Selection Project

The third promotional video for Selection Project's anime was uploaded on the official website of the multimedia property. The video features the series' opening theme, "Glorious Days," performed by the main cast. Starting on October 1, Doga Kobo will produce the television anime, which will air on Fridays at 10:00 p.m.

Anyway, fun episode with Splasoda, they were bubbling with tension just as their name suggested~ 

It was nice to hear the reasons as to why they all joined SP, can’t wait to find out the band group’s reasons

TV Anime SELECTION PROJECT Releases Image Song MV Filled with The Girls' Sparkling Thoughts

    The official website for the forthcoming idol audition-themed TV anime SELECTION PROJECT has started streaming a 100-second music video for its image song "SELECTION HEROINE." The site introduces the song as " a song that contains the sparkling thoughts of the girls challenging the audition battle!"

  The song is performed by the franchise's nine-member VA unit 9-tie (pronounced cutie) and will be included in their first CD single to be released on October 27, 2021. The single also includes the anime's OP theme song "Glorious Days" and ED theme song "Only one yell."

      "SELECTION PROJECT" is a nationwide idol audition reality show held every summer, and is considered to be the biggest gateway to success for aspiring idols. The girls who have won the nine regional qualifying rounds across the country live together in a special facility for about a month during their summer vacation while challenging themselves in audition battles. Only those who make it through all the rounds and survive will be able to debut as idols.

  The TV anime is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki (WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me), alongside series composition writer Yuya Takahashi (Lupin The 3rd PART 4) and character designer Hirona Hirayama (Rent-A-Girlfriend). Doga Kobo works on anime production, while Dandelion is in charge of CG visuals. It is set to premiere in Japan in October 2021.

Selection Project, ecco le nove protagoniste dell’anime

L’idol talent show animato da Doga Kobo debutterà in Giappone nel corso di quest’anno.

Svelato con tanto di immagine di gruppo il cast principale di “Selection Project”, la serie animata dell’omonimo progetto corssmediale lanciato di recente da Kadokawa, che unisce idol, audizioni e reality show.

L’anime dovrebbe arrivare sulle televisioni giapponesi nel corso del 2021, di seguito trovate bozzetti e doppiatrici delle nove protagoniste (molte delle quali sono al loro primo vero ruolo di rilievo).

La storia segue le nove ragazze che hanno passato le fasi di qualifica regionale per l’annuale Selection Project, un popolare talent show che ogni estate regala l’opportunità di diventare idol a ragazze provenienti da tutta la nazione. I voti del pubblico determinano chi vince e chi perde la competizione-provino.

L’anime è diretto da Daisuke Hiramaki (Asteroid in Love, New Game!) presos lo studio DOGA KOBO (Wataten! An Angel Flew Down to Me, Sing “Yesterday” for Me) e la sceneggiatura è curata da Yuuya Takahashi (Luck & Logic, Lupin III: L'avventura italiana). Il design dei personaggi è ad opera di Kanna Hirayama (Rent-A-Girlfriend), mentre il produttore musicale dietro al progetto è Youhei Kisara (Love Live! School idol project). Le parti in computer grafica sono realizzate da DANDELION ANIMATION STUDIO.
