With how some fans are in his fandom, making sexual comments about him, creating NSFW fanart of him and manips that put him in certain situations and positions that he's probably not comfortable with, it's understandable if he's more conscious of how he's perceived and the way he looks in some photos. I've seen some fans freak out and make a big deal out of some poses he's done and use it as "proof" that he ships Sterek or Hobrien, when he was just indulging the fan and probably didn't think it meant anything but the fans did./// I think this is it mostly. He's aware people photoshop these photos with certain poses to make manips etc. It would honestly freak me out too if I'm not comfortable with how I'm being portrayed by random people on the internet. It's actually really weird.

Yep. And the people who do it don't consider that, they don't think about how he might feel about it. Having your face on NSFW art isn't exactly something most people would be comfortable with. There's a reason it's banned from being signed at cons.

I think he doesn't want to look stupid or ridiculous, or have a photo be posted on social media where he's doing something that certain fans will take the wrong way. Like some fans make a big deal of some poses that are Sterek themed or photos that could be turned into something shippy.// AND he seems to have started wearing over sized clothing for all his pictures - with the exception of the Superman thing. Almost like he’s trying to hide himself. It strikes me that he’s probably quite insecure about the way he is perceived.

His clothing choices lately are definitely odd, he needs at least a size smaller in those jackets, some of the shirts and definitely less baggy pants. It might be because he's seen the comments about his weight, how he's not as bulky as he used to be, but wearing loose clothes makes him look smaller.

Sign-ups to participate in the 7th Annual 12 Days of Sterek Christmas/holiday calendar are now open!

About:

The 12 Days of Sterek is a holiday calendar with original fan-created works. Works will be posted on the 12 days leading up to Christmas, starting December 14th.

What kind of works:

In terms of what you can do for the calendar, it can be anything: fic, art, manips, graphics, fanmixes, fanvids, whatever.

As long as it’s Sterek/Hobrien and we can post it, it can be whatever you want. (It doesn’t even have to be winter-y/holiday themed!)

Deadlines and Dates:

Sign-ups will close November 1st.

Submission deadline is December 10th.

Works will start posting December 14th-December 25th. (It could be beyond that depending on the number of submissions).

*SAME AS LAST YEAR*

All works must be submitted to the AO3 collection and will be auto-posted to Tumblr from there. For non-fic works that would like an exception to this, they must contact the admin. More detailed submission instructions will be posted closer to the submission deadline.

You can collaborate with someone else, but please figure that out between yourselves and indicate that on your form.

I haven’t watched the episode yet but I’m loving all the gifsets! He looks so good (as usual). And I always love when either of them have new content out because I know we usually get to enjoy it twice - the show/movie on its own and then the sterek aus/edits/manips that follow! Can’t wait to see what this amazing fandom comes up with next!
