Okay okay I just thought of this Burn headcanon and like. I thought you should know because you’ve been posting about her HEHAB /pos

So for context I’ve had a hc for a pretty long time about how Burn started collecting strange things at a young age (mainly cool looking rocks) because Oasis loved them & encouraged it (Oasis kept every cool rock Lil Burn ever gave her :))

But the thing is her most prized possession when she was younger, was a two headed snake. I imagine everyone was really shocked when the young princess came back with a dead two-headed snake one day and I like to think that’s what REALLY got her into anomalies. She probably kept it in her “Weirdling” tower as well as “the original.” It’s horribly ironic and I like to view it as something that plays into the factoid of “she helped create her own demise”. Just fun and funky Burn stuff

i've been actively ignoring my inbox for a while for no damn reason but i love this?? burn's collection was pretty much only to make her creepier from what i can remember, but honestly i wish we got more information about it and what got her so interested and just...more about what was in her collection in general?? also does burn know how to do taxidermy or—

in addition, imma add my own little extra headcanon here that i personally like to think that she kept some of her collection alive, (mostly before the whole war thing when she had more free time) and treats them basically as her pets.

also i keep imagining her watering like a bright purple plant or smth. idk the thought of burn gardening is amusing to me.

Divinities Part XLIII : Hirgab and Sumul

Also known as: Ab Nashrim (Father of Eagles) and Um Nashrim (Mother of Vultures)

Offspring: Carrion birds

Abode: The heavens

Animals: Eagles and vultures

Description:

Hirgab and Sumul are the father and mother of all carrion birds which eat corpses.  When Danel’s son Aqhat is killed by Yatpan, he requests the god Hadad to help him find Aqhat’s remains.  Hadad complies by killing Hirgab and splitting open his body.  When he finds the stomach empty, he restores Hirgab to life.  He then opens Sumul’s body and finds Aqhat’s remains there.  King Danel buries his son’s remains, then curses any of Hirgab and Sumul’s vulture children who would fly over his grave.

The appearance of a flock of vultures is an ill omen, as it signifies that death is near.
