3 for mchanzo if you don't mind. Your writing is wonderful.
(Thank you 😘)
Jesse is nervous. They've told Genji, Hanzo's most important person, and now it's time to tell Ana and Fareeha. Finally discharged from the hospital, he decides he needs to tell them sooner than later, otherwise he might explode, and Hanzo is behind him the whole way. They're both over the moon to be expecting their first child, and it's important that their family is behind them the whole journey.
The pair sit in Ana's dorm, waiting for her to come through with the tea, while Fareeha texts someone on her phone - probably the most recent of girlfriends she's found online. Jesse is playing with his thumbs in his lap, trying not to vomit up his heart that sits in his throat. Since finding out he was pregnant he's been suffering terrible morning sickness, and that morning being no exception. With nerves and that mixed together, his stomach is a playing ground of toxicity, churning furiously, and Jesse worries he might double over any minute, the contents of his stomach staining Ana's carpet. Hanzo had made him a special tea to keep his stomach relaxed, and it had worked to some degree, along with his support at his side.
Hanzo disrupts Jesse's shaking hands and pulls one into his lap, stroking his knuckles. It's a relief, to have a partner that willingly dotes on him, worships every inch of his being, and will hold his anxious heart with open hands, tending to his every need. Jesse smiles, squeezing his hand.
"Okay you two," Ana calls out as she walks in, setting the tea on the coffee table in front of them. Fareeha spins her phone in hand and takes the kettle to pour out. Ana sits in the plush antic chair, smiling warmly between Hanzo and Jesse. "What's the big news you had to share? I see no ring so obviously it's not a wedding on the horizon..."
"Are you kidding? Mom, Jesse won't get married, he said he never would." Fareeha winks at him, sipping her tea. Jesse remembers the cynicism he had as a kid, that reluctance to tie himself down to someone, but Hanzo is the change in the wind to push him past those thoughts. To marry Hanzo one day would be wonderful, and given their situation he knows it will come.
Jesse shrugs. "People change, but no we're not getting married, yet." He takes his hand out of Hanzo's hand and picks up his tea, stirring it, unable to settle. He sips softly, puts it down, and fidgets some more. "Me and Hanzo are moving forward though...and uh, it's big." He chuckles nervously. "I want you, my family, to know before others."
Ana drops a sugar cube into her cup and hums. The corners of her mouth curl upward as he lifts the cup to her lips, and nods at them. "Well I'm excited to know. You're like one of my own, Jesse, so anything you have to share, I will be at your side the whole way."
"Yeah, as long as you're not joining a circus or something." Fareeha jokes.
Jesse looks at Hanzo, eyes full of fear, and watches as his boyfriend breaths him through the turmoil. The calm in Hanzo's dark eyes pulls him through the stress, and he smiles.
"So... there's no way to sugar coat this, I just gotta come out and say it." He takes a deep breath, and looks at Ana. “How do you like the nickname grandma?"
Ana looks at him curiously, before finally it clicks and her eyes brighten. Fareeha gasps audibly, squealing with excitement as she lunges out of the seat and throws herself at the pair.
"I can not! You're actually having a baby, holy cow! You guys this is-- I can't believe it!" She jumps back, fanning herself and turning to her mother who is in a state of shock. "I'm gonna be an aunt!"
"Actually, Fareeha," Hanzo interjects, his face aching from the smile stitched into his expression. "I know it's early but we spoke about if you want to be Godmother? It would mean a lot to Jesse, and me, if you-"
"Of course! Oh, wow! Yes! Of course, of course, of course! I would be honoured to be the godmother!" She drops into her seat, panting heavily after exhausting herself from the excitement. Jesse laughs, turning back to Ana as he realises she's been silent the whole time.
"What do you think, Ana? Are you... disappointed?" He worries, but she soon puts his mind and ease with a shake of her head.
"No way, honey. I'm delighted for you both, it's very exciting." She stands from her seat and takes Jesse's hand to stand him up. His shoulders are tense, and it's obvious. She rubs his arms affectionately before bringing him in for a tender hug, and his whole body drops, relaxed. "I'm so proud of you." She whispers, and kisses him on the cheek.
Jesse squeezes her tight, laughing. "Thanks. I'm so glad you're both on board. Ain't a thing that means more to me than y'all being in my littlens life."

Mchanzo 13?
Hanzo comes through the front door, Austin asleep in his arms and a bag of shopping hanging off his forearm. He's trying to stay as quiet as possible, gently closing the door, and setting the bag on the floor. Austin often falls asleep after long car journeys, and it's a blessing really. With Himari at school and Austin conked out for the afternoon, Hanzo can spend some quality time with a very pregnant Jesse.
He sneaks upstairs and gently opens Austin's bedroom, but is surprised to find his husband on the floor, reading one of the children's books beside Austin's bed. Hanzo frowns, confused, and quietly clicks his fingers to gain Jesse's attention. Jesse looks up and sighs with relief.
"Well hello dar-"
"Shhhh!" Hanzo cuts him off sharply, finger to his lips before pointing at the sleeping infant in his arms. Jesse mimes zipping his lips and watches as Hanzo rests their son down to bed, tucking him in and settling his favourite plush toy in his arms. The little boy stirs for a minute before turning over and settling back into his deep sleep. Satisfied, Hanzo moves his attention to Jesse, kneeling in front of him.
He raises a brow. "Why are you in here on the floor?" Hanzo whispers, poking Jesse's protruding bump playfully. Jesse smiles and puts the book down, taking Hanzo's hands.
“Originally, I wanted to pick this up off the floor," he picks up Himari's exercise book and pencil case, laughing under his breath. "That was mistake number 1. Now, I’ve just accepted my fate that I’ll never get back up again.”
Hanzo shakes his head and stands, taking Jesse's hands and with great effort pulls him up to his feet. Jesse bumps into Hanzo full force with his belly, stumbling awkwardly before he's caught to a stand still. The two walk out the room together and close the door, leaving their son to sleep.
"Why would you try pick anything off the floor when you're carrying twins?" Hanzo asks, leading the way to their bedroom and falling to the mattress relieved with his husband. Jesse shrugs, rubbing his bump that peaks through his shirt.
"Himari's teacher called up saying she left her homework, so I went searching..." He trails of with a laugh. The way he cocks his head to rest into the pillow his hair falls around his face, covering parts of his eyes, falling onto his mouth, and there's something comforting about Jesse's blissful happiness, shinning bright. His eyes sparkle, crinkling with his beaming smile, and Hanzo swears he falls deeper and deeper in love everytime Jesse smiles - it should be impossible but their love is endless.
He gently sweeps the hair out of his face and draws his finger down Jesse's face, falling to his chin. With a soft growl, he says "You're perfect" and leans in to kiss him passionately. Jesse melts into the embrace, hands grabbing Hanzo's waist eagerly, and moans.
"Well shit, darling," he says against Hanzo's lips, dreamily lost in the sudden lust filling his body. "You sure know how to make a boy swoon. You think you can put that mouth'a yours to use for me?"
Hanzo raises his brow, grinning as Jesse's dark eyes fall down his body. "Those hormones of yours work fast." He says, and quick as a flash moves to sit between Jesse's legs, pulling him close to grind his hips against him. Jesse gasps, cheeks going red but his face eager and full of anticipation. Hanzo licks his lips and slowly removes his trousers. "But I'll give you anything you want, my love." And with that, he lowers down and gives Jesse the love he deserves.

McCree dressing in a cute santa themed lingerie set when he's expecting the twins for Hanzos Christmas gift 💜
‘Kids are with Gabe tonight. Don’t keep me waiting.’
To say he was intrigued was an understatement. He thought he’d be having a night in with his family, drinking hot Chocolate and resisting the urge to spoil Austin and Himari days before “Santa” had arrived, but it seemed otherwise. He was out with Genji doing some last minute shopping, and given Jesse was almost 8 months pregnant with twins, he didn’t want to leave him waiting too long.
So when he walks through the front door and sees Jesse against the opposite wall, candy cane in mouth, sucking sensually while wearing way too little to the imagination, he almost drops dead on the spot. He is turned on in the drop of a hat seeing his husband shaking his belly. Suspenders stretched either side of his bump, the booty shorts pulled up just above his navel, the material defining his popped belly button, and his heavy chest somehow supported by the flimsy luscious red boob tube - Hanzo wonders momentarily if he died and went to heaven. Knee high stockings, a christmas hat, and one of his hands roaming down his own swollen stomach, it was beyond sexy.
Jesse snickers, pulling the candy cane from his mouth slowly to tease Hanzo. Coming out with a slick pop, he winks, drawing him in with his fingers, and Hanzo practically runs. Jesse plays with the scarf around his neck. Hanzo has to lean in over Jesse ballooned belly, but that adds to the experience, and his eyes are already dark with lust.
“Merry Christmas, sugar. Thought I’d give you an early present,” He plays footsy with Hanzo, chuckling. “If I weren’t two seconds from toppling over all the damn time I’d have worn a higher shoe, but-”
“Jesse McCree, you do not need anything else to take my breath away.” He leans over the obstacle between them and kisses him, hand going to cup his belly. Jesse puts his hand over Hanzo’s and breaths deeply with the kiss, his hormones soaring with the contact. When Hanzo pulls back, Jesse falls with him, needy for more. Hanzo snickers. “I must say, however, if you were not already pregnant, I would be making sure you were after seeing you in this outfit.”
“We can always pretend, aye?” Jesse hooks his arms around Hanzo’s neck and tosses his eyes upstairs. “Let’s skip the foreplay, baby, and get to you plowing my ass.”
Hanzo splutters out a laugh, but promptly sweeps Jesse off his feet - amazingly with ease, Jesse can’t believe he doesn’t throw his back out - and takes him to their bed.

"I may have to steal one of these little guys from you one day, McCree!" Fareeha says, toying with Nash's feet while he squeals in delight. "I'm getting jealous watching you have such a wonderful family."
"Well it's about time you and your miss' have a little rugrat! I know Himari would be excited if you popped one out." He settled Reo in his stroller and looked back at his best friend and son, a smile on his face...
What Jesse hadn't expected was for Fareeha to fall silent and sigh. The moment fell tense and without warning, Fareeha was crying, picking Nash up to rock him on her shoulder. Jesse panicked, falling to her side and holding her arms.
"Hay, hay what's the matter?! There aint nothing to-"
"We can't have kids, Jess. Neither of us, it's just not in the cards." She sniffs back the tears and chews her lip. "I didn't think I wanted kids until I found out it wasn't possible. Now it breaks my heart I can't."
"Well, that's about the most you thing I ever heard! Stubborn as a bull, biology says one thing and you push back. But sugar, these things take time to think over, and you might get lucky one da-"
"It's been two and a half years, Jess. You had two babies accidentally between the time I was trying everything."
They go quiet. Jesse tries his best to console her but it doesn't seem there's much he can say.
What he hadn't been counting on however was his daughter wandering in with a grin on her face, falling into his lap.
"Daddy, daddy, why don't you give Fareeha a baby?! You're so good at making them."
Oh Christ, Jesse thinks. "It's not so easy to just-"
"You said the other day you miss having a baby in your tummy, this way you can be happy and help Fareeha!"
Oh double Christ. Jesse feels his throat begin to constrict. He chuckles awkwardly and takes Nash back from Fareeha, rocking him steady. He's not sure he likes the way she's looking at him.
"I loved carrying you and your brothers, but I'm not sure your papa would be pleased with me being pregnant again-"
"Wait, would you actually considering being a surrogate if Hanzo was okay with it though?!" Fareeha asked, her eyes lighting up. Himari beared all her teeth and looked between the two adults.
Oh fucking Christ.

What about a christmas spirit? First Christmas together, and Hanzo first commemoration after the tragedy. Fluffy, Agnst, do as pleased
(I'm gonna do more Christmas-y drabbles at a later date)
"Wouldn't you rather spend Christmas here though?" Hanzo asks as he watches his husband bath Cassidy. The overgrown canine shakes wildly and makes both men recall. Jesse grumbles as he grabs a towel and drys his face, before taking the shower head and drowning the dog in the sprays. She yelps and bites at the water, but accepts her fate ultimately.
"Our little pumpkin seeds were born on base, and we haven't had a family Christmas since Himari was a baby. It'd be nice to be with everyone!" Jesse turns off the shower and grabs the old towel on the sink, wrapping it around the soaked dog and drying her vigorously. "I think we need a big celebration, to put this year behind us."
"Yes," Hanzo drops against the door frame and sighs. "It has not been the most wonderful of times. I'm sorry for all the pain I have caused you, my love-"
"Oh shut your trap. We had some rocky moments, but I wouldn't take back any of it." He turns around and grabs Hanzo by the collar of his shirt, kissing him roughly with as much exaggeration as possible. "I guess I was just made to be knocked up or almost killed."
Hanzo rolls his eyes but rests his hands on Jesse's hips, stroking up the rim of his shirt to feel the skin of his love handles with his thumb. Jesse this time round hadn't bothered losing the baby weight as fast as he had with Himari or Austin, and quite honestly, Hanzo was glad. A guilty part of him adored the extra padding of his husband, and with Christmas soon to be, it was just another reason to pack on the weight and ravish his body in love. Jesse wasn't dumb either, catching Hanzo's eyes lingering longer, or how he'd become a lot more handsy, but he couldn't pretend he didn't like the attention.
As Hanzo goes to kiss his husband further, they hear a loud crash, followed by a high pitch whining. The two men rush to the scene in the living room, paying no attention to the drenched dog scrambling along side, and they're met with Himari waving a plush toy in the twins faces while the screech wildly, sat in their bouncer chairs, and Austin sits across the room wiping his eyes with the back of his hands. Hanzo falls to Austin's side while Jesse goes to the twins, holding a cheek each and shushing their wails.
"What happened, honeybee?" Jesse panics. Himari bites her lip nervously and looks over at Austin, shrugging, but Jesse knows a lie when he sees one. "Don't make me say all your names, missy. What happened?"
She groans, hands falling. "Reo threw a block at Austin, so Austin pushed their chair back."
Jesse's eyes flare in anger. He glares at his oldest son, cuddling into Hanzo burying most of his face in his chest. "Listen up, babybear, that weren't nice of you. If you want Santa to bring you your presents this year, you best treat the twins well, got it?"
Austin whimpers, but nods timidly against his fathers chest. In an awkward attempt to make things better, Jesse calls over Cassidy and sits her down beside him, trying to make the twins smile over the panting dog, and with some help from Himari, it ultimately works.
Later that evening when all the kids are asleep, Jesse and Hanzo crawl into bed and tangle themselves with one another, mumbling nonsense.
"Christmas on base?" Hanzo asks, barely audible. Jesse wraps his arms around his husband and kisses his forehead.
"Christmas on base. Ana bought some cute elf onsies for the twins, too, and Reinhardt won't stop begging to teach the other two to cook. It'll be sweet."
"Yeah...the whole family." Hanzo nuzzles into Jesse's chest further, and notes how his heart is beating wildly. "Are you nervous, my love? Christmas will be a treat."
"Nervous, of course not!"
"Well your heart is racing frighteningly fast. Is there something on your mind?"
"Oh no," Jesse sighs, a soft chuckle under his breath. "It's just tiring, four little'ns running all over the place. I'll be grateful for the size of the base to entertain the rugrats." He shuffles out of the hug to look at Hanzo and smiles, his eyes crinkling high. "Torb is bringing some of the grandkids too, and Fareeha will be begging to babysit with Brig, so we'll actually be able to rest."
"I see your intentions were more selfish than I thought," Hanzo jokes. He sits up and looks down at the man beside him, a devious smirk on his face. "And what do we do about the kid's presents?"
"Oh, Genji got that sorted. He picked up the load, they're already on base."
"Ah," Hanzo nods. "You really have thought of everything then?"
"No need to worry that pretty little face of yours," Jesse sits up and brings Hanzo in close, his free hand trailing up his inner thigh. "Now, how about you look in the bedside table and take out the early Christmas present I have for you."
Hanzo was nervous to return to Gibraltar after what happened a few weeks ago, but if the silicone toy in the drawer was just the beginning, he had a feeling the holiday would be a huge win for him- and the rest of his family.

"Why do ya think little Reo has a blue eye?" Jesse asks, changing the infants nappy as he lies in his back in their bed. Hanzo has Nash in his lap while Himari cuddles Austin, puppeting his hands to clap with Nash. The older man looks over at Jesse and hums.
"I am not sure. Perhaps it's just a birth defect. No matter, gives us a good tell to know which twin is which."
"Yeah, true..." Jesse sticks the fold down on his diaper and straightens his back. "You don't think it's some dragon shit, do ya?"
"Language." Hanzo scolds, coughs to clear his throat, and looks at the giggling child making grabbing hands for Jesse. "And unlikely. Himari and Austin show no physical traits toward the Shimada dragons."
It was more of a worry on Jesse's mind than he cared to admit, the whole "Shimada spirit dragon" gene his offspring seemed to posses. Since living back in their home the past few months, Jesse had been on red alert for the twins to show something similar to his other children's powers. It was frightening, given how determined the Shimada clan were to hunt down Himari and Austin's dragons. The twins were so small and fragile, only a few months old, he couldn't bare the thought of someone harming them. It was weird, but Jesse felt an unearthly connection to his newest sons, unlike what had been before. It wasn't a holy love of such, but rather a mighty will to be with them. Nash was his silent little prince, calm like a gentle ocean, and Reo was the light to a sun's rays. Maybe it was the stressful circumstances they were born under, but Jesse felt an odd obsession for the twins, like they had secrets only he could know in due time.
And Reo, with the one shimmering blue eye, Jesse was sure he saw a whole wild life of ocean life swim within his iris'.
Jesse picked Reo up and sighed, rocking the bouncing baby in his arms. He shook his finger in his face till Reo grabbed the thick appendage-
And Jesse saw a barrage of colours intertwining, blinding his sanity before revealing what seemed to be an older version of Hanzo hugging a small child, Himari coming up from behind, there in her teens, brandishing a sword. The lines of their figures shook, and before Jesse knew it, he was thrown back into the HD reality of his bedroom. He gasped, looking down at Reo.
Nothing but a sunny smile, and a twinkle in his eye.

Hanzo was shocked the first time he saw Jesse breastfeed both twins at the same time. There in their bedroom, flannel hanging off his shoulders, he cradles the two infants to his chest with his eyes slipped shut. Reo and Nash weren't much hassle, but that didn't mean Jesse wasn't exhausted looking after four kids all day.
It's sweet, seeing his husband in the glow of fatherhood. Their youngest sons unaware of the effects they have on his mind and body, just indulging in what they need. Hanzo crawls onto the bed and kisses Jesse on the temple, putting a hand on one of the boy's backs. Jesse lazily opens his eyes and smiles.
"Hay darling," he slurs past the gravel in his throat. "Fancy meeting you here."
"This is our bedroom, Jesse." Hanzo laughs. He keeps his hand on the back of Nash for support, and watches him fondly. The twins already seemed to be so big despite only being a few weeks old, and sometimes when he looked at them, doing the most mundane of things like sleep or breath, he'd get lost in a world win of gratitude. His family were perfect, and he couldn't believe the luck bestowed upon him to have such love in his life.
Jesse carefully rocked the twins in his arms as they feed, slowly pulling back Nash when he detached and slowly passed him to Hanzo. "He's been a touch fussy, but he's eating alright so that's good. You rock him to sleep, will ya?"
"Of course." Hanzo cradled the cooing baby in his arms and swung him softly in his arms, bouncing to help drift him off to sleep. "Anything for you."
Jesse smiles at Hanzo again, his lips lifting high despite the obvious exhaustion that posses every muscle he has. "I'm a lucky son of a gun to get a fella like you, ya know that?"
Hanzo would fight that he's the lucky one, but instead accepts the compliment, leaning over to kiss Jesse tenderly.

Hanzo was cradling Austin when he got the call. Their son of a few months old, their daughter colouring innocently, and himself, hollowed out when the words connect with his consciousness.
"The mission was a failure, Jesse's in intensive care. I'm sorry Hanzo...but we don't know if he'll pull through."
His body stiffened, and an icy ghost ran it's fingers over his skin. Suddenly his cosy home he'd filled with love was tainted by the anxieties that was potential loss. He quickly put Austin down with Himari and ran to their bedroom, slamming the door shut and taking a breath.
Then he screamed. It tore his throat apart. The specks of dust floating through the air are as heavy as the ash of those he'd lost, and with every breath he took, the sands of time absorbed another second of his life. He couldn't lose Jesse, that wasn't an option-- he would die without his husband. Life would turn bleak and meaningless without his smile every morning, ans he'd fall apart even with the love of his two darling children. No one to call them silly nicknames, God that was an obscure torture.
When he took Himari to see him, she cried rivers at his bedside. Jesse, who always seemed so strong and big, suddenly reduced to a fragile version of a stranger. The soft hum from the heart monitor made Hanzo nauseas.
"Please wake up, daddy." Himari sobbed, clambering on the bed and falling into his chest. "Don't leave me. Please don't."
The white of the hospital room consumed them like a plague. Himari's soft whimpers broke Hanzo's heart, he was a prisoner to his tears. He sat at the foot of the bed and rubbed Jesse's leg through the bed sheet.
"Come here, Himari."
"No! Wake up daddy, I don't want anything else but daddy to be okay!" Her face was bright red and she fell into a vicious cycle of crying so hard she lost her breath. Hanzo wanted nothing more than to hold her in his arms and sooth her broken heart, but he too was weak. The part of him that allowed trust and vulnerability was laying unconscious in a hospital bed, hooked up to a dozen different things.
Himari didn't leave Jesse that night. She screamed like someone had murdered her when Angela tried to usher her out, and Hanzo eventually convinced her to let her sleep with him that night. He picked up Austin from Genji and stayed in a spare dorm near the medical wing, and Himari lay on Jesse's chest all night, sobbing and mumbling prayers every couple of minutes.
"Please don't die, daddy," she said, taking his flesh hand into her own. "I know you're like a superhero, but you're my superhero too. Who will read me bed time stories? No one does the voice good like you."
Eventually exhaustion rendered her, and she went limp against his chest. The hospital room feel silent, haunted by sorrow and hopelessness, it seemed like it would last an eternity...
Until Jesse blinked his eyes open and groaned. After his eyes adjusting to the darkness, he noticed Himari on his chest and puts an arm around her.
Talon could try their hardest but Jesse would never leave his family without a fight. Bullets, explosives-- nothing compared to the will he had to protect his loved ones.

Jesse rolls over in their bed, hand going to his chest as he breathes heavily. His hair is a matted tangled mess, and sooner than expected he feels Hanzo's hands combing through the locks affectionately, one leg over his body pressing into him. Jesse lazily rolls his head to face his boyfriend and chuckles.
"If that didn't make us a baby then I dunno what will." Jesse jokes, taking Hanzo's hand and bringing it to his lips. Hanzo blushes slightly, nuzzling against Jesse's shoulder.
They decided that there was never going to be a good time for them to start a family, which meant any time was the time. After returning from Italy, they'd talked extensively about the logistics and concerns that may occur, which was an extensive list unfortunately. Jesse and Hanzo weren't blinded to their situation and the complications that may arise, but it was a step they were both ready to take. If it was always going to be hard, then there was no point waiting.
Hanzo had to be careful, though. It would be hard, and more so for them compared to most couples, and that meant delicate attention to detail. Through all their love making - even if it was just as pleasurable an experience as it was a task - Hanzo was always beyond in love with his partner, covering him in soft kisses to protect him, and words to act as a shield to the world around them. Others might judge, opinions may be shared, but Hanzo was always going to have his better half's back, through thick and thin.
There in their dorm room, Jesse smiles at him with such admiration, the jovial expression lights him up better than any glow will to come. His bare chest, mixed with sweat and muscle and scars alike, Hanzo can't take his eyes away from the sculpted perfection. He draws his fingers down Jesse's abdomen and softly strokes the soft skin. Jesse watches him, smirking, putting his hands behind his head.
"Take a look while you can, sugar, cause that there is about to blow up like a balloon."
Hanzo raises a brow, flattening his hand on his flat stomach. "You are going to look amazing carrying our child, my love. I can not wait."
"You aint gonna stray when I get fat, will ya?"
"How could you even think such a thing, of course not!"
"Just checking." Jesse sighs, resting his head back on the pillow. The feather light touch of Hanzo's hand, picking back up to run through the snail trail up his belly, he loves it. Such a intimate moment that can only be described with heart eyes and heavy breaths, Jesse drinks up the bliss. He never saw his life going the way it did, but he couldn't ask for anything better.
He leans up and looks at the bedside table. His cigar sits lonesome on the side, whispering sweet nothings to tempt him, and Hanzo notices promptly. He sits up and puts his arms around Jesse, kissing his neck while he mourns a love he was about to give up.
"One more aint gonna do no harm, right?" Jesse asks, the question absent for anything other than his own dusted hope. Hanzo snickers, nuzzling against Jesse's ear and nipping at the lobe.
"How about we switch positions for a round to take your mind of the cravings?"
Jesse's eyes go wide and he pounces into position, rummaging around the bedside drawer to find the equipment necessary to please his more than devoted boyfriend. A family was on the way, but for the time being they can just seal the envelope of their cosy love, as privately and wildly as they deemed fitting.

Where to start...
"You always look so happy when we are around children."
It really was a passing comment at the time, no real subsistence to it, and yet Jesse had straightened up in an instant like someone had run an electric shock through his spine. They were walking through the streets of Italy, taking a moment to enjoy the scenery before having to jump back into Overwatch missions. Jesse had just been caught in a very intense game of hop scotch with a few young girls on the street that liked his cowboy hat, and he was too weak willed to turn them down. Hence the questioning.
He shrugged, taking out a cigar to light. "Kids are cute, is all. You gotta be heartless to turn down those angels."
"Would you like to have your own children one day?"
God, Jesse was in danger of exposing too much. His heart twisted to impossible levels, almost coming up in his throat as an unsettled nausea churned up his stomach. He cut off their pace in walking to stop Hanzo, and laughed.
"You're being awfully noisy, aint'cha?"
"Am I?" Hanzo asked, innocent to any game Jesse believed he was playing.
"Yeah. Look, aint like anyone would wanna have a kid with me, so who cares? I put any hope of having a family out of mind a week into Blackwatch." He sighs. "I know you don't never want kids, either, so-"
"I've never said that." Hanzo interrupted, taking Jesse's hands in his own and lifting his chin to look into his eyes. Jesse tried to keep up the bravado but deep in the black of his pupils was a glimmer of insecurity. "To have a child would be an honour, and even more so if that person I shared the experience with were you."
There was a moment of absolute serenity hidden in the silence, before Jesse chuckled and shooed Hanzo playfully. "You've stuck with me a year and some, which is a wonder in itself. That's plenty, darling, you aint gotta make promises like-"
"I love you, cowboy. To start a family with you would be a dream come true." He tugged Jesse's hands to make him fall forward, and kissed him tenderly when their lips met. Slowly, indulging in the stars of the moment, Hanzo ran his hands up Jesse's arms and up his shirt, settling on his abdomen. Jesse smiled against his lips, pulling away but keeping their foreheads touching, and covered Hanzo's hands with his own. There was nothing between their palms, but it was as if a life had been created through their love, and both without words had the same idea...
Let's have a baby.
And two months later, Himari was conceived. Little did they know how extravagant their lives would become, and how fulfilling.

It's a nightmare come to life. Jesse has Austin on his lap when the alarms signal, and Himari who was sat on the chair reading a book jumps up immediately and runs to her father's side. The little boy snuggles up against Jesse instinctively, his hands over his chest, and Himari is watching the door for an intruder. The dull call of the alarm repeats for what feels like hours, and they all stay frozen to their spot.
Of course, Hanzo isn't there to help. Jesse would be angry if he wasn't overwhelmed by protecting the four kids under his care currently. Suddenly the alarms increase in pitch, and a second bell accompanied the first. He could hear from outside heavy footsteps in the distance running, and that's when he shifts his weight to get up. With Austin clung to him like a koala, he waddles to the medic room and holds the handle, listening close.
"Daddy, what's happening?" Himari asks, and when Jesse turns around to what he thought would be his daughter scared, he sees Himari with her fists clenched. Her expression is similar to Hanzo's when he's focused, with no emotion registered for him to read. Around her frame she begins to glow a pink light, and her spirit dragon emerges from her arm to wrap around her. Jesse watches, fascinated and a little weary, when suddenly he sees in the corner of his eye another luminous glow, and turns to see Austin's spirit dragon slithering around Jesse's neck, nuzzling against the scruff of his beard. Jesse watches the faint creature purr, and gently puts Austin down. As he straightens up, he places his hand flat against the small of his back and groans.
“It’ll be okay, darling. We just gotta stay put up in here, and wait for your papa to get ba-” but before he can finish his sentence, he’s struck by an internal pain that feels like a rupture through his gut. He holds his bump with both hands and tries to breath through the clenching in his belly. Himari rushes at his side, and as she gets to him, holding his arm where he’s slid down the wall, he feels a pop between his legs and a waterfall of water gushes down his trouser leg.
Shit. The worst thing to happen at the worst time. All Jesse can think is shit, along with a collection of other curses.
Gun fire announces from outside, the distant screams and calls of agents and enemies alike, and Jesse feels the most useless he ever has sat on the floor of the medical room with his two children, ready to give birth to twins that have no concept of time management. He tries to steady himself, but the second he pushes up to get back on his feet, the pain contracts again and leaves him screaming in agony. Himari’s dragon flares up as she watches him, and Austin’s does the same, more compassion than aggression. Tears begin to well in his eyes. He runs a hand through his hair and breaths heavily.
“I need the phone,” Jesse pants, waving over to the bedside table where his holographic phone sits. Austin toddles over and grabs it, nearly falling over his own two feet as he runs to hand it to him, and Jesse just about presses call when another contraction grips him. A few rings, then Hanzo’s voice comes through on a blue line.
“Jesse, the base is under attack. You need to-”
“Sorry to interrupt you, sugar, but it seems the recent rugrats thought it a good time to make themselves known!” Despite the flicker of a laugh on the end of his sentence, Jesse sounds absolutely shaken with fear. Through the line, he can hear the barrage of rockets where Fareeha has fired in the background, then a quick succession of Japanese as he finds Genji.
“Are you sure? Is it time? Where are you?” He can hear Hanzo running from the fight, accompanied by yelling that he guessed was Genji. Jesse rubs his stomach to try sooth the pain, his eyes going wide where the shape of his belly shifts more than noticeably and one of the twins begins to settle in position. God, his heart tastes like iron, he can barely breath with the nauseating lump in his throat.
“Jesus, Han, I don’t think I can do this,” His voice wavers in pitch, and the more worked up he gets, the more vibrant his children’s dragons become. The whole scene feels surreal, he’s not sure what to do or how to react. Suddenly, an ear shattering explosion bursts a few corridors away from theirs, and shakes all three of them to stumble. Jesse has spare arm around Austin where he’s fallen, and a leg propped out to balance Himari, still all the while his middle is contracting to bring him nothing but pain. Hanzo’s panicked shouts come through on the other end of the phone. “What’s going on?!”
“You are in danger, Jesse. The clan know we are here, and they’re not the only ones looking for us. You need to stay where you are!”
“I don’t plan on wandering off any time soon!” He grunts again, sitting up as his two children balance themselves. Austin rests his hands against Jesse’s bump, scrunching up his face, and slowly his dragon curls around the bump, glowing. He can feel a strange vibration coming from the spirit along with a tender warmth, and he looks down at the creature confused, chuckling weakly under his breath. “What’cha doing there, Babybear?”
Austin opens his eyes to look at Jesse, giving him a soft smile. “Helping."
Jesse raises his brow, but then he feels the pain start to slowly subside, and it becomes more of a dull thud through his bones. It's still recognisable, and Jesse has to grit his teeth and bare it, but the stinging continues to radiate ever so slightly. He hums in content, smiling down at the creature that continues to purr.
Himari takes the holographic phone from her father and responds to the distressed Hanzo on the other end. "Hello? Papa, it's me."
"Himari, are you all safe? Me and uncle Genji are coming for you. Where's Angela?"
"I don't know, papa. Austin's helping daddy with the pain. Shall I go look for Angela?"
"No!" Hanzo says. Another loud crashing cracks through the phone, making Himari flinch. Hanzo groans before coming back to her. "It is not safe out there. Bad people are looking for you and your brother's. You must stay with daddy."
"But the babies are coming? I can help-"
"Listen to what I say, Himari. You are not to leave the room."
She frowns, irritated by the harsh tone in his voice, and without thinking she hands the phone back to Jesse. The tranquility and unstable powers of Austin's dragon clouds Jesse judgement and leaves him dizzy. He takes the phone and smiles at her with a goofy grin, only straightening out when she places a hand on his chest and nods.
"Honeybee?"
"I will get Angela. Austin will protect you."
Jesse groans, grabbing her hand and pulling her close. The sound of Hanzo's angry voice calls out between them but they pay it no mind. "No, no, you gotta st-" but he's cut off by an agonising pang through his belly, radiating down to his legs and up his spine. Himari leans in and holds his face in her hands, watching as he cries, and squishes his cheeks softly.
"Trust me, daddy." And with a soft kiss to his forehead, she runs out the room to find someone who can help Jesse. Austin watches her in confusion, and his anxieties begin to effect the strength of his dragon. As the power fades, Jesse feels the true wrath of his contractions render him, and he bolts forward holding his bump, practically screaming to the point of his lungs bursting. Austin stumbles backward, whimpering at the sight of his dad in such pain. Hanzo's voice still calls through the holographic phone, but no one answers him. All there is is the distressed cries of Jesse, explosions slowly getting closer and closer, and Hanzo desperately calling for someone to answer him...
-
It's all a daze after that. Jesse falls in and out of consciousness with little time to comprehend what's around him, and the few sights he beholds distort alongside his sanity. Through the thick of his pain, he sees flashing orange lights wrap around him like a blanket, and as a fiery explosion shakes the floor, a thunderous roar calls out louder. Pink beams shine through the windows faintly, then blue and green, and the last thing he remembers is Austin's voice as he whispers "It's okay"...
-
Hanzo doesn't know how to calm himself when he finally gets to the medical bay. Him and Genji are both drenched in the blood of their enemies, and despite the sounds of war dying out around them, Hanzo is still filled with unnerving rage as he runs up the stairs. Time may as well slow down the closer he gets.
He throws himself at the room Jesse was in and freezes to see the back of a woman over his body. He pulls out a bow and holds it at her head, cursing in Japanese. Luckily, Genji grabs the weapon and lowers it.
"It's Angela." He says. The two men stare at her as she turns around, carrying two children in her arms, and suddenly any sound that there was falls silent. Hanzo's body goes weak at the sight. There, in the flesh, are his twins, nuzzled up in Angela's arms. Both fresh faced and tiny, they practically glow in a wholesome shade.
As Hanzo steps forward, a loud yell comes from behind and a man dressed in black emerges, wielding a sword. Hanzo reacts by raising his bow, but is beaten to the kill when Himari bolts through his legs and stabs the man in the leg with a Kunai. Her dragon wraps around her arm and strikes the assassins limb alongside the weapon. He stumbles to the floor in pain, and before he can grab his weapon again, Hanzo has his foot on his hand, a bow aiming between his eyes. The lock eyes, and the stranger grins, chuckling darkly.
"Why are you coming for my family?" Hanzo asks, pulling back the bow. Another dark chuckle, going on and on with no resolution, prompting Hanzo to fire his bow straight between his eyes, killing him instantly. An erie silence, a clutching tension, and then he takes a deep breath.
"Hanzo, Jesse's not doing too well." Angela says, and that makes him turn around and rush to his husband's side. Jesse is a wreck - his hair matted and his skin ghostly white, the sweat that drips down his face glazes him with a horrific shine. He drops to his side and takes his hand, holding it to his lips.
"Jesse? Jesse, speak to me!"
A light groan, Jesse rolls his head on his shoulder and smiles deliriously. "I'm okay, sugar tits. Just a little," he gags, "woozy. Think I lost a loooooootta blood." He giggles, squeezing Hanzo's hand. "But at least the love bugs are fine and good and dandy. Hay, you wanna know the name I picked?"
Hanzo cups his hands and nods. "Tell me."
Jesse bites his lip and weakly nods at the twins. "The little guy with the most hair? And the one blue eye? That's your son, Reo."
And before Hanzo can celebrate, Jesse passes out. He shakes him vigorously, practically crying, and Himari tugs on his leg to pull him back.
"He's okay, papa. Just needs rest."
Hanzo doesn't know how to register the moment. He holds his head in his hands and cries at Jesse's bedside, his body shaking. There was too many emotions soaring through his body, he would have to save his celebration for the birth of his sons when Jesse recovers. What a way to welcome Reo and Nash to the world...

Hanzo was busy unpacking boxes in their living room - the last of what they'd taken to Gibraltar and the dozens of gifts their friends had bought them - and when he decides to take a break, he walks upstairs to see how Jesse was getting on.
What he found though, spread out on the nursery floor with no shame, was Jesse snoring, one of the twins asleep in his chest. It was a sight to behold, catching Hanzo's heart strings and pulling so hard he almost tripped over nothing. Jesse had his hat tilted to cover his face, one arm slung over the infant using him like a cushion, while the other lay lazily across the floor, a plush toy sat in his open palm. Hanzo couldn't help but snicker at the scene. Now that they have their twins in the flesh, all the drama dispensing and leaving them with the happy mist of parenthood, it was hard to let either baby go for more than a second.
Hanzo gently picked the infant up from Jesse and rocked him. Little Nash, mumbling nonsense in his sleepy state as Hanzo replaced the warmth of Jesse's chest for his own cot. Nash easily settled for the new scene, stopping his soft whimpers and falling back into his deep sleep, to Hanzo's pleasure. He was so precious- as was Reo, and he counted his lucky stars to have such a wonderful family around him.
He sat beside Jesse and softly presses a kiss to his forehead, waking him up as he strokes the fuzz of his beard with his thumb. Jesse mumbles, before smiling up at his husband in a dreary state.
"Aint you a beauty to wake up to." Jesse smiles, biting his lip. He stretches his arms out to crack his back, his shirt riding up to expose the soft squish of his abdomen, and then snaps back to neutral. "Where the littlen's at?"
"Himari and Austin are still out with Fareeha. The twins are two feet away from you." Hanzo laughs. He pulls one of Jesse's arms to prop it over his shoulder, and lifts him up carefully, practically carrying him out the room. "Let's get you to our bed. Much better than the floor, especially in terms of for your back."
"You sure always know what's best, dont'cha?" Jesse yawns, sneaking a kiss to Hanzo's cheek when he gets the chance.
Yepp, life felt like absolute bliss.

Jesse was fast asleep when he heard the distinct sound of glass shattering from downstairs. In an instant - or as fast as his body would allow him - he shot up right and froze, listening for another sound. His worries were confirmed when the soft squeak of the floorboards creaking in slow succession called through, and instinctively he grabbed his gun from the bedside drawer. He looked over to his husband who was fast asleep, and gently shook him awake. Groggy, Hanzo moaned and rolled over, hand instinctively going to Jesse's bump.
"Are you okay, my love?" He said through the thick of sleep. Jesse took the hand resting on his belly and pulled him up, cocking his gun. The sound of the shells in the barrel woke Hanzo up fully though better than any cup of coffee could, and put his hands on Jesse's shoulders. "What are you doing-"
"Get to Himari and Austin. There's someone downstairs." Jesse threw the covers off his body and with great difficulty stood, throwing a hoodie on. Hanzo watched him, baffled, before shooting up and holding Jesse's arm to keep him back. Another muffled crash was heard downstairs, making both men go wide eyed.
"Jesse, you are 8 months pregnant," Hanzo whispered, taking the gun from his hand. "I will inspect the scene."
"Darling, you're in a better condition to protect the kids."
"That does not matter, you are carrying two of our children as it is!"
"Ain't a problem I got an obstacle on my hips, I'll gun down whoever is putting our family in danger." He took the gun back and before Hanzo could stop him further, he left the bedroom and made his way downstairs, as nimble as he possibly could given his size. Hanzo's heart was racing but he didn't ponder too long, his legs taking the initiative to protect his children.
He entered Austin's room first, picking the toddler up and holding him against his chest before sneaking into Himari's bedroom and barricading the door. His better judgement told him to help Jesse, but he had such a determined look in his eye, he had no reason to dispute his instructions.
Himari cuddled up into Hanzo, trying to hold back the tears of her worries, when suddenly a loud crack erupted from down stairs, followed by a gun and Jesse yelling. Hanzo held his children closer to him, until another pained whine broke the tension and he ran out of the bedroom in a hurry. He closed the door behind him as his daughter called out in panic. Hanzo cursed himself as he stumbled down the stairs, and as he got into the living room, there he found a man dressed in royal robes laying dead on the floor. He stared at the corpse in disbelief, until Jesse's weak moan alerted him and he ran to his side where he was leaning against the kitchen counter, holding his stomach. Hanzo held his face in his hands, inspecting him for any marks but thankfully came to find nothing.
"Jesse, are you okay? I should have come with you, that man could have-"
"We gotta move back to Gibraltar." Jesse interrupted. Hanzo frowned, but was silenced when Jesse pushed past him, kicking the man to roll onto his front. "You still got some enemies gunning for ya, Han. Seems word's gotten out there's a wrangle of Shimada heirs, and your clan are on the look." Jesse took a deep breath and pinched the bridge of his nose, dropping to sit on the sofa. Hanzo stood in front of his husband, eyes going between the assassin on the floor and Jesse's distressed state.
"But...I do not understand, they are no longer-"
"Don't deny the facts, Hanzo, there's a fucking dead guy on our floor. Look, I'm about to drop any day now, and I gotta keep our family safe."
The tension between them fell cold. Hanzo was silent for an.awkwardly long time, and when he went to sit beside his husband, Jesse stood up and moved. Hanzo didn't follow him. He stayed put and listened to his husband embrace his distressed children, and eventually decided to clean up the destruction of the living room, staring with the dead body.
He couldn't understand, after all that time, why were they suddenly on his tail now?

For a prompt, how about Jesse lets the kids paint on his belly before he gives birth, to try and calm them down after the intruder came
Hanzo watches as his two children paint with glee the spherical canvas that is Jesse’s bump, his own expression amused for the first time in a while. Himari takes her time to decorate the expanse of skin with purple flowers, slightly smudged but delicately placed nevertheless. Using the start of his stretch marks, the green vine runs up his skin to curl around the front, and small flowers litter the vine to give it life. A few times the twins kick out and stretch the paint, but she laughs it off and tells them to be patient with her master piece.
Austin however decides that a paint brush isn’t enough, and covers his hands in the paint to spread over Jesse’s belly. He’s careful about pressing against him, given Jesse’s battered and bruised and hooked to hospital equipment, and leaves hand prints every clear space there is. A few of the hands get connected by curling lines, but it’s his tiny signatures that define the art.
One side of Jesse is a cluster of messy hands, and the other are flowers. Perfect.
Hanzo had been given the cold shoulder the past few days, and it was eating him up inside having his husband mad at him. On the one hand, he’s annoyed himself - by no means had he asked for a dangerous man to invade their home and by all intensive purposes, attempt to kill them - but on the other hand, he understands Jesse’s attitude. His body is flooded with hormones, he can’t help feeling how he does, and this time there’s a lot more rationality to the anger, as opposed to the likes of arguing over who finished the milk. Seeing Jesse with a smile on his face made his chest fill with flutters.
With a content smile and a deep sigh, Himari admires their work and looks at Jesse. “You like it, Daddy?” She asks. He snickers, running his hand through her hair.
“Absolutely, honeybee. Y'all are a pair of artists, I tells ya.” He looks over at Austin briefly, smiling when he giggles, and when he returns his eyes to Himari, her face has fallen. “What’s with the sad eyes, darling?”
Hanzo slowly approaches the bed and bends down to her level, putting his arm around her. Austin looks up from his own peaceful state to watch his sister worry, his face falling in unison. Himari’s lip wobbles, and soon she’s sniffling back weak tears as they fall down her cheeks. “I should have done more to protect you. I could have helped you, and you wouldn’t be hurt now if I did.” She wipes her eyes and looks over her shoulder at Hanzo, wrapping her arms around his neck when he offers her a hug. Jesse watches her cry into his neck, astonished by the statement, and swallows down his own emotion bubbling up.
“Himari, baby, look at me.” He rests his hand on her cheek when she faces him, brushing away the tears that fall down her cheeks. “It’s not your job to protect me, okay? Me and your papa watch out for you two, not the other way around. That bad man weren’t gonna do no harm to me, you know that. I’m tough, honeybee! Not a soul alive that could tear me away from what I’ve got right here in front of me.” He gingerly sits himself up, wincing as a soft spike of pain clutches his side, and puts his arms around both his children. “No more tears, ya hear little lady? I’m already a mess of emotions, don’t go making it worse!”
She giggles, wiping her face of the tears and smiles softly. Austin is watching her, before reaching his sticky hand out for her to take. She eyes it for a second, but ultimately takes his kind gesture and there’s a soft squelch as they clasp hands.
Hanzo walks up to Jesse’s headboard and brushes back his hair, admiring him in all his glory. Although he’s a little weary, Jesse leans back into him and lets out the tight breath he’d been holding in his chest.
He doesn’t say anything while his children are present, but after Fareeha takes them away and Jesse cleans himself of the multitude of colours from his huge belly, Hanzo holds him close and makes him a promise.
“I will end them all, Jesse. You have my word, no one will dare come for our family again.”
And Jesse believes him. The best he can with the bolder between them, he kisses Hanzo deeply, overwhelmed by a consuming passion when his husband’s hands fall to his hips. He smiles into the kiss, pulling away only when there’s a particularly strong kick that shifts his belly, making him hold the bump for support. Hanzo rests his hands either side of his belly, and kneels down to be eye level, kissing the stretched skin.
Jesse tuts, laughing. “Talk to Winston about it before you go off on a one man war, will ya? I’m sure he can put together a mission brief for it.”
“It is my fight, no one else-”
“You have a family, Hanny. I’m near to popping, and I aint ‘bout to be a widow with four kids just cause you are to stubborn to accept help.” He takes Hanzo’s hands when he stands back up. “Get me into bed before Angela ties me down, and get some rest. The morning ya get the team together, okay?”
He hesitant, but ultimately accepts. Jesse is right, and so he does exactly as he’s told, starting with getting Jesse back to bed.
