Takumi Iroha Unseats Misaki Ohata & More WAVE Results from 6/28/18
In a shocking outcome, Misaki Ohata ended up losing the Regina di WAVE in her second title defense to Takumi Iroha on Thursday. The new champion picked up the win following a Running Three and the victory marks the first singles title of her career, which got started back 2013. Like Ohata, Iroha is a former WAVE Tag Team Champion and her reign with Rin Kadokura as “NEW-TRA” was ended earlier this year when the promotion declared the belts vacant due to Iroha’s injury.
She’s also formerly one-third of the Artist of STARDOM Champions, which she captured alongside Io Shirai and Mayu Iwatani back in December of 2014. Also on the show, Yuki Miyazaki and Nagisa Nozaki gained another successful title defense as the current WAVE Tag Team Champions, beating Hiroe Nagahama and Miyuki Takase. The newest contenders for their belts will be decided at the promotion’s show on August 19th, as Yumi Ohka and Mio Momono challenge Sakura Hirota and Miss Mongol. That same event will feature Iroha’s first title defense, as she faces ASUKA.
Pro Wrestling WAVE Korakuen Hall (Tokyo, Japan) 6/28/18
Sakura Hirota & Miss Mongol defeated Fairy Nipponbashi & Yako Fujigasaki – Furafuradon (9:02)
Command Bolshoi, Kaori Yoneyama & Mio Momono defeated Himeka Arita, ASUKA & Yumi Ohka – Stretch Plum (10:47)
Hardcore Rules: Ryo Mizunami & Gunso defeated Rina Yamashita & YASSHI – Hot Limit Through Table (22:15)

Spring 2021 Original TV Anime Bakuten!! 2nd PV Introduces OP Theme by Centimillimental
Along with a new key visual, the official website for the upcoming original TV anime Bakuten!! has posted a 70-second second PV introducing its OP theme song "Seishun no Enbu" (Dance Performance of Youth) performed by Atsushi Onushi's solo project Centimillimental.
The clip also introduces the six members of the men's rhythmic gymnastics club at a high school attached to Hakumei Private University, also known as Shiro-kou. They are the rival club of the protagonist team at Soshukan Private High School, known as Ao-kou.
    Message from Centimillimental:
Centimillimental has sung about the pain of separation, the view of life and death within oneself, and contradictions so far. This time, "Bakuten!!" which I will be in charge of the OP theme, is a slightly different worldview, depicting the glimmer of adolescence where the characters join forces with their friends and earnestly take on challenges. This is also a challenge for me, so to speak, "Bakuten!!" (literally means back handspring in Japanese). I want to jump around in the dazzling world of challenges with them, and see the scenery when I land on my feet again.

The men's rhythmic gymnastics-themed TV Anime is set to premiere in Fuji TV's midnight-programming block Noitamina in April 2021. It is one of the three anime titles of Fuji TV's "Zutto Ouen. Project 2011+10…" to support each of Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures in 2021, the tenth anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake. The story of Bakuten!! is set in Miyagi Prefecture. The other two titles are an original anime feature film Hula Fulla Dance set in Fukushima and an anime film adaptation of Sachiko Kashiwaba's Misaki no Mayoiga novel set in Iwate.
The story begins when the protagonist Shotaro Aoba, who was fascinated by men's rhythmic gymnastics in the summer of his third year of junior high, entered Soshukan High School and joined its men's rhythmic gymnastics club. The story follows how he runs together as a team towards a single goal along with his unique seniors and his classmate, Ryoya Misato, who was famous for his junior high school career in men's rhythmic gymnastics.
