Creating an Oasis: Designing Your Smart Indoor Gardening System
Tumblr media
Transform your living space into a lush oasis of greenery and tranquility with a carefully designed smart indoor gardening system. Explore the key elements to consider when designing your indoor garden and discover how to create a harmonious and thriving environment for your plants.
Choosing the Right System: Selecting the perfect Smart Indoor Gardening System is the first step in creating your oasis. Consider factors such as size, style, and functionality to find a system that fits seamlessly into your home.
Whether you opt for a countertop herb garden, a vertical hydroponic setup, or a fully automated indoor greenhouse, choose a system that suits your space and gardening preferences.
Selecting Plants and Layout
Once you've chosen your system, it's time to select the plants that will inhabit your indoor garden. Consider factors such as light requirements, growth habits, and aesthetic appeal when choosing your greenery.
Experiment with different plant combinations and layouts to create visual interest and balance in your indoor garden, incorporating a mix of herbs, vegetables, and ornamental plants to suit your tastes.
Optimizing Light and Environmental Conditions
Light is essential for plant growth, so it's important to ensure that your indoor garden receives adequate illumination. Assess the natural light conditions in your home and supplement as needed with artificial lighting.
Position your indoor garden near windows or under grow lights to provide your plants with the optimal amount of light for healthy growth, and monitor environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity to create a comfortable and conducive environment.
Customizing Your System
Personalize your smart indoor gardening system to reflect your unique style and preferences. Add decorative elements such as planters, trellises, and decorative accents to enhance the visual appeal of your indoor garden.
Incorporate smart features such as automated watering systems, nutrient monitors, and remote control capabilities to streamline maintenance and ensure the health and vitality of your plants.
Creating a Maintenance Routine
Regular maintenance is key to keeping your indoor garden thriving. Develop a maintenance routine that includes tasks such as watering, pruning, and fertilizing to keep your plants healthy and happy.
Set reminders or schedule automated tasks to stay on top of maintenance chores, and take time to observe and interact with your plants to monitor their progress and address any issues that arise.
Designing your smart indoor gardening system is an opportunity to create a personalized oasis that brings beauty, tranquility, and vitality into your home. By carefully selecting plants, optimizing environmental conditions, and customizing your system to suit your style and preferences, you can create an indoor garden that nourishes the body, mind, and soul.

Well, to all my new followers, welcome! I am unbelievably glad to have you in my little corner of Tumblr. I'd love to talk about the 3D print process and all that jazz, but is there anything in particular you want to hear from me? Product/collecion releases are a given. So are teasers. I don't want you all to get bored!

I'm not saying my boss is an asshole, but he's currently talking about being a digital nomad, and finding a space where he can just relax and BE, while also hitting peak productivity.
So he's working from a Ferrari showroom this week 🙄🫠

hella I keep getting edits with some sort of original version of waiting room?? on my fyp and I'm gonna be honest waiting room wasn't a song that did me in quite as badly as the rest of you but this version I keep hearing literally rips my heart straight open😭😭 like I've been planning on fixing the no waiting room on spotify issue by taking it into my own hands🏴‍☠️ but now I know it's gonna have to be this version I'm not even bothering with lost ark waiting room. it's just gonna be waiting room og bc what the fuck?? "I never grew up with you, and you're not my waiting room" what the fuck??? with the haunting background noises literally WHAT THE FUCK????????
OMG IVE SEEN THAT ONE everyone keeps going on about the vocals of 'and you're not my waiting room' but i really cant get over 'i never grew up with you' like what??? WHAT??????
#for some reason i rlly connected this song to a childhood friend of mine that im pretty sure ive at least vaguely mentioned on here before#but basically we were INSEPERABLE for years of my childhood and he was about 2 years older than me#so i think i was 5 and he was 7 when we met and we stayed friends until i went up to secondary school so SIX YEARS#and we literally spent all day together we'd play in the gardens and run about the place and we were both really outdoorsy#and obvs it was before proper tech really started coming in so it was when kids literally just got shoved outside for the day#and left to their own devices and it was GREAT like i remember him and that time so fondly#but he was also really messed up like he'd come from a lot of foster homes and he'd had every kind of abuse#and he'd finally been adopted by the couple on my street who just couldn't handle him bc their answer to his issues#was to spoil him and give him what he wanted so he just got worse bc he had a real violent streak in him#and obvs if you let that grow in a boy they're not gonna wake up one day and it'll be gone like. it's going to get malicious#and low and behold he started getting like actually dangerous like he choked his sister once and he got kicked out of school#bc he threated to BEHEAD A GIRL WITH AN AXE like really fucked up shit#but i was in a pick me moment bc he was always really nice and respectful to me until he wasnt#and even then ive never ever blamed him for it bc we were both young and he was so traumatised#and sooner or later we stopped hanging out and my mum was relieved bc that's how bad he was getting#and ive literally never spoken to him again. but he's just one of those people i think about all the time????#like idk if it's bc of what went down or bc of the age i was but he was a HUGE deal to me and my development#and for some evil fucking reason i think of him when i listen to waiting room especially the 'i know it's for the better'#bc i KNOW it's for the better i got away from him before he got really bad but still i so desperately wish i couldve helped him yk?#especially now i understand what abuse actually means and what he'd suffered which i had no idea about at the time#SO TO ADD 'I NEVER GREW UP WITH YOU' WHEN I FEEL LIKE I ABANDONED HIM AS CHILDREN?? STOPPPP#PHOEBE PLEASEEEE#anyway unnecessary rant over rori pls pirate this song for the masses pls pls the world needs you#ask

Everyone will leave me behind, right?
Tumblr media
You overheard Satoru talking to Yuji. Why did he always feel like he was unloved? You didn’t want to leave him behind, ever. You wanted to be a part of his love and his dreams, but you couldn’t muster up the courage to tell him how you felt. You were his fellow teacher, his confidante, his friend. No way you’d ruin the deepest relationship you’ve had with someone over your feelings, which may or may not be reciprocated.
The battle ended, and the King of Curses had been defeated. Megumi was back, courtesy of Yuji and Nobara. Satoru made it out alive, but just barely.
When you saw the world slash almost hit him, you felt your heart drop to your stomach. There was no way you could accept him being gone, and no way you’d let that happen.
You had launched an attack of your own to divert Sukuna’s slash, which prevented a critical hit for Satoru. This allowed the others to take over, and defeat the King once and for all, whilst you accompanied Satoru out of the battle.
Finally, after all was over, you didn’t waste a single second and spent the whole time by Satoru’s side. You stayed with him at Shoko’s clinic, took care of him and waited for the perfect moment to tell him how you felt.
You waited until he spoke to the students, tossing their letters away since they didn’t need to read them after all. He settled things with the remaining sorcerers, and finally found a moment of peace.
You found him that evening, taking a stroll through the beautiful gardens of Jujutsu Tech. He looked angelic in the soft moonlight, and you felt your heart skip a beat. He beamed ecstatically as he saw you come into view, and walked to you.
You smiled at him and held his hand, leading him to your favourite place in the garden, a secluded spot with a few stone benches and raking vines. You sat close to him and gulped.
“Everything is over now huh?” You whispered.
“We’re all okay. It’s over.” He replied, matching your octave.
“I know what you said to Yuji.” You felt your heart race as you continued.
“I don’t know if what I’m about to say means anything to you, but I want you to know that you’re always going to be a part of my life, Toru. Everytime I picture my future as a sorceress, no matter who else is a part of it, I know for certain you will be. All the uncertainty that we have as sorcerers means nothing to me, because I never considered that you wouldn’t be there. If everyone else thinks of you as ‘The Strongest’, just know that I always think of you as Satoru. I love you, and I always want you to be a part of my life, as I am of yours.”
You stared into his eyes, scanning for any change of emotion, confusion, sadness, maybe even anger. But there was nothing. He turned his head away and looked to the sky.
Confused, and still rattled from your confession, you got up and stood right in front of him.
Your eyes widened as you saw the expression on his face.
Big, fat tears rolling down his temples and into his hair as he stared into the sky. His lips, red with the constant assault of his teeth. My god, you made him cry. You had never seen him cry, and you never would have thought he cried like this.
Your face grew worried as you cupped his cheeks.
“Toru, I’m sorry if that was too much. Please don’t cry?” You tried to console him.
Suddenly, he stood up and wrapped his strong arms around your body. He buried his face into your neck and sobbed quietly. You held him tight, growing more worried by the second.
“Thank you, y/n. You truly don’t know how much that means to me. I want you to be a part of my life as long as I live. You’re my dream.”
You pulled away from him, eyes welling up with tears. You reached out to touch his face, and wiped his beautiful eyes. He smiled at you so softly you could swear he was an angel.
He bent down and kissed you, as if he was waiting his whole life for you. You wrapped your arms around him as you deepened the kiss.
“Let’s go home.”

We take a break from our regularly scheduled programming to introduce to you our most fabulous boy, Friedrich 'Freddy' the Alocasia Micholitziana, also known as the Frydek. We've seen some discussion in social media about Frydeks are only the variegated type of Micholitzianas, but we're not wading into that fight so we're mentioning both! 😆
Tumblr media
Friedrich was the inspiration behind our logo (you could say those leaves are ICONIC!) and continues to bring us delight and joy every day -- he's continuously popping bigger and bigger leaves and with 6 babies in the pot with him, you can imagine how much watering they need. But we can't bear to part them.
Friedrich is our very favorite plant and we're not ashamed to admit it. We love him.
We'll be introducing our other plant buddies periodically, so keep an eye out!

"Any good gardener knows what a good de-weeding can do for a vegetable garden. As it turns out, it’s much the same for coral reefs.
Following a volunteer “sea-weeding” program launched in Australia, scientists are witnessing compounding coral recovery both in quantity and diversity, and suggest that this simple method has the power to transform degraded reefs overrun by macroalgae.
In a balanced ecosystem, macroalgae is kept in check by the size and health of corals, but as extreme weather events or coral bleaching causes some sections of reef to die, macroalgae has no other neighbor keeping a check on its spread.
Over a period of three years, the joint Earthwatch Institute program led by James Cook University Senior Research Officer Hillary Smith and Professor David Bourne, also at JCU and the Australian Institute of Marine Science, has organized volunteer citizen scientists to help remove macroalgae at two experimental reef sites.
The results of the first three years of work and study have now been published in the Journal of Applied Ecology, and they show a 600% increase in coral recovery rates.
“It’s just like weeding your garden,” Smith said. “Every time we return, the seaweed is growing back less and less, so this method could provide lasting benefit without requiring endless effort.” ...
The importance of the study, Smith details, is that a lot of reef recovery efforts globally are powered by expensive, high-tech, and experimental solutions. The study hoped to show that manual de-weeding was just as effective, and thereby encourage organizations or nations that lack the tech or funding of a country like Australia to pursue sea-weeding as a way of protecting their corals.
“We have yet to see a plateau in coral growth within these plots at Magnetic Island, which is characterized as one of the degraded reefs on the Great Barrier Reef,” Smith said. “We also found an increase in coral diversity, so this method is benefitting a wide range of different coral types.”
Smith said her team are now scoping other locations where the sea-weeding technique could be useful, including the Whitsunday Islands, which are home to a different species of predominant seaweed.
They also want to employ them in French Polynesia, Indonesia, and even Singapore, where experts have identified out-of-control macroalgae spread along coral reefs."
