Eternalsterek Secret Santa 2017

Welcome Back to the Second-Annual Eternalsterek Secret Santa Gift Exchange!

We had amazing success with both the first annual Eternalsterek Secret Santa and the Sterek Summer Exchange, and we’re so excited to bring back this awesome event. We are not the only holiday gift exchange, so be sure to check out all your options (enough love for Sterek to go around). We’ve also implemented a few changes that should help things flow more smoothly. Let’s get started!

You will then be matched with a recipient based off both your & your giftee’s submission forms.

Make sure to check out the guidelines to ensure your gift will be accepted and submitted correctly.

When you finish your gift, you will submit it here.

Your gift will be posted on this blog December 24/25th for your giftee (& everyone else) to view and adore.

The big reveal will be on December 26th, where all the participants will be informed of who created what gift.

Sign-ups to participate in the 7th Annual 12 Days of Sterek Christmas/holiday calendar are now open!

About:

The 12 Days of Sterek is a holiday calendar with original fan-created works. Works will be posted on the 12 days leading up to Christmas, starting December 14th.

What kind of works:

In terms of what you can do for the calendar, it can be anything: fic, art, manips, graphics, fanmixes, fanvids, whatever.

As long as it’s Sterek/Hobrien and we can post it, it can be whatever you want. (It doesn’t even have to be winter-y/holiday themed!)

Deadlines and Dates:

Sign-ups will close November 1st.

Submission deadline is December 10th.

Works will start posting December 14th-December 25th. (It could be beyond that depending on the number of submissions).

*SAME AS LAST YEAR*

All works must be submitted to the AO3 collection and will be auto-posted to Tumblr from there. For non-fic works that would like an exception to this, they must contact the admin. More detailed submission instructions will be posted closer to the submission deadline.

Other Info:

You can collaborate with someone else, but please figure that out between yourselves and indicate that on your form.

If you need prompts or ideas, check out our an ideas tag. Otherwise, you are welcome to create anything you would like to submit.

I haven’t watched the episode yet but I’m loving all the gifsets! He looks so good (as usual). And I always love when either of them have new content out because I know we usually get to enjoy it twice - the show/movie on its own and then the sterek aus/edits/manips that follow! Can’t wait to see what this amazing fandom comes up with next!

@andavs: Leda is just stellar. 15/10 art. 15/10 fic. Collabs with @petals42. And I do really enjoy that my life in North Dakota baffles her occasionally. 

@exhuastedpigeon: Like Beth, the Venn Diagram of our interests is veeeeery nearly a circle. I love all your writing ever and I love your OSA and their persistence (it’s not me btw ;)) 

@lena221b: See on the flip side here our interests are not always matching but I get exposed to the loveliest Kingsman, Bond, and Black Sails content which I enjoy even if I’m not involved in those fandoms. Also, the nakked people. Those are pretty great posts too tbh. (it’s just so artful I mean come on)

@chillwhiskey: So like, idk if I’ve even talked to Marissa but she posts the greatest real hockey things and the best Check Please! posts and writes the best (and some of my favorite) Check Please! fics and is likely to blame for my unending loyalty to Marc Andre Fleury. 

BUT HOW CAN I LIMIT THIS TO FIVE PEOPLE HANNAH HOW. 

Because @ereborne posts really intriguing things and her life is just, wow, i couldn’t survive it. and @ladiekatie is my bestie. and @redneckyacht posts such pretty architecture and history things and lets me complain to her everyday. and i still love @pale-silver-comb and her dedication to mermaids. and i don’t talk to @rubyredhoodling but i get so much top notch sterek content and cute animals from her blog (same for @wibblywobblytimeywimeygirl) and @ryvetted4 has the best manips and the best updates on hobrien in real life. and then i follow a few people that have moved on from teen wolf and are enjoying new things but things I enjoy tangentially like @crossroadswrite and @veronicabunch and @wolftraps. and i’m missing people like @mad-madam-m and @petals42 in her own right and @dylanlovesthemets and @doctortay and @notenoughgatorade. To borrow Tay’s phrase though, for real, i love everyone in this bar.

About my most recent manip and why it might look familiar (under the cut)

Alright so apparently a lot of people took the initiative of making a hobrien or sterek edit/manip from the pictures released of the L.A. premiere of AA and Dylan. And the image of Hoechlin they used for the manips seem to be of the same red carpet event he attended. And I can honestly say I spent 3 hours making my photoset and I tried several images of Hoechlin from different events to get the best look. Apparently other people had the same idea. Go figure. But I’d just like to say, I don’t know about anyone else, but the idea for my edit/photoset is original and I did the edit while avoiding other more pressing responsibilities.. you know, as you do.. I wasn’t even checking stuff online after the pics came out except to reblog them and then make my manip. I guess lots of people just had the same idea at the same time or something... idk
