I’ve seen some headcanons that Himiko loves horror movies and Ochako gets too scared,,, but—
I think Himiko loves horror comedies or horror romance while Ochako loves slashers.

Hoshino's Breakdown with different genres of music - Experiment
I couldn't get the video for this as I was having trouble with downloading stuff.
For this experiment I am using the Hoshino break down scene and exploring how it may change depending on the different genres that have been used.
Ken Carson - Jennifer's Body - This is the first song that I tested. This song is a different approach to the original song used in the original with a similar 'Sound' but being a different genre of Hip-Hop. However this did not enhance the scene in anyway it just felt really out of place.
Himiko Kikuchi - A Seagull And Clouds - This is some classic Japanese Jazz. This much like the last also did not work at all it felt really out of place.
Pantera - Walk - I decided to look into one last one - this being under the heavy metal genre, this one despite working very little also just didn't have the ability to support the scene.
I believe that the songs' lack of resonance with the film stems from a stark contrast in musical style and the carefully curated visual aesthetics that were key in the original soundtrack. The new songs' content and emotional tone seem out of place with the film's narrative and the aesthetics.

I think himiko would love body horror in general and ochako would like survival horror movies and would judge the characters and be 100% sure that would survive if were in a similar situation
