My curse is wearing a suit jacket with elbow patches while I listen to Joni Mitchell vinyl on giant hi-fi speakers.

My curse that Leonard Bernstein's ghost judges me for not going to the opera more.

I have opinions on jazz and black-and-white films,

I watch experimental animation to unwind,

I'm beatnik after the beatniks all vanished in the Colorado mountains,

Forever trapped in the liner notes of a Firesign Theatre album:

I was a teenage Woody Allen protagonist.

I made the sound design for this in one night, I got all of my clothes wet in a rainstorm and had to stay in the computer lab all night wearing a sweater my friend had given me that genuinely disintegrated on me leaving black fuzz all over my skin which took a few showers to get rid of.
