PizzeRizzo is Great if You Love Mediocre Cafeteria Pizza!
There are a lot of great restaurants at Disney World. This is not one of them.
Yeah I said it indirectly: PizzeRizzo is terrible. It’s not great. If I had kids and fed them this, I’d be afraid of being charged with child neglect. Some argue this place is great if your child is hangry and you just need to feed them something. But honestly, anything else you feed your child would be better than this. Spoiler alert: there were two decent menu items here. First, though, we need…

WGA has called for a strike. Remember that the writers do not wish for a strike (as WGA East reminded everyone) and that this is a result of the AMPTP's insufficient responses to the proposals and requests from the WGA.
The WGA is fighting to ensure that writers receive fair compensation and to improve working conditions that have been eroded for the profit of streaming services. See these articles for a quick rundown of what has led to the strike and what the WGA is asking for: Variety, New York Times, WGA West linktree.
Commentary of "nobody in Hollywood writes anything good anyway" and "this isn't going to improve all the shit television" and "the writers always complain" is not only counterproductive but actively anti-union conversation in favor of the studios, so don't try it — especially not about a strike called on International Workers' Day.

So y’all fw some MORE Mr. Puzzles headcanons?
Cause I got some :]
Even though he streams his content, Mr. Puzzles hates streaming over normal television and believes it ruins the momentum. The only thing he appreciates about streaming is the lack of ads. No matter how bad the ratings are, Puzzlevision is an ad-free service!
To add, product placement is a no-go. Any products he might advertise on a show are all Puzzlevision branded, not that he’d advertise much. He’s a smart business man, which I’ll go in-depth with another time.
He’s all about authenticity with his actors an really hates big-time celebrities. Celebrities are snobbish and aren’t easy for Puzzles to handle. He also doesn’t want people to engage with his shows solely because of famous names. The day he hires a celebrity is the day he becomes a sellout, and the idea of selling out terrifies him.
Mr. Puzzles does an extensive background check of every single cast member he recruits. Not just because he’s trying to find the perfect actors, but because he’s trying to find people that wont be missed if they mysteriously disappear for long periods of time. After a cast’s likability begin to dwindle, Puzzles brings them back as if nothing happened. Previous cast members won’t remember their time at Puzzlevision and have a hazy memory for a bit before they adjust to normal. If they watch a show that they’ve been in, they’re so disconnected from the show that they won’t recognize themselves. However, Puzzles is careful to avoid reruns after switching casts.
He absolutely hates reality tv for multiple reasons. It’s the farthest thing from reality, everything is so fake, and the writing is HORRIBLE! If the audience demands it, he’ll make a reality tv show, but it would be one of the few things he wouldn’t mind not hitting 5 stars. The less creative impact he has on the show, the less he cares for it.
He prefers live-action over animation, but highly respects animated shows.
He likes movies but heavily prefers tv since television has always been frowned upon within Hollywood and the entertainment industry (It’s actually interesting to know the beef between movie studios and tv, I recommend checking it out. To put in into perspective, picture the Disney theatre movies vs the straight to video movies: there’s a huge difference and it’s somewhat obvious of the cash-grab tv movies/shows are. The purpose of tv has always been a quick cash grab, actually. Kinda like the first content farm, to an extent). Puzzles wants to prove that television is a respectable media outlet and shouldn’t be frowned upon within the industry.
He is familiar with almost any televised language. The only major issue is that, yes, he needs subtitles to completely understand. However, he can hold a relatively decent conversation in most languages, he’d just need a few refreshers.
Already talked about it last post but he likes to cook and really enjoys cooking/baking shows. Y’know that thing where you’re good at one but not as good at the other cause they’re so different (you cook to your liking vs following a strict recipe for the best dessert outcome)? I feel like Puzzles would be perfect at baking alone but any baking show he does goes to absolute shit. However, he’s not as great at cooking alone (since he can’t taste) but it much better with a sous-chef guiding him.
This was someone else’s hc (I don’t remember who’s, I’m srry), but they brought up that the order of shows Mr. Puzzles makes with the SMG4 crew reflect the shows he watched growing up (the kids-y shows, family disney-type movies, teen stuff like Scooby-doo, and gameshows). I’d like to add that he enjoys making gameshows the most because he can be the main character in every episode, and everyone’s reactions are the most genuine. The only thing I can see Puzzles not liking is the lack of creativity (similar to reality tv). However, it would be pretty fitting for a production company called Puzzlevision to make game shows.
This one’s gonna be a little bit more depressing. No matter how hard he tries or how good he thinks his writing is, Mr. Puzzles cannot write anything original. It’s the curse of seeing every piece of televised media to ever be produced. He tries his best to be original but as the puzzlevision arc continues, he gradually stops trying to be original, which is what ultimately causes him to lose. While Puzzles keeps trying to copy other successful media and failing, it’s the originality the SMG4 crew produce that gets them to 5 stars (and extremely quickly, too). Puzzles fails to realize that the shows he loves and tries to replicate were original, too, and that’s what got them to succeed in the first place. I feel like this success from SMG4’s originality is what sparked Mr. Puzzles’ envy in the first place.
To add to this, Puzzles has been canonically spying and interfering with the SMG4 crew for a while (selling them the showgrounds, the cursed keyboard in the ITS GOTTA BE PERFECT arc, the Western Spaghetti arc), and is almost a direct parallel to SMG4. They both was to succeed and produce original content, striving for perfection. The only major difference is that Mr. Puzzles has been alone for the majority of his life whereas SMG4 has his crew. Despite this, however, SMG4 still snaps and isolates himself similarly to how Puzzles takes complete creative control.
Not having a proper friend/support group is also what causes Puzzles to fail, isolating himself from the rest of the world. Even though we don’t see much of the studio, it’s still pretty run down and barren, implying that Puzzles doesn’t spend much time there, if at all. Puzzles spends most of his time in the shows, directing/acting/ect, and avoiding the real world where he doesn’t have control. When he’s in the real world and bored, he dissociates a lot, planning out his next big projects.
To add, he’s not a big fan of modern technology as a whole, and sticks to older tech (like the older computer model in the teaser between the scooby episode and the gameshow episode and his head being an older computer). Same goes for the studio. I can totally see him walking into the decrepit building with the real estate agent being like “this building hasn’t seen the light of day since 200 b.c,” and Mr. Puzzles ecstatically goes “I’ll TAKE IT!” He’d also do his own renovations and film it for an abandoned house-flipping series, scrapping it later because he sucks at renovating.
He can’t take constructive criticism if his life depended on it. He tries, but all he thinks is “well these people just don’t understand TRUE art in this world!”
He can play shows/movies in the back of his mind whenever, and often does if he’s not on set. Y’know that reddit/tumblr post about the kid who memorized Shrek so much that he could just watch it from memory and his dad would catch him at the 37:14 mark and be like “stop watching shrek and go to bed,”? Yeah, Puzzles is like that. Only difference is that he can’t pause it, only tune it out.
He’ll watch them, but found-family sit-coms depress him. Shows like Friends, It’s Always Sunny in Philly, etc remind him of what his life could’ve been if he could’ve made friends properly.
To add to this, y’know how he projects himself in his shows? What if he did that with shows like Friends, where he’s a part of the cast and laughing along. He’d do it in his sleep and not even realize it’s a dream until the episode ends and he wakes up alone. :,]
On a lighter note, older tvs release a light frequency that gets louder the older it gets. Mr. Puzzles probably hums a frequency without realizing it that people can only hear if they’re close and he isn’t babbling away. Older tvs also kinds adjust(?) where they slightly creek a lil. Mr. Puzzles probably does, to, and it’s the equivalent of him cracking his neck.
He’s also more prone to shock people slightly, depending on how manic he is. If he rubs his gloves together he’s practically a battery.
He has a daily care routine that involves him carefully wiping his screen with windex.
These ones are more show/content based. If these continue to do well I’ll post some more general and maybe relationship hcs :]. If you guys have any suggestions/questions/critiques please let me know!

Masterlist
___
Fancy hotel suites might just be the biggest perk of marrying a Hollywood superstar. Room service whenever you want, plush robes to relax in, a balcony view of Los Angeles’ glimmering lights, and a large plush bed perfect to fit two… or three bodies.
Sure, you could have stayed home and waited for the car service to bring Dieter home after the premiere, but when the studio offers a free hotel suite, you and Dieter happily accept. You love to get fucked by your husband in a new bed.
You’ve just dove into your new book, laid out on the chaise lounge of the balcony, sunning yourself in the early evening Summer sun when your phone dings with its customary Dieter ding.
He should be getting ready for the movie premiere; what does he need to tell you?
You unlock your phone to a pic of Dieter sadly pointing to a large brown stain on his crisp, light blue shirt.
Baby, this just happened. Did you pack a backup? Nope. Do you have anything of mine here? Just your old Rage Against The Machine shirt I was wearing earlier. Sold. I’ll take it. I’ll send Julien up to grab it. Go have him buy a shirt. It has holes... Nope. Now that I thought of having your scent on me all night, I need to wear it. Spray it with that perfume you use… Fine. You win. Love you baby. xoxo
You wonder why his team of publicists, assistants, and agents let Dieter style himself… or why they never remember to pack him an extra shirt.
He’s the love of your life, your uber famous partner, deserving of all of the rekindled fame, now sober and in the best place he’s been, thanks in large amounts to your influence.
You walked into his life weeks after his divorce, a man lost with a floundering career. He was too dangerous to work with, too manic, too unreliable. Then, you came in and helped pick his life up, as a favor to your friend Chrissy, his tenacious agent. You’re never supposed to fall in love with a client, but Dieter was just too irresistibly charming. You fucked him in your office after his third session. All of that hard work and student debt that earned you a psychology degree ended up getting you a diamond on your left ring finger and a dream wedding full of Hollywood elites.
You spritz the faded black shirt with your signature perfume and fold it for Julien to expeditiously deliver back to your husband. The wild life of a celebrity wife…
___
Your phone is propped up against a crystal vase that probably costs more than your first car streaming the red carpet premiere and Q&A of Dieter’s newest movie. You chose to sit this gigantic blockbuster event out, but it doesn’t mean you can’t support him from the comfort of this five star hotel room.
Your heart skips when the camera pans to Dieter getting out of the car. There he is, your celluloid husband, clad in all black, wearing the holey t shirt he just fucked you in before leaving you this afternoon.
The barriered crowd goes wild when they spot him. He smiles that megawatt smile, his signature dimples pressing into his golden skin. He’s so fucking beautiful.
You’re so proud of Dieter, you can hardly believe your husband is the star of the biggest summer film, standing tall and handsome with flash bulbs sparking across his face. You’re enamored by him, even when he’s a tiny square being live-streamed through your phone.
He joins his co-stars for a quick interview, his famous charm and humor is on full display, the crowd, host and co stars all laugh at his jokes. He truly is the golden boy of the red carpet.
You wonder if anybody else notices how he reaches for the hand of Greta, the actress who plays his wife in the film, when he realizes she’s nervous, much the same way he grabs your hand when you get anxious, being dragged to Hollywood parties and random awards shows. He’s always so thoughtful.
The interviewer asks Greta what it was like to act along with Dieter and play his wife. She laughs and blushes, Dieter’s arm rubs up and down her back, cuddling her closer to his body as she explains how wonderful of a man he is, how she felt very lucky to star in a movie with him.
She’s absolutely stunning in her form fitting gold dress, you’re watching all of this for your husband and yet Greta keeps stealing your attention, lean, elegant, and absolutely radiant. You think to yourself how badly you want to fuck her.
Dieter and the crew wave to the crowd and cameras thanking everybody for attending the red carpet, you smile at the sight of his gold wedding band before shutting the app down and opening the room service menu. It’ll be two hours until you hear from him after the movie. Time for an episode of Dateline.
___
You’re in a post grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup coma, the cops have just solved the triple homicide in the sleepy New England town when your phone beeps with the Dieter ding.
Movie’s out. have to deal with after party then back to u. Miss u like crazy xoxoix !! Hi! Have fun! Did u watch the red carpet? I did. You looked fucking hot. Ya? I actually liked the shirt, it made me think of this afternoon… Me too baby Greta looked amazing, I was almost watching her more than you. Don’t you think she looked good? Of course I did I think she likes you… saw a video on Twitter that makes me really see the goddamn chemistry you wouldn’t shut up about during filming. She said i smelled good tonight I told her ur the one to thank She can smell me anytime she wants. 😮 baby... Tell me D, do you miss kissing her now that filming is over? I know how you look at her, I’ve seen the previews and press appearances. Go ahead and tell me, baby. dunno about miss, but i did like kissing her What if I were to ask you to kiss her tonight… 😮 Oh? And film it for me. ohhhhhhhhh I can do that for you baby Go find her then. I’ll be waiting God baby I’m glad i married you Xoxo
The giddiness that courses through your body makes a big smile bloom across your face. You sit back against the soft cushions and imagine Dieter tucking his phone in his pocket and setting forth on his mission. Waiting for it is so hot.
___
The Dieter ding buzzes. You’ve never been this excited to pick your phone up.
Dieter Bravo Attachment: 1 Movie
Your hands are practically shaking when you touch the little bubble on your phone. There, in the freeze frame stands your husband and his beautiful co-star.
You hit play.
Greta smiles at the camera before she purrs out, “Hi, Dieter says this is for you.”
She’s so beautiful in the dim video, her silver eyeshadow glistens under the flash, her big blue eyes already look blown out with lust; you wish you were the one who was about to kiss her plush lips. If she’s willing to do this for him, you don’t doubt for a second how attracted she is to your husband. Dieter winks at the camera before turning to Greta, clutching his hand on her cheek and sealing his lips against hers. It’s… so fucking hot. You can hear the distant sound of laughter and conversation of the party goers just below the sounds of Dieter and Greta’s tongues tangling. You wish you could taste both of them, now you’re really regretting staying back. The camera grows more unsteady the deeper the kiss grows. He sucks her bottom lip, you can almost feel the slight tinge of pain, god you want to feel it. Dieter pulls away, and turns Greta’s face towards the camera.
“You want to kiss my wife, Starlet?”
“I do,” she answers.
Dieter lets out a low chuckle before winking at the camera and ending the recording.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. You’re already soaked from that short video.
Dieter has been so good during his sober journey, being honest and forthright when he's tempted, allowing the help of counselors and his Narcotics Anonymous sponsor. You've stood by his side as he's made huge strides to conquer his addictions. His old vices are now replaced by a new vice... sex. You're so proud of him, you want to reward him... and yourself.
Jesus Christ D. U like? Can’t stop thinking about u watching that video baby I like it… a lot. Fuck! Greta wants to kiss me? Think she wants u more than she wants me... I’d like to meet her. I’d like you to meet her too baby Is she busy after the party? Seems like tonight would be a good night for us to meet. Maybe she wants to come back to our room? If that’s what u want baby It’s what I want D. Okay baby
___
The click of the keycard entering the lock alerts you to Dieter and Greta’s arrival. You rise from the couch, smoothing out the wrinkles of your simple blue dress.
“Hi baby,” Dieter smiles, his eyes twinkling with adoration.
Greta follows him in, she’s even more beautiful in real life.
“Hi,” Greta smiles, her eyes spark with lust as she looks you up and down. “Nice to finally meet you.”
“Yeah,” you breathe out, “you too.”
Dieter’s head bobbles back and forth, caught up in the chemistry that sparks between his wife and his co-star.
There is so much anxiety coursing through you but the sheer desire for Dieter and Greta easily obscures any second thoughts.
He walks over to you, planting a searing kiss on your lips and wraps you in his strong arms.
“I missed you baby,” he says before kissing you. He pulls away, his soft, brown eyes roam your face. “Are you sure about this?”
You glance at Greta, focusing on her soft pink lips. “Extremely.”
“Excellent. Now, come here, let me show you off to her,” he grabs your hand and leads you to the middle of the room. “Want to show you my girl, starlet, go ahead and take a seat.”
Greta sits on the sofa, settling in her dazzling golden dress. You feel underdressed compared to her beautiful designer clothing and Dieter’s close to perfect look. No paparazzi in their right mind would want pictures of you in your pale blue dress, but the way Greta’s eyes roam your body and the way Dieter runs his hands up your back and grabs your ass, you feel like you just won an Oscar.
“See her tits?” Dieter wraps his arms around your torso, bringing his hands up to cup your breasts in his hands cupping around the silk of your dress. “They feel so fucking good in my hands, they’re so soft and bounce in my face so perfectly when she rides me. You want to see her tits starlet?”
Greta nods.
He slips the straps of your dress down your arms exposing your breasts to the cool hotel air and Greta’s eyes.
He pulls you against his body, grinding his crotch against you moving his hands back up to cup the weight of your breasts.
Greta watches, blue eyes wide as Dieter pinches and pulls at the peaks of your nipples.
“Watch this starlet,” he lifts his hand and softly smacks one of your breasts, causing a moan to leave your lips, your body falls even harder against his body. “She fucking loves when I do this.”
His hands snake down your torso, pushing your dress to fall down and pool at your feet leaving you bare naked for Greta to see.
Her tongue darts out to lick her lips, as her eyes travel over your naked form.
“Isn’t she magnificent, starlet?”
She arches an eyebrow. “Quite.”
Dieter walks forward, pushing you towards the couch Greta sits on, still looking just like she walked off the red carpet, perfectly put together like a goddess.
He stops at the marble coffee table, grabbing your leg and lifting it to perch on the top.
His wide hand runs up your leg and pets your thigh.
“You like my wife?” his voice is low and rumbly against you. There's a bit of possessiveness to it.
“I do, she’s gorgeous.”
“She is. Isn’t she?” he says with pride.
His hand moves closer to your pussy, now dripping for him and your guest. “See, starlet, this is my pussy,” your body tenses as he dips a finger through your folds, “and she’s fucking soaked for me.” He brings his finger dripping with your wet to his lips and licks it, a moan leaves his lips when he tastes you. “Come here and taste her.”
Greta rises from the couch, walking over to stand next to Dieter. She's even more exquisite up close.
His hand returns to your pussy, petting and rubbing making you weak in the knees.
“She’s so fucking wet for us, starlet.”
You whimper at the sensation of the hard stone of his ring rubbing against your clit. He pulls his hand away, admiring the way your wetness stretches across his fingers.
His fingers are placed against Greta’s lips. She opens her mouth wide, accepting his drenched digits, Dieter groans as she licks your juices off of his skin.
Just four hours ago, they were watching the premiere of their movie together while you watched a rerun of Dateline… now the three of you are locked in the beginning of a ménage à trois. Isn’t it funny how Hollywood works?
__
Conversation flows easily between the three of you. You love the way Greta teases Dieter, how she laughs at your jokes. She fits perfectly in to your married comfortability.
You’re naked atop Dieter's lap, Greta sits next to you, her hand rests on your thigh lightly petting it almost as an ever present reminder of what the three of you are here to do. You can’t believe how comfortable you are in this situation.
“Shall we take this to the bed?” Greta offers as you and her share a glass of champagne. Dieter happily sips his Topo Chico, his eyes lit with mirth watching his wife and friend enjoy each other’s company.
“I’d like that,” you say, turning to her and downing the rest of the glass of bubbly champagne.
“Great,” she smiles, standing up and slinking off her gold dress before laying on the bed and taking her panties off.
“She is… tenacious, isn’t she?” you muse as Dieter hugs you close and kisses your shoulder.
“She is,” he chuckles.
“You ready?” he asks.
“I’m ready,” you get up from Dieter’s lap, he rises behind you before turning you to face him.
He holds your face in his hands, his brown eyes rounded with softness, an adoring grin on his face. “You really want to do this baby?”
You bark a laugh out. “Honey, she’s already naked in bed, of course I do.”
His eyes darken, his grin replaced with a searing smolder, the same smolder that drives millions of women and men crazy, “I love you.”
“I love you too, now let me eat her cunt while you watch.”
“Jesus, alright baby,” he grabs your hand, leading you to bed before removing his shirt and pants. He takes a seat on the chair by the window to observe.
Greta lays in front of you, splayed out amongst the white sheets, her skin looks so creamy and delectable. You climb over her, smelling the sweet scent of her perfume. She giggles when you knock your nose against hers, a giddy smile is shared between the two of you before locking lips. Kissing her is different from kissing Dieter, gentler, sweeter, softer. Her tongue is much smaller, her whimpers and breaths pitch higher. You lay your body against hers, fuck, she’s just as soft as you thought. Velvety smooth and sweet. Your breasts sit against hers, your soft and her soft resting against each other. Your pussy and hers radiate heat against one another when you angle your hips against hers. You kiss a line down to her neck, nipping and sucking at her skin… she faintly tastes of sugary coconut. You look over at Dieter while kissing, he winks before you stick your tongue out and lick one of her nipples. Delicious.
God, her tits are perfect. Perky, a little pointy, pink nipples the same exact shade of cherry blossoms, your favorite flowers. Your tongue runs across the small valley between her breasts, sliding across each nipple and back. Sucking hard against each, latching your mouth around it before letting it go with a pop. She’s writhing on the bed from your mouth and hands, your self esteem rockets higher as she loses herself under your touch.
Her smooth body runs along yours, her delicate hands grab at your skin, clawing and pressing the harder you suck her skin.
You kiss a trail down her tight stomach, licking grabbing her long legs and spreading them wide to reveal her perfect, milky skin surrounding her pussy. She’s drenched, absolutely dripping with her arousal, you lick up the spilled wetness on the bed sheets before licking up to her pussy. Her bright blue eyes focus on your mouth as you envelop her cunt with it. Buttery smooth and soaked, you taste the familiar hint of coconut in her wetness. Perfect.
Your tongue dashes against her clit, flattening and swirling, treating her like the glamorous Hollywood star she is by worshiping her beautiful body and cunt. Your tongue licks a line down her sweetness before darting into her sweet hole.
You feel the bed dip behind you, your heart explodes with the thrill of feeling Dieter’s broad body behind you, a large hand digs between your thighs, dipping two thick fingers into your cunt, opening you up for him. His thumb swishes across your clit, your tongue attempts to duplicate his movements against Greta’s pussy. He angles his digits perfectly, hitting that perfect sensitive spot inside of you, causing you to dive even further against Greta’s heat, trying to take every single drop of sweet nectar from her body. You cum all over Dieter’s hands, moaning and whimpering against Greta’s skin.
Greta clenches around you, her hips grind against your mouth as you lick an orgasm out of her. Your arms reach up to grab her tits and knead them in your hands.
“That’s my baby,” Dieter coos, pulling his hand from your pussy and slapping it against your ass, causing a loud moan to rumble against Greta's cunt.
He pulls your hips up, your bottom meets the rigid skin of his cock. He taps his thick member against your ass before spreading your legs, you bring two fingers to Greta’s leaking hole waiting for Dieter to take you so you can take her. His thick cock enters you, stretching you with that sweet sting you love to feel. Your fingers mirror his actions, slow pumps in and out of Greta, scissoring to stretch her like Dieter stretches you matching the rhythm of his movements.
His hand splays across your back, petting your spine as he starts slowly, languidly fucking you. The three of you dance to a sensual song, grunts and moan chorusing across the sound of your fingers and Dieter’s cock. It’s beautiful.
You happily suffocate against her pussy, licking through her folds and fucking her with your fingers while Dieter fills your slippery cunt. Your moans are muffled by her skin, Dieter’s grunts echo his thrusts.
Your body is slick with sweat, face soaked in Greta’s arousal, your cunt clenches around your husband's cock, your tongue sits steady against Greta's pussy as Dieter fucks an orgasm out of you. He holds your shaking hips close as he tells you how good you're taking him, how much he loves watching you eat Greta's pussy.
“This is all–nyugh–for you baby,” he groans, as he pulls out, Greta catches you in her arms as your body falls without his support. “Roll over, roll over baby,” he hoarsely gasps as he strokes his cock. You move to lay on your back, Dieter pulls your legs wide open right before he paints your pussy with his thick white ropes.
Dieter rises off the bed on shaky legs, before flopping his naked body into the chair. “Go on starlet, clean my girl up.”
She moves quickly, like she can’t wait to taste the two of you, settling between your thighs, lifting your legs over her delicate shoulders, spreading you wide open for her mouth. Greta’s breathy moan against your cunt makes your back arch while her tongue cleans your cunt covered in Dieter’s seed. She dips a finger into your entrance, swirling it around your sensitive walls, her one finger is nothing compared to your husband’s thick cock but god, does her gentle touch drive you wild. Her mouth seals over your clit, kissing and sucking your swollen bundle of nerves. Her head rises and lowers with each pump of your hips into the air, dancing right along with you as your pussy rises to another crescendo of an orgasm. You turn your head to look at Dieter, naked with his legs spread wide, sitting like a king on a throne. He mouths “I love you,” out of the lips you crave to kiss as your body tightens and releases with another climax.
Greta brings her lips to yours, licking into your mouth leaving the intoxicating swirl of flavors of your wetness and Dieter’s cum against your tongue. She breathily chuckles at your long exhale before laying next to you, pushing her soft curves against you and hooking her leg over yours.
Dieter walks over, naked and cocky, your superstar husband is in full effect even in the aftershock of your threesome. He kisses Greta’s cheek and whispers “thanks starlet” before leaning over, kissing your lips and cupping your cheek. “I love you baby,” he says, big brown eyes staring into yours. You return his smile before he turns towards the minibar and grabs a Kit Kat. Greta cuddles in closer to you on the bed, sometimes it’s good to have a movie star husband.

When the transformation is completed, locations across the area – from the Cappuccino Cart outside the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge to The Bakery Tour – will be decked out in street art and colorful banners celebrating the Big Hero 6 team after their victory over Yokai.
The diverse array of flavorful fare in San Fransokyo Square will include current favorites and new creations inspired by Asian cuisine, as well as the Big Hero 6 themselves. Aunt Cass Café, the second bakery café operated by Hiro’s loving aunt, will serve dishes, soups in freshly-baked Boudin sourdough bread bowls and more inspired by Japanese cuisine. On the outside of this quick service restaurant, you’ll find a mural of Aunt Cass’ lucky pet cat, Mochi.
An old fishing net tannery across from the café is being converted to Rita’s Turbine Blenders, a giant drink dispenser offering delicious margaritas and icy beverages. This refreshment stand is owned and named after the repair technician who maintains the floating wind turbine, resembling a giant koi fish, that sits atop the structure.
Guests will also be able to meet with Baymax, who will talk for the very first time!
"San Fransokyo Square" is the lastest Disney Television Animation X Walt Disney Imagineering collaboration between "Mickey And Minnie's Runaway Railway" at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Toontown, "Aqua-Mouse" at Disney Wish from Disney Cruise Line, Passholder Magnets for Disney Springs and Disneyland with animations from "The Wonderful World Of Mickey Mouse", redesings from Paul Rudish and Asia Ellington for "Orange Bird","Dumbo" and "Figment", "DuckTales World Showcase Adventure" and providing redesings and decoring for the "Toontown" refreshment with "Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard","Donald's Boat",Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster,"The EngineEar Souvenirs Shop" featuring various Disney Afternoon characters and locations.

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser officially closes in just under two weeks, and as someone who experienced it in many different ways, I wanted to answer some FAQs that reveal exactly how unique, ambitious, and rewarding this experience has been, and why its closure shouldn't be a celebration.
Q: Is it a hotel?
A: No. It is not just a hotel. This is a 3-day, 2-night immersive experience, and the best thing I can compare it to is an actual cruise. You probably spend the least amount of time inside your cabin, aside from getting a quick wink of sleep between each jam-packed day of constant activities.
Q: Why is it so expensive?
A: This has probably been the biggest comment I've seen even before it opened, and well before I played a part in its story. Again, no one's just paying for a room to sleep in. The price of this experience is all-inclusive. Here's what you would actually be paying for:
all your food, meals, and drinks (aside from alcoholic drinks)
a park ticket to Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park
2 Lightning Lanes, one for Rise of the Resistance and one for Smuggler's Run
16 total hours of constant immersive entertainment, with characters you get to know personally
top-tier concierge service, including luggage brought straight to your room
your room for 2 nights
additional perks and services
There's definitely more I could have added to this list as well. When it's broken down, it's similar to paying for a Deluxe Resort room along with park tickets and food. Yes, it's very expensive, but you're paying for much more than a bed to sleep in.
Q: How does it work?
A: Everything is facilitated through the datapad, a program that can be accessed through the Play Disney app with a valid reservation. This app allows passengers to view their scheduled events (including lightsaber and bridge training), share comms with key characters, access a map of the ship, and more. The datapad also works alongside unique MagicBands that can tap into ship consoles to complete missions and more.
Q: What's the story, and how do you fit into it?
A: It's the Halcyon's 275th anniversary voyage, and many special events are planned - including an excursion day to the ship's very first port of call, Batuu. Everything goes haywire when the First Order boards on suspicion of Resistance activity. The Halcyon Crew Members, the First Order, and more will call on you for help, and you're the only one who can determine your path. The story is set between the events of The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.
Q: If it's so great, why is it closing?
A: Your guess is as good as mine. I've witnessed this experience change people firsthand, bringing shy children out of their shells and creating communities of adults who get to truly play for the first time since they were kids. It's been a 3-day escape for people to forget the stress of their every day lives and just have fun in a galaxy they love. It's one of Disney's most ambitious projects yet, and to see them give up on it so fast is very disheartening.
Hopefully one day, it'll return in some capacity, and many of you will get the chance to see it for yourselves. Until then, as they say on the Halcyon: May adventure forever find you.

The CEOs of these studios really are out of touch. Intentionally out of touch because people have been fed up with how these streaming services are operating, fed up with superhero media, fed up with remakes/spin-offs of remakes for awhile.
Hell, they’re not even realizing that everyone has watch lists that they built up for years because of various reasons and that there’s a lot of support for those who are on strike despite how some social media algorithms are trying to act like there’s not ‘much support’.
I also don’t care about the influencers who are definitely going to cross the picket lines because well; they already don’t do much of anything so they clearly know whatever they sign up for is quick easy money and it shouldn’t take a genius to see that those are shady ass jobs to take.
All in all, while sure it will be a long strike; I doubt that many people are mad about it due to how these streaming services stay cancelling things after two seasons, paid up front and not residuals, health insurance is non existent, and frankly with social media, people are seeing why there are many strikes happening in Hollywood and across the US in various jobs and careers.
The CEOs of all these jobs are definitely panicking because they’re realizing that this is their worst nightmares and since they are rich assholes who don’t care about anyone ; they won’t realize that the workers have and still will stand strong against them however long it takes.
Best of luck to the morons who cross the picket lines because when these strikes end; they are going to look stupid as hell. But I even think that will not be as major as media might make it seem.

If you’re up for it, tips/faves from your Disney visit?
Okay, so I'm not expert, but here are some observations from my Walt Disney World trip in no particular order:
First off, I can't speak to other food sensitivities, but I can't eat even a little bit of gluten without becoming ill in such a way that half of my trip would have been ruined, and I was able to eat pretty easily. Ordering quick service meals through the My Disney Experience app, it was usually pretty easy to tell what I could and couldn't have, and for the table service meals that we had, the staff was incredibly knowledgeable about what either was already gluten-free or could be made gluten-free. For anyone who doesn't have food sensitivities, I don't know how to explain how much of a relief this was. Food is always such a cumbersome thing for me in general, and it's even worse when traveling, so having people who clearly knew what they were talking about go over menus with me was really reassuring, and I didn't get sick at all! Foodwise, highlights include: the churros at the Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom, which are GF, the GF beignets at Scat Cat's Cafe in the Port Orleans - French Quarter resort, and the Citrus Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom. Also, we ponied up the cash for the Be Our Guest dining experience at Magic Kingdom, where you get to eat in Beast's castle from Beauty and the Beast, and the food was excellent. It's not a cheap meal, but, honestly, I think a similar-quality meal outside of WDW would cost about the same. And, whoever our host was is truly living his best life, acting like he's a straight-up cartoon character and clearly enjoying every second of it.
We had someone with some mobility issues who needed to sit or stop walking frequently, and some lessons learned from that: first off, if you're looking at the parks in terms of the amount of public seating with shade, Magic Kingdom is the best for that, followed by Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT and Hollywood Studios are tied for the worst. EPCOT is just...so dang hot with all the cement, and HS...okay, Galaxy's Edge does at least have some shade, but they didn't install as many places to sit as they really could have, and Toy Story Land is almost entirely roasting in the sun. If either of those areas had had a bit more seating/shade, we probably would have spent longer in the park, but as it was, it was sort of a half-day park for us.
If you're staying at a resort on-site, staying at one of the ones that the skyliner hits is super convenient, and way less crowded than the buses. The skyliner only goes to two parks, but still...that's two fewer bus rides.
Because of the way Disney has set things up, if you have any interest in the more popular rides, it is almost imperative to pay for Genie+ and occasionally Individual Lightning Lane passes. It's stupid, and I hate it, but if you're trying to maximize your time there, it's necessary to avoid standing in line half the day.
On that note, though, don't be afraid to ride the "lame" rides. Two of my favorite rides were the PeopleMover and the Carousel of Progress -- both of which I never would have checked out had I not seen Jenny Nicholson's "Top 10 Lame Things To Do At Disney World" video, which I also highly suggest (I actually love all of Jenny's videos, and she has several good ones on theme park stuff. This is one of the shortest ones).
Also, because of the way Genie+ and the Lightning Lane passes work, sometimes it's really easy to get caught up in the game of scheduling the day, and just hopping from one ride to the next without lingering in the parks and checking out the different areas. This is, in my opinion, a huge downside to this system. The parks are all highly themed in various ways, and there are cool things to look at and be around nearly everywhere. If you're constantly rushing from attraction to attraction, you miss some of that. So, try to take some time to linger. It really is worth it to do so.
If you're going to all four parks over the course of several days, I highly suggest having a rest day in the middle of the trip where you don't go to a park if you can. We had originally planned our not-park day for the end of the week, but ended up swapping it around with the last park day because we were just exhausted.
Unless something seems in danger of selling out throughout the day, save buying souvenirs til the end of the day. Spending a bunch of mental energy trying to make sure you don't spill something on your cool new bag or lose your cute Chewbacca plush is silly when you can probably just run through whatever stores on your way out. Ask me how I know this.
Don't be afraid to really examine whether the juice is worth the squeeze. I had been told we had to ride this one ride at Hollywood Studios, and even though I seriously grabbed a Lightning Lane pass four minutes after they were released, our time wasn't until like 7pm. By like...4:30, we had more than exhausted what we wanted to do at the park, were grumpy, and dreading waiting around for another 2.5 hours just to ride a roller coaster...so we didn't. We probably could have gone to the hotel and then gone back to the park, but we were just tired and kind of over it at that point, so we left for the day. And, honestly, I do not think any roller coaster would have been worth getting increasingly grumpy and sunburned over the course of a couple hours. Maybe if it had been a ride we were really looking forward to, but this was one we didn't even know existed until someone told us we had to ride it. So...examine what's actually worth the time/energy to you and base your decisions around that instead of on what other people say is a must-ride, must-do thing.

I swear Hollywood will really sit up here and make 17 movies about some freaking toys. But when someone comes along with an actual phenomenal and original movie idea. They are so quick to shoot it down unless it's a streaming service. Like I swear all the original movie ideas that do slip through the crack and are brought to life. It's either a streaming service behind it or an indie film studio.
P.S.
I have nothing against the Barbie movie I'm going to go see it when it comes out because it does look entertaining. I'm just making a point.

Thompson’s not only right about the implications of the phrasing. She’s right about the real-world impact of what is, make no mistake, a devaluing of the creative process. Those who defend its use will insist that we need some kind of catchall phrase for the things we watch, as previously crisp lines have blurred between movies and television, between home and theatrical exhibition and between legacy and social media. But these paradigm shifts require more clarity in our language, not less. A phrase like “streaming movie” or “theatrical release” or “documentary podcast” communicates what, where and why with far more precision than gibberish like “content,” and if you want to put everything under one tent, “entertainment” is right there. But studio and streaming executives, who are perhaps the primary users and abusers of the term, love to talk about “content” because it’s so wildly diminutive. It’s a quick and easy way to minimize what writers, directors and actors do, to act as though entertainment (or, dare I say it, art) is simply churned out — and could be churned out by anyone, sentient or not. It’s just content, it’s just widgets, it’s all grist for the mill. Talking about “entertainment” is dangerous because it takes talent to entertain; no such demands are made of “content,” and the industry’s increasing interest in the possibilities of writing via artificial intelligence (one of the sticking points of the writers’ strike) makes that crystal clear. Perhaps the finest example of this school of thought can be seen at Warner Bros. Discovery, where David Zaslav ascended to the throne of chief executive by overseeing the Discovery Channel’s transition from nature documentaries to reality swill. The “content”-ization of that conglomerate’s holdings is the only reasonable explanation for the decision to rename HBO Max as simply Max — removing the prestigious legacy media brand that most clearheaded, marginally intelligent people would presume to be an asset. It lost 1.8 million subscribers in the process, but that’s merely the battle; it won the war, because when you visit Max now, the front-page carousel is a combination of scripted series, HBO documentaries, true crime and reality competition shows. It’s all on equal footing; it’s all content. But “Casablanca,” “Succession” and “Dr. Pimple Popper” are not the same thing — and the programmers of a service that pretends otherwise are abdicating their responsibility as curators.

Any must have rides to do or places to go when at Disney
*cracks knuckles*
Well since you asked....
For rides, at MK I'd definitely recommend Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain (if you like coasters), Thunder Mountain (if you like coasters), jingle cruise, the people mover, and Pooh bear cause its cute af. For food, 10/10 recommend Casey's Corner, I dream of their hot dogs 😂 if yoh want more of a sit down restaurant, skippers canteen is great! But if you have picky eaters, The Plaza and Tony's are also good choices.
Epcot rides: Spaceship earth, the ratatouille ride (if you don't mind 3D), GoTG coasters (if you like coasters), soarin!, and test track! For food, we could be here all day 😂 epcot has the best food, especially with the world showcase but if you're looking for a sit-down restaurant, I recommend La Hacienda, Rose and Crown, and (if you have picky eaters) The Garden Grille.
Hollywood studios rides: Rise of the Resistance (idc if you're a star wars fan or not, it's AMAZING), rocking Rollercoaster (if you like coasters), tower of terror (if you like drop rides), slinky dog coaster (very mild), and star tours. Bonus! Not TECHNICALLY a ride but the Muppet 3d show is one of my favorite shows so def recommend checking it out. For food, Woody's Lunchbox is great! Gets really crowded though so fair warning. For a sit down, mama Melrose is *chefs kiss* and for picky eaters, the ABC commissary has a plethora of options.
ALSO ! The Fantasmic fireworks show (its amazing and possibly one of my favorite shows) does dinner packages with certain restaurants. Def check it out!
Animal Kingdom Rides: kilamanjaro safari!! Avatar's the flight of passage (if you don't mind 3D), mount everest coaster (if you don't mind cossters), and, though not a ride, the festival of the lion king show is GREAT!! It's for all ages and it's so fun! For food: the yak and Yeti restaurant is a MUST! If you can't get a resi, they also have quick service options outside the restaurant! Also recommend the Tusker House for picky eaters!
Disney springs: food wise, you have a million options but for me, Chef Art Smith's Homecoming is a MUST! Best fried chicken, BBQ pulled pork, AND Mac and cheese ❤️ raglan road is also an excellent choice! As is Enzo's hideaway and the Boathouse! For picky eaters, rainforest Cafe and planet Hollywood are great choices, and if you're more in the mood for something quick, earl's sandwiches, The polite pig, and chicken guy are great options. For me, a Disney trip isn't complete w/out stopping at Ghirardelli's ice cream ❤️
Hope this was helpful!

Cheap Flights from New York to Orlando
Cheap Flights from New York to Orlando
New York to Orlando
Orlando is a well-liked travel destination since it is the birthplace of Mickey Mouse and Disney World. The Orlando region offers an almost limitless supply of entertainment, making it the world's top family vacation spot. But even the most merry parent might need a vacation after a few exhausting days at Universal Studios, Disney World, and SeaWorld. So go out for a night on the town while leaving the kids in the care of the hotel babysitter. Downtown Disney is an adult-oriented nightlife area with restaurants, bars, and a House of Blues in a theme park setting—not a genuine town, mind you.
All three of New York's airports receive about the same amount of demand for flights to Orlando, with Newark slightly outpacing LaGuardia. JetBlue offers quite excellent non-stop service from all three main New York airports to Orlando.
How to reach Orlando from New York
How long is the flight from Orlando to New York City?
The exact in-flight duration will vary depending on your individual departure and destination airports, but direct flights from New York City to Orlando generally take three hours. Most layovers on flights take place in Charlotte, North Carolina, and might add one to three hours to your journey schedule.
Which airlines fly from Orlando to New York City?
American Airlines, United, and Delta are just a few of the well-known carriers that offer service between New York City and Orlando. Additionally, low-cost airlines like Spirit Airlines and JetBlue provide service between New York City and Orlando.
How frequently are there flights between Orlando and New York City?
There are several daily flights available from New York City to Orlando. Seven days a week, departures are normally offered in the morning, afternoon, and nighttime. On United Airlines alone, over 200 flights per week are available between New York City and Orlando.
Which airports connect Orlando with New York City?
LaGuardia Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, or Newark Liberty International Airport are the most popular departure points for passengers flying out of New York City. Newark Liberty International Airport is technically situated just across the state line in New Jersey. Orlando is served by Orlando International Airport and Orlando Sanford International Airport, both of which are public airports.
The cheapest way to fly to Orlando from New York
Usually, direct flights from Newark Liberty International Airport to Orlando International Airport are the least expensive. On occasion, direct flights from LaGuardia to Orlando might be obtained at a lower price. It's easy to adjust to the nonstop enjoyment in Orlando, Florida, if you've grown acclimated to the quick pace of New York City living. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida, and SeaWorld Orlando are just a few of the theme parks you may visit, along with a number of themed food establishments, museum visits, and live performances.
The best time to buy your ticket from New York to Orlando if you want to save money is approximately 40 days before departure, making sure to fly out in the evening. Keep in mind that prices are subject to change, so it is always best to check multiple sites before making your final purchase.
Why visit Orlando?
Orlando, Florida, is known as the theme park capital of the world, and for good reason. Home to Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort, as well as many more epic parks, Orlando oozes fun 24/7. The destination is also known for its excellent shopping, shows, nature excursions, and so much more. Considering all of this, it is easy to see why it is a huge hit year after year with Irish holidaymakers.
Walt Disney World
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, which consists of two water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, as well as four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Your inner kid will be free in Disney, a popular choice among Disney enthusiasts alike. Disney knows how to make the most of your vacation with exhilarating attractions, enchanted character parades, breathtaking fireworks displays, and lots of entertainment around every corner. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land are two examples of recent Disney additions, and like Universal Orlando, each of their parks is always receiving all-new attractions.
Theme Parks
Orlando is known as the world's theme park capital for a very entertaining reason. There are plenty of thrilling rides and relaxing activities in Orlando, whether you're travelling with family or by yourself.
Orlando is filled with fantastic locations like SeaWorld, Universal, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay, all of which provide the greatest pleasure you could possibly desire, in somewhat different ways, except for Disney, which had to get its own mention (hint: you should probably visit all of them, just to find out which is your favorite).
Whether you choose to experience them all or simply show up for one, Orlando will provide a little taste of excitement for everyone, including roller coasters, thrill excursions, fascinating underwater worlds, and lots of parades. This is undoubtedly among the most well-liked justifications for travelling to Orlando.

Re: Disney Parks - It would be great to see some posts about your favorite spots in the park, food places and/or rides.
sure! dont mind me, i’ll just do a long post lol.
i’ve always been a magic kingdom girly, but that’s kind of died down for me. but still love love magic kingdom at night and she’s my favorite solo park. i’m a big haunted mansion, pirates, and big thunder girly. i do love adventureland and tomorrowland a lot. i still get lost in fantasyland and she is not my favorite LOL. hot take im still mad they got rid of my two favorite food/drinks in mk literally 3 years ago. but for nostalgia purposes, casey’s corner is good.
animal kingdom is also my girl. she is my absolute favorite at christmas and the park entrance music !? but especially the christmas entrance music? SO GOOD. i love dinoland so very much and could go on many rants about it. she is so themed and so great and i wish they didn’t want to get rid of her. dak is a lovely vibe park, but also one i typically don’t do for very long tbh (BUT SHE IS A FULL DAY PARK FOR TOURISTS!! SHE SHOULD BE) so i don’t have much food recs besides satuuli. love flight and dinosaur.
epcot with the walls down consistently throws me off. epcot hot take is that she’s not fun without a festival but!! it’s fine!! she’s also a fun vibe and i vibe with literally just doing laps around epcot and talking with friends. love the mexico pavilion, it’s just so busy i do not ever want to stay there long. guardians is my favorite. love spaceship earth and soarin as well. very intrigued by the test track refurb. honestly, more a festival food person there but i do enjoy the quick service in the mexico pavilion.
hollywood studios is such a hard solo park place, but she’s still managed to grow on me a bit. somehow think i like the food there the most..abc commisary and woody’s are my favs. studios is just so hard to do much unless you bought genie (or whatever her new name is lol). my solo park vibe was typically dinner and muppets. like that’s all. but slinky and minnie&mickey’s are fun and galaxy’s edge is great too. def a night park for me.
ANYWAYS sorry long post. lmk if you want my resort opinions because i feel like i frequent the hotels a lot at this point. or firework show opinions because i have LOTS of those

Hollywood on Thames is a prize for the UK economy
"In a fictional world, it would make a charming film comedy. A profit-seeking corporation tries to move to a quaint English town and is repelled by a plucky band of local folk who charm the unwanted visitors into leaving them alone. Call it Hollywood on Thames, a long-awaited sequel to Local Hero, the whimsical 1983 film about a Scottish village and an energy company from Houston.
In the real world, it is no joke. The rejection of a £750mn film studio scheme on the outskirts of Marlow, a Saxon town west of London, says something worrying about the UK’s ambitions to expand its film and television industry. A studio lot on a former gravel quarry is not Local Hero’s oil refinery by a pristine beach, and many other countries would grab the offer.
Marlow Film Studios was backed among others by James Cameron, the Titanic film director, who saw it as a potential European base for his Lightstorm 3D special effects company. It promised 2,000 direct jobs and £3.5bn in production investment over a decade, joining a cluster around Pinewood Shepperton and Warner Bros’ studio in Leavesden, where Barbie was made.
But it collided with Save Marlow’s Green Belt, a pressure group that was worried about traffic, and did not want a view of the Chiltern Hills from the Thames to be interrupted. Sam Kershaw, a retired technology executive who is among the group’s organisers, told me this week that the studio would have been “very large, overbearing and out of character” for the town.
The character activists won, despite the scheme’s promise to devote 36 hectares of land to biodiversity and a country park. Buckinghamshire Council blocked the plan after its officers ruled that it would “result in spatial and visual harm to the openness of the Green Belt” and cause “additional on-street parking”. Goodbye Hollywood; carry on, patch of scrubland.
I do not wish to be rude to the good folk of Marlow, who live in a place known for its literary history and natural beauty, and have legitimate concerns, but this is ridiculous. If you cannot place infrastructure for one of the UK’s most dynamic industries on reclaimed land by a dual carriageway linked to the nearby M40 motorway, it will be very difficult to revive flagging economic growth.
There was a prisoner-of-war camp before the quarry, in the days when force majeure led to quick decisions, but building takes longer now. This is not for want of trying: the government has supported the film and streaming television industry with tax breaks that it extended earlier this year. Prime Minster Rishi Sunak enthused about its potential on a visit to Pinewood before calling the election.
There is much for rivals to envy about an industry that has flourished in recent years, helped by investments from Netflix, Amazon Studios and other streaming services. Hollywood has made a second home in the UK, built on the country’s creative history, actors and technicians, and special effects expertise. Pinewood’s 007 stage for James Bond films is one of many assets.
Los Angeles has a creative cluster, extending to a “30-mile zone” within which productions are considered to be local. The counterpart that has grown up in London and the south-east comprises 70 per cent of the UK’s film and television studio space. It has similar advantages in being able to assemble an array of talent fast and flexibly.
But many studios are located near the greenbelt around London, which is fiercely defended by residents and planners, even when it includes a former quarry. Joy Morrissey, the local Conservative MP before the election, argued against both the Marlow studios and Pinewood’s expansion plans. When national priorities meet local sensitivities, the latter often triumph.
Changing this is one of Labour’s priorities. Its manifesto this week promised to back creative industries and said the planning regime “acts as a major brake on economic growth”. Labour would not be bedevilled by the same internal tensions as the Conservatives in towns such as Marlow, but pledging radical reform and effecting it are different things.
The absence of a new studio lot at Marlow is not an immediate crisis for UK film and television. Inward investment fell last year as streaming services retreated from “peak TV” and some stages built in expectation of short-term growth are empty. One studio in Berkshire went into administration in April after the writers’ and actors’ strikes.
But as James Cameron said in supporting the plan, seizing the long-term opportunity requires “boldness in thinking”. There is not much point in providing tax incentives for new film and television production if you do not create the infrastructure to make it flourish. That not only involves studios but training more technicians and offering apprenticeships.
The UK has unusual advantages in enticing productions to leave Hollywood and cross the Atlantic. “It is not as if we can now pick and choose” among other inward investors, Robert Laycock, Marlow Film Studios’ chief executive, observed to me. Residents of towns such as Marlow should reflect before spurning this prize."
So, Hollywood abandoned the United States, after shitting where it eats, for decades and wonders why some Brits don't want these people in their backyard and villages. The UK needs to be aware that Labour is going to sell them down the river, again.
