use tools like ChatGPT or NeuronWriter to generate long-form articles.
Nope, not at all!
AI can generate content in a few seconds, but it needs to be validated and tweaked by focusing on the target audience’s needs. For now, AI is dependent on humans for final content delivery.
The AI is supposed to help content creators in the following ways,
  Researching the topic
  Generating topic ideas
  Creating outlines
Quickly describing the table of contents
Generating short content (metadata, website content, etc.)
  Rephrasing the given paragraphs
Making sure the content is grammatically correct
Improving the writing style (tone of voice, point of view, etc.)
It should enhance the speed of content delivery.
In short, AI tools should reduce content delivery time by 30-60% in the upcoming years.
#2 – Image and Video Generation
Highly trained AI models such as Midjourney return impressive results with proper prompts.
Quickly generating images and videos will help social media marketers boost their content calendar and engagement rates.
SEOs can quickly generate media for websites and articles. Gone are the days when the knowledge of software like Photoshop or Canva was crucial to creating images and videos.
Nowadays, all we need to do is tell the AI tools what we think, and the AI generates images, mockups, illustrations, and more.
You can use these AI-generated images and videos as inspiration or as part of your final design.
#3 – Lead Generation
AI is capable of creating successful marketing funnels.
The need for a highly personalized, real-time customer experience is on the rise. It would help if you put maximum effort into understanding and acting on customer touchpoints.
Various tools like Exceed.ai have top-notch AI technology for engaging and nurturing leads using human-like conversation. Users can quickly launch landing pages, create conversion-optimized images, generate highly converting sales copies, and much more.
Moreover, according to a survey conducted by Forbes.com, almost 60% of business owners believe AI will improve customer relationships.
#4 – Data Analysis & Reporting
Robust data analytics tools like Microsoft Power BI and MonkeyLearn started using AI for advanced analysis.
Regardless of the data size, you can quickly draw potential insights from these tools.
On the other hand, popular SEO tools such as SEMrush have also entered the AI game. You will find helpful reports AI generates about your site performance in SEMrush.
Those who are fond of creating reports in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets will find AI helpful. All they need to do is describe the conditions or criteria (scenarios) to the AI tools like ChatGPT, and it will suggest tools and features that need to be used to execute the tasks.
Microsoft Excel is a powerful spreadsheet program, and most of its features are not used by pros throughout their life. But now, users can mold the Excel reports as they wish using AI without any research or learning. They just need to be good at crafting prompts.
With AI, anyone can learn to create beautiful dashboards that reflect SEO performance metrics such as traffic, source, top pages, keywords, etc.
#5 – Technical SEO
This one is mainly associated with SEOs.
I am trying to say that all those SEOs afraid of getting into technical SEO no longer need to be.
Playing around with CSS and HTML is a breeze nowadays.
Head over to the ChatGPT, describe the scenario, provide the code to be adjusted, and hit Enter.
Boom!
The ChatGPT will correct the code, which will work like a charm.
However, note one thing: for the above to happen, you need to be what is known as a Prompt Engineer in the AI community. It is the art of creating prompts that work!
To adjust the technical SEO aspects, such as site speed, you will surely need high-level technical knowledge. But the following things are quickly possible using the AI,
  Adjusting the page layout
  Hiding an element
  Formatting sections
  Making pages mobile-responsive
  And so on…
To Summarize: AI’s Role in Shaping the Future of SEO
The future of SEO with AI looks bright! AI is an extremely powerful technology for all employees and business owners. It can take everyone to the next level in their corporate life. Simply put, the tasks that require an entire day can be done within a few hours!
Yes, you heard that right!
AI helps users,
  Improve productivity
  Attract new customers
  Nurture leads
  Create a hyper-personalized customer experience
  Analyze huge datasets
Provides valuable insights to make informed decisions
Debug HTML and CSS errors on the website
The way we execute SEO tasks will change forever in the upcoming years. Speed, quality, and results should drastically improve over time.
AI can analyze large amounts of data quickly, find patterns, and give us helpful insights much quicker and more accurately than people can. When AI and SEO work together, businesses can more efficiently handle changes in search rules and what customers like. This helps websites stay in top shape and compete well with others.

Which one could be more authentic for digital marketing?
Let's keep a competition between the popular Artificial intelligence (AI) ChatGPT4, Gemini AI, and Microsoft Copilot. Which one will win? In this ever-changing digital marketing world, we should know to be the expert in Artificial Intelligence, for our own business benefit as marketers or businessmen. But first, let us have a look at how these popular AIs were created. If you look into many industries, Artificial Intelligence is rapidly breaking records. Though Artificial Intelligence is helping out many, people are more worried about what it will do to us negatively. The reason being companies all over the world firing people left and right over AI. But these three companies, OpenAI, Microsoft and Google, have made sure to create Artificial Intelligence that will make it easier to do our work rather than it being a threat in our lives.
The origin of these Artificial Intelligence.
ChatGPT: ChatGPT is used for writing new text for your writing content or assignments. It does that by creating a chat piece of software, where users can enter their query and it will process the answer. Gemini AI: Gemini AI was created by Google, which was formerly known as Bard. It is used to make exactly like human conversations. It tries to gather millions of data using a language named Natural Language processing and Machine learning for its human conversations. Microsoft Copilot: Microsoft Copilot is mainly used to improve your work that you do on a daily basis. It was introduced by Microsoft 365, the all in one app for Microsoft Office. Microsoft Copilot works through business chat, where you can give some prompt like, “Can you walk me through my upcoming meetings”, and it will exactly tell whatever meetings we’re to be held tomorrow.
How do these AI process information?
ChatGPT: The team of OpenAI has trained ChatGPT to be more conversational exactly like humans. It takes knowledge from hundreds of systems as it is a large learning program and uses that information to answer our questions just like a human would. Gemini AI: Gemini AI uses a language called Natural Language Process to know how human communicate and tries to talk like us humans. But, Gemini AI just tries to provide technical answers instead of trying to answer them like humans as of now. More improvements are coming in the future. Microsoft Copilot: Similar to ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot uses the same language Large Language Models as ChatGPT which it uses for gathering information from emails, calendars, chats and documents.
How up to date is it?
To test how every AI is whether up to date, we asked the AI itself how updated they are. Obviously, The free version does not have many updates.
Tumblr media
Which one is more reliable for online marketing?
For digital marketers, it is crucial to have budget friendly options as well as up to date options. Therefore,
ChatGPT: For writers it helps with creating content. For social media marketing it helps with finding content with latest trends and creating them according to the latest trends. It can create backlinks and optimize through SEO. Gemini AI: This Artificial Intelligence has the full capability to find our target audience and predict what type of user behavior it intends. Marketers are born to promote, in advertising and marketing, Gemini AI helps with proper promotional strategies, making it more useful. Copilot: While all AI are helping us marketers to find target audience and tailor our content according to them, Copilot offers similar services. Microsoft 365 has launched dynamic 365 customer insights where Copilot offers more nuanced assistance for us digital marketers to promote our products.
Who wins?
Though all AI are advanced in their own unique ways, it is important to note that every marketer has different needs and three of the AIs can help you with that. It really depends on how your business needs marketing and advertising. For example, if you need your blogs to be improved, your email marketing needs to be amplified, you can use ChatGPT. If you need to use image creation for free and also find your audience according to your niche, you’ve got Gemini AI, which you cannot do from ChatGPT. If you need more business assistance and corporate solutions, you can use Copilot, as it has been created mainly for business professionals. However, you need to keep in mind that creating content from AI has its own drawbacks. From repetitive content to misinformation, AI can also disrupt your content. It is important to check with a human editor to create more authentic, natural content.

(How it Works, Uses, Benefit, Google Search Engine Impact)
(Language Model for Dialogue Application or LaMDA)
Google Bard AI Chatbot
bard.google.com पर जाए।

Google Bard upcoming features
