This will most likely not be explored in Beyond the Spider-verse but Margo and Gwen have such interesting similarities. Both are smart, tough, emotionally guarded young girls, who abandoned their families (though Margo is still physically present with hers) because living at home became unbearable and no grownup in their respective universes could help.
Spider HQ was an easy escape both from that mess and from the terror of being a kid dealing with heavy shit by yourself; they were too relieved at first to really question Miguel's motives or methods. (Hobie is just a few years older but has been on his own for a lot longer; he learned the necessary self-reliance to be wary of any institute offering easy solutions in exchange for autonomy.) Now Gwen and Margo have lost that escape and can only rely on the other members of their little outlaw group.
They could have a neat dynamic wherein Miles, still angry at Gwen, starts connecting more with Margo, particularly over their shared use of electricity; Gwen's jealous of course but knows she has no leg to stand on. Eventually the girls start talking, find things in common, bond over their affection for Miles and being two of the only girls on Team Spider-Outlaw; there are so many possibilities for how their friendship could grow. Perhaps they go to an electrical dead zone where Margo's Spider-Byte avatar can't function so she goes in person, and suddenly feels extremely vulnerable being there as "just Margo"--but Gwen, having an opportunity to gloat, instead reminds her that "just Margo" created a digital self that can cross dimensions, so she's pretty fabulous even without all the bells and whistles. When Margo regains her powers later she in turn can save Gwen by making Miguel's suit glitch, or creating a hologram of a dimension-hopping portal to trick the Spot.

Part 11 | Part 12 | Part 13
Tumblr media
It had been a few days since Y/N had been taken and Jungkook had not come out of his room. Not even to eat. It was worrying Jin that his youngest boyfriend had shut himself off from everyone. Jin was actually reaching his limit. His baby needed to come out soon or else he would break down the door.
Namjoon was right - they all needed to stick together. It would make the whole ordeal a lot easier to go through with as they had each other to lean on. Y/N had no one which was something Jin was worried about. Yoongi had told them all about the conversation he had had with Y/N after Jackson had found her at Disneyland, and Jin was worried. They all were. The police had been informed of the possible intentions and Y/N’s case was a top priority. They had people working on it day and night.
Jin sighed as he knocked on Jungkook’s door. “Kookie, please, let me in.” He begged. “Hyung needs to talk to you. To know you are okay. Please baby. Please.” There was still no answer. If Jin pressed his ear to the door and listened hard enough, he was able to hear soft sobs. He was scared for Jungkook. The boy had been close to self-harming a few years ago, and he didn’t want that to happen again.
He remembered when they found out. It was the second year of their relationship and Jungkook, who was usually the cuddly fluffball of the group, was withdrawn and quiet, often speeding up to his room and locking the door whenever they came back from dance practices and recordings. Yoongi had been telling them that something felt off, but whenever they confronted the maknae about it, he would dismiss it as not feeling well, or would even go as far as to ignore them completely.
It had gotten to the point where Yoongi insisted that they get inside Jungkook’s room and adjoining bathroom. The night they did that, using Namjoon to break down the door after Jungkook would not open, they discovered Jungkook stood with a razor blade hovered above his wrist. Yoongi had wasted no time and had knocked the razor out of his hand, bundling the younger up in his arms and whisking him away to talk. Yoongi was always the best at this, being experienced himself in the matter of depression. Yoongi still had his bad days, but he would spend them curled up next to either Hoseok or Jin while he voiced his feelings to the whole group.
And Jin was now feeling that exact same feeling. He needed to get to Jungkook. He needed to know he was okay. “Jungkook, if you don’t open the door, I’m going to have to break it down myself.” There was still no answer.
Jin was terrified. What if the maknae had cut too deep and had been bleeding out in the bathroom for the past few hours? What if he had tried to kill himself and been injured badly? What if he had killed himself?
“Joon!” Jin called out for the younger member as he ran to the man’s studio, banging on the door. Namjoon opened the door, looking both hopeful and scared.
“Have they found her? Is she alive?” Jin felt his heart break at the look on Namjoon’s face.
“Oh, Joonie, no, I’m sorry. They haven’t found her yet.” He said, pulling the younger into a hug. “But it’s Kook. I’m worried about him. I’m getting the same feeling I did before. I’m scared Joon. I can’t lose two of them.”
“What do you need me to do?”
--------------------
Taehyung was curled up in Hoseok’s side, tear tracks running down his sleep-swollen cheeks. Every single night, he had cried himself to sleep for the loss of Y/N, as well as Yoongi and Jungkook, and it broke Hoseok’s heart at how hurt they all were. He wanted to kill Jackson for putting them all through this. The police were in the process of locating him - they were getting in touch with the tracking company to request the location of the phone, but it was taking longer than wanted as the company was not open on the weekend. This had made Bang PD-nim start to look into other tracking companies that were open 24/7 just in case this happened again, which Hoseok prayed it didn’t.
He glanced over at the clock and saw it was almost time for dinner. Taehyung had completely lost his appetite, so Hoseok had been forcing him to eat to keep himself healthy. They had all been forcing themselves to eat, apart from Jungkook who had locked his bedroom door and was not coming out at all.
He rubbed a hand over Tae’s back gently, a faint smile ghosting over his lips when he felt his hand tighten on his shirt, the longer fingers twisting the fabric.
“Tae baby, you need to wake up. We need to go and eat.” Hoseok said softly, making Taehyung whine and nestle into him.
“No Hobi hyung, I’m not hungry.” He said, his deep voice scratchy and slurred.
“I know, baby, but we have to. We need to keep healthy. It’s what Y/N would want.” Hoseok reminded him. Taehyung shook his head.
“I’m not hungry! I don’t want to eat! I just want Y/N back!” Taehyung cried. Hoseok sighed sympathetically and pulled the younger on top of him, wrapping his arms around his back.
“I know, baby, I know. So do I. But if we aren’t healthy, we could be in hospital when they find her, okay? She wouldn’t want us to hurt ourselves.” Hoseok said softly. “So let’s go down and have some ramen and then we can come back here and cuddle okay?”
“Can we see if Jungkookie wants to come eat with us?” Taehyung looked at his hyung. Hoseok nodded and stroked his cheek gently.
“Of course we can.” He kissed Tae’s forehead. “Come on, let’s go.”
----------
Jimin pushed open Yoongi’s bedroom door with his foot, his hands carrying two bowls of rice and kimchi. Yoongi hadn’t been doing too well; the pain of losing Y/N as well as the guilt of hurting Jungkook had not settled with him at all and continuously made him feel worse as the days dragged on. Jimin hoped that it would be over soon.
“Hyung, I’ve got us some food.” Jimin said softly, setting the bowls down on the bedside table before climbing onto the bed. Yoongi hummed and pulled the younger onto his lap. “How are you feeling?” He asked, pressing a kiss to Yoongi’s cheek.
“Not good.” Yoongi replied. “I feel awful, actually. I just wish Jungkookie would let me talk to him. That’s one thing I can fix.” Jimin nodded and grabbed the bowls.
“It’s okay, hyung. It will all be okay.” The smaller boy comforted him before lifting some rice to his hyung’s mouth. “Now eat something, please.”
“I’m really not hungry, Jiminie.” Yoongi said, glancing at the chopsticks in front of him.
“I know, but Hobi hyung said we need to eat to stay healthy because that’s what Y/N would want.” Jimin said, holding the chopsticks in front of his mouth. “Just a few mouthfuls, please, I don’t want you to get ill.”
“Fine.” Yoongi opened his mouth and allowed Jimin to feed him. “You know, I should be the one taking care of you because I’m older.”
“But you’re my boyfriend and I love you.” Jimin reminded him. “So I’m allowed to take care of you.”
“How are you feeling?” Yoongi asked, taking the bowl out of Jimin’s hands and putting his hands on his waist. Jimin stilled. He hadn’t admitted how he was feeling just yet. Not even to himself. He had pushed his feelings down so he could take care of Yoongi.
“I...” Jimin trailed off, making Yoongi narrow his eyes at him. “I don’t know...”
“Okay, Jiminie. That’s okay. You’re probably feeling so many things that you can’t distinguish between each one.” Yoongi said. He reached over and took some rice out of the bowl with the chopsticks. “Your turn.” Jimin opened his mouth and ate the rice.
“Hyung? Why don’t you go and see if Jungkookie will talk to you? Jin hyung said he hadn’t left his room in ages. I’m scared for him.” Jimin said after swallowing his mouthful of rice.
“I can try, baby. After we finish eating I’ll try and talk to him, okay?” Yoongi stroked Jimin’s hair out of his face. “You eat too, little one.”
“I’m only one centimetre shorter than you, Min Yoongi!” Jimin playfully hit Yoongi’s arm.
“Yeah but you’re still my little one since you’re younger than me and everything about you is tiny and cute.” Yoongi said taking Jimin’s smaller hands in his.
“My dick isn’t small, hyung!” Jimin whined. Yoongi hummed and kissed Jimin’s forehead.
“Yes, but it is smaller than everyone else.” Yoongi pointed out. “But I love each and every part of you.” He leaned up and pecked Jimin on the lips. “Thank you for cheering me up.”
“I love you.” Jimin grabbed his bowl and began to eat. “I miss Y/N, though. I’m worried for her.”
“I miss her too.” Yoongi replied, a frown on his face. “I want to kill him for taking her. I need her back with me.”
“She needs to be back with all of us. I don’t even want to think about what’s happening to her. She must be in so much pain.” Jimin set down his bowl.
“But the police are finding their location as soon as they can and as soon as that has been found, we will have Y/N back with us.” Yoongi said. Jimin knew that he was seeing the positive side of things, and trying not to think of the worst-case scenario.
“Okay, I’m going to go and talk to Jungkook.” Yoongi finished his rice and set the bowl aside. “Why don’t you go and have a shower? I’ll be back soon.”
--------------------
Everything felt grey to Jungkook. Just grey. One of the seven lights of his life were gone and the others had dimmed to nothing, leaving everything murky shades of grey. He was wearing one of his tshirts that Y/N would always wear for bed. It smelt like her and that helped the aching hole inside of me, but it did nothing for the endless amounts of guilt he felt.
This was all his fault. If only he had gone home with her, then she would still be with them. He was stupid and not worthy of being her soulmate.
His door had been locked since she had been taken and every so often one of his hyungs would knock and beg him to open. But he couldn’t let them in. He didn’t want to be met with their disappointed faces. He probably wouldn’t be able to ever face them again.
He stretched his arms, ignoring the pain that lanced from his wrists and the growling of his empty stomach. He looked down at his forearms and saw his bandages had become bloody. Time to change them. The cuts would only fuel his hyungs disappointment in him if they found out.
He shuffled into the bathroom, avoiding his image in the mirror, knowing that he looked awful with an unshaved face and unwashed hair. He unwrapped the bandages and rinsed his arms under the water to wash off the blood.
Cut more You deserve it You deserve this pain It’s all your fault
Ever since Y/N had been taken the voices had come back and Jungkook had succumbed to what they were telling him to do. He looked at his arms, the red lines criss-crossing the lengths of his forearms, slashing through some of his tattoos.
That’s it Jungkook Let yourself feel what Y/N is feeling Your hyungs are so disappointed in you You should just end it all now
Jungkook’s fingers wrapped around the bloodied razor he had been using. He slashed it over his wrists again.
Go deeper Jungkook Deep enough to kill But not yet You still have to suffer
Jungkook pressed harder, his skin splitting apart and blood running out, streaming down his arms. He sobbed to himself, the neverending pressure of the guilt weighing down on him, making him feel like he couldn’t breathe. He slammed his hands onto the sink, leaving bloodied handprints and smears on the white porcelain before staggering over to his room and collapsing on the bed, letting him exhaustion wash over him. He hadn’t cut deep enough to kill himself. He had to suffer more first.
--------------------
Yoongi could feel something was wrong. Very wrong. Wrong enough to make his stomach churn and his heart pound faster. He sat up quickly, accidentally waking up Jimin who hummed and looked around sleepily.
“Go back to sleep, Min.” Yoongi said softly. “I’ll be back soon. I’m just going to check on Jungkook.” He kissed Jimin softly and gently pushed him down so he was lying down. Jimin hummed and closed his eyes, a hand clutching at the blankets surrounding him. He smiled at the younger boy before slipping out the room and making his way over to Jungkook’s room.
When he got there, he saw Jin and Namjoon attempting to break down the door. Yoongi looked at the pair of them with an eyebrow raised.
“He’s been in there too long, Yoongs. This ends now. He needs to know that we all love him and want him around and that we don’t blame him. He needs to know that you don’t blame him.” Jin said, stepping back as Namjoon rammed his shoulder into the door, a loud bang echoing through the house. Namjoon hissed but ignored the apparent pain as he continued to bang into the door. There was a loud crack and the door swung open.
“Oh God!” Jin screamed, hands covering his mouth. Yoongi’s heart stopped. No. Not Jungkook too. He couldn’t lose both of them.
He pushed Jin out of the way and was met with the sight of blood. So much blood. Jungkook was lying on his bed, eyes closed. Yoongi watched closely hoping and praying to see the rise and fall of his chest. He saw Jungkook breathe and it was steady.
“Joon, take Jin hyung somewhere else. I’ve got this.” Yoongi said, rubbing Namjoon’s shoulder. The younger looked hesitant but led Jin away. Yoongi took a deep breath and entered the room. There was a lot of blood, covering the bedsheets and Kookie’s arms. There were smears on the wall in the shapes of fingers and hands, where he had clearly dragged himself to bed. Yoongi felt his heart break. Not his Kookie. His happy bunny.
“I’m so sorry, baby. I am so so sorry.” He said, stroking the youngest’s hair before going into the bathroom to get some warm water and disinfectant and bandages. They needed to be careful with Jungkook now. He gently reached out and took hold of Jungkook’s hand, straightening out his arm so he could clean away all the blood and germs. He dipped one of the towels into the water and squeezed it before wiping it over the maknae’s arms.
“Oh, Kookie.” He sighed, seeing the numerous cuts that were still healing - some being scabbed over, but others still open. He sprayed some disinfectant over his arms and wrapped bandages around them. “I’m so sorry, baby. Hyung is so sorry.” Yoongi felt awful. If only he hadn’t yelled at Jungkook then this would not have happened.
He quickly cleaned up the room before collapsing on the bed next to the younger boy. “I love you so much, Jeon Jungkook.” He whispered before closing his eyes and pulling the younger closer to him. He kissed his forehead before allowing himself to fall asleep next to the maknae.
--------------------
When Jungkook woke up he could feel arms around his waist which was strange considering he had locked his door. He frowned as he opened his eyes, looking around his room to figure out what was going on. His arms had been bandaged and cleaned which he didn’t remember doing, and his door was open. He paused. They must have knocked down the door.
He looked over his shoulder and saw the sleeping face and faded blond hair of his hyung, Yoongi. He gulped. He didn’t want to have this conversation. Not now, and if he got his way, not ever. He should just run away from them and never return. Then he would never have to face them for what he has done.
He pushed himself out of Yoongi’s arms and walked over to his wardrobe, throwing his clothes into some bags.
“What do you think you’re doing, mister?” He heard a sleepy yet stern voice ask from behind him.
“Noth-nothing?” Jungkook winced as his voice rose in pitch at the end, making it sound like he wasn’t sure about what he was saying.
“Really?‘Cause it looks like you’re packing a bag of clothes.” Yoongi sat up in the bed, the sheets rustling. “Now put it down and come here.” Jungkook paused and reluctantly set down the bag before shuffling over to the bed and perching on the end.
“Look, hyung, I know it’s all my fault, can you please just leave me alone.” Jungkook said, but Yoongi ignored him and pulled him closer by his waist, being wary of his injured arms.
“Just listen to me, Koo, please.” Koo. He hadn’t been called that since Y/N had been taken. He felt a pang in his heart as he sniffled. He sighed and wiped his eyes as he looked at his hyung. Yoongi’s eyes softened as he reached out and wiped a stray tear from Jungkook’s cheek.
“I am so sorry I said that to you. I should never have said that. I was just angry and upset and I know that this is not a good excuse, but I just took it out on you. It’s not your fault. You were looking out for her and called someone to bring her home. How would you know that Sejin would have been intercepted and his phone stolen?”
Jungkook pursed his lips. He could hear what Yoongi was saying to him, but it wasn’t sinking in. He didn’t feel any less guilty. “But I should have gone home with her! I should have walked her to the car and made sure that it was actually Sejin. We all know how many people are out there to hurt us and I let my guard down, thinking that for one day there wouldn’t be hate or someone that wanted to hurt her, and look what happened!”
“Jungkook, stop, please!” Yoongi pulled the younger onto his lap, so Jungkook was facing him, legs either side of his hyung’s lap. “Stop beating yourself up about this. This is not your fault. It will never be your fault. None of us blame you. So, please, stop blaming yourself.”
“But-” Jungkook was quietened by Yoongi pressing a finger to his lips.
“So just stop blaming yourself. No buts, okay? We all love you, so much, and we were so worried when you didn’t come out of your room for days.” Yoongi gently lifted up Jungkook’s arm. “And now we know that this is one of the reasons for your hiding...” He trailed off, looking pointedly at the bandages on Jungkook’s arms.
“I’m sorry, hyung, I just, I needed to.” Jungkook sobbed.
“Hey, don’t cry, baby, please don’t cry.” Yoongi’s voice cracked as he pulled Jungkook into his chest. “We’ve got you. We’re always going to be here for you, okay? We can talk to you, be there for you, give you all of the cuddles in the world. Just please, don’t hurt yourself again. It’s dangerous and it could kill you, Koo.”
“That’s what I wanted.” Jungkook whispered.
“Shit, Kook.” Yoongi froze and stiffened. “No, no, no, baby, no.” He held onto Jungkook’s jaw, his thumb stroking gently. “Just talk to us, don’t lock yourself away. We’re going to help you through this, okay? It’s all going to be okay.”
“But I’m not okay, hyung. And I don’t think I ever will be until she’s back with us.” Jungkook had tears running down his cheeks. Yoongi did too.
“Neither am I, baby. But if we stick together, we should be alright.” Yoongi said. “I love you, so much, Jeon Jungkook. I hope you know that.”
“I love you more, Min Yoongi.” Jungkook leaned his forehead against Yoongi’s.
“Oh, I don’t think that’s possible, baby boy.” Yoongi kissed his lips. “I’m so glad you’re okay.”
“Thank you.” Jungkook said, resting his head on Yoongi’s shoulder.
“You’re welcome, little prince.” Yoongi kissed his forehead. They cuddled for a while before Jimin. burst into the room.
“Hyung, they found her!”

Summary— The summer solstice is here and it’s time to celebrate. Your favorite part of the solstice is that you get to see Hoseok, or rather, the love of your life. It’s too bad you haven’t told him how you really felt, even though it has been centuries. Maybe this year will be different.
A/N— This fic is part of The Fabled Collab hosted by @joontopia, @kimtaehyunq, and @whipped-for-kpop-fics. Hoseok is my sunshine, so I just had to write about him! Thank you to @s0seo and @taegularities for giving me motivation to write. Lastly, huge shoutout to Eden from @thebiasrekkers for making this awesome banner for me! As always, let me know how you guys like the fic! My askbox is always open <3
Tumblr media
Fae clans have many holidays and rituals, but solstices are by far the most celebrated. Solstices mark the pivotal event that shifts the seasonal responsibilities between the sun and moon clans. The summer and winter solstice are always the biggest events of the year, with about a week of festivities leading up to the final event.
Sweat ran down your spine as the sun beat down on you. You’ve been holding up a stupid banner for what felt like an eternity.
“Okay wait, you’re gonna hate me but I think we should put it back to where we originally had it,” Sunghoon said with furrowed brows.
“That’s it. We’ve been doing this all morning. Figure this out yourself,” you angrily threw down the banner and stormed off before Sunghoon had the chance to yell at you.
You ignored the friendly calls from other fae that were setting up decor nearby. It was way past your bedtime. Cranky and drenched in sweat, you were definitely not a happy night fairy. Heading straight to the pond, you derobed and found comfort in the cool waters that  washed away your stress instantly. You gazed up at the blue sky while floating on your back. The day truly was beautiful, you couldn’t deny that. However, nighttime was better in your very much biased opinion. The dark sky littered with countless stars that glittered like diamonds was an unbeatable sight.
“Hey there sunshine!” a familiar voice interrupted your thoughts. You dipped back into the water and turned to the source of the sound.
“Hey there, perv. Care to join me?” you beckoned.
“I wish I could, but I need to go finalize some plans for the handoff ceremony--”
“It’s the same EVERY year. C’mon Hobi, you don’t need to go,” you whined.
“I’ll meet you back here at sunset, how does that sound?” he tried to appease you.
“Midnight. I’m already exhausted, I don’t wanna wake up early,” you blew raspberries into the pond.
“That’s fair. I’ll see you then okay?” Hoseok waved before flying off.
Tumblr media
On top of parties filled with indulgences that would blow the mind of any feeble human, Hoseok was the added bonus that made you eager for each solstice. Admittedly, you two have had some sort of flirtationship going on for the past few centuries. Your friends always teased you about how madly head over heels you were for him. As much as you wanted to believe that he loved you in the same way, something always felt off.
Hoseok always reciprocated your flirtatious advances, but it felt more like a game between friends rather than something substantial. You’ve even observed his interactions with other fairies, and it didn’t seem like he gave you any special treatment. He was simply a good friendly guy that everyone loved, but not the way that you loved him.
You were dying to know how he truly felt about you. All these years of playful banter had been fun, but they had also been simultaneously eating away at you. There’s no way he doesn’t know that you love him. At the same time, what if he thinks you’re just a good friend? You needed to know for sure, and you intended to confront him about it at midnight.
Tumblr media
“Good evening,” you greeted Hoseok shyly as you approached the pond’s bank.
“Good day to you sunshine,” Hoseok called back as he kicked at the water.
“How’d the meeting go?” you asked.
“Boring as always. You’re right, it’s the same every year. But the elders still want to go over everything again to ensure that the ceremony is perfect,” Hoseok sighed.
“Thanks for coming to hangout with me even though you’re so busy,” you said, suddenly feeling guilty.
“Are you kidding? I’ve been looking forward to this all day! You’re the perfect person to unwind with after a long day,” Hoseok smiled. There it was. The radiant smile you fell for the first time you ever met him.
“You sure I’m the perfect person for that? What do you do when you’re back in your own land surrounded by other day fae?” you prodded, hoping to steer the conversation onto the ‘what are we’ topic.
“I have my friends there for sure, and I appreciate them too. But it’s different with you. Maybe because I can only hangout with you twice a year. You’re like my super special friend, yaknow?” Hoseok tried to explain.
“Uh yeah, for sure. Like a special playdate kind of thing huh?” you tried to hide your hurt feelings.
“Exactly! You get it. It’s like you’re my favorite dessert that I can only have twice a year,” Hoseok nodded.
“Right…” you whispered softly to yourself. You spent the rest of the night listening to the unfruitful discussions Hoseok had during his meetings. All the excitement over the festival had drained from you. Now, you just wanted it to be over so you can go sulk in peace.
“You’re awfully quiet,” Hoseok observed, “You haven’t interjected once about how stupid our traditions are or how you’re looking forward to having long nights again.”
“Hm? Oh yeah, I’m just tired. Sunghoon really worked me to the bone yesterday, that damn day fairy,” you faked a yawn.
“Hey, be nice! Wasn’t it you who volunteered to help us anyway?” Hoseok shook his head.
‘Yeah, because I thought I’d be able to work with you,’ you thought.
“It was a bizarre streak of altruism, that’s all,” you shrugged.
“Nah, I know you’re a kind fairy deep down!” Hoseok playfully nudged your shoulder. Normally you would welcome this type of physical affection, but for right now it served as a painful reminder that you were merely seen as a buddy.
Tumblr media
You actively avoided Hoseok for the remainder of the week, counting down the hours to when it would finally all be over. You made up some lame excuse to not hangout with Hoseok every time he approached you. He must have caught on by the final day, either that or he was extremely busy. Afterall, he was the MC for the entire ordeal.
Apparently, your abrasive reputation preceded you because no one wanted your help with anything. As soon as they saw you coming, they would randomly find themselves very preoccupied with something that made them too busy to talk to you. The only person who would put you to work was Sunghoon, who was one of Hoseok’s best friends. You wondered why he was always so nice to you even when you complained the entire time you helped him.
“That’s the last table! They all look great, thanks for helping with the set up,” Sunghoon gave you a thumbs up.
“You know it’s pointless setting up all these tables. Most of the fairies are just gonna be dancing or fucking all night long, no one is gonna be sitting down,” you said.
“Are you gonna be one of the fairies partying?” Sunghoon inquired.
“Definitely not,” you answered curtly.
“Then I’m happy at least one of these tables will be utilized,” Sunghoon nodded, “Try to enjoy yourself tonight okay?”
“Whatever,” you rolled your eyes.
The entire forest seemed to come alive that night. The trees swayed with the enchanting music while cheers of merriment erupted around the party scene. You sat alone at a mushroom table with your third (or was it fourth?) cup of berry wine. You glared at the fairies who had lost themselves to their pleasures, whether it be the wine or the toadstools, or perhaps even both. Fairies who had given into their more lustful urges could be seen on the outskirts of the dance floor, some in the innocent stages of kissing and others entangled full fledged fornication. Scoffing at the obscene orgy, you stumbled off to get another cup of wine. Even though you weren’t really participating, you had to admit that fairies knew how to throw a party.
“Hey ___, I noticed you’ve been by yourself the whole evening. Want some company?” someone asked behind you as you filled up your mug to the brim. You turned to see two Sunghoons merge to become one hazy Sunghoon in the blink of an eye.
“F-ffuck off Sunghoon,” you slurred.
“I wanted to thank you for all the hard work you did for this year’s summer solstice,” Sunghoon continued, unfazed by your harshness, “Wanna dance to celebrate?”
“Nope,” you answered as you pushed him aside.
Tumblr media
“Yeah she seemed pretty pissed dude,” Sunghoon said while taking a large swig.
“At you or in general?” Hoseok inquired.
“Dunno man, she’s always been like that. However, she seemed more aggravated than usual, which is hard to imagine,” Sunghoon chuckled, “Did you do something to her?”
“No! I’ve been replaying everything we talked about at the pond but everything seemed fine! I even told her that she was my super special friend and---oh shit,” Hoseok’s face fell.
“Idiot,” Sunghoon tsked.
Tumblr media
Both fae clans had gathered by the main stage, intently listening to the same speeches that the clan leaders have spoken for centuries. You watched apathetically as the everlasting flame was being formally handed over. The crowd roared as the flame changed from a deep crimson red to an icy silver color with a blue hue, signifying that the solstice had come to pass.
If the festival wasn’t wild before, it had only gotten more out of hand after the official ceremony. Seeing the other fairies go wild in every sense of the word made you nauseous. The noise level intensified as you watched your fairy brethren engage in rather promiscuous activities. Someone even beckoned for you to join in the fun, but you just walked away. The only person you wanted to have that kind of fun with was Hoseok. It infuriated you that your thoughts always drifted to him. You filled up your cup one last time and walked away from the ruckus, towards an empty grove. Hopefully you would be able to wallow in self pity in peace there.
The stars twinkled above you, and dim moonlight speckled the ground around you as it shone through the trees. You could still hear the party, but it was much fainter now and served as nice background noise to keep you from drowning in your thoughts. With a deep exhale, you fought to hold back tears. You felt so foolish. Too many years have been wasted in vain for an unrequited love that you should have seen coming. It was so stupid of you to hold onto a sliver of hope that Hoseok would like you back.
“The party is that way,” a familiar voice called out to you.
“Then why aren’t you there?” you didn’t try to mask the annoyance in your voice.
“I saw you walk away, I wanted to check up on you.”
“Why the fuck would you even care?” you sat up and hissed.
“Why are you being so hostile? You’re the one who has been avoiding me all week!” Hoseok raised his voice.
“I’m sure you didn’t have much time to spend with me anyway,” you huffed.
“That’s not true. I spent every moment of my free time looking for you, only for you to turn me away. Can you tell me what’s wrong?” Hoseok calmed down.
“Fine. I’m in love with you, okay? How fucking embarrassing. It hurt when you said that I was your super best friend or whatever. Seeing you afterward just reminded me of how dumb I am,” you couldn’t make eye contact with him.
“Oh sunshine, I’m the idiot. I shouldn’t have said that. You’re my special friend because I like you too. I wanted to spend every second with you this week. I didn’t mean to hurt you like that, I’m so sorry ____,” Hoseok got down on his knees and pulled you in for a hug. You were stunned.
“Why didn’t you say anything sooner then!” you pushed him off.
“I thought it was obvious from the way we flirted!” he argued.
“You’re nice to everyone, it was hard for me to tell,” you pouted.
“My apologies for not being a sourpuss like you,” Hoseok laughed.
“So...what now? It wasn’t really a romantic confession but I guess our feelings are out in the open now,” you whispered as you leaned against him.
Suddenly, Hoseok pushed you back to the ground, straddling your hips. His dark hair nearly covered his eyes as he looked down at you. He was beyond beautiful, his white iridescent wings glittered ethereally in the moonlight.
“Remember when I said you’re like a dessert I can only have twice a year? I’d like to make that a reality,” Hobi smirked. He bent over to kiss you. It was soft at first, his plush lips pressing up against yours. He gently cupped your face with one hand while the other wandered to your chest, undoing your blouse. Lust overtook the both of you as the kiss deepened and Hoseok fondled your breasts. You let out a small gasp as he played with your nipples, rolling them between his fingers.
“Spread those legs for me, sunshine,” he demanded.
You complied, slowly exposing yourself to him. You couldn’t bring yourself to look at him while in such a compromising position. Hoseok gingerly kissed a trail along your inner thighs towards your core. His hot breath against your pussy made you squirm under him in anticipation.
“So impatient,” he chuckled, “Let’s play a game. You have to make eye contact with me while I eat you out. Every time you look away, I stop.”
“You’re evil,” you huffed before reluctantly looking at the beautiful being perched between your legs.
“That’s my girl,” he purred approvingly before spreading your folds with his fingers. His eyes darkened with lust as you watched him lick tantalizingly slow stripes. He could feel your need for more, so he moved up to focus on your clit, giving it special attention as his tongue swirled around it.
You tangled your fingers into his hair, gripping him tighter as he licked your clit faster. All your composure was lost as you looked down at him with pleading eyes.
“What is it? Need more?” Hoseok teased as his fingers traced your entrance.
“Please,” you whimpered.
“Please what?” Hoseok feigned ignorance
“Please touch me,” you said softly.
“We need to work on your begging, but you’re so adorable I can’t say no,” Hobi dove back into stimulating your clit as he slipped a finger inside of you. He smirked at how easily he went in, and immediately added a second finger. The new feeling had you throwing your head back as he grazed your g-spot. Right as things began to feel good, he retracted everything.
“Hobi!” you cried out in frustration.
“You looked away. Remember the rules to our little game?” Hoseok chided. You glared down at him as he immediately picked up where he left off, not giving you time to readjust. Fighting back the urge to close your eyes, soft moans escaped from your lips.
“Ready to cum, my dear ___?” he asked sweetly as his fingers dipped to directly attack your g-spot.
There was no time to give a proper response. Your back arched and your toes curled up as your orgasm overwhelmed you. Drenched in your juices, Hoseok glistened under the moonlight.
“Absolutely gorgeous,” Hoseok praised, “But I’m not finished with you yet,” he leaned in to whisper in your ear.
He unbuckled his trousers, releasing the monster that dangled between his legs. You willingly spread your legs for him, eager for more.
“So needy, you haven’t had enough yet?” Hoseok tsked as he rubbed the tip of his cock along your folds.
Finally, Hoseok began to bury himself into you. He took his time, relishing how your warm walls squeezed him. You closed your eyes in ecstasy, focusing on feeling every inch of him. Once he bottomed out, you wrapped your legs around him in an attempt to bring him impossibly closer. The dark lust that swam in his eyes broke for a second, replaced by the warm smile that made you fall in love with him in the first place. He bent down to kiss you, and you happily reciprocated.
Hoseok moved his hips slowly as he fucked you at a deep yet gentle pace. Mouths still colliding, you shyly licked at his lips. Taking your hint, Hoseok’s tongue met yours. As the kisses deepened with more saliva being interchanged, Hoseok’s thrusts became harsher.
“You’re so fucking sexy. Lemme see that ass baby,” Hoseok growled as he flipped you over.
He smacked your ass twice and watched it jiggle in awe before placing a firm grip on your hips. Almost animalistically, he bucked into you. Your body jolted forward with each thrust. You had never been fucked this hard before, and it was heavenly. Hoseok’s control over his body movement was insane. Your moans grew louder as his hips continuously rolled into you.
One of Hoseok’s hands formed a tight grip on your hair, roughly bringing your head up off the ground. You couldn’t stop your wanton moans from filling the open air.
“H-Hoseok,” you cried out.
“What is it? Is it too much for you?” Hoseok cooed in your ear as he brought your head back even closer to him.
“Mmm-no,” was all you could make out.
“I knew you could take it all, such a good slut,” Hoseok praised as he let go of your hair.
Unable to hold yourself up, you immediately fell back onto your chest. Your fingernails dug into the dirt as you could feel another orgasm swelling up inside of you.
“I’m gonna cum again,” you wailed out.
“I’m almost there, wait for me baby,” Hoseok instructed.
With perfect timing, Hoseok let out a guttural moan as he spilled his seed inside of you. Sounds of pleasure bounced around the grove as you came in unison. Hoseok’s cum dripped down the sides of your inner thighs when he pulled out.
“How did I do, sunshine?” Hoseok asked jovially as you laid on the ground before him.
“You knocked me out. I don’t think I can move for a while,” you weakly answered with a smile.
“Not a problem, we can just stay here for a while, sunshine,” Hoseok laid down beside you, beckoning for you to rest atop his chest.
“I like when you call me that,” you yawned.
“Sunshine?” Hoseok asked.
“Yeah, that. It makes me feel special,” you nodded.
“Is that so? I’m glad it makes you feel special, because you are. You’ve always been the spunky night fairy that everyone knows but is too afraid to approach,” Hoseok laughed.
“What! I am totally friendly! Just not to those who piss me off,” you defended, “Which...I guess is a lot of people so I suppose I see your point. What made you want to be my friend if everyone thought I’m scary?”
“You treated me like everyone else. It always felt like people put on a fake facade around me since I’m the chief’s son. They’re nice to me to try and curry favor with my father, or maybe flirt with me to try and gain some special sort of status. I don’t know. I’m just me,” Hoseok shrugged.
“If it makes you feel any better, you’re my sunshine,” you hugged him.
“That makes me feel great. I’ll do my best to see you more than twice a year, okay?” he kissed your forehead.
“I guess I can clear my schedule and come over to visit you too,” you giggled, “Or maybe we can run away and make a clan of our own.”
“Are you serious?” he asked, “Don’t tempt me. I’d love to go somewhere where no one knows my name or expects anything from me.”
“How about we go to where the day meets the night?” you offered.
“Like what? An eclipse?” Hoseok said as he gazed into the night sky.
“Precisely. We can make an eclipse clan. We only have to do festivals for eclipses, and those are kinda rare,” you giggled.
“Sounds like a good dream, sunshine. Let’s seriously discuss it in the morning when we’re both more sober,” Hoseok kissed your forehead.
“Goodnight, my sunshine,” you whispered into his chest.

Babies! Oh God! You cannot express how fed up you were because of that word. After you and Jungkook got married, your family members had nothing to talk about to you except babies. It's like they were pressuring you, well scratch that, they were, but unconsciously though. You couldn't blame them. You grew up in a culture that was not really open to the idea of "we are gonna wait a few years until we feel like we're ready."! Yeah, this ideology does not exist!
"Wait until when? I am not living more than I already am!" Your grandma would say, or "wait for what? Are you still getting to know each other after a five-year relationship?" Your grandpa would scoff, and your favourite one was "Hunny, are you kidding? You'll never be ready! No one is ever really ready! … You think me and my sister had you, kids, because we were ready?" Your auntie would say in disbelief laughing lightly at your logic with said sister, your mum, sitting next to her shaking her head in disappointment with a "can you believe her?" murmured in annoyance.
You didn't have the heart to blame your family that's how they were raised for generations, and for you to try and change their mind-set would be difficult, almost impossible. That is until you and Jungkook refused to talk upon the matter anymore saying that this is your life and you're free to do whatever you both agree on, only then did they stop nagging you; however, you knew they were not happy about it.
Jungkook on the other hand never really minded the idea of babies, in fact, if you told him that you were ready, he would gladly help you right away, if you know what I mean, but knowing your concerns, not only did he comfort you, but also respected that you were not there yet, mentally. You would always tell him "I sometimes think that I am still a baby, myself. How can I have one when I think like that!" He would chuckle, patting your head and cuddling you closely "Baby, it's okay. We don't need to have one right now! Why are you so worried about it?" He asked looking down at you since he was resting his chin on your head. "I mean, aren't you bothered about it? Don't you want to have your own child?" You pouted thinking that maybe you're holding one of Jungkook's wishes back which can make you feel that you're not good enough for him. "Well, baby, of course, I want a child, but I want to have it with you, and if you're not ready that's totally fine! I mean when I think about it, it is a huge deal, you're going to house a human being in your body for 9 long months, and your body would go through drastic changes, plus you'd have to not only take care of yourself but the baby growing inside you, as well!" Jungkook cradled you to his chest moving aside a lock of your hair behind your ear. "It's all amazing, but you're the one who's carrying a baby, I would never pressure you to do that if you're not ready!" He said looking into your eyes sincerely. "Oh, I love you so much!" You said giving him a few repetitive pecks on his lips. "How did I end up with such an amazing man!" Your lips barely meeting his, whispering before you closed the small gap between you, kissing him with all the passion and love you held for this wonderful husband of yours.
Tumblr media
That all changed when one day you were at the hairdresser's getting a new hair cut. You were looking through your phone waiting for your turn until you noticed a woman entering the shop. She had this unusual aura to her, like something about her seemed to interest you, she walked around as if she had accomplished something amazing but wouldn't brag about it as if to let her accomplishment speak for itself. You understood why you felt that because minutes later, two identical accomplishments followed her suit. They were two identical boys who were probably 4 or 5 years of age. You were in awe when you saw them following their mummy, like lost puppies. They resembled her greatly, and behaved very well as if their mum promised to buy them Disneyland if they did. They stood next to her looking up at her as if she is their whole world.
For a moment you imagined that with Jungkook, and what would it feel like to have a baby in both of your lives. How would it feel to have a child of your own looking at you the way these boys looked at their mum.
For weeks to follow, you were almost obsessed with the twin boys you saw at the hair salon. How they dressed, how they behaved, how they sat obediently eating their sweets waiting for their mum to finish, how their mother would look at them through the mirror every once in a while to check on them, how they cutely complimented her saying that "mummy is the prettiest girl ever!" With wide eyes looking up in amazement and cute small sticky fingers from the sweets reaching up in the air in excitement. The whole thing kept repeating over and over in your head which led you to look up some photos of babies and reading more about them and what's new in the parenting world that parents try and apply with their kids. You even reached the point where you would stop at the babies section, racking through cute onesies, making Jungkook arch an eyebrow in amazement. "Are you pregnant or something?" He would ask eyeing your belly before looking up at your face trying to see what's going on inside your head. You would shake your head slightly before reluctantly letting go of the tiny baby clothes and taking Jungkook's hand to move to another department of the store.
Jungkook, too, could feel a change in your behaviour, like how you would gaze longingly at kids playing at the park when you had your picnics there, how you would pause to listen to a show that talks about babies and how to care for them, he even caught you reading a book about pregnancy. His heart skipped a beat when you went to visit your brother after his wife delivered a healthy baby girl; you kept holding her the whole time refusing to let anyone hold her unless it was your brother's wife because she needed to feed her. He even took a photo of you, you were looking at your niece so lovingly when you looked up at Jungkook smiling brightly as if she was your own. He put it as a background for his phone.
Tumblr media
"Yaaah! If you want a baby that bad make one of your own!" Yoongi yelled playfully at Jungkook who wouldn't stop looking at the photo. "Ay! Don't pressure the kid." Namjoon said looking disappointedly at Yoongi for saying that. "Well, there's no pressure. It's just … I don't know y/n has been acting weird lately!" He took a last look at his phone's background before it displayed his worried features as he closed the screen. "What do you mean weird?" Jimin asked looking at Jungkook quizzically. "I don't know… it's… she'd stare at baby clothes when we go shopping even though there's no one we know who's going to give birth soon. I mean I could have brushed it off thinking that she wants to buy some as a gift or something, but no." Jungkook ruffled his black locks resting his elbows on his knees. "And you know she looks at them as if … as if she's imaging them on a certain baby, not the way she'd look at them as if inspecting the design or something, do you understand what I mean?" He looked up at his hyungs waiting for a confirmation that he's not imagining things. Namjoon nodded "you mean she inspecting the clothes as if she's buying it for her own baby, not just going through them?"
"YES!"Taehyung jumped at Jungkook's sudden outburst. "Sorry Hyung!" Jungkook muttered to Taehyung before focusing on Namjoon again. "Well, it's easy she wants a baby!" Hobi said shrugging and looking at Jungkook as if he's dumb and that this was as obvious as the sun. "No shit Sherlock! I know that. It's just she never said anything about it ." Jungkook was bewildered he didn't understand your sudden change of attitude, and if you had a change of heart about having a baby, then why didn't you tell him? "Just talk to her about it. See if she's ready or not, maybe she is, but something is holding her back, you never know!" Jin said patting Jungkook on the back. "we are definitely having a talk." Jungkook sighed lighting up his phone's screen to look lovingly at your photo holding your niece.
"Baby, you home?" Jungkook looked around the house for you while taking off his shoes and closing the door. "In here!" You answered from your bedroom. You heard his footsteps on the stairs knowing very well from the sound of it that he was skipping some. You rolled your eyes at your husband's child-like behaviour. "BABE!" He suddenly opened the door to your room, a huge smirk on his face as he stepped slowly towards you. "What? What's wrong? Why are you giving me that look?" You looked him up and down as if he's gone mental. Out of nowhere, he pounced on you like a cat making you put your book aside as you squirmed beneath him. "Oh my God, Kook get off. What's wrong with you!" You started laughing because he started leaving small pecks on your neck, and it was ticklish. "Tell me!" He suddenly stopped and looked into your eyes. "Tell you what?" You searched his face thinking that he might be drunk. "Tell me what you're not telling me!" He said, face getting closer to yours as you backed yours from his. "Are you drunk?" You said laughing, again. He was being unusual. "Nah, I am not. I just want to know what's wrong. Lately, you've been acting weird as if you're hiding something." He claimed as he sat beside you, taking you in his arms as your upper half laid on his bent knee; this was your position when you both had deep talks, he'd let you rest your back on his bent knee as he held you closely, usually playing with your hair locks. "You keep on checking baby clothes whenever we go shopping, you're reading a book about pregnancy and parenting, you listen to anything related to babies on the T.V. are you not telling me something?" He asked with concern filling his doe eyes as he caressed your cheek. "I … I've..." You sighed closing your eyes; words were not getting out of your mouth. "What? What is it baby? You can tell me." His thumb brushed your cheek in a soft motion encouraging you to speak up. "I … I want a baby." You said out of nowhere and looked at Jungkook to see his reaction. "Well, baby that's great. You know I don't mind, then what stopped you from telling me?" Jungkook flashed you his bunny smile, happy to know that you're ready to take this step with him. "It... It's just, you know I have been reading about it, pregnancy and stuff." He nodded, a sign for you to go on. "And it's all great and everything, but what if something went wrong?" You looked worriedly into your husband's confused eyes. "Like what if I have a miscarriage? What if something happens to the baby? Like what if …"
"Hold on, hold on … baby why are you trying to predict everything? Why can't you focus on the positive side?" He said trying to calm your raging thoughts. "What if my body is not strong enough to have a baby?"
"Baby, nooo!" Jungkook pulled you closer into his arms. "No, none of this is going to happen, we are going to keep checking up with a doctor, and everything will be fine. I'll always be by your side." He said pulling your head under his chin, then he pulled back to look you in the eyes, "and even if something happens, We will go through it together. I know it will be harder for you, but I swear that there's nothing in this life that could be offered to help you lessen your pain that I won't do it." He whispered sincerely, holding your face between his big warm hands. You hugged him tightly, "I love you so much, I don't even know what I did to deserve you!" You said crying over the fact that a man like Jungkook existed, a man who's willing to do anything for you. "Ah, baby I love you, too so much. I don't want you to doubt us or the future. You know why?" He chuckled feeling you shake your head. "Because the future is never guaranteed, but the only thing that is guaranteed is us, and I know that we're strong enough to face anything life throws at us, together." He said hugging you tighter. "Okay, baby?" He pulled back to look at you. You nodded as he wiped away your tears. "Now, about that baby..." He smirked as you laughed at his goofiness. He always knew how to make you laugh. Always.
Tumblr media
Now fast forward a few years, you and Jungkook are parents now. It didn't take that long to get pregnant thanks to Jungkook's stamina. Your pregnancy went on smoothly and nothing bad happened. Just as Jungkook promised, he was always right there for you, for everything; from the moment you both found out, to birth-giving, till now. Speaking of which, the poor thing was so terrified when he knew that your doctor would perform a C-section and that you wouldn't be giving birth naturally.
"Is she supposed to be awake during the surgery?" Jungkook worriedly asked the doctor as he could see that the medication they have given you were not putting you to sleep. "Oh don't worry, Mr Jeon. She won't feel a thing, we drugged the part that we will be working on, and it's normal for her to be awake." Your Doctor smiled kindly at him knowing that this was his first time undergoing something like this. Jungkook was dressed in scrubs holding your hand to keep you from panicking, the doctor also hung up something like a sheet in front of you so you won't see them perform the surgery. "Are you okay?" Jungkook whispered, trying to make small conversation with you as you kept looking at him. You nodded still looking at him as he was getting more anxious by the minute because of your intense staring, "Jungkook why are you panicking, I am the one who's having her stomach open, not you." He laughed squeezing your hand, his nerves easing a bit. "How are you so cool with this?"
"I don't think me panicking right now, would do us any good, you know." Jungkook chuckled then kissed your forehead.
An hour has already passed by when they informed you that you delivered and that the surgery was almost over, they needed to stitch you up. "Jungkook go with the nurse!" You said urgently turning to look at him. "No baby, it's okay, your mum and my mum are waiting outside, I'll wait with you here." He said calming you down, he promised that he won't leave your side until you both get out of the surgery's room together. "But, this means that they'll know!" Jungkook chuckled at your worried expression. "It's okay baby, let them know." He said kissing your forehead. "You did great, and I am so proud of you!" He was tearing up because he could not understand how women could go through all of this, he was truly amazed. "I love you." You said looking into his teary eyes, "I love you, too baby so much!" He pecked your lips before the doctor announced that you were good to go.
It definitely wasn't easy, but with Jungkook there, everything was better.
Tumblr media
Right now, you and Jungkook were asleep in each other's arms, appreciating the few hours of silence before everything turns back to its chaotic state in the morning. Since you've given birth, you could swear that you became a light sleeper. Your mum brushed off your marvellous discovery with a laugh claiming that it's normal for most mums to become light sleepers because you're always worried.
Just like now, your ears perked as you felt tiny footsteps softly padding towards your bedroom. And you were right, as you slowly turned in Jungkook's arms, so not to wake him up, you found your 3-year-old, Haneul, standing quietly by the door, sucking on his thumb and trying to search for you in the dark. "Haneul, baby I am here." You whispered and got up to see what's wrong. He padded softly towards you in his Stitch Kigurumi onesies that he insisted you buy from your last trip to Disneyland because that's his favourite character. "Oh baby what's wrong." You picked him up and held him in your arms cradling him as if to protect him from all the world's evil. You already knew what's wrong, he needed to change his diaper. "Come on baby, let's go to your room, daddy's still asleep." You left the room quietly hoping not to wake Jungkook up.
Haneul whimpered lightly in your arms seeing that he was irritated because of his diaper and he was still super sleepy. "Okay baby I'll change it for you, just please be quiet, your brother is still sleeping!" You prayed than Haneul won't throw a fit and wake up his twin, Hyun, from his sleep. It was too early to wake up the whole household right now.
"There, all done!" You whispered enthusiastically as he flashed a bunny-like grin at you just like his father. "Thanks, mummy." He grinned shaking his body cutely from side to side still laying on the changing table. "Anything for you baby!" You dived your head to his stomach attacking him with kisses as he squirmed beneath you. "Come on let's get you back to bed." You said putting him back in his crib and giving him a goodnight kiss. Before you could shut the door to the boys' room, you saw Haneul still standing in his crib giving you puppy eyes as he whimpered. You heart squeezed in your chest at the sight of your baby in discomfort. He wanted to sleep with you and Jungkook, but you can't let them get used to it. "Mummy!" Haneul whimpered reaching his tiny arms out for you. You sighed, your heart was too weak to leave him alone in the dark, you just couldn't do it. His eyes were starting to tear up as you went up to him. "God, you guys are my weakness." You muttered to yourself. As you were about to pick Haneul up, Hyun started to turn in his sleep, slowly waking up. Another pair of doe eyes slowly opened up, fluttering due to the dark smooth locks that were getting in its way. "Mummy!" You sighed great now both of them are awake and they will refuse to go back to sleep in their cribs.
Jungkook woke up to an empty bed, he jolted awake thinking you must be with the kids and that you might need his help, but didn't wake him up. He walked to the kids' bedroom to see you holding Haneul in your arms with him sucking on his thumb, drowsy eyes fighting sleep as you looked at Hyun who was carefully climbing out of his bed. "Careful baby!" You seemed to be fine, but your voice told otherwise, it was laced with worry, fearing that his leg might slip and he would get hurt. Hyun climbed down carefully then went up to you tugging on your nightdress and whimpering grumpily. Jungkook entered the room, "come here, buddy." He said scooping Hyun in his arms. "Baby, you woke up!" You frowned not liking the idea of him getting up so early. Since giving birth to your beautiful baby boys, Jungkook has put you and the boys as his top priority, and he was always there making sure you don't need anything. You didn't want him to wake up so early for once so that he could enjoy his sleep before going to the studio. "I didn't find you in my arms, so I got up to look for you." He said gazing at you lovingly. You kissed him on the cheek, he smiled and told you to go to bed with Haneul "I'll change Hyun's diaper and come right behind you." He said planting a kiss on your forehead. "Okay, baby." You said pulling Haneul closer to your chest.
Tumblr media
A few minutes later, Jungkook and Hyun joined you and Haneul in bed. Haneul was fast asleep with his head resting on your chest, and Hyun was still awake looking up at Jungkook. "Come on buddy, go to sleep," Jungkook whispered running his fingers through Hyun's black locks that he inherited from his dad. "Appa!" Jungkook hummed softly in response. "Sing to me." Hyun traced his small fingers over Jungkook's cheek. Jungkook smiled closing his eyes for a few seconds enjoying the feeling as he started singing softly and quietly so that Hyun would go back to sleep.
You smiled, recalling all the things you've been through up until this moment. You remembered how you both were shocked when you found out you were having twins. That day was the best day of your life, you cried in happiness so much that Jungkook thought it was your hormones getting the best of you. "No... I'm just … I'm so happy." You said whipping your tears. That night you sat on the bed with Jungkook holding you in the same position that he would hold you when you're both having a deep conversation. You told him about the twins you saw that day, and how you were so fascinated by them and how they interacted with their mum. Jungkook smiled softly at you as he rubbed your belly. You both decided that you wouldn't tell anyone that you were having twins, and that it would be a surprise to your family and friends. The shock on their faces when they entered the room to congratulate you to find each of you holding a baby was priceless.
"Oh my God, are...are... You gave birth to twins!" Your grandma said in tears astonished by the surprise. "Oh, my dear bless you." She cried as you nodded with a big smile on your face. Your mum and Jungkook's mum were the ones who were in great shock because they were the ones who were waiting in the waiting room to suddenly find two nurses coming out with two babies. "How could you not tell us something like that?" Your mum asked whipping her tears as she looked at Haneul who was sleeping soundly in Jungkook's arms. "We wanted to surprise you." Jungkook replied as your dad smiled with tears in his eyes as he kept looking between you and Jungkook. "Congratulations sweetheart!" He planted a kiss on your forehead, proud of you. "Thanks, dad."
To say that the boys were shocked is an understatement. Poor Hobi kept looking left and right at each baby. "What the … twins?" Jimin burst in excitement as Yoongi grinned down at Haneul and Namjoon patting Jungkook's back smiling at Haneul, too. "They're so cute!" Jimin said excitedly as you handed him Hyun. "Careful, hyung!" Jungkook said worriedly, eyes watching Jimin like a hawk. "Look at our Jungkookie being a protective father," Jin said laughing with Taehyung bursting in laughter.
The boys kept pampering your kids to no end. Jin and Jungkook would even make sure that you and Lilly, Jin's wife, have play dates for the kids, seeing that Jin and Jungkook are the only fathers in the group. Life was treating you good with everyone surrounding you with love and care.
"What are you thinking?" Jungkook whispered. You looked at Hyun to find him fast asleep. "Nothing I was just remembering the day the boys blessed us with their existence." You smiled patting Hyun's back as you lifted the blanket to his shoulder. Jungkook's eyes gleamed at you as he smiled, probably remembering that day, too. Having kids is a huge deal to any couple but with Jungkook being there as he promised, you felt that everything is alright, and you didn't have anything to worry about. You and Jungkook fell into a deep sleep holding each other's hands as both Haneul and Hyun slept soundly between the two of you.

🥲 oof… that hurt. aside from yn rejecting him, i thought their interactions was cute nd funny! especially when that mf said he had a lil bit of mommy issues 😭 nd that he’s down for breastfeeding 💀 nd not yn turning down an offer from USHER!? girl is you crazy!? nd the lil hints nd sneak peeks abt yn’s life 🥺 i just wanna give her a hug, it sounds like he’s been thru a lot. nd hobi!!! my only nitpick 😤 was him asking too many questions when it came to dating, you were making my girl uncomfy! if she didn’t wanna answer, she didn’t have to. nd he should’ve accepted her vague answers instead of just asking why or for her to elaborate. he’s been keeping his eyes on her this whole time, could he not read her body language at that moment or sense how her vibe suddenly changed? 🥲 nd then when he tried asking for her number nd if he could see her outside of the club… my guy, she just got in trouble for being being over her time, you’re asking the wrong things rn 🫠 nd lowkey kinda interfering with her money (even tho hes secretly her sugar daddy but still) but aside from that, i really loved this! 🤧 literally had to reread it a couple of times bc i loved they way their convo flowed nd how we got to see different sides to them. like yn being the shy one nd hobi being confident. i love these two nd im rooting for them 🥺 but yn is all abt her bag nd sorry hobi, im on her side for the moment. money over men, that’s just how it be 🥴
you can see that he's getting a bit more comfortable around her ! nd that's making their conversations flow so much better - bc LOL yn was not going to be the one to initiate anything 💀 nd he's funny ! like he's actually managing to make her laugh nd their little interactions are so cute :((( he just had to go nd push it a little bit too far . nd LMAO she must've rejected ushers offer bc he wasn't paying as much as she makes at he club (bc that girl makes BANK 🤑) . it's actually pretty amazing that hobi was able to get her to open up a bit abt herself bc usually she jus listens while her clients talk - figuring they don't care to know abt her life nd tbh ., she doesn't care to tell them either . so the fact that she was sharing her own stories really sets him apart from all the other guys she's met . buuut ! he did end up sending himself right back to the beginning with those dating questions . like of all the attention he gives her ., you'd think he'd be able to pick up on her not really being cool with answering those type of questions . nd honestly - it has everything to do w the fact that she does what she does for work . like she's comfortable taking her clothes off nd (kinda) selling herself ., so he didn't even think a few dating questions (which were pretty tame) would be what she'd call a red flag . hopefully ! he'll be able to make a smooth recovery ., bc they are cute together :((( nd it's nice to see yn let her guard down even if it's just a little bit nd for now long at all 🥴

Ch. 1 Ch. 2 Ch. 3
Tumblr media
A smile spread across her face as she listened to her little beam of sunshine’s effusive explanation of her adventures with her imaginary hybrid friend Tata, the girl’s imagination never ceased to amaze her mother. It was definitely a trait that she got from her Father, she thought with a certain melancholy in her eyes.
‘’ And then, last time, Toby was being really mean, he said that I was weird and pulled my hair, but Tata growled at him a little bit and he ran away. Isn't he the best Mama?" - Her little eyes twinkled with adoration, Autumn's first instinct was to coo at her cuteness but something of what she said sent alarms to her mind.- "Haneul, honey, are kids being rude to you at school?" - Having her daughter being bullied at school because of her heritage was one of her biggest fears-
" Mmm… sometimes, but after Tata saved me, they haven't! - She smiled the brightest smile, and Autumn felt a knot clog her throat and dread wash over her stomach. She forced a smile at the best of her ability while nodding and made a mental note to talk with the teachers at the end of the day. She would transfer her daughter to another kindergarten if needed.- ‘’ Ok, honey bear, we are here. Remember that I’m picking you up earlier today for your dentist’s appointment. - Haneul immediately sulked at the prospect, murmuring indecipherable complaints under her breath, but she still kissed her mom’s cheek before running off when she caught the sight of her favorite teacher.-
Autumn waved at the teacher, answering to her smile with one of her own as the teacher was dragged away by an enthusiastic Haneul. Just for the time being she decided to put her worries aside and tend to some of the urgent matters at hand. Jimin and Jin were driving her insane by the minute, her phone buzzing every 2 minutes as if they were taking turns to annoy her.
‘’ You know perfectly fine that I need to drop Haneul at school every day, Jimin!’’ - Was her response as she heard the whiney complaints from the other side of the line, she assured that she would be there in a few minutes with a roll of her eyes before she hanged up.
She loved her friends with her whole heart, they were the ones that pulled her through when Haneul’s dad decided to abandon her while she was pregnant with their daughter, If it wasn't for them and Haneul herself, she wouldn’t be where she is at… But they were, a lot of the time, pains in the butt.
The store was a battlefield once she got there, flowers and decorations scattered everywhere, and a very stressed out Jungkook running around under the direction of an even more stressed out Jimin. They looked at her as if she was some kind of savior before throwing themselves to her arms once they realized she had arrived. She could just roll her eyes at their antics before getting down to work.
‘’ Ok, I’m out!’’ - She announced, after they finally handed out the last piece of arrangements for the wedding, the event was a really big project and she was relieved that everything turned out ok, the customer was more than ecstatic with the results, and there were really few things that gave Autumn more satisfaction than a happy customer.-
‘’ But Noona…’’ - Came Jimin’s protest as an instant response. But it died out quickly when she turned around sharply and Jin put his hand over his mouth to quiet him down. She could be a little scary when tired. Jin thought the younger boy should know better, having been her friend for so long. - ‘’ Go ahead, and bring Haneul over to my place afterwards, we miss our little bundle of joy, I’ll cook dinner for all of us! Maybe I could convince Yoongi to come and bring Hobi with him’’ - Jin requested and the other two agreed with eager nods, Autumn smiled lovingly, she truly had the best of friends. She assured that she would be back quickly as she made her way out of the flower store that Jin and her had opened together. The last thing she heard, a chorus of ‘’By noona’s’’ and ‘’I love you’s’’ ringing one over the other, that made her smile grow even bigger. She truly loved the punks.
‘’ I’m here to pick Haneul up for her dentists appointment’’ - The teacher nodded knowingly, with a small smile, apparently HaNeul had been complaining to all that would lend an ear about the terrifying encounter with a robot monster that she would have to go through that day. Autumn could just chuckle at her daughter's dramatics. - ‘’ Also, is Mrs. Lee, around today? I need to talk with her about some worries of mine’’ - The teacher sent her a worried look as she sensed the discomfort in Autumn’s tone but after she assured her that it wasn’t something too serious, she explained that the principal wasn’t available at the moment. Autumn would have to call her. She had known Mrs. Lee for a long time anyways.-
Following the direction of the young teacher that had to leave her on her own to attend one of the kids with a little potty emergency, Autumn made her way to the playground where all the kids were taking lunch break. After a few minutes, she spotted the light haired girl sitting over one of the farest corners close to the fence. Her heart dropped as she started to come closer and noticed who her little girl was talking so excitedly to, she couldn't believe her eyes, the school was not just reckless about bullying but they also let the kids unsupervised where they could be approached by strangers?
The stranger was munching on a half sandwich, the other half on Haneul’s hand remained untouched as she bounced on her place, there was a soft smile on the man’s face as he seemed to intently listen to her daughter. As Autumn came closer, her steps slowed down as she realized that HaNeul was actually talking with a hybrid, the male seemed to be younger than her, probably around Jimin’s age, but he was so skinny and dirty that he could easily pass for someone younger. Her heart hurt for him.
She noticed some movement that made her nervous but before her quickening steps took her close enough, a scene that horrified her took place before her eyes.
A group of kids came running with piles of mud gathered on their hands, one of them quickly throwing some in Haneul’s direction. A scream died on Autumn’s throat, unable to really comprehend what had happened before the kids ran away from the scene. The man that her daughter had been feeding for weeks now, the same one that she thought was just an imaginary friend, had jumped over the fence standing in between the projectile of mud and her daughter’s little body, staring down the mean boys until they had left the scene running.
‘’ MAMMA!’’ - Before having much time to react, Autumn felt the little body crash against her leg. HaNeul’s flushed little face was stained with drying tears as she explained how the mean boys had attacked her friend and asked her to help him out. Autumn took her in her arms, hugging her and whispering comforting words to calm her down. She started walking towards the Hybrid who was awkwardly standing in the same spot, mud dripping down his right leg, she noticed now that he was standing, how much taller than her he was. Once Haneul noticed her mom wasn't moving any more, she turned her head to face her friend and dedicated a watery smile towards him that he struggled to reciprocate. Autumn could sense the fear emanating from him.
‘’ Look, Tata! It’s my momma, isn’t she super pretty?!’’ - Haneul’s eyes sparkled with innocence, the hybrid timidly nodded in response and Autumn noticed a cute blush spreading across his cheeks. -
‘’ Hey there…’’ - Autumn started but was quickly interrupted by the terrified hybrid’s frenetic attempt to explain himself.- ‘’ I’m really sorry, I tried to refuse but she was so kind and her sandwich smelled really good. I… Please don’t report me, I’ll take any kind of punishment, but please don’t call Hybrid control.’’ - His deep voice ended up as a whimpery whisper as he begged her. Autumn felt her stomach drop and her mouth dried out, she felt like crying for the pitiful state of the boy in front of her. -
‘’ Sorry, but I have no intention to report or punish you whatsoever. I actually wanted to thank you for protecting Haneul, It makes me happy that she has a friend like you.’’ - His fluffy ears twitched in her direction as soon as she started talking but as she called him her daughter’s friend, his eyes jumped to her face, trying to look for any sign of hostility, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips as he took in the soft smile that she was dedicating him. - ‘’ I’m Autumn, an it’s a pleasure to finally meet you Tata!’’ - She extended her arm, patiently waiting for him to shake her hand. He hesitated for a few minutes before timidly taking her hand in his for a second of two. - ‘’ My name is actually Taehyung’’ - He softly corrected, the blush coming back to his sunken cheeks, making Autumn smile even brighter -
‘’ Well, Taehyung, if you don’t have anything else to do today, I would love to invite you for lunch to thank you for helping Haneul, you could come and wash out all the mud from the attack too if you would like.’’ - She suggested but he was nodding before she could even finish the idea. -
‘’ ¡Oh, my gosh! Mrs. Kim, I am so sorry, I don’t really know how he got here, the kids told me about what happened, I’m calling Hybrids control right now.’’ - The panicked voice of Haneul’s teacher caught their attention, Taehyung immediately flinching back with a loud whimper at the mention of hybrid control, pleading no’s flowing out of his mouth incessantly as he started backing away slowly. Haneul started crying out to him,but before things escalated too much, Autumn, lowered the teacher’s hand that was holding the phone. -
‘’It won’t be necessary, Miss Kang. Taehyung here is a friend of ours’’ - Autumn assured, making both the teacher and the Hybrid freeze on spot. She then gestured for Taehyung to come closer, Haneul reaching for his hand as soon as he was close enough. - ‘’ If you could just let Mrs. Lee know that I will be calling her, that would be awesome! - She requested before leaving the scene with the boy that already felt like the new addition to her family.

BTS Reaction To: Drunk Mafia BTS
Summary: your mafia boyfriend gets drunk and shows a different side to them.
Warnings: hurt/comfort, angst, crack, alcohol consumption, mean!Namjoon, crying!Jungkook, mentions of sexual undertones, cute but annoying drunk Hoseok, mafia!au (but not really mentioned mafia), emotional Yoongi who needs readers love and reassurance, cute Jimin.
W.C.: 2.4k
Request: hi!! can you do a drunk bts mafia reaction?
Notes: Like I’ve said before, I love Mafia requests.
Tumblr media
Jin:
You knew that you should not have left Jin alone with his brothers for thirty minutes.
You knew that leaving his side so you can go and talk to Jisoo about girl stuff, leaving Jin unattended with his brothers, especially the maknae when there is alcohol involved was a no-go. But you did it anyways, so now you are here – dealing with a flirty Jin who has one too many drinks in his system.
“You’re so pretty,” Seokjin cooed, body weight leaning into yours as you walked him to the car. “But!” He announced loudly, shocking you. “I haves a girlfriend, ACTUALLY! A fiancée. So, my compliments need to stop. I-It’s just that you look so much like her, that it is uncanny.” He rambled. “You even have the same, comfy, soft boobs! Are you her doppelganger?” Seokjin asked with a curious voice – a voice that does not suit his mafia boss persona.
Laughing at his question, “No, Jinnie, I’m Y/N. The actual her.” Mouth dropping wide in astonishment, “No way! Baby!” He yelled, flying into you, sending the both of you to the ground. But even in his drunken state, his reflexes still worked, and he turned you guys around to where he took the beating of the ground while you fell onto his chest. “Ooo, I like this position,” he said cheekily, smiling up at you.
“Of course, you do, you drunk.” You chuckled, “Now, get up. We need to get your drunk ass home.”
Yoongi:
The sound of breaking glass was what caught your attention from the book you were reading. Closing the book, you put it aside to see if the sound would repeat again, which it did. The breaking glass was coming from above you, which is where your boyfriend’s office was. Standing up, you quietly, but quickly, made your way up the stairs, slowly hearing the curses and angry words coming from your boyfriends’ mouth. Once you got to the office door, you quietly knocked on the door, silencing all of the commotion on the other side of the door.
The door opened, showing the distressed man in front of you. Trying to hide his tears, he turned around and made his way over to his desk, silently telling you that you can come in.
“Yoongi, what’s wrong?” You asked softly, walking up behind him, putting a few feet between you guys.
“Nothing. Why do you ask?” He replied, being short with you.
Spotting the bottle of whisky on his desk, you connected the dots that he is stressed since whisky is his escape drink.
“Well,” you started off, “There’s broken glass on the floor from you throwing it, whisky on the desk, and you’re obviously crying. So, something is wrong.”
“Wow, why would you ask me since you apparently know what’s going on.” He snapped, turning around to look at you, eyes blank.
Taking a few steps back, you coiled in on yourself by his harshness. Realizing that he wants you to leave him alone, you respected his wishes. “I’ll leave you alone then. I just wanted to check up on you.” You bowed, turning around and leaving.
Before you could walk out the door, you felt a soft grip on your arm, pulling you back.
“Please don’t leave.” Yoongi asked, voice raspy. “I don’t want to be alone right now.”
Not saying anything, you pulled your boyfriend into a hug. Your actions caused your boyfriend to breakdown, shocking you at the sight. The most dangerous man in the underworld, the one who scares the law itself, was falling apart in your arms for a reason you do not know.
Hoseok:
“And a BOOP!”
Trying to stay calm, you watched the finger – for the twentieth time – come in contact with your nose. Your eyebrow twitched from irritation. Surprisingly you were keeping your composure really well. You were not blowing up on your boyfriend yet.
But the thing that you do not get is how the man who can kill a person with a smile on his face, not even flinching, can act so childish and love messing with your nose whenever he is drunk.
It is like trying to figure out how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll.
“Your nose is so cute!” Hoseok squealed, face moving close to you, breaking your personal bubble boundary, “It has a little arch to it!” He added, a squeal evident in his tone.
That was a new one, you concluded.
“Can I run my finger over your nose?” He asked, voice innocent.
Releasing a sigh, a sigh that seemed to be very offensive that Hoseok took to heart. “Are you mad at me?” He sniffled, looking away to hide his face.
“No, Hobi.” You reassured softly, “I’m just getting a little irritated, but I am not mad at you, I promise.”
Sniffles growing louder, you realized that you messed up.
“I’M ANNOYING YOU?!”
Fuck.
Before you could say anything else, your body was met with the couch while your boyfriends body was thrown on top of yours. ‘I’m sorries’ were spewing out of his mouth rapidly, body shaking from the sobs racking over his body.
“Yes! You can run your finger over my nose.” You said, hoping it will calm him down.
As if a light switch was turned off, your boyfriend immediately stopped crying, a huge smile gracing his face. “Yay! Thank you!” His finger running over your nose, face morphed into a concentrated look.
Namjoon:
When you walked into your home, your sense of smell was met with alcohol – mainly whiskey and cigars.
“Oh no,” you whispered to yourself, preparing yourself for what was possibly going to happen.
Namjoon is drunk by now, and this only happens when he is overly stressed, or in need of an outlet for his anger. So, a drunk Namjoon equals an angry drunk Namjoon. You have only seen this side of him just once, and it was not pretty.
You did not speak to Namjoon for a week because of it.
He promised you he would not seek comfort from alcohol ever again – but he broke his promise.
Walking into the living room, you found your boyfriend sitting in the single sofa chair, the top three buttons of his dress shirt undone, showing the caramel skin of his chest. But his beautiful sight was ruined when you saw the whiskey bottle sitting on the side table with the cigar on the ash tray, and a glass of whiskey in his ring clad hand.
“I am surprised you have not started yelling yet,” Namjoon mocked, interrupting your train of thought. “Last time I drank, you freaked out on me.”
Taken aback by his words, “I didn’t freak out on you? Plus, I am not going to now. I am curious on why you are drinking, whiskey especially.”
“Oh, so am I not allowed to drink certain alcoholic drinks?” He asked, sarcasm and mockery laced in his words. “Wow, you’re more controlling than I thought.”
You could feel your heart break at his words, eyes stinging from the tears that are wanting to spill. “Wow. Um, okay.” You said, not knowing what words to use. You were beating yourself up mentally from how weak you are and your inability to stand up for yourself. So, choosing the cowardly way out, you turned around and made your way to the guess room that was in your house, locking the door and hiding yourself in there.
Jimin:
Sitting at the booth in the bar, you listened to your best friend Yoonji vent about her and Namjoon’s relationship.
Tonight, was club night with the boys.
Having a boyfriend who is a mafia boss that owns his own private club was awesome, especially during parties. Not having to pay and wait in line was awesome, drinks and food was free, and the best of all – sitting in the VIP section away from the drunk people.
“I just wish that he would make more time for me,” Yoonji stressed, eyes tearing up. “I feel so alone sometimes…” She trailed off, taking a gulp from his glass.
A frown was on your face, watching your friend cry was one of the worst things ever. Before you could add your opinion in, you felt a body that was all too familiar fall on top of you. A pair of lips attached theirs to yours, shocking you from the abruptness.
“My Love!” Your boyfriend announced, a drunken grin of his face, cheeks tinted red from the alcohol he has been drinking. “I have missed you so MUCH!” He stated, lips now turned downwards.
“I’ve missed you too, Jiminie.” You replied back, honesty laced in your words. “But, I’m talking with Yoonji here,” you motioned towards your friend, your boyfriends head whipping around quickly to look at her.
“Ooops! I’m sorry Yoonji!” He apologized truthfully, head turning back towards you. “Is it okay if I lay my head on your lap while you talk with Yoonji? My head hurts, and I PROMISE! I won’t speak of anything that you guys say to Namjoon!” He promised, sticking his pinky in the air towards you.
“Wait, what?” Yoonji asked in shock. “How do you know we are talking about Namjoon?”
“Cause silly! You just admitted to it,” Jimin giggled, already making himself comfortable on your lap. “Plus, the both of you came in upset, so it’s kinda obvious that you two are arguing.”
And that was the last thing your boyfriend said before he was lulled into a deep sleep.
Looking up at Yoonji, you gave her an apologetic smile. “Jimin’s extra blunt when he’s drunk?”
Taehyung:
As you conversed with your boyfriend’s gang members girlfriends, you could feel the heavy stare on your back from your boyfriend. You knew that you looked hot – thanks to the constant compliments and love that your boyfriend gives you everyday has helped with your self love. Wearing a sexy, but appropriate dress to the ball that was thrown by an ally mafia gang was a good idea because it was messing with your boyfriend. You knew the little things that riled up your boyfriend of three years – and this dress was one of them; especially when he had alcohol in his system.
“Um, Y/N?” Madison, Jungkook’s girlfriend of seven months spoke, catching your attention.
“Hm?”
“Taehyung is I think glaring at you,” She said nervously.
Smiling at her innocence, “Oh, is he?” You asked, turning around to look at your boyfriend who just finished downing his glass of wine. When the two of you made eye contact you gave him a gentle smile and he winked at you. You could see that he has had a lot to drink due to the flush of his cheek and aura that he was giving off.
“He literally has been undressing you with his eyes all night.” Suri commented, bringing a blush to your cheeks from her bluntness.
“And you are right,” Taehyung admitted, surprising you from his sudden appearance. His strong arms wrapped around you, pulling you into his chest, head ducking down to nuzzle into your neck. His breath smelt like alcohol and cigarettes as he pressed kisses to you neck. “You’ve looked so beautiful all night that I got turned on.”
“You’ve smoked a cigarette?!” You yelled, shocking the girls and Taehyung.
“What? No, baby—”
“Do not ‘baby’ me,” your voice came out deadly. “You told me you quit!” You accused, glaring at your boyfriend who looked scare, something that you will later laugh at since he is the biggest mafia boss in the world.
“I did. I just had two with Jackson and Namjoon!”
Not wanting to make a bigger scene, you walked away with a nervous and apologetic Taehyung.
“He’s totally not getting anything tonight,” Suri chuckled into his cup of wine.
“$20 he is,” Jisoo, Jimin’s friend had bet.
“You’re so on.”
Jungkook:
“Ugh, another fucking voicemail,” Jungkook grumbled drunkenly. “Y/N, this is my hundredth voicemail, when will you answer? Please answer. I’m sorry that I snapped and scared you. I know that I acted out irrationally during the argument. You’re right, I am childish and short tempered, but that doesn’t give me the excuse to say what I said and act how I acted. Wait? Did I say that right? hopefully because I want to make this right with you. I love you, Y/N, and I know that I have a suckish way of showing it, but I do. You’re the light in the darkness that I live in. never would I have thought of meeting you, meeting love in this Mafia world. I just want, need, you back, baby. Please come back to me,” Jungkook stopped, the sobs taking over him. The scary realization of losing you might be coming true. “Please give me one more chance to make this right.”
And with that, he hung up.
On the other side of the city, you listened to the voicemail that Jungkook had sent to you, tears streaming down your face and blurring your vision, your mind already being made up. Putting on a bra and shoes, you grabbed your purse and made your way to Jungkook’s mansion. When you pulled up, you were met with Phil and Leo at the gate. The two guards gave you smile, relief filling their eyes.
Walking into the mansion, you were met with a disastrous living room that had glass and frames on the carpet. A sigh escaped your lips as you realized that you had of fixing up to do.
“I am this drunk that I am imagining you standing right in front of me?” Jungkook asked, scaring your soul out of your body it felt like.
“It’s actually me, Kook.” You giggled, eyes tearing up at the relieved look in Jungkook’s eyes.
One minute his was on the stairs and the next he was squeezing you into his chest.
“You’re back,” he croaked. “Thank God, you’re back to me.”

BTS Reaction: He Finds Out Another Member Used To Be Your Bias
Jin:
His smile grew when he found your old notepad in your bedroom at home, it was one of the old BTS books from their debut, yet as he turned the first page, he saw Hobi’s name written in the middle, with a heart around it.
“So, you used to like Hobi then?”
Your eyes widened when you saw what he found, snatching it from him, “I wouldn’t say I liked him, but he was my favourite at the start, I loved watching him dance on the stage.”
“I was the best dancer,” he argued, watching as your eyes rolled at him, “am I your favourite now, or do you still wish I were Hobi?”
You smirked across at him, “you know that you’re my favourite, Hobi was just a phase, I wanted to be a dancer just like he was, but now I want to be just like you.”
“You want to dance like me?” He teased, wrapping his arms around you, “can we please take this notebook to the studio next time we go.”
“Absolutely no way, the boys cannot find out about this,” you warned, snatching it from him, “they won’t ever let me forget about it.”
“I won’t let you forget.”
Tumblr media
Yoongi:
He frowned as he read through some of your old tweets that the fans had found and sent him, they were from a good couple of years ago, bringing a smile to his face, turning to face you with a big grin on his face.
“Did you always thank Kookie was fit?”
You looked across at him in confusion, taking the phone that he handed across to you, reading through the tweets. “How did you manage to find them? They’re so old.”
“Fans sent then,” he chuckled, “I always knew you and Jungkook got on, but now I know why you look him so much, clearly it’s his good looks and sweet smile.
Your eyes rolled, cringing as he spoke, “please don’t read them out, you know that they were never intended for now, I never thought I’d date one of you guys.”
“It must hurt that I’m not Jungkook,” he continued to tease, watching your head shake as you tried to comfort him. “Stuck with Yoongi instead.”
“You know that’s not true, I’m with you because you’re much fitter than Jungkook, and your gummy smile is always my favourite smile.”
“If you say so jagi.”
Tumblr media
Hoseok:
As soon as you showed him the old box of BTS merch you had from concerts, his eyes landed on the old plush you owned from the BT21 collection, Hobi picked it up, throwing it in the air to capture your attention.
“Let me guess who was your favourite?”
Your head shook, “all the Mang toys had sold out so I had to buy a Chimmy instead, if a Mang was there to buy, I would have got it straight away, because you’re my favourite.”
“So, it’s not that you used to prefer Jimin?” He joked, throwing the toy across the room, “if you wanted a Mang, you should have just asked me.”
You crawled across the room to grab the toy, “I think it would be a bit weird if I asked you now for one of your toys when I’m dating you, don’t you think?”
“It would stop you having a Chimmy,” he groaned as you took a hold of the toy, bringing it back, “I’m definitely getting you a bigger Mang plush to get rid of this thing.”
“If it would make you feel better, bring me a Mang,” you assured him, pressing a kiss to his cheek, “I promise it will be my favourite.”
“It better be your favourite.”
Tumblr media
Namjoon:
He couldn’t believe what he saw when you based him the photo, it was from a fansigning many years ago of you and Taehyung, it was clear you’d been crying with excitement, whilst he smiled anxiously by your side.
“This might be my favourite photo ever.”
Your eyes rolled, “I used to love Taehyung, I didn’t want to talk to any of you aside from Taehyung, I’m pretty sure I even asked the staff if I could skip all of you and just see Tae.”
“I’ve never felt so under appreciated in my life,” Joon laughed, recreating your expression in the photo, “do you think Taehyung remembers this?”
Your head shook rapidly, “I hope he doesn’t, and there is no way you’re showing him either. That photo is from a long time ago, things are very different now.”
“They better be, if you still liked Taehyung better than me, there’s no way I’d still be here,” he joked, feeling your arms wrap around him tightly.
“You’re my favourite member of BTS now, by far, nothing will change that,” you assured him, “you’re much better than Taehyung.”
“Damn right I’m better.”
Tumblr media
Jimin:
When Jimin appeared at your door, your heart stopped, you let him in, knowing exactly what was in your living room. He stopped when he saw a poster of Jin laid out across the floor, turning to you to try and explain.
“What’s this all about?”
You sighed, “I was going through some of my old merchandise, and came across this, I couldn’t remember who was on it, so I unravelled it and then remembered buying it at my first concert.”
“Back when Jin was your bias,” he teased, snaking his arms around your waist, “don’t worry, I don’t mind, I hope you were throwing it out though.”
You nodded, turning back to face him, “I thought Jin might like it, he likes things like this with his face on to admire, might cheer him up a bit too.
“Don’t tell him that it’s yours though, he won’t ever let me forget it if he finds out you used to be his bias,” he requested, pressing several kisses to your cheek.
“It’s a secret, I’ll tell him a fan gave it to me to pass on,” you assured him, watching as the smile on his face grew.
“You’re the best, thank you.”
Tumblr media
Taehyung:
You told him to open up your laptop to find something to watch, he did as he was told, only as he opened up your laptop, he found an old folder you had, titled Yoongi. He was intrigued but didn’t want to go behind your back.
“What’s in your Yoongi album on here?”
It was something you’d completely forgotten about, turning around to face him, “don’t open it, it’s no big deal, just pretend you’ve not just seen it.”
“It can’t be that big of a deal, I’ll just have a look,” he smiled, knowing exactly what was going to be in the folder, and all about Yoongi being a former bias of yours.
You shook your head, “don’t you dare Kim Taehyung, you think you’re being funny, but it’s not, you know that you’re just winding me up right now.”
“Alright, I’m sorry, I won’t open it,” he spoke, opening up Netflix instead, “don’t worry, I know I’m your bias now, and that’s what matters to me.”
“You are my favourite, Yoongi is my second favourite,” you told him, “now can you just pick something for us to watch?”
“I’m already on it.”
Tumblr media
Jungkook:
Introducing Jungkook to your family was terrifying, they were all staring across at him, from the moment he walked in they were trying to figure things out, you knew something was wrong, you just didn’t know what it was.
“Is everything alright with you both?”
Your mum smiled, “when you told us your boyfriend was in BTS, we were expecting to see that Namjoon guy here, we didn’t realise that you’d moved on from him to Jungkook.”
“Mum!” You shrieked in horror, turning to face Jungkook, “I told you ages ago I was with Jungkook, Namjoon was just a phase when I was only a fan.”
She nodded her head, “sorry darling, I don’t know much about all these bands anymore, the name Namjoon just stuck with your father and I.”
“I knew something was wrong, you actually thought I was going to bring Namjoon home?” You asked, as they both nodded, making you feel terrible.
Jungkook took a hold of your hand, “don’t feel awkward, it’s funny really that your parents thought I would be Namjoon.”
“I am so sorry Kook.”

Kindergarten was such a hassle for young Yoongi. Coloring within the lines and connecting the dots were too exhausting and all he wanted was for nap time to come. He should be at home sleeping with his blanket in hand. Hatred for school aside, Yoongi wasn’t very social. He was a shy boy who would rather listen to some tunes even if he didn’t understand the lyrics that well.
Well, he couldn’t exactly hate school.
There was this girl who always approached him, someone he could say was his friend. During recess, when the noisy kids stumble their way towards the outside, he could be seen sluggishly lagging behind as he talks (well, listens) to this girl in messy pigtails and pink overalls share her entire life story.
Y/N Y/L/N.
You were a very cheerful kid who, despite the very young age, could easily detect and adapt to people’s attitudes. Unlike the ever-bratty Sohee who cried because Yoongi wasn’t giving her the compliments she wanted about her new Sailor Moon bag from mommy or the annoying Taka who demanded he play heroes with Yoongi, you knew your limits.
Whatever that meant to two toddlers.
Yoongi liked you the most. You were a fun person to be with. You would let him nap when he wanted to and you always gave him the dog stickers from the prizes you get for being a good kid. You would give him some of your snacks (except for the juice boxes, he knew you loved those so much) and would wait for him when recess starts.
So one day, little Yoongi asked his parents what it meant to like a friend so much and what he should do about it (well of course, he messily relayed his story because he would get off track and tell them about the dog he saw). His dad wanted to poke fun and tell him something he didn’t understand anyway.
“What’s marriage?”
“Well, Yoongi, it’s when you like your friend so much that you want to be friends with them for life!” His dad replied, earning a smack on the head from his mother because that was wrong on many levels.
“I’m gonna marriage n/n!!” Little Yoongi cheered, or rather grinned but that was already the most he could express before going back to watching his favorite show.
The next day, without his mother knowing, Yoongi’s father told him to give you flowers if he wanted to “marriage” you. Yoongi giggled as he pocketed the little rose that his dad handed over before skipping to school.
He liked being friends with you so much that he wanted to “marriage” you. But he wasn’t expecting the news he’d received that day.
You had to move to Seoul with your father after your parents separated, leaving little Yoongi in Daegu with a crumpled little rose.
Tumblr media
The next time he saw you was in high school. Obviously, you weren’t the messy pigtails and pink overalls n/n anymore but that was the latest memory of you that Yoongi could remember. To see you, nimbly looking at your fingers as the teacher introduced you to the class as the transferee -- it overwhelmed him. A good kind of overwhelming he supposed.
But with Yoongi being Yoongi, he didn’t want to approach you first. For all he knew, you could’ve forgotten the little Yoongi who usually wore blue shirts and loved dogs. He wanted to approach you, he really does, but with his reputation as one of the quiet basketball players of Daegu High and the possibility of you being questioned by his so-called fans, he couldn’t.
To his surprise, you approached him the same way you did when you were little. With a “Is that you Yoon?” from you and a rare gummy smile from him, the two best friends were once again joined by the hip.
“I can’t believe Min ‘I hate moving’ Yoongi is a basketball player,” You snorted, staying close to your only friend in your high school as he goes to the gym.
“Well I can’t believe Y/L/N ‘I’m never taking my pigtails off’ Y/N isn’t wearing pigtails anymore,” Yoongi replied, chuckling a bit at your embarrassment.
“Sh-Shut up!”
Your friendship was easily built again, it was stronger even. You didn’t mind the occasional “You’re my love rival but Yoongi will be mine” declarations that you got once a week (surprisingly, more than half of the female population loved the quiet, basket-ball loving types. )
They should see Yoongi in a pet store, you snickered.
“Hey! Why are you laughing at me?! You think you’re better than me!?”
Ah right… You forgot… Sohee, you remembered her as the girl who seemed to like Yoongi in kindergarten, was also issuing a “love war” with you for your best friend’s heart.
“Not really, darling. I just think you’re stupid… But you didn’t hear that from me,” You cackled just as Yoongi arrived to get your ass out of there.
That morning aside, the school had finally opened their festival. Your class prepared a cafe-like service where everyone cosplayed (you had no say in it) and you were sadly and unwillingly put in a maid costume. Perhaps it was karma for calling Sohee stupid. Yoongi got lucky and was just put in a simple prince costume.
“I don’t think this is fair,” You sighed, tugging at your skirt so it could cover more skin. Yoongi grunted, somehow also unhappy that he had to dress up as some lame ass prince.
“Stop whining, short-stack. At least your legs are covered. Now let’s go around to check the other booths,” You huffed, dragging a reluctant Yoongi around.
Maybe you shouldn’t have done that.
Class 3-A and 3-B somehow agreed to combine their booths. It would’ve been a harmonious unification had their booths been something other than the ones they had: A marriage and a jail booth.
The little shits changed their rules and made it into something you thought was so funny. Some idiots from 3-B would “jail” and handcuff you to some poor victim that would also get caught and from there, you had two choices: pay 5,000 won to be set free or get married for only 500won. It was genius and you would’ve made a lot of moola because you’re also a little shit. But you were one of the victims. Fuck.
So here you were now, being dragged by Taka, another someone from your childhood, to 3-A’s marriage booth for your very unfortunate fate.
“Why is she alone, you idiot? You gotta handcuff two people for it to work,” 3-A’s president chided upon noticing you were the only one handcuffed. Luckily, Yoongi trailed along (to laugh at you or use this as blackmail, you weren’t sure). He seemed so ticked off when Taka dragged you though.
“Well,” Taka smirked as he raised his free arm, “it can always be me.”
Horrified at his very forward advances, you cringed and silently cried for Yoongi’s help. Before you could voice out your dislike, however, Yoongi had already pulled you from Taka’s hold.
“Marry me, Y/N.”
Your face immediately turned into different shades of red. You were too speechless to even respond to him shoving Taka away and handcuffing himself to you. Some of the people who were in 3-A’s room gasped because even they couldn’t believe that this was happening. Yoongi was nervous, it was embarrassing after all, but it wasn’t obvious in any way. You were about to give him his answer but then...
“NO!!”
Sohee crashed the wedding before it could even start and 3-A’s president let you guys go as an apology for the commotion.
You couldn’t forget that day… especially when you almost answered yes.
Tumblr media
Perhaps it was inevitable. Your friends and their mothers seem to have already known what was ahead before you two got there. But eventually, you and Yoongi got together. You already knew he wanted to pursue a music career and were more than supportive when he decided to sign under a small company named BigHit.
While together, you two worked your best to pay your rent and debts. You two ran away from Daegu after none of your parents approved of your career choices, with him and his dream to be a producer and you and your dream of arts. It was hard having to leave your comfortable life in your little hometown but having Yoongi with you helped a lot.
A few years later, your boyfriend (now changed into the rapper and producer of the idol group BTS) found out that his company loosened its strict ban on dating and he was finally able to introduce you to his friends. (though they knew Yoongi had someone in his heart, they were never able to put a face to it)
Your favorite member (shh don’t tell anyone) had to be Hoseok. He can easily lift everyone’s spirits up and he displayed so much warmth when Yoongi introduced you to the guys.
There was a reason why Hoseok was so easy to hang out with. He was the first to know that Yoongi had someone in his life and would often come to him when he wanted to talk about you (there were times he was so excited about you that he wanted to tell everyone,,, thankfully he had hobi to talk to). So it was like Hoseok already knew you before he could meet you. Because of that, Hoseok was the middleman. The person who would be the voice of reason if you two fought. You also went to Hoseok about Yoongi, especially because you still weren’t allowed to tell the world that you were with Min “BTS’ Rapper and Producer” Yoongi.
Hoseok was also the first one to know when Yoongi had plans of proposing. He was aware of your history and would always laugh whenever you’d describe a jealous high schooler Yoongi yanking you away from some random named Taka.
It had to be one of the most painful things for Hoseok when he was told to keep quiet of the surprise. He was bubbling with excitement that day and was mirroring Yoongi’s eagerness to finally ask you the question you’ve been denied of answering since.
After a simple dinner out, you both decided to walk in a quiet park (it was quite late so no one was around). Yoongi inhaled, unconsciously gripping your hand quite tightly, and looked for the velvet box with his other.
You stopped at some point to gaze at the comforting contrast of the night with the city lights but you felt Yoongi halt in his tracks so you turned around.
There he was, one knee on the ground as he grinned that gummy smile of his that you’ll never get tired seeing, with the question you’ve been wanting to answer for your whole life.
“Will you marry me, Y/N?”
“Yes.”
It took Yoongi three times to propose to you, and he wouldn’t want it any other way.

BTS Reactions: One of the other members dislikes their s/o because of misunderstanding her personality
THE PREMISE: You’re shy, and while you are a lot of fun once you get to know people, you come across as extremely quiet around people you don’t know well. One of the other members misunderstands your personality.
A/N: This is unedited because I’m a trash gremlin lol it will be edited later
EDIT: okay I finally came back and edited it, although I did find some mixed tenses in some of them, and while I’m working on being better about avoiding that, I’m not going to fix it here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Namjoon: Because you were so quiet, Jin found himself overcome with curiosity about what your relationship with Namjoon was truly like. He justified it to himself as concern that his best friend was with someone deserving of him, but it was a bit of nosiness as well. He was walking down the hallway in the dorms one day when he heard voices coming from Namjoon’s room. The door was just slightly ajar, enough to let sound carry into the hallway. Jin paused in the hall to listen, unable to help himself. All he heard was muffled voices before he heard you laugh loudly and say “Ew! You nasty! Come on, we both know I’d never ever be sexually attracted to you in the first place,” with a giggle. Jin saw red. Furious, he stormed into his own room and slammed the door, thinking about what he’d heard. Finally as you and all the boys were eating dinner he lost his cool. He stood abruptly, hissing at you that you were such a fake and that you weren’t worthy of Namjoon’s affection. “I don’t even know why you would be with her!” He exclaimed, causing the other boys to nervously exchange glances. Jin noticed and scoffed. “Please, she’s not an angel. Do you know what I overheard her say today when I walked down the hallway?” He repeated what he’d heard and the boys’ eyes grew wide, staring at you with shocked, horrified faces. All the color had drained from your face. Namjoon just looked completely caught off-guard, like he hadn’t fully processed Jin’s words yet. You took a deep breath, looking down at your hands. “Joonie, would you like to share what you said right before that?” You asked, looking up at him pointedly. Joon was blushing as he told them. “I’d just said ‘are your legs nutella because I’d like to spread them’.” He confessed in clear embarrassment. You finally made eye contact with Jin. “You don’t have to like me, but you should know that I was joking.” You told him, and Jin looked a little unsure. “I thought you didn’t have a sense of humor though…” He muttered, causing Namjoon to shake his head and reply, “She’s really shy around new people. She doesn’t know you guys well.” Jin kind of felt bad by then, but was still not convinced he was totally wrong. “How do we know you were actually joking?” He demanded, and you bit your lip nervously, exhaled, and squeezed your eyes tightly shut as you pulled the neckline of your sweater to the side. It revealed your collarbone which was decorated with several dark purple marks. Namjoon smirked. “It was a funny joke because she and I both know that’s the farthest thing from the truth, because she certainly wasn’t saying she wasn’t attracted to me last night.” Jin looked mortified, looking down at his food and eating in silence for the rest of the meal, clearly embarrassed. Meanwhile the other boys became slightly more comfortable joking around with you now that they knew what you were like when you weren’t so shy.
Jin:  Up until this point, you hadn’t had the chance to spend much time with the other members, so you were still very much in your shell around them. But tonight your lovely boyfriend was cooking dinner for everyone and you were going to be there as well, and while you were nervous, you were looking forward to getting to know the boys better. When you arrived at the dorm you greeted Jin with a kiss on the cheek and he smiled at you, asking if you were hungry since dinner was nearly ready. You replied that you definitely were, helping to move everything to the table once it was done. Whatever Jin had made smelled amazing. But when the food was put onto everyone’s plates you froze, realizing that he’d made jajangmyeon. Apparently he had forgotten that you couldn’t eat gluten, or at least forgotten that there was gluten in noodles. You knew Jin would feel awful about it when you reminded him, so you decided to wait until it wasn’t in front of the other members to bring it up. In the meantime you periodically picked up and put down bites of food to make it look like you were eating. You could feel Jin’s eyes on you, and you felt extremely guilty, even though you knew it wasn’t your fault. Meanwhile Hoseok was watching the whole thing, seeing the look of disappointment on Jin’s face as you didn’t eat. He felt furious, thinking that someone so impolite and inconsiderate didn’t deserve to be with Jin. Later after dinner you pulled Jin aside to speak privately about the food issue. As you’d anticipated he felt really terrible about forgetting your gluten allergy. You assured him that it was okay but told him you just didn’t want him to think you didn’t appreciate his cooking. With the misunderstanding cleared up, everything was good between the two of you and everyone sat around talking. Still shy with the members, you didn’t do a whole lot of participating. Your silence only made Hobi angrier until finally he lost his temper in the middle of a conversation. “What is your problem?!” He demanded, giving you a hard stare. Your eyebrows shot up and you blinked repeatedly in surprise. “Do you even care about Jin? Did you see his face when you just decided you weren’t going to eat the food he cooked? Why do you hardly ever speak in group conversation? What are you really doing here, because you’re not sincere about having feelings for Jin.” Hoseok accused, and it was everything you could do to keep your jaw from dropping open incredulously. Oh, but now he had seriously pissed Jin off. No one was allowed to speak to you that way. He admonished Hoseok for presuming to know anything about your relationship or your feelings before explaining that you didn’t choose not to eat dinner, you physically couldn’t eat it. You were being kind in not wanting to expose that he’d forgotten your gluten allergy in front of the whole group. “She’s been quiet because she’s really shy around new people, and I wonder why she’s uncomfortable speaking up, in that case, with the very warm welcome you’re giving her by judging and attacking her.” Jin snapped, and Hoseok looked ridiculously guilty and embarrassed. He later apologized to you and Jin both in private.
Yoongi:  Before you’d come over to the dorms for a game night, Yoongi had asked that you keep the PDA to an absolute bare minimum. He just knew that the maknae would take any opportunity to tease him, and he knew that as shy as you were you would absolutely hate that. You understood, agreeing. Still not having spent a great deal of time with the other members, you were nervous to be around them, but you were also excited to get to know the people who were most important to the man you loved. Throughout the night you were quiet as usual, and you tried to adhere to the minimum-physical-contact rule you and Yoongi had set in place as well as you could. Still, occasionally, before you could catch yourself, you’d find yourself reaching for his hand, or sitting close to him, or resting a hand on his shoulder. In all cases he shook you off as subtly as he could, first and foremost wanting to protect you from Jungkook’s teasing. You didn’t take this personally, understanding its purpose. However, Hoseok was watching the whole night, not missing the way Yoongi quickly pulled away from your every touch. At one point you got up and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. Hobi decided to follow you and have a little chat. He thought he was helping. You smiled at him when he entered the room, drinking your water in silence. “Listen, Y/N, you seem like a really sweet girl and that’s why I’m going to tell you this. Yoongi doesn’t actually like you. Don’t waste your time or risk getting hurt because you’re not picking up on the signals he’s putting out. He’s not the best at communicating his feelings so he probably doesn’t know how to let you down easy.” He said, completely shocking you. Before you could even speak, Yoongi appeared in the doorway behind Hoseok. “What the hell?! What do you think you’re doing telling MY girlfriend how I do or don’t feel about her?!” He demanded, positively furious. Now it was Hobi’s turn to be shocked. “I just — I thought — shes so sweet and quiet, I didn’t want her to accidentally be led on… You practically jump away every time she touches you, you can’t tell me you’re serious about having feelings for her.” He let the words spill out, watching Yoongi grow angrier by the moment. “I’m dead fucking serious Hoseok, I love her. I was avoiding any sort of physical affection because she’s so shy and Jungkook teasing us for being lovey-dovey would be really uncomfortable for her.” He explained, fuming. He walked over and stood behind you, wrapping his arms around your shoulders and hugging you tightly as he kissed the top of your head. “If you were concerned you should have talked to me. I can’t believe you’d just assume you knew what was going on and try to scare her off.” Yoongi scoffed, taking your hand and leading you back into the living room to rejoin the others.
Hobi:  You knew that especially around new people, you seemed very very different from your boyfriend Hoseok. He was bright, bubbly, friendly, and outgoing, while you were quiet and much more subdued. You were a lot more fun to be around when you felt comfortable with the people around you, opening up and becoming a sillier, more relaxed version of yourself Thus far, however, there hadn’t been opportunities for the other members to see that version. As a byproduct of his concern for your comfort while surrounded by people you didn’t know well, Hoseok became much quieter than his usual self, focused on you and making sure you felt okay. Instead of bouncing around he stuck right to your side, holding your hand and watching your expression for signs of unease. Yoongi saw how much being with you changed his best friend and he was not happy about it. He hated the idea that, regardless of how nice a person you were or weren’t, Hobi would try to change who he was for you. One night at dinner Yoongi seemed extra annoyed and standoffish.  He watched closely as Hoseok spoke only a fraction as much as he normally would, too focused on you. Finally Yoongi had had enough. You had gone to the bathroom when he finally spoke up. “You’re so different around her. I don’t like it. It’s like you’re not you. I can’t see why you even like her.” Yoongi said, catching Hoseok totally off-guard. He was immediately annoyed. “Good thing she’s my girlfriend and not yours. You don’t need to see why I like her.” He snapped, causing Yoongi to roll his eyes. “You don’t have to be so defensive,  I just hate to see you with someone who dims your light.” You reentered the room just in time to hear this exchange. “You’re awfully hypocritical, don’t you think? For somebody who can be so reserved you’re being pretty judgmental of her for the same reason. And she doesn’t dim my light, if anything being around people she doesn’t know dims HER light, and I’m just making sure she’s okay. She’s a lot of fun if you give her a chance, she just has to get comfortable with you.” It warmed your heart to hear him defend you like that, though you felt extremely uncomfortable because of what Yoongi had said. When you settled back down into your seat beside Hobi you couldn’t hide the tears welling up in your eyes as you stared at the ground, not making eye contact. “I’m sorry for not being fun… I don’t want to bring anybody down.” You said quietly, trying not to break down. Hobi was staring at you with intense worry in his eyes. He rested his hand on your cheek and you finally looked at him. He kissed your forehead and then pulled you into a hug, holding you close to comfort you. He glared pointedly at Yoongi, who just looked away, feeling embarrassed for having been so quick to judge.
Jimin:  You were over at the dorms to get to know the other members better one day, knocking on the door and waiting for an answer. Taehyung answered the door, giving you a friendly smile and inviting you in. Your boyfriend Jimin came bounding down the hallway with an excited exclamation of “baby!” before he pulled you into a hug. You wince at the pain. He feels you tense and remembers, jumping back as if he’s been burned. Jungkook, who had been coming down the hall after Jimin, sees this and thinks you’re uncomfortable with physical affection. This worries him a lot, actually. He knows Jimin, what a cuddly person he is, how he needs that in his life. What would he be doing with someone who doesn’t want to be touched? Jimin mumbles a ’sorry’ with an apologetic smile, and you just smile back at him. “Want to play video games? The guys were just about to start, we could play too if you want.” He suggests, and you nod enthusiastically. Minutes later you’re watching intently as Jimin tries to beat Taehyung at whatever game they’re playing. Jungkook eyes you, taking note that you have still kept a safe distance from Jimin this whole time. He decides he has reason to be concerned. Later when it’s you against Jungkook, he elbows you in the side to try to cheat, and you drop the controller as you squeeze your eyes shut tightly at the pain you feel. Jimin jumps up, yelling Jungkook’s name in alarm due to worrying about you. Jungkook rolls his eyes. “Look, I don’t know why your girlfriend is so weird about people touching her, but come on, man, why would you want to be with somebody like that? You’re the touchiest person I know, are you gonna sit here and tell me you’re fine with being a minimum of a foot apart at all times?” he demands, sounding more irritated than angry. Jimin literally facepalms. “Jungkookie, you idiot. She has a broken rib! I forgot and when I hugged her it hurt so I jumped back. Just now when you elbowed her it probably REALLY fucking hurt. Are you okay, by the way?” He stops and looks at you in concern. You give a thumbs up though your face shows it still hurts a lot. Jungkook, not liking being wrong, huffs and demands, “fine, well what about how she never speaks? She’s not right for you.” He insists, making Jimin go from irritated to actually angry. “She doesn’t talk much around you because she’s shy around people she doesn’t know well. And no wonder, too, with how you’re treating her at the moment.” He snaps, surprising Jungkook with the venom in his voice. “And as for physical affection, she’s literally so much of a cuddle bug she could rival ME in that sense, she just has to be really careful because she’s hurt.” He hisses, giving Jungkook a glare before taking your hand and helping you up. “Let’s go lay down for a while, I’m sure it’s super painful.” Jimin says to you in a soft voice. You nod, blinking back tears from how much it hurts. With an apologetic glance at Taehyung and one last threatening stare at Jungkook, Jimin leads you down the hall to his room.
Taehyung:  You really, really wanted the other members to like you. Still, your shyness around new people made it difficult to befriend them quickly, so you had to have some patience there. Luckily Taehyung understood that perfectly, knowing how different you were once you felt comfortable with someone. Your desire for them to like you, however, actually made the shyness even worse. It made you extra self-conscious about being lovey-dovey with Tae in front of them, feeling super easily embarrassed. You found yourself dodging kisses, ducking out of hugs, and wiggling out from under his arm when he put it around your shoulders. You felt like everyone was watching you and it made you really, really uncomfortable. Taehyung understood, but frequently forgot, reverting to his natural touchy instincts without thought. He would jokingly pout at you when you avoiding attempts to show physical affection, but he wasn’t upset about it by any means. Jimin was super suspicious of his best friend’s new girlfriend, so he watched you closely whenever you were around. He noticed right away how you didn’t seem to want Taehyung to touch you and he didn’t like it one bit. What kind of girlfriend didn’t ever want her boyfriend to touch her, even in little ways? Not the kind that would make Tae happy, Jimin thought. Luckily for Jimin, when he decided to bring the topic up to Taehyung, you weren’t around. Tae would’ve been ready to kill him for upsetting you needlessly. Jimin expressed his concerns about you not being the right person for Tae, explaining that especially how you avoided his touch was worrisome to him. This made Taehyung really, really mad, and he told Jimin as much. He explained how your shyness made you extra embarrassed about PDA, particularly because of your desire for the boys to like you. Before Jimin could even look regretful, Taehyung left the room in a huff, not believing how judgmental Jimin had been for basically no reason. Late that night you and Tae had been watching Netflix when you fell asleep cuddling. You were laying on top of him, your legs on either side of him and your arms around his neck as your head rested against his shoulder. It was almost koala-like, the position you found yourself in, fast asleep. Tae was thinking about his conversation with Jimin until he had an idea. He took a selfie of the two of you cuddling like you were so it was clear how you both were situated. He send it to Jimin with the caption “You’re totally right, my girlfriend hates to be touched.“.
Jungkook: Jungkook knew how nervous you were to hang out with the other members, and he could understand why. You were super shy around people you didn’t know and you’d only met them a handful of times before. So when he invited you over to have dinner with everyone he was prepared to make absolutely certain you felt comfortable and welcome. Throughout the evening Jungkook was a lot more subdued than he normally would be and watched you carefully to be sure you were doing okay. Namjoon saw the change in Jungkook’s personality. It really worried him. He already didn’t like that you were a couple of years older than Jungkook. The thought that you could end up being manipulative toward him seemed like a very real danger, in Namjoon’s opinion. When he saw how closely Jungkook was watching your facial expressions and reactions, he felt like his fears were confirmed. Joon decided that you were a super controlling girlfriend that treated Jungkook like a baby because he was younger, and Jungkook was watching you to make sure he hadn’t angered you. After dinner, Joon asked to speak to Jungkook privately. When Jungkook looked at you nervously, agreeing to go only when you offered a small smile, Namjoon felt even more certain of his conclusion. He told Jungkook about what he had observed, watching as Jungkook because visibly upset. “If anyone is treating me like a baby here, it’s you, hyung. You think you can just make conclusions about my relationship based on an hour of observation? Why wouldn’t you just ask me about it first, anyway? Am I such a helpless child to you that I can’t make my own choices?” He demanded, clearly angry. “She’s not controlling. Far from it. She’s extremely shy and was nervous about coming here tonight, so I’ve been keeping an eye on her to make sure she’s okay. I guess she had reason to be worried, since you’ve taken upon yourself to decide she’s manipulating me. You’re right, I’m not a baby anymore, but if anyone needs to get that through their head, it’s you.” He snapped, hurt that his absolute hero would treat him this way. He stormed out, returning to your side and wrapping a protective arm around you. Namjoon felt so, so guilty. He’d been afraid that Jungkook was being treated like a child when he ended up being guilty of that himself. The very signs he’d taken to mean you were manipulating him were actually Jungkook being mature and considerate. He’d been unfair to you and Jungkook both, and he needed to make it up to you.

1 : I disagree with the anon who thinks tae has a hard time dealing with his sexuality and jk does not. In the earlier years, tae said very conservative things but since a long time now, he has been the loudest supporter of lgbt of the entire group, answers harshly to delulu fangirls and even implied he wanted to sing his love christmas song only with a man because he chose to not release it when a big hit producer made him sang with adora instead of jimin.
Tumblr media
Disclaimer - please keep in mind the below is our opinion / theory on the topic at hand. The timeline is separate from asks and we strive to remain credible, and driven by facts, there. In asks we more freely theorize. Thank you!
Sara: These are my rough thoughts as of 9th of November 2020. General Disclaimer - I could easily change my mind about anything that I say that isn’t included in the actual Timeline due to the extreme level of insight or subjectiveness that asks usually require which can only be answered with opinions in development and insufficient pondering / research. Well, this turned into a discussion which is good :) I do agree that Jk also struggles with his identity and is afraid to be outed without being prepared, which is natural. This would fall in line with him saying he didn’t want “a kiss from a boy” as he panicked in his coming of age day back in 2016 when he already knew he liked Tae (the famous day joon called for tae to kiss him). Mind you, on that same trip Tae said it was weird to hold a man's hand in public when he saw JK and hobi holding hands in the streets of Europe. I don’t think Tae said that due to jealousy. I think it was his internalized homophobia speaking (meaning self-rejecting feelings that are so common within lgbtq individuals where they are affected by what society considers correct. That’s where self-hate comes from). Both Jk and Tae deal with internalized homophobia and they’ll probably deal with it their entire lives to some extent, because it doesn’t necessarily disappear in its entirety even if you come out and “accept” yourself, especially if you live in a conservative environment. I can tell they’ve both come a long way though and they are much more comfortable in their own skin. It’s beautiful how Tae has embraced gay culture and clearly feels part of the lgbtq community. I think Tae seeks for belonging while Jk is much more “independent” and I personally think the idea of “a community” doesn’t resonate with him as much. I don’t know if it’s due to him being a huge introvert or what but not every non-straight person needs to be immersed in the gay scene. There was a time that Jk repeatedly mentioned Troye Sivan as his top 3 favorite singer (while he was self-discovering), recommended “memo” by years & years, etc, and we don’t know what he enjoys in his private life so...at least we know he did find solace in gay public figures during an important period of his life. I love Tae being sassy and shutting down fan’s fantasies, but Jk playing along is innocent and his way of being “friendly”. Jk is the opposite of what toxic masculinity looks like so I don’t see him going out of his way to look straight. He does whatever he wants. He uses women’s perfume, unironically fixed his long hair up into 2 cute ponytails while eating out, enjoys cosmetics and does his own makeup, owns pink items, etc. I’m just saying he doesn’t have a fragile masculinity. Saying bro is just for laughs and to sound cool and american. Him saying he didn’t think he could fall for a guy was a joke to overly compliment hobi while not outing himself. It’s not that serious. He didn’t have the need to joke about crushing on hobi, but he did so VOLUNTARILY. To me it seems like he is pretty comfortable with himself as of now, but remember they are closeted and in a delicate situation.
Kayla - hi anon! The beauty of discussions is each is entitled to their opinion. Respectful discussions are fun - thanks for being kind in your ask☺️I personally think Jk referencing “I’m still me” then taking the time to draw it in artwork speaks volumes. It was around the time Joon recommended a song from the movie and it’s a famous quote so to me, that’s not a coincidence, though you’re entitled to discard it if you wish. I also think we need to consider the context of Jk calling Tae bro - an interview in which he looked at his lips at one point, and caressed his back as he said that word. Those two were pretty affectionate through the overall interview. For some, the bro comment is proof TK aren’t together. For me, context is critical. That moment never dissuaded me on them being “real”. I know some will disagree on that so please know that’s simply my interpretation of that moment. Plus my UK friend said soon after that moment she calls her partner “bro” jokingly so I second Sara it may be as simple as that in why Jk said it. As far as the Hobi comment, I feel like that statement alone shows Jk is part of the lgbtq community. He flat out is saying he fell for a man … and I anticipate one would argue he’s joking but, for me, there’s truth in jest. He didn’t have to say that comment yet he did. I just want to leave it as I don’t agree Jk wants to come off straight at all. I mean don’t forget this is the same guy who also said grapes were more interesting than the girls at the shoot...and this was in his teenage years so🤷🏻‍♀️some may say he was just nervous around the women and that is, of course, totally okay if they interpret it that way. I just view that comment differently. And he’s wearing genderless clothes this year (2020) and changed the lyrics of “savage love” to be genderless, so he shows support, it’s just not in a bold way like Tae. He’s worn a paper clip earring and suppprted lgbtq artists so he does acknowledge the community. I think it just comes down to some people place greater weight on others knowing their identity.
I think Tae wants people to know, hence why he’s expressed loud support in various ways, whereas Jk doesn’t really feel like he needs to address it. My take is Jk genuinely just doesn’t care how people perceive him, and that’s why he isn’t as vocal as Tae, who seems to indicate he really wants people to know his identity. Jk is fortunate to have a progressive family (an example being during his vlive he said, “Anyway, my parents were like that. When I was young, no matter what I did, they let me be and do whatever I wanted to do”), he has loving and supporting members - that support system must have helped greatly as he went through his exploration and struggles. He absolutely struggled, and I agree on that, but I think it was easier for him in some ways because of his environment / support system, and who he is personality wise. Jk is a man of action, not as bothered by the opinion of others (again, we can look to his tattoos as a big indicator of this) whereas Tae seeks validation, even this year, from ARMY. Him saying during pride month, after reading the CMBYN monologue “I want to be happy too🥺” to me shows he still struggled with public perception. Personally, based on private talks I don’t want to get into too deeply in this public setting, I think Tae came more to peace with himself this year. But I do personally think Tae had a harder time coming to terms than Jk did (and has alluded as much when he’s mentioned his struggles with school and puberty, plus some of his solo work). Let me be clear, both struggled, and as Sara says both dealt with internalized homophobia, and I don’t think anyone would disagree with that, but Tae’s overall loudness, for me, shows he wants people to know. That’s why he’s loud. Jk not being loud doesn’t mean, to me, he wants to come off straight. Jk has done an amazing job over the years of smashing others’ preconceived masculinity beliefs and he does it comfortably. For me, it shows he’s just not bothered as much by public perception. He is who he is and it doesn’t matter what people see or think. I’ll agree that Tae definitely is the most vocal member, and seeing him happier and appearing at peace makes me happy, and I definitely don’t think he has any issue with people speculating. I really think it’s important to him for us to know, and i think he wants us to know. As an aside, I know I’m just a fan but I'm super happy for Tae seeming to be more accepting of himself. I know a lot of people, including myself, are touched by him, as well as the other members, for the various ways they’ve shown support to the LGBTQ community.
PS - thanks again for being respectful in initiating further discussions on this topic Anon💜sometimes checking the inbox makes me anxious so I immensely appreciate when people can hold a respectful and kind debate on various topics.

FIRST DAY OF PLAYOFFS…
Time is quick and unforgiving.
You realize this when you take a swift sweep of the sixty-person-filled room you’re in and catch the hanging wall clock. Time’s almost up. Everyone’s striving to finish the examinations that will determine the fate of the scholars in this tense chamber. For some, the exams are for the fifty-percent off scholarship grant. For you, however, you’re aiming for the month-long education in New Zealand, which based by the overheard pre-exams conversations is almost everyone else’s aim.
In a few minutes, everyone, you included, submits their papers.
All you’re thinking about is that you better fucking get in. Those dreadful hours in the quiet of the libraries and the fears of walking alone at night better pay off.
Today is also the first day of playoffs and because of the thousand-item test you had, it’s impossible for you to catch up to any game. Even the final minutes of the day’s last game, ice hockey, are not granted to you. Having arrived at the venue, you only witnessed the university’s team winning hoots and cheers, sonorously booming in the stadium from the ice rink while the audience clears up the seats.
And like every college that exists, there’s a house party and it’s only blocks away from your dorm. You’re in the middle of untying your shoelaces when your phone rings with Seulgi’s contact name flashing on your screen so you answer.
Before you could even speak, a voice beats you to it.
“Hey? I’m Yeri, Seulgi’s classmate. Um, you’re on Seulgi’s speed dial so I just figured to call you—”
“Wait—what-why? What’s going on?” you ask instead, not wasting a minute.
The other line is too loud and thank God, the girl—Yeri—you’re speaking with has gone outside to lessen the noise and actually communicate.
“Seulgi is drunk and none of us could drive her home,” she sighs then gets to the point, “she’s wasted.”
“Yeahyeahokay,” you say, tying your shoes back. “I’ll be there in five. Don’t leave her alone please.”
“Yes! Of course, of course! Thank y—oh, my God, tie—put her hair back!”
In no less than five minutes, you arrive to the house party that shows exactly what it is: a Friday night house party. You feel like even if your university didn’t win ice hockey tonight, something like this would still happen.
But hell did you miss going to parties like this.
Sadly, you aren’t here to party; you’re here to pick up your roommate who you caught puking in the last seconds of your call.
Fuck it.
You enter the vibrating house, licking your lips dried-up from the hints of winter soaking and slowly freezing the autumn air. The interior looks exactly how you expect it to from how it presents itself outside.
“Ayy! _____!”
Someone shouts your name over the blasting music and you know it’s Namjoon. You turn to find him but it’s difficult when the inebriation of people around you is also clouding your vision. There’s too many people moving around.
“On your left!”
You turn so and you see Namjoon with spread legs on a wide grey couch, balancing a red cup of what might possibly be beer on his left thigh. He eases comfortably between Seokjin and an awfully good-looking guy with a perfect side profile.
Your lips heartily form a wide smile.
“Joon!” you shout, approaching him.
“Drink?” Namjoon offers, holding the cup to you.
You’re right—beer.
You shake your head.  “No, thank you.”
“Alright.” He nods. “I didn’t expect you here tonight.”
“Just here to pick up my roommate.”
Namjoon laughs, not failing to pick up the subtle hint of frustration in your tone. “Been there,” he consoles.
“Why are you even here… drinking? Isn’t your game tomorrow morning?”
“Before lunch, yeah,” he corrects. “I’m not getting drunk by the way. Just here for a few drinks then I’ll bounce. Our coach told us to relax.” The last word hotly grazes against his throat.
“And we did,” Seokjin continues, leaning back. “Nice seeing you, _____. You look great.”
“You know I doubt that but thanks.”
“So, what, I’m just not here or…?” the guy with the perfect side profile says.
“Ignore him, _____,” Seokjin mumbles.
“So, _____.” The perfect-side-profile man catches your name. “I’m Hoseok.”
“Ignore him,” Namjoon repeats Seokjin’s sentiment.
You smile at Hoseok anyway, to be polite. Now he has a name. “I’d love to catch up with you, guys, but I gotta go look for my friend,” you say in a hurry, withdrawing in tiny steps. “Bye! Good luck tomorrow!”
“Yeah, your boyfriend won’t really approve of that,” Namjoon teases.
Instead of replying with a witty remark, you already run off to another, emptier corner of the house and you even heard Hoseok double-checking Namjoon’s statement, asking something like, “How the fuck do all girls in this party have partners?”
Your phone vibrates and lights up with a message from Seulgi or well, Yeri who’s handling her phone, telling you to go to the backyard.
When you spin, time doesn’t construct itself much from your rapid recognition of whose back is facing you right now but meters away.
It’s Jungkook.
It’s Jungkook whose arm is leaning flatly on the wall, caging a girl with his body. It’s Jungkook in the kitchen with a girl giggling in his company and by the way his back bounces, he too must also be sharing the laughter. It annoys you that you could recognize him so easily, and worse, you could recognize him smiling from the looks of his back.
That’s Jungkook, alright.
Fuck it.
It has you reeling how you’re feeling this way but Joohyun’s words from last time ring in your head. They’ve constantly been.
This is a burden you never lifted off your shoulders.
And things like that – they come full circle.
Do they really?
You faintly shake your head.
You pass by them in speedy steps, getting a whiff of Jungkook’s cologne along the way. Some things never change.
It only takes probably half a minute for you to spot Seulgi being forced to stand up by her friends. You hear her say something to them but you couldn’t pick it up since she slurred her way through it. She lifts her head and probably sees you.
She does.
“_____!” Seulgi shouts, barely pronouncing out your name correctly.
“Oh, thank God!” Yeri groans as she follows Seulgi’s gaze.
You help Yeri and two other girls with Seulgi.
“God really is a woman,” Yeri declares in a pained whisper, squeezing her eyes shut when you take Seulgi’s arm from her shoulder.
She groans from relief, rolling her shoulders.
“My car is parked right outside,” you state, wrapping Seulgi’s arm around you instead.
“Whaaayoudyoin…” Seulgi asks, pushing her head back with closed eyes. “Donnbrimehome pleaaa! Jaacallmywoommey. I haa! A woomate!”
Now Seulgi is being a pain in the ass.
Seulgi doesn’t make it easy for you to carry her with her thrashing her body sideways at almost every step you make.
“Hey! _____! I’ll help,” Namjoon shouts from the back door, jogging lightly to your destination. “Saw you from the window,” he adds. “You didn’t tell me this was your roommate. She’s been like this for almost half an hour now.”
You shrug, passing Seulgi’s arm to Namjoon’s shoulder. “Well, that’s for her to remember in the morning.”
“She’s wasted as fuck”—Seulgi kicks and almost gets to Namjoon’s leg—“and stubborn as fuck too. Goddamn.”
“That’s my roommate, alright,” you sigh, words barely under your breath. You watch Seulgi move around and Namjoon could only back off when she turns and sways, but he tries his best to steady her, alternating holds from her shoulders, arms, and elbows. “So, can you…?”
He gives off a nervous laughter. “Yeah, fuck. I’ll just need…” he looks around, “some help.” And he catches Hoseok who’s chilling on the doorstep. “Hobi! Help me out here!”
“What, can’t carry a girl only half your size, Joon?” Hoseok provokes but comes closer.
“How ‘bout you fucking try, then?” Namjoon lets go of Seulgi and Hoseok almost backs off when your drunk friend pushes them off with her arms.
“Oh, fuck,” Hoseok says.
“Are you guys really gonna help?” you ask, frustration pent up, helping Seulgi stand on your own.
“Anything for you, princess.” Hoseok winks.
God, you are so familiar with this type of talks. The sigh drawn from your lungs is probably an adequate answer but Hoseok probably failed to catch that as you do not receive any reaction from him.
With the help of Namjoon and Hoseok, you arrive to your car in no time. The other girls have already gone back to the frat house and rekindle with whatever activities Seulgi disrupted them from. Tonight is a failure to feminism, you think.
“Drive home safe,” Hoseok reminds, tapping your scrolled-down window.
Although unaccustomed of the gesture coming from him, you slowly nod.
“Okay, between the two of us, only I get to tell her that, a’right? Move,” Namjoon interferes, pushing Hoseok aside. He nods to Seulgi who’s dead asleep on the shotgun. “You sure you can bring her up yourself?”
You could only nod. Fuck, you haven’t thought of that.
Fuck it.
You swallow.
With a determined sigh, you say, “Yep. Thanks for your help, Joon.”
He flashes his deep dimples at you. “That’s nothing,” he genuinely says. “It’s nice to see you again, though, _____. Seeing you back there felt like high school, when you were still with that shithead Yoongi—fuck, sorry.”
“I’m fine! You can call him shithead as much as you like.” You laugh and he does too. “Also, yeah, it’s really been a while, huh?”
He agrees by wiggling his brows. “You took your exams today?” he asks.
“Yep! Missed all the games for that one.”
“Sucks,” Namjoon comments, his forehead furrowing in comfort. “Did mine yesterday. See you in New Zealand, baby!”
He raises a palm up and you reciprocate the high five.
You think, right.
He’s both an athletic and academic scholar. Of-fucking-course.
“You can’t be too sure.” You shake your head.  “I’m not as smart as you.”
He scrunches his nose to brush off your comment. “Eh,” he deadpans, shrugging. “I’m sure you did well, _____. You’ll get in.” He takes a pause then he exhales, gripping onto the bottom windowpane of your car. “Jungkook also took his yesterday. Hopefully, we all get in.”
You could only nod and Namjoon must’ve seen how that made you tense for a second. He clears his throat and knocks a tin of your car. “Drive home safe. Hope to see you tomorrow.”
“Oh, you will.”
“Text me when you get home.”
“Oh, I will.”
He chuckles and repeats, “I really did miss you.”
“You too. Need to catch up with… everything.”
“And ignore Hoseok, by the way. Hasn’t gotten his dick wet for a week, excuse him.”
“I’m literally standing right next to you.”
SECOND DAY OF PLAYOFFS…
Sans the library studies from your morning routine, you take into account to visit Joohyun’s shop, Irene’s, every morning for whatever you need. It could all stem from buying sweets or drinks to reheating lunch boxes to borrowing cash.
Today is for the former.
You’ll be needing to replenish energy and the way to do that is through sugar. Loads of them.
“You getting nervous?” you ask.
Amid your morning walk, you are on line with Jimin who you swear is nervous but tells you otherwise.
“How many times do I have to tell you that I feel… alright?” Jimin sighs.
“That doesn’t sound confident,” you tease. “Where’s my cocky boyfriend?”
“When have I ever been cocky?” he scoffs.
“A few times—mostly in bed—but I’ll take that point,” you goad.
You hear him laugh on the other line. “Can’t wait to see you.”
In that, you feel the syllables stretching with the way he smiles. Before you were with him, you found it corny how you read things like hearing someone’s smile from a call but fuck do you get it now. You get it. And it feels nice catching details like that.
You bite your bottom lip. “Me too,” you reply. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited in weeks. Probably months even, for something. And all I’ve ever been was… tired and annoyed. Mostly, tired.”
“Mhm,” Jimin hums. “I forgot to ask you last night about your exams. Sorry ‘bout that.”
“That’s fine and you know what, I don’t think I did that well.” You pout. “Before you yell at me, I’m not just saying this. I swear I feel this way.”
“That can’t possibly be right.” You hear a shuffle from his line, probably him shifting on his seat. “You’re the smartest person I know.”
You couldn’t help the laugh the blooms from your chest. “Okay, now you’re just lying to my face.”
“Not to your face. And no,” he emphasizes his decline, “I am not lying.”
“It’s either that or you don’t know that many people which is impossible, by the way.”
Jimin laughs again then he composes himself. “You’re getting that grant, babe. I’m sure.”
You raise your brow. “You’re ‘sure’?”
He laughs. “Okay—maybe not sure, but you get me.”
“Whatever, Park Jimin,” you sass.
It only occurs to you that you never actually told Jimin that you’re looking forward to a month-long exchange trip in New Zealand for winter, not a fifty percent off scholarship grant. You aren’t sure why you didn’t tell him in the first place. It’s probably because you applied for it just when Jimin started his training. Then weeks went on and on.
It’s difficult for you to tell him because then, after barely seeing each other for about three weeks because of his training and your preparation for exams, it’s again another month of bare absence, of almost concrete silence between the two of you. It’s again another time for uncertain developments and yearning for lingering touches on your skin.
You’re scared that he’ll think you don’t think much about spending time with him because you do. But the New Zealand trip will be a box full of opportunities too, and you cannot risk not being able to go.
But after this for sure.
Fuck it.
Inhaling sharply, you repeat previous sentiment, “Can’t wait to see you.”
“Cheesy.” His voice is flirty, its rasp sticking to the word.
“What do you want me to say then?” It’s a challenge you don’t want to lose. “I’m ready to suck you like a champ,” you say, tone lacing in feigned seduction before spared milliseconds of bursting into laughter. “How was that? How does that sound?”
“Sexy,” he muses, grinning. “And what if I lose then?”
“Don’t say that.” You click your tongue on the roof of your mouth. “Well, I’ll make you feel like a champ then.”
“Yeah, okay. I gotta admit, that sounds kinda hot,” Jimin laughs.
You grin. “Today should be all about you, babe. Do well and I’ll text or call you when I get there. Love you.”
“Love you too.”
When the line disappears into the plainness, into thin air, it’s just on time with Joohyun noticing you from the counter through the glassed walls of the cozy shop, allowing the central color of brown in different schemes to the exit, displaying itself for people to see orange-turning furies from the islands to the select bricked walls and to the waxed wooden floors. She does her usual routine every time she sees you: untie her apron, leave the counter, and pull her phone from her pocket.
You enter, rolling your eyes at her.
“Good morning to you too, _____,” Joohyun exclaims with a wide smile.
“Get back to the counter,” you say.
“What?” She frowns. “But I just got out.”
“Your shop opened literally fifteen minutes ago.”
“I know. I opened,” she says, mocking you with her tone. Barely. “Contrary to what you think sometimes, I do work here.”
“Exactly,” you say sharply. “I’m gonna order something.”
She rolls her eyes, reties the ribbon of her apron, and slip her phone back into her pocket. “What do you want?”
Your eyes land on the untouched blueberry cheesecake caged in glasses as an answer. Joohyun is quick to her senses, crouching down to have herself almost face-to-face with your dessert.
“How many of this do you want?”
“Four slices, please,” you declare, excitement evident in your phrasing.
She straightens her back once all the slices are neatly placed in a small paper box for you.  “Aren’t these too much for a morning?”
“Don’t shame me. Also, I have a roommate to feed.”
Her eyes widen at your response then she presents you a tight smile. “Okay.” Then she announces the price of your order. “Will you tip your cashier?”
“No. When can I get like a friend discount in here?”
“You won’t,” she says curtly, processing your order and payment into the slim machine. “Look at you getting all sugar-high for the game later.”
“Well,” you shrug, “I need all the help I need. I barely slept last night. I had to pick up Seulgi from a party then I had to bring her up to the room—it’s all such a mess last night. She almost puked in my car too.”
“You went to a party and you never told me?”
“Joohyun,” you say through gritted teeth. You point your fingers to your ears for emphasis. “Listen. I said I had to pick Seulgi up.”
“Sorry. All I heard was… party,” she says, whispering the last word into a short-lived outbreath. “So, saw anything interesting? Flaring testosterone levels? See any of my ex making out with someone? Or maybe your ex?”
“I saw Namjoon and Seokjin,” you interrupt. “Jungkook was there too.”
“You two talk?”
You shake your head. “You know what, I feel like you messed with my head, Joohyun. Because last night, I honestly felt like there was this part of me—just a small, small, small, tiny part of me—that was just ready to call his name and talk to him.”
She pushes the box with an attached receipt to you before raising her hands, admitting a defeat you never declared her to do so. “Hey, don’t blame this one on me. I was just saying.”
You look away and you could feel your forehead scrunching up to a concerned look. Without feeling the need to, you sigh.
“Well, you saying it,” you bite your lip, “just did something. Opened wounds.”
Joohyun shakes her head, not entirely getting your point. “Can I just ask? Am I okay here? Like, you’re not mad at me or anything, right, for telling you something that I’m sure you already know?”
“I’m not.”
“Okay, good. Because you don’t sound good. That didn’t sound good.”
“Is it bad that I feel this way?” You swallow and continue, “About him?”
“It’s not a crime to miss someone, _____.”
“I never said I miss him.”
“You didn’t have to, though,” she counters, not bothering to pause a little. “I think you’ll only know whether it’s a good thing or if it’s a bad thing once you start talking to him. For now, I don’t think it’s… you know, something—or anything, but you know, don’t miss the chance to turn into something.”
You nod slowly. “You’re right. Not sure about that last part though. I feel like you’re just planting stuff in my head again.” A beat for how ludicrous it sounds and you continue, “Fuck. I don’t know. I don’t know what to think. In fact, I don’t want to. Maybe I’m just missing high school in general.”
Her brow raises and you’re already so well-aware of what she’s about to say. She really has a way of making you want to eat back the words you just spat to avoid being embarrassed by her teases.
“Oh, you miss high school, huh,” she starts. “Is it because of Jungkook or… maybe Yoongi? Aw, shit. It’s been a while since I even said his name.”
“Fuck you.”
“Are you still in contact with him?” she asks, genuinely curious.
“Of course, not, Joohyun. Do I look like I don’t respect myself?” You don’t wait for her answer and beat her into speaking by saying, “Okay. Don’t answer that.”
“Do you wanna know some classified information?” she asks, shifting the topic. On her note, at the control of the conversation, she says, before you could even answer, “Jungkook and you must have pretty similar tastes—andandand before you yell at me, I can say so because he frequents here ever since he started ordering here. Thanks to you.”
“Again, fuck you,” you hiss. “I didn’t want to know that.”
She scoffs, ignoring your statement. “Whatever. Enjoy your stuff and see you later.”
The venue is already packed with people when you arrive, many of them are students. The student division of the two universities can be clearly seen from afar. Outsiders are even dressed up to support whoever they’re supporting and it, without doubt, shows. The cheering squads are already up on their feet, performing their bone-breaking choreographies, shouting on top of their lungs to make out their cheers for the players.
You text Jimin about your arrival and where you’re seated. You’re sure he’ll easily spot you later. He does it every time you attend his games.
Instead of proceeding to a crowded spot among the seats, you go to where Seulgi is and she’s sitting beside Jennie, a mutual friend, chilling at a rather bald spot in the seats, but still only a few seats far from others. Between you and Seulgi, you’ve known Jennie longer although you two weren’t that close in high school.
College really couldn’t pull you from high school.
“Finally, you’re here,” Jennie squeals. “I barely see you around anymore. Park Jimin’s really taking all your time, huh?”
“Girl, I wish. Was busy with the scholarship stuff,” you correct, yawning.
“And girl, you better get it,” Jennie proclaims before biting onto her chip. “Seulgi told me about her drunk night. I salute! Thank you for saving our fallen soldier.”
“You owe me. You owe me big time,” you sternly hiss at Seulgi and she nods adamantly. “So what you two been up to?” you ask, shifting comfortably on your seat.
“What have you been up to, huh?” Seulgi teases. “I didn’t know you were friends with most of the guys in the baseball teams! What the fuck, _____? You never gave me this information!”
Jennie faces you with a mischievous smile. “Ooh, looks like Seulgi wants an introduction with the boys. You’re freshman year ‘bout to get spicy, Seulgi! You don’t know the land of opportunities _____ is going to show you.”
“Jennie, stop planting ideas in her head!” You glare, shaking your head. “I’m not introducing anyone to anyone. And Seulgi, c’mon, now,” you say, a bit disappointed. “Them, really?”
“What? You’re friends with them! Why can’t I be?”
“Okay, fine! Whatever. I’m not your mom. But Jennie will do that for you.” You turn to Jennie. “Right, Jennie? Since this is your bright idea anyway.”
Jennie’s smile fades but she blurts a “yes,” anyway after long negotiations with Seulgi.
Soon, the teams arrive in their team jerseys and whatever gears they need, and the volume of the cheers even turn up to a certain extent that has the seats vibrating a bit. The crowd follows the chants through and through. Of course, the cheers are louder from the home team aka your university.
The loudest is probably when Jungkook’s name was announced. But it’s also hard to make that decision when Seokjin, Namjoon, and Hoseok start to make their entrance one-by-one and the cheers seem to get louder and louder. It has your head reeling, that even when the stadium seats are not completely filled, the clusters of small groups have it in them to shake the plate.
“Holy fuck,” Seulgi chuckles as she covers her ears. “My ears!”
“Jungkook. Golden boy,” Jennie states.
The visiting team then makes their entrance and even if they’re the visiting ones, Taehyung gets his share of screams too.
Your friend, Jennie, on the other hand, chooses to sing-shout a romantic song about how time should go back, an homage for your past with Taehyung which was as shallow as it gets. She does that instead of doing what normal people do in a game—cheer. And you could only slap her leg to shut the hell up.
“Imagine you and Taehyung, what it could’ve been.”
“You know what, Jennie? No. And this is getting old.”
“No, I don’t but I’ll keep doing it.” She raises her brow and you could only shake your head. “Lighten up, _____. I was just kidding.”
“Taehyung’s hot,” comes a direct whisper on your ear, making your hairs stand.
“Fuck! When the hell did you get here?” you ask, startled, while Joohyun hops from the back bleachers and take the empty seat beside you.
“I was looking for you and I was contacting you but you weren’t answering your phone,” Joohyun complains, then she winks at Seulgi then Jennie. “Long time no see, girls!” She wiggles her brows. “Isn’t this exciting?”
“Oh, yeah, definitely! It gets more exciting every time one player comes out and we tease _____ about him,” Jennie says, chuckling.
“And so far, who? Just one. Taehyung. That’s right,” you say dismissively.
“And Jungkook,” Joohyun points out.
“We were friends. We didn’t do anything.”
“Looks like you did, though,” Jennie backs.
“Yeah, definitely,” Seulgi agrees.
“You too? Really?” you moan.
“I don’t know—I just thought…” Seulgi defends without an drop of confidence.
“Sometimes, try not thinking.”
Joohyun groans. “We tease you because we lived boring lives, _____. Mundane. Dull. Humdrum. Monoto—”
“Got it, thesaurus,” you interrupt.
And Jimin finally comes out and you’re sure he winked at you, making you bite your bottom lip to suppress your smile. The crowd roars with the announcement of his name and you’re too flustered to even mingle in with the shouts.
“Aw, is _____ wet yet?” Jennie teases, making Seulgi and Joohyun snicker.
“Shut up,” you hiss but you’re smiling.
Fuck it.
“God, we get it, _____. You have a boyfriend,” Joohyun mumbles.
“Damn right, I do.”
Everyone gets to their position and the game starts with Hoseok pitching while Jimin twirls his ankles and gets ready to bat.
A competitive atmosphere envelops the stadium. Throughout the game, even with your few-minutes-spaced reminders to keep your eyes on Jimin, you couldn’t help but allow them to drift to Jungkook. He just plays so damn well. It’s no wonder this university recruited him when it had a chance.
That’s Jungkook, alright.

CUSP OF SUMMER, FOUR YEARS AGO…
“You free on Saturday?” Jungkook had to ask.
It looked like he wasn’t paying attention to you—or to anything really. He was busy fidgeting over your fled and crazed application papers on the counter, while managing an itch on his nape that never seemed to disappear. Crooking his head to the right as his fingers lightly lifted few pages of your forms, he took a peek.
“Hmm,” you hummed, stretching your hands heavenward with an eye closed, moaning at the delicious stretch. “If this is you asking me to go see you play then…”
He cleared his throat. “Then what?”
“Of course, I’m there. Are we even friends or what?”
“Good. I was starting to doubt that.”
“I don’t see you for like three days then you start saying shit like this to me.” You sneered before rolling your eyes.  “You’re the one on training, mister.”
“Okay—okay. You win this one.”
“Mhm. There’s a teeny, tiny problem though.”
Jungkook’s brow raised in concern. “What?”
“I forgot to buy tickets.”
“Luckily for you,” he slid a ticket from his back pocket next to your cup of coffee, “there’s this.”
“Aw, no,” you cooed. “You have this reserved for me?”
He nodded then he processed your facial expression. “That’s it. That’s the face of someone who thinks the world revolves around them.”
You ignored him with scoff. “You really can’t live without me around you, huh?”
You pressed your hands to your chest for emphasis while your brows drown a quarter span of your forehead. Your teeth couldn’t even release their bite from your bottom lip, doing their best to suppress your jokey beam. But what came next – you hadn’t expected.
Never.
And it will be in your head for quite some time.
“Of course I want you there. You’re my lucky charm,” Jungkook stated without hesitation, shifting his gaze from the ticket then to your eyes. His were earnest.
Yours were something else but they softened. Fuck it.
You did not expect it and it came worse to you. Because now, you were flustered. Flustered like the times he would envelope your hand in his when crossing streets without telling you beforehand. Flustered like when he had kissed the top of your head because you were crying. Flustered like this.
He flashed you a smile, one that only cared to lift the corners of his mouth, before leaving your sight, attending to the game he abandoned on your computer.
“Lucky charm,” you repeated in a small voice. “Lucky charm, huh.”
Not even your boyfriend said stuff like that to you.
As if on cue, your phone lit up with a message from your boyfriend, Yoongi, asking you if you would be free on Saturday.
You didn’t reply, did not even bother tapping your fingers on your phone screen. You didn’t even bother to draw your phone closer to you to read his message. You just wouldn’t and couldn’t.
You sighed. “Jackass.”
If asked to describe your relationship with Yoongi was like, the first word that would pop up in your head was – messy. That itself was enough to tell how problematic your relationship was with him but you couldn’t end it. Yoongi would fuck it up; miss out on significant events of your life, make you wait for hours for a date, leave you on read for days—weeks even, then contact you back – like today. But you took him over and over again in your arms.
“Heard that,” Jungkook announced, clearing the silence between the two of you.
“Don’t worry. It’s not you, Kook.”
“I know it’s not. It’s always one person when it comes to you and that word, _____.” He scoffed, followed by a short chuckle then his conclusion: “That was Yoongi for sure.”
“Damn right.”
When Jungkook’s game ended or after his team won, his time was quickly occupied by some guy you weren’t familiar with. He was dragged to the corner of the stadium, near the entrance made for the players.
Even then, you did your usual routine after every Jungkook game, wait by the doors of the guys’ locker room. As Jungkook was kept busy by some guy, practically all his teammates had exited the room and bid goodbyes to you along reminders of “party at Namjoon’s later” when they caught you leaning on the wall beside the doorstep.
Almost every one of his teammates were out and about in preparation for the party later, getting doses of alcohol in cans, glass bottles, and even those gigantic jugs, and also probably, well most likely, weed, when Jungkook finally gone to shower. Great. You’d be waiting for another set of dread minutes.
The door once again opened while you were busy formulating a reply to Yoongi, the classic type-and-delete approach over an apology for leaving him on read until Saturday—or today arrived. Actually it was the classic type-and-delete-and-curse approach. You were thinking this was all too late because Saturday was almost over anyway.
This was you giving in again and you surely wouldn’t be telling Jungkook about this.
You were doing so well.
Fuck it.
You started typing.
“Hey, _____,” was the greeting of a deep voice from beside you.
“Hey, Tae,” you greeted back, locking your phone.
Taehyung stood next to you, peeking from the small opening he made with the door. But he was close. Close enough for you smell his mint shampoo and a bit out-of-character baby soap. The scent matched well with his fresh face and sodden dark locks, however.
“There’s a seat here,” he noted.
“Great. My legs are killing me,” you said in relief and he opened the door wider for you.
You followed him to the lockers and it was only him left and of course, Jungkook in the showers inside.
Taehyung closed his locker then leaned his back on it, looking down on you as you sat on a bench across him, only a meter away.
If you were asked to describe your relationship with Taehyung, it’d be very easy to do so. It was as shallow as it could get. Things with him were the epitome of almost’s. He’d make a move then nothing happened next.
“You have plans after this?” Taehyung started.
“Is this your pick-up line?” you teased.
“I guess pick-up lines are my bottom-of-the-barrel approach to finally get it on with you then.” He chuckled, making you take note of the fact that his voice even sounded deeper when he did. “So, what are you up to?”
“To wherever Jungkook goes,” you answered. “It’s his day anyway.”
“So you’ll be at the party later then.”
You scoffed. “With or without Jungkook, I’ll be there for sure. Won’t miss it for the world.”
“Would you mind if we pick up where we’d always left off?” was his brazen request.
That made you stand up from being seated, meters closing into bare inches when you branded the floor with your footsteps.
Taunting to be as bold as him, you smirked.
“And where is that?” you asked breathily, grazing your fingers on the loose part of fabric clinging on his waist.
He smirked, aiming to tear down your dominant demeanor with how he towered over you but you contested, keeping your eyes locked with his. “Pretty,” he merely commented, clearing your face from the stands of your hair.
“Pretty?” you repeated.
Taehyung got a hold of your wrist but he kept his touch merely centimeters above your skin. He skimmed to your elbow and upwards, upwards, upwards until he reached to swipe his thumb on your bottom lip. “So pretty,” he repeated bending down his neck to whisper them in your ears.
He claimed a spot on your neck with a small peck just when you thought he’d claim you in for a kiss.
“You letting me take you home tonight?”
And fuck were you ready to just jump on his request.
His voice dripping honey didn’t help at all.
“That’s a question I can’t answer,” you swallowed when he nipped on your jaw to hide your panting, “right now.”
“Uh huh. Why is that?” He placed a hand on your back, dangerously close to your ass. His other hand cupped your cheek into his palm, making it easier for his lips to fan hot breaths over yours.
Again, you swallowed.
“You’ll have to convince me better,” you said weakly.
Fuck it.
“Later, yeah?” He leaned in and right when you hoped he would finally enclose his lips with yours, he only kissed the corner of your lips, making you yearn as if minutes of him playing with you weren’t enough.
You lifted your head, trying to catch his lips which after two quick attempts, he allowed with a smug chuckle.
It wasn’t a deep one. It was open-mouthed, wet. A trial for what comes later.
“Doesn’t look like you need much convincing though,” Taehyung teased, giving your ass a squeeze.
The only answer you could give him was a moan and another kiss which ran a few seconds before he pulled away.
“What now?” you whined in a shy voice, annoyed, making him chuckle.
“You’ve got to tell me though.”
“Tell you what?”
“What’s up with you and Jungkook? I need to know so I don’t fuck up,” Taehyung elaborated sharply. “I mean, you’re always together and shit.”
Your lips were left agape and you ran your tongue behind your teeth as you contemplated. You didn’t know what to tell Taehyung because you didn’t know the answer for that in one statement. You could say your best friends though but why couldn’t you?
“Jungkook!” you shouted instead, startling Taehyung.
“What?” Jungkook shouted back from the showers. “I’m coming out!”
“Okay! Good.” You turn back to Taehyung. “We’re friends.”
“So, I wouldn’t be fucking up anything then? Great,” Taehyung said that had your heart beating faster. “That’s what I liked to hear.”
“You’ve got to know though,” you added. “I’ve got a very complicated relationship with someone right now.”
Taehyung shook his head, laughing. “Yeah, I’m not really worried about getting in the middle of that,” he said, a finger sliding on your lips.
“Taehyung, back off, please,” Jungkook interrupted, a bit of frustration hinting in his tone. “I already told you; she’s taken.”
Taehyung untangled his hands from your waist but his smirk lingered.
You withdrew from Taehyung, walking up to Jungkook who stood at the boundary of the locker room and the shower room. You mouthed to Jungkook inaudibly with an annoyed expression, “Really now?”
He raised a brow at you as he tongued his cheek. “Yeah, _____,” he said sarcastically, nodding his head. “Anyway, let’s go. I’ve got something to tell you.”
The only thing you could do was follow him. He, who was walking in a real hurried pace with his gym bag. Before the two of you exited the locker room and left Taehyung alone, you looked back at him and he gave you a wink.
You two didn’t really move too far from the locker rooms anyway. Just by the doorstep when you waited for him earlier.
“Okay, what’s up?” you asked with a smile, hoping for some good news.
Before he opened his mouth, he gave in to a wide smile he must’ve been biting on his cheek to repress.
Alluring features of him smiling were of different earthly gifts.
“Oh, my God. It is good news! Wait—wait, let me guess! Is this about the guy outside?” You waited for his nod which he gave. “Okay, wait—no. I don’t wanna guess. I give up. What is it? Who was that?” were your shooting questions, putting him on hot seat.
“So that guy is the baseball coach of the national university,” Jungkook introduced slowly but he didn’t continue.
“Well…?”
“He’s asking me to try-out for them.” He paused to exhale. “And if I get in, which he kept telling me I’ve got a great chance in, I’ll go to college there. Free.”
As if it was your triumph to celebrate, your eyes widened as you jumped to hug him tightly. “Oh, my God! That’s so great! I’m so happy for you, Kook! Oh, my God! This is big!”
He let go of his gym bag to fully wrap his arms around your waist, almost completely burying his face to the crook of your neck and shoulder. “It’s still not sure though. Only if I get in—”
“Shh,” you hushed. “One thing at a time.”
“Okay.” He surrendered to you, into the embrace.
“Okay, maybe two things at a time,” you recounted. “First, your win. And this, second. Fuck, I really am your lucky charm, aren’t I?”
“You have a way of making things about you, _____,” he countered instead. But again, he surrendered to you. “But fuck yeah, you really are.”
“Everything’s falling into place for you, damn.” You hugged him tighter, leaving your cheek on his chest. “I’m so happy for you I could honestly cry but to save face, I will not.”
“Thank you, _____,” was his straight reply.
The vibration of his chest suddenly became the beeping alarm in your head on the proximity you two share. But no one was pulling away. Not you. You couldn’t.
Not when hugging him like this felt so good, so warm. So perfect.
You looked up to tease him about the fast beats of his heart, but as if you were caught in act, as if captured to an arrest, you stiffened when his eyes were already onto yours.
But no one was looking away. Again, it was not you. You couldn’t.
It didn’t take long ticks of seconds for you to feel the burning of your cheeks, pinks finally looming to your face. Yet still, you couldn’t, wouldn’t dare look away. And all this time, you were only thinking about how it was you who should look away, not realizing that he wasn’t moving either.
Because it couldn’t be him who would look away too.
It couldn’t be him who would unwrap his arms and pull away finally.
Despite all these thoughts, Jungkook knew that if no one let go, he could lean in. Fuck, he could. You were only a few centimeters away. He really would. He would yet he couldn’t so he stayed the same way you did.
Today was special. This was special.
Today was his.
“You guys have a ride?” Taehyung’s voice suddenly echoed from the locker room, making the both of you jump.
It was you who had to let go.
“Y-Yeah, Tae!” you shouted back.
“Alright,” Taehyung noted, exiting the room and moving past the two of you. He looked back to wink at you. “See you there, _____.”
You bit your lips.
“Really, ____?” Jungkook asked.
“He’s joking,” you defended.
“What is it you see in him anyway?” Jungkook still asked, ignoring your statement.
“Kook, you ask that about every guy I’ve been with,” you stated. “Nothing’s even happened between me and Tae. I just wanna fool around with someone. And everything I have with Yoongi is so close to coming to an end. So, I guess that one’s out the window.”
You waited for Jungkook to speak.
“For real, this time.”
“For real, this time?”
Your statements overlapped, except that Jungkook’s was a question. It was clear that he had enough of you saying the same thing over and over again.
You chuckled.
“Yes, Kook,” you assured. “And you know what? Let’s not talk about this. Today is your day!”
Jungkook chuckled at that, certain that you were only trying to move the discussion away.
“Get drunk as fuck and fuck who you wanna fuck tonight,” you kidded.
He looked down. “You’d think I would,” he mumbled under his breath so silently you barely heard something and you didn’t question it.
In bare silence, the best thing you could bring out was a wide smile on your lips you couldn’t bring to stop. It was enough for Jungkook to feel like he was on top of the world and he could only mentally curse at himself for feeling like this. It was just a smile anyway. Nothing big. Nothing big.
But his chest that barely caged his pumping heart could only do so much. He felt that even with you only a few inches away, you could feel the vibrations in the small space between the two of you.
He hoped it did.
All this over a smile which wasn’t anything big.
Nothing was ever a big deal until he felt your touch. Your fingers pulling at his fingers then upward to wrap them around his wrists quickly, gripping lightly higher and higher until you held onto his arms for balance, in order to tiptoe and kiss his cheek. You felt him tense.
“Congratulations,” you said as you levelled with his stare, as if it was so simple.
It hadn’t been clear to Jungkook that it was you who leaned in.
“I hope you don’t mind,” you said when you figured he remained silent.
He shook his head. “Of course not.”
You bit your lower lip and indulged him into another tight hug, crossing your arms over his shoulders. And his, followed around your waist.
There were two chests hammering at that time.
No one could tell if it was their own or the other’s.

PRESENT, SECOND DAY OF PLAYOFFS…
Once the game is over, your arrival outside the visiting team’s locker room is one that could be classified as “a minute too late” but it’s the best thing you could do. The floods of college students and outsiders at all entrances and exits have made it impossible for you to get to the lockers as soon as the game ended.
You are left with an opened door, allowing you access to scan whoever’s left inside and no, Jimin’s not there anymore.
“Hey, _____.”
However, Taehyung is.
“Hey, Tae,” you greet back. “Is Jimin there?”
“I thought he left to come see you…” he trails, “but I do realize that that’s wrong now because you are here.”
“Nice,” you comment curtly.
“Hey, c’mon, now. Cut me some slack. I’m tired,” he says with a chuckle. “You don’t even look like you’re happy to see me.”
You quickly feel bad for how you responded to him. “Sorry,” you apologize.
He raises a brow then leans on the doorframe with crossed arms.
“For being rude,” you continue. “And for you know, the game.”
“Well, what can I say?” he says, ticking his head to the side. “You really are Jungkook’s lucky charm.”
You don’t answer, not really in the right state of mind to do so. Especially when Jungkook’s declaration of you as his lucky charm – that specific moment of your life –  is the one thing that’s been keeping your senses awake, having been replayed in your head for so many times amid the game until now.
“Here I thought you could’ve been my lucky charm. Turns out, it’s just because we were on the same team back then,” he quips with a chuckle, wrapping a towel around his neck.
“Okay, Tae,” you breathe out, not knowing how to respond to him. “I gotta go look for him. Also, I am happy to see you.”
Taehyung gives you his most charming smile. “Go find him and tell him not to sulk.”
Meters at a turn of your heels, you see the doorstep for the home team’s locker room and some players are out there, loudly conversing. Before you could even pass by them, Namjoon, being apparently one of the players outside, doesn’t waste a second calling you.
“_____!” Namjoon shouts, making you turn. “Thanks for the good luck last night.”
You cringe. “Yeah, well…”
It doesn’t take him a full sentence to understand why. “Oh, yeah, fuck. I forgot. Sorry. And thank you. But also sorry ‘bout that. Sorry it turned out that way—which is a good thing for us but you know, sorry. Okay—I’ll stop.”
You shake your head. “That’s fine, I guess.” The best you could give is a small smile. “And congratulations, by the way!”
“Thank you!” is his quick response. “I’d hug you but I really haven’t… showered.”
“That’s fine,” you says, snickering a little.
The locker door opens and the players outside hoot because finally, it’d be their turn to shower. Of course, as though the universe has a way of telling you things, the locker room spews a newly-showered Jungkook. A Jungkook of red-tinted cheeks and drenched curls from the hot shower.
Suddenly, it’s quiet and Namjoon isn’t doing any saving.
So you try.
“C-Congratulations,” is your nervous congratulatory attempt.
And just as you think Jungkook would answer you, he doesn’t, not when his teammates round up to him and carry him on their arms to celebrate his successful contributions to the team. As it’s many of his runs that concluded their win.
You shift your gaze to Namjoon who’s just as dumbfounded as you. When you shake your head, he shrugs—the contributing factor to your decision to leave abruptly and find Jimin who still, hasn’t replied to any of your texts.
Fuck it.

Chapter 24 | Chapter 25 | Chapter 26
Tumblr media
I woke up to voices talking and the front door closing. Still fogged with sleep, I smiled because I felt comfortable and warm. But then I noticed that an arm was draped around my waist, and my back was pressed against a chest. I was suddenly very awake and felt heat rise to my cheeks before I gently turned my head to see Yoongi laying behind me.
It took me a moment to recall what I had said before I fell asleep, when I was only half-awake. Crap! How could I have asked that? I need to get up before someone sees this!
Just as I was about to get up, Jin walked into the room. He stepped on the bottom rung of the ladder and looked me in the eyes before smirking.
“I told you that you could use my bed, not that both of you should,” he said.
I sat up and opened my mouth to respond, but no words came out.
“Are they sleeping?” Taehyung asked as he walked into the room.
Jin looked at him, still smirking. “Well it seems we woke (Y/n) up but Yoongi’s still fast asleep.”
Tae looked at Yoongi’s bed, seeing it empty. “He’s not in his bed, though.” Jin tilted his head in our direction and Taehyung gasped. “You’re kidding!” He grabbed onto the end of the bed to pull himself up and take a look. “How did that happen?!”
I ignored him for now, thoroughly embarrassed, and turned my attention to Jin. “Would you mind stepping down so I can leave?”
He shook his head. “Nah, I think I’m going to stay right here. I want everyone to see this.” He smiled mischievously.
Yoongi grumbled, seeming to finally start waking up from all the noise. Even though I sat up, I hadn’t moved other than that so his arm was still around my waist. In his still mostly-asleep state he tightened his grip to try to pull me closer to him again. I fell back onto the bed from the action, and he wiggled closer to me so his chest was pressing against my back once more. If it wasn’t before, my face was definitely as red as a tomato now.
Jin had already pulled out his phone and quickly took a picture of us before I could move.
“Yoongi, wake up,” I said, sitting up. He only grumbled in response, trying to tug me back down again. I grabbed his arm to push it off of me and scooched forward on the bed towards the ladder. “Wake up, Yoongi,” I said again as I shook his leg.
“What’s wrong, noona?” he asked, a little more alert.
“Your members are home,” I replied.
He sat up quickly once I said that and looked at Jin and Taehyung through half-lidded yes, but he quickly became more alert as his cheeks flushed.
“Seokjin, could you please move?” I asked him again.
He just smiled even bigger. “Hey, guys!” he called to the others. “You should come in here and see this! Apparently I’m psychic.”
“Jin, I swear I’m going to kill you,” I said, pushing on his chest but he didn’t budge.
The others started filing into the room while Jin laughed and Taehyung stepped aside so the others would see.
“Why are you guys in the same bed?” Jungkook asked.
“Yeah,” Joon said, seeming to find immense enjoyment out of this. “What were you guys up to while we were gone? And in Jin hyung’s bed of all places?”
“Namjoon!” I yelled. “No!”
Yoongi was basically malfunctioning, not moving or saying anything. Just sitting there, staring off into space.
I sighed in frustration. “Seokjin! Please move so I can get down!”
He calmed down his laughter as he finally moved aside and I hurried down the ladder. Yoongi still didn’t move.
“Did you guys have fun without us here?” Hoseok asked in a teasing tone.
“I swear if you guys insinuate that something like that happened one more time I’m going to quit my job!” I yelled back as I went to the fridge to pull out ingredients to make dinner.
Most of them had followed me back out of the room to either sit in the living room or watch what I was doing in the kitchen.
“Seriously though,” Jimin said, “why were you guys sleeping in the same bed?”
I sighed. “It wasn’t intentional. It’s just…” I paused, trying to think of the best way to put it. “I had a nightmare that involved Yoongi getting hurt and when I was going back to sleep, I had asked him to stay close to me because I needed to know he was safe. I was half-asleep when I asked him that.”
Tae hummed. “I guess that makes sense. So you guys weren’t sleeping like that every night while you were here?”
“No, of course not,” I replied. “That was the only time that happened.”
“Was it really that bad of a nightmare, noona?” Jungkook asked.
I paused what I was doing as I recalled my dream. I felt my heartrate speed up and my body shake a little at the memory. The dream had started out just like real life, how Joon and I had found Yoongi in the hotel room in pain. We took him to the hospital, but instead of it being appendicitis they diagnosed him with something much more serious (it was a dream so it wasn’t clear on what since I didn’t actually have much knowledge on diseases) and he was taken immediately for emergency surgery.
But there was a complication and he didn’t make it. I had fallen to my knees and covered my face while I sobbed and when I looked up, I was engulfed in darkness and the rest of the members, Sejin, and Bang surrounded me in a circle. They all looked at me with hatred and started blaming me, saying it was my fault and that I should have taken better care of him. I tried saying something, but they all walked away, ignoring my cries and leaving me alone in the darkness. I had curled my legs into my chest and continued sobbing. That’s when I finally managed to wake up thanks to Yoongi.
“Noona?” Taehyung had rested a hand on my shoulder and was looking at me, worried. He placed his other hand on my cheek and used his thumb to wipe away tears I hadn’t realized I shed. “Are you okay?”
I nodded. “I’m okay. And yes, Jungkook. It was… really bad.”
Tae pulled me into his chest and tightly held onto me. “It’s okay, you don’t need to tell us,” he said into my hair before placing a soft kiss on top of my head. “We understand.”
I relaxed into the embrace, finding comfort in his warmth before pulling away and smiling at him. “Sorry to worry you. I’m really okay, I promise. It really was just a nightmare. It just scared me a lot.”
“Sorry, noona,” Jungkook said with his head lowered. As I looked toward him, I realized the rest of the boys had gathered nearby, no doubt having seen what just happened. “I didn’t mean to make you feel upset.”
“It’s alright, Kookie,” I assured him. “You were just curious.”
Things were silent for another moment before Jin decided to lighten the mood. “On the plus side,” he said while he tapped away on his phone. “I got this wonderful picture of the two of them.” That was followed by all our phones ringing or vibrating, and I knew he sent it to our group chat.
“Kim Seokjin!” I rushed toward him, making everyone disperse throughout the apartment.
“Aw!” Jimin said. “That’s so cute! Hyung looks so comfortable!”
“Jimin,” Yoongi said. “I will not hesitate to beat you.”
“I may not have been after Namjoon hyung,” Tae said with a certain determination in his voice, “but I will definitely be next.”
“Do you guys want dinner or not?” I asked. “Because I could just go home and forget about this.”
“No, please stay!” Hoseok said, coming to hug me from behind. “We haven’t seen either of you for three days and we missed you. Please stay.”
I smiled, patting Hobi’s hands that rested on my stomach to let him know it was okay. “I guess. I kind of missed you guys too.”
“Only kind of?” Jin asked.
I pointed at him before saying, “I missed you least of all. Don’t think I’m not going to get you back for today.”
“I wasn’t the one snuggling up to Yoongi,” Jin mumbled underneath his breath.
“Hyung,” Jungkook whined. “She’ll leave if you keep teasing her.”
“We love you, noona!” Jimin said.
“You’d better,” I responded.
I continued making dinner, even with Jin’s help. I may have been acting angry, but of course he knew I was just joking around. Was I embarrassed by what happened? Absolutely. But even so I could still find the humor in the situation and soon enough we were laughing together while we cooked.
We all ate together for the first time in what felt like forever. Somewhere in between the stories they managed to accumulate from the fan signs, Yoongi chimed in.
“Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you guys before you all left,” he said. “When noona and I were at my studio a few days ago I learned something about her.” I gave him a look to try to tell him to shut up, but he just smiled back and continued. “She actually has a bit of a talent for music.”
“Wait really?” Hobi asked, looking at me.
I chuckled nervously. “I mean I wouldn’t say it’s that much… And I’m nothing like any of you guys.”
“She plays piano and she can sing too,” Yoongi continued. “She sounded really good.”
“I knew you could sing!” Jungkook said, overly excited.
“He’s exaggerating,” I said, lowering my head.
Yoongi shook his head. “I’m not. Here, see for yourselves.” He pulled out his phone and placed it in the middle of the table.
“Oh my gosh. You didn’t,” I said.
“Of course I did,” he replied with a smirk.
I hid my face in my hands in embarrassment while the video of my performance from a few days ago played for all of them to see. I knew it would be pointless to try to keep them from seeing it because I couldn’t win against seven stubborn boys, so I just let the torture happen.
I stayed in that position even after it was done until Jin who sat next to me gave me a few firm pats on my back. “Yah, (Y/n)! I thought you said you weren’t that great,” he said. “That sounded amazing!”
“Noona, you’ve been holding out on us,” Jungkook replied. “Why would you hide something like this?”
“Like I said, I’m nothing like you guys,” I replied. My face was definitely red at this point.
“I beg to differ,” Yoongi said. “She was even interested in how to make music, so I’ve been showing her around the software and she’s learning really well.”
“Oh, are you going to start writing music, too?” Joon asked.
“I was just curious,” I replied. “But I don’t think I could do it that well.”
“Based on what I’ve seen, if you keep at it I’m sure you’ll do great,” Yoongi said with a soft smile.
“I didn’t know you had an interest in music though,” Jin said. “Why have I never heard about this?”
“Maybe because you guys are musicians and it was embarrassing for me,” I said.
“This isn’t embarrassing!” Tae said. “It’s great! And now we have more things we can talk to you about.”
“Like you had any problems finding things to talk about before,” Hobi said in a teasing tone.
It was so nice to be with all of them again. I really enjoyed the past few days with Yoongi, and I felt like we became closer because of them. But I really did miss everyone.
Soon enough, it was getting late and I urged them all to get some sleep since we’d be busy with a small concert tomorrow. I gathered my belongings and walked toward their front door to head across the hall to my own home.
“Noona, wait a moment,” I heard Yoongi say as I was about to open the door.
“What’s up?” I asked, turning around.
He looked uncharacteristically nervous, biting his lower lip as he looked down where he was fidgeting with his hands. “I wanted to um… apologize. For earlier.”
“Earlier?” I asked.
“You know,” he said. “When, um…” He moved one of his hands to the back of his head. “When we took a nap. I really didn’t… do that on purpose.”
“Oh, that,” I said, becoming embarrassed myself. “Don’t worry about it. It was my fault for insisting for you to sleep there. And it’s not like it’s the first time it’s happened with one of you guys,” I lightly laughed and smiled.
Yoongi finally looked up at me and softly smiled back.
“Well, I’ll see you tomorrow,” I said. “Have a good night, Yoongi.”
“You too, noona,” he said. “Oh and one more thing. I… I really enjoyed spending time with you the past few days. Thank you.” Before I could respond, he quickly turned around and shuffled toward the bedroom.
I smiled. Me too, Yoongi. Me too, I thought as I opened their door to go back to my own home.
Tumblr media
It was a bit of a relief to be back at the dorm. It wasn’t that he didn’t like the fan meets. In fact, they all had a really nice time getting to meet their fans. But it really was weird without Yoongi or (Y/n) for the past three days. Ever since they got back home, he could hardly tear his eyes away from her, as if he was trying to make up for the time when he couldn’t see her.
Watching the video of (Y/n) playing the piano and singing was hypnotizing. Even through the screen, he could feel how much she enjoyed music. And he couldn’t think of anything he’d ever seen or heard that was more beautiful. He hoped he’d get to witness it in person one day.
When (Y/n) said that they should get to sleep soon and she’d better go, he couldn’t stop himself from feeling sad. It had been barely any time since they got to see her again, and they already had to part ways again. At least he knew she’d be going with them tomorrow, so even though they’d be working he could still have the comfort of knowing she was nearby.
After saying goodbye, he watched as she walked toward their door to leave. When Yoongi suddenly approached her, he paid close attention to hear what they were talking about. Yoongi sounded embarrassed as he fumbled out an apology about cuddling her while they slept.
He thought back to when he saw the two of them in the bed together. They all joked around about it, but he couldn’t help feeling a pang in his chest at the scene. Knowing they were alone for three days, and the fact that they were in the same bed made it hard not to automatically jump to conclusions. It was such a relief when (Y/n) explained what really happened, even though seeing her so upset over her nightmare was almost unbearable.
He wasn’t dumb, he knew what the pang he felt was. He had started to notice it earlier in the year, but he’d been doing his best to ignore it. Being friends with (Y/n) was important to him, and he wasn’t about to let whatever he was feeling get in the way of it. For all he knew, it was just temporary anyway.
But when he heard Yoongi tell (Y/n) about how much he enjoyed spending time with her and saw him hurry away with a flush covering his cheeks, he felt his stomach turn. What did he mean by that? Was there maybe something there after all? Maybe it was a good idea to just push the thoughts and feelings he had begun to have aside, in case it caused an issue between the two of them later. But that thought was quickly replaced with the idea that there was no way he could do that.
He might not have had confidence to do anything about how he was feeling now, but there was no way he’d give up that easily. Not yet. His mind was made up. He wasn’t going to push, wasn’t going to try to move forward with anything quite yet. But he had to see where this took him and he could only hope that (Y/n), their dear manager and precious friend, may eventually be able to see him the same way he did her.

You're his celebrity crush and meet at an awards show
Pairings: OT7 x International Artist!Reader
Genre: Fluff, crack ig
Request: "hii ! i love your work and i've been having major feels with the boys at the bbmas so i was wondring if you could write a reaction for u being an artist they have a crush on and they meet you at an awards show and it's all cute and stuff?? 💜"
A/N: I really loved writing this! I'm just gonna do what I do with Shipping Material, for those of you who don't know hahah:
“English”
«Korean»
Tumblr media
Kim Seokjin
“You know BTS?”
You couldn't help but giggle at the man's words, nodding your head right after, for there was really no other answer to that.
When you had gone to the restroom earlier that night, only to find people waiting outside of it because of how full it was, you had considered turning around and coming back some time later, but it just so happened that no other than Kim Seokjin had arrived two seconds after you, and had decided not to let his chance to talk to you slip away; even if he didn't have Namjoon to translate for him.
So now here you were, both of you not even bothering on lining up anymore, and instead moving aside not to block the way.
“Who doesn't know BTS at this point?” you answered after having uselessly tried to conceal your smile, raising one of your eyebrows and earning a proud yet shy smile from Jin. “You know Y/N?” it was your turn to cheekily ask.
He stretched his arms out before folding them over his chest as he leaned against the wall. “Ah, yes” he tried to play it cool, “very beautiful” he nodded like it was a fact, bringing immediate heat to your face, “voice… yeah” he emphasized, holding one of his thumbs up.
You gazed down in embarrassment, allowing another laugh to escape your throat – an action of yours he found to be quite adorable.
“I'd have to say the same about Kim Seokjin then” your eyes locked with his once more, ones that had sparkled at the fact that you actually knew his name. “10/10 vocals and looks”.
At that, he unsuccessfully tried to erase the smile that had already formed on his lips – his ears turning a furious red.
“Me? Oh, no” he denied, waving his hands in front of him, “no... you are best”.
Out of your mouth came what was a mix of a scoff and a laugh. “What? No way, hear me out–”
Who would've thought your first interaction ever would turn into a ‘no, you're better’ contest. At least you made him comfortable enough to fight you from the beginning.
Tumblr media
Min Yoongi
“You mind if I join you?”
Yoongi's head snapped up at the sound of an unfamiliar voice, his eyes opening wide in shock when he realised he had no other than you in front of him.
Being too caught up in the sight of you, he could do nothing but absently shake his head, moving a little to the side for you to sit next to him.
“Why are you here and not inside?” you wondered in an attempt of making small talk.
“Um, air” he motioned around.
“It does get a little suffocating inside, huh?” you leaned back to take a better look at him.
He simply nodded his head, gazing down to his lap before a small smile took over his factions.
“You're sure I'm not bothering you?” you worried, noticing how quiet he was. “I didn't know you'd be here, I can leave if–”
“I'm just…” he interrupted you, looking up to lock eyes with you, “shy...” he admitted sheepishly.
Not only because he was insecure about his English, but also because it was you.
Your lips curved up as you stared fondly at him. “Okay then” you looked ahead, “let's just stay quiet for a while if that makes you feel better”.
So the two of you did just that; remaining silent for a little while, doing nothing but enjoy each other's company. Anyone who saw you would've thought it was such an awkward scene, but it was the complete opposite, actually. It was weird to find a stranger you could be so comfortable around with. It was nice, for both of you.
«Yah! Yoongi, we've been looking for you everywhere» the quiet atmosphere was disrupted faster than you'd have wanted to by Seokjin. “Oh, hello…” he awkwardly greeted you, receiving a smile from you before his eyes were back on Yoon. «They're announcing the Top Artist Award, come on!»
At the sound of that, Yoongi stood up immediately. “Sorry, I have to go, uh– award...” he spoke softly, almost scared of messing up his English.
Biting your lip, you squinted your eyes as you looked up at him. “Go get ‘em, tiger” you encouraged him with a grin, watching for the first time in person his signature gummy smile.
Thinking for a second before turning around to leave, he digged his hands in his pockets, staring down to you. “You don't... wanna come?”
“Um…” your eyes travelled from him to the door. “You know what? Yeah, I do” you stood up as well, a smirk forming on your lips before you added: “I don't wanna miss all the madness when you guys win”.
If you hadn't won him over already by being understanding about his shyness, with that vote of confidence you sure as hell had.
Tumblr media
Jung Hoseok
“Y/N!” he enthusiastically shouted the answer he had been saying over and over every single time the interviewers asked them who they wanted to meet that evening.
Only this time you heard him.
Your head had snapped up at the sound of your name as you walked past them a few meters behind on the red carpet, looking around before your eyes locked with the guy's who was currently interviewing BTS.
“Y/N, hi!” he waved for you to go over there. “Come here, someone wants to meet you!”
Not only did you freeze at that invitation, but so did Hoseok, earning loud laughs from his members as you got closer to them.
“Hi, guys” you shyly greeted with a smile, receiving instant cheerful replies before you stood by Hobi's side, since Joon had stepped aside for you to be in the middle.
Hoseok's eyes were soon to lock with yours – a shy smile parting his lips as he quietly admired your factions, having you unconsciously do the same.
“So, J-Hope right here just told us he was excited to meet you” the interviewer informed you with a smirk, causing Hoseok to tilt his head and turn to his friends as he complained in embarrassment.
Your reaction, however, was something Hobi did not expect at all; for not only did your lips part in what the thought was the brightest, most beautiful smile he had ever seen on you, but you had also covered your face with your hands, letting out a giggle that was soon followed by one of his own.
“Ah, don't tell me that” you told the guy holding the mic in front of you, “he's my favourite, my heart just did a thing”.
«Did she, did she say I'm her favourite?» Hoseok turned to ask Joon with pouty, incredulous lips; later giggling like a little boy on Christmas when their leader confirmed his beliefs. «She did?!» he covered his smiling mouth with his hand.
“Aw, that's so cute!” the other guy gushed at your previous words, for neither of you had any idea of what Hobi's previous gushing had been about. “So you'll be cheering for him tonight?”
“Of course!” you turned to the seven guys. “I mean, I'll be chanting for all of you guys, but if you hear someone screaming ‘J-Hope’ at the top of their lungs, that's probably me”.
And later that night, when he did indeed hear someone screaming his name somewhere in the first rows during his part, his heart sped up uncontrollably, and not precisely because of all the dancing around.
Tumblr media
Kim Namjoon
“Oh, f– I'm so sorry” he apologized as soon as his foot had stepped on your long dress, causing you to stumble over.
Luckily for you, just like he almost made you fall, he had also been the one to make sure to catch you – his hands being quick to hold you firmly by your arms, and staying there for a little longer so you could regain your balance.
“It's okay” you let him know with a shy smile, “I've been stepping on it all evening as well” at that, Joon exhaled the air he had been holding, gently letting go of you for once and for all. “It's such an awful, uncomfortable dress. I hate it”.
“Oh” he pursed his lips, eyeing up and down the dress he believed so perfectly hugged your body, “this might not help at all, but I think you look beautiful”.
It did help. Quite a lot, actually – that simple statement itself being enough for a shiver to run down your spine.
“Thank you” you replied, feeling yourself once again becoming shy. “I'm Y/N, by the way”.
“I know” he answered with an obvious tone, later letting out a breathy, nervous laugh, at the realisation of how he had exposed himself. “I um, I'm Namjoon”.
“I know” you repeated his previous words, biting down on your lower lip in response to his dimples showing up as he smiled.
Just like that, your manager called you from the other side of the hall, for you to go change into the outfit you'd be wearing for your performance.
“Seems like I'm finally getting out of this dress” your voice came out with a tone of relief, grabbing the sides of it and pulling it a little bit up so that you could walk properly. “It was nice getting stepped on by you, see you later!”
“It was my pleasure, I hope we can do this again sometime soon!” he played along as you walked away, smiling widely after watching you tilt your head back to let a laugh escape your throat.
Clumsiness? That he could always count on.
Tumblr media
Park Jimin
Taehyung sneakily nudged Jimin as you got closer to greet him, for he had frozen on his place as soon as he heard you call them from the other side of the hallway – his eyes in absolute awe as he watched you hug his members one by one.
And when you finally got to him, he didn't really know which one of you was shaking more.
“Sorry” you apologized to all of them once you had pulled away from him, knowing well enough they had all noticed your body slightly tremble, “I'm really nervous, I'm a huge fan of you guys”.
A unison “aw” came out of their mouths.
“Don't be nervous” to everyone's surprise, it was Jimin the one to speak up first, with what you thought was the cutest of pronunciations.
“Yeah” Namjoon backed up his friend, “we're huge fans too, so we're just as nervous, to be honest” he laughed, making you laugh in a way that had Jimin staring with even more admiration.
“Yeah!” Jimin spoke up again, “your voice!” he paused, pressing his lips together and effusively nodding his head to let you know how much he liked it, bringing instant heat to your face as you blisfully thanked him.
He wanted to say something else, to talk more to you, but you were interrupted by your manager tapping your shoulder to hurry you up.
“Oh, um…” you looked around, “I wish I had more time but my performance's about to start” you stuck your lower lip out. “I just wanted to wish you guys the best of lucks later tonight, you're gonna kill it”.
“Ah, thank you!” they all answered once again, with grateful smiles.
“Wait, let's take a picture!” Joon proposed out loud after one of their staff members showed him a camera.
You didn't have to think even once before accepting, turning around to look in the same direction as them. On the other hand, Jimin didn't even try and stop his legs from moving closer to you in the middle, quietly asking Hoseok to move over and let him be by your side – placing his hand over your shoulders without getting to touch you as he smiled brighter than the camera flash itself.
And so when you turned around to say goodbye, he opened his arms to quickly hug you once more before you took off to the stage.
«Aw, she's so beautiful, how's that even possible» he gushed to his members, receiving multiple amused smiles when his smile turned into a pout. «Why'd she have to leave so soon?»
Little did he know that was far from being the last time you met each other.
Tumblr media
Kim Taehyung
He was dying to talk to you.
The moment they were guided to their seats and he noticed one of them would be sitting next to you, he had rushed over there to claim it as his. However, just as much as he was dying to say something to you, his confidence was betraying him.
From time to time, he'd turn to you with the intention of starting a conversation in between performances, but nothing would come out of his mouth, turning his head in the opposite direction before he could make a fool of himself. You had said “hi” to each other already, why couldn't he bring himself to say something else?
It was when he noticed you were asking someone for some water, that he decided to take his chance – picking up the bottle of water under his seat to hand it to you.
“Have it” he spoke after your dumbfounded eyes travelled from the item to fix on his. “Is not… open…” his eyebrows knitted together as he looked up, wondering if he had managed to make his point clear.
An understanding smile curved up your lips, taking the bottle from his hands and thanking him before you opened it and took a sip.
Say something else. Tell her she looks pretty. Make small talk. Anything. He repeated over and over in his head, yet nothing came out. So, he smiled once more and turned his head back away from you, internally beating himself up for it.
It was you, later that night, the one who made his wishes come true; when you noticed how one of his members had taken away from him the popcorns he had been munching on, leaving him sulking with a pout on his lips.
“Here” you handed him yours, receiving a baffled expression from him. “You can have mine”.
In the end, what happened was that he did not take yours, but accepted to share them instead – leaning over to your side and finally relaxing next to you as the two of you ate and commented on the show, which lead to lots of laughter througout the night.
Never had he ever thought he'd thank Jeongguk for stealing his food.
Tumblr media
Jeon Jeongguk
“Don't be so nervous” you tried to encourage him with a small smile, having his eyes move up from the paper note he was tightly holding to focus on you – a smile of his own curving up his lips as well.
“My English…” he begun, trying to translate the right words in his head, “is not... good”.
“It's pretty good, actually” you once again tried to make him gain some confidence.
Neither of you understood why they had settled things up this way – each one of the BTS members having to present an award with someone else, instead of doing it all together like they always did. In Jeongguk's case, he had been paired up with you, which is why here you were now, both of you sitting backstage, going over your dialogue a few times as you waited for your turn to come.
And he didn't know if it had been a blessing or a curse, for he had gotten to meet you, the one artist he had been crushing on for years… but, at the same time, there was a high probability of him messing up at some point and make a complete fool of himself in front of you.
“You know what?” you spoke after taking in his uncertain eyes. With a raised eyebrow, he let you know you had his attention. “If it makes you feel any better, I can make a fool of myself in front of everyone”.
His eyes opened wide. “W-What?”
“Yeah” you nodded your head, “I'll just mess up the words or something and then you'll have nothing to worry about!”
“No, no” he shook his head, holding his hands out as if to signal for you to stop. “You don't– have to…”
“Oh, I will do it, my friend” you raised an eyebrow in determination. “I already thought of it, there's no turning back now”.
That serious statement of yours managed to get a breathy laugh out of him.
You were his crush for a reason, but knowing you were willing to sacrifice your public image just to help him out with his nervousness? He might as well have fallen in love right then and there.

hi Liv! oh my gosh i'm sorry that it has taken me forever to get back you! i finally got caught up on all of your fics, and i know that i have said this before but i love your writing so so much! everything is always so well written and i really love how you put so much thought and effort into it. you always seem to take traits that the boys have irl and incorporate them into the fics, as well as portraying what an actual relationship looks like - having both ups and downs.
Jin and Poopsie are an absolute breath of fresh air. they both have that chaotic energy to them that Jin himself exudes. i also love how they were best friends before they actually got together. my most favorite fic from these two definitely has to be "I still choose you every single day" where Jin told her "I just don't want to contribute to anything negative in your life, that's not what a partner should do." LIKE UGH🥺 he is just absolutely perfect in every way possible!!
Min and Kid are just two precious babies. 😭 they're one in the same. while reading their story up to now i had this thought in the back of my head that maybe that they were so hesitant at first to get close to each other was because they'd possibly been hurt before in the past, and just had some kind of wall built up from the particular experience? i feel like i have read the "I know it's 4 am but it's snowing" fic almost a thousand times. the whole time i was just like 🥺 they gradually became more comfortable with each other and were more open to talk about a lot of different things; it's so refreshing and warm to see! they are 100% my faves!
next to Min and Kid, Jimin and Dear are my second faves! for some reason the two relationships feel the same to me and have similar dynamics but with just different people and different situations. they both have definitely had their rough patches but they were able to work through them and come out stronger and better than ever. the reason why they remind me of each other a lot aside from that is because of Jimin and Dear's breakup; it reminded me of how before Min and Kid made things 100% official, there was a point in tine where Yoongi had to go to Japan and when he got back he went to see Kid. they had that argument and Kid said "you know that I would ruin myself over and over again for you." they are both willing to whatever it takes to be with each other, and even though the girl wanted them both Jimin and Yoongi felt like they weren't enough for them?
Namjoon and Daisy are so fond of each other that it's so adorable. i remember in the post where you gave facts about the girls you mentioned that Daisy can't cook but is learning, sings in the shower, has a fashion sense, and is intimidating but soft; it's like she is the girl version of Namjoon in some way. in my head i can definitely imagine the two of them coordinating outfits, going on long walks together, giving each other help and tips while cooking. i can also see them just doing simple little things like more museum dates, picnics in a park, hiking together, reading together, playing games together on rainy days in. they level each other out well!
Jungkook, Hobi, and Tae's relationships also strike me as being a little similar because it's like they both just have a love that's purely innocent. they have their ups and downs to but majority of everything that comes from them is wholesome.
(i hope you are doing well and staying safe love!!❤❤)
Omg don’t apologize, you’re totally fine! I’m so glad you enjoy the fics, that makes me really happy! Min and Kid are just a little special lol they are overwhelmingly the favs on here and rightfully so haha. I agree, there are certain couples that definitely share similar origins/have similar dynamics. I would even group Daisy and Joon into the Min/Kid and Jimin/Dear group bc of Daisy’s fears and hesitations early on. Those three are all really fun couples to write because of the growth they’ve made since their hard times.
Jin and Poopsie lmao I personally relate to Jin a lot so writing for them is so fun because I get to let all my chaotic strangeness out on them. I do that with Tae and Peaches a little bit too and it’s always a good time lmao.
Omg I’m actually planning a fic where Daisy is giving Joon cooking lessons, even though she’s far from a pro herself. They really are kind of mirrors of each other :(
I agree, Jungkook/Holly, Hobi/Petal, and Tae/Peaches all maintain this kind of wholesome/innocent/besties within the domestic sphere vibe. They never have too many conflicts and when they do they can easily work through them and forgive and move on. There’s just a lot of mutual understanding between these three couples. They’re so sweet :( I swear, everyone deserves the Petal to their Hobi or vice versa and that’s that on that.
Thank you for sending this, I love hearing your guys’ thoughts on the couples and it means a lot that you took the time to type all of this up <3

Genre: Fluff // Angst // werewolf au // PG
Summary: “Don’t call me sweets!”
WC: 3.3k
A/n: Starting to roll out the second parts for those who have asked for them!
»»————- ★ ————-««
Jimin watched as you bore your fangs in his direction. He could see that you were resisting tearing his head off, but there was something beautiful about you. Yes, Jimin had just bit your leg and marked you, and yes, it was such a weird place to bite. He was resisting the urge to wrap his arms around you and hug you, but after what had just happened, you might kill him. Although, both of you knew there was no way that you would.
You were bounded to each other in ways you wished you hadn’t been. Jimin reached out to touch you, but you ultimately smacked his hand away. Pain swelled in both your chests at such a simple action. You shook your head again, scrambling now to find your clothes.
“Hey..” He starts trying to figure everything out as well. You turned around to narrow your eyes in his direction. He placed his hands up as quickly as he could, then allowed you to continue what you were doing. You didn’t bother to put your underwear on because you were marching out of this house.
Your chest ached each step you took away from Jimin. Every part of you wanted to curl yourself around him, hug him close and kiss him. But, you were too blinded but your own anger to do so, that it made it somewhat easier. Emila was the only other one to notice something was up because of her keen sense of smell.
She pushes whomever she was trying to get into bed with off and ran over towards you. Then she scrunches her nose at the smell, eyes widening, and reaches out to grab your hand. Spinning you around and pausing at your face. You hadn’t noticed that you were crying because of how angry you were. Emila didn’t ask any questions. Instead, she took your hand and guided you out towards her car.
The ride home was long and the most challenging part of the evening. What was harder than that, was coming to terms that you just got bit by Park Jimin. You were confident that your mate was going to be a vampire, God, you were satisfied that it was. Now you had to explain to your parents why you smelt horrible and why your life would be changed forever.
You barely even graduated high school, let alone now you had someone whom you were going to spend the rest of your life with, and you hardly knew them. You brought your knees up to your chest as you hiccuped on the passenger side. Emila turns to look in your direction, frowning but not saying anything.
She pulled into your driveway a few moments later. Parking the car and turning towards you. Opening her mouth, Emila was about to say something, but you shook your head. You knew that you were going to have to face your parents sooner or later. They were old fashion, you knew they were going to kick you out. As long as your friend stayed by your side, maybe this wouldn’t be so bad.
It was a lot worse. The moment you stepped inside, your mother was waiting for you in the living room. She had her hands on her hips, ready to shout at you, but when she got a whiff, her eyes darkened. She quicker than lightening and slammed your body into the wall. Your father heard the commotion and came running down the stairs.
Both of your parents started yelling at you for the mistake you had made. Scolding you for how wreckless and inconsiderate you were. This lecturing took two hours before your mother finally decided to let you off the hook. Emila had turned her car off at this time and was helping you move your things out. Since Emila’s parents were just as bad as your own, you decided to call your sister up.
You didn’t explain everything that went down, because you knew she would know once you moved in. You packed everything you possibly could in the short amount of time you had. Thanks to your superhuman speed and strength, you got everything out of your home. As everything was going down, you fully understood why your sister ran away.
You understood what harm this could have brought if she were still around. The entire time you wished that you could turn back time and redo everything over again. You were starting to believe your parents' words, for it seemed like it was all true. Glancing up at the full moon, you cursed at it. How dare he take something so precious from you...
And yet, that small pang in your heart ached the further you were away from Jimin. It was that pang that told you that it wasn’t his fault, nor was it your fault. It was an honest mistake that was irreversible.

“Y/n?” Avianna questions opening the door. “I’m so-” she pauses, watching you shuffle into her apartment. It was a four-bedroom two-bath complex. Your sister was two years older than you were, and she already had a husband and a small child. Which had both qualities of wolf and vampire in their system. It was already four in the morning, and the sun was about to come up in a few hours.
“Please, just help me get my stuff in. Emila has to go home soon..” You answered, heading towards the office were your sister already had an air mattress set up for you. Jonathan, her husband, was awake and getting ready for work.
Jonathan was a couple of years older than Avianna and was a beta. His pack welcomed your sister with open arms and was more supportive than your family seemed to be. So when he saw you, the one person who called him so many names walk into their apartment, he didn’t seem pleased. Jonathan wanted to bear his teeth and tell you to leave but stopped himself when he smelt another wolf’s scent on you.
Then, he clicks his tongue and leans against the counter. “Well, well,” he starts. After everything you’ve done to him, you weren’t surprised he was about to throw you under the bus. “Looks like miss goodie two shoes got herself marked.”
“Jonathan!” Avianna hisses holding the door open for Emila, who was caring a few things. You turned to look at your brother in law, your cheeks still red from crying and puffy from your mother’s slaps. Jonathan had a smug look on his face, one that seemed to be laughing at you. You took a deep breath in, only to exhale and head down the hallway.
“Not so perfect now, are we, huh?” The rest of the night, you were holed up in your new room unpacking things. You could hear the small argument Avianna was having with her husband, but at this point, you could care less. Emila helped you move everything in and then said her goodbyes. Reassuring you that everything was going to be okay, but she knew you weren’t for a while.
The clock was nearing five, and the front door slammed. You could only assume it was Jonathan leaving for work because you could hear your sister’s muttering down the hall. Thankfully, it was nearing fall break, so you would have a few weeks to yourself. To gather your being together and hopefully get back to acting as if everything was okay.
Each and every movement was harder than the last. You kept thinking about Jimin and how you wanted him to hold you. To tell you everything was ultimately going to be okay in the end. The other part was disgusted in how you were already missing someone you barely knew. But that’s how mates worked. You were supernaturally linked to each other, and there was no separating such.
A soft knock came from the office door, and your sister stepped in a few moments later. She shuts the door behind her, silently moving in and sitting down in front of you. You had your album laid out in front, looking at all the pictures you had neatly over your bedroom wall. Now, they were all scattered, and you didn’t have the motivation to put them on your new bedroom wall.
“May I asked how it happened?” Avianna softly questions. You glanced up at her, blinking a few times and then sighing.
“I went to a party last night,” you paused, chewing on your lower lip. “There’s this wolf, Jimin.” you broke again and sighed. “He’s in a pack full of alpha’s.”
“I’m not surprised you went for an alpha,” Avianna jokes. This brought a smile on your face.
“It’s weird, though. I would assume most of them would be beta’s, but they’re all alpha’s. It’s just weird.” you paused again, shaking your head and continued telling her what happened. Starting off with the game, you played with Jimin and getting caught up in your own body changing. It was like you were hunting him, but instead, he pursued you.
Thinking about how much fun it brought you was the only thing that seemed to comfort you. Avianna noticed the change in your appearance and smiled, watching you grow up. She took a deep breath after you finished, reached out, and touched your shoulder gently. She pats it a few times, then moves back and crosses her legs.
“Sounds exactly what Jonathan did to me,” she chuckles, shaking her head but then changing her demeanor. “Pushing that aside for a second,” she chews on the inside of her cheek, folding her hands in her lap. “First, I want to say that it’ll be a hard adjustment for Jonathan. He holds a lot of resentment for how you treated him,”
You opened your mouth but quickly shut it after Avianna put her finger up to stop you. “But he’ll come around. Second, you can stay here until you move out to college. I know you haven’t quite decided where you’re going yet, but I don’t want to rush you in your process. Finally, you need to talk to this Jimin guy because now you two are linked for the rest of your life.” pausing once more and smiling. “Do whatever you have to do, but don’t push him away, okay?”
“Wait,” you automatically say. “You’re not mad at me?” Avianna stares at you blankly before laughing. This was a sound you hadn’t heard in years, considering that you hadn’t talked to her for a while. She simply shakes her head in your direction, reaching out to bop your nose.
“Why would I be mad at someone who fooled around and got marked? That would be calling the kettle black, sweetie.” Avianna reaches forward to start picking up a few of the pictures you had lying around. “Let’s get this room looking cozy before Andrew wakes okay?”

Jimin couldn’t stay away from you any longer. It had been twelve hours since being holed up in his bedroom. Your scent was still on his sheets, and he had been pacing back and forth. Not only did the entire pack know what was going on, but they scolded him as well too. He got the worst of it from Seokjin, of course, considering he was the eldest.
Taehyung, Jungkook, and Joon were mostly defending him because they had mates, but then again, their efforts didn’t completely go to waste. It seemed to calm down Seokjin for the time being, but Jimin could hear him angerly bicker about how they were all idiots for how they mated. Everyone except Jungkook because his mate was his best friend. But that was beside the point. Jimin glances out his window, puffs his chest out, and then walks over.
He lived on the second floor, he’s jumped from this height before. What could possibly go wrong? Well, it seemed like everything could go wrong, meaning Seokjin could yell at him. And that’s precisely what happened. Jimin opened his window, climbed out, and launched himself forward. He lands with perfect ease, then a chilling spine crawls down his back.
“Jimin-ah!” He turns around to see the eldest wolf standing there with his hands on his hips. Much like an angry mother would after they found their child disobeying. Jimin slowly stands, shrugging his shoulders and back peddling.
“Sorry, hyung!” he calls, moving at full speed down the driveway and running anywhere he possibly could. Much like any supernatural being, their senses are intensified. Everything was more precise now that he was a wolf, so it was somewhat easier to find you. Or was that because he mated you? Jimin couldn’t tell, and he didn’t want to start exploring the possibilities. It also felt like he was a stalker considering that he spent most of the afternoon sniffing around.
Jimin felt like an idiot for wandering around the town until he picked up on your scent. When he did, he ran with it until it became stronger. He stood in front of your sister’s apartment complex and was confused at first. He thought that your parents were rich and powerful and expected you to live in some great big house. He also didn’t expect the scent of another wolf to be lingering either.
To his surprise, the wolf opened the door when Jimin got the courage to knock. He stood there with his back straightened, and his arms crossed. Then, a small smug of a smile tugged at his lips. “So this is the wolf Y/n got bit by,” he muses, shaking his head. Jimin cocks an eyebrow at him about to mention something along the lines of
“Well, you’re a beta, so you shouldn’t be-” but then he stopped himself from saying anything. Just because he was a beta didn’t mean that Jimin should assert his dominance. Especially when he knew there were beta’s out there that if given a chance, they could be stronger than an alpha. However, that didn’t mean that they were ultimately more powerful than an alpha.
Plus, this wolf seemed older than him, and Jimin was always taught to respect his elders. Even if their rank was lower than his.
“Jonathan!” a woman hissed from the back. “Why do you have to be such an asshole.” Jimin sniffed the air for a second, noticing that whoever this woman was, she had your scent all over her. When she came up to the door, you noticed that she looked almost exactly like you, but smaller in so many ways.
“You chose me, baby,” Jonathan muses, sticking his tongue out. The woman next to him punched his side and tried to push him aside. She was holding a toddler in her arms. He looked like a mix between Jonathan and her but had a different scent to him.
“No, you marked me so shut up,” she mumbles, turning her attention towards Jimin. Her facial features softened, and she stuck her hand out. Before she could, the toddler squirmed in her arms and reached out to grab any part of Jimin he could touch.
“My name is Andrew!” he said proudly. “Daddy wolf, mommy vampire!” he giggled at his declaration and then clapped his hands together.
“That’s very true, munchkin, but I don’t think you should be touching someone unless they say it’s okay.” the vampire holding Andrew answers. Jimin flushes slightly, opening his mouth to say it was okay, but Andrew cutting him off.
“But he is a wolf, right?” Andrew questions looking at Jonathan for an explanation. Jonathan nods his head, going to speak but little Andrew cutting all of them off once again. “So, it’s okay!”
“I’m actually here to see Y/n..” Jimin starts moving his hand up to grasp Andrew’s palm. “It’s okay to touch me, buddy, I don’t mind,” he answers Andrew, then glancing back at the woman.
“I’ve heard all about you, Jimin. I’m Avianna, Y/n’s eldest sister. Come in, she’s in her room.” Jimin didn't fully understand how Avianna knew his name, but he simply rolled with it. Maybe you told her..no you had to have told her. God, Jimin didn't want to think about much of anything right now.
You were sitting in your room with the lights off and under your blankets. The only light that could be seen as your LED from your phone and you were content on reading whatever dirty fanfiction you could find. Your heart was hurting, and this was the only thing that could at least get you not only horny but bring some sort of comfort.
You heard the commotion in front of the apartment but didn’t pay much attention to it. It was only then when you heard Jimin’s voice, did you suddenly sit upright. You shoved the covers off your head, fumbled with your phone, and tried to move. But it was already too late, Jimin was standing in front of your doorway turning the light on.
You hissed, pulling the covers back over and hiding the fanfiction you were reading. As you were doing so, you scolded him. “What kind of moron decides to come over to some random person’s house just to find me?”
Jimin’s posture relaxed when he was around his mate, his heart pounding in his chest. At your statement, he simply shrugs his shoulders and answers. “I do because we need to talk.”
“Of course we do,” you answered, still under the covers. “Just not with that damn light on.”
“Why not?”
“Because I’ve been in the dark all day!” You hissed again, curling yourself up into a ball holding your phone close to your heart. You weren’t going to tell Jimin your dirty secret, that would be extremely embarrassing. Plus, you didn’t want to mention that you were horny, and you also didn’t want him coming to close. You didn’t know if you could control yourself.
Jimin stood there for a moment before turning the light off and shutting the door. He moves towards the office chair that was direct across from the air mattress. You push your head out from the covers, looking at Jimin sitting there. First, this felt like a romcom, and you weren’t going to let him get away with it. Second, you couldn’t understand how he found you. Then again, you only assumed the worse but decided not to ask any questions.
You two sat there, staring at each other for a long time. It was getting to the point where you wanted to curl back into your protective cacoon and pretend he wasn’t there. However, that was harder than expected because your heart was pounding just as hard as his. So, you took in a deep breath, slowly moved upwards, and crossed your legs.
“Can we just get to know each other?” You start. “You bite me last night, and I barely know a thing about you.”
“You know that I have a massive -”
“Yes, I know that, dumbass!” You grabbed your pillow and threw it at him. Jimin laughed, the sound sending your heart further into a frenzy. He snatched your pillow with one hand, bringing it under his arms and holding it there. He looked adorable, and you puffed your cheeks out at him. You couldn’t believe that you were falling for a wolf. This was certainly not how things were supposed to go...
Jimin fell silent again as he too was trying to find the words. In his silence, you moved up from the mattress and walked over towards him. Brushing past his arm and scribbling something down on a piece of paper. You handed it over to him and once again puffed your cheeks out.
“Here, my number.” then crossed your arms and sighed. “Maybe if you go sit down in the living room and wait, we could go out on a date.” This brought a shit-eating grin on Jimin’s expression.
“Okay, sweets,” he answers.
“Don’t call me sweets!”
