Josh is your typical college kid maybe even a little nerdier. He majored in video game development and is a part of the gaming club at school he really didn’t take part in any social life. He was very average-looking, not too skinny but not too fat. Of course, he has some pudge around him One day while waking to his character design class he noticed a new flyer on the bulletin board
“Love video games? Want to earn cash? Come join our trail of Beta testers”
Josh loved the idea as he continued reading. It did pay pretty well and would provide all accommodations during the duration of the trial. He decides to take the pamphlet and heads to his apartment pondering if he is going to do it or not.
The next day Josh ends up driving to the address. Some big office parks with multiple buildings. “WAG” said the sign out front. He remembered seeing this developer when taking his Indie gaming class last semester. “We Are Gaming” is what the company was called and they specialized in virtual reality games and development. Josh was excited to see what project he would be helping in.
As he walked into the building he went to the front desk.
“Hello I’m here to be a part of the beta testing program,” Josh asked the receptionist
“Hello, please fill out the form on the iPad and one of our specialists will assist you momentarily”
Josh grabbed the iPad and started to fill out the questionnaire. It had all the reasonable questions you might think Until he got to the end
“What the fuck” Josh winced as the questions got more personal. Cock size, sexuality, perceived popularity. Josh decided to answer as he didn’t want to get disqualified and entered the form. Not that long after a man in what seemed like a doctor's uniform comes out from a secure door
“Hello, you must be Josh. My name is Doctor Houston. I’m the head of the VR department. Please follow me” Houston had a very stern voice with a seriousness that he did not want to mess around.
As he started to follow Dr.Houston Josh asked questions “Wow so you have a Ph.D. in gaming or computer science?”
Dr. Houston chuckled before answering “No, I have a MD in Internal medicine. WRG hired me to head the VR department as they want to see the reactions the body takes to long-term virtual reality gaming
and here we are” He finished saying as he opened a room to some sort of laboratory containing a monitor, sleek white gaming equipment and some sport of large computer. On the other side a window looking into what seemed to be a control room
As Josh walks in he hears a door close and lock
“Hey, what’s going on” he screams while banging at the door. After a moment he notices dr Houston walk into the control room across the room and sit down at a desk facing the main room.
Over the speaker “Dear Josh, I will be monitoring your experience from over here. Please strap onto the center platform near the screen so we can start”
Josh felt like this program was more of a medical drug trial and video game testing but decided to continue with what the doctor said anyway. As he walked up to the platform he put his two feet on the conveniently designated spots and looked at the screen as it turned on.
“Welcome player to your new life”
wait new life what did it mean by that. Before Josh could react clamps came out of the ground and attached to his feet holding him in place
“Hey what’s the meaning of this” he screamed
“Please stay calm as we proceed,” the doctor said over the speaker
Large laser pointers came from the side of the computer. “Beginning digitization” the computer screen announced
“Wait what?? What’s happening”
Slowly two beams from the computer started to travel up his body as everything it touched slowly disintegrated
“AHHHHH FUCK IT BURNS STOP IT STOP IT PLEASE” Josh pleated to the computer and the doctor or anyone that would notice
As the computer continued up his body in a burning pain he noticed on the screen a complete 1 to 1 replica of himself
.. wait no not a replica that was him

The computer finally made it up to his head as he pleaded one last time “PLEASE I DON'T WAN
..” He was caught off as his head was completely overwhelmed by the lights
Suddenly Josh regained consciousness but now he is in some white room with nothing around. He then hears a noise
“Customization available

. Character template chooses
 JOCK

.. PROCEEDING MODIFICATIONS”
“What is happening stop this” Josh screamed but no one was around to hear him as his clothes completely vanished out of nowhere.
Slowly his body started to change to correspond to the data inside the computer
First Josh's feet grew from his regular size 9s to a huge size 14 which would be making noise anytime he walked anywhere. As the changes traveled upwards his calfs and leg muscles grew. His thighs ended up looking like watermelons and could easily break one if he wanted to between the two.
“Oh fuckkkkkkkkkk” Josh moaned as the changes continued
His cock and balls were next to change as his penis started to pull outwards slowly inching from a 6
.7
.8

.9

10 and finally ending at a huge size 11 which would make anyone fucked with It limp for days. His ball felt sore as they grew to baseballs filled with cum ready to fill and breed. The last touch to his groin area was the re-growth of his foreskin and ended with a continues leaky cock.
The changes moved to his torso as his abs started to chisel themselves one by one making a road all the way to the growing mountains that were his pecs. His chest looked like it was being inflated and his pecs were the Mount Everest of the range with a pointed nipple which faced downwards due to the muscle growth onto of his pecs.
“Ughh please make it stop
” Josh moaned as the changes continued
Next, his arms grew with his biceps growing to the size of footballs and his hands matching to be able to palm and grab any ball he wanted. The next set of changes started to settle in as hair started to grow across his body. His armpits started to burst out with hairs so thick that even when he put his arms down they would spew from the sizes. Next hair started to travel across his chest and legs thinking and giving him a nice rug that accentuated his already defined muscles. Lastly, but most importantly his bush started to grow more and more from his groin. Anytime of pants or underwear won’t be able to cover the spillage that will be coming over the top of them.
Josh was in a dazed state as the changes started to subside and finish up. He didn’t know how to feel
. Horny? Confused? Scared? Everything seemed so different as he started to hear the voice again.
“MODIFICATIONS COMPLETE
.. STANDARD JOCK REGISTERED

 NAME: CHRIS HERNANDEZ
 REGISTERED”
Tumblr media
Wait that wasn’t his name why would it say that was someone entering all of this
“GAME WILL BEGIN MOMENTARILY
 PLEASE HOLD”
Soon everything went black and it felt like Josh fell asleep.
“Oh god
. where am I” Josh woke up in what seemed to be a house much different to his one. It felt almost generated. Against his will, Josh got up from his bed and started to move to the kitchen where his body made a protein-heavy breakfast.
“Omg stop why can’t I control my body what is happening,” Josh thought in his mind completely scared of what was going on. Unbeknownst to him outside the computer his body was being fully controlled by someone on the outside.
After eating the breakfast his body immediately got up and started to walk to a new room filled with gym equipment. “Oh god no,” Josh thought.. His body started to go through an intensive workout against his will.
Tumblr media
by the end of it he was completely exhausted with the last bits of energy he had he was able to take control for a moment and scream out
“HELP IM STUCK” . . .
“Um Doctor, there seems to be an issue,” the voice said
“What seems to be the problem?”
“The character said something weird
“Help, Im stuck” in like screaming pattern” he responded
“Ahh that’s strange don’t worry about that. We can fix that in the next patch. Might just be grabbing from some unused text files. Thank you for pointing it out” The doctor replied as he walked away taking notes and smirking
Josh was now completely trapped inside WRG new game “US” a life simulation game where gamers can be anyone their dreams can be. Unluckily for Josh, he was stuck being the complete opposite of his original self. Now is a template of a stereotypical jock for those who are too lazy to create their own characters in the game.
.
.
I hope you all enjoy. This was a story swap with @axeegliter. Check out their story and blog!

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Dockworkers at ports from Maine to Texas began walking picket lines early Tuesday in a strike over wages and automation that could reignite inflation and cause shortages of goods if it goes on more than a few weeks.
The contract between the ports and about 45,000 members of the International Longshoremen’s Association expired at midnight, and even though progress was reported in talks on Monday, the workers went on strike. The strike affecting 36 ports is the first by the union since 1977.
Workers began picketing at the Port of Philadelphia shortly after midnight, walking in a circle at a rail crossing outside the port and chanting “No work without a fair contract.”
The union had message boards on the side of a truck reading: “Automation Hurts Families: ILA Stands For Job Protection.”
Local ILA president Boise Butler said workers want a fair contract that doesn’t allow automation of their jobs.
Shipping companies made billions during the pandemic by charging high prices, he said. “Now we want them to pay back. They’re going to pay back,” Butler said.
He said the union will strike for as long as it needs to get a fair deal, and it has leverage over the companies.
“This is not something that you start and you stop,” he said. “We’re not weak,” he added, pointing to the union’s importance to the nation’s economy
At Port Houston, at least 50 workers started picketing around midnight local time carrying signs saying “No Work Without a Fair Contract.”
The U.S. Maritime Alliance, which represents the ports, said Monday evening that both sides had moved off of their previous wage offers. But no deal was reached.
The union’s opening offer in the talks was for a 77% pay raise over the six-year life of the contract, with President Harold Daggett saying it’s necessary to make up for inflation and years of small raises. ILA members make a base salary of about $81,000 per year, but some can pull in over $200,000 annually with large amounts of overtime.
But Monday evening, the alliance said it had increased its offer to 50% raises over six years, and it pledged to keep limits on automation in place from the old contract. The union wants a complete ban on automation. It wasn’t clear just how far apart both sides are.
“We are hopeful that this could allow us to fully resume collective bargaining around the other outstanding issues in an effort to reach an agreement,” the alliance statement said.
In a statement early Tuesday, the union said it rejected the alliance’s latest proposal because it “fell far short of what ILA rank-and-file members are demanding in wages and protections against automation.” The two sides had not held formal negotiations since June.
“We are prepared to fight as long as necessary, to stay out on strike for whatever period of time it takes, to get the wages and protections against automation our ILA members deserve,” Daggett said in the statement. “They must now meet our demands for this strike to end.”
The alliance said its offer tripled employer contributions to retirement plans and strengthened health care options.
Supply chain experts say consumers won’t see an immediate impact from the strike because most retailers stocked up on goods, moving ahead shipments of holiday gift items.
But if it goes more than a few weeks, a work stoppage would significantly snarl the nation’s supply chain, potentially leading to higher prices and delays in goods reaching households and businesses.
If drawn out, the strike will force businesses to pay shippers for delays and cause some goods to arrive late for peak holiday shopping season — potentially impacting delivery of anything from toys or artificial Christmas trees to cars, coffee and fruit.
The strike will likely have an almost immediate impact on supplies of perishable imports like bananas, for example. The ports affected by the strike handle 3.8 million metric tons of bananas each year, or 75% of the nation’s supply, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation.
It also could snarl exports from East Coast ports and create traffic jams at ports on the West Coast, where workers are represented by a different union. Railroads say they can ramp up to carry more freight from the West Coast, but analysts say they can’t move enough to make up for the closed Eastern ports.
“If the strikes go ahead, they will cause enormous delays across the supply chain, a ripple effect which will no doubt roll into 2025 and cause chaos across the industry,” noted Jay Dhokia, founder of supply chain management and logistics firm Pro3PL.
J.P. Morgan estimated that a strike that shuts down East and Gulf coast ports could cost the economy $3.8 billion to $4.5 billion per day, with some of that recovered over time after normal operations resume.
The strike comes just weeks before the presidential election and could become a factor if there are shortages. Retailers, auto parts suppliers and produce importers had hoped for a settlement or that President Joe Biden would intervene and end the strike using the Taft-Hartley Act, which allows him to seek an 80-day cooling off period.
But during an exchange with reporters on Sunday, Biden, who has worked to court union votes for Democrats, said “no” when asked if he planned to intervene in the potential work stoppage.
A White House official said Monday that at Biden’s direction, the administration has been in regular communication with the ILA and the alliance to keep the negotiations moving forward. The president directed Chief of Staff Jeff Zients and National Economic Council Director Lael Brainard to convene the alliance’s board members Monday afternoon and urge them to resolve the dispute fairly and quickly — in a way that accounts for the success of shipping companies in recent years and contributions of union workers.

Power: a Rhea Ripley x Bloodline fanfic.
Tumblr media
Chapter One: Preface
Demi Bennett sat quietly on a plush lounger, her body sinking into the soft cushions as she stared out over the glimmering Houston skyline. The city stretched out before her, bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun. The gentle hum of the city below was a nice image to the storm raging inside her. She held the freshly signed contract in her hand—her official appointment as WWE’s Executive Writer—her ticket to continue on shaping the future of the company, to carving her name in the annals of wrestling history.
A smile tugged at her lips, though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. She should have been celebrating, but the weight of what this new role meant pulled her under. It wasn’t just the expectations or the pressure of continuing the success she'd already brought to the Bloodline storyline. It was him. Joe. Roman Reigns, the face of WWE, the man who commanded arenas with his presence, and the man who, even now, consumed her thoughts.
Their relationship was a secret—a dangerous one. A year of stolen moments, whispered confessions, and the ever-present risk of everything falling apart. Now, with this new position, the stakes were even higher. Corporate policy be damned, she couldn’t stay away from him, and Joe made sure she wouldn’t want to.
But that wasn’t the only thing weighing heavy on her mind. There was the proposition—the one that lingered between them, unspoken since the night he first brought it up a month ago. The idea of being shared, intimately, with him and the rest of the Bloodline. It was more than a fantasy. To Joe, it was a bond, a symbol of unity and trust. But for Demi, it was a crossroads. Was she willing to step that far into his world, into their world?
Her fingers traced the edge of the contract, eyes still locked on the horizon. Houston was beautiful tonight. But beauty had a way of distracting from the things that mattered most, and right now, Demi wasn’t sure what mattered more—her career, or the man waiting for her in the shadows.
Demi sat in the her hotel room, the dim light casting shadows across the polished table as she placed the contract next to her wine glass. She took a slow sip, savoring the deep, velvety taste of the red wine, but her mind wasn’t on the rich flavors. It was on the document she now held in her hand—the proposition Joe had put before her, the one she had been avoiding since he first mentioned it. Now, it was real, in black and white, and staring her down.
Her eyes skimmed over the words, her pulse quickening as she read each line with growing intensity.
Dominant/Submissive Arrangement
Dominants: Leati Joseph Anoa’i, Jonathan Solofa Fatu, Joshua Samuel Fatu, Joseph Yokozuna Fatu. Submissive: Demi Bennett.
The names felt heavy on the page, each representing a pillar of the Bloodline, men who commanded the WWE ring and now, potentially, her submission. Demi took another sip of wine, trying to steady herself as she read further.
Preface: “A Dominant/submissive relationship requires faithful submission from the sub and loving guidance from the Dom
”
Her heart raced, and she exhaled, remembering the way Joe had explained it to her, how he had framed this not just as a sexual agreement but as an act of trust—complete and unwavering.
“This type of arrangement is more lenient than a Master/slave power exchange
”
Her eyes lingered on the next few lines, absorbing the weight of what this meant. There were limits, she had the right to say no, to set boundaries. Yet, this wasn’t just some casual proposition. It was about relinquishing control, handing over pieces of herself to men who already dominated so much of her professional world.
Demi leaned back in her chair, taking a deep breath. The idea of being under Joe's control was thrilling in a way she couldn’t quite explain, but bringing Jonathan, Joshua, and Joseph into the mix—sharing herself with the Bloodline—was a completely different reality. Could she trust them like she trusted Joe? Could she open herself up in ways that were still unknown to her, all while maintaining her position of power within WWE?
She looked back down at the contract.
Limits: “The Submissive will have limits and safe words, which essentially gives her power over play
”
The power to stop things. The power to set boundaries. But the reality was, if she stepped into this world, there would be moments where she would have to give up control. Demi’s hand hovered over the list of limits, her mind swirling with questions she hadn’t allowed herself to ask.
Could she say no to Joe? Could she draw a line if things became too intense? Would he respect it? Would the others?
Demi closed her eyes, feeling the weight of the proposition settle deep in her chest. She had always craved power, but this was different. This was about vulnerability, trust, and submitting in ways she had never considered.
Another sip of wine, another glance at the document.
Could she do this?
She wasn’t sure, but as she stared at Joe’s name, and the names of his cousins, a shiver of anticipation ran down her spine. Part of her wanted to say yes, to step into this new, thrilling world. But another part of her hesitated, wondering if crossing this line would change everything—not just with Joe, but with her career, her future.
She set the contract down, exhaling deeply. The city lights twinkled in the distance, but for the first time in a long time, she wasn’t looking outward. This decision would come from deep within her, and she wasn’t sure where it would lead.
All she knew was that the world of control and submission, of trust and power, was about to pull her in. And once she stepped over that line, there might be no going back.
Demi flipped through the contract, her fingers brushing the smooth edges of the pages. As she came to the section detailing limits, her breath caught for a moment. This part of the arrangement was where she had the most power, where she could retain control even while submitting.
Her eyes scanned the page.
Safe words and signals. The following words or signals will be used to stop play immediately:
Cease.
Tears of the Submissive.
Demi paused, the bluntness of the words sending a wave of vulnerability through her. Tears? The very idea made her stomach twist. Joe had warned her that emotions would run deep in this kind of dynamic, but seeing it spelled out like this was something else entirely. She could picture the intensity of those moments—the line between pleasure and pain, control and surrender—where her only recourse would be a single word or the physical act of crying.
Her hand rested on the page as she thought about what other signals would be used. This wasn’t just about her physical limits; this was about knowing when to pull back, when things became too overwhelming. The contract offered her the chance to define how far she was willing to go, and she needed to be clear about it.
The following words or signals will be used to mean “slow down” or “I’m approaching my limit”:
Demi grabbed a pen from the table and started thinking of words that felt natural to her, words that would signal to Joe—and the others—when things were getting too intense but she wasn’t ready to stop completely.
She hesitated for a moment, her mind racing. Then she wrote:
“Enough.”
A raised hand.
“Wait.”
Simple but clear, something she knew she could say or do even in the heat of the moment. It would give her time to breathe, to gather herself, and communicate that she needed a break without halting everything. It wasn’t just about stopping; it was about finding her limits without crossing them entirely.
Demi sat back and looked at the words she had written. They felt
right. They gave her room to navigate this new world she was stepping into. A part of her felt relieved—there was a structure, boundaries to protect her—but another part of her still felt the weight of uncertainty.
Could she trust herself to enforce these limits when the moment came? Could she trust Joe and the others to respect them?
She glanced at the clock, realizing how much time had passed. The city lights outside had dimmed, replaced by the soft glow of nightfall. This decision, this contract—it wasn’t something to be taken lightly. And yet, as she looked at her own handwriting, at the carefully crafted limits and safe words, she felt an odd sense of calm.
Setting the pen down, she took another long sip of wine. The warmth spread through her, and she knew the decision wasn’t just about control or submission—it was about trust. Trusting herself, trusting Joe, and trusting that the path ahead, as uncertain as it was, held something deeper than just physical intimacy. It was a bond unlike any she had ever known, a leap into the unknown.
Demi’s fingers trembled slightly as she flipped to the next page, revealing a section titled Benefits. She knew the proposition came with more than just emotional and physical submission, but seeing the material rewards laid out in such terms made it feel all the more real.
Her eyes widened as she scanned the list:
Benefits of the Arrangement:
Four thousand dollar salary from each Dominant, deposited on the first of the month.
Two thousand dollar monthly lingerie stipend for the Submissive, to be used as she sees fit.
All doctor and healthy woman visits covered, ensuring the Submissive’s physical and mental well-being.
Luxury of first-class plane tickets for any travel relating to the Dominants or the Submissive’s personal and professional business.
A private beach house in Samoa, exclusively for the Submissive’s use all year round, fully stocked and maintained.
Demi's breath hitched as she read through the list, each line more lavish than the last. Four thousand dollars from each of them? That meant sixteen thousand a month—money that seemed almost absurd for an arrangement like this. And a lingerie stipend? She hadn’t even considered how deeply Joe and the others planned to immerse her into their world, but the idea that they would choose what she wore—even when they weren’t there—made the back of her neck tingle.
The beach house in Samoa
Demi closed her eyes for a moment, imagining the warm ocean breeze, the soft sands under her feet. She had never been to Samoa, but Joe spoke of it with such reverence, such passion. A piece of paradise, just for her. It felt like a dream, one so far removed from the life she had known. A beach house that symbolized freedom but was tied to her submission.
Demi swallowed hard, her thoughts spinning. This arrangement wasn’t just about control or physical submission—it was about luxury, excess, a life completely entwined with the men who had already taken over the wrestling world. Now, they wanted her as part of their personal lives, bound not only by contracts but by desire.
The financial rewards alone were staggering, but the added benefits—the health care, the first-class flights, the lingerie—those things felt like pieces of a life she hadn’t even known she could have. A life filled with opulence and the protection of four powerful men.
But with all of that luxury came responsibility—submission. The cost of those benefits wasn’t just monetary. It was giving herself over to them, allowing them into her mind, her body, her life. Could she live with that? Would she thrive in a world where everything she wore, every trip she took, and every moment of intimacy was crafted by their desires?
Her mind raced as she took another long sip of wine, letting the alcohol dull the edge of her thoughts. The proposition was intoxicating, like the glass of red in her hand—rich, alluring, and slightly dangerous. And the idea of being lavished in this way, of being adored and controlled, was something she couldn’t shake from her mind.
She leaned back, staring at the ceiling, the contract still heavy in her hand. How could something so enticing also feel so overwhelming? How could she reconcile the woman she had become—driven, ambitious, a power player in WWE corporate—with the woman this contract would ask her to be?
For now, the answers eluded her. All she knew was that Joe and the others were offering her something more than money and luxury. They were offering her a world where her submission was power, where her limits and boundaries were respected, and where she was cherished in ways few could understand.
But at what cost?
Demi's head was spinning. The warmth from the wine was creeping into her thoughts, making it hard to focus. She needed time—time to process what this truly meant.
For the first time in a long time, Demi wasn’t sure whether she was being seduced by the idea of submission
or by the life of luxury that came with it.
Demi's heart was racing as she turned the page. The next section was clearly labeled Personal Demands, and she felt a mix of apprehension and curiosity as she read through the terms laid out before her.
Personal Demands:
The Dominants require that the Submissive get on the only approved birth control submitted by The Dominants: the Nexaplanon.
The Submissive, once the contract is signed, will report to The Head Dominant, Mr. Anoa'i, on when to get her birth control inserted.
Once birth control is in effect, the Submissive will be able to engage in barebacking with all Dominants as stated in said contract.
Demi’s breath caught in her throat as she processed each line. The mention of birth control sent a jolt through her system. The Nexaplanon—a long-acting contraceptive implant—wasn’t just a casual request; it was a demand. The implication of it made her pulse quicken. They wanted her to ensure that their intimate encounters could be unprotected, that there would be no barriers between them.
A rush of emotions flooded her mind. On one hand, it was a sign of trust—a trust that Joe and the others felt towards her and a commitment that they envisioned a deeper connection. But on the other hand, it felt like a weighty expectation, a loss of control over a significant aspect of her body.
She imagined reporting to Joe, telling him when she would go in for the insertion, relinquishing yet another layer of autonomy to him and the other Dominants. Demi chewed her lip, thinking about what that would entail. Was she ready to open herself up in that way? To allow them not only into her life but also into her very being, unprotected and raw?
The idea of “barebacking” sent another shiver down her spine. It was an exhilarating thought, but also a daunting one. This arrangement was shifting rapidly from a business transaction to something profoundly intimate and personal.
Demi had always been careful about her body and who she allowed into her life, but this—this was a whole new level. It wasn’t just about pleasure; it was about the potential for life, for connection that could tie her to them in ways she had never considered. The thought of carrying a piece of them inside her, of intertwining their futures in such a permanent way, was both intoxicating and terrifying.
She set the contract down again, her heart racing as she processed what she had just read. Did she truly understand the implications of this arrangement? Could she handle the vulnerability that came with such a deep level of intimacy?
Demi felt her chest tighten with anxiety as she considered the decision before her. She had built a successful career on her own terms, but now she was standing at a crossroads—one that could change everything. The allure of a powerful partnership was tantalizing, but the responsibilities and expectations that came with it felt... liberating?
Demi sighed heavily, feeling the weight of the decision settle onto her shoulders. She looked down at the final page of the contract, her heart pounding in her chest as she read through the stipulations. It was clear that the moment she signed, everything would change.
The line waited for her signature, taunting her with the promise of a new life, a new identity. But along with that promise came a set of expectations that made her stomach churn.
When the Submissive signs her name, the Submissive will call the Head Dominant and inform him of her choice. The Submissive will then have seventy-two hours to obtain and comply with the following rules and the following items:
Hair styled tightly curly. Any piercings removed. The specific clothing and lingerie for the first Dominant. Intimate areas waxed bare. Artificial nails, if any, are to be removed.
Her breath caught in her throat as she processed each requirement. Hair styled curly? She often wore it straight or tied back in a bun for practicality, but this felt like a transformation. It felt intimate, like she was preparing for something deeply personal.
Removing her piercings? Demi felt a pang of discomfort at that thought. Each piercing was a part of her, an expression of her individuality. But in this world, they would be stripped away as if to signify her complete submission to the Dominants.
The specific clothing and lingerie for the first Dominant felt daunting as well. She had always enjoyed choosing what to wear, feeling empowered by her choices. But now, someone else would dictate that for her. The idea of being adorned by another’s taste made her feel exposed and vulnerable, both thrilling and terrifying.
And the waxing? Demi felt a flush of embarrassment wash over her. The very act of baring herself, of preparing her body to be completely vulnerable, sent a shiver down her spine. It was an act of submission in its most physical form, laying bare her body to those who would claim it.
Finally, the removal of her artificial nails—something that had become a part of her daily routine, a way to express herself—was another symbol of her impending transformation. The thought of letting go of those pieces of herself felt like an erasure, a stepping stone into a new version of her life that she wasn’t quite sure she was ready to embrace.
Demi took a deep breath, her heart racing as she hovered over the signature line. Each moment of hesitation was filled with doubt and fear, but also with an undeniable thrill. This was her choice—one that would propel her into a new realm of possibility. She could feel the excitement coursing through her veins, a pulse that seemed to echo the potential of the life ahead.
With a trembling hand, she signed her name, the pen scratching against the paper like the final note of a song. As she finished, the weight of the decision crashed over her, and she immediately felt the surge of both exhilaration and apprehension.
The moment she signed, a flood of emotions surged through her. She would need to call Joe and inform him of her choice—something that felt monumental. It was no longer just a contract; it was a commitment. She was stepping into a world where trust, vulnerability, and intimacy intertwined in a way she had never experienced before.
Demi stared at the signed contract, her heart racing as the reality of her choice settled in. She knew she had seventy-two hours to prepare for the demands that lay ahead, and every rule felt like a thread pulling her deeper into the fabric of their lives.
With a mixture of excitement and trepidation, she reached for her phone, the device feeling heavier than usual in her hand. She was about to call Joe, the Head Dominant, and share her choice with him, and with that call, everything would shift.
As she dialed his number, she took a deep breath, her heart pounding. There was no turning back now. The life she had known was fading into the background, and ahead of her lay the unknown—a world of passion, trust, and perhaps a love deeper than she could imagine.
Demi’s heart raced as she listened to the ringing on the other end of the line. Each tone seemed to echo her mounting anxiety, her thoughts swirling with anticipation. Would he be pleased? Would he understand the weight of her decision?
Finally, the call connected, and she heard Joe’s familiar voice on the other end, deep and steady. “Hello?”
“Hey, it’s me,” Demi said, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Demi! I was just thinking about you. How are you?” There was warmth in his tone, and it made her heart flutter.
Taking a deep breath, she steadied herself. “I’m good, but I
I’ve got something important to tell you.”
There was a pause on the other end, and she could almost feel the curiosity radiating from him. “Okay, what’s going on?”
She clenched her hand around her phone, gathering her courage. “I read the contract. I’ve thought about it a lot, and
 I’ve decided to sign it.”
Silence enveloped the call for a moment, and Demi’s heart dropped. Had she made a mistake? But then she heard Joe let out a breath, and the warmth returned to his voice. “Really? You’re serious?”
“Yes, I’m serious,” she replied, her own excitement bubbling beneath the surface. “I signed it just now. I’m ready for this.”
“Demi, that’s
amazing. I’m so proud of you,” Joe said, his voice filled with genuine enthusiasm. “This is a big step, and it means a lot to me that you’re willing to trust us.”
The sincerity in his words sent a rush of warmth through her, and she felt her tension begin to ease. “It’s a lot to take in, Joe. There are rules, and I have to prepare in the next seventy-two hours
 it’s a huge change.”
“I know it is,” he replied, his tone softening. “But remember, you’re not alone in this. We’re all in this together. I promise to make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way.”
Demi felt her heart swell at his reassurance. “I just
I want to do this right. I want to be what you all need, but I also want to maintain my sense of self.”
“Demi, your identity is important to us. This arrangement doesn’t change who you are; it enhances what we can build together,” he said. “We’re not taking anything away from you. We’re creating a space where you can feel free and safe to explore what you want.”
His words resonated with her, and she felt a flicker of hope igniting within her. “Thank you, Joe. That means a lot to me.”
“Now, I need you to call me back once you’ve had everything set up. I’ll be here for anything you need, and the first color for the lingerie and clothing is red.” he continued, a hint of excitement in his voice. “And let’s discuss the specifics once you’re ready.”
Demi’s smile widened. “Okay. I’ll get everything sorted and keep you posted. I just hope I’m ready for all of this.”
“You are,” he assured her firmly. “Just be yourself, and everything else will fall into place. I’ll talk to you soon, Demi.”
“Talk soon,” she replied, her heart racing as she hung up the call.
Demi took a moment to breathe, feeling the thrill of her decision wash over her. She was stepping into a world filled with promise, intimacy, and the chance to explore her deepest desires—all with Joe and the rest of the Bloodline. The path ahead felt daunting, but she also felt an undeniable pull toward the adventure that awaited her.
With renewed determination, Demi began to formulate a plan in her mind. She would tackle each requirement one by one. She’d schedule her appointment for the Nexaplanon, arrange for her hair to be styled, pick out the right clothes and lingerie, and take care of the more intimate grooming.
The hours ahead would be filled with preparations, but they would also be filled with excitement. This was the beginning of something profound, something that could change everything.
As she stood at the threshold of this new life, Demi couldn’t shake the feeling that she was finally ready to embrace her desires, her submission, and the love that awaited her in the arms of the Bloodline.
--
As Demi settled into the plush couch, the atmosphere in the penthouse shifted from initial introductions to a more serious tone. Joe leaned forward, his demeanor commanding yet inviting, his presence emanating authority.
“Demi, now that you’re officially part of this arrangement, we want to make sure you understand each of our individual preferences and kinks,” he began, his dark eyes locking onto hers. “This is about mutual trust and understanding, so let’s get into the specifics.”
Demi nodded, her heart racing with both excitement and nervousness. She felt as if she were stepping into an intricate dance, each step crucial to the performance they were about to undertake.
“First and foremost,” Joe continued, “you need to know that I value control above all else. My color is black. I want you to wear black for me whenever we’re together. It signifies submission and strength—two things I deeply admire in you.”
He paused, gauging her reaction, and she felt a rush of warmth at his words. “Your hair should be styled in a sleek, polished look—something that exudes elegance. And as for lingerie, I prefer lace—something that hints at seduction without revealing everything. You’ll call me ‘Sir’ when we’re in the dynamic. It establishes the boundary between our personal lives and this.”
Demi took mental notes, captivated by the intensity of Joe’s gaze. “Got it. Black, sleek hair, lace lingerie, and ‘Sir’.”
Joe smiled approvingly before shifting his attention to Jonathan, who leaned forward with a mischievous glint in his eye. “Now, for me, it’s all about hardcore bondage and penetration,” he declared, his tone playful yet serious. “My color is red. I want you in red whenever we engage in our dynamic—it’s passionate and assertive, just like what I enjoy.”
Demi felt a thrill at the idea of wearing red for him. “And for my hair?” she asked, eager to learn more.
“Think wild and untamed,” Jonathan replied, grinning. “Loose waves that fall over your shoulders. For lingerie, I want something that emphasizes your curves—perhaps a strappy bra with matching panties. And when you’re with me, you’ll call me ‘Master.’ It’s a term that embodies the trust and surrender that’s crucial in our arrangement.”
“Understood. Red, loose waves, strappy lingerie, and ‘Master,’” she repeated, her pulse quickening as she embraced the expectations.
Joseph took his turn, his demeanor softer but no less intense. “I have a particular kink for begging,” he admitted, a hint of playfulness in his tone. “My color is purple. When you wear purple, it signifies a yearning and an eagerness to please. I want you to be comfortable, but I also want to see you crave my attention.”
Demi felt a warmth spread through her at the thought. “What about hair and lingerie?” she asked, wanting to ensure she covered all the details.
“For your hair, keep it wavy. It should look effortless, as if you’re ready to be adored,” he said. “Lingerie should be soft and delicate—think silk and sheer fabrics. Call me ‘Daddy’ when we’re in our dynamic. It keeps things personal yet acknowledges our arrangement.”
“Purple, wavy, delicate lingerie, and ‘Daddy.’ Got it,” she said, taking it all in.
Finally, Joshua leaned in, his expression earnest. “For me, it’s about pleasing the submissive,” he explained, his tone soothing. “My color is blue. I want to see you in calming shades of blue when we’re together—think of the tranquility that comes with submission.”
Demi nodded, intrigued. “And my hair?”
“Keep it simple yet elegant—maybe a loose braid or a ponytail, something that shows off your neck,” Joshua suggested. “As for lingerie, I prefer comfort over extravagance—a simple but alluring set that makes you feel good. You’ll call me ‘Baby’ in our dynamic. It keeps things friendly while still respecting the boundaries.”
“Blue, loose braid or ponytail, comfortable lingerie, and ‘Baby.’” She smiled, feeling the camaraderie building among them.
As the conversation unfolded, Demi felt the initial tension dissolve, replaced by a sense of shared understanding. Each Dominant had their own preferences and kinks, but there was an undercurrent of respect and trust that wove them together.
Joe interjected, “Remember, Demi, while we each have our kinks and colors, your comfort and limits are paramount. If something doesn’t sit right with you, we can adjust.”
Demi felt a wave of gratitude wash over her. “I appreciate that. I want to make this work for all of us.”
Jonathan smirked. “We’re going to have a lot of fun, Demi. Just wait.”
As the conversation flowed, the atmosphere in the penthouse became increasingly intimate, layered with a mixture of curiosity and tension. The Dominants shared their preferences, but there was also an underlying current of playfulness that drew Demi in deeper.
Joe leaned back in his seat, arms crossed, observing Demi intently. “Now that you know our colors and kinks, let’s talk about how you feel about them. Is there anything that stands out to you?”
Demi took a moment to collect her thoughts, feeling the weight of their gazes upon her. “I find it fascinating how each of you has such distinct preferences. It’s like a spectrum of experiences, and I want to explore all of it,” she admitted, her voice steady despite the flutter of nerves.
“Exploration is key,” Joseph chimed in. “The beauty of this arrangement is that it’s not just about submission; it’s about discovery. We want you to explore what brings you pleasure as well.”
“Exactly,” Joshua added, nodding in agreement. “We’re here to create an environment where you feel empowered to express your desires. Don’t shy away from what you want, Demi.”
Demi felt a swell of confidence at their words. “I appreciate that. I’m excited to see where this goes, but I also want to make sure I maintain my own boundaries.”
Joe’s expression softened, and he leaned forward slightly. “That’s crucial. We’ll establish safe words and signals, but I want you to know that if anything feels off, you have the right to pause or stop.”
Jonathan smirked, a glint of mischief in his eyes. “And trust me, we’ll make it worth your while to explore those boundaries. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of finding your limits.”
Demi could feel her cheeks warming at the implication, but she was also intrigued. “What do you mean by that?” she asked, genuinely curious.
“Boundaries are meant to be tested, within reason,” Joe replied, his voice smooth. “There’s a dance to this arrangement, and sometimes it’s about pushing those limits just enough to see how far you can go while still feeling safe.”
“Think of it as a journey,” Jonathan added, his tone serious now. “You’ll learn more about yourself through each experience. It’s not just about us; it’s about you discovering what you truly want.”
Joshua interjected, “And if you ever feel uncomfortable, we’ll back off immediately. Consent and trust are paramount. But I can assure you, when you let yourself go, it can be incredibly liberating.”
Demi felt a rush of excitement mixed with apprehension. The prospect of exploring her own limits, paired with the security of their commitments, sent butterflies racing through her stomach. “I like the idea of a journey. I want to be able to explore and learn from all of you.”
“Then we’ll make it happen,” Joe affirmed, his eyes intense. “But let’s lay down a few ground rules to ensure we’re all on the same page.”
The atmosphere shifted slightly, the lighthearted banter giving way to a more serious tone. Joe began outlining their expectations, his voice firm yet reassuring. “First, always be honest about your feelings. If something is bothering you, I need you to communicate that openly. It’s essential for trust.”
Jonathan nodded. “And remember to use your safe words. They’re your power in this dynamic. If you say ‘cease’ or show any sign of discomfort, everything stops—no questions asked.”
Joseph added, “We’ll have regular check-ins, too. After each session, we’ll talk about what worked, what didn’t, and what you’d like to explore next. It’s important that you feel supported every step of the way.”
Demi felt the weight of their words settle in, a comforting realization that this wasn’t just a one-sided arrangement. They were dedicated to ensuring her comfort and growth. “That sounds fair,” she replied, her tone earnest.
Joshua leaned closer, his voice low and inviting. “And never underestimate the power of pleasure, Demi. It can be a great motivator for submission. We want to give you everything you desire while guiding you in this exploration.”
A shiver of anticipation ran down her spine as she contemplated the path ahead. “What if I don’t know what I want at first?” she asked, a hint of vulnerability creeping into her voice.
“Then we’ll help you discover it,” Joe reassured her, a gentle smile breaking his serious facade. “Every experience is a lesson. Some might surprise you, others may not resonate, and that’s perfectly okay.”
Demi nodded, her heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and apprehension. “I appreciate that. I’m ready to embark on this journey, even if it’s a little daunting.”
Jonathan grinned, his playful demeanor returning. “Daunting is part of the fun! Embrace it.”
Joe’s expression turned serious again. “Remember, Demi, you’re not alone in this. We’re here as a unit. Your submission doesn’t mean you’re powerless; it means you’re choosing to trust us with that power.”
As they continued to discuss the intricacies of their dynamic, Demi found herself feeling more at ease. Each of the Dominants brought their unique energy to the table, and she was intrigued by how their preferences intertwined.
There was a sense of unity in their approach, a shared commitment to nurturing her exploration while ensuring her comfort. The penthouse felt charged with potential, each word weaving a tapestry of connection and anticipation.
As the conversation wound down, Joe glanced around at the group. “Let’s end this meeting by discussing our first session. We want to make it memorable for you, Demi.”
Demi’s pulse quickened at the thought. “What do you have in mind?”
“We want to create an experience that encapsulates all our kinks,” Jonathan said, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. “Something that highlights our strengths while allowing you to explore.”
“Think of it as an initiation,” Joe added, his tone smooth. “A way for you to step into this new role while being surrounded by us, your Dominants.”
Demi could feel the excitement coursing through her veins. “I’m ready for it,” she declared, a newfound confidence bubbling to the surface.
“Then let’s make it unforgettable,” Joshua said, a smirk playing on his lips.
As Joe's lips brushed against Demi’s forehead, a warmth spread through her, grounding her amidst the flutter of anticipation and nerves. “I love you,” he whispered softly, his deep voice a reassuring anchor before he turned to follow Joshua and Joseph out of the penthouse.
Demi felt a mixture of excitement and trepidation as the door clicked shut behind them, leaving her alone with Jonathan. The atmosphere shifted subtly, tension crackling in the air like electricity. Jonathan leaned back in his chair, a sly grin spreading across his face.
“Are you ready for your first lesson, Demi?” he asked, his tone playful yet serious, his eyes glinting with mischief.
“I think so,” she replied, her voice steady, though her heart raced. “What do you have planned?”
Jonathan stood up, stretching his limbs and commanding the space with an air of confidence. “Tonight is all about boundaries and trust. I want you to feel comfortable exploring your limits, but first, we need to establish the rules for our time together.”
Demi nodded, taking a deep breath to steady herself. “Okay. What do I need to know?”
“First and foremost, you’ll need to remember your safe words.” Jonathan moved closer, his presence dominating the space. “We’ve discussed them, but I want to ensure they’re fresh in your mind. Use ‘cease’ if you need to stop everything immediately, and if you feel you need to slow down, just say my safe word, 'adamant.’”
“I remember,” she assured him, her gaze unwavering.
“Good,” he said, a satisfied smile crossing his lips. “Now, as you’re wearing red, I want to see you embrace that color fully. It represents my intensity and the depth of our connection tonight.”
He gestured toward a nearby closet, opening the door to reveal an array of red lingerie, silks, and sheer fabrics. Demi felt her breath catch at the sight. “Choose something that makes you feel powerful and desirable.”
Demi approached the closet, her fingers brushing against the delicate fabrics as she considered her options. She settled on a deep crimson lace bodysuit that hugged her curves perfectly, the intricate design accentuating her figure. The thought of wearing it for Jonathan sent a thrill through her.
“Perfect choice,” Jonathan remarked as he watched her. “Now, let’s talk about your hair. I wanted it styled loosely, cascading down your shoulders. It adds to the allure.”
With a nod, Demi felt herself getting lost in the moment, imagining how the bodysuit would feel against her skin and how Jonathan would react to her transformation.
Once she was dressed, she used her fingers to run through her hair as he requested, letting the soft waves become more softer around her face. As she turned to face him, she saw Jonathan’s eyes darken with approval. “You look stunning, Demi.”
“Thank you,” she replied, feeling a rush of confidence at his praise.
“Now, it’s time to delve into what you can expect tonight,” he said, his voice dropping to a low, seductive timbre. “I have a few kinks I’d like to explore, and I need you to trust me completely. My aim is to push your boundaries while ensuring you feel safe and respected.”
Demi nodded, feeling a shiver of anticipation run down her spine. “I trust you, Jonathan.”
“Good,” he replied, his eyes glinting with excitement. “First, we’re going to explore the idea of bondage. I want you to understand that it’s not just about restraint; it’s about trust and surrendering to the moment.”
He gestured to the corner of the room, where a plush set of cuffs and a bondage frame were set up. “I want you to experience what it feels like to be both vulnerable and empowered. I’ll guide you through it.”
Demi felt her heart race at the sight, but instead of fear, she felt exhilaration. “I’m ready.”
“Before we begin, let’s establish some limits,” he said, moving closer. “Tell me if there’s anything off the table for you.”
“I have a hard limit with anything involving blood or extreme pain,” she said firmly. “And I’m not comfortable with anything that feels demeaning or humiliating.”
“Understood,” Jonathan replied, his voice serious. “Those limits will be respected. Soft limits, however, we can discuss. Is there anything you’re curious about?”
“I’m willing to explore light bondage and the idea of power exchange, but I’m not sure how far I’m ready to go yet,” Demi admitted, feeling vulnerable but empowered by her honesty.
Jonathan smiled, pleased with her openness. “That’s a great starting point. We’ll take it slow, and I’ll be sure to check in with you as we go.”
With that, he moved to the bondage frame and picked up the cuffs. “Let’s start with something simple. I’ll cuff your wrists to the frame, but you’ll still have your freedom of movement in your body. If at any point you want to stop, just say your safe word, and I’ll release you.”
Demi nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness as Jonathan carefully secured her wrists. “You look beautiful like this,” he said, stepping back to admire her. “You’re safe with me, Demi.”
As he adjusted the cuffs to ensure her comfort, she felt the rush of adrenaline flood her system. “What now?” she asked, her heart pounding in anticipation.
“Now, you’ll learn to let go,” Jonathan said, his voice low and commanding. “Allow yourself to surrender to the sensations. Focus on your breathing. I’m here to guide you.”
Demi took a deep breath, the initial shock of being bound giving way to a sense of liberation. She focused on the sensations of the cuffs against her skin, the fabric of the bodysuit accentuating her awareness of every subtle touch.
Jonathan began to move around her, observing her reactions closely. “How are you feeling?” he asked, his voice low.
“I’m
nervous but excited,” she admitted, her voice slightly breathless.
“Good. Embrace that feeling,” he encouraged, stepping closer again. “I want you to feel every inch of this moment. I’ll be gentle, but I’m also going to push you, testing your limits just a bit. Are you ready?”
“Yes,” Demi replied, her voice firm, the thrill of the moment filling her with anticipation.
With a nod of approval, Jonathan began to explore the edges of their dynamic. He ran his fingers along her arms, tracing her skin gently, awakening her senses. The contrast of the light touches against the firm restraints heightened her awareness, and she felt herself leaning into the experience.
“Let’s see how responsive you are to touch,” Jonathan said, his voice a sultry whisper. “If you like something, let me know, and if it’s too much, use your safe word.”
As he continued, Jonathan began to incorporate a mix of caresses and teasing pinches, observing her reactions intently. Demi felt herself getting lost in the sensations, the world around her fading away as she surrendered to the moment.
“Feel the contrast,” he instructed. “Every touch is an invitation to explore. How does this make you feel?”
“Good
really good,” she replied, her breath quickening as she embraced the rush of emotions.
“Excellent,” he said, a satisfied smile crossing his lips. “You’re doing wonderfully. Just remember, I’m here to guide you, and you’re safe. Let yourself enjoy this.”
As Demi settled deeper into the rhythm of the session, Jonathan’s movements became more purposeful, his presence enveloping her like a warm blanket. The initial nervous energy she’d felt began to transform into a sense of liberation, and she was grateful for Jonathan’s steady guidance.
“Now, let’s explore a bit more,” Jonathan said, his voice low and sultry as he moved to the side table and retrieved an array of tools: a feather, a soft flogger, and a small paddle. Each item was carefully chosen, and Demi’s heart raced as she realized the levels of sensation he intended to introduce.
“First, we’ll start with the feather,” he explained, holding it up for her to see. The delicate plume fluttered softly in the air. “This will help you awaken your senses. I want you to focus on how it feels against your skin, to find pleasure in the lightest of touches.”
He approached her slowly, the feather trailing behind him like a promise. As he brushed it lightly against her arm, Demi gasped, the sensation both ticklish and electrifying. Jonathan watched her closely, a smirk playing on his lips as he observed her reactions.
“Do you see how sensitive you are?” he asked, his tone teasing yet affirming. “Let go of any inhibitions and embrace the sensations.”
Demi nodded, her breath hitching as he moved the feather across her collarbone, down the length of her torso, and along the curve of her hip. Each touch was deliberate, igniting a fire within her that she hadn’t anticipated. She squirmed against the restraints, the combination of the gentle strokes and her bound wrists heightening her awareness.
Jonathan leaned in closer, his breath warm against her ear. “Tell me how it feels,” he murmured, brushing the feather along her thighs, eliciting a shiver from her.
“It’s
amazing,” she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. “I can’t believe how much I’m enjoying this.”
“Good,” he said, satisfaction evident in his voice. He set the feather aside and picked up the soft flogger. “Now, let’s introduce a bit of contrast. The flogger will create a different sensation—one that’s more intense but still pleasurable.”
Demi felt a thrill of anticipation as Jonathan approached, his movements measured and deliberate. He positioned himself behind her, the flogger poised in his hand, and explained, “I’ll start with gentle taps, gradually increasing the intensity. Just focus on the sensations, and remember to breathe.”
With that, he began to deliver light strokes against her back, the soft thud of the flogger sending ripples of warmth through her body. Demi gasped at the first strike, the sensation more intense than she had anticipated but still igniting an exhilarating spark.
“Let yourself feel it,” he encouraged, his voice steady and soothing. “Each strike is an invitation to explore your own limits.”
As he continued, Jonathan gradually increased the pressure and frequency of the strikes, watching intently as Demi responded to each one. She felt her body surrendering to the rhythm, the initial shock giving way to a pleasurable heat that spread through her limbs.
“Your body is reacting beautifully,” he observed, a hint of pride in his voice. “You’re learning to embrace the sensations.”
“Thank you,” Demi gasped, feeling the heady mix of pleasure and pain dance along her spine. “It feels so good.”
“Now, let’s try something new,” Jonathan said, moving to retrieve the small paddle. “This will be a bit sharper in sensation, but I want you to trust me.”
He demonstrated a few light taps against the palm of his hand, the sound sharp and distinct. “I’ll start slow, but don’t hesitate to use your safe word if it becomes too much. Remember, this is about exploration and your comfort.”
Demi nodded, her heart racing with both excitement and a hint of nervousness. As he positioned himself behind her again, she felt the anticipation build within her.
With careful precision, Jonathan delivered the first tap of the paddle against her backside. The sound echoed in the room, and Demi felt a rush of warmth bloom at the point of impact, contrasting with the previous sensations.
“Breathe,” he instructed gently, his voice steady. “Focus on how the sensation reverberates through your body.”
With each successive strike, Demi leaned into the sensations, allowing herself to become fully immersed in the moment. The initial sharpness transformed into a deep warmth that spread through her core, awakening desires she hadn’t fully acknowledged before.
“Tell me how it feels,” Jonathan urged, his voice low and encouraging.
“It feels intense and thrilling,” Demi confessed, her breath hitching slightly. “I’m surprised by how much I like it.”
“That’s the beauty of exploring these limits,” he replied, a smile creeping onto his face. “You’re discovering parts of yourself that you may not have known existed.”
As the session progressed, Demi felt the bond of trust between them deepening. Jonathan guided her through the ebb and flow of pleasure, always attentive to her responses, ensuring she felt safe and respected.
Eventually, he paused, his hands resting on her shoulders as he leaned closer. “You’ve done incredibly well tonight, Demi. I want you to know that your limits are my top priority. You have the power to control this experience.”
“Thank you for being so understanding,” she replied, feeling a sense of gratitude wash over her. “I really appreciate how you’re guiding me through this.”
Jonathan smiled, his eyes softening. “It’s my pleasure. You’re a natural at this, and I’m excited to explore more together. But for tonight, let’s take a moment to unwind.”
With that, he gently released her wrists from the cuffs, allowing her to stretch and feel the freedom of movement once more. Demi took a deep breath, reveling in the afterglow of their session and the trust they had built together.
“Let’s talk about how you’re feeling,” Jonathan suggested, taking a seat beside her on the couch. “I want to hear your thoughts on tonight.”
Demi smiled, her heart full. “It was incredible. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you for being so attentive and respectful.”
“Of course. That’s what this is all about—trust and communication,” he replied. “I’m looking forward to our future sessions, and I can’t wait to see how you continue to grow.”
As they continued to talk, the dynamic of their relationship shifted once again, forging a deeper connection between Demi and Jonathan as they navigated this new territory together. The night had opened a door to an exciting exploration, and Demi felt ready to embrace whatever came next.

Excerpt from this story from Rolling Stone:
EARLIER THIS WEEK, the Copernicus Climate Change Service, a European Union-funded research group, announced that last Sunday, July 21, 2024, the daily global average temperature hit 62.76 degrees. It was the hottest day scientists have measured since 1940 — which officially makes it the hottest day ever recorded on Earth by humans. Twenty four hours later, however, Copernicus had to update its report: On Monday, the temperature climbed up to 62.87 degrees. As of now, July 22, 2024 is now the hottest day ever recorded.
But hey, it’s only Friday. Who knows what the weekend holds? Or the rest of the summer, for that matter.
Are you shocked by news of this record-breaking heat? Does the fact that you lived through two of the hottest days on Earth that scientists have ever recorded make you think differently about the risks and consequences of living on a rapidly-warming planet? Did you pause for a moment and think about the millions of people who sweat through this without air conditioning? Did you mourn the 396 deaths from heat that are under investigation this summer in Phoenix? Did you sell your car and buy an electric bike? Were you inspired to sign up to knock on doors to help Kamala Harris defeat the climate-hoax-pushing-criminal Donald Trump? Are you getting calls from your MAGA-loving uncle in Idaho apologizing for the long lecture he gave you at Thanksgiving last year about how Earth’s temperature moves in natural cycles, or about how higher levels of CO2 in the atmosphere is good because more CO2 makes crops and trees grow better?
Probably not.
The problem is not you. The problem is that a broken heat record is just another statistic. The story of the climate crisis is written in broken records that measure levels of CO2 pollution, glacial ice melt, rising sea levels, crop failure, megafires, the spread of diseases, heat deaths, wildfire and insurance costs, and economic losses. But if shocking data and broken records could galvanize people to take action on climate, we’d all be powering our iPhones with solar power from microgrids, and millions of cows and chickens would be liberated from factory farms. We’d have cities crowded with bike lanes and a high speed rail service between Dallas and Houston. We’d laugh at climate-hoaxing politicians and debate whether it is fair and just to charge Big Oil companies with criminally negligent homicide.

John Margolies (American, 1940-2016)
John Samuel Margolies was an architectural critic, photographer, and author who was noted for celebrating vernacular and novelty architecture in the United States, particularly those designed as roadside attractions. For almost forty years, he documented the most remarkable examples he found, publishing some of his discoveries in books and consigning the rest to an archive, which has now been purchased by the Library of Congress who, in a wonderfully gracious move, have lifted all copyright restrictions on the photographs. could you write a kerry von erich dating head cannon? i love your stuff
thank you friend! ❀
Kerry is literally the sweetest person alive. The biggest softest teddy bear with so many hidden qualities.
Kerry would know you from childhood and he probably would have fallen for you in 2nd grade and never let go.
All throughout school he would have been painfully shy around you if you had classes or interacted. He would admire you from afar, never quite able to get you out of his mind.
Once you and Kerry were in high school, he started to get a LOT of attention from girls, naturally. Like his brothers, he was a star athlete with great prospects. Still, he only ever really had eyes for you.
His brothers found out when they found his attempts at poetry in one of his notebooks addressed to you. As a joke, David took the poem and stuck it in your locker and signed Kerry’s name on it.
When Kerry found out, his heart stopped. He figured he would have to move out of the state rather than ever face you again.
You knew Kerry and his family and always thought they were kind, but you never would have guessed homecoming king Kerry was actually in love with you. So, the sweet poem felt more like a prank, no matter how much it made your heart skip a beat.
I love the sound of your voice/ And the way you smile too/ If I never saw your face again/My heart would go blue/ You make my knees go weak/ And my heartbeat race/ If there were a contest for your love/ I would fight for 1st place/ I dream of you and me/ I hope it’s meant to be
The next day at school, any time Kerry sees you, he practically runs the other way. Finally, you’re able to corner him after a class together.
“I’m sorry,” he tells you immediately, before you can say anything. “It was just a joke from my brothers, they thought it would be funny. They were just messin’ around.” “Oh. That’s too bad, it’s really good.” “Wait, really?”
You were his first love and he was yours. You were both each other’s first everything. Then high school graduation came along, and Kerry went off to Houston while you went your own way. Life went on, and you accepted the circumstances that took you on separate paths and told yourself if it was meant to be, it would happen.
Eventually, now into adulthood, you ended up back in your hometown to watch the old WCCW show. You knew Kevin and David were beginning to make quite a name for themselves, but you didn’t realize Kerry was also quickly following in their footsteps.
You hesitated to even approach him, watching girls throw themselves at him. It was just like high school and every girl wanting him, but 10x worse. Finally, you mustered up the nerve to stick around after the show, waiting out back with other people who tried to snag autographs.
Kerry and his brothers were leaving together, bags shouldered and ready to sign autographs. You waited near the back of the crowd, and when Kerry reached you, he didn’t even look up.
“What do you want me to sign?” He asked, pen outstretched and ready and head down. Your sweaty hand was clutching his old poem from years ago, retrieving it from where it had resided safely in your wallet for years.
“How about this?” You offered. His eyes read over the poem before they widened in shock and he looked up at you quickly. His bag dropped as he lifted you quickly into his arms.
The two of you picked up where you left off.
Kerry can get a little jealous, which you find ridiculous considering the shoes you’re in. If he sees a guy talking to you at one of his shows, he’s sure to take his ring jacket off more meaningfully and flex as often and casually as he can. In public with you, he’ll always be touching you somehow—an arm around the shoulder, holding your hand, pulling you on his lap.
He likes it when you spend time with him while he works out. He enjoys your company always, but he likes to impress you with his strength, and he thinks it’s fun to see all the things he can do with you, like push-ups while you sit on his back.
One of his hobbies is photography. You bought him his first camera in high school, and now, you got him an even fancier one. You’re his muse. He takes candid photos of you constantly and has you pose as well. “Oh, baby, you look so pretty today. Let me take your picture.”
You are Doris and Fritz’s favorite. They can see you’ve always made a positive impact on Kerry and like that you’ve been around the family for so long; you’re not an outsider. His brothers treat you like family too.
Kerry gets a lot of pride being seen with you and being with you. He talks about you constantly to anyone and everyone, to the point that the entire locker room knows you before even meeting you. Even Ric Flair knows who you are.
Kerry carries a picture of you in his wallet so you’re always with him when he travels. He’s always quick to take it out and show people. He has pictures of you and you two together everywhere, like the visor in his truck.
He often brings up the future to you, sometimes staying awake late just dreaming and planning out the life he wants the two of you to have.
“Kerry, you have a title match tomorrow, honey. We don’t have to worry about what color we should paint our future kitchen right now.” “You’re right, but I’m still leaning towards some kind of green.”
Kerry is great at randomly buying flowers for no reason and surprising you at the best times.
He plans to propose to you as soon as he can think of the most romantic way to do it. He carries your ring on him for months, nervously waiting and driving himself crazy trying to find the perfect moment.
Finally, one night he’s sitting at the kitchen table all alone, unable to sleep. He has the ring box on the table, and he’s inspecting the ring in his hand under the light when you walk in. He nearly fell out of his chair, not expecting to see you.
“
You weren’t supposed to see that.” He manages to get out before you let out a laugh and fly into his lap. “Yes!” You say as you hug his neck and he immediately puts the ring on your finger.

X has locked and suspended the accounts of journalists and researchers who shared the alleged identity of a neo-Nazi cartoonist known as Stonetoss after the cartoonist appealed to site owner Elon Musk.
The incident, critics say, highlights once again how Musk has not only welcomed extremists onto his platform but has repeatedly boosted their conspiracies, engaged with their accounts, and seems to have protected them from scrutiny.
A lengthy X thread posted by the antifascist research group Anonymous Comrades Collective last week claimed that Stonetoss is a man named Hans Kristian Graebener from Spring, Texas. Stonetoss cartoons, which feature simple and colorful imagery coupled with racist, homophobic, and antisemitic language, have become hugely popular among right-wing communities since they were first published at least seven years ago.
In its telling, the antifascist research group linked the Stonetoss cartoonist to another anonymous racist cartoonist known as Red Panels by comparing their voices from appearances on extremist podcasts. The researchers say they found an email address linked to Graebener that was used to register the Red Panels accounts on the far-right social media platform Gab. Then, the group says, it was able to match up comments made by Stonetoss with events in Graebener’s life. In one case, Graebener took a trip to Japan in 2019 with a Houston IT company he then worked for; at the same time, Stonetoss posted a picture on X of a “welcome to Japan” sign with the comment, “Finally made it to the ethnostate fellas.” The research group has been doing this kind of work for years and has been credited with unmasking numerous other extremists, including those involved with a neo-Nazi homeschool network.
Graebener has not disputed anything the researchers uncovered. He did not respond to requests for comment from WIRED to his personal email address nor to the email address on the Stonetoss website, and he did not pick up calls from phone numbers associated with his name.
The Anonymous Comrade Collective thread got a lot of attention on X, racking up at least 13.5 million views. On Thursday, the Stonetoss account appealed to X users who have “a direct line” to Musk, X’s owner, to help to get the thread deleted. Musk has, in the past, shared an altered version of a Stonetoss cartoon about the collapse of society. “If Elon's idea of a ‘free speech’ website is one where people can be intimidated into silence, the outcome will be a site where the Stasi will drive out all dissent,” Stonetoss wrote. The account also tagged Musk and offered to share a list of people to target.
In a subsequent post, Stonetoss said this appeal was not about him but about other “artists.”
“This is about others I know personally,” Stonetoss wrote. “There is a whole ecosystem of artists out there who cannot (or have stopped) making art because of people on twitter organized to punish them IRL for doing so.” The cartoonist also added that sales of his plush toy were “going gangbusters” since his alleged identity was revealed.
Hours later, the account associated with the Anonymous Comrades Collective that posted the thread was deleted, and the account was suspended. On Friday, dozens of users, including a number of researchers and journalists, began discussing the incident and posting some of the details of the research, including Graebener’s name.
X locked down many of these accounts and ordered them to delete the offending tweet to get full access to their accounts back. Among those targeted were Jared Holt, a senior research analyst at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, who covers right-wing extremism; Hannah Gais, a senior research analyst at Southern Poverty Law Center; and Steven Monacelli, an investigative journalist for the Texas Observer. (WIRED has also published Monacelli’s work.)
X also imposed a ban on sharing the link to the Anonymous Comrades Collective blog detailing its research. WIRED verified this on Monday morning by attempting to post the link, only to be met with a pop-up message that read: ‘We can't complete this request because this link has been identified by X or our partners as being potentially harmful.”
Even with the crackdown from X, people kept sharing details of the Stonetoss investigation.
“We all just started posting his name; it was like a Streisand effect,” Alejandra Caraballo, a clinical instructor at the Harvard Law School Cyberlaw Clinic, tells WIRED. “They're just trying to censor his name, and then everyone started getting their accounts locked.”
Caraballo, who shared screenshots of the messages she received from X with WIRED, managed to circumvent the initial ban by appealing it and claiming, ironically, that she was the victim of mass reporting from antifa who were attempting to silence her right-wing viewpoint.
While that appeal was successful, Caraballo was quickly locked out of her account again when she changed her username to “Hans Kristian Graebener is stonetoss.” That resulted in a 12-hour suspension, and when her account was reinstated she was soon punished for earlier posts that shared screenshots of information about Graebener. Caraballo’s account has now been suspended for seven days. Shortly after this article was originally published, Caraballo’s account was restored by X, without an explanation.
An X representative says that the company, following a review of the actions taken against the accounts of Anonymous Comrades Collective, Holt, Gais, Monacelli, and Caraballo, stood by its decision.
“The posts that were removed were all actioned correctly,” says Joe Benarroch, head of business operations at X, adding that the posts violated the company’s “posting private information policy” for “outing the identity of an anonymous user.”
While X does have a policy around sharing private information, the company’s terms of service on March 20 did not mention a policy related to outing the identity of an anonymous user, and Benarroch did not respond to a request for clarification. On March 21, after WIRED published this story, X updated its privacy policy to specifically prohibit posting the ”the identity of an anonymous user, such as their name or media depicting them.”
“According to X’s terms of service, posting someone's name does not constitute doxing, but, many accounts, including my own, have been made to delete posts that merely mention the name of the racist and antisemitic cartoonist Stonetoss,” Monacelli told WIRED before the change. “I've never seen enforcement like this before.”
This policy change could possibly be in response to a post last month from Musk when he wrote, “Any doxxing, which includes revealing real names, will result in account suspension.” Still, in an interview with Don Lemon released on Monday, Musk said that moderation of hate speech is akin to “censorship.”
There are now hundreds of posts on the platform which name Stonetoss as Graebener. There are also numerous accounts on the platform that changed their profile name to “Hans Kristian Graebener is stonetoss”—and they haven’t all been suspended.
“This is completely arbitrary and under Twitter's own community standards it says that a name is never considered private information,” Caraballo tells WIRED. “There's an immense double standard here of the neo-Nazi comic guy being protected” by X. But then, she says, “The people that do this to anyone on the left are not only followed by [Musk] but are boosted by him. It's completely inconsistent.” To her, it seems that whoever Musk favors gets protected, and anyone else is banned. “This is also a pretext for them to be able to go after anyone that they dislike,” Caraballo says.”
Caraballo and others have pointed to accounts like Libs of TikTok and far-right troll Andy Ngo, both of which have shared private information about trans people but have not had their accounts suspended. Musk has also engaged with posts that doxed individuals on X, with seemingly no recourse for those accounts.
For anyone who has tracked Musk’s actions since taking control of X in October 2022, this incident is no surprise. Musk has systematically removed the guardrails the company had put in place to prevent hate speech on the platform and has welcomed back racists, antisemites, and transphobic posters who had been previously banned.
In recent months, Musk has repeatedly endorsed racist conspiracies like the great replacement theory and has engaged with numerous accounts spreading disinformation and hate speech. Just this weekend, Musk interacted with Martin Sellner, the founder of a white ethnonationalist group in Austria who previously communicated with and accepted a donation from the man who shot and killed 51 people at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2019.
After they deleted their posts, most of those restricted for sharing Graebener’s name have had their accounts unlocked. However, the Anonymous Comrade Collective account that shared the details about Graebener is also suspended, and a representative tells WIRED they are unsure when or if it will come back.

tuesday again 4/2/2024
in which i try to clean two different boxes with varying success
new people: hello! the tuesdaypost is a weekly roundup of stuff i've been listening, reading, watching, playing, and making. it is NOT a recommendation series, although i sometimes dabble in critique. when im firing on all cylinders i ask "what is the core concept of this? does it succeed in what i think it's trying to do and what it says it's doing?is it well-made but i dislike it/beautiful but not for me? why? what parts Really Work?"
if you are into purity culture, yelling at other people about the problematic media they consume, or are under 18 i am going to have very little patience for you.
listening
Tumblr media
now that i live in houston i am legally obliged to loop the new beyonce album 24/7. there is absolutely truly nobody fucking doing it like her. every song is a multimedia art piece. goddamn do i miss the album as a tool to convey a specific concept/listening order/flow. sometimes (chappell roan most recently comes to mind, although it does feel unfair to compare anyone to beyonce) every individual song is pretty good but the listening experience if you sit down and listen all the way through the album is unpleasant and choppy. not so here. NEVER here.
my favorite like Dance Number is YA YA (it samples nancy sinatra's boots! and the beach boys' good vibrations! wildly different tones despite coming out a year apart!)
youtube
the one that goes on four different character/tone playlists is BODYGUARD.
youtube
great early roundup of influences, samples, and collaborators. delighted to see five fingers for marseilles listed, a rocky but underrated south african neo-western free on tubi rn for americans
-
reading
also very texas-relevant with the recent pornhub lawsuits! pornhub and sex tech (among other things) have been samantha cole's beat for almost ten years. i trust her to report sensitively and not for like. shock clicks
this site has a free paywall (sign up with your email for a link to the full article) so bots have a harder time scraping articles: this is a journalist-founded site with only the four founders running it and writing articles. while annoying i do think this is a reasonable measure
The platform still has problems, but after years of critical reporting and a litany of legal and reputational consequences, Pornhub is now more heavily moderated than any other porn platform, and most major social media platforms, for that matter. A growing list of age verification laws has put Pornhub in a position where it is compelled to block access to its site in seven states and counting. In theory, these laws are designed to prevent children from being able to access pornography online. In reality, what is going to happen is that children are going to end up on pornographic sites that don’t care what the law says, and where some of the most harmful content that exists online is actively promoted to them.
she's also got a new limited series podcast with CBC about the rise and fall of pornhub, which was fascinating and kept me company during an extremely early morning drive
-
watching
i'm lukewarm about this one but i spend a lot of time getting there, much like this movie
Tumblr media
ive been watching a lot of frankly dogshit thrillers, which has made me wonder: what's the deal with supervillans? where did they come from? and thence arrived at the prototypical film Dr Mabuse the Gambler (1922, dir. Lang). the four and a half hour cut on Kanopy is two normal-length movies superglued together, which makes sense as a streaming product but it is sort of a terrifying runtime and took me three days to get through.
sometimes, as we know, i get a real bee in my bonnet about visiting the early versions of things. dr mabuse is the blueprint for every james bond and mission impossible villain, or really any shadowy supervillain with power over [INDUSTRY] or [THE MARKET]. it is a four and a half hour long cat and mouse game through lavish, eccentric sets between mabuse and prosecutor wenk. it has some trouble sustaining itself bc it is four and a half hours long but does deliver on the cat and mouse aspects. this letterboxed review has interesting things to say about the political climate of 1922 germany and how lang subverts the formula of the pulp serial.
really the film opens with mabuse yelling at his cocaine-addicted assistant, but the film properly gets going with mabuse's henchmen stealing a trade agreement (nothing really carbon dates a movie more than a missing trade agreement. vanishingly few post-early-30s movies have missing trade agreements as plot points) and then he crashes the stock market. for fun and profit.
however. i think every time you see an evil man who is a banker or stockbroker or generally uses money as power you have to interrogate whether it's antisemitic. the answer here is "maybe" but i'm not sure if intent matters when contemporary nazi critics were eager to hold mabuse up as "this is the typical jewish criminal". (sorry about the link directly to wikipedia, it's been touch finding online sources for this section). mabuse is not specifically jewish, but there are certainly elements of stereotype. i am still not good at being presented with "this movie has a shadowy behind the scenes figure manipulating the government and all the money ever" and going "hey wait a minute".
after that tremendous glaring caveat, for which i read more contemporary reviews and reviews in general than i ever read for movies in these posts, is it good? eh. a contemporary VARIETY review remarked (and i largely agree)
The direction of Fritz Lang has moments – but Lang somewhat negates his good technical effects by twenty forty-word captions of a ludicrous unconciseness.
the night scenes are particularly well done, and imo are better than many modern night scenes--other contemporary reviews remarked
In this film the techniques of the film camera (Carl Hoffmann’s brilliant photography) are brought to perfection. The problem of how to film lit-up streets at night has been solved for the first time. It is unbelievably impressive to see the glaring lights of speeding cars flash through the night or the rapid passing of an elevated train of the initially blurred, then gradually focussed glimpse through a pair of opera glasses on to the variety stage, the nuances of light and shade—these things alone prove the value of film documentary.
look at this shit! filmed from within the cars! in 1922!!!
youtube
this film asks you to believe hypnotism is real and really effective, so i don't think it's that big of a leap when it asks you to believe in ghosts. i don't understand that quibble from contemporary viewers. there are several on screen suicides with like. specific methods. which is not currently regarded as good filmmaking practice. im curious to know what contemporary audiences thought but couldn't immediately turn anything up, and wading through masters’ theses on cinematic suicide is a little beyond my current mental health.
if i were a more content-minded woman this would turn into a clickbait video essay about the antisemitic origins of every supervillan. however i am unqualified and untalented at video editing and i'm sure there are forty theses on this already. this movie is a hard sell to anyone jewish or employed. it is also a stunning example of cutting-edge film technology and part of the genesis of the modern supervillan. Fritz Lang films tend to fall in the category of “movies i am happy to see once and feel no need to revisit”.

playing
playing what is effectively the same game three times back to back (breath of the wild, tears of the kingdom, genshin impact) has sort of burned me out on open world games with a focus on battle skill progression and stumbling across little puzzles in the overworld. i have to get itch.io up and running on this pc and find the most linear jankiest possible one-sitting indie thing. or several of them. i might try the solo ttrpg Gentleman Bandit i seem to have acquired in one of the giant charity bundles
Tumblr media
brief breath of the wild update bc i don't want to pull screenshots off my switch: i have gotten to the boss fight for the gerudo and goron regions, have not completed them bc my focus in this game is NOT hearts, and am in the middle of the zora temple. despite the quality of life improvements and new regions in totk i think i prefer botw: progression is a bit easier, there are fewer mmo-style hub quests and repeatable quests. things like the stable photos are cute but very repetitive, so are the sign bracing puzzles, and the sky crystal quests for sky shrines feel VERY samey. also dislike how the CLEAR OUT: [REGION] quests with the monster suppression squads reset at the blood moon.
anyway! to genshin! there was an exceptionally fun little event with a surprisingly involved management sim tacked onto the game??? you make and sell potions fulfilling different requirements, and can eventually stock travelling merchants all over the continent. the actual act of making the potions was this block-filling 1010! style thing (screenshot from polygon)
Tumblr media
the new region, a port town and tea-growing area called Chenyu Vale, is maybe the prettiest one in the game so far? it's the one that feels the most picturesque and Designed, like this is one huge mansion garden studded with follies. they also added background chatter and noise in the cities and towns, which really startled me and makes them feels much more lived in! this is a fun trick to avoid putting in a thousand NPCs and making everyone's framerate crash. the less stuff in your game, the less shit can go wrong.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
also pulled for and got chiyori, a geo-aligned seamstress (and sometime spy???) swordswoman who has what i can only call domme voice
Tumblr media
-
making
ok now we'll talk about boxes. i was rearranging my kitchen, as unemployed women are known to do, and noticed this recipe box i picked up back in mass was disgusting. the finish is starting to fail but it was genuinely grody and last summer i packed my kitchen in a blind panic inside an hour and did not have time to address it. i have never seen a recipe box at an estate sale before or since and it made me desperately sad.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
it was full of a lot of stuff.
Tumblr media
i went at it with a somewhat inadvisable combination of things: wood soap didn't budge it, so i dampened a paper towel in vinegar and wiped it down in the vain hope it would do something. the thing that worked, and would be inadvisable for anything veneered or less densely textured, was baking soda paste and the scrubby side of a sponge. it still smells Very musty even after 48h of loose baking soda inside with several changes, but that might be partly the recipe cards' fault. i would like to refinish this at some point but i don't have polyurethane on hand and the fun little project budget is empty until further notice/i get a job.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the hinge did rust a bit despite my best efforts but that has since been lightly steel wooled and oiled. a well loved object! it's possible the lady who died just fucking sucked and that's why literally her entire estate including many other things families usually keep was on sale, but i would like to think perhaps she simply had no other family? a well loved/used object even if all the recipes are for semi-horrifying fifties new england recipes.
Tumblr media
the other box, pre-acids but post-washing: this topp trading card box with seven episode one packets of cards was intact with the original seal. i have verified it was not worth much more than the $5 i paid for it with the trading card obsessed man in my best friend's husband's friendgroup. i bought this three months ago but the man was unavailable to open it until uhhh last week. some sort of liquid got inside it at some point and it was super corroded. i was going to store embroidery floss in here but even with all my powers (barkeepers friend. brasso.) i cannot completely remove the corrosion. it's not corroded Through but it looks bad and feels rough. so it goes. it'll probably hold the tiedown straps in my car bc that plastic bucket is rapidly failing

Victoria Spivey
Tumblr media
Victoria Regina Spivey (October 15, 1906 – October 3, 1976), sometimes known as Queen Victoria, was an American blues singer, songwriter, and record company founder. During a recording career that spanned 40 years, from 1926 to the mid-1960s, she worked with Louis Armstrong, King Oliver, Clarence Williams, Luis Russell, Lonnie Johnson, and Bob Dylan. She also performed in vaudeville and clubs, sometimes with her sister Addie "Sweet Peas" (or "Sweet Pease") Spivey (August 22, 1910 – 1943). also known as the Za Zu Girl. Among her compositions are "Black Snake Blues" (1926), "Dope Head Blues" (1927), and "Organ Grinder Blues" (1928). In 1961, she co-founded Spivey Records with one of her husbands, Len Kunstadt.
Born in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of Grant and Addie (Smith) Spivey. Her father was a part-time musician and a flagman for the railroad; her mother was a nurse. She had three sisters, all three of whom also sang professionally: Leona, Elton "Za Zu", and Addie "Sweet Peas" (or "Sweet Pease") Spivey (August 22, 1910 – 1943), who recorded for several major record labels between 1929 and 1937, and Elton Island Spivey Harris (1900–1971). She married four times; her husbands included Ruben Floyd, Billy Adams, and Len Kunstadt, with whom she co-founded Spivey Records in 1961.
Spivey's first professional experience was in a family string band led by her father in Houston. After he died, the seven-year-old Victoria played on her own at local parties. In 1918, she was hired to accompany films at the Lincoln Theater in Dallas. As a teenager, she worked in local bars, nightclubs, and buffet flats, mostly alone, but occasionally with singer-guitarists, including Blind Lemon Jefferson. In 1926 she moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she was signed by Okeh Records. Her first recording, "Black Snake Blues" (1926), sold well, and her association with the label continued. She recorded numerous sides for Okeh in New York City until 1929, when she switched to the Victor label. Between 1931 and 1937, more recordings followed for Vocalion Records and Decca Records, and, working out of New York, she maintained an active performance schedule. Her recorded accompanists included King Oliver, Charles Avery, Louis Armstrong, Lonnie Johnson, and Red Allen.
The Depression did not put an end to Spivey's musical career. She found a new outlet for her talent in 1929, when the film director King Vidor cast her to play Missy Rose in his first sound film, Hallelujah!. Through the 1930s and 1940s Spivey continued to work in musical films and stage shows, including the hit musical Hellzapoppin (1938), often with her husband, the vaudeville dancer Billy Adams.
In 1951, Spivey retired from show business to play the pipe organ and lead a church choir, but she returned to secular music in 1961, when she was reunited with an old singing partner, Lonnie Johnson, to appear on four tracks on his Prestige Bluesville album Idle Hours.
The folk music revival of the 1960s gave her further opportunities to make a comeback. She recorded again for Prestige Bluesville, sharing an album, Songs We Taught Your Mother, with fellow veterans Alberta Hunter and Lucille Hegamin, and began making personal appearances at festivals and clubs, including the 1963 European tour of the American Folk Blues Festival.
In 1961, Spivey and the jazz and blues historian Len Kunstadt launched Spivey Records, a low-budget label dedicated to blues, jazz, and related music.
In March 1962, Spivey and Big Joe Williams recorded for Spivey Records, with harmonica accompaniment and backup vocals by Bob Dylan. The recordings were released on Three Kings and the Queen and Kings and the Queen Volume Two. Dylan was listed under his own name on the record covers. A picture of her and Dylan from this period is shown on the back cover of the Dylan album, New Morning. In 1964, Spivey made her only recording with an all-white band, the Connecticut-based Easy Riders Jazz Band, led by the trombonist Big Bill Bissonnette. It was released first on an LP and later re-released on compact disc.
Spivey married four times; her husbands included Ruben Floyd, Billy Adams, and Len Kunstadt.
Spivey died in New York on October 3, 1976, at the age of 69, from an internal hemorrhage.

Battleship Texas much closer to securing permanent home in Galveston
The first step is a ten-year lease with the port, coming in at $20,000 a month or more depending on the weather
By Chris Gray
Tumblr media
"This artist's rendering projects what the USS Texas could look like once it is safely housed along the heart of Galveston's waterfront. "
"Battleship Texas cleared an important hurdle in its quest for a permanent home this week. During its regular meeting on Tuesday, the Galveston Wharves board of trustees authorized the creation of a lease between the Port of Galveston and the Battleship Texas Foundation, which operates and maintains the historic warship.
'It’s a big step for us,' said Tony Gregory, the foundation’s president and CEO. 'We feel like it's a big win. It’s taken a while to convince the port that we should be where we're going to go, but in the end their leadership responded. We think we have a good agreement, and we're excited to move forward on it.'
The proposed lease would be for 10 years with two additional 10-year options, explained port director and CEO of Galveston Wharves Rodger Rees. Once it has been drafted and signed, which Rees said could happen at the board’s next meeting later this month, the foundation would pay the port $20,000 per month in rent; plus $1.2 million (another $20,000 a month) in case an extreme-weather event or other dire scenario forced the port managers to take drastic measures with the ship like towing her out to sea.
Now, 'there's some hoops they've got to jump through but not ours,' Rees said. 'What we did is try to help them with their permitting process by giving them a home.'

The ship, which served with distinction in both World Wars, was towed from the San Jacinto Monument to a dry-dock facility in Galveston's harbor in August 2022.

According to Gregory, now that the foundation has struck a deal with the port, it can finalize its agreement with Landry’s, Inc. for the multibillion-dollar company founded by island native and Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta to manage the ship’s day-to-day operations, effectively adding it to a portfolio that also includes Kemah Boardwalk and Pleasure Pier. The foundation plans to permanently berth the ship in the area around Piers 19 and 20, the most commercial area of the port and property already controlled by Landry’s.
'Landry’s is excited about the positive progress made to secure a permanent home for the Battleship Texas in Galveston,' said Landry's deputy general counsel Dash Kohlhausen in a statement. 'We look forward to continue working with the City, the Wharves Board, and the Battleship Texas Foundation to make this a reality for Galveston.'
The next step for the foundation, which towed the USS Texas to Galveston from its longstanding home at the San Jacinto Monument in August 2022, is to secure the necessary permits from the trio of agencies which share jurisdiction over the waterway: the U.S. Coast Guard; U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; and Galveston Texas City Pilots, an association of ship captains whose boats escort larger vessels in and out of the port. It could take up to a year for those permits to be approved, Rees said.
Meanwhile, the ship, which served in both World Wars — notably off Omaha Beach during D-Day and as part of Operation Torch in North Africa — has been undergoing an estimated $60 million in dry-dock repairs since arriving at the Gulf Copper facility on Pelican Island. According to Gregory, those repairs are scheduled to be completed next summer. The foundation has already started a capital campaign to raise another $15 million for construction of its permanent housing, including the necessary mooring plus a ticket-sales building, public restrooms, and exhibit space.
Finally, hovering over all this is the not-insignificant question of whether the old battleship will sell enough tickets — about 283,000 a year, according to the foundation’s math — to offset the necessary maintenance, restoration, and marketing costs. On this count, at least, Gregory is confident she will.
'We feel like the reason our agreement with the port is such a big step is because we are in the best spot to attract the most tourists on the waterfront,' he said. 'We have two cruise terminals to our West, one cruise terminal to our East, with another being negotiated. We're near the restaurants, the Elissa, the bars; we’re near the Strand.

It could take another $15 million to prepare the necessary facilities to house the ship along Piers 19 and 20, foundation CEO Tony Gregory said.

'It’s a little bit like the real estate agent said: ‘Location, location, location' Gregory added. 'It’s the best location in Galveston for being successful in attracting people to come onto the ship.'
For the foundation, which took over upkeep of the ship from Texas Parks and Wildlife in 2019, the end is now in sight. The extraordinary patience necessary to steward the Texas through this painstaking and expensive process finally seems to be yielding tangible results.
'I tell people all the time, if you get involved with the Battleship Texas, whether you're a vendor or a regulatory agency, it's a legacy project and you need to be a little more patient and a little more committed to get it done, because she's an old ship and she needs a lot of care,' Gregory said.
'So we're confident,' he added. 'Believe me, there's always regulatory obstacles, and we've overcome a lot of them in the past couple or years. We’re optimistic that we can address whatever else needs to be addressed.'"
