Autumn Hawke and Anders - Family Timeline (Post-DA2)

Because Anders and Autumn deserve happiness… or at least some family chaos.

💥 9:37 Dragon – The Chantry Explosion

Autumn Hawke is about 3–4 months pregnant but hasn’t told Anders yet. His secretive behavior and growing distance have left her unsure how he’d react to the news.

Anders blows up the Kirkwall Chantry, and everything goes to hell.

Amid the chaos, Autumn might have screamed, “YOU IDIOT, I’M PREGNANT!” at him.

Timing, 10/10.

After the chaos they flee Kirkwall together.

🌩 9:38 Dragon – Baby Storm is Born

Storm Hawke is born during a violent thunderstorm

Autumn is TERRIBLE at names and may have gone a little bit literal.

Anders becomes the epitome of anxious parenting, haunted by memories of mages children being taken from them at birth at the Circle, the knowledge of families being ripped apart when children's magic manifests, and the horrors he likely saw in Darktown - I can imagine child mortality was high there.

Justice is weirdly obsessed with the “pure and innocent” baby.

Autumn struggles to hold her family together at first, afterall she has lost people so many times at this point part of her expects it to happen again.

✉️ 9:42 Dragon – The Inquisition Calls

Varric writes to Autumn, asking her to join the Inquisition. She agrees, leaving 5-year-old Storm with Anders. (He’ll be fine, right?)

Autumn doesn’t know she’s pregnant (again), but she realizes while at Skyhold.

Varric finds out before Anders does.

When she gets home, Anders does a health check and discovers TWINS.

Cue even more overprotective dad energy.

🍃 9:43 Dragon – Holly and Rowan Are Born

Autumn gives birth to twins - Holly and Rowan.

The family relocates again to keep the kids safe.

At age 7, Storm accidentally starts summoning lightning during a tantrum. Anders starts training him immediately, and Justice becomes even more overbearing.

Storm’s magic cements his role as the big brother trying to protect Holly and Rowan.

At 8 years old, Holly heals an injured bird, showing a natural talent for healing magic.

Anders begins training both Holly and Storm, while Rowan learns rogue skills from Autumn.

💀 9:55 Dragon – The Blight Incident

Storm (17), Holly (12), and Rowan (12) explore some caves near home and encounter darkspawn.

Storm is injured and contracts the Blight.

Devastated, Anders and Autumn turn to Bethany (now a Grey Warden) for help.

Storm survives the Joining and leaves home, though he stays in touch.

Holly and Rowan are shaken but become determined to protect each other.

katsuki likes intertwining your fingers. at the start of your relationship, he was hesitant to do so, afraid he could accidentally hurt you with his quirk or scare you off with how hot and rough they are (not that he ever told you as much). so when you slowly warmed him up to the idea, he held your hand very carefully at first.

by now, however, his grip on you is firm and self-assured, pulling you closer to him in crowded areas or just enjoying the feel of your hand in his calloused one. the pro hero has also resigned himself to being your own personal hand warmer in the winter, cupping your freezing fingers between his palms with only minimal complaining.

keigo likes playing with your hands. whether you’re watching a movie on a rare night in or you’re in a restaurant with your hands resting on the table, chances are keigo is reaching over to cradle your hand in his, a boyish grin on his handsome face.

sometimes it’s really just him fiddling with your fingers to keep his own busy. but in instances where it’s just the two of you, he’s tracing his thumb along the length of your fingers and mapping the lines on your palms, culminating in the featherlight kisses he flutters against your knuckles and wrist.

shouto likes linking your pinkies. sure, he’s much more confident in your relationship than at the beginning, where he’d basically wait for you to initiate affection for him to know this was okay. back then, it was his way of asking for affection in whatever way you would see fit to show him at the moment.

but even after learning more about both you and himself, as well as the social norms around dating, he has taken a liking to the gesture. it is sweet and low-key enough to not draw much attention if you’re out and about, but still a good way to ground himself and make sure you’re still there with him.

izuku likes it when you play with his hands. even as an adult he still has the habit of losing himself in his rambled tangents at times and taking his hand in yours is an effective way of snapping him out of it.

the gentle way with which you hold him, like he was a delicate thing, lifts the responsibilities of always putting other’s well-being before his own right off his shoulders. deku is too flustered to ever say it out loud but, when you lovingly trace and kiss the scars on his hands instead of looking at them as if they’re a flaw, his ears and cheeks feel like they’ve been set ablaze.

Hi!!! Happy Friday 💕 I'm so so intrigued by Autumn and Anders and their little family!! So for any combo of Autumn and/or Anders and/or the kids, "Parent comforting child after a nightmare" from the parent-child prompts?

Argh fluff is hard 🤣

I ended up going with Anders comforting Holly, because I reckon by the time Holly and Rowan came along both Anders and Autumn are getting good at this parenting thing - in my mind they both had high levels of first time parent anxiety with their first kid due to all the loss in both their lives.

Anyway, yes: some post-DA2 Anders comforting his daughter. I'm thinking Holly and Rowan are about 5-ish here - I don't have kids myself so going off his friends kids and psychology textbooks to give a vauge idea for age development 😅

Holly's eyes flew open, wide with fear, her heart pounding in her chest as the remnants of the nightmare lingered, the shadows in her room seeming to stretch and grow in the quiet darkness. She sat up, trembling, her tiny hands clutching the covers tightly, tears streaming down her face.

Rowan was at her side almost instantly, her brother's hands clasping hers and he clambered into her bed.

“Holly,” he whispered gently, "it was just a dream.”

Holly turned to him, her small face streaked with tears. “It felt real, Rowan… like something was coming for me.”

“I won’t let anything hurt you," Rowan insisted, "I promise.”

Before Holly could respond, a voice came from the doorway, quiet but full of concern. “What’s going on in here?”

Holly gasped, pulling her hand from her brother's hold and scrambling out of bed. Running to her father. Wrapping her arms around his legs, trembling from head to toe. Anders immediately crouched down, gathering her into his arms, pulling her close. His hand moved gently through her hair.

“What’s wrong, sweetheart?”

“She had a bad dream,” Rowan called from where he sat on her bed.

Anders nodded at his son. Rowan, though so young, always seemed to know exactly what his sister needed. He squeezed Holly tighter, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head.

“You’re safe, Holly,” he murmured, his voice low and comforting, “Nothing’s going to hurt you.”

Still trembling, Holly shifted slightly in her father’s arms, her voice muffled. “But it felt real…”

Anders’ hand moved gently to her face, wiping away the tears as he spoke in a softer tone. “Sometimes the Fade can be a confusing, even frightening place, sweetheart. But I promise, we’ll always protect you. We’ll keep you safe.”

Holly nestled into him, her sobs slowing to soft, hitching breaths as she clung to him, her small hands fisted tightly in his shirt. She could feel the steady beat of his heart, grounding her in the comfort of his presence.

Rowan, not one for many words, stood and padded quietly across the room. His voice, soft yet filled with resolve, broke the quiet. “Dad, maybe I could sleep next to Holly tonight?”

Anders looked at his son, a smile pulling at his lips as he nodded. “Would you like that, Holly? For your brother to keep watch over you?”

Holly’s small, tear-streaked face lifted, and her voice quiet and fragile as she nodded. “Yes, please."

Anders gently lifted Holly from his arms, cradling her against him as he carried her back to bed. Carefully pulling the covers back over her. Holly’s eyes fluttered shut for a moment, but she stirred when she felt Rowan slide in next to her.

Anders gave them both a reassuring smile, brushing a lock of hair from Holly’s forehead. “You’re both safe,” he said, “your mother and I are nearby if you need anything.”

Rowan nodded, his arm slipping around Holly pulling her close. “I’ll keep her safe, Dad,” he whispered.

bnha x farming sims

katsuki, or bakugo as he insists you call him, is the black smith with the foul mood and even fouler mouth. he’s not happy you’re bothering him so early in the morning and he’ll let you know. still, you make it a point to visit him regularly (and definitely not bc seeing him work by the forge in sleeveless shirts has you looking respectfully) and slowly but surely, he’s starting to warm up to you. well, katsuki’s way of warming up to someone, but progress is progress nonetheless. now take the shovel he totally didn’t make specifically for you before he whacks you over the head with it.

deku can be found running around the general store most of the time. he’s bright and cheery as he greets you, carrying heavy crates of produce like they weigh nothing. if it wasn’t for midoriya, you think you might have had a few more breakdowns, both mentally and physically, when you started life on your farm. you were of course also grateful for his help lugging animal food around but his friendly attitude and warm presence meant everything to you when you moved to a town where you knew nobody.

todoroki shouto is the mayor’s son, unwillingly following behind his father as he comes to greet you on your first day. afflicted by the nerves of your fresh start, you interpret his court greeting as immediate dislike and make a note not to bother him much in the future. however, one evening at the tavern, deku waves you over to their table and helps bridge some of the gaps between you. noting it’s not a dislike of you and just shouto’s natural stoic demeanour, you can’t help but warm up to him, heart fluttering when he graces you with a small smile.

kirishima is intimidating… for about 0.2 seconds. then he’s already showing you a bright smile and clapping a big hand on your back, nearly knocking you over. it doesn’t shock you at all to learn that he does a lot of the physical labour around town, from carrying materials around to splitting wood for the winter. the only surprising thing about him is the choice of his best friend because seriously? katsuki?? nevertheless, seeing kirishima always puts you in a more cheerful mood and he’s always more than ready to help you when you’ve run into a problem or another.

at first, you give kaminari a wide berth. not because he has done anything bad to you, per se, but more so because his reputation precedes him. you wouldn’t think someone could be branded as a flirt in a town as small as this, and yet he proves you wrong. it doesn’t help that, when you introduced yourself, he wiggled his eyebrows and dropped a line that made mina slap him upside the head. though, inevitably you come to find that a reputation isn’t necessarily the entire truth. and denki could really be quite cute, making you laugh with a dumb joke or another, when he wasn’t thinking with what’s in his pants.

keigo is in and out of town like a whirlwind, travelling between your more remote village and the more bustling locations some distance away. you come to learn that todoroki enji relies on his information quite a lot. your farm opens up more possibilities for trading routes in and out of town again, so it’s inevitable that keigo comes up to strike up a conversation sooner or later. his laissez-faire attitude is a pleasant breath of fresh air compared to the mayor’s gruff comments and you can’t help but laugh along with him. as you see more of each other, becoming close enough to chat over drinks at the tavern quite often, he brings you back interesting trinkets from his trips. in your minimalist home, they make the living space feel cosier and actually lived in; not to mention, you can’t help but think of the blond whenever you look at them.
