Honor V30 Pro Camera, Specs, Antutu Score
Honor V30 Pro Camera, Specs, Antutu Score– Chinese companies and the US have yet to come to an agreement that would allow honor and Huawei to continue releasing devices with google services on them. However, that hasn’t stopped them from releasing devices at all. The latest phone from honor has flagship-grade internals. However, is it more than the sum of its parts, and if it ever does come to…

The Honor V40 smartphones are touted as worthy Mate 40 alternatives in a new leak
Honor may be one of the last smartphone brands to launch new premium devices in 2020. It is now slated to debut the follow-ups to its V30 and V30 Pro in the last month of this year. The prolific leaker Teme (@RODENT450 on Twitter) now asserts that at least 1 of their successors will have a 6.72-inch display with an up-to-date 120Hz refresh rate.
Then again, the tipster never mentioned whether this possibly advantageous panel is to be LCD or some form of OLED. In addition, this screen is apparently to be of the curved variety, an often polarizing aspect of smartphone design.
Besides this, the Honor V40s are also now projected to come with the same 66W SuperCharge power brick introduced with Huawei's Mate 40 series, not to mention 40W wireless charging.
Furthermore, the series may get this lines' new Kirin 9000 flagship (if beleaguered) SoC. However, it may only be for the Plus (or V40+) variant, whereas the vanilla model may rock the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ instead.
The Honor V40 series is also now believed to retain their predecessors' dual punch-hole selfie cameras. On the opposite side, Teme predicts a 50MP main shooter in a triple- to quad-lens arrangement.
The extent of the new details on the upcoming flagships end there. All in all, they suggest that (as noted by @RODENT450), Honor plans to unveil a contender to its own parent's new top-end models not so long from now.

Every 5G Phone Announced So Far So You Can Get a Faster Internet Connection
Who doesn’t want faster access to the internet? The next generation of mobile internet is 5G, which is short for “fifth generation,” and it’s on the way. When you have a 5G phone, you can expect exceptional data download and upload speeds.
There’s still a long way to go until 5G is as ubiquitous as the widely-available 4G, though, and we’re still taking our first baby steps into a faster future. Whether you think we need 5G or not, we’re seeing more and more manufacturers picking up the new standard — and the first commercially-available 5G phones are out now. Here is every phone that supports 5G, and a whole bunch of rumors about some that might.
Looking for the very best examples? We’ve made a list of the best 5G smartphones you can buy.
5G phones available now
5G phones by brand
Apple
There’s absolutely no doubt Apple will pick up 5G eventually, so the only question is when. At the moment, the whispers indicate that the iPhone giant won’t be looking to release a 5G iPhone until 2020 — so expect 5G capabilities on the iPhone in 2020.
This is no surprise, really. Apple can be slow to adopt new technology, just look at how long it took for it to adopt wireless charging and water-resistance. That’s not because Apple is lazy — far from it. Instead, Apple will likely only include the standard once it’s sure it works well and is not a waste of time. Being in a dominant market position, Apple can afford to wait.
Apple phones rumored to support 5G
Google
There haven’t been any rumors from Google about a 5G update for the Pixel range but it’s early days yet. The Pixel 4 came and went without a 5G variant, leading many to suspect the Pixel 5 may be the first 5G-supported Google phone. However, rumors have reached our ears of a 5G model of the Pixel 4a. If so, this would be a real surprise. Google’s midrange Pixel line may only have debuted last year, but it wasn’t expected to be the pioneering branch of the Pixel line where 5G is concerned. However, if true, this could be an excellent way into the 5G market for anyone who doesn’t want to spend big bucks on a 5G flagship phone.
Pixel phones rumored to support 5G
HMD Global (Nokia)
Well, it had us waiting for some time, but HMD Global has finally revealed the Nokia 8.3 5G — the first 5G-enabled Nokia phone.
While we’ve been waiting a while for this phone, it was more-or-less a foregone conclusion it would arrive eventually. Nokia has been very active in helping to build 5G infrastructure and was involved with 5G networks for the 2020 Olympics. In July 2018, T-Mobile also announced it was working with Nokia to help build a U.S. 5G network. Nokia could also make $3.50 for every single 5G phone released, thanks to its work on the standard.

Honor
Due to the Android licensing issues surrounding Huawei and Honor, the launch of Honor’s first 5G phone — the Honor V30 5G (also known as the Honor View 30 5G) — was a somewhat muted affair in the west. Still, it exists, opening the 5G floodgates for Huawei’s sister company. Are we likely to see more Honor phones with 5G? Absolutely. It seems sure the Honor 30S will launch with 5G after Honor president George Zhao was pictured on social media with it.

HTC
Despite rumors saying we’d be seeing a 5G HTC smartphone in the second half of 2019, we’ve heard very little from HTC. New rumors are saying a 5G HTC phone will arrive sometime in 2020. However, considering HTC’s terrible 2019, we wouldn’t be surprised to see such a phone pushed back again.
While we still haven’t seen a 5G phone from HTC yet, it has released a 5G hub your phone can use to connect to a 5G network.
Huawei
Huawei has made no secret of its ambitions for 5G, and first spoke about a handset with 5G support in February 2018. Back then, 2019 was the target date for release, and Huawei has hit that with the release of the folding, 5G-capable Huawei Mate X. Since then, Huawei has made hay, releasing the MatePad Pro 5G and Mate 20 X Pro 5G. We’re also expecting the upcoming P40 range to support 5G in at least one model.
With the Kirin 820 5G chip posting incredible benchmarks and Huawei being put in charge of building a lot of the UK’s 5G network, the 5G future is looking bright for Huawei.

LG
LG was hot out of the gate, and teamed up with Sprint to deliver the LG V50 ThinQ in early 2019, becoming one of the first 5G devices to hit the market. In fact, LG was so keen to get in on the 5G trend that it pushed the V50 ThinQ out a lot earlier than expected, with the phone landing on 20 June. LG gave 5G a rest for the LG G8 ThinQ, and has seemingly made it a V-range staple, adding 5G to the dual-screen LG V60 ThinQ.
LG phones confirmed to support 5G
Motorola/Lenovo
Motorola is in something of a unique position on this list because not only has it already released multiple phones with 5G capabilities, it’s also updating previous phones with 5G connectivity through a special Moto Mod. The Moto Z4 and Moto Z3 use Motorola’s Moto Mod attachment to add a 5G power pack accessory onto the back of the phone, making it possible to access 5G networks. The Moto Z2 Force, a 2017 flagship, will also get access to 5G through the mod after its Android Pie update — but only Verizon models will get that update.
The 5G Moto Mod wasn’t ready for launch earlier, but it’s finally available for from Verizon, having been released to match the switching on of Verizon’s 5G network.
But don’t expect Motorola to slow down just because it’s taken an early lead. 2020 is looking to feature more than a few Motorola phones with 5G, and top of that list is the Motorola Edge Plus. Motorola president Sergio Berniac has claimed the upcoming flagship device will sport the fastest 5G connection on the market. However, due to the cancelation of MWC, Motorola seems to have slowed down its release schedule.

OnePlus
OnePlus hasn’t gone mad with 5G releases, but it did jump on the bandwagon early with the OnePlus 7 Pro. The OnePlus 7T Pro was OnePlus’s second 5G phone, and OnePlus has continued its 5G support in the OnePlus 8 Pro. It’s probably a signifier of the increased maturity of 5G that OnePlus chose not to include “5G” in the title — essentially, it’s becoming more and more commonplace. Best of all, for fans of cheaper hardware, the OnePlus 8 also includes support for 5G.
OnePlus phones that support 5G
Oppo
Despite making early waves by being the first to access a 5G network, Oppo didn’t really capitalize by releasing a slew of 5G devices quickly. But that doesn’t mean it’s done nothing, and there are now a number of 5G Oppo devices available.
The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom 5G was the first, releasing in the U.K. on June 7. Since then, we’ve seen the China-only Reno 3 Pro 5G, and the stunning Find X2 Pro as well.
Oppo phones that support 5G
Realme
Relative newcomer Realme has so far excelled at providing strong phones at reasonable prices, and that philosophy has extended to its first 5G phone. The Realme X50 Pro 5G is a flagship-level device with a solid camera system that starts from just $650, making it one of the cheapest ways to access 5G.
Realme phones that support 5G
Samsung
Samsung is the largest mobile manufacturer in the world, and it would be silly to expect it to sit back and ignore 5G. Despite saying the S10 wouldn’t be Samsung’s first 5G device earlier in 2019, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G was Samsung’s first 5G phone, with the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G being the second, just pipping the Galaxy Fold to the post. As expected, the Galaxy S20 range has its fair share of 5G phones. While the smallest phone, the Galaxy S20, doesn’t support 5G, the S20 Plus and massive S20 Ultra both have 5G-enabled models.
Samsung announced a new focus on its midrange phones in 2018, and it has underlined that with the introduction of a 5G version of the midrange Galaxy A90. That said, while cheaper than Samsung’s more expensive flagships, it still costs about $800, so it’s hard to call it affordable. Samsung has rectified that a little bit by launching the Galaxy A71 5G and A51 5G, offering 5G connectivity for just $600 and $500 respectively.
Samsung phones that support 5G
Sony
While we didn’t see a 5G Sony phone in 2019, 2020 has seen the reveal of the Sony Xperia 1 II, Sony’s first 5G phone. Due to be announced at the ill-fated MWC 2020, Sony’s new flagship phone sports an upgraded camera, the Snapdragon 865, and a massive CinemaWide OLED display.
Will there be more 5G Sony phones? Sony is on Qualcomm’s list of 5G partners, so it makes sense we’ll be seeing more 5G-enabled phones from Sony over the year.
Sony phones that support 5G
Xiaomi
Chinese juggernaut Xiaomi laid its cards on the table earlier than most, announcing a 5G-capable model of its Mi Mix 3 was in the works. Xiaomi took to MWC 2019 to reveal the phone and released it in May 2019, making it one of the first companies to release a 5G phone. Since then we’ve seen a modest number of 5G offerings from Xiaomi, including the Xiaomi Mi 10 and the concept phone, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha.
Xiaomi phones that support 5G
ZTE
ZTE’s first 5G phone came in early 2019 when the Axon 10 Pro 5G released in Europe and China in May 2019. ZTE was a little quiet for the rest of 2019, but came roaring back in 2020 with the ZTE Axon 10s Pro. Like most other smartphone brands, these 5G devices are flagship-level phones, and come with top specs. ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia also announced a 5G phone: The Nubia X.

Honor 9X Pro price
The Honor 9X Pro is priced at EUR 249 (roughly Rs. 19,400), and will go on sale in varied markets starting March 2020 i.e. next month. Honor View 30 Pro packs a 4,100mAh battery
There’s a triple camera setup on the Honor View 30 Pro, and it sports a 40-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter with an f/2.4 lens, and is assisted by the 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It features a 32-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture paired with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Honor View 30 Pro comes equipped with a 4,100mAh battery with 40W fast charging support and 27W wireless fast charging support as well. Connectivity options on the two phones include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GLONASS, BeiDou, GPS/A-GPS, and NFC. It comes with side-mounted fingerprint sensor authentication, 162.7×75.8×8.8mm dimensions, and weighs about 206 grams.

Honor Play 4 Pro unveiled with Kirin 990, 40MP main and 3x tele cam, Play 4 gets Dimensity 800
Honor unveiled the Play 4 duo today, two 5G connected phones with powerful 7nm chipsets and a love for photography. Despite sharing a name, however, the two devices are fairly different.
Honor Play 4 Pro
The Honor Play 4 Pro uses the Kirin 990 (the 7nm version with external 5G modem), giving it flagship performance as well as 5G connectivity. The phone will run Magic UI 3.1 (based on Android 10) out of the box. It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
Honor Play 4 Pro in Black and “Mecha Blue”
The Pro has only two cameras on its back, but they are quite special. The main shooter is based on the Sony IMX600, a 1/1.7 sensor with 40MP resolution and a RYYB filter. Honor says it captures 40% more light than traditional sensors and can boost its ISO to 204,800.
The second camera offers 3x optical zoom (5x hybrid and up to 30x digital zoom). It has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and takes 8MP photos. Theres a Laser AF system to help with the autofocus.
The phone can record 4K/60fps video and makes up for the lack of OIS on the main camera with AIS, stabilization powered by the Kirin ISP.
The 6.57 LCD has 1080p+ resolution and a dual punch hole, housing the 32MP main selfie camera and 8MP ultra wide (both have fixed focus lenses).
The 4,200mAh battery supports speedy 40W fast charging – a 30 minute charge can fill the battery 70%.
The Honor Play 4 Pro is currently available for pre-order in Blue and Black colors. Its price is CNY 2,900 ($410/365), making it one of the most affordable Kirin 990 phones to date (the Honor V30 launched at CNY 3,300, though to be fair that one uses the slightly faster Kirin 990 5G chip).
Honor Play 4 Pro in Mecha Blue
Have a closer look at the Mecha Blue color, it makes the Pro look like a gaming phone.
Honor Play 4
The Honor Play 4 is larger with a 6.81 screen, an IPS LCD panel with 1080p+ resolution. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the side, just like on the Pro. Unlike it, there is only one camera on the front which has a 16MP sensor.
Honor Play 4 in Blue and Black
The back has four cameras. The main one packs a 64MP sensor, which is just as large as the one in the Pro (1/1.7), but is optimized for higher resolution rather than low-light performance. With pixel binning, the effective pixel size becomes 1.6µm and the aperture is f/1.89, so the phone should still do okay in the dark.
Next up is an 8MP ultra wide camera, then a 2MP macro camera and, finally, a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera can record 4K video but it is capped at 30fps.
The Play 4 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800, 7nm chipset with four Cortex-A76 cores and four A55, plus a Mali-G57 MC4 GPU similar hardware to the Kirin, though targeting mid-range performance. It does have an integrated 5G modem, however. The chip is covered by a massive 991mm² vapor chamber to keep it running cool.
The battery capacity is similar, 4,300mAh, but charging drops down to 22.5W (thats still reasonably fast).
The phone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage, just like the Pro, but this model also has a microSD slot (cards up to 512GB are supported). Both phones have dual SIM slots.
The Honor Play 4 is on pre-order with Blue and Black colors to choose from. It costs CNY 2,000 ($280/250). Both the Play 4 and Play 4 Pro model will also get an opalescent white color soon.

Flipkart Big Shopping Days, Mi Note 10 India Launch Teaser, WhatsApp Updates, and More Tech News This Week
Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales may have been the talk of the town in the US, but Flipkart didn’t want Indian consumers to miss out on some shopping fun. Hence, the e-retailer kicked off the latest iteration of its Big Shopping Days sale in India, just a day before Cyber Monday 2019 goes live on the other side of the world. Among other major developments this week, Xiaomi India started teasing the India launch of Mi Note 10 and WhatsApp released a new version of its iPhone app. Read on for more on these and other big happenings from the world of tech this week.
Flipkart is back with yet another edition of its Big Shopping Days sale. Probably the last Big Shopping Days sale of 2019, the latest round of Flipkart sale went live Saturday evening for Flipkart Plus members and Sunday for rest of the shoppers. According to the Walmart-owned e-retailer, the sale will continue through December 5. Flipkart is offering discounts, deals, and offers on pretty much all the categories, including mobile phones, tablets, mobile accessories, PCs, TVs, and more.

Mi Note 10 India launch teased
Mi Note 10, which is the global version of Mi CC9 Pro, is coming to India soon, teased the company’s India chief Manu Kumar Jain this week. While Manu Jain didn’t say exactly when we can expect to see the phone in the country, it is likely to arrive next month as the last major smartphone launch from the company. Mi Note 10 was introduced in Spain last month, whereas the Mi CC9 Pro debuted in China one day before the Mi Note 10.
Although Mi Note 10’s European pricing suggests a pretty expensive smartphone, it is most likely going to retail around the Mi CC9 Pro China pricing. The Mi CC9 Pro has been priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 28,000) for the base 6GB + 128GB variant in Xiaomi’s home market, whereas the higher end 8GB + 128GB variant will set buyers back by CNY 3,099 (roughly Rs. 31,000). The premium edition of the phone, which is known as Mi Note 10 Pro outside China and packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage, carries a price tag of CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 35,000). It is unclear if the premium edition will also make its way to India.
To recall, Mi Note 10 features a 6.47-inch curved full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) OLED display and is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC. There is up to 8GB of RAM onboard as well as 128GB of onboard storage. Other specifications of the phone include a penta cameta setup that houses a 108-megapixel main camera with f/1.69 aperture, a 20-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera, a 5-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
Mi Note 10 also packs an in-display fingerprint sensor, 5,260mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging, and various connectivity options. Mi Note 10 Pro has almost the same specifications as Mi Note 10, however, it sports an 8P lens, while the Mi Note 10 sports a 7P lens in the main camera. Also, you get more onboard storage – 256GB.
Vivo U20 Review
WhatsApp for iPhone update, WhatsApp beta for Android
Facebook-owned WhatsApp released an update for its iPhone app this week that brought a couple of interesting new things. One of the changes is call waiting support. Yes, WhatsApp for iPhone will now inform you if someone else are trying to call you while you are on another call. This should help avoid missed calls. The other change is the tweaked chat screen that is designed to help you quickly scan chat massages. The new update carries the version number 2.19.120 and it also brings updated group privacy settings to anyone who was still missing them.
WhatsApp also released a new beta version for Android this week and while it didn’t have any user-facing changes, its code did reveal one under-development feature. WhatsApp seems to have restarted working on the Disappearing Messages feature. It is now called Delete Messages. It will work in both regular chats and groups, however in the case of latter, only group administrators will able to switch on the feature.
WhatsApp Disappearing Messages feature will allow users to delete any new messages after a certain period of time. This time can be chosen from 1-hour, 1-day, 1-week, 1-month, and 1-year. Once this option is selected any new messages sent in the regular chat or group will be deleted when their time is over. The Delete messages option will be available in Contact Info or Group Settings. The latest WhatsApp beta for Android was also seen carrying a dark mode version of Delete messages feature, suggesting the dark mode is well in development.
Vivo V17 launch, India release date, and Vivo Z5i makes its debut
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo earlier this week launched the new V17 in the Russian market. It is re-branded version of the Vivo S1 Pro that made its debut in Philippines last month. Vivo V17 is expected to be introduced in India on December 9 if an invite shared by the company recently is any indication. Vivo V17 India pricing remains a secret for now, however the price of V17 in Russia and Vivo S1 Pro’s Philippines price can give us some idea. The company retails V17 in Russia at RUB 22,990 (roughly Rs. 25,900), while the S1 Pro with same specifications carries a price tag of PHP 15,999 (roughly Rs. 22,500). So, we are expecting V17 to retail somewhere around Rs. 22-23,000 in India.
On the specifications front, Vivo V17 features a 6.38-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, and 8GB of RAM. The phone also packs a diamond-shaped quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the Vivo V17 smartphone houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor. You will also get 4,500mAh battery and 128GB of onboard storage.
Vivo V17 wasn’t the only new smartphone from Vivo this week, the company also unveiled Vivo Z5i. The Vivo Z5i shares pretty much all of its specifications with Vivo U3 and Vivo U20, both of which are essentially the same phone with different names. The company’s strategy of launching the same devices with different names in different countries is just baffling. Vivo Z5i is now on sale in China and carries a price tag of CNY 1,798 (roughly Rs. 18,300) for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.
Redmi Note 8 Cosmic Purple colour, Redmi Note 8 Pro Electric Blue colour launched in India
Apart from teasing the India launch of Mi Note 10, Xiaomi also introduced one new colour variant each for Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro in the country this week. Starting with Redmi Note 8 that received the new Cosmic Purple colour. The new colour variant was also put on sale for the first-time week alongside Moonlight White, Neptune Blue, and Space Black colours. Apart from the new paintjob, there is no difference between other colour variants of the phone and Cosmic Purple. To recall, Redmi Note 8 price starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage variant and goes up to Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model.
Redmi Note 8 Pro got the new Electric Blue colour option in the country. It joined the existing Gamma Green, Halo White, and Shadow Black colour options. As you can expect, there is no difference between the Electric Blue version and the existing colours options for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, apart from the fresh coat of paint. To recall, Redmi Note 8 Pro is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the base 6GB + 64GB variant in India, while the 6GB + 128GB model sets buyers back by Rs. 15,999. The top end 8GB + 128GB version can be purchased at Rs. 17,999.

Honor V30, Honor V30 Pro launch, and other tech news
After weeks of teasers, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor unveiled the new Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro smartphones in China. The two phones will be known as Honor View 30 and Honor View 30 Pro internationally. Honor V30 and its Pro variant share a lot of specifications and design. The two phones feature a 6.57-inch full-HD+ display, Kirin 990 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. Both the phones also pack a triple rear camera setup and dual selfie camera housed in a hole-punch.
Additionally, the Honor V30 packs a 4,200mAh battery, whereas the Honor V30 Pro comes equipped with a smaller 4,100mAh battery. Both phones support 40W fast charging, but the Honor V30 Pro also offers support for 27W wireless fast charging. Honor V30 and V30 Pro go on sale in China this month and will be released internationally in Q1 2020, however, the missing Google apps will certainly impact their sales outside China.
Jio Fiber has reportedly stopped onboarding new subscribers on the preview plan and is finally signing up customers on the paid plans. This development comes almost three months after the Internet Service Provider (ISP) had launched its services commercially. This also means that preview plan consumers can soon expect to see them migrated to the paid plans. To recall, Jio offers plans starting at Rs. 699 per month. Its top-end plan costs Rs. 8,499 and offers data speeds up to 1Gbps.
As the Jio Fiber subscribers start paying of their data, they will likely have to deal with FUP. To make sure, they have enough high-speed data, the ISP has quietly introduced a plan voucher at Rs. 199 (without taxes) that brings unlimited high-speed data for seven days. The subscribers who exhaust their high-speed data quota can opt for this voucher to regain the high-speed Internet. The plan voucher will be available via My Jio app and the company website.
Cyber Monday 2019: Which Wireless Earbuds Should You Buy?
Meanwhile, Tata Sky has said to have discontinued a number of its long duration channel packs. Right now, Tata Sky consumers can only opt for SD Kerala Super plan and Marathi SD Basic plan for six-month and 12-month durations, rest all of the channel packs will not be offered for long duration plans. The exact reasoning behind the move is unclear. Tata Sky has also withdrawn a promotional offer that provided free six-month subscription of the Tata Sky Binge service on getting a new HD set-top box at Rs. 4,999.
In other DTH news, Sun Direct has reduced the price of its set-top box models and their pricing now starts at Rs. 1,799. While the standard resolution Sun Direct SD+ set-top box is priced at Rs. 1,799, the customers can get the high-definition Sun Direct HD+ set-top-box at Rs. 1,999. Sun Direct set-top box models can be ordered from the company website or from offline retailers.
Xiaomi expanded its smart TV lineup in India this week with the launch of Mi TV 4X 55-inch 2020 Edition. It carries a price tag of Rs. 34,999 and will go on sale through Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores starting at 12pm (noon) on December 2. The Mi TV 4X 55-inch 2020 Edition runs Android 9 Pie with PatchWall 2.0 UI on top. It packs a 55-inch 4K HDR 10-bit display, a quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 CPU, 2GB of DDR RAM, and 8GB eMMC storage. Xiaomi has also provided two 10W built-in speakers with support for Dolby Audio.
In smart speaker news, Google has brought its Nest Mini to the Indian market. Launched earlier this week, this Google Assistant-powered smart speaker has been priced at Rs. 4,499 and is now on sale via Flipkart. Google Nest Mini smart speaker is a successor to the two-year-old Google Home Mini and promises better sound quality along with the familiar Google Assistant-powered experience.
Google Nest Mini in India: Everything You Need to Know
Lastly, Flipkart is all set to launch its Nokia-branded smart TV models next week in the country. The e-retailer is hosting a press event on December 5 where the new smart TV models will be showcased. Nothing is known about the upcoming TVs at this point, apart from the fact that they will use JBL sound technology. This will be second such launch of Flipkart, which had earlier said to have partnered with Motorola to launch Motorola-branded Android TVs in India.
