Acura Integra Type S HRC Concept, 2024. Developed by Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) in California and presented at Monterey Car Week, a track focused version of the Integra. Weight has been reduced nearly 200lbs thanks to the use of carbon fibre and removal of the air-conditioning and rear seats. There's increased downforce and improved aerodynamics based on the Integra Type S TCX race car in addition to a larger intercooler, twin oil coolers and a tuned, lightweight cat-back exhaust system. All of this previews a "potential" range of HRC accessories for Integra Type S

Why is people surprised Luca got a 2 year deal with Honda? When he was first approached, he said he was flattered but he wasn't going to move team when he was offered only 1 year. No rider (except Diggia) wanted a 1 year deal.

Rumours got more intense when the 1 year became 2, and then the negotiations started.

Luca is not stupid (in fact he is smarter than everyone credits him). You can't turn a bike in 1 year, experts says you need AT LEAST 3, so probably if he does a good job they will gave 1 year extension (to be in sync with the other riders for the 2026 contracts negotiations).

Honda is betting on having a sensitive rider (Luca said he's one) and with technical knowledge and the concessions that are rumoured they're getting

I had heard this before, that as long as Vale was in Yamaha (or is Yamaha), no Márquez was allowed, he same way that Luca wouldn't have got that Honda offer with Marc still in the team. Or look at the extres Honda has gone to swap places and crews between Joan and Luca to assure no one from "Marc's team" has to work with Valentino's younger brother

So, RNF was keen on signing up with Alex, but Yamaha was like “NO MARQUEZ FAMILY TO BE IN YAMAHA” and vetoed the idea. Is this some medieval family feud or what?
